One common theme one sees across Reddit and other apps is that many Muslim brothers and sisters give fatawa with NO sources, and NO knowledge of what they’re speaking about. I see so many people saying “I think such and such is good” “I think such and such is halaal/haraam but I’m not totally sure” “it’s fine if you do this” and similar replies. This is not a joke.

Ibn Katheer (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Qataadah said: Do not say, “I saw” when you did not see, or say “I heard” when you did not hear, or “I know” when you do not know, for verily Allah will question you about all of that.
What we may conclude from their comments is that Allah, may He be exalted, forbids speaking without knowledge; in fact He forbids speculation or suspicion, which is based on imagination. End quote.

I absolutely loathed a man. I thought he was love-bombing with his presence. He bought me a gift after knowing me for about 2 months. I hated everything about him. I hated him more than Kendrick hates Drake. His pheromones, his beard, his height, you name it.
Well, as the story goes, he visited my office every single day for about 4 months straight and we kind of grew to be “friends” but not really and he Never asked me out. Some mumbo jumbo about working together 🙄 it really just annoyed me sort of bc ughhh what do you want then? We’d share secrets and whisper curse a lot about everything happening at work with the office door closed.
I kept my poker face and acted uninterested bc I actually truly was.. then, boom. He fades away. 2-3 times a week to visit. Once a week. To now, not at all. And what do you know? I miss this man now.
I still don’t like him, I don’t think, but I do know that I miss his company.

Back when lab diamonds weren’t common, I feel like big diamonds had more of a wow factor than they do now, and at lease some women want a bigger ring because it signifies more money.
Case in point- I’ve had two friends in three years say something along the lines of “well I was going to get a 1 ct but I got a 2ct lab and no one’s any the wiser that it wasn’t that expensive!” (Plot twist, everyone knows and she made such a fuss that it looks gross now)
It just kind of gives me the ick. Like you should love a ring because you love it, not because other people will think it’s more expensive. There are women whose everyday style absolutely fits and demands a “grander” or larger ring. Their ring SCREAMS them. Then others who’s style and vibe doesn’t support a 3ct center with halo and pave band but have it bc it looks “rich”.
I admit I got sucked into that too. My style is very casual. And I had told FH I wanted a huge ring with a Halo and pave band and the whole deal. He saved for it and I went with him to get it. Then I went in person and once it was on my finger- I felt gross. I wanted a big ring because I wanted other people to see the big ring. The ring I “wanted” was so out of place on me, I ended up falling in love with a 1ct oval solitaire and it’s so perfectly me. I’m so glad I didn’t go with the trendy design and larger stones now that they’re affordable. Even though they’re GORGEOUS, it’s not me. And I wonder how many women are out there with rings they got bc they want to keep up with the jones’.
I think a good question to ask yourself before deciding on a ring is: if no one else ever got to see the ring, if it was a complete secret, would you still love it just as much?

Reading it for the first time and I feel frustrated. We can say a million things about Raggedpelt and while he is part of the issues of the book it's not the main thing I want to focus on. Shouldn't Yellowfang get a say in becoming a medicine cat? She was basically forced into one because of her "gift," and Sagewhisker practically pressuring her. She wanted to be a warrior but all the external factors in her life took that agency away from her.
I still don't understand why medicine cats can't have families too. Like if there's someone else to take over their duties like Sagewhisker for Yellowfang. I'm not saying all medicine cats should also become queens or whatever, but cats like Yellowfang absolutely wanted that life.
And then StarClan has the nerve to punish her when she does follow her heart (not only her with Brokenstar's birth but the whole clan). I'm religious, my church tells us how important our gift of agency is, and from that perspective StarClan almost seems like a cult, punishing those severely who step out of line.
So Yellowfang basically can't make her own decisions, and it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth how the story treats her.

