When reports of the new Bucks were on shelves in had planned to visit Walmart and try my luck but, through the course of the day at work I got tired and didn’t want to drive out to the store so I instead ordered them using the Walmart app. That was May 1st. Ive been periodically checking the order status and today I noticed there was a hold on the payment. I contacted customer support because they were supposed to deliver today and i didnt want the hold to affect that. I was told that it was just a pending charge until they actually went out for delivery. Was told they would deliver today and IF they didnt, to wait 48 hours and call back.
Cut to this afternoon: app says one of the Bucks got “delayed” and the other was “weight substituted” with a Wardlow fig.
So after 2 weeks wait after ordering the Young Bucks, i got a beat up Wardlow figure in a literal paper bag.
Guess im gonna take the Wardlow figure to the store and hope i can get all this resolved and get both Bucks. Though from what im seeing that might take visits to different stores. 😮‍💨

Just brought in an old Arro 22 with a faulty zipper- it would zip up, but the zip occasionally would split open. I brought it in person to an Arc’Teryx store. I was sent a voucher via email for a replacement backpack, or whatever else I like- full value of the pack!
They told me zipper faults are always covered under warranty, but for packs, they can’t always be fixed. The whole exchange took 5 minutes and I’m quite happy. I’m considering a Carrier 40 duffel to replace it-…if anyone has experience with this new duffel, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I’m visiting my mom in a week and I’m looking to put together a blind tasting for her as her Mother’s Day gift since I was going to see her roughly around the holiday. She’s a sav blanc drinker who mainly drinks new world wines (New Zealand in particular), and I have gone ahead and purchased a 22 Waipara Springs sav blanc as a Marlborough representation and a 22 Tiki sav blanc for a North Canterbury region representation. I am looking to head to South America for a third bottle as a good comparison but I could be persuaded to go elsewhere. I’ve given her two bottles of Sancerre in the past and she says it’s not her favorite, and we are also both dual South African citizens so wines from the country aren’t generally our go-tos since we tend to go a little wild in Stellenbosch when we are there and generally just enjoy the good wine for dirt cheap when we are there instead of buying it here. She’s going again later this year so I worry a South African wine might not be as “new to us” as I’m shooting for here. Anyways, with all that said, hoping you guys can steer me in the right direction for a third bottle that would round out a tasting here. I got the other bottles for ~18 a pop so hoping to keep it around there but going up in price isn’t an issue when it comes to a gift for your mom you know? I live in Chicago and have PLENTY of wine stores to go to so sourcing shouldn’t be too bad for a recommendation.

Problem:
PlayIntegrityFix v15.9.7 is banned, so you cannot load into the game with Samsung's Pokemon Go v0.313.0 app; however, you can still play with Google's Pokemon Go app.
Fix #1: Wait for the developer of PlayIntegrityFix module to release a new update.

Fix #2: Edit your build.prop file to use your device's unique fingerprint ID.
Unfortunately, I made a detailed guide on how to do this during the No Root VMOS spoofing method back in 2019 and but deleted it a long time ago. I'll have to spend some time trying to see if I can find similar steps to do it. It goes something like this:

1. Get your fingerprint ID from using a hardware specs app like AIDA64 on your stock rom.
2. Use a file manager with root access to edit your build.prop file to change one line.
3. Save it in a certain way with 3 different permission boxes.
4. You're done!

The only downside is you can only pull the fingerprint ID using your stock rom that originally came with the device. If you're using a custom rom, you would have to flash your stock rom and write down the fingerprint ID then flash back to your custom rom. Then, your custom rom can use the stock rom's fingerprint ID.
There's another Magisk module that allows you to change the fingerprint ID by selecting it from their device list, but they may already have been banned or flashing it may cause errors or a bootloop. Backup your stuff before you try it.
Fix #3: You clone the Play Store's Pokemon Go app using Island or "App Cloner" app.

