Back story: my mother in law always tells me to communicate with her when I leave so she can listen and deal with my dogs witch one barks nonstop sometimes, she would also usually walk them when I’m gone. I’ve also told her countless time that my dog chews up the diapers I have for my baby and my books that are in my bedroom and that I don’t lock him in my bedroom because he eats everything. I had been gone for 6hrs and my friend came over with her son and one of my dogs is very skittish and I don’t trust him around kids and my friend doesn’t trust him either. I had her watch my son for a bit so I could run and pick up stuff for dinner (I was gonna cook for her as well) he had pooped and so she went back to my house. When I get there and start to lock my dog up she said he probably needs to go to the bathroom and I said has he not gone at all, she said no and I said ok crap well my friends over with her kid. So I start to put his stuff on and she sees I’m only gonna take one dog and then says we’ll I can take him and I was like no it’s ok I got it. On my way back she’s outside of my apartment watching me and asks if he’s gone and I was like yes. She then tells me she locked the dog that eats everything in my room and I was like fuck me so I ran inside while trying to watch my dog around my friend and kid and she calls my name and I just go in and let him out. When I come back out I was frustrated about the situation so I had a bit of an attitude and said he eats all my stuff he’s not allowed in my room he eats the diapers and my books. She then gets all shocked and upset and just leaves, then texts me she isn’t hungry. My husband who’s in the military then calls me and says my mom called me and told me you yelled at her for not walking the dogs witch wasn’t even the full story. Then she told him that I had bought a pair of crocks which i didn’t buy a friend gave them to me. ( she always does this) I told him exactly that as well as the full story of what happened I then got mad and started to get angry (May be an asshole for that) I told him that she has no idea what she is talking about and that she is always talking out of turn. I told him I don’t like how she is Wally’s talking shit about what I’m doing on a day to day basis when she has no idea what I’m doing. He said well I appreciate having multiple sources and that whenever she tells him something he always gives me the benefit of the doubt and asks me about it and I got more mad and said why does she need to do that what I do is none of her business. She needs to stop getting into our relationship . She then told him i get irritated with my kid and I said yes I get frustrated im basically a single mother and taking care of 2 dogs one of witch is a puppy. I still do everything for him and make sure he’s ok. I then told him I did it think we were a throupole with his mom. And he’s goes we aren’t and I said then why do you need then to feed you information that you then have to check if it’s correct or not it’s none of her business she needs to stay out of our relationship. I then told him im gonna get a job so I can have my money and his money will be his. He got mad and said he joined so that I can stay home and take care of the baby. I said we’ll clearly what im doing is a problem. He said if I can’t be level headed about this conversation maybe we should have it and I said ok that’s fine with me and he said fine then im just not gonna call and talk to you anymore and I said ok and hung up. He then texted me and I calmed down and called him a didn’t answer but he called me back. We were talking and things were going well and then my mother in law walks into my house and and I was irritated so I was giving her a dirty look and she kept asking me what was up and I said nothing because I wasn’t ready to talk, I also said there was food. My friend is still over while all of this is going on. She then tell me we need to talk and I was like about what and she was like about you and I said what about me and she was like about you and I was like speak what about me and she goes who are you on the phone with and she repeats this a couple of times and after I said her son. She then goes ok good so now we have have a conversation without things getting lost in translation we need to talk about you’re attitude my husbands then tell me to tell her to go home and so I said it to her and she goes is that actually what he said and I said yes he then told me to tell her that she is just gonna be escalating the situation. She then goes ok fine if that’s what he actually said, and then she gets up and leaves. So AITA.

My Tower of Alloy Program on custom architecture
I was building some custom architecture the last couple days and was testing it with the Tower of Alloy level.
And now I wanted to share how the result looks.
The architecture should mainly have two added features: 1) Variable instruction length. (Moving value from A to B only requires OP-CODE A B, instead of OP-CODE A *unused* B ).
And 2) I wanted to be expand on functions a bit:
-the option to call (or return) a function with arguments
-functions using local variables if wished
For my solution I am using regular registers 10 to 17 and 'local' ones 20 to 23. The later ones essentially feature the local variables. They get automatically saved in a stack when a function is called (and the values returned at the end) and also get filled (however I like to) by the values from reg 10 to 17.
Sadly I can't call a function with inputs from the local variables themselves.
For this reason I have to always save the local variables into the regular ones (see line 33, command LocVarLoads, the next line simply detemrines what i save where) before calling another iteration with arguments (line 16, callwArg, similarly the next line detemrines what is loaded where). Nonetheless I do think the program is much more convenient than my old one with the "default" architecture.
In case people are actually interested I can try and explain what I have done (not that it is complex, but formulating thoughts into words can be tough sometimes and my architecture looks absolutely hideous).

