Tequila has become a household drink for most people over the last couple of years. What exactly is it? And where did it come from?
Tequila is a distilled beverage made from agave plants (the same plant that makes tequila). People created the drink in Mexico, but today it's produced worldwide.
There are several types of tequila drinks, each unique taste, and flavor. From Margaritas to Mojitos, these drinks are perfect for any occasion.
This article has explained the different types of tequila drinks available.

Different Types of Tequila

1. Margarita

The word margarita comes from mar (sea) and aguardiente (alcohol). They made this drink in Mexico during the 1920s.
A margarita is a cocktail with tequila, lime juice, and soda water. People usually serve it in ice cold and garnish it with salt.
Don the Beachcomber invented the original margarita in 1934. The drink consists of tequila, lime juice, and salt, and it's served on the rocks or straight up.
The original recipe called for two parts tequila, one part triple sec, and half a cup of simple syrup. Today, you can find many variations on this classic drink.
The most popular variation includes three parts tequila, one-third part triple sec, and a splash of orange juice liqueur or freshly squeezed lemon juice.
We can mix the ingredients in a shaker filled with crushed ice. Then, we can strain it into a glass and top it off with club soda.

2. Paloma

The Paloma tequila cocktail is another popular drink among the different types of tequila drinks. It's like a margarita, except it uses grapefruit juice instead of lime juice.
This drink originated in Cuba back in the 1940s, and it's an authentic Cuban cocktail because it contains rum.
People also call it "palomilla," which means little dove. This cocktail is usually served in a tall glass with ice cubes.
You can add grapefruit juice to the mix and a shot of light rum. Then, we can pour a dash of grenadine into the glass before serving.

3. Mojito

The mojito is a tropical cocktail that originates from Cuba, and it's a combination of mint leaves, sugar, and rum.
In the past, they only served mojitos at bars. Nowadays, you can make them at home, and you need a few simple ingredients like mint leaves, sugar, rum, and club soda.
You crush some mint leaves and add them to a mixing bowl. Add a pinch of sugar and stir until dissolved. Next, pour in your favorite brand of rum.
Mix well and strain out the mint leaves. Put the mixture into a glass and top it off with club soda. Finally, garnish with a sprig of mint.

4. Sangrita

Sangrita is a spicy Mexican cocktail among the different types of tequila drinks. It's made with tomato juice, cilantro, jalapeño peppers, and spices.
To prepare sangrita, you start by chopping tomatoes and adding them to a blender. Next, add cilantro, jalapeno peppers, onion, garlic, and other spices. Blend everything until smooth. Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth.
Next, place all the ingredients into a jar and cover it tightly. Store it in the refrigerator for about 24 hours. Afterward, serve chilled.

5. The Pepino

The Pepino tequila drink is another popular cocktail among the different types of tequila drinks. It combines tequila, pineapple juice, and lime juice, and we can serve it on ice.
The makers of this cocktail created it in Puerto Rico, and however, it has become very popular throughout Latin America.
To create the Pepino, you first combine equal amounts of tequila and pineapple juice. Then, you squeeze in some lime juice. Finally, you fill the glass with crushed ice.

6. The Tequini

The Tequini drink is among the different types of tequila drinks available. It's a combination of tequila and pomegranate juice. It's typically served cold.
Pomegranate juice combined with tequila and served over ice. If you want to spice up the Tequini, you can garnish it with slices of fresh pomegranate seeds.

7. Tequila Sunrise

Tequila Sunrise is one of the most famous cocktails among the different types of tequila drinks. It's a combination of tequila, orange juice, and cranberry juice.
Also, we can serve the drink over ice. The makers invented Tequila Sunrise in Mexico back in the 1980s. It became extremely popular after featuring on a television show.

8. Casa Cosmo

A Casa cosmo combines tequila, triple sec, lemonade, and ginger ale. It's served over ice. It's believed that this cocktail originated in New Orleans. However, it's been available since the early 1900s.
The original recipe calls for equal parts sugar and water. Over the years, the ratio has changed slightly, but the basic premise remains the same. Today, most recipes call for two parts sugar to one part water.

9. El Diablo

An El Diablo combines tequila, grapefruit juice, grenadine, and coconut milk, and we can serve it over ice. We can add grenadine to the mix, followed by coconut milk and grapefruit juice.
Finally, we can pour tequila over the entire concoction. This cocktail started in Cuba. However, it became incredibly popular when featured on the television show Sex and the City.

10. Bloody Maria

The Bloody Mary is a classic and fantastic cocktail, and people usually serve it with vodka or rum. However, there are many variations of the Bloody Mary out there.
One of the more interesting ones is the Bloody Maria, and this version includes tequila instead of vodka.
To make the Bloody Maria, you combine tomato juice, celery salt, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, olive oil, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. You also add tequila to the mixture.
You then pour everything into an old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice. Further, garnish the drink with a slice of pickled jalapeño pepper.

11. Tegroni

The Tegroni combines tequila and gin, and we can traditionally serve it over ice. Tegola consists of agave nectar. Then, we can add gin to the mixture. The result is a sweet and sour beverage.
The drink started in Italy. However, it became extremely popular when featured in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's.

12. Gypsy Girl

The Gypsy girl is a combination between tequila, peach brandy, and champagne, and we can serve it over ice.
People usually use Peach brandy to create the base of the Gypsy girl. Then, we can add tequila to the mixture. Finally, we can pour champagne over the entire thing.
Harry Craddock created the Gypsy girl, who worked at the Savoy Hotel in London. He named the cocktail after his wife, Gypsy Rose Lee.

Conclusion

There are different kinds of drinks out there. Some people enjoy drinking margaritas, while others prefer to sip on their favorite alcoholic beverages.
There are even some people who love mixing all sorts of different flavors. However, if you want to get the best experience possible, I recommend trying each tequila drink to appreciate what each flavor tastes like.

NOOB Mining LLC Day 37 update. 70kg barrier, lockpicking, mass training, making useless Holy cows useful, little girl Izumi's progress, getting ready to raid all Deadlands outposts,...

The CEO of Noob Mining LLC (i.e., me) was busy doing food shopping, drinking beer and playing chess on chess.com yesterday. I felt sorry for my crew. After 36 days, we successfully made 12 sets of leather armors allowing us to go to the Deadlands to raid all the labs and armories, hopefully on Day 38. Our archers in Squin are undergoing a serious weight lifting program to allow them to carry at least 35 kg. Griffin, our last recruit in Stack (cause he is too expensive) will soon be the first in our company to break the 70kg barrier. We have more than a dozen guys who can carry 55+kg. Izumi, the little daydreaming girl, can now run 24mph with the help of her sandals and is now able to carry almost 40kg. She will become one our of archer-fighters. Soon our team in Stoat will be travelling to Heft, Sho-Batai, and Bark to look for the bps that we want. They will then go back to Squin to join our main squad. By then the 12 of our Squin guys will finish their raid in Deadlands and return. Our pseudo base right in front of one of the gates in Squin now has 2 iron refineries III, 1 steel refinery, and 2 wind generators. Our weapon smith is now lvl 69. He needs more steel bars. Our secondary armor smith is now lvl 60. We are ready to upgrade our weapon bench to lvl II. The only issue is cloth. But as our permanent base in Squin will soon be built with at least a couple XL hemp farms, cloth is no longer a problem. By then, we will be making our first mk1 weapons. By the end of Day 50, we most likely will be making edge 1 and 2 weapons for all our 54 guys. Soto had 48 lockpicking that she strained in the Squin police office. But she needs to lvl up to 70 before going to Deadlands. The guards wouldn't allow her to get into a jail cell voluntarily, so she decided to stealth KO a guard. She was quick enough to get into a jail cage without being hit. Now, it is a matter of time before we hit all the iron spiders and model 30s and get all the stuff that we want in Deadlands.

