2024.05.17 00:14 Rhall7317 Minolta Freedom 101 Flash
I’ve been passively looking in thrift stores for a 35 MM point and shoot camera to replace disposable cameras. Nothing fancy, just simple and user-friendly. I finally found this Minolta Freedom 101 today for super cheap and seemed to be in pretty good condition. I got batteries and film in it and it appears to be working, so I’m super excited! My only question is about the flash. There’s not a flash button on there so I’m wondering if there’s just always a flash when you take a picture. Thanks in advance!

2024.05.17 00:14 OkPear9687 Steering Angle sensor
So my 2008 automatic X constantly throws vdc off and slip lights on any time I disconnect the battery or my tires slip the slightest bit and takes forever to reset. I've tried the drive straight method numerous times with no luck. Would all of this go away if I just replace the steering angle sensor? Is this because of a crappy sensor or is it just a design flaw that will continue even with a new sensor.
Really want this to go away
Thanks

2024.05.17 00:11 Alaa495 Help! Voltage dropped down fom 61v down to 4v and no longer charging.
Today, i wanted to ride my 60v electric scooter like i always do, i turned the key on and saw that the voltage was at 61v and dropped down to 3v in around 5 seconds before the voltometer stopped displaying the voltage. Now whenever i turn the key on, the voltage shows around 5v and droppes down to around 3v before the voltometer stops displaying the voltage. The electric scooter doesn't seem to be charging either, when i plug the charger in, the light stays on green. Around 2 days ago, i accidantly cut the cable of the key ignition that shows the voltage, when i did that, the cable sparked a bit before i was able to seperate the the black cable (the cable for the voltage i think) from the green and red cable. I replaced the key ignition and the electric scooter was working. One thing i noticed is sometimes when im full throttle on the electric scooter, the electric scooter doesn't give the full power, but when i release the throttle 10% or more and accelerate fully again, i get the full power. The electric scooter is only ridden around 800km and rarely in rain, even when ridden in rain its only for like 5 minutes and in light rain so i can get to the gym. last time ridden in rain is almost 2 month ago. I am suspecting that the battery is faulty, which would suck since i used to really take good care of my electric scooter and never get near 55 volts or less and only use full throttle for a short time (most of the time riding about 24km/h). i also never charged the electric scooter with a 2a charger. If the battery is faulty, where can i buy a new one and how much does it cost? the one i have is a 60 21ah battery. i've heard that people buy batteries from alibaba, but i've seen som prices that are too good to be true. my electric scooter is the Classywalk N8 / TNE Creator V60 / Bolzzen Gladiator 6021, very similar to the Zero 10X submitted by Alaa495 to ElectricScooters [link] [comments]

2024.05.17 00:02 MarkAndReprisal Logic Board compatibility and a possible flash issue...
Am I gonna run into any compatibility issues replacing my logic board (6th gen 120G) with a 7th-gen 160G board? Is it compatible with the 6th-gen LCD? I already have the Tarkan iFlash Quad conversion and 3800MaH (thin model) battery installed. My iPod keeps resetting or disconnecting when I have it hooked up to the stereo in my 2013 Chevy Equinox ( factory Pioneer system ). It seems to not totally like having two SDs, either. I notice some songs only play once if I select a playlist on shuffle...