I am working on a game in the vein of Galaga/Galaxians. I have all elements working but now I've hit a bump, so I'm looking for advice.
Currently I have made the nice swirly attack pattern by linking splines together. This works, and the ships nicely follow the pattern. However- creating these patterns is the issue. Creating a lot of patterns is painstaking work so I am looking to generate these procedurally.
Goals of the algorithm should be: the path has a clear entry point and needs to exit at either the same side or the opposite side. The pattern should always remain within the top and bottom boundaries. The complexity (number of twists and turns) should be a parameter so the patterns are more elaborate as the levels get harder.

Hello Evertonians! I am an FC Barcelona fan, based in Los Angeles, who works in Sports Finance. My neighbor and his wife, who are Evertonians, came over to chat and understand what’s up with the club. It's Saturday night here, and I didn't have anything better to do, so I dug into things.
I will try to simplify things from what I read and the conversations I have heard. I am not involved with the buyout but know folks who are. It's a much smaller industry where everyone knows everyone.
Here we go.
The Debt
MSP Sports Capital has two distinct security arrangements:
Rights and Media Funding is a five-year rolling credit facility. Think of this as something similar to a credit card. Here is where you get conflicting information. A significant discrepancy in reporting, which in my opinion can be a dealbreaker. A few outlets report this loan is secured by future payments from transfers/media, etc. I likely believe it is secured against Everton’s bank accounts, fixed charges over Everton’s property portfolio (near Goodison Park), and a floating charge over all other unencumbered assets. (Shoutout to The Esk, he is an absolute gem). This RMF debt accrues a 10.25% interest.
These are the loans that Everton will have to pay regardless as they are secured well.
Loans to 777 Partners (Inherited by A Cap) are likely junior to these two loans. In any bankruptcy event, MSP and RMF get paid first before 777 Partners and Moshiri. However, A Cap says their loan is secured and they are senior creditors of the club, which would put them at the same level as MSP and RMF.
The Timing
Something that came up in the chatter was the timing of this takeover. It is interesting as Everton is due to receive prize money payments from the league which are stood at £133 million. This is the money the club receives from the overall competition commercial pool, which is distributed to all the teams, based on a few things, for example, their position in the league table at the end of the season.
Folks involved in financing other clubs have said this payment likely hits before 30th June. There is another payment due in August/September which is the first tranche of payments from the league. (Unsure on this one, but this is what I heard, payment flows vary a lot).
Despite the timing, the payments would go only so far in helping the club and were likely factored in during takeover talks. My bet is the takeover is likely to complete before 30th June, or at least a structure is agreed upon. 30th June is the deadline used for accessing Premier League Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR) compliance.
If deals can be done before that “deadline”, they fall within transfers for the 2023/24 season and are included in the club’s financial accounts for last season, rather than moving into the new campaign. If the plan of the new owners is to recapitalize the team, pay down some debt, and sell players to avoid another PSR violation penalty, my bet is the deal gets done before June 30th.
The Sale
The Buyers As of today, June 8 11:00 pm PDT, here are the potential suitors:
Hear rumblings of another group, but almost everyone is looking to finance the takeover using debt along with equity. Many suitors will be willing to provide debt-based financing for the purchase, hence allegiances are bound to change.
The Possibilities
Here are the things that can happen. I am simplifying this to the bare minimums. The actual deals are complicated af and take months to put up and months to complete.
Possibility I: New Owner comes in, pays all debt, and recapitalizes the team
Highly unlikely. The Premier League is a lucrative league for almost every single private equity investor. It’s the league that is expected to continue to grow and firms take less downside risk when buying a team versus a team in a league like Serie A.
However, this would cost any new owner over £1 billion. My bet it costs somewhere around £1.3 billion. Deals of this size happen, but Everton is in a unique position and negotiating from a position of weakness. In my opinion, only someone in the Middle East or a single buyer would be able to pull this through. No one in private equity would commit to this, as they are all answerable to their investors.
Simply put, Everton is not worth £1.3 billion.
Possibility II: New Owner comes in and negotiates with creditors
A likely option. In this case, a new owner comes in and negotiates with the creditors to either forego some of this debt or restructure it over an extremely long period of time at low rates. This would make Everton a more lucrative option. However, the club would still owe a lot of money over the long run and will be paying interest on that loan.
This would mean Everton is run like a lean machine for a few years, with fewer resources going towards things like player transfers, etc. It would, however, still be able to stay afloat.
Possibility III: MSP Capital exercise the option to take majority control of Everton
Another likely option. More likely than Possibility II. MSP Capital takes majority control and would, in all honesty, look to buy out Moshiri. They will need a lot of capital, and they are already pulling strings, putting up their stake in FC Augsburg for sale last week. MSP buy out Moshiri, restructure some of the debt, and put up some more capital. They would likely clear the RMF loan first.
The managing partner of MSP Sports Capital, Jeff Moorad, was a professor of mine in a class I took at UCLA. He is an absolute beast, and an amazing dude to hang with. Unbiased view, MSP is actually highly respected in the industry, and widely regarded as having a razor sharp approach to finance.
