2024.05.17 00:52 traseeh Android aftermarket on A3 8p

Hi guys,
Since I’m new here and a first time Audi owner is great to be here :)
I recently got an Audi A3 8p and updated it with an Android Aftermarket head unit.
Does anyone knows how is CarLink’s dongle worth it for CarPlay? How is the audio quality? Is there any lag?
Thanks in advance,

2024.05.17 00:51 Honeysyedseo How We Got 10K Top 3 Keywords and 820K/mo Traffic With AI Content in Just 16 months

How We Got 10K Top 3 Keywords and 820K/mo Traffic With AI Content in Just 16 months
0 to 820K/mo SEO traffic with AI content.
820K/month AI SEO Traffic
  • Traffic after 24 hours
  • 300K/mo after 6 months
  • 750K/mo after 12 months
  • 820K/mo after 16 months
  • 10K top 3 keywords in Google
Here's not only how we did it 16 months ago...
But how to do it even better:
Quick overview:
We ran a large-scale SEO campaign using only AI-generated content.
Website: B2B SaaS company
Industry: Finance
AI language model:
  • Started on GPT-3
  • Moved to GPT-3.5
  • Now on GPT-4
AI tool used: https://byword.ai/
Results timeline:
I've updated this case study every 3-4 months...
Keywords (top 3 in Google):
  • Sept 22: 1,506
  • Jan 23: 3,194
  • Apr 23: 4,317
  • Today: 10,150
Monthly organic traffic:
7M AI SEO Sessions
  • Sept 22: 300K
  • Jan 23: 660K
  • Apr 23: 750K
  • Today: 820K
7M total sessions.
How we did it:
All content was produced at scale using Byword.
But that was 16 months ago. Technology has since evolved.
In this post, I won't just show you how we did it 16 months ago.
But I'll show you how to do it even better...

1. Understanding the target audience

A large part of a successful AI content campaign is knowing what your audience is searching.
Ways we researched:
  • Keyword research tools
  • Competitor keyword data
  • Ideation around the product
  • Scraping competitor sitemaps
For example, if targeting Excel users, use Ahrefs' matching terms report and look for patterns in the data (for step 2).
Ahrefs \"How to excel\" Matching Terms Report

2. Choose scalable topic series

Find a series of topics with 100s or 1,000s of keywords to target.
Here are the 6 we chose:
Scalable Topics Series
An example of a scalable topic series targeting Excel users is:
How to calculate [formula] in Excel
Ahrefs Calculate Excel Matching Terms Report

3A. Generate content for each topic series

Byword Project Name
Use Byword to generate the AI content from your topics (it can produce 1,000s in a day).

3B. Enable internal linking first

Byword Internal Linking
Internal linking is crucial. But it wasn't possible to automate 16 months ago.
Add your sitemap and let Byword do the rest.

3C. Upgrade the AI image model

Byword AI Image Settings
AI-generated images were fairly poor at the time.
But now, Byword has an upgraded option that also allows you to add brand colours.

4. Build the website architecture

Website Structure
Create an area on the site to house the content to ensure Google can find and crawl the pages easily.
Each of those pages then houses the individual posts for that topic series (like a HTML sitemap).

5. Publish quickly

Byword Integrations
Publish the content and ensure all URLs are in the XML sitemap and submitted in Search Console.
Byword has integrations with CMS platforms to speed this up.

6. Submit to Google for indexing at scale

https://preview.redd.it/r4l73sxqav0d1.jpg?width=3052&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01debd0af1dce84eb9091052466705474562e93e
We published over 7,000 articles. Google takes its time indexing every single page.
Instead, use a tool like TagParrot to automatically request indexing to Google for each page.

7. Results...

https://preview.redd.it/8slakgjvav0d1.jpg?width=3074&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3a3fe2b95697238452c55188812b6c181e576629
Wait 3+ months to see traffic.
However, this project saw traffic as soon as the next day.
The time to rank will depend on the existing authority of the website.
Traffic graphs:
Google Analytics True Data
What does it cost?
Byword Monthly Plans
Large-scale AI campaigns like this require the 'Unlimited' monthly plan.
(The majority, if not all, of the content can be generated within 1 month.)
But you can try Byword for free:

Simply enter your topic here and generate your article.