2024.05.17 00:01 MtHoodlum Admiral Platform provides centralized management for MikroTik network operators worldwide, helping them streamline and optimize their operations
The interview features Marc Perea, CEO of Admiral Platform, which was formerly known as Remote WinBox. Admiral Platform provides centralized management for MikroTik network operators worldwide, helping them streamline and optimize their operations. Marc introduces various MikroTik devices and explains that their platform supports all devices running RouterOS version 6 or 7. However, they currently do not support devices running SwitchOS. One of the primary features of the Admiral Platform is network automation, which includes daily backups retained for 30 days to assist with disaster recovery. The platform also offers features such as change configuration emails and daily summaries. In case of a device failure, users can retrieve the configuration from the backup and apply it to a new MikroTik device. The firmware manager allows users to schedule firmware updates for one or multiple devices with just a few clicks. The Fleet Commander is a mass configuration and command utility that can handle a variety of tasks across numerous MikroTik devices. For example, users can generate reports on routers or switches with specific VLAN IDs, update DNS settings, add firewall rules, or manage network address translations (NAT). This tool significantly simplifies network management by enabling bulk actions, eliminating the need to configure each device individually. Router management is the core framework of Admiral Platform, offering real-time and historical statistics for interfaces, including bandwidth consumption. The system provides alerts and notifications for various issues, such as SFP port problems, speed and duplex mismatches, or device disconnections. Notifications can be delivered via text message, Slack, or Telegram. Remote access, initially the primary feature of Remote WinBox, remains a crucial part of the platform. It allows users to manage MikroTik devices on private networks without needing public IPs. Admiral Platform also offers several customer support tools, including speed tests, Wi-Fi scanning, and bandwidth utilization tracking. Customer service representatives can quickly check the status of routers, run speed tests, and manage Wi-Fi settings, such as SSIDs and passphrases. The platform includes features for managed Wi-Fi and parental controls, which Marc has been involved with since 2015 through various software, including Aerez. These features allow users to set rate limits for specific devices, ensuring that high-bandwidth activities do not interfere with other network tasks. For example, Marc describes how he groups gaming systems like Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation into a category called "Gaming Systems" and limits their bandwidth to 10 Mbps. This prevents gaming devices from monopolizing the network bandwidth during updates or downloads, ensuring other devices on the network remain unaffected. The subscriber app also provides charts and graphs to help users identify which devices consume the most bandwidth. Guest Wi-Fi is another feature that Admiral Platform supports, allowing users to set up separate networks for visitors or IoT devices. This ensures that guests or less secure devices do not share the same network as more critical devices, such as work laptops. The guest Wi-Fi can be easily turned on and off as needed. Marc concludes the interview by expressing his appreciation for the opportunity to discuss Admiral Platform and its features, highlighting its usefulness and versatility for MikroTik network operators. Additionally, IsoHorns antennas are compatible with radios from MikroTik, including NetBox, BaseBox, and NetMetal, making them suitable for outdoor Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) applications. submitted by MtHoodlum to outdoorwireless [link] [comments]
2024.05.16 23:48 ShinySkyShaymin1994 Battery store super glued my Pokemon games so I get mad and get a refund and ultimately get to keep the batteries.
TL/DR
So this happened a couple years ago and it still makes my blood boil when I think about it.
So I had two copies of Japanese Pokemon Ruby with dead batteries and I go to a battery store that used to replace my batteries a decade ago for pretty cheap and I went back for my 2 games expecting around the same price maybe a slight higher price of around $5+ a battery. I speak to an employee and he told me they can replace the batteries but won't know the price and I thought of no problem shouldn't be too much. So I hand them the games and almost a week later I had a friend pick it up for me while I was at work and I found out that it was $40 I was shocked and but mad but whatever I paid it.
After my friend dropped the games off to me at work she said they glued the games shut since they couldn't properly seal it and I was floored and was livid that they would glue my games. So I later called them asking why they would glue my games and they explained they couldn't seal it. So I asked for a to speak to a manager because of how incredibly disrespectful they were to glue my property shut. I spoke to a manager and we eventually hung up and I waited a couple days to hear back.
My other friend said he had glue gone to remove the glue and after he removed it he noted they put the wrong battery in. I told the guy it needs a CR 1616 and they ended up putting a slightly bigger battery and it was a CR 1620 a couple days later I called back and started going a wall on the manager because I felt like I needed to assert myself and the manager told me calm down and that he was talking to me calmly so I forced myself to calm down. I told him they put the wrong battery in and that's why it wouldnt shut and it was disrespectful that they super glued my games. They offered to replace it with the proper battery or refund and I asked for a refund because I didn't want them touching my games again. So after I called corporate I was eventually issued a refund and got to keep the battery. The good part of this whole ordeal is that my friends friend was able to lower the battery more and told me that it is a longer lasting battery and now the game shuts better not perfect but better, I was told that I should write a review and I decided not to but part of me does want to. With this whole ordeal out of the way I will never again go to that battery store to replace batteries ever again. Especially since in 2014 they lost my Japanese Sapphire's screw and used a bigger one destroying the plastic yet still usable.