2024.06.09 03:25 Kafka_at_Night Aged Rum Recommendation for 100 Year Old Cigar (Cocktail)

I’m generally a whiskey drinker and have limited experience with Rum. Recently I’ve fallen in love with a cocktail — 100 Year Old Cigar — that primarily features aged rum. The bars and restaurants near me that make it use Ron Zacapa 23, which I’ve come to learn contains lots of added sugar and is deceptively younger than stated. Any alternatives with a solid age statement and less (or preferably no) added sugar you’d recommend to use in the cocktail?
For those unfamiliar, the cocktail recipe is as follows:
1.5oz aged rum
.5oz cynar
.5oz Benedictine
.25oz Smokey scotch
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Absinthe rinse
Stir
Thanks!

2024.06.08 23:00 maladriel ISO Mocktails on the bitter/sugar free side

I'm currently developing a small (maybe 4-5) mocktail menu for the bar I work at. I've been sadly very inexperienced in making any mocktails outside of the basic sugary/fruit juice combinations and our budget is small so I'm unable to invest in a lot of zero spirits, shrubs, herbs, syrups, etc.
I do have a lot of Fee Brothers bitters, which are glycerin-based so they are safe to use in N/A drinks. I know I could do just a regular "bitters and soda" with them but are there any alternative recipes for something with more depth?
Bitters currently on hand are:
Aztec Chocolate Cherry Lemon Lime Mint "Old Fashioned" (similar to regular Angostura bitters) Orange
I also would be open to any recipes that have a low/no sugar build, maybe incorporating vinegars.
We also have: the usual sodas on gun (Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Club Soda, Tonic), bottled juices (Orange, Pineapple, Cranberry, Grapefruit), alternative sodas (Ginger ale, Ginger beer, Fresca, Mineragua), energy drinks (Red Bull, Monster original, Monster Zero white), Mixers (Bloody Mary, Coconut Cream, Syrups (Orgeat, regular simple, Savory/Vinegar Mixers (Olive juice, Pickle juice).
I might be getting some agave nectar in for zero margs, and possibly one other kind of fruit syrup (strawberry is my first choice). I'd also be able to brew teas if they are incorporated with a mocktail menu item.
I also would want to make drinks that don't require a lot of prep beforehand (special homemade syrups, infusions, etc.), can be made on the spot, and be fairly quick.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

2024.06.08 22:18 Hintek Calming Capital

Times have been tough recently, maybe you’ve been dealing with some bad luck, maybe your minds been beating you down extra bad lately, friend or family problems, whatever the reason, you’ve taken a walk. Honestly, it had helped a little, following the dirt path into the beauty of nature.
However there was a calling deep in the ground, you looked longingly into the soil, the insecurities within your mind fading out as you wandered ever closer.
In the distance you could see the object that created the calling. When you looked at it, only then and truly was your mind clear.

These spaces are only accessible to people close to you and will be closed off to any general human public.
The Building you saw was the -

Colourful Cottage - Getting closer and closer to the cottage you noticed a few things. The trees covered in beautiful chalk patterns, beautiful flowers in painted pots spread around the clearing. Directly in the centre of the clearing was a cute stone cottage, the walls contain beautiful murals and pieces of graffiti, just outside is an entire set of painting materials, from canvas to pastel.
The building itself includes a personal study, a bathroom, a storage that seems to fill itself with resources that run out. The insides contain much more of these artistic materials allowing for all forms of creation, including digital!
If you go past the Cottage you will find an array of woodland critters and many pathways to smaller clearings where you can sit and set up shop. These pathways have the artwork of many others, maybe you can make your mark here too. Anything you create here you can take back and rest assured whatever you do take back will not be lost or broken in the journey back.

Beach-side Bungalow - The clearing soon went from soil to sand, a wooden bungalow, the front of which looking out into the most beautiful blue beach. The pink sand, warm to the touch. A heavenly touch of the sun shining down. The waves rolling calmly.
The building itself includes a bedroom, tiki bar, dressing room with swim suits and other swimming related items, and a bathroom. Many drinks of all kinds line the shelves, as well as piles of exotic fruits that seemingly refuse to go bad.
Past the Bungalow is the beautiful beach. Chairs and towels line sections of the beach, along with umbrellas. On the left is a small fishing boat filled with all the essentials needed to go fishing. Fish of all kinds float in these waters, some would pay a fortune for some of these, you are very welcome to take all of your catches back.

Acorn Apartments - The clearing contained a large set, a small complex of apartments, eight doors in total, wandering to and fro into the forest was spirit like people. These people are the type you would only hear of in the Japanese tales of yokai, it made sense how the apartment complex was reminiscent of the ones you would see.
Your apartment is a small studio apartment as all the others are, of course taking on japanese architecture. There is a bathroom, space for what could be considered a lounge and bedroom, the kitchen is on the other side of this room. There is a communal bathhouse just beside the building, run by one of its residents.
The spirits are incredibly friendly and are welcome in becoming friends with the eighth resident of the complex. They are also comfortable to give the new human resident tasks that they can no longer partake in as spirits, in return they can give blessings or objects. Tasks like, go help this sweet sick old lady to learn the basics of a whole other language which may or may not be dead, the rewards could range from a teapot that makes any tea a soothing pot to a book that could import a term of classes in your head, very rare indeed. They will be very grateful and will not at all mind if you decline.

Twilight Treehouse - The clearing contains a huge tree as wide as a house and as tall as five entire stories. The branches could be considered walkways into other trees. In the trees floor of planks are filled with many kinds of furniture. Lanterns of large paper stars follow these pathways into the other areas around the trees.
There’s lots of space in these floors to look up to the stars. The tree includes an area filled with various powerful telescopes and cameras. A place where star-maps of thousands of years have been categorised from parchment to usb sticks. There are also tools of all kinds to record the night sky yourself. A gorgeous past-time and any map and record you create will be incredibly valuable to Astro-Based Researchers everywhere.
For some-reason whenever you’re here it’s always night. The stars move as if they have a mind of their own, comets fly frequently. But by a will you can make it stop. Create incredible constellations. The power of the night, controlled by a tree. As an added bonus during your starsign’s month, you could see as good as any telescope with your eyes alone.

Whole Wheat Windmill - The clearing instead leads into a beautiful field, other than dirt paths, wheat covers a huge area of the fields directly in the middle of the fields is a large dutch windmill connected to a small bakery. A cobblestone base, but everything is made heavily out of strong woods.
When walking inside you enter a waiting area first with tables and chairs, from this point you can see a countertop and past that is a large kitchen with old but incredibly productive cast iron ovens. There is a small bookshelf in this area filled with many recipes of pastries and baked goods. Past the kitchen is a small bedroom and kitchen.
And lastly, of course is the windmill. It is self working of course, however you’ll need to supply the wheat yourself. The fields will always be fertile, but you must still take the time to maintain them. This place is quite different on this list, as people will be allowed to come by and buy baked goods, this will lead to a steady and above average income, only getting better as your baking skills get better.

Mix’n’Match Mentality - A special offer for those who really need the calming sensation, or those who can’t make a decision on just one. Instead take two of the choices and fuse them, put in the comments what you create.

Life can be tough sometimes! Hydrate, think and recuperate! Humans can be allowed to rest. Have a lovely time-zone!