So I live in Ireland and my wife and I made friends with a girl from New York through work.
She stayed with us for a few days when stopping off in Ireland on 2 occasions and we got on like a house on fire. We talked about wanting to go to New York some day and she was adamant about getting us over to stay with her and her BF and she would show us the best of new york.
My Wife and I saw this as a motivator get the ball rolling and finally visit new york for 7 days. Nearly 2 years later, we flew over the new york and our friend picked us up from the airport to go to her apartment in Brooklyn. We were so excited.
We finally met the boyfriend who was a bit aloof and smoked alot of weed. On the first day, she said she was tired so we thought that's fine as we just flew 7 hours too.
The bed we stayed on was actually a pull out couch that was so uncomfortable that we slept on the mattress on the floor.
On the next morning, I got up and asked for some toast and she said there was no bread, so I had to find something down in the corner store that looked somwhat nice for my wife and I.
The friend knew how much we wanted to see new york (all the tourist sights too) but only decided to get moving into the city in the evening around 5pm on day 2 for a show downtown that I had booked and paid for the week before.
Once the show was over ($260 in total including food and tip) the friend couple looked to go back home but I suggested a stroll toward midtown. They agreed if we stopped for drinks on the way. The whole thing felt a bit off but we tried to make conversation and was excited by the city around us.
On day 3 my wife and I decided to take the same route to the city as our friend's were not making an effort to get ready, even though she was talking about the different places we could see together across the week to come the nights before.
I suggested a last minute hotel in the city in private to my wife to be closer but she thought that was a bit disrespectful to our New York friends.
When our friend was with us in Ireland she was cooked a breakfast everyday, food deliveries were made every evening and her clothes were washed, all at our expense.
When we were in the apartment in Brooklyn she would come in with snacks and not offer us anything and we were using the same towel in the shower since we arrived (3 days) also. The vibes were strange.
My wife had enough of sleeping on the floor among the several cats and agreed we should move into the city. We packed up on morning of the 4th day and broke the news to them.
For the rest of that day after we left and checked into the hotel ($700 lighter) my anger towards them had ramped up and I was stewing with resentment but the problem was that we had paid plans with them the following evening (the only plans they kept)
As soon as I saw them the following evening my blood was boiling and I didn't speak to them for the whole evening, not one word.
My Wife was making conversation as she noticed my silence and was giving me secret looks.
I felt bad but I literally couldn't think of a single thing to say and felt I owed them nothing at the same time to make things more comfortable.
I felt like a child but I really couldn't snap out of it. They suggested a late cabaret show, I bowed out to stay back at the hotel and my wife went for a few hours and got a cab back to the hotel.
The rest of our time was amazing but the holiday was tainted as we had to cram everything in that we originally wanted to do. We were meant to see them on the last day but were so tired from catching up that we cancelled and never saw them again. The friend was meant to bring us to JFK bit was mot bringing it up in the messages to my wife so I figured out the route by train.
I kinda wish I had faked the effort but at the same time wanted them to feel awkward as they seemed so oblivious overall.
Sorry for the long post but going to New York was always a dream of ours and feel a little cheated out of what should have been a completely positive experience in an amazing city and it cost around 5k in total too.

Every time I go to the microsoft store and click the get button for switch out of safe mode, it tells me "something happened and we couldn't start the upgrade". I've tried using a different Microsoft account, updated everything in the settings and the store, tried restarting wuauserv/Windows Update Service, repaired the store in the app settings, even tried disabling secure boot in BIOS/UEFI.
Laptop is an HP brand, it's been checked and has no further updates to do. Do I just have to wait and try again or is there something I can actually do to get it out of S mode?

I know a little about reddit, and I'm not native English speaker, so my posts may not be grammatically correct, but I will try my best:) and while posting it here, I would love to hear community (if it would be any:)) feedback commenting development process.