2024.05.17 00:48 jakeometer Can't delete some things from a share - please help

Hello there, I'm having an issue please may you help?
I'm having issues deleting files on one of my secure shares. I'm trying this on windows in an SMB share. I've tried through windows explorer and via a sync software. I need it this way because I'm using synconisation from other locations to mirror some folders, to remove junk off of my unraid server. It's secure share, correct user, deleting works fine on a public share.
I've done some troubleshooting and this is what I have done so far:
I've done docker safe new permissions > new permissions > docker safe new permissions, with same result after each step. Did this for all drives AND all shares. restarted server and PC multiple times everything's updated Googled the issue, the new permissions trick has worked for others in the past :( Krusader deletes it fine Stopped all dockers, made no difference I've remapped or re-added the share as well, no difference
Please help!

2024.05.17 00:38 AnySavagePro Need help in Bee Swarm Simulator? Look no farther.

Hey everyone! 👋 I've noticed a lot of posts recently about Bee Swarm Simulator progression and event bee questions, and I wanted to help. About seven months ago, my friends joined the game, and seeing my level 18 fully gifted 4/5 pop shower SSA blue hive, they sought my help. While I've mainly played during Beesmas for the past three years, I tried my best to recall my early game experiences and what I could have done better.
The influx of questions got me thinking, and I decided to create a comprehensive Google Doc with answers to all those questions that might not be readily available on the wiki. This includes details on progression order, event bee order, and quests order. In the beginning, the tips sheet was based on my memory and a few random YouTube videos I stumbled upon. However, as my friends progressed in the game, I refined it to include what worked best for them. They are now endgame, one being a red hive and one a white hive so I could include information on all hive colors.
I'm committed to keeping it up to date, evolving it as needed whenever there are changes in the game. My goal is to help out all the players who have questions about progression and event bees. If you have a moment, check it out here: Link to Google Doc 🐝 Feel free to share it with anyone who might find it useful! I would also greatly appreciate any feedback you might have. Note: I posted this before, but it has been more than 1 month and not many people sought it updated anymore so I wanted to make sure it got out to people because of all the progression questions coming up recently.

2024.05.17 00:37 DAREALPGF I'd really appreciate some help trying to find a reliable and affordable Hatchback for daily commutes, and city driving, preferably with Android Auto! :)