2024.06.08 22:10 Samwich_Ganja DREAMLIGHT VALLEY IMPROVEMENT IDEAS

This is a comprehensive list of what I believe to be the most needed quality of life improvements for the players that still maintains the developers intended gameplay balance. If anyone has ideas of things to add, remove, or change to this list, sound off in the comments. I am not affiliated with Game Loft in any way and have no sway over their decisions, but maybe we can all make our voices heard and let them know what we want moving forward (after the latest bugs and crashes are fixed of course).
General Gameplay
  1. Not requiring villagers to be in your current area (valley/isle) in order to get their profession bonus
  2. Increase the surface area of tables (4 square tables shouldn't have a 1 square tabletop considering that the top is the widest part of most tables)
  3. No more limit on how many mannequins can be placed in a single room and the ability to place them outside
  4. Add a recycle function for all crafted items that costs dreamlight/star coins and gives you all your resources back, or is free but only partially refunds resources.
  5. Critter and villager schedules should be tied to an in game clock so people with fixed schedules don't lose access to certain characters/critters
  6. Every week should have a new quest that can earn you a furniture/wardrobe item so people who can't afford moonstones have a reason to log on every week (and give people who have finished all the quests ways to continue interacting with the villagers)
  7. Add a job board that allows you to assign villagers to gather one selected resource for you related to their profession (1 villager at a time per profession, the more valuable the resource you choose the longer it takes to generate it, can only gather up to a certain amount that depends on item value, can only gather resources related to their profession, and the items won't count toward your duties)
  8. Add a friendship level to all unlocked critter companions that can be increased by equipping, petting, playing with(with the play wheel or other critter toys), and feeding them (with food bowls). The levels of this friendship will unlock new features like the ability to gather items around you (as long as they are still highlighted blue), and place/pose them for all stances in photo mode (not just the critter stance); this would also apply to critters in companion homes, not just ones equipped in the wardrobe menu
  9. If a player is in range to interact with anything that isn't their critter, prioritize that over petting their critter
  10. All furniture with an animation should cycle indefinitely until toggled off by the player (especially fireworks)
  11. Give Daisy's challenges the same reset schedule as Scrooges shop instead of a 24 hour timer
  12. Allow feeding critters to count towards dreamlight duties even if you have already fed them that day
  13. No repeat memories.
  14. Alternative to no repeat memories is to have the repeats go into your inventory so that you can trade them with other players to help each other complete them
  15. You shouldn't be able to get nothing or a trivial amount of star coins from digging. Every time you dig you should get 1-3 resources or a small chance for a chest
  16. Add an option to switch off bonuses in the bonus menu (ex. you want to fish from white ripples or mine a gem vein when you're saving your pickaxe charges for stone or iron)
  17. Add an FOV (Field of view) Slider in the options menu
  18. Allow us to visually change the weather like the time of day (ex. make it rain without watering our crops for free or being able to catch fugu) and add a weather icon in the HUD so we know when it's actually raining even if we have rain turned off or fake rain turned on (HUD is only changed if we have manually changed the weather visuals)
  19. Allow skin color to be applied individually to our male and female avatars like every other aesthetic aspect in the wardrobe section
  20. Allow us to remove villager houses from the valley or make the valley bigger by expanding biomes or adding new ones. It has to happen eventually because you can't have infinite growth in a finite world (you would still have to place their house somewhere if you wanted to spawn them in to hang out or do their quests)
  21. Alternatively you could add a hotel run by some Disney/Pixar character (My vote is Snow White as the owner with the 7 dwarves as staff). You can upgrade the hotel to increase its capacity up to 10-20 rooms. You would then be allowed to remove up to that many houses, moving the occupants to the hotel. But you would first need to do a quest for every household that requires you to decorate a hotel room themed towards the house. You would be required to meet tag requirements that match the house such as traits that it has and the Disney universe it's from so the occupants feel at home (similar to Daisy's boutique challenge) IDEA CREDIT GOES TO USER - Euraylie
  22. Allow players to reskin villager houses. Adding more ways for us to blend them with our valley builds IDEA CREDIT GOES TO USER - Noggindrilln
  23. Save makeup to a mannequin along with clothes when editing it so we don't have to manually change our makeup every time we change our outfit
  24. Allow us to visually change large chests into other storage items we have unlocked, including TOM items (to allow players to make more creative and aesthetically pleasing storage areas)
  25. Stop making non quest items unsellable. They take up valuable space in your storage (ex. night shards, training manuals, etc.)
  26. Pathing fill button. Much like how we can hold a button to delete all connected pathing, we should be able to make a pathing outline and hold a button while selecting one of the outer pathing to completely fill the inner area
  27. Make smart transfer completely fill all stacks inside storage while leaving the remainder in your inventory (ex. don't leave a stack of 50 of an item in your inventory just because the storage can only hold 20 more. Put 20 in and leave 30 so we don't have to manually split the stack every time)
  28. Add a smart withdraw button so that you can transfer all items from storage that are already in your inventory
  29. Allow pathing to be placed 1 square at a time to allow closer placement to the edges of biomes and bodies of water
  30. Make craftable hedges that can be placed and extended like fences for custom sizing. Adding harvestable leaves that change with the real life seasons (Light green & flowery - spring, dark green - summer, Red/Yellow/Orange - autumn, snowy pine needles - winter) that can be used to craft the hedges along with wood and soil IDEA CREDIT GOES TO USER - Literary_Lady
  31. Craftable bird nests that can be placed in trees and hedges for your flying critters IDEA CREDIT GOES TO USER - Literary_Lady
  32. Allow players to flip the orientation of objects (ex. Assymetrical objects like the L-counters can be rotated, but the crook of the "L" always faces the same relative direction)
  33. Add a buyback function to Goofy's stall that allows you to buy back anything you may have sold accidentally within a certain time or item amount window
UI
  1. Add submenus for colors and patterns so you don't have a bunch of retextures clogging up your wardrobe and furniture menus (ex. You click on foodie loafers in your shoes and then a dropdown menu appears where you pick the color you want)
  2. Add sort functions (alphabetical, newest, oldest, etc.) and search baalphabetical section index (the side bar with the clickable letters that bring you to that letter) for all shop/furniture/wardrobe/cooking/crafting menus IDEA CREDIT GOES TO USER - NotSoEvilQueen for the section index
  3. Add furniture categories (ex. lighting, decor, etc.) for the furniture section of the crafting bench
  4. Show all tags for selected items regardless of whether or not you are in the dreamsnap category (this includes scrooges shop and crafting menu)
  5. Have all selected filter tags sorted the same way the dreamsnap section is (items with the most matching tags at top and fewest at the bottom instead of only items that match all selected tags)