About the Word By Word

The initial idea of the game was created by me and my wife during long trips on transport, which required fast, simple and fun game which can work offline on one device and it was based on simple rule - which famously known as "Snowball" (or similar) - I say "Adventure" the the next person should say word which will contain three last letters from the word, i.e. "ure", so he may say "capture", the next person, can say "bureau" and so on.
Over time, I've tried several ideas and prototypes about what the game could be and finally came to the following:
It would be good to keep the same principle, but create new mechanics around it, to change the goal of the game - instead of comparing and confronting players, it would be better to give players thought the game can be played together, and while playing - research some new words and languages.
So, based on this, the final idea can be described in following principle:
The word entering mechanics are key to use everything in the game, and all players - are the passengers of hot air balloon which travels through some landscapes.
Currently I already implemented the new logic, which allows players to.control hot air balloon through the words, actions (moving crystals) and technologies.
I'm not great in UI design, so currently not focusing on it and making opposite - mechanics, and testing it how it works.

Monetization plans

I follow only one rule yet:) - during gameplay should be no ads at all. Ads should not interrupt process in any cases, and can be just addition - for example to revive the player (I think the best reference here is Alto Odyssey).

Hey guys, I recently put together a Speed Druid guide for dungeon and gold farming. Druid go vrrrrooom.
It’s the tail end of the expansion where most people just go into farm mode and try collect or prepare for the next expansion. I thought it might be useful to post here for any new gold/transmog farmers out there.

If there is a more appropriate reddit for this question, I apologize. I'm hoping for your expertise.
It involves a pre-built (sorry) PC I got only just today. It's a Legion 5i (Gen 8) tower. It booted. It updated. Then I decided to add my old gaming laptop SSD to the second M.2 slot. I shut everything down, unplugged the PC.
To access the secondary M.2 slot I had to remove the graphics card. I've replaced graphics cards before, installed new SSDs and HDDs and RAM before in other towers. Simple things, though, and I remember components being smaller... anyway...
Everything went without a hitch. Seemingly. I gently took the card out. Installed the new SSD, then out everything back together.
But now the monitor says it gets no signal. I've tried different monitors. Different cables. My TV. I've reseated the graphics card. I removed the SSD and reseated the graphics card. (Maybe I'm missing something?)
The computer boots.
The fans spin.
The RGB lights on card light up (not really my thing but it seems to be common on gaming rigs).
But no signal.
Have I bricked my brand spanking new computer? Anything I should try?

Basically I bought an open box galaxy s10+ because my old s10+ got water damage.
I transferred most of my old stuff over using Samsung cloud backup (settings, contacts, Bluetooth, etc.) but not the apps.
I then started to rapidly update my phone. I just kept hitting the software update search and it would download an update and I would install it I did that for over an hour and I stopped at OneUI 3.1 android 11 (because it was getting late).
Now I'm used to my old galaxy s10+ and what it's 5 year old battery is like. But for the past 2 days my new galaxy s10+'s battery is draining like crazy.
I already cleared the system cache in the boot menu and it didn't help. The culprit according to my battery manager is "One UI Home". After one day it is draining >50% of my battery, and this "new" battery is worse than my old heavily used 5 year old phone.
Nothing online is giving me any tips on what to do. I downloaded an app that tole me my new phone has only gone through 33 chargijg cycles so the battery can't be that bad? Maybe I shouldn't have updated my phone so rapidly?
I'm just hoping someone can give me some advice on how to fix this potential horrible battery drain. Other than the battery drain and the phone running a little hotter than what I'm used to (because of the battery drain?) The phone is very fast and works great.

Hello. I'm new here. I will probally try a few other communities too.
I need some advice because I'm getting nothing from the Google centre and no advice from the community pages.
I have another google account, which I have used for many years, I am locked out of this one, despite using the same device, mobile number and password.
I have Google Drive documents and photographs stored on this particular account which I cannot access, I also cannot log into sites which require sign in from this particular account. This is starting to concern me. It seems to be stuck on a loop, and no help or services from google. The 'help guide' suggested I just open a new account if I can't 'recover' my other, but what will happen to my files and work on my google drive? I have hundreds of files and photos? It's pretty poor.
I type in my email, no problem, then my password, no problem, then my mobile... then this comes up. I haven't changed my mobile, and usually I have had no problems. It has been like this for over a 10 days, I have left it a week before attempting again and still have problems.
Will I get access again, I don't know why this is happening and am very concerned and actually confused. And yes I know there are more serious issues in the world when I put down the computer, I am worried about access to photos and my work.

