So we got a ticket for our plate frames obscuring the "new york" part of the plate. The plate cover was given to us and installed by the dealership themselves, we didn't ask for it - it came with the car. We took it off but we still have this ticket.
The fine is not that expensive but come on. We see everyone with these things around and we did not even put it on the car. The toll cameras read the plates just fine obviously.

Can we get the dealership to pay the fine? Is it worth the hassle to fight this in court? Is building up a record of these silly fines going to affect his life in some way down the road? That is the main reason we would fight this.
Any advice is appreciated.

It is absolutely unacceptable that we can't have a reasonable idea who our "teammates" are in ranked a.k.a. who will use the same pit garage as us.
A simple message we have in other modes saying "team-mate is in the pits" would be enough but I'd much rather have the pairings clearly visible before the race.
Yes, we can press 5 buttons mid-raceto get an approximate bearing, while we focus on the race and on dodging assholes who ram everyone but it's simply not good enough.
Complete ghosting in the pits would also be acceptable not just because of this issue but to avoid people ramming each other in the pit entry, causing wing damage to one and 5 seconds penalty for speeding to the other.
The best thing would be if we could use the real cars in ranked instead of the custom cars but I see why they wouldn't do that. People love their custom liveries and so do I.
The amount of times I got screwed by the pit shit and lost 5-8 seconds is too much.

So this new series seemed to be really fun to complete when I saw the patch update video. However, you likely need all the 2023 lemans cars to be at all 3 upgrades. That's expensive, considering the event only gives 86 gold in return. Only tiers 1, 25, 26 have all cars available to race with, the rest are limited to one. That's not fun either. It's like an exclusive series but only with 3-4 tiers for each car.
This series should've been a normal one with all cars available in all tiers, with tracks that these cars race on for 3-4 tiers, finishing with lemans.
I guess the new devs want to mix things up a little, but this is really scammy.

Hi fellow iRacers, This week am doing the 40min GT sprint on Suzuka in the Porsche 992 and in the first 25 to 30min the car is really listening to my inputs and have a very good grip. In the last 15min the car seems to have very bad grip. Tyre wear black box shows that front left and rear left are about 78% and the other two tyres around 84%. Am new to iRacing so am not if those numbers are good or bad but I remember when I drove the M4 the past 2 weeks in the same series I was not really suffering in the last 15min as I do in the 992, also I have soloed Sebring 3hr in the 992 and the tyres didn’t feel that bad after 60min. So my question, is it just track and car combination? I know from ACC that the Porsche is very intense on rear tyres but am not sure about iRacing Tyre modeling. Will increasing TC during last 15min help persevere tyres better? Thanks

So here's the deal. I'm a paint and body kind a guy. Not a rebuilding engines kind of guy. Not even really much of a car performance kind of guy. After I get done painting my F150, I'm going to have quite a bit of blue and white paint left over. So, I plan on giving my 02 Escort ZX2 a touch up.
As kind of a tribute to the old 60's rally Escorts I'm going to paint it in the American racing colors (I know 60's escorts were British... but me, my car, and the company are American. Plus, I already have the blue and white paint.) It's white already, but it's going to end up white with two blue stripes over the top and a blue underbody. Maybe I'll do a car number on the doors. Maybe not.
But here's the thing, I don't want to have it looking like a rally racer, but then otherwise be completely bone stock. Also, performance parts made for late escorts are pretty much nonexistent.
Most things I see are adding turbos or superchargers... that just seems a little over my head. So far, I'm working on building a shaker hood (paint and body guy) so it can breath better. And shaker hoods are badass.
This thing isn't going to be in any races, but it'd nice if it could handle washboarded dirt roads with ease. I know coilovers, sway bars, etc also get recommended a lot, but A) I don't know much about them and B) I can barely find OEM/salvage parts for this car let alone performance parts. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Je recherche une bd que j'ai lu en école primaire et dont j'ai complétement perdu la trace. On l'avait emprunté pendant l'année a un marchant ambulant. Ça raconte l'histoire d'un jeune homme, qui part a l'aventure avec un artefact magique, mais je ne me souviens que de flash de l'histoire. Cela se passe en 2 tome. L'histoire est adaptée a des enfants, surtout pas les dessins très coloré et enfantins,mais quand même plutôt adulte, car il y a quelques intrigues politique et quelques mort. Je me souviens qu'il y avait plusieurs races, dont une qui était plus puissante que les autres. Je me souviens aussi qu'à la fin, le personnage principal, que je suis quasiment sur qu'il s'appelle noah, est jeté en dehors d'une zone où le temps et plus lent donc il vieilli. A la toute fin, il se retire dans une cabane dans les bois loin de la ville principale de l'histoire, ou il y fait des jouets en bois pour des enfants.