2024.05.16 23:47 Conscious_Profit_243 Thinkpad battery resurrected itself after almost 5 months
I posted here about 4 months ago how my T470s decided to shutdown both of it's batteries in a bit weird way, 1st it lowered capacity to 10% to both, then decided to stop charging them, all that in couple of days. I started to get a popup on my screen few times a day how no2 is bad and should be replaced so I took that one out. It didn't complain about no1 so I just left it in, it reported 0% altough Voltage was almost at max or 12.1V, I couldn't check pins for voltage, + was completley disconnected so I concluded BMS disabled it or maybe fuse was gone. 4months forward no1 started to work again, out of the blue, I forgot about it completley, it reports % again, it charges normally, it says I have 50% capacity left, could be more I haven't calibrated it yet, I can get at least 1.5hrs of work on primary alone. Now i plugged back no2, I still get that anoying popup but only when I power on the laptop, will report if that one starts to work as well. All that shortly after Easter heh

2024.05.16 23:45 smozbie Car shuts off randomly while driving
2011 Hyundai Accent. Two weeks ago car shut off while I was pulling in parking lot but before I could put car in park. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it fixed the problem for about 2 weeks. Car shakes at idle and feels like it could cut off, but this past time I was driving about 40 mph and it just died completely. When it cuts off the “low oil” and “battery” light will come on. Oil is good and battery is less than 2 years old. Let sit for about 30 minutes and was able to crank it back and get it home.
I was thinking coil packs, although no check engine code. Any ideas?

2024.05.16 23:43 Lego_Professor Help! Dealer replaced two batteries last week, drove 20 miles, now my engine won't start.
Brought my car in for service last week and got 90k maintenance and two batteries replaced. The main battery and aux battery had been very low for a while and I was getting low battery warnings on my dash for over a year, figured now was the time to finally fix it.
Got my car back and only made a couple small trips with it and yesterday afternoon it wouldn't start (I drove it twice earlier in the day). Let it sit for a while and tried again, nothing. Tried to jump, nothing. The car asks me to hold down the ignition button and the dash gives me a message about "start in progress". I can head clicking from the engine but nothing turns. Now I see low battery warnings again.
Had it towed to the dealer and they say it's a bad starter and they want $1300 to replace it. I just paid $1200 for service last week so not thrilled to pay the same again so soon. I also don't entirely trust that this is just coincidence. Some quick searching says it could be a short somewhere or something else electrical related, and not the starter. Any thoughts?
Details:
- 2015 S60 T6 Plat - 84k miles
- Ran fine with the low batteries for over a year. Auto stop/start didn't work anymore, but I never liked that anyway so it was fine by me.
- New batteries were installed, I drove for a few days and now I get low battery warning again and the ignition just makes a small hum and clicks until I let go of the button.
- Interior lights and dash all seem to work, so there is at least some power
- Tried to jump the car and that didn't work.
- Auto start/stop did not work at first, but yesterday morning it started working again. The issue started yesterday afternoon.
- I noticed that when I try to start the car that the vent fans stop blowing and the navigation screen goes black. Don't recall if that usually happens, I never think about it if so.
Questions:
- Assuming it is the starter, $1300 seems like a stupid amount of money. I think the part is around $200-500? What would a decent price be to replace it?
- I'm not great with DIY, but would I be able to replace the starter at home? (I can do tires and brakes).
- Any tests I should ask the dealer to perform or guide their troubleshooting based on the above?
- Any other guidance is appreciated, thanks!

