I normally play on Xbox, but I wanted to try playing on my M1 Mac today, something I've never tried before.
I go to Mojang's Web site and login using the Microsoft account I use on Xbox. It says I have Bedrock purchased and gives me a link to download the launcher. Now start my problems.
( EDIT: after someone told me Bedrock doesn’t work on Mac, I purchased Java Edition )
After I enter my password in the Launcher, it tells me the following:
"Sign-in is blocked"
"Sign-in with blocked for one of these reasons:Someone entered the wrong password too many times."
"If you signed up for this account through an organization, you might not be able to use it yet."
...
However, I did not enter my password wrong even once. The account works perfectly in browser, on Xbox, and anywhere else I try it. It is not blocked nor locked out anywhere else. Only the Mac MineCraft Launcher rejects it.
Despite this, I try using the "reset password" option. That claims to send a code to my phone that never arrives. So I go in the browser, login, and try the reset password option in browser. The code arrives immediately. I reset my password. I return to the Mac launcher and enter the new password. Still blocked! And the exact same message about entering a wrong password too many times.
This is infuriating. Does anyone else play on Mac and knows how to fix this? I am using Mojang's official launcher.

I did the Xenotes trip several days ago. Back in my home country now and trying to download the photos I purchased. On all web browsers on my computer, as well as my phone, when I type in the download code, I just get the "Wait a minute..." little spinny face, which then goes away and leaves the same webpage as before. No download or anything. Tried downloading the app in case I could get them that way, but the app does not appear to be working (both signing in as guest and creating a new account lead to infinite loading times).
What can I do? I emailed them but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and what the resolution was.

I have been working with a local business to replace their rented Technicolor modem with a Hitron CODA56. I picked the model specifically because it supports the enhanced upload speeds here in Vancouver WA. However, on both occasions in which I called Comcast Business support to swap the modem out on the account, I was told the modem didn't appear on the tech's side, and that I would receive a call back from L2 support. I haven't heard anything in a couple of weeks.
In both cases, the modem was connected for at least 15 minutes before I called, with all lights on solid, and the tech confirmed the model, serial, and MAC address with me. I couldn't find the diagnostics page for the new modem, but the old modem showed good download & upload power & SNR when it was connected in the same place.
So, a few overall questions:

• What is the expected timeframe for a call back from L2 support?
  
• A rented eMTA for our phones (a TM804G) is also connected. Although the ethernet port is usually disconnected, I noticed that I do receive an IP address and can connect to the internet through it. Does the eMTA need to be disconnected for the provisioning process to succeed?
  
• The first time I tried connecting the new modem, I plugged my laptop directly to the ethernet port and a web browser quickly redirected me to the Xfinity setup page. On subsequent attempts, it did not send me anywhere, despite giving me an IP address. Could that be a sign of a faulty modem or connection?
  
• Is there a problem with this specific make and/or model? The second tech suggested it had been problematic for him.
  
• I hear great things about the Arris S33, and would happily exchange this modem for one, but I don't see it in the list of supported modems for enhanced upload speeds. The second tech suggested ignoring that list because most D3.1 modems should work, but I don't want to sink money into another modem if that's not the case. Our plan is 500 down, 200 up.

I have a problem with the scroll of the mouse HyperX Haste 2 (wired, less than a month of use). I notice small jumps while scrolling, but only in some situations, like at the end of a web page, windows terminal, or randomly when I start scrolling a web page. The scroll don't jump when I'm the middle of the page, never, long or short. The easier way to reproduce is using the scroll on the tab bar of Notepad++ when I have lots of tabs open. I keep the mouse pointer over the tab bar and keep scrolling, I see the tab bar going left and right randomly. Also, testing the mouse with another PC, menu of Call of Duty MW3 (2023) jumps non stop while I scroll down. I fixed my problem downgrading the firmware from 1.1.0.8 to 1.1.0.6, downloaded from official website. Then I tried to set my DPI settings and led color, but the software updated the firmware again to 1.1.0.8. Tested again, the scroll issue was there, I downgraded again to 1.1.0.6 and left the dpi at defaults, scroll issue gone, no more problems.

As far as I can tell, both seem to require the internet? The macbook verison just has a nice keyboard shortcut to insta open it?
And it has the same voice functionality as the ipad/iphone/android devices?

I have a Asus Z790 ProArt Creator Motherboard which has a Intel I226-V (IGC) 2.5G ethernet on board. I'm using Sonoma, and OC 0.9.9. Works like a charm, or so I thought.
I was working on a project last night and started uploading the results and noticed that the upload speed was horribly slow. I did a speedtest, and download was fine, but upload was 0.48 Mbps. Usually it's 22 Mbps. Long story short, if I boot Windows, I get normal speeds up and down with the same stuff.
I'm already using the latest version (1.4) of AppleIGC.kext, and I've tried with and without the e1000=0 boot arg. I've also checked the settings in MacOS and Hardware -> Configure is set to Automatically, and shows up as 1000baseT, full-duplex (which is what I expect with my router).
So I'm truly at a loss here. What on earth could affect only the upload speed, and how can I fix it? I've done multiple web searches, including this sub, and while there were some issues with the IGC cards prior to the release of AppleIGC.kext, the consensus for the last two years has been that using it solves the problems, and I'm already doing that.