Apologies if this doesn't belong to this sub, I saw similar Etsy API related questions within the sub before and am really hoping someone out there has dabbled enough with the API and development to be able to assist.
I'm building out an application for a family members store, I requested access to the API on my account/email as I'm the one that would need the API Key and Secret, I made sure to include the full URL of the store this is being made for within the request form as required.
I've got the client side of the application ready to go, and I'm ready to start work on the server side that would handle all calls to the Etsy API. To get a grasp on the API outside of the docs, I've setup authorization via oauth 2 and gotten an access token via Postman but whenever I hit the endpoint I need

I just get back the following error:

I'm confused because, unless I missed something somewhere, shouldn't I have access to the store just by simply having the shop ID in the request URL as well as within the request for API access upon initial setup?
I get not allowing anyone with API access to just put in any User ID or Shop ID and get ANY data we want but if the API access request specifically stated the store, and I'm using the shop_id for the GET request endpoint, I'd expect to be able to see what I need instead of being limited to shops owned by my account.
How do third party developers utilize this system without having to gain access to shop owners accounts if the shop has to be registered under your account? Does my family member need to add me to the store as an employee somehow?

I’m 22 in North Carolina and have been living on my own for a few years. My parents filed for my disability and medicaid after having a TBI at 17. They currently pay my rent & give me money for groceries sometimes (as they do for my sisters who don’t receive any disability) and claim me as a dependent. The issue is I can’t have over $2,000 in my bank account or work over 15 hours (according to my mom so I don’t get cut off from medicaid). I know part of the reason my mom wants to keep these payments is because they’ve spent so much on medical bills over the years so I think they view it as a form of compensation. It gets annoying though as I can’t save money but it’s also true that I haven’t always been able to work consistently. I’m also in college. My question is should I be receiving the benefits now? Do my parents secretly have themselves listed as my guardians?

You can get Sarah to follow you if you want, or you can just solo everything -- either way. 7) Go downstairs, collect everything, unlock the Mark 1 Spacesuit, and grab it, grab the book from Cora's room 8) While you're there, hit the stove and the pharma lab -- you can't make anything yet, but go ahead and "Track the items" for the following - I usually plan on making 10-20 of each, and then combining bandages/healpaste/antibiotic into the Analgesic Poultice, so only one thing to cure most: Bandages Heal Paste Immobilizer Antibiotic Injector All the "hearts" - Black Hole, Giant etc... Go to the stove and track: Galaxy Lo Mein Nebula Wat Papardelle Bolognese Stellar Kebabs Star Cluster Marsala 5 of each should be plenty - for me I only really ever use them on Buried Temple.
9) Go to the Eye - Talk to Vlad, get the "assigned" temple, and the list of artifact locations -- it's ALWAYS the same six locations. 10) Go to the Bessel III-a location, but DO NOT LAND THERE 11) Bessel III-b's Temple will spawn (unless of course, it's the one that was assigned already) 12) Go do the temple on Bessel III-b 13) Go to an anomaly if it didn't "autodetect" and scan it, and grab up all the calumite with Elemental Pull 14) Use my "Free Money Guide" Post to find and build the outpost here -- at this point you probably won't build the base quite yet, as you haven't done any shopping yet. 15) If you go to Neon to shop, and you haven't done any detours, you will probably spawn Sigma on Volii Epsilon -- hit it and grab that power while you're nearby, to make sure it doesn't bug 16) I usually go to Gagarin as Clint often has all the materials necessary. He carries (not TOO rarely) Aldumite Drilling Rigs, which are the key to fast money. Sieghart, Outland, and Jae in New Homestead also carry them sometimes. 17) Build the base 18) Sleep and sell - aim for about 2 Million Creds - if you've built our 6 robots, have max surveying, max outpost stuff, this is 1 24 hour sleep cycle, depending on the mods you may or may not play with, selling all this stuff may take time -- Neon will have your best vendor density for dumping. Remember that you can carry everything in your ship, by dropping it on the floor 19) Time to get the Razorleaf -- why?? because it has a fun mechanic where spacers will freak out, and more importantly, it will ALWAYS have the same ship ID -- this is important if you're willing to use the console to fix shield and target lockon bugs -- you can use a text file and just "bat rlfix" if you always know the ship ID. 20) Go to Sirius Ib -- it will have the HE3 extraction site, and will *almost* always have spacers. One of them SHOULD drop "Secret Outpost" which will start the Mantis questline 21) Go to Denebola 1a and clear the Lair of the Mantis, and claim the Razorleaf - make sure you're looting along the way, even though you don't need creds any more, you still need digipicks to go mo fast. 22) Finish shopping, and get the AGM and Quark Degen from Sieghart in Neon, run next door to Newill for the Gastro D. 23) Go back to your outpost and rebuild the Razorleaf into a dreadnaught24) Make your food and meds -- you'll want 5-10 of each, no more, you won't be here long enough to use them now 25) GOGOGOOGOGO FAST! 26) Go gather the artifacts from the remaining locations. Most of these spots will have a skill magazine, unless you did a perfect, complete NG0, you'll probably be adding a little bit of power by picking each of them up. 27) I use a spreadsheet to track what temple spawns on what planet -- cuz I'm a nerd :) BUT as soon as you pick up an artifact, go grab the power - Alpha, Eta and Sigma are ALWAYS gonna be in this first set, the rest are random. 28) At this point you can go back to the lodge and re-recruit Sam, Barrett and Andreja 27) Oborum -> Masada -> Temple -- all the consumables are nice to make the fight go smoother -- Phased Time is totally your best friend use it early and often, and when you have the Heart consumable you can use it pretty much whenever you want. Panopticon is awesome, and the Nebula Wat makes you go noticeably faster. 28) Talk the Hunter and Emissary down -- ain't nobody got time for that fight! -- Use a Paramour before you open the temple door. 29) Go grab the rest of the temples 30) Off to Unity, rinse and repeat!

