I am 22 years old - my problem is that I have been experiencing a strong impostor syndrome from the beginning. I have done the DIVA test three times with different psychologists. Each time I scored high, and basically, everything fits together rationally. I do indeed recognize the impostor symptom in myself. I discussed this with a friend who is finishing psychology studies and also has ADHD, and he supports my perspective.
Additionally, my father, who committed suicide, most likely also struggled with ADHD (based on the DIVA methodology, I asked the family and matched it to events that complicated his life further, plus, of course, chronic depression).Everything was rather stable until 3 days ago when I had bad lack for a psychiatrist (where I did the last DIVA and a specialist was recommended) - an online visit. I don't want to sound conceited (also, I'm not a doctor), but I had the impression that the psychiatrist I consulted often didn't know the answers to my questions and was evasive. He seemed more interested in my money than in helping and understanding me (I have seen 2 psychologists, 2 therapists, and 3 psychiatrists, so I have a comparison whether someone cares or is genuinely interested). I have scheduled my next appointment with a doctor that is leading ADHD treatment here in Poland
Returning to the point, my impostor syndrome flared up additionally when the psychiatrist stated during the interview that "the symptoms I experience are rather mild, or I somehow manage them, otherwise I would have problems with studying and working" (my professional life is okay, but about 4 times below my potential because I have issues with fluctuations in activity - I work intensely for several days, and then have a few days of a depressive period - it's not like manic-depression, it's rather about activity and the ability to motivate myself to do things, not finding less painful activities, etc.). This surprised me because I perceive them differently (and they seem more concrete than just excusing my inefficiencies). So, of course, I continued the previously started research to feel more at ease.
I was prescribed a dosage that seems non-standard: Medikinet 10mg CR daily, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and I can double it and then report back after finishing.All this has led to many questions and overthinking. The first day, 10mg didn't make much of an impression on me; it settled me a bit, I felt some interest, took the second dose in the afternoon as recommended, and, of course, couldn't sleep (despite 6mg of melatonin).
Yesterday, I took 20mg in the morning and felt the need to organize everything, and I cleaned the whole apartment, including scrubbing under the closet.Despite this, the impostor syndrome is so insidious that I keep wondering if I'm imagining things, over-researched, and adjusted the answers or interpretations of my life and events to fit the thesis.It's generally a terrible issue because I hope that after years of struggling with "depression," it will finally be addressed, and I can stop dealing with such matters and just focus on work - I am 22 years old, and my first visit to a psychiatrist for depression was around 15-16 years old.
Currently, I have the biggest dilemmas in the following areas, and I really hope someone could shed some light or guide me:

Is there any information on how many people with an ADHD diagnosis and prescribed treatment are misdiagnosed? It's known that in the USA, people sometimes stretch the truth to get Adderall, but I'm sure you understand my point and the essence of the matter.
  3. **Dosage** - I have a bit of time left before my next appointment and wonder what I can do (but nothing stupid). My friend, for example, has 30mg CR in the morning and then has those on-demand Medikinet, which keeps him okay later in the day and doesn't cause sleep problems; he's considering switching to Concerta. From my psychiatrist, I basically got the information I already mentioned plus to avoid abusing alcohol. Is there anything I can change in these recommendations to not waste time? If I just take 30mg or 40mg in the morning (of course, gradually and checking the response weekly), am I exposing myself to any problems? Experienced symptoms are a source of significant problems, manifesting in at least 2 areas of life in both childhood and adulthood. After my own analysis, talking to my mom and sister, it's hard to deny that I had serious problems in areas affected by ADHD plus many “less obvious” symptoms that I learned about from PsychiatraPlus from Mr. Jóźwiak (thanks God he records because books and articles in Poland on the internet are often a disaster) in quite significant intensity. I'm still afraid of cognitive bias and fitting the situation to the thesis.
I noticed an increase in many symptoms attributed to ADHD after 2022 (when my father committed suicide, which involved PTSD therapy because I saw a lot, plus a depressive episode). Before, I might have had 2-3 such severe depressive episodes. I skimmed through (I emphasize because I might have missed something that would answer my question, and I don't want to appear lazy coming for a free ready-made solution) meta-analyses (The World Federation of ADHD International Consensus Statement: 208 Evidence-based Conclusions about the Disorder). So the concept behind this is to do something like a literary salon but online. We choose a book to read, everyone reads it, and then we do an online meeting to discuss it.
I’m open to all kinds of books (prose, poetry, science, philosophy, comics, articles, your own works, etc).