I have left sign in attempts from 2 hours to 7 days and I am still getting these banners. 'Unknown error'
I have heard that people have been barred or their accounts disabled, this isn't the case with this, so cannot login by recovering my account either.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I found a Dell all-in-one. It's a relatively new model with an i7 processor and replaceable storage. Is it sufficient to boot up a live disk and format the drive or do a write-erase cycle on it?

I bought 3 new 2024 Hisense TVs for around the house:

• 75" U8N for the living room.
• 65" U8N for the loft.
• 65" U8N for the bedroom.

 
With the brand new 2024 Hisense models already on sale for $1,049 for the 65" and $1,499 for the 75", I'm happy! I paid roughly the same back in 2017 for Samsung 65" MU8000 ($975) and an eye watering $2,300 for the 75" Samsung MU9000. I was using the Samsung TVs with the 2019 NVIDIA Shield Pro.
 
I upgraded because I was using the NVIDIA Shield. I need Google TV / Android TV for my IPTV provider. I got really annoyed with the NVIDIA Shield and having to switch inputs to bounce back and forth between live TV and my Android TV. Many times the NVIDIA Shield would have issues. I'd have to unplug it, let it sit, plug it back in. What was the final nail in the coffin was when I switched inputs from my NVIDIA Shield to Live TV, and then I tried to go back to the NVIDIA Shield, it sat DEAD for hours. I tried rebooting it. Unplugged it. Nothing. I could not get it to boot. This has happened before. It's not the first time. I have to let it sit for a few hours and when I plug it back in, the NVIDIA Shield turns back on. And no, this didn't happen on just 1 Shield. It has happened on every Shield in my house more than once.
 
Everyone says "get an NVIDIA Shield. They are superior!" I don't care about the upscaling. Honestly, I can't tell a difference. If I turn the upscaling up to enhanced the video looks grainy to me. I don't know what everyone's beef with Google TV is. Everything I throw at the Hisense TV via Plex plays just fine. No transcoding happens and Dolby Atmos, True HD, etc. all the audio passes through just fine to my Hisense Dolby Atmos / DTS:X soundbar. When I play 4K .mkv files via Plex, I see "Dolby Atmos" scroll across the soundbar.
 
It is so nice to to be upgraded to a TV with Google TV baked in. 1 remote for everything now. No having to switch inputs, no changing remotes, no having the sound switch to TV audio and having to switch it back to soundbar audio, no having to unplug the Shield to troubleshoot, etc. I can control everything with my 1 Hisense TV remote, including my Hisense soundbar settings from within the Google TV as well.
 
Yes, the remote is upgraded for the 2024 Hisense U8N model. It has backlit buttons just like the NVIDIA Shield 2019 model. I love that feature!
 
And yes, before anyone asks, my new Hisense TVs play the new AV1 format.
 
I know you all are die-hard Shield fans. That's cool. I just wanted to share that Google TVs are more than capable of handling video / audio codecs nowadays for us "average users." Heck, the NVIDIA Shield 2019 Tube version STILL can't handle 4k video files without buffering LOL! When I hooked up my new Google TV, that was the first thing I checked. I wanted to make sure that 4k video files would play 100% fine via Plex unlike the 2019 NVIDIA Shield tube version.

The top of the filter housing, the removable part, got a hairline crack in it a few years ago that was fixed with JB Weld. I've read that that's not an ideal solution...so rather than buying new cartridges, I'm considering just getting a new filter and switching to a sand filter with glass (that seems to be recommended here).
My local pool store recommended the Pentair TA-60, but I'm not sure if this is the best option, or if it's just what he has....any thoughts? For reference, my pool is around 20,000 gallons.