Ever since Overwatch 2 debuted, Blizzard has been dedicated to enhancing the gameplay experience by cracking down on disruptive behavior. These efforts have led to noticeable improvements in lobbies that were once pervaded the game, granting more players the chance to genuinely enjoy the game, even if they may not have played exceptionally well.
However, there's a lingering concern that deserves attention. Many players who face account penalties like warnings, squelches, or suspensions find themselves in the dark about what triggered these actions. While most can make an educated guess as to what behaviors caused the penalty to be incurred, Blizzard's reluctance to provide details beyond automated responses is frustrating. Not only when you log in, but when you attempt to appeal the decision and are granted by another automated response.
This lack of clarity is worrisome. I firmly believe in Blizzard's commitment to fostering a fun and safe environment for everyone in Overwatch 2. But improving player experience shouldn't focus solely on punishment; it should encompass helping offenders understand and rectify their behavior for the future. Simply having an auto generated response can feel counterintuitive to Blizzards mission.
So what could Blizzard do differently?
Transparency and Communication: It's no secret that Overwatch 2 is best enjoyed when players communicate with one another. However, the current lack of transparency leaves these players in a situation where they are often fearful of saying something wrong so they are now starting to avoid communicating completely which can take away from the competitive experience for the entire team. Blizzard should strive to be more transparent about the reasons behind account actions. Providing specific examples of unacceptable behavior can help players understand what is considered inappropriate and guide them towards better conduct in the future. It's irresponsible to think that a game where people are afraid to say anything is the solution to the toxic culture that Blizzard is attempting to combat.
Behavioral Feedback: Instead of just issuing punishments, Blizzard can provide constructive feedback to players who have received account actions. This could involve highlighting specific instances of unacceptable behavior and offering resources or guidance on how to improve. Encouraging players to reflect on their actions and understand the consequences can help facilitate long-term behavioral change. Something as simple as "Swearing isn't tolerated in Overwatch 2 and can make other players feel uncomfortable regardless of context. Moving forward remember that saying nothing is always better than saying something harmful". Short responses that provide solutions may help the player base understand how to improve their behavior.
Incentivizing Positive Behavior: Rewarding positive behavior can reinforce good habits and create a more welcoming atmosphere. This could involve implementing systems that recognize and reward players for being helpful, cooperative, and respectful towards others. The current endorsement system is a great start and could be further expanded to achieve this goal. Perhaps queue priority for higher endorsement ranks, or small discounts when spending various currencies in the shop. Meaningful incentives that motivate players to be their best selves.
At the end of the day, I genuinely want to see Blizzard succeed in claiming back the confidence of its player base, and I believe that starts with being willing to acknowledge that the current system needs some serious improvements. Could I ask the community to share their thoughts with me on this subject? And if we are lucky, Blizzard may communicate back with us to solve this issue.