I teach trapeze. I am, and have always been overweight (and classified as obese by science). I started teaching trapeze because of the weight shaming I received in the beginning. Now, I am losing weight (already lost 60 with contrave) and feel more comfortable with my body. But, I still teach larger bodies trapeze and still trying to be relatable in their trapeze journey. They are beginning to notice my weight loss. I have played it off to some extent by explaining I recently got certified as a personal trainer and the work that entailed (which was actually all book studies) but my newer students are starting to react to me like they do to skinnier, standard trapeze teachers.
I want to stress I am no way the size of a straight trapeze teacheperformer. I am still 200lbs and, due to age/meds/illness will probably only ever get to 180s. But how do I remain a role model to these people who need to see representation in the art and learn from people like them while also actively trying to lose weight (in part because my weight is slowing my trapeze journey down)?
Yesterday I had a girl crying on my shoulder that she would never be able to do this and me trying to explain to her that I would get her there with hard work and practice . You could tell she didn't believe me.
Maybe there are no answers. I just feel like I am betraying people by losing weight but I also feel happier at this lower weight. Thanks for listening.

I have to calculate the theoretical frequency of my lab but I keep getting the same answer for each trial. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Is that supposed to happen? I was under the impression they were supposed to be different. I've included my lab results. We're supposed to only use the Fg nit the frequency to solve since again, were looking to the theoretical frequency.

Hello everyone,
I am gonna share my story about how i partly got rid of my social anxiety. I hope this will help someone. I will try my best to explain but i am not good at explaining things. (Probably because of SAD)
A quick backstory of myself
I had strick parents growing up, they weren't the biggest devils on Earth but they were strict. I was bullied as a kid, not physically more like mentally. Also wasn't the worst bullying in the world, but it did exist. Had cruel teachers and colleagues in school. My mom was shy and had social anxiety. I was naturally shy and didn't talk much.
Everyone always told me i was quiet and didn't talk, but when i talked , they would: ignore me, disturb me, mock me or didn't listen. I was stuck in a magic loop. Be quiet or get ignored.
So yeah, i was doomed from start to have a social anxiety.
The lore
My country is a part tourist country and during school summer break it is normal for teenagers to get a part time summer job. Everyone in my class was getting one ( except maybe a few students it depended on the year) and me. I never tried to get a summer job because of my social anxiety. One year i didn't really need a job, the other year i was close to apply but just quit. But this one year my friend from highschool, said he was gonna apply to some job in a camp and asked me if i wanted to join. I applied. I had no idea what the job is about and what i am gonna do, but still applied because i didn't know what to do at home. I just didnt want to stay at home doing nothing if i had an opportunity to go work. I wasn't lazy or afraid of work, i was afraid of people and social interactions.
Later i find out the job is like pool guard/ cleaner. So in the morning i am supposed to clean pools and later when the pool opens i am supposed to watch over guests and if someone asks me something i am supposed to answer them the most nicest way possible. Also sometimes I am supposed to come over some guests and tell them something.
The job as you can guess is pretty opposite of my personality and because i had social anxiety it was really a pain to do it. So i was supposed to talk to strangers, which was painful for me because i couldn't talk to people until i met them and i get comfortable. Also i got nervous when someone asked me questions ( especially if i didnt know the answer to). I needed to approach some random people and tell them things, which was also painful for me just thinking i needed to approach someone. Also i was meeting some new people every single day. ( Which was also problem for me)
I had no problem working, for me it was okay to work because i was already working something at home. I had just some invisble fear of people and i was always a little stiff. It was pain to work but everyday it was a little bit easier. I was getting a little bit comfortable every day.
First day was horrible for me, before the day even started I was stressed and nervous. On first day i met like 5 people. Everyone told me and saw i was scared and frightened (which some people also told me over the years). Which i was, it was a very new experience and i didnt know what to expect. I was constantly nervous and stiff. After the first day ended I was a little bit relieved, it was a lot easier for me because i checked my enviroment and surroundings.
I was reading a book "Atomic habits" by James Clear ( which isn't really about social anxiety , but had to do with developing habits but i am sure it can help in other ways) and in that book he said that if we want to make a change, we first need to start by changing our mentality and thinking.
So basically every time a guest wanted to ask me something or I needed to approch someone I would just say to myself : Okay , dont be scared be as nice as possible.
It took some time, after a month or so i was feeling a little bit better. And after another 2 months I was even better. I still sometimes feel a little bit "scared" in social situations. Like when there are a lot of people, but i am a lot better in situations when there are less people like maybe 3 or 4 people. Before i was "scared" even with that. And also i dont know how to intialize or keep the conversation going but we are getting there.
A little side story of experience before i got the job and after i got the job
3 or 4 years ago (before i got this job) I was pulled over by police. It was just some random road check, they wanted to see my drivers license and my car license. But when they pulled me over i completely froze and was half paralised I could barely move. I stopped the car and i didnt pull the parking brake and the officer told me to show him my drivers license, i quickly as i could pulled out a drivers license because i thought he would kill me if i didnt show it in under 2 seconds. And i just lost control forgot i didnt hold no brake and my car went backwards a few meters, and i showed him my drivers license and car license, he asked me if i was okay. And after it was over my friends teased me a little for my car going backwards.
A few months ago i was stopped by police because i crossed the red light. Basically i was late for class and was in a hurry to get on time to start writing exam. And traffic light was about to turn green but it took forever to turn green. I had no patience for light to turn green i was trying to get to the class to write a test as quickly as possible. So i crossed it at red and after a few seconds it turned green. And they jumped me out of nowhere. I was a little bit surprised but after a few seconds handled the situation calmly. Also the officers were nice to me and asked me were i was going, i said i was latte for the exam and that's why i crossed the street. And they asked me what i was studying and we talked for some minutes.
So anyway thats about it. Before I used to have this uncomfortable feeling in every social situation where I would feel my body temperature rise and my body becomes half paralised and stiff where i could barely move. Sometimes i would shake a little and sometimes when i talked i would mumble.
Now i rarely get that feeling, i get it in rare occasions when i enter a room for example but even then it is not as painful as it used to be. Only big problem now is i don't know how to intialize conversation with someone, like if i wanted to meet someone what would i tell them or how to get close with someone. I also don't know how to explain things with people understand me or how to express myself.