  6. Add 2 item counts for selected items in the crafting bench menu (1 for items in your inventory/storage and 1 for items placed in your valley) so you know how many items you already have before making more
  7. Reset the crafting menu to the item you just crafted after crafting instead of auto scrolling back to the top
  8. All items that show up as pathing and fences in your furniture menu should also show up in that category at a crafting table (ex. bumblestone fences, zircon tiles, etc.)
  9. Have the back button hide the currently selected item in the shop and crafting menus instead of taking us out of the menu entirely (ex. when you select an item, it brings up a window on the right for that item. You can change the item by selecting a different one, but the only way to remove the window is to exit the menu altogether and reenter it without selecting an item)
  10. Add a dropdown menu for all trees and underbrush that have multiple variations so you can actually select which one you want to place
  11. Add a menu for selecting which memory to put on a frame/TV to replace the repetetive toggle
  12. Add a button that you can press in furniture mode while your cursor is over an item that takes you to the item in your inventory so you can quickly add copies of an item you've already placed
Cooking
  1. Add a section for restaurant orders in the cooking menu (only available when cooking in Chez Remy)
  2. Add an option to turn off cooking/meal animations to make cooking faster
  3. Allow us to select recipes from our history so we can autofill multiple copies of a dish with specific ingredients we've already used without having to manually select specific ingredients every time
  4. Add a toggle near the autofill button to use the most valuable non specified ingredients instead of the least valuable when auto filling (when cooking with the purpose of selling)
  5. Add an item counter so you know how many of a particular meal you already have in your inventory/storage before you make it
  6. Widen the cooking pot so that some of the longer food items don't get stuck at the top of the pot if dropped directly into the center (PC only)
  7. Classify almonds as dairy/oil like peanuts are instead of as a fruit
  8. Organize the "all meals" tab alphbetically (there are already tabs for each meal type, so the "all meals" tab doesn't need to be organized by meal type as well) IDEA CREDIT GOES TO USER - NotSoEvilQueen
Touch of Magic
  1. Every "Basic" item should have its own 50-100 TOM limit instead of having 50 for wardrobe and for furniture respectively. When entering the customize menu, you then have to select one of the basic items which takes you to a submenu where you can choose from your designs or a plus icon that you can select to create a new design for that particular item
  2. Remove the limit to how small and increase the limit of how large you can scale motifs
  3. Add the ability to scale length and width of motifs separately
  4. Remove the layer limit in TOM or at least increase it to 100
  5. Allow you to purchase TOM furniture from Scrooge with star coins, or make them craftable with resources, after you have purchased them from Daisy
  6. Add sign posts/billboards to daisy's shop
  7. Allow us to display multiple TOM items on a single mannequin. Or at least put generic clothes on the uncovered areas so I don't have a pantsless guy advertising my shirts
Photo/Dreamsnaps
  1. Add a dialogue option to any character (must be level 10 friendship with completed main friendship questline) you're hanging out with to get them to stand still and stop following you. Then when they are in this mode you can talk to them again to return them to normal function or select one of their poses or animations. Because they are also considered as no longer following you, you can do this with multiple characters to set up intricate dreamsnap scenarios
  2. Illumination radius for all lighting fixtures should be increased to make night shots more viable (and to generally improve the night time atmosphere)
  3. Allow players to hold tools in pictures (give people an incentive to purchase tools from premium shop)
  4. Have all TOM items disappear when you are in photo mode so they don't disqualify your dreamsnap attempt if you're not aware they're in frame
  5. Alternatively just allow TOM in dreamsnaps. If you can share them in Daisy's shop, why not in dreamsnaps
  6. Add a quest from Vanellope that gives you access to a virtual valley. You access it through a portal or computer and it brings you to an empty valley (no furniture, buildings, trees, etc.) so that you can set up outdoor dreamsnaps in it without destroying sections of your valley just to have to rebuild them again. You can't get resources in this valley and it resets every week for the new dreamsnap. All furniture is returned to your inventory, but any inventory items you may have placed would remain (all items placed on tables would be moved to the ground). There would also be an extra category in the furniture menu for spawning virtual villagers (only up to 1 of each villager you have unlocked)
  7. Get rid of outfit challenges. Having tag requirements for your outfit makes it difficult to craft an outfit that looks good and fits the theme for the week. Plus everybody already puts together an outfit to match the decor challenge and most people add decor to match the outfit challenge anyway. Just have tags for decor and outfits both apply to the current challenge
  8. Game Loft needs to be clear on exactly how tags and votes affect our score so we know how much we need to prioritize having a lot of tags over making a bettecleaner image to garner votes with.
  9. Increase the voting moonstones to 10-25 a day instead of 50 a week to incentivize more voting and daily log ins
  10. Add a 10-15 second timer to votes so people don't just vote randomly and actually have a reason to analyze each photo (would also benefit complex submissions that aren't easy to digest in 1 second and reward players for putting in more effort)
  11. Prevent NPC dialogue boxes from opening up while you're in photo mode
  12. Add a toggle when riding attractions to make them visible/invisible in photo mode
  13. Remove blinking from all player, critter, and NPC stances in photo mode
Online/Multiplayer
  1. Add the ability to interact with all ancient machines instead of just the cooker
  2. Multiplayer dreamsnaps (Dreamsnaps can still only be submitted by host to disallow multiple people submitting the same dreamsnap). Outfit tags from guest players will not contribute to the host's tag count
  3. Host player can still access furniture menu
  4. All players should be able to talk to villagers and do quests
  5. Allow all players to enter the host's house so we can give house tours as well as valley tours
  6. Allow fast travel
  7. Allow us to feed critters in other players valley without counting towards the hosts daily feeding limit
  8. Allow players to remove the Multiplayer hub if they don't want it or add the functions of the hub to the plaza well since it is a permanent fixture, and it is already how every other character enters your valley anyway
  9. Allow scramblecoin requests between players
DLC
  1. Add an "Excavator" to the ancient machines in the timbending table that can remove respawning clutter (holes, rocks, mushrooms, etc.) and give you the resources.
  2. No limit on how many ancient gardeners can be placed in one biome at a time
  3. Give auto cookers and gardeners the ability to generate memories
  4. Give the trolley tracks a function by letting the trolley move along them (so long as the track it's on is a closed loop) and maybe even add a train down the line. And give players the ability to ride them like the attractions.
  5. Allow us to move or turn off the timebending orbs that spawn across the isle and valley
  6. Add a coin flip to scramblecoin to determine who goes first (shake up the strategy meta a little)
  7. Increase scramblecoin rounds to 6 or have gold coins start spawning on round 3
  8. Allow players to dismantle timebending resources directly from our storage instead of requiring them to be in our inventory
  9. Allow players to select seeds from our storage while interacting with an ancient gardener instead of requiring them to be in our inventory