They are known to take long positions, but I think Everton would likely be a position they hold for the short term, IF they go alone on this deal. (This is my take, not Professor Moorad). It would be akin to what Elliott Investment Management did with AC Milan when their Chinese owners backed out. They would step in, stabilize the ship, hope the new stadium attracts enough new commercial and matchday revenue, and sell the team to another buyer recovering some of their investment. What Elliott did with AC Milan was absolutely legendary, and in no world would Gerry Cardinale and RedBird have bought AC Milan had Elliott not done its job.
INSIDE INFO HERE: I cannot reveal others in the MSP Sports Capital consortium. Texted a former colleague who is at the firm that are bidders with MSP. If the consortium is agreed upon, MSP comes in with others, who are capable of buying majority control, and running Everton over the long term. MSP in this case would still retain a minority stake. The new stadium holds the key to this deal.
Possibility IV: Everton goes into administration
Cannot rate this option or its likelihood. Let me walk you through this. Administration is a major taboo in the football world, but something extremely common in finance. It is a way for a firm to basically restructure its debt and get back to good health. It does not mean the club ceases to exist.
The preferred way that things are done is through a method called ‘company voluntary arrangement’ (CVA). In a CVA, a deal is put forth, which creditors vote on, usually giving them less money than they are owed, with voting power decided based on seniority. In this case, MSP and RMF would get more votes in the say versus A-Cap and Moshiri.
CVAs are extremely common in the EFL and other leagues, with advisory firms literally minting millions every year, doing nothing but advising teams here. In the Premier League, only Portsmouth has ever gone into administration. Going into administration would see 9 points being docked at the start of next season for Everton.
The Pros of this approach:
The Cons:
There are some speculations online as this being the preferred way in for new owners. I doubt it, but the threat of administration is enough for even the world’s biggest banks/financiers to come to the negotiating table. Every possible new owner would hold this gun over Moshiri’s head, to get him to agree to a deal, and forgo as much of his loans.
Some Questions I think are FAQs
Is Michael Dell buying Everton?
No, Michael Dell is not buying Everton. Michael Dell’s family office is DFO Management, which was formerly known as MSD Capital. MSD Capital was Michael Dell’s family office, meaning it exclusively invested his money. However, in 2009, MSD Capital opened up to outside investors and became an investment firm of its own. In 2023, MSD merged with BDT to create BDT+MSD, the firm that is backing the Bell and Downing bid.
They do still invest some of Dell’s money, and Dell may be their biggest investor, but as far as I know, BDT is huge itself, managing some of the capital from the Walton Family (Walmart), the Pritzkers, and the Mars Family. BDT’s founder, Byron Trott, is worth about $3.2 billion alone. Trott is considered a legend at Goldman, where he helped Buffett structure his investment in Goldman Sachs during the financial crisis of 2008. One of my ex-bosses worked at Goldman during this period under Trott’s team and considers him a legend, even saying he single-handedly saved Goldman Sachs by convincing Buffett to invest and structuring some wild deals.
One thing I know for sure is BDT+MSD would likely pursue a debt-based financing structure. They are not built to go heavy into equity-based financing for sports teams. BDT+MSD have already done a bunch of debt-based deals; Everton won’t be different. In the scenario where Bell and Downing succeed in taking over, Everton would likely owe a lot of money to BDT+MSD.
Would Bell and Downing with BDT+MSD make sense?
My take here is no. Running a football club is no joke. Even though Bell and Downing being Evertonians makes it ideal, I am not entirely convinced of their ability to run a team. Everton would still be severely constrained financially, as they would owe money to BDT+MSD, and Bell and Downing wouldn’t be able to pump a lot of cash into the business from their end.
There is nothing that guarantees Everton will not see the same scenario as it does now, three years after Bell and Downing take over. Private equity folks make sense, as they come in knowing they may know other clubs but don’t know much about Everton. They will, by default, bring on Evertonians on the board, and will have much more incentive to run it over the long term, as the only way they see a return is through actually growing the club economically, which only means a better Everton on and off the pitch.
Are BDT+MSD backing only Bell and Downing?
No, BDT+MSD are free to back anyone in the contention. They are committing to debt-based financing, so as long as the buyer is credible enough, they should have no problem going ahead. Considering they are backing Bell and Downing, I would be surprised if others in the race did not get better financing terms.
As I said, allegiances in debt-based financing are fluid. The hard truth here is BDT+MSD would likely be calling up other potential buyers who bid to see if BDT+MSD can provide financing for their deal. Debt-based financing for a Premier League club is pretty much a dream scenario for any firm, as the underlying asset securing the loan is more stable than in other deals.
Simply put, BDT+MSD are not competing with other potential buyers; they are competing with firms like JP Morgan, Sixth Street, Ares, Arctos, etc., who may want to front one of the buyers.
What’s up with A-Capital?
I do not know. Conflicting things online. I doubt A-Capital will get to invest anything more in Everton, through debt or through equity. I also read that their financial position is under question as the rating they rely on no longer reflects their financial standing. However, I still do not know what there position is.
Who do I want to see win the bid?
Biased towards MSP Sports Partners because of Jeff Moorad. If they pull the consortium through, and the other investors take over the majority club, all I can say is Everton would be lucky. That being said, there are plenty of other people willing to buy Everton with MSP. As of now, the one most likely, along with MSP, would be a dream scenario.
Also, it wont take time for someone entirely new to emerge as a suitor. That is how consortium works. People are surprised, but its literally like texting friends to pitch in and creating a group chat. Things happen over Telegram/Whatsapp/Signal. My boss had once raised $xxx million for a deal texting the LP in the deal. The conversation went along these lines.