Hi!
I'm looking for a used car to share with a family member and I would highly appreciate any kind of suggestions or general help in trying to find options for a car fitting our needs! Thank you so much in advance! 💕
The budget isn't all that great, but i got pleasantly surprised when i found the Toyota Auris seemingly checking all the boxes and being available for even less than 15k€ used. After looking at it for a while i found out Toyota was a decade late in adding carplay so even the most modern Auris models don't support AA or Apple Carplay.
I was looking at Toyota cars specifically since they're so reliable buying a used car from them isn't all that risky, and because they're widely available around where i live (Finland).
I would, however, like the car to have AA if we're spending money on a recent-ish model, as otherwise we might as well just get another ~2012 trash heap to save money as from what i've seen Toyota's own entertainment & navigation systems seem pretty worthless. I mainly use Google Maps for navigation, and if the car doesn't have that as an option, i see no point in paying for a fancy touch screen navigation system that i'm never going to use. In that case, Bluetooth audio will be enough, and i'll just use my phone for navigation.
The requirements for the car are as follows:
  1. RELIABLE BRAND & MODEL
This is the most important part. If we're buying a used car, we need to be as sure as possible that it's not gonna break down on us for a long, long time, and that we won't need to pay twice the car's price in repairs.
  1. General Specs
We are looking for a compact 4-5 seater vehicle for daily- and city driving as well as moderately long drives with a trunk space that can be expanded onto the passenger seats when necessary. It should be compact enough for city driving and parking, but still be able to carry cargo when necessary.
All cars either of us have driven have been manual, but we're willing to give automatic transmission a shot as well! FWD or AWD preferred.
  1. Android auto or Bluetooth
As i explained earlier, I see no real point in paying for a touch screen monitor smacked on the console, if it adds nothing to the comfort or practicality of the vehicle. If the car isn't compatible with AA or google maps in some way, all that matters is that it's easy to listen to music wirelessly.
  1. Decent audio system
Speaking of listening to music, it would be really nice to be able to enjoy the music as well! Neither of us are audiophiles or anything, but it would be nice if the speakers were good enough to make listening to music while driving fun! :)
  1. Fuel
Gasoline or diesel works perfectly, It seems most options fit our needs nowadays are hybrids, which sound great otherwise, but neither of us have any experience with them. We've only heard horror stories about hybrids having reliability issues or being impossible to do routine maintenance to at home (like switching tires), and that they are more likely to fail inspection? I have no idea how true this is but if these are baseless claims, a Hybrid sounds like a great option as well.
Fuel efficiency is a huge plus, though "good" is enough. It doesn't have to be the main focus or anything exceptional. However, the more efficient the car is, the better of course!
  1. Price
No more than 20k EUR (Used), or ~250€/ month. Leasing is also an option but i couldn't find any valid prices around here. Besides, i'm mainly just looking for vehicle suggestions, i can look at deals or sales myself as long as it's roughly in the same price category.
The main reason we want to make sure the car is solid and reliable is so we don't have to pay ourselves sick for it's maintenance. If we're considering leasing, it will be so we can make the dealership pay for any possible wear & tear. Again, we're looking for a used car that will last us a while. ^^
Again, thank you so much for anyone willing to help and take a look at this, all help is highly appreciated! 💕

2024.05.17 00:37 Tiger-Trick Nvidia - mouse stuttering nightmare – please help!

I'm dealing with a persistent issue where my mouse stutters and skips every few seconds. This problem has been around for years, but no solution has been provided yet.
Nvidia remains silent on this issue, which is disappointing. Here's their response:
I've googled "mouse + nvidia," and it's clear tons of people have this problem. I’ve tried everything :unplugging /replugging the HDMI , toggling the Nvidia overlay, DDU by Guru3d - nothing works.
Initially, I thought this was a problem related to the OS or Logitech mouse software. I detailed the issue, thinking it was specific to my system and Logitech hardware: Reddit post.
I installed Portal 2 recently, and even at 300 FPS, the game is unplayable due to constant stuttering.
I also installed a fresh OS on a different partition, but the mouse issue persists. I haven't tested it in games yet because I've already spent several days trying to resolve this, and I'm at my wit's end. This is something nvidia should fix, not me.
The system itself is ok, because when I switch to the AMD APU , the mouse problem disappears in the OS. I haven't tested it in games because, obviously, you can't game on this GPU.
Here are my specs:
PS: I was planning to buy a 4070 Super but started with an older 2070. Good thing I did because it's unusable. I have six days left to return this card and might switch to a Radeon.
Has anyone found a reliable solution to this issue?

2024.05.17 00:17 likwidtek To the new folks who recently purchased Returnal on sale and are having graphical issues on the Steam version / PC - please leave a negative review if you are having these issues as a result of last year's unfixed patch.