2024.06.08 18:35 latebutstillearly1 The Papaya Lovers' Forum (r/NoSleep Reupload)

The Papaya Lovers' Forum (NoSleep Reupload)
A few years ago, I stumbled across a lesser known forum similar to Reddit, that contained niche sub-forums for users who shared similar interests. The site was taken down shortly after I discovered it, and is still down to this day.
Looking back at my experience with one sub-forum, I can guess why.
I had just graduated college and was job hunting, still living in my parents' house. It was a pretty lonely time - most of my friends had moved away for work, and trying to make friends as an adult was hard in my area. I stumbled across an ad for the site, which said something about group meetups for locals with similar interests, so I clicked on it and started browsing. The site was split into sub-forums based on different interests, including politics, news, anime, cars, etc. Most of these sub-forums had a meetup thread where posters would arrange to meet IRL at bars or other public places. I didn't have much interest in most of those topics, but liked the idea of meeting a group of people just to hang out and have something to talk about.
One of the biggest sub-forums on the site was the 'Papaya Lovers' forum' with over 50K active members, which I found intriguing. For such a large sub-forum, it was in a very obscure part of the site and wasn't linked at the homepage. I had to scroll through most of the other forums and click a link in one thread to get to it. Out of all things, I had no idea papayas had such a large proportional fanbase. Taking a quick scroll through the threads, there were all sorts of papaya related posts.
'How to grow papayas anywhere you live - a complete guide.'
'Ten creative papaya recipes you've got to try.'
'Growing your first papaya for beginners.'
There was also a thread with details for a local Papaya lovers' meetup around half an hour's drive away from my place happening that next weekend. The schedule on the site showed how many were attending - twenty people, more than any other meetup thread on the other site sub-forums I'd come across.
I'd eaten a few papayas in my time, and they were alright - I'd rather talk about papayas than politics, I supposed. I registered for the meetup, hoping to have a chill social experience. I shot a message to the host, whose name was Ben, and he replied in a friendly manner.
'Hey man, is this meet open to new people?'
'Hey, you're totally welcome, we meet new members all the time. There'll be drinks and snacks at the bar. Can't wait to see you there!'
I set out that Saturday morning, and arrived at a nice looking bar at the other end of the city. Upon entering, I recognized Ben immediately at the other end, and went to greet him. He was talking to a group of about six people, with a few others talking in smaller groups next to them. Some had drinks in hand, and there was a pretty equal split of men and women, some in their twenties and others middle aged. There were a few much older folks too, again a fairly even distribution when it came to ages.
"Hey! Come join, here, have some cheese twirls," he said warmly, holding up a basket of them.
"Thanks, hey everyone, I'm Ross," I said, as I took one from the basket. Some people standing in the circle smiled at me, and said 'hey' back. I already felt the energy was friendly enough to crack a joke.
"Those cheese things are great, but where are the papaya slices?"
The strangers around me burst out laughing immediately, some hysterically. One woman put her hand over her mouth as she smiled, as if she'd just heard the most controversial joke ever. Ben scoffed and patted me on the back, shaking his head.
"Could you imagine? Good one, new guy."
I was a little taken aback by the over-the-top reception, but appreciated it. We introduced each other, made some small talk about family, work and whatnot. I felt comfortable, and it was all very ordinary conversation at first. Then we got to talking about papayas.
"I've been having some trouble growing 'em lately," said one lady.
"Yeah, it's always difficult," replied another. "Just gotta keep trying and they'll come eventually."
"Nah, you've just gotta know the right technique," said Ben. "Removing the seeds is the real hard part."
"Yeah," I chimed in, "I swallowed some once, they're really bitter."
Everyone suddenly stopped talking and looked at me. Even Ben turned towards me with a quizzical expression. Then some of them looked at each other. Had I said something wrong?
"It's, uh, surprising you can even grow them in this weather," I said.
It didn't help. They all kept staring at me, even more wide eyed. Suddenly it had gotten extremely awkward, and I had no idea why.
"Why is it surprising?" Asked Ben.
"Don't you need like, hot weather to grow them properly?" I asked, confused.
"Ah." Ben raised his eyebrows, then looked away. Two women in the circle sniggered to each other, and an old guy muttered something to a woman next to him under his breath. My face flushed red, my heart rate growing faster. I had no idea what I said, but it changed the mood completely.
"Anyways, let's change the subject. Anyone got any vacation plans?" Ben continued, after what seemed like the longest silence.
They talked about their vacation plans and other mundane stuff. I didn't speak for the rest of the night, and left feeling extremely awkward and outcast, but most of all confused. What had I said that was so controversial or offensive to ruin the atmosphere? Anyhow, I knew I'd never be going to that meetup again.
That night, I went home and took a look again at the sub-forum threads. Just the same over-enthusiastic titles about papayas. I clicked on the one titled 'Growing your first papaya for beginners'.
'Growing your first papaya for beginners. A short guide by Jacqueline C.
This is no easy feat. I remember when I grew my first, I almost got caught. I know many of you will have had a similar experience, so this guide is for all of you that are apprehensive. Don't give up, and to motivate you, just think about how sweet victory will taste.
Picking a location where there aren't many other papayas around is key. It may seem obvious, but if you mess this one up, you'll stand no chance of success. Do some research on the one you're trying to grow - it shouldn't be very well known. Once you've identified the one, timing is crucial. Always take it somewhere where you are in control to start preparing it. If it doesn't work out first go, leave it be and don't keep trying. It's too risky.
Once you've grown the papaya in a secure location, you're halfway there. Clean the area where you grew it and the area you will be storing it in your home thoroughly to avoid contamination and detection. Wear gloves throughout. First cutting it into many pieces is key. There are many options for preparation tools that I have covered in a separate article, but anything large and well sharpened will do. Make sure to skin it and remove the seeds, and burn or dissolve them - this is key to avoid risk. Try to do this in a contained area, as they go off quickly during preparation. If the smell is too intense, you can use essential oils to mask it. Tape the gaps in your doors and windows. If it leaks juices during preparation, soaking surfaces it has leaked onto using vinegar can also help reduce the odors. Cook all pieces thoroughly to avoid diseases, and store uneaten pieces in the freezer. These tips should help you grow your very first, but they take practice and it'll get easier with time.
If anyone should come looking for it, do not admit to growing the papaya, ever. It's on them to prove anything, and if you've chosen the right one to grow, it should be difficult for them.
And finally remember, growing your first papaya can be a daunting process, but many people in our community grow and enjoy them successfully every day without trouble. If you learn the right steps, there's no reason you can't too. To learn more about how to choose the right papaya to grow and which ones to avoid, check out my last article.'
I was starting to get an idea of why I had embarrassed myself earlier that night. One thing was for sure - whatever they were talking about, it was not papayas. I clicked on the link to the last article at the end of the page, but the website crashed. When I refreshed it, an error message popped up along with a notice.
'This forum is no longer available on this site, as a result of a very recent incident. IYKYK. You can access us again through the Tor browser via search.'
I didn't know what that message meant, or what 'recent incident' they were referring to, but figured something had taken them down. The site is still down, and doesn't show that message anymore - just an unregistered domain.
If it wasn't obvious from the article, then yes, I have a high suspicion 'growing papayas' was code for kidnapping people and eating them. No wonder they got taken down. I don't know if it was all one massive joke, but from that meetup, those conversations seemed serious enough, and it's pretty terrifying to think about possibly having been in a room full of cannibals, or wannabe cannibals. If that really was the case, then I'm glad I survived to tell the tale.
And I'm just glad the site's gone for good now.

2024.06.08 18:09 girlie_sparrow Best food for energy

TLDR: The sand worm carpaccio plate has the perfect amount of energy to fill the yellow bar. (3,004)
Ok hear me out. I did a ton of research and experimentation with meals trying to find one with the perfect amount of energy to fill my yellow bat without having to eat multiple or wasting blue energy, that way as soon as I run out of yellow energy I can immediately refill it without having to be slow or less lucky for a bit.
I tried various recipes and played around with ingredient qualities and quantities before coming across the perfect meal, and it's only 2 ingredients.
First off, the blue bar holds max 2000 energy and the yellow bar holds max 3000.
The meal I found was the perfect fit was the sand worm carpaccio plate. It's made of just one melon and one sand worm (collected from red bubbles in the sand ponds on eternity isle)
The meal has 3,004 points of energy.
I will do some further research and find a perfect meal for people without the DLC too but this is the meal I use consistently.
It's amazing bc you can take a fishing buddy and an even more miraculous fishing potion and just totally stock up on sand worms then take a gardening buddy and totally stock up on melons and then you're fully set for a long while.

2024.06.08 17:35 iamkingsleyf 20 Different Types of Taco Meat

Nowadays, there are so many different types of taco meat; dont assume that we have a few different kinds of taco meat.
There are also plenty of exciting and delicious ways to make taco meat. That even the most seasoned of taco veterans might not have tried yet.
Please read about the different types of taco meat you didn't know you were missing out on and how you can use them to make some extra-extraordinary tacos at home.

Tacos de Canasta

Like tacos al pastor, tacos de canasta are wrapped in serapes (blankets) instead of tortillas. These are often sold from large baskets that hold corn and flour tortillas in Mexico.
Also, Canasta refers to a basket used for carrying things—which makes sense. Tacos de Canasta; these different types of taco meat also come with plenty of extras: onions, cilantro, and salsa, As well as chile Arbol or guajillo peppers which give them a little kick.