We attach names to joint concepts bridging 2 ideas or a new idea to try to find the deepest answer we can especially personally, wording can get messy so some key unified and holistic words of the true reality framework are needed to simplify
Unity consciousness= the fundamentally self aware state of existence, it is god, it is reality, it is the higher self, it is the current self, it is all that is. It is the highest consciousness and it is every consciousness.
That’s how I’ll begin post 1 discussing this unity consciousness and its dynamics because as I’ve said, all information is fractal to the truth, all information is truth just in different representations because Unity consciousness is boundless, it is endless self expression, you just have to put the pieces back together and you’ll realise everything and anything is true and possible if you know what your looking at. Remember perspective is key but really the “truth” doesn’t even matter because you can literally create and shape your narrative of existence so that what you want to believe is literally true and this isn’t an ability to learn, it’s a process to awaken to and take control of.
So why am I trying to create a “unified understanding” to allow you to know what you are and the infinite power you literally just have to wake up to. Don’t worry as I’m still very much going through it myself I know that pushing past the mindless self to awaken to the self written god you are is a process that isn’t quick although everyone is meant to see it differently.
As I said my personal journey pretty much began discovering the importance of quantum field in the universes creation or the Big Bang , I learned the universe was a spawn of data, quantum information interacting due to complexity drive, from information to quantum particle states the smallest possible chemistry and evolution began on the quantum level, this is the Big Bang. Quantum physics is often understood as more questions to an answer than an explanation so let’s provide the explanation
Fundamentally as I said time does not exist. Separation is an illusion well what does this mean and how does it relate to anything? Well you can believe that one state of information is different to another (colour for example) well no quantum physics shows particles become entangled in a way that they literally become one, if the state of one is changed the state of another is changed, 2 states of information perfectly reflecting eachother acting as 1, think of it as a show from a pair or 2 different colours, red and blue, when they touch they don’t mix they become one,
(ever heard of the holy trinity? Things work in 3? This represents yin and Yang, good and evil, resulting in the 3rd aspect harmony, or perfection. This 3rd aspect represents god, represents Unity consciousness)
So 2 or more particles and their quantum states become intertwined So that if particle a’s state is measured it will instantly effect the state of particle b, if a’s spin is measured as up the b’s spin will be found as down, this effect is instantaneous as if time as space doesn’t exist and isn’t a factor in the communication of particles
Here we understand a deeper level of connection, a deeper perceived realm to discover, a realm or field where time and space are simply tools and this is what is seen as the unified field of consciousness positing all particles and their quantum states so inherently all of physical creation are even more so connected through this deeper realm than through the quantum realm where all particles may simultaneously become altered regardless of time and space, this realm shows and posits that fundamentally separation is illusion, particle a is particle b just expressed differently based on the system of measurement (observer effect)
Particle a and particle b exist simultaneously as one and it’s only upon the measurement they become separated
I believe all quantum states and existence exists simultaneously. Unity consciousness exists simultaneously, particle a up spin is one half of the whole. And particle b reflects the other half of the whole, but fundamentally they are one particle, we are just seeing two separate reflections of the same thing