2024.05.16 23:43 LordXamon Vanilla-friendly mod recommendations. QoL, performance, retextures, and more!
Let me share my 3000h of modded wisdom with you, my fellow vanilla comrades. My attempt here is to provide you with as many as possible improvements to the base game while keeping the style, balance, and content as vanilla as possible. As they say, when it works the best is when you don't realize it is there. I guarantee you that after playing for a while with these, you will no longer be able to tell what's from the base game and what's not.
You don't know how to mod? Maybe this
very basic guide will help. Please, note that many mods come with options to tune up your experience. It is recommended you give them a look.
You can find the steam collection
here. Be aware that some of these mods require the DLCs. You don't have the DLCs? Just don't use the mod.
Dependencies:
- Harmony + Huglibs. Required by so many mods, you may as well be done with it and always have them.
- Vanilla Expanded Framework. While not as radically necessary as the previous ones, it's still a dependency fairly common. And this one actually does cool things on its own, like loading new modded factions without having to start a new game.
- XML Extensions. You won't be able to access the options of some mods without this.
Performance
- Dub performance analyzer. Enable the optimizations and override options, you can ignore everything else. If you want to disable alerts, use rocketman.
- Rocketman. By default, it should be good enough. This mod also allows to disable alerts you may don't care about, like, dunno, tattered apparel or unhappy nudity. It is recommended to run adaptive move occasionally (in stat cache settings).
- Performance Optimizer. More hacker magic. If you don't like the UI changes, you can disable them in the options. This mod does more performance stuff aside from that, so use it anyway!
- Performance Fish. You will have to install this mod manually, since it's not available in the workshop. You will also need to install its dependencies, Fishery and Prepatcher. Please, be aware that at the present there's an issue in which linking storages crashes the game. However, this can be prevented by disabling "TryFindBestBetterStoreCellFor" in the options.
Minor changes
- Optimization Meats. Unless you really want dozens of different meat types for some weird role-play reason, this mod will reduce the bloat on your kitchens.
- Better Animal Tab
- Better Info Card
- Conduit Deconstruct. A button to exclusively dismantle power conduits.
- Disable Automatically Select Travel Supplies
- Improved Need Indicator
- Map Preview. You can reroll as well!
- Prepare Landing. You can search world tiles matching your conditions. Goes great with Map Preview.
- Medical Tab. An easy way to overview your colony health.
- More Harvest Designators! e.g. harvest only fully growth plants.
- ModDiff. Great improvement of the mod mismatch screen.
- Pharmacist Temporary Update. Instead of always using the best medicine, now your pawns can use the appropriate medicine for the situation. No longer will they spent glitterworld meds on scratches!
- Smart Turret Covering. Fixes an issue with turret covers.
- PawnTargetFix. So that the autotarget prioritizes the closest enemy.
- Poisoned Food Stack Fix (Fix). Fixes an issue with meal stacks.
- Priority Treatment Ressurected. Doctors will finally prioritize keeping your pawns alive over taking a nap. Disable the option that prevents injured pawns from performing surgery, it has issues.
- QualityBuilder. You can set up a target level for furniture, and your pawns will reconstruct it until it's achieved. If I remember correctly, it's enabled by default for all new furniture? You can turn that off in options.
- RPG Style Inventory Revamped. Much better looking inventory.
- Replace Stuff. Allows to directly replace buildings, without having to deconstruct first.
- Research Tree. A better research tree.
- RimHUD. The best mod of the whole list, it will save you A TON of clicks.
- RimSaves. Overhaul of the save menu.
- Show Known Techprints on the trade screen.
- Show mechanoid weapons on the info screen.
- Smarter Construction. No more babysitting pawns when building walls.
- Stack gap. By default, pawns constantly refill storages. With this mod, you can configure it so that storages are refiled only when they're empty.
- Sun Lamp Honesty. Fixes an issue with sun lamps
- Just Put It Over There. Traders will deliver the merchandise, instead of dropping it on the ground.
- Trade Ships Drop Spot. Mark the spot in which orbital traders will deliver the merchandise, instead on whenever they feel like it. Doesn't work inside animal pens.
- Trading Options. Configure how frequent you want the traders to be.
- WVC. More work modes for the mechanitor.
- Save Settings. Allows you to save and load storage, production, and clothes settings. Works cross-save!
- No Max Bills. Removes the bill cap on workbenches.
- Better ground-penetrating scanner
- Colored deep resources
- Common Sense. Feel free to configure however you like it. I prefer it like this.
- Dubs Mint Menus. Improvements to a bunch of menus.
- Better Pawn Control. Improved management policies.
- Animals Logic. A lot of useful animal-related improvements. Disable the meat option if you're using Optimization Meats.
- Non uno Pinata. Pawns don't drop items when downed. Configurable.
- Bulk Smelting will save you precious time.
- Stonecutting Extended. The same as the previous mod, but for stones.
- Electric Stonecutting Table. To speed up the stonecutting even more.
- Faster Smoothing, a must for all mountain/underground out there.
- Do Your F****** Research. You can order pawns to research.
- Go the Fork to Sleep. You can order pawns to sleep.
- Meal Radius. Configure how far pawns will search for a table to eat.
- Home radius. Configure the size of the automatic home area.
- Smarter Visitors. Visitors will leave if things get dangerous.
- Custom Guilt Duration. Executions in vanilla are a pain because the guilty status goes away too fast. Now you can configure it.
- Dress Patients. Allows dressing of downed pawns.
- Way Better Romance
- Hunters Use Melee
- Injured Carry. Allows to rescue not downed pawns, no longer you have to wait for the bleeding to down them.
- Not My Fault. The player is no longer responsible for unrelated deaths on the map.
- Deep Storage + Simple Storage. Improves stockpile management.
- Pick Up And Haul. Improved hauling.
- While You're Up. Complement for the previous mod. Keep in mind that these two mods will trivialize part of the challenge by freeing a lot of time from your colonists. Just, dunno, turn up the difficulty a notch or something.
- Trading Spot. Marks where you want traders to stop on your map. It's a must if you use a desired path mod (I don't know if they have been updated to 1.5 yet).
- Vanilla Base Generation Expanded. Improved NPC base generation.
- Cut plants before building
- Psychic Harmonizer Lag Fix
- Fellow Ideology players, you're welcome.
Mayor changes
- Dubs Bad Hygiene. Plumbing!
- Vanilla Temperature Expanded. Lot of useful temperature-related buildings, as well as proxy heat, a very cool mechanic. Some buildings are redundant with the previous mod, just don't research the ones that you don't want.
- Death Rattle + Biosculpter Patch + Life Support. Changes the behavior of mortal wounds so they're not instakills.
- Dynamic Flooding. Inundations!
- Some Things Float. I recommend disabling the chance of pawns loosing their footing.
- Layered Wall Destruction. Walls aren't just destroyed, they become debris. Note that there's an issue in which the debris will spawn home areas.
- Yayo's Combat. Combat overhaul. You can disable the ammunition system if it's not your thing.
- Character Editor. Allows you to edit and save/load pawns.
- RunAndGun. Allows to use guns while moving, with penalties to accuracy. Don't enable the dual wield or search and destroy modules, they won't work.
- EPOE Forked. Fills in the gaps of surgery content in the base game. I recommend disabling the additional workstations and enabling direct crafting only. Less micromanagement, more fun.
Balance
Content
Atmospheric changes
Bonus: comics! And the occasional animation. I noticed newbies aren't aware of these, so I linked the profiles of all the artists I could remember. Sorry if I missed someone.