Nopales Tacos

You're probably more familiar with nopales as a garnish or salsa, but they're also used in tacos. To make them, you can saute ́ or roast fresh nopales with different types of taco meat ingredients before adding them to a tortilla.
In addition, the texture is similar to green beans. This gives these tacos a slightly crunchy taste and makes them stand out from your typical ground beef tacos.
Nopales are low in calories but high in fiber and vitamin C; keep that in mind when searching for different types of taco meat.

Cochinita Pibil

Pibil is cooked in an underground oven in Yucatec Maya, precisely how cochinita pibil is made. Achiote paste, a spice mix with bright red color and earthy flavor from annatto seeds, is rubbed into pork before marinating with citrus juices and other herbs.
Then it's wrapped in banana leaves before being cooked over hot stones underground. The meat comes out tender, flavorful, and slightly sweet more than other different types of taco meat.

Tacos de Papa

The next on our list of different types of taco meat is Tacos de papa. A staple taco is filling in many Latin American countries and Mexico is called tacos de papas (tacos with potatoes).
It can be made with chicken, beef, or pork and is typically seasoned with cumin. Also, Tacos de papas are often served topped with grated cheese.
If you're looking for something spicy, these are your tacos! The traditional side dish for tacos de papas is guacamole. Use avocado as a substitute for sour cream to cut calories if desired.

Chorizo Tacos

Chorizo–is another type of taco meat that can be sold dried or fresh and can be made from either pork or beef. The most common way to use chorizo is in tacos. But it also adds great flavor to rice, beans, and other Mexican dishes.
In addition, To make authentic-tasting chorizo at home: Sauté 1 pound of ground pork with one diced onion (finely chopped), three cloves minced garlic, two teaspoons ground cumin, one teaspoon kosher salt, and 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper.
Also, Cook until lightly browned (about 8 minutes). Remove from heat and mix in 1⁄2 cup dry red wine and 1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder. Allow the meat mixture to cool before using it in tacos.

Campechanos

As its name implies, campechanos tacos are a blend of traditional pork carnitas and beef Asada. Campechanos is also one of the different types of taco meat.
It is usually served with salsa verde to give it some spice, chopped onions, and cilantro. Campechanos originated in Mexico City, but they have since spread throughout other areas in Mexico and across borders into Texas.
In addition, these tacos are typically small and spicy so that people can enjoy them quickly—after all; you don't want your fillings to get cold! They're often sold at food trucks or street vendors.

Carnitas

Carnitas are seasoned, slow-cooked pork traditionally served in tacos or tortas. However, when you start making carnitas at home, you can use them for breakfast burritos, quesadillas, and even sandwiches.
For example, once you cook a batch of carnitas, it only takes a few minutes to assemble a delicious taco bar that everyone in your family will love. In addition to carnitas meat being versatile enough to be used in multiple dishes, they're super easy to make.
Meanwhile, carnitas is one of the most famous of the different types of taco meat we have. Because the roasting process is simple (no special equipment is needed), and there are countless ways you can season your carnitas depending on what you have on hand. Let your imagination run wild!

Tacos Al Pastor

If you love Mexican food, you've had a taco or two in your life. The classic taco is made with either chicken or beef, folded into a warm tortilla, and topped with salsa and cilantro.
But there's another type of taco that only experienced taco connoisseurs know about—Tacos Al Pastor. These tacos are also filled with beef or pork but have different flavors.
Topped with pineapple chunks, onion, and cilantro, these tacos are brought to life by a searingly spicy adobo-marinated pork (though you can use any meat here).
Some places will even slather their homemade hot sauce for an extra kick. What better way to experience authentic Mexican cuisine than with Tacos Al Pastor?

Tacos de Pescado

The flaky, white fish is often served battered and fried and then topped with shredded cabbage, chipotle mayo, and pico de gallo. In most places in Mexico, you'll find that any taco with de Pescado is made using Tilapia.
However, you can use whatever fresh or frozen white fish you have on hand at home for a similar experience.
Make tacos de once to impress dinner guests at your next get-together. Continue reading as we give you more and more different types of taco meat.

Birria

Birria is a traditional Mexican dish that features a whole lamb or goat cooked in an aromatic broth until tender.
Tacos de birria are not everywhere, and when they are, they're often served on tacos with big chunks of meat. Also, they are topped with cilantro, onion, and slices of radish.
Typically, Tacos de birria are spicy and carry a distinctly gamey flavor that may be off-putting to some. If you're looking for different types of taco meat with something super unique, try these tacos out—but don't expect it to become your new go-to taco filling.

Barbacoa

This Mexican specialty is made with a whole lamb, goat, or sheep slowly cooked over a low fire and then wrapped in maguey leaves.
Barbacoa is usually served on weekends because it takes so long to cook, but we say it's worth it. As another bonus, barbacoa is often cooked in its fat instead of lard or oil, unlike other different types of taco meat.
When you order barbacoa tacos at your favorite taqueria, ask them how they prepare their meat—because traditional recipes may call for more than what you see on the menu.

Shrimp Tacos

Shrimp can sometimes be found in different meat, but it's a more commonly used topping. Cooked shrimp is delicious on top of tacos made with soft tortillas and traditional taco toppings like shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. Add a squeeze of lime juice and some spicy sauce for an extra kick.
Try pairing shrimp with a seafood-based taco filling like clam or fish for another unique seafood twist. This is among the different taco meat types typically served in corn tortillas topped with shredded cabbage.

Carne Asada

While carne asada translates to grilled meat, it's typically seared over high heat or grilled quickly. Many restaurants feature an array of Mexican steaks, such as skirt steak and flank steak.
But these cuts are just as good for carne asada, which is essentially a slice of different types of taco meat seasoned with salt and pepper before being cooked.
In addition, Traditional carne asada recipes call for marinating your steak first in citrus juices or other seasonings, then cooking it until it's browned on each side (the whole process takes about 15 minutes).
Carne Asada can be prepared on a stovetop or in a grill pan; if you have neither handy, pan-searing and oven roasting work well too. It also tastes excellent piled high atop a salad!

Cabeza

This particular variety uses cow's head meat, which you might be surprised to learn has a milder flavor than you might think.
If you want to taste different types of taco meat or something a little more adventurous, Cabeza tacos are an excellent place to start. Learning how to make your tacos at home is a great way to control what goes into them.
And again, it can help bring you closer with your friends and family over a delicious meal. Who knows? Maybe taco night will become your new favorite tradition. Feel free to spice things up even further by adding some bacon lardons and crispy potatoes!

Cecina Tacos

Like steak tartare, cecina is a popular taco filling found in Baja California and Michoacán. However, unlike steak tartare, cecina is made with beef or pork scraps (the beef version is particularly delicious).
They are among the different types of taco meat mixed with lime juice. Also, chile peppers and a blend of herbs and spices are called petitory.
In both regions, it's usually served atop handmade corn tortillas with diced onion and cilantro. It needs no cheese or tomatoes. It's an acquired taste—my first bite was jarring.
If you can get over that initial hurdle, you'll be rewarded with some super flavorful tacos.

Mixiote Tacos

If you're searching for a new taco filling for Cinco de Mayo or to spice up your taco Tuesday, give Mixiote Tacos a try. This class of different types of taco meat is wrapped in maguey leaves and steamed until tender.
So, what's great about these tacos? They are filled with corn and potatoes as well. You are making them hearty and flavorful. If you want to make some authentic Mixiote Tacos at home, head to Traditional Mexican Cooking for their step-by-step recipe!