I'm 25yr old gay man who is pretty secure about my sexuality. I am versatile, my preference changes based on my partner - I am attracted to both masculine top and cute bottom. And I have this gay friend who tells me I'm actually just a bottom and that I'm in denial of my true self.

It wasn’t a particularly funny joke, but I had to admit it was clever. One essential component of humor is timing, and this story couldn’t have been more timely. My own son, Caleb, had recently started rooming with a female roommate, and I couldn’t help but worry.

I know it's no secret that this subreddit's moderation is not up to par. Unfortunately at this point of time I'm the only active mod here. I really do try to prevent the spam but I've had many unfortunate life situations that has taken my attention off the internet. I know it's annoying seeing the same post after post, and I wish I can give a solution but I can't. I've tried messaging the owner of the subreddit to try and get more mods but I believe he's inactive aswell. Hello. I am a shaving enthusiast. Shaving is a mundane, everyday chore, but some people elevate that task to a hobby. And many shavers around the world consider the blades made in the Petersburg Products International (PPI) factory to be among the very best. But there is speculation in the shaving community (reddit, online forums, etc.), with the war and sanctions, that the factory is no longer manufacturing razor blades. Assuming it is not a state or trade secret, can anyone in Saint Petersburg provide any reliable information regarding production at the factory? The PPI factory is know for producing many Gillette brand razor blades: Nacets, Perma-Sharps, Minoras, Gillette 7 O'Clock (green & yellow), Gillette Platinums, Gillette Silver Blues, etc. They are also known for Astras and Wizamets. “Sisters of Fate” - Conjuration 100%, Manipulation 60%, Emission 40%
This ability allows the user to conjure up to 3 nen beasts that take the form of cats, the cats can range from small black house cats to large jaguars. When summoned they will try to fulfill an objective given by the conjuror. The cats won’t disappear until the objective is fulfilled or when the user puts their hand on them and says “Thank you”. The cats claws also ooze a black mist (transmuted from my aura) which is further explained later.
Conditions/Limitations: 1. After they are summoned they won’t act until the user gives them a verbal objective. 2. The larger the cat the less complicated objectives they can carry out. 3. The larger the cat the more aura it costs to create and maintain them. 4. The cats can only travel within 5 mile of the spot that the user summoned them
“Black Mist” - Transmutation 80%, Manipulation 60%, Emission 40%
I transmute my aura into a black (poisonous) mist, then I manipulate the mist to "attack" my opponents. It goes for people I target. my transmuted aura would enter my opponents body through holes (such as mouths, ears, eyes, and nose. and it entering their body is excruciating. After just 15 seconds of this mist entering their bodies they are significantly weakened (physically), after 30 seconds most people would spill their deepest secret, after 45 seconds most people would go mentally insane for the rest of their life, and after 60 seconds almost anyone under this hatsu would die.
Conditions/Limitations: 1. I must know my target is there 2. I must have no weapons at the time I use this hatsu. 3. My target must be within 30 feet of me 4. I must "charge" this ability for 3 minutes before using. 5. For every second this hatsu is active the user is forced into a minute of zetsu after this hatsu is deactivated
“Momento et mori” (“Remember you will die”) - Conjuration 100%, Manipulation 60%
This Hatsu is activated by the users death. When the user dies the aforementioned “sisters of fate” will kill the person who killed the user and then put that persons aura into the user (thus bringing the user back to life).
Conditions/Limitations: 1. The user must die 2. The “sisters of fate” Hatsu must be active at the time of death or else this Hatsu doesn’t activate.

I suggest to do this, for example, we can create a classic version for Minecraft something like “Minecraft: Classic” or “Minecraft: Legacy” with the following versions and start making larger updates, for example
New Bosses Bosses for each dimension: - End: New bosses, such as mechanical creatures or Ancient Guardians, who protect unique artifacts and resources. - Nether: Bosses like Lava Titans or Demonic Overlords that can be found in fortresses and volcanoes. - Normal World(Bosses): Forest giants, sea monsters (or even more underground bosses in cool temples) that can be found in special structures or biomes.