2024.05.16 23:29 DerpyTurtleLam Confused as to what is wrong (ZX10R 2006)
Hey so I don’t wanna dig into the deep of the bike but i am unsure as to whats wrong with my zx10r 2006. Replaced the battery and charged it, to double check if it worked. But in short the bike was working before just bought it recently and now it doesn’t want to fully start. The panel lights up everything is showing but when I try to start the bike all I hear is a rapid click. Any clues as to what could be wrong before I tear the thing apart? I did see some posts when researching it could be some starter relay solenoid but any other ideas before I buy a new one? Thanks submitted by DerpyTurtleLam to motorcycles [link] [comments]
2024.05.16 23:27 JanMoses Can my old Nintendo switch motherboard bs repaired/saved?
My first generation Nintendo switch suddenly stopped powering on a couple of weeks ago. I took it to two different repair shops in NYC (video games of NY and XCubicles), the latter of which ultimately replaced the mother board after confirming the charging port was fine, replacing the battery and replacing the IC port. My console works fine now but I’ve lost some save data from games such as Pokémon Scarlett that I would like to have back. I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to repairs and components such as motherboards, and I’m not sure if this is the right sub to ask this question, but do you know if there are any places that specialize in or can conduct a faulty motherboard? Sorry if that’s a dumb question, honestly just trying to make a last ditch effort to salvage my save data that was on there. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Open to any recommendations you guys have on my issue.