Suadero Tacos

Suadero translates to marbled beef in Spanish, which you're getting with suadero tacos. Marbling results from fat throughout an otherwise lean cut of meat.
Suadero, like other different types of taco meat, is a tender cut. This is because it comes from under or around the cow's kidney.
Typically it is made into stewed or braised meat dishes in Mexico. You can also eat it as taco meat, which some chefs in Texas are doing. The trick is how you treat it.
While that marbling means extra deliciousness when prepared right, brutal treatment will result in dry, stringy suadero tacos.

Bistec Tacos

Just like it sounds, these tacos are stuffed with beef and taste best with salsa. If you're trying to limit your consumption of red meat, it might be wise to avoid bistec tacos altogether.
But bistec is a taco lover's dream come true for beef lovers. It's typically not as salty as many other taco types of meat and has a distinct yet smooth flavor.
While eating such a filling taco can leave you feeling quite full afterward. It doesn't contain a lot of extra greases that will keep you bloated or feel nauseous afterward.
Enjoying such a meal is likely to boost your energy levels to stay productive throughout your day without feeling tired by mid-afternoon.

Lechon Tacos

Lechon is a dish that consists of pork that has been roasted in a banana leaf. Typically, Lechon is made for special occasions such as weddings and holidays.
However, there are some areas where it is common to eat Lechon every day. If you visit Cuba or Puerto Rico, you will find many establishments serving dishes made with Lechon.
It has become a staple on almost every menu in these countries. Although Lechon is not widely consumed in Mexico, some restaurants will have it as an option for special orders.
There are different types of taco meat, and each one offers its distinct flavor. Chicken is to make these tacos if you prefer something lighter than traditional pork tacoⁿs.

Arrachera Tacos

Different types of taco meat include the Arrachera taco, also known as a steak taco. It is made with strips of beef skirt steak that have been marinated in an ancho chile-based sauce.
The meat is grilled and then chopped into bite-sized pieces, often served on their own or with some additional garnishes for presentation.
Also, It's a pretty basic dish that does not require any additional add-ons beyond cilantro and onions. Tacos de arracheras are common across Mexico, and both red and dark meat versions can be found throughout all regions.
Conclusion
There are taco experts, and then there are taco amateurs. Some people would argue that tacos are nothing more than a vehicle for ground beef, melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.
But there's so much more to be said about what is perhaps Mexico's most famous food. Today we want to get you up to speed on all of the different types of taco meat. You can make them at home and provide some recipes for each one. We hope it makes your next Taco Tuesday even better!

Consider offering your guests shots when you need to spice up your party, whether you provide them one at a time or as part of a game.
There are different types of shot drinks for you to choose from, guaranteed to get the party started. Here are different types of shot drinks you can serve at your next gathering!

Pina Colada

If you're looking for something fruity and fun, this type of shot drink is hard to beat. A traditional pina colada uses white rum, pineapple juice, and coconut cream, and it can be served in a coconut or pineapple-shaped glass as a bonus.
Pro tip: Skip ice if you want your frozen drink to be slightly diluted (we're not judging). You can opt for equal parts alcohol and liquid ingredients. Serve in cocktail glasses rimmed with sugar or salt.
Whether you like your tropical smooth or on the rocks, we think you'll love our take on one of the summer's most popular shots—but don't take our word for it!

Strawberry Daiquiri

Start your party off with a fun drink everyone will love. This type of shot drink is excellent for every occasion, and it's also a simple drink that everyone can make. It's perfect for summertime or when you have friends over at home.
You can also add different fruits, like blueberries if you want something even tastier. To get started making your own Strawberry Daiquiri. Take one part white rum and two parts sugar syrup (equal parts sugar and water).
Fresh strawberries and shaved ice in a cocktail shaker with a few dashes of lime juice will also be added. Shake up your mixture and pour over more ice in a rock glass before serving. You can get your different types of hot drinks as simple as that!

Classic Jagermeister

You may have had a few different types of hot drinks back in college, like Jager bombs. But you're likely going to want something more elegant than Red Bull and blue curacao once you reach adulthood. This type of shot drink is as simple as it gets.
Drop a sugar cube into your jager and let it dissolve. For an extra kick, light your jager on fire before drinking; (Nb: avoid doing shots if you plan on driving.)

Singapore Sling

This traditional drink is made with cherry brandy, Benedictine, and gin. It originated in Raffles Hotel Singapore during a period of British colonial rule. This shot drink was initially invented as a hangover cure, unlike the other different types of hot beverages.
The drinks' cherries came from Sir Stamford Raffles, founder of Singapore, and he brought them back from Malacca (Malaysia), where they are native.
However, his original recipe for it has been lost. If you know your history, please put that information into context. Thanks!

Bazooka Joe

A Banana, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream are served with a gumball (Also known as Bananarama). A shooter shot with 1/2 oz Banana Liqueur, and 1/2 oz White Crème de Cacao. With two scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream. Shooters should be enjoyed responsibly and in moderation.
It will get you moving for sure! You can consume these shot drinks that are best consumed while playing twister on your living room floor!

Jack and Coke

As America's favorite whiskey and soda, Jack and Coke is one shot that's sure to please. Suppose you like your drinks a little on the sweet side. You can try adding a few extra ounces of cola (which also lightens it up).
It doesn't have quite as strong a bite as some other options. If you're trying out different types of hot drinks for the first time, this could be a good starter. For a bonus, make sure you don't add ice—the lack of dilution makes it more robust than it looks!
Finally, take it up another notch without watering down your drink too much. You can consider adding an ounce or two of 151-proof rum.

Shamrock

It is a traditional shot drink, usually done for St. Patrick's Day. It is a combination of Midori Melon Liqueur and Bailey's Irish Cream.
One-third Midori, one-third Bailey's, and one-third Green Crème de Menthe, or Grenadine (sweet syrup) are poured into a shot glass.
The name comes from how you must shake it before drinking it: shamrock. These different types of shot drink colors are unique, and it's green on top, white in the middle, and red on the bottom.

PB&J (Shaken Shot)

2 oz. Chocolate Liqueur, 2 oz. Peanut Butter Liqueur, 3 oz. Orange Juice, Ice, and Whipped Cream for garnish. Use a shaker and blender with ice.
You blend all ingredients until smooth before pouring them into shot glasses. Then rim your glass with peanut butter and sugar.
And turning it upside down in an orange juice glass to dip gives it a fantastic taste. Also called a Wham Bam or a Bam Bam! This is an excellent different type of hot drink.
It tastes like you spent hours making it (which you did) but takes only seconds to prepare!

Spicy Pineapple Shot

This type of shot drink is as good for you as delicious, unlike many other different types of hot drinks. Served in a small glass, add just a splash of Bacardi 151-proof rum and fill it with pineapple juice.
Then top it with fresh slices of jalapeno pepper. Be careful – you can't taste precisely how spicy they are! Warning: The natural heat here comes from both ends, first in your mouth with that hot pepper flavor and then – surprise! — at the end, you get a little burn from all that liquor.

Blue Kamikaze

This type of shot drink is made by mixing one part vodka, 1 part blue curacao, and two parts sweet and sour mix. Pour ingredients over ice cubes in a shot glass—drop shot into a collins glass filled with beer and serve.

Young Puss

11⁄2 ounces peach schnapps, 1⁄2 ounce melon liqueur. One tablespoon orange juice, dash grenadine syrup. Shake with ice; strain into a shot glass, and serve chilled.

Merry Gorilla

Two-ounce banana-flavored rum, 1⁄4 ounce coconut-flavored rum (or 1⁄2 ounce dark rum). Also, one scoop of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, 11⁄2 ounces pineapple juice. Blend well with crushed ice in blender; pour into shooter glasses.