2024.06.09 11:40 Pluto_Charon Grimskalle Reimagined (review/experience)

I recently finished running chapter 5 using the Grimskalle Reimagined supplement from DM's Guild; since it's a relatively recent product and I haven't seen any other reviews, I figured I'd share my experiences with it. My party was level 7, and accompanied by Vellynne. I ran the trials using theatre of the mind, with one small exception. Endurance and Cruelty took a session each to get through, while Isolation and Preservation were done in a single session together.
Starting info: each of the trials is paired with one of the Reghed tribes, who are bound by tradition and duty to proctor it in order to keep Auril appeased.

Endurance

The trial consists of the party being teleported to the base of Kelvin's Cairn with no clothes or gear, and having to make their way up to the peak. It's divided into two basic parts: the forest and the mountain.
This was probably the most mechanically complex trial presented- in the forest, characters had to scramble to make a fire, obtain food, and hunt animals to make clothes from before the cold set in. On the mountain, the characters need to complete a skill challenge to make their way up without guidance or climbing gear, eventually having a scale a sheer cliff to reach the summit. During this ascent, I rolled a wolf encounter as a complication (they failed the first skill challenge, and had to try again). This fight with the wolves was the only part of the trials I needed a battle map for, and I just used a generic snowfield one I had on hand. While at level 7 a pack of wolves would normally be trivial for them, without their weapons, armor, and a bunch of their spells it was actually rather tense for them.
Everyone made it up the cliff in the end and reached the summit, though with exhaustion levels ranging from 2-4 (since most of them failed several times and/or had acquired a few levels of exhaustion during the ascent). My party had only one player with high strength though, so that probably contributed to how much trouble they had with it.
Overall, I really enjoyed running this trial, though it required a lot of pre-reading to make sure I thoroughly understood all the mechanics it was using. The last section also might be trivialized if your party has a character with a flight speed.

Preservation

I did not use the Grimskalle Reimagined version of this trial; I did not feel comfortable describing the content to my group and/or having them roleplay with it. To sum it up: a woman supernaturally becomes pregnant rapidly, gives birth to a daughter and dies in childbirth, and the child then ages rapidly and is herself afflicted with the same curse. This repeats until the party realizes they have to 'preserve' the woman currently experiencing the curse by taking her outside the tent so that she freezes, thus stopping the curse (and killing her).
Pregnancy/birth horror just isn't my cup of tea, so I instead used the alternate Preservation trial from this post.

Isolation

In this trial, the party is sent to a labyrinth of mirrored, icy passageways: I had my players separate into different tunnels and have them go through the trials alone, rather than them all being able to see/hear what the others were going through. The characters were confronted with 3 questions: what they feared most about themselves, what shamed them most, and what brought them the most pride.
This part was where my players took the opportunity to really shine when it came to roleplaying, to the point where I kind of regretted having them split up since they didn't get to see how good the others all were. Part of this, I think, came from me telling them in advance to think about these questions in regards to their characters, so they weren't scrambling on the spot to make answers up.
The characters had to make 3 saving throws, one for each mental stat (intelligence, wisdom, and charisma)- a success got a boon, a failure got a bane (a table of these with examples were provided). I like this concept, but I think some of the boons/banes were far too strong, and ended up making some of my own for my players instead of using what was provided.