2024.05.16 23:25 -Gath69- What should I replace my old Cannondale R1000 Slice Ultra with?
So I was hit by a car on the 8th, bike is toast. Still working through details with insurance, but starting to think about the potential replacement. It was a great bike, I bought it used 7 years ago and aside from maintenance it really never caused me any problems. Rear cage/deraillieur was going out, but not a problem now obviously. I ride MTB with my son, but this was my twice a week 22+ mile ride bike to keep in shape and active. Should I go traditional road bike and throw some Gravelkings on it or go with an actual gravel bike? New vs Used? Going from a 2x9 drivetrain what should I look for? I can probably find out a little about this on my own, but how is the road bike market in comparison to how soft the MTB market is? submitted by -Gath69- to bicycling [link] [comments]
2024.05.16 23:21 HugeLag Reliable GPS Tracking Device for my Truck
Hi! Thanks for reading my post.
I am seeking out recommendations for reliable, trusted and durable GPS tracking devices for vehicles.
I am also unsure whether they are even legal or not in the U.A.E?
Before people jump to conclusions, I have had an extremely bad experience recently with a mechanic in Sharjah whom I trusted to work on my truck. I was quite concerned regarding the fact my petrol tank was full (790 KM Range) - and 2 days later it was 0km. How?!
Was bummed out as I just replaced the fuel pump like 2 months ago, and emptying out your tank is so detrimental to the fuel pump and level sensor, also tanks fills with air. Nevertheless, I really think my truck was joyridden around but I don't have any evidence.
I would like to know if anyone uses GPS tracking devices, and which ones are good. I am looking for the following specs/criteria: -
Good battery life
Durable and Stealthy (Stealthy means easy to hide and not be spotted)
Provides good time relay on the frequency between the transmitter and your phone. (Not every hour updates)
Again - I would only be putting this device in my truck when its going in for repairs - other than that I have no intention to track myself lol.
I look forward to replies, and information thanks.

2024.05.16 23:17 Tranquil-Seas Need Advice, Please.
I have an old MacBook Air (2015). I’m pretty sure it’s done. I cracked the screen (very small) a couple of years ago. The battery charges, the fan turns on, but the screen is black.
There’s music in there, it’s not really replaceable. So, I’m trying to back to making music as soon as possible for under 400 dollars. Logic Pro is my Daw. I’ve invested years in learning it. All my work is based within that software.
Question. Mac mini? I have no problem using it primarily for logic. Is this a solution?
Or, to buy a refurbished and used MacBook?
Thanks

Anyone else experiencing this? My 3D tracking stopped working some days ago. Reinstalled the app without luck. Will try factory resetting the toothbrush too.
I use an IO9. Third unit replaced due to battery issues.

2024.05.16 23:14 kyocatlover Safety Concerns! Bought second hand van with solar installed. Looks janky as hell
Been to scared to even test it with out a battery. And looking at this I feel like the second I plug a LiFePo battery in it’ll explode. Plus the modified sine wave inverter, I don’t think it could even charge my laptop. Aren’t there supposed to be fuses?? Do we need to gut it and start again? Can I redo the wiring, replace the inverter and have something workable? submitted by kyocatlover to SolarDIY [link] [comments]

I was looking for a Mobiscribe vs Supernote comparison and couldn't find one. So here they are all together for size reference anyway. The two mobi versions I have are the same size, and the Supernote comes pretty close, but the SN has a bigger screen. I'm still trying to figure out if I like the Supernote, since I am pretty used to my Mobiscribe being my pocket work horse. If I had a regular desk job I'd probably use the Boox more often. But, I am a consultant and spent very little time in my office and my time in the field, carrying my backpack. I have to use a work laptop for somethings so the Boox is just too heavy. My good old remarkable and usually my Mobi go with me everywhere, but I am trying out the SN Nomad as a replacement right now. Anyway just wanted to share my (too) big collection of e-ink... Feel free to ask questions if you've got them. submitted by momster-mash16 to eink [link] [comments]