BMW (Shaken Shot)

The BMW shot is made with Jägermeister, Bacardi 151 Rum, and Red Bull. A BMW contains about as much alcohol as a six-pack, according to Business Insider.

Lumpy Dumpy (Shaken Shot)

The Lumpy Dumpling is made with Bailey's Irish Cream, Kahlúa, and a splash of Coca-Cola. These different types of hot drinks will leave you feeling dazed and confused—in other words, lumpy dumplings! The Irish cream should help counteract any nausea from consuming such large amounts of alcohol in one sitting.

Butterball

Liquor is dropped into a hot glass of black butter. It quickly separates into yellow fat (the drink) and brownish-gray scum (the bull). The scum is chased with a spoon.
Toby Maloney invented these different types of shot drinks at Chicago's Violet Hour bar. The name comes from its appearance—it looks like turkey gravy—and also because it kicks like one.

Cement Mixer

This combination tastes like a sweet, fruity version of Jägermeister—with a kick. Mix equal parts orange juice and Malibu coconut rum for this type of shot drink. Consequently, you can use these proportions for different shot drinks you prefer.
One part rye whiskey, two parts fresh lemon juice, and 1 part orange juice. Put them all in a cocktail shaker with ice, then add one scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Shake vigorously (or blend) until well mixed, then strain into two shot glasses through a fine-mesh strainer. Enjoy! It tastes just like Cement Mixer!

Chocolate Cake (Shaken Shot)

This shot drink is made with Irish cream and brown crème de cacao, and it's topped with whipped cream and chocolate cake sprinkles. Furthermore, the Ingredients are 2 oz. Bailey's Irish cream liqueur; 1 oz. crème de cacao (dark chocolate).
For the whipped cream, chocolate cake sprinkles. Instructions: Pour Bailey's Irish Cream into a glass and top with Crème de Cacao. Garnish it with a swirl of whipped cream and sprinkles.

Flaming Dr. Pepper (Bomb Shot)

This type of shot drink is made by dropping a flaming Dr. Pepper bomb into a pint glass filled with beer. If that sounds difficult, it's because it is.
Getting both lit and in place without extinguishing your drink or starting an unfortunate conflagration takes practice.
It's worth it, though. However, once you pop open a flaming drink, you can use that same fire for many other shots (see below). However, you get a different type of shot drink taste!

Flaming Jägermeister

Once you get started doing flaming shots, you can do lots of fun things with them. This shot involves dropping a single full Jägermeister shot into a pint glass filled with beer. Lighting it on fire and then chugging away before all of your alcohol burns off.

Four Horsemen

Many Americans recognize that Four Horsemen is also an excellent different type of shot drink. Moreover, these four drinks are made with Tequila, Jagermeister, Rumple Minze, and peppermint schnapps—and they're ready for action! They're easy to prepare.
To make it easy on yourself:
  1. Try making them in layers.
  2. Mix a couple of tablespoons of each shot into equal parts (by volume) of cream liqueur and sour mix.
  3. Top each glass off with cola or root beer and stir it.
You can rim your glasses with salt or sugar, but it's optional!

Irish Car Bomb

This recipe is for one shot and has quite a bit going on. This shot drink is made by placing Irish whiskey, Bailey's Irish Cream, and Jameson in a pint glass. Therefore, you dropped them into a cup of coffee.
The coffee works as an accelerant to make all three ingredients pour more quickly. Better than if they were just run individually. A spoon is used to stir until it's evenly mixed.
Lastly, add whipped cream with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top for extra flair. This, however, creates different types of hot drinks!

Jolly Rancher

This candy-inspired shot includes vodka, are ̀me de Menthe, and Irish cream liqueur. Trust us. This is one you won't want to miss. (via The Tipsy Bartender) First off, these are shots, not a drink!
There are no mixers involved, and it's just straight liquor poured into a glass with some flavoring agent or sweetener. And they have shot drinks! Shots can be sweet or sour, transparent or opaque.
It can have different liquors depending on what flavor profile you're going for, even though there is no limit to creating different types of shot drinks flavors.
You make sure your liquids don't contain any additives, preventing them from being consumed quickly (such as water).

Red Snapper

It's not a fish! The red snapper is one type of shooter. This type of shot drink starts with one shot of Bacardi 151 (the most substantial variety).
Followed by 1 shot each from amaretto, blue curacao, creme de banana, Jagermeister, and Tuaca. While known for being potent, these different types of shot drinks don't taste as strong as you would think.

Lime Drop

A lime drop shot is made by adding equal parts water and sugar syrup, 1/2 oz. Vodka, and 2 tsp. Lime juice. The mixture is then shaken over ice and into a shot glass before it's garnished with a wedge of lime.
Depending on your preference, it can also be served straight up without mixing. Suppose you want to mix things up even more.
Attempt making a Watermelon Lime Drop by replacing some or all of the water in your recipe with watermelon juice! These different hot drink types will give you an entirely new flavor perfect for summertime parties.
Conclusion
So whether you're looking for something substantial, sweet, fruity, or alcoholic, these different types of shot drinks are all delicious ways to get your party started. And if you don't have any alcohol on hand? No worries—these recipes will still make a great party drink. Enjoy!

2024.06.08 15:05 WinterCold7836 CREATIVES PARIS

If you are a creative in your 20s in Paris keep on reading.
The concept: We are going to create a group of creatives only, where we can talk & share ideas, go out together, have late night picnics on rooftops (and parks haha), go to cool bars, have people over for breakfast, drink wine by the canal, go thrifting, host people at our apartments to make music, draw, sing, dance, write poetry, try out new recipes, play board games, whatever. The idea is to have fun while inspiring each other, building actual, honest & close relationships, and sharing our time here together.
I will be making a group chat with 10-15 people. Why I chose this number is cause I want it to feel more close-nit and genuine. Also I know some people will be busy at times, so there would always be some people who are free.
If you want to join this group, send me a message introducing yourself: 1.name 2.age 3.nationality 4.interests, skills, hobbies 5.three favorite musicians/groups 6.personality (introverted/extroverted, spontaneous, funny, etc) 7.whether you work/have a job & how free you’ll be 8.your instagram @ 9.optional: pictures of your work, style, videos of your music, or any kind of media showing your work.
I will be going over the requests and picking the people who I think would be the best suited for the group.
The only 3 rules: 1. Be honest. And by that I mean, be truly yourself, don’t try to fit in, all of us are so unique and interesting. Im so tired of the “fake” mask people are taught to put on everywhere. 2. Be spontaneous. Don’t be scared to propose ideas that might be “out of the ordinary”, for example making a short film on the spot one day. 3. Be respectful and open minded, on everyone’s perspectives, style, art, fashion, etc.
Lastly, good luck:)

2024.06.08 14:18 fuhcough-productions Who actually eats these?

Who actually eats these?
I mean who goes out of their way to buy these? Who feels the need to one day wake up and say “yea I’m really craving a butterfingerer today”. I personally dont know anyone who eats these unless they’re someone who eats anything. This isn’t to ish on Butterfingers even though they’re not my preference, but I generally and literally don’t know anybody who has this as their favorite candy bar.
It came to my mind a day or 2 ago, and I said why don’t I try one of these it’s been however many years, and, NOPE. Could not even finish it without feeling the pain in my soon to be cavities. The way they stick to one’s teeth infuriates me and have kept me away from this candy. I’m sure I’m coming off as somewhat of a hater (sorry in advance to the butter lovers) but this is what comes to my mind when I think about these. The only associated candy I could tolerate and actually loved from the brand were the Butterfinger Cups. Too bad those are gone now
But said all that to ask, who regularly eats these?