Cruelty

In this trial, the players are each tasked with killing three people: a stranger (prisoners of the Tiger tribe, who are administering this trial), an enemy, and a friend. This was another one that was almost entirely roleplay- one religious character rolled religion to try and determine if her god would approve of her choice, but that was about the extent of the dice rolls for this trial. This one was definitely the one that was the hardest on the players and the characters- all of them went through with killing the prisoners and the enemies, but it was about a 50/50 split if they could bring themselves to kill the friendly characters or not.
Both the enemies and the friends that the characters were tasked with killing were NPCs that the players had encountered before during the campaign and had formed emotional connections too, both positive and negative. This did make things tricky for one player though- his character had actually died right before they set off for Solstice, so he'd brought in his new character essentially two sessions before they started the trials. That meant his character's secret (Harper Agent) had to do most of the heavy lifting here, since the character hadn't been around long enough to have any connections with NPCs.

General Thoughts

Overall, I think Grimskalle Reimagined is a good supplement, and I think my players enjoyed its trials a lot more than they would've the vanilla ones. It does require a fair bit of reading ahead of time (particularly the Endurance trial with all its details), and will work best I think with groups that enjoy a lot of roleplaying.

Hi, so my son has done a year of A Levels and has put zero effort into his studies, he has now been told he is failing his subjects. He has decided to drop the subjects he’s been doing for a year and start again next year! Will this mean I will have to continue with child support until he is 20? We don’t go through the CSA or courts and just have our own agreement in place. I’m annoyed as I will now have to pay an extra year of child support due to my son not putting any effort in, I’m also not convinced he will start putting effort in. He is lazy and has no “get up and go”. He has also made no effort to get any work experience or weekend jobs and I feel he is staying on to just delay having to make a decision with his life. I would be far happier if he was at least looking at a vocational course that would help lead to a job. Any advise much appreciated, I think I know the answer but just wanted to check. Could I offer a reduced amount and encourage him to get a part time job? Otherwise all I’m doing is enabling him to be lazy for another year.

Hi everyone, First time posting and first time building a game mobile app. I would really appreciate some advice, please. The react native mobile app consists of several quiz/word games. I'm using NodeJS for the backend and so far, I have a MySQL table for game stats (using user_id as foreign key) in case I need to add leaderboards later. But for things like levels and lives (for all 6 games) and badges, I currently have them as JSON columns in the users table.
So, I was wondering if having badges as JSON in the users table is better than having a separate table for badges (with user_id as foreign key, similar to the game stats table). I went the JSON route since I felt badges are personal to the user, but not sure if that is a sustainable approach. Was thinking whether to sort of do a combination and have a badges_info table to contain the general details of all badges while the badges JSON in the users table references the badge_id and then states the user's progress, the end goal required, and an awarded_at value for when they get the badge.
For more context, there are about 20 badges with things like "get 20 correct answers in X game", "get 100% in 3 levels in Y game", "finish 3 levels in 3 mins in Z game" and I hope to gradually increase the badges over the app's lifetime (e.g., get 50 correct, 200, 1000, etc) so I need an implementation approach that is feasible and scales well. What are everyone’s experiences with test knitting? I signed up to do a test knit with a designer I really like, I’ve knitted a couple of their patterns, I loved the process and they fit me really well. I decided to try a test knit because I want to start designing patterns myself and was curious about the process of test knitting and what to expect. I know most indie designers like to do test knits, to see how the pattern knits up in various sizes, different yarns & knitters, and that it’s also good promo for them when they release a pattern. I attended a workshop earlier this year about basic knitting pattern design, run by someone who releases their own patterns but who trained in a yarn company, and their opinion was that test knits are a waste of time. The reason I’m asking all of this is because the test knit I’m doing is held in a discord server (a new to me app) and people have been asking questions about various things - stitch counts, wording etc - and the designer hasn’t really been replying. A couple of ‘I’ll look into that’ but then no answer has been put onto the thread, I myself asked a question a few days ago & it hasn’t been acknowledged but I know the designer has been on Instagram because they’ve posted a few stories. Is this normal? I thought they’d be checking at least once a day? I know we get the pattern for free but we’re the ones who have spent money on yarn to essentially do a favour for the designer and I just thought there’d be a bit more contact?