Unfortunately I am passed the refund window but here's my issue. I am running the game on recommended / default settings. I have a Intel Core i7-8086K CPU @ 4.00GHz, 32GB RAM, NVME storage, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 with 10GB VRAM. Yet frame rate is really inconsistent and gives stutters fairly often. Honestly, I can deal with that (somewhat). The main issue though is after playing for about 2 hours, all of the textures and models revert to the lowest setting making everything look like mud and playdough. The only fix is to restart.
This really sucks because I am above their "recommended" PC spec yet the game performance is very bad.
Unfortunately, this seems to have been an issue since the last patch over a year ago, April 2023. They have not patched or updated the game since. Googling around it sounds there there are some work arounds and temporary fixes such as messing with the page file however these do not work for me currently. There are other options such as turning off texture streaming but this requires a 4090 or similar card with up to 20GB VRAM (if I recall correctly). That won't work for everyone.
Are any of you also having this issue? If so, I encourage you to please leave a negative review on steam until they have patched this. It sucks they are still selling the game as is after a broken update and have since abandoned the game.
Regardless of reviews (which again, please leave a negative review to encourage a fix), have any of you fixed this issue? Could you share your fixes?
I also recognize that many folks with much larger VRAM GPUs are not having this issue. Please understand that not everyone has a 4090 and that if people are buying the game who meet and exceed the recommended system specs, they should be entitled to running the game as expected.

Highway 102
So, I understand today is a bit of an exception because of the truck. But sittinv in that traffic made me think, what's the reason for the daily crawl on A HIGHWAY. I'm new to using this highway for my commute as I just moved. But coming home around 4pm~ getting on at bayers lake, off at exit 3a for bedford, but the exit before mine I'm either getting ready to slow down and crawl OR already crawling. And I don't see where the traffic comes from? I get off the highway and see the traffic crawling all the way up that hill just beyond. Circled is my area of issue

Please know that I am actively reporting through the proper channels every update but I wanted to know from the community if I'm not the only one who is experiencing this issue and if there's something I can do from my end to fix it.
When I type a website or search query, there are times that no results are shown. For example, if I type `google.com` no results are shown and I have to remove a character like `m` then it will show results after.
Here's another example if I copy a link from somewhere and paste it on the command bar, if it doesn't show results I press Ctrl + A > Ctrl + X > Ctrl + V

2024.05.17 00:07 WorriedGiraffe3 My pc keeps timing out

Im not very techy when it comes to pc's so I will try my best to explain. My PC will randomly lose connection to the internet when Im in discord or playing games, it shows i have 5000 ping on discord and it will kick me from the game, I have tried a bios update, reinstalling network drivers, flushing DNS, changing my DNS and plugging my pc directly into the routemodem. My games tell me that I timed out and steam and discord tell me I am offline, I can still google stuff when this happens. It occurs every 2-30m for about 30s. Can anyone help me?

2024.05.17 00:05 Shrubbity_69 An alternative "true" evolution to Porygon2, Porygon3. Is it good enough for Gen 9 OU?

An alternative
Art is not mine. I found it here. This is just meant to be a visual aid for what a fully, "3D" Porygon2 evo could look like, assuming it be based on modern graphics (like the progression from blocks, to smooth polygons, to fully textured models).
Most posts like this seem to be focused on making a better Porygon-Z and be hyper offensive. However, that's not the purpose here. I'm going for a more defensive build, since the idea here is that Porygon's line were intended to be bulky, while Porygon-Z is a glass cannon by mistake.
Porygon3
Typing: Normal/Electric (the whole family should have been at least part Electric in the first place. Computer data is literally made up of electrical energy)
Stats: HP: 110 Attack: 50 Defense: 110 Special Attack: 115 Special Defense: 110 Speed: 40 BST: 535 (same as Porygon-Z)
Abilities: 1. Update (new) 2. Download 3. Analytic (Hidden)
Update: Changes the Pokémon’s Normal type to the type of the move it’s using. If the move is the same as one of its original types, the user's typing doesn't change (unless the chosen move is Normal type), but damage dealt by the Pokémon is increased by 30%.
Porygon and Porygon2 have moves that play with it's typing, so Update is meant as the natural progression of the Conversion moves, which never see usage but are very fun and interesting in concept. I hope that it isn't that powerful, and the new weakness of Ground might help balance it a little bit. If Update is too OP, please let me know how you would change it.
Movepool will be basically the same as Porygon2, except that Porygon3 now has Calm Mind, Hyper Voice, and Revival Blessing.
How good is this hypothetical Porygon3?