Like, I'm playing this amazing warship game with girls and suddenly I see a f*cking monster pop up and send torpedos from her mouth into my ship ( girl ) which makes it not only disturbing but also gross when you think hard about it, I can't handle it anymore dude. I know the full story of the game and I know the abyssals are supposed to be there, and I aknowledge them, since I'm playing for years on end but I'm getting way too tired of this. Just, I know people like Abyssals, I like some too, but the monster ones are just disturbing, no?
So is there a way I can ''remove'' all abyssals from the game without removing them either? I thought if I made some kind of thing overlay it I wouldn't see it at all. But I don't even know how to do such a thing, so yeah I'm looking for answers here if anyone knows at all Re-posted because I put the wrong tag.

Just found out I passed AT/AT/T!!!
So beyond proud of myself and so grateful for the resources this sub led me to.
Don't be like me and wait so long to take the exam, I had until June 7th to take and pass or else I would have had to reapply. I finally buckled down the beginning of April and booked it for 15 May. Unfortunately there weren't any in person slots left near me in the timeline I had left, so I had to opt for online. I would not recommend taking online unless it's your last resort, I had completed check-in and was waiting for the proctor to review my pictures, never got a chat or any notification they would be calling me, (once you get to this point in check-in it is recording you and says you must follow all exam rules, so I felt I could not answer my phone until they gave me a notification that they were calling, it's very confusing) and when I didn't answer, all the sudden the window closed and said it was complete. I was a hysterical mess thinking I just wasted $400 and tried to call the number back and no luck. I tried the check-in process again after calming down and had success this time, the proctor reached out via chat and then did a video call vs calling my phone. I needed to prove monitors were unplugged (I then lost internet connection while moving my laptop to show the cord and was about ready to give up at this point, but luckily the ethernet cord got set straight and reconnected) and I was able to start my exam.
Definitely take both breaks and get up to stretch in the very least. I had good timing and never felt rushed, I did utilize the flagging and had plenty of time to go back and review. If I felt I was spending an excessively long time on a question I picked an answer and flagged to keep moving.
After taking the test I felt pretty good about it, but not great, it also sucks that when you take online you have to wait 24-48 hours to find out your results. I had already told myself if I failed I was retaking in a test center bc of how awful this experience was taking online.
My study plan/resources:
I had already watched some of the AR Udemy course at that point, but restarted it and also focused on the mindset portion this time. I also used Study Hall (essentials) and did all practice mini exams and 1 full length exam (73% on the full length and average of 76% on all exams). I read about the DM videos on this sub and highly recommend. I'm convinced that those and Study Hall are what prepared me the best and got me 2 AT's. I unfortunately didn't have time to watch the DM videos in full, but watched a good portion of each (200 Agile, 100 waterfall, 150 PMBOK).
I was not religiously studying everyday as I probably should have, and should have had more of a plan other than taking practice questions and exams, but it ended up working for me. Once you start getting a feel for the questions in Study Hall and get consistent results in the 70s you should be good. I have a few years experience as a Program Manager and felt I had a basic understanding going into this, but getting into the mindset is the most important part in my opinion.
Hilarious sidenote- the photo you submit during check-in pops up when you take breaks and my photo was a HOT MESS after initially not getting through check-in, we are talking very obvious I had cried and was barely holding it together. It made me laugh so hard when I got to my first break and helped relieve some stress. I wished I had been able to save it bc it's that hilarious of a photo. Today it popped up when I clicked to look at my exam report, huzzah!

I wanted to see if I could figure this out along with her I'm 33 minutes in, but I started back at the beginning of the puzzle to work my way through because I don't want to see the answer before I've tried to work my way through the problem. Here's my logic.

Helping her navigate the maze and figure everything out. What she wants is children with Book. I'm assuming the lights shutting down represents the fact that she is missing the window of opportunity to have children with Book. A literal biological clock.