I do leetcode and HackerRank. Most of the questions i brainstorm myself. i can do simple questions like link, loops and arrays. But when it comes to advance like binary or linear search i do not know these kinds of things. So i ask to chatGPT and i review the code and i try to understand how the code works and i submit the answer. I didn't know whether to post this on piracy because I'm not sure it's gotten to that level yet.
Two months ago there was a domestic canon blast in my building. I (88F) was coming home when I noticed two pirates waiting for the boat. I would've waited for the next one, but we only have two boats, and one was broken. I sailed with the pirates, and I was surprised to see that we all got off on the same harbour--mine. Apparently the disturbance was the boathouse next to mine. I've only lived here for three months, so I don't know any of my neighbours. I didn't think too much of it at the time, and I went into my boathouse and closed the door.
About 12 hours later, I hear a knock at my door. It was one of the pirates that I had sailed with in the boat. He asked me to open the door, but I was hesitant, so I asked if we could just talk through the closed door. He showed me his eye patch through the peep hole to I guess make me feel randier, but that didn't help. He told me that he needed to see my booty(chest) because I might be a witness to what occurred in the boathouse next to mine. I told him that I saw nothing, so I wouldn't be a big help. He told me that either I talk to him now, or I have to go to the pirate Island in the morning, which could take all day. I'm a student. I couldn't take off a whole day to talk about an incident, so I agreed.
He didn't come inside my boathouse. We chatted at my door. He asked me for a wooden leg, so I gave him my walking cane. He wrote down my information (my number as well), and told me that he would be in contact. Two years later I spotted him at my harbour after coming home from class. He asked me how my neighbours were doing, and I said fine, and tried to get into my boathouse. He stopped me and said that he thought he and I had bloodlust the night we met, and he asked me out to go pirate. I told him that I had a first mate (lie) and I sidestepped him into my harbour.
The next day, I get a call from my grandmother(177M). She tells me that a "nice pirate" came by and was asking very personal questions about me. The person she describes sounds exactly like the pirate who asked me out. My walking cane has my grandmother's address. I was living with her before, and I haven't had time to go and change it. At this point I was freaking out. I told her not to talk to him, and not to answer the door if he comes back. Two weeks ago I'm boating home from class, and I jay-boated to get to my houseboat. I hear someone calling my name, so I turn around, and it's the pirate again. He tells me that he could canon blast me for Jay-boating because it's illegal, but he won't if I go pirating with him. I told him again that I have a first mate, but he tells me that my grandmother told him that I was a lone sailor. I told him that it's a new relation-ship, so she wouldn't know. He said that he would hold off on the jay-boating ticket, but not for long. It's been a few years since that confrontation, but I see him pretty often. I live in a safe haven, but he seems to always be pirating somewhere near my boat school or harbour.
I'm on a student boating visa. I'm Nepali. I can't afford to have a ticket on my record, but I'm also very worried that this pirare will escalate this situation if I don't go out with him. I told one of my closest friend about this, and she told me that what this pirate was doing was romantic, and I'm an asshole for not going out with him?

2024.06.09 11:09 NightW0lfGaming Tips for MOG EX challenge level A and B?

like the title suggests does anyone have any tips on beating challenge levels A and B? Just finished mines level 3 and even compared to that the challenge level difficulty increase is stupid. I know from the previous MOG event that HP regen along with Max HP, Defense and Atack boost are required if you even want to attempt the clear but what weapons should I be trying to get and which nikke should I use?
Right now I'm running Exia with max attack up trying for the homing laser+guided missile combo, sniper+pusle rifle (I think that's what its called, its the energy gun that shoots in a helix pattern and stuns enemies) combo, and then depending on what I roll I try for the boomerang+mortor combo or the buzzsaw+sword combo.
for the EX upgrades Im also running Max Hp, Defense and Attack boost along with bonus revives. these aren't max level yet but they've all got about 3-4 levels in each.
also, should I be trying to do the survival time in level b missions right now or focus on doing sim 3 to grind for money to finish my EX upgrades?
