I've been curating this list for 3 years https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/16im and is up to date with Outlaws of Thunder Junction. It also can be drafted for non-two-headed giant edh.
Tips
  1. determine size - the bigger it gets the more difficult to maintain. casual-friendly 960 is a solid number because you could draft it twice with 8 people without cards repeating.
  2. make it casual-friendly - the average commander player does not have a lot of experience drafting and is the bulk of the player base. A cube is an investment, and if you want to use the cube often... Then you will have to coax new people at LGS's and events to try it. I wanted people's first time to be a good one to remember.
  3. determine draft rules - packs are 20 cards, draft two cards per pick. Same as commander legends https://magic.wizards.com/en/formats/commander-draft
  4. curate around archetypes - I picked the most popular to also encourage people to try it. Control, aggro, group slug, lifegain, voltron, +1/+1 counters, flicker, and reanimator.
  5. avoid multiple pips - because your commander pigeonholes your colors, I reduced pip representation so you don't draft dead cards. You can observe this in the nonbasic lands and I limited multicolored cards to just playable commanders.
  6. record balancing thoughts - I keep a notebook in the box, and jot thoughts as they come up. For instance, commanders who protect themselves are too op in a limited format so I axed them. Group slug cards also needed to be pruned a little, damage doubles due to life totals being shared. I only recommend cards that drain or damage for 1. This also helps me remember under and over performers. As a result, I cultivated a list that generates nastalgic feelings of fair magic.
  7. catalog list - my favorite part about Cube Cobra is it shows ur editing history. So if you ever wanted to add things back, that info is readily available. This also helps guarantee color and archetype balance.

hi guys i am an 18yo from algeria and one day my family decided to go to qatar so that we all can work .
i was happy because i got to visit another country and meet people from different nationalities and stuff.
8 months passed it was a hell for me they were putting blame on me for not finding a job they expected their kid that they never allowed to even go out or have friends nor let him practice a sport to be able to have confidence to find a job that pays well. what made me irritated the most that they did absolutely nothing to my older brother who is clearly have more experience and my older brother himself was sometimes start a fight with my parent to the point where he threaten by holding a knife .
anyways two weeks ago i put some effort and could land a job a very good one actually in a tourism agency and i thought my nightmare stopped .well nope ,my parents asked me to teach my older brother how to do what i am doing in my job ,the problem is my brother doesnt even know how to use microsoft word or even how to save a photo from google to his desktop it will take me a year to teach him everything i do but they want me to teach him in summer in my free time which is maximum of 2 hours a day i work from 12pm to 9pm . i told them that the internet would be a better option for him to learn there is millions of tutorials on youtube and udemy etc but my words were like blasphemy.
i am planning to move out and rent a studio/1 room apartment and send them money every month all of it except the money that i will use for my self development.
is my decision to leave them because of this selfish?

hi all, i left high school 1 and a half years ago, and since then I don’t have any friends. i used to have two close friends, but they moved away to different cities. i met them through high school. i don’t know why it’s so hard to make new friends. i’m not studying, just working and i guess it’s hard to make new friends when doing my work since it’s mainly with older people. i do get along with everyone there but they’re older and have kids, serious relationships etc. i just don’t know what’s wrong with me, maybe i give the vibe that im not interested to making friends or getting close to anyone? i’m just anxious, quiet, shy around new people and don’t know what to talk about. i want to make new friends but im scared to reach out to old/past friends and don’t know how to make new ones. it’s just embarrassing. i feel like i don’t reach out unless other people reach out first. and no one does. i guess everyone is caught up in their own lives and it’s completely understandable. i just wish i wasn’t so weird and deterred people away from me. maybe i should seek counselling or therapy. but yes to add on top of this all i have trauma and lots of bad experiences in my hometown, and it’s the same people over and over. maybe i should move away? but it will be expensive. but i think its time for a fresh start. go somewhere where no one knows me and i don’t know anyone else. it will be refreshing. but yeah i think i am just stuck in this bad loop here. i do have this lovely boy i am really close to here though and he’s all i really got besides my family. we’ve gotten very close over the past 8 months, he’s all i hang out with and talk to mainly. we both have feelings for each other. we met through a dating app. if i move it will be hard letting him go.
anyways, any tips, advice on my current situation? i know i should definitely push my self out of my comfort zone. but yeah i think i just don’t fit in with most the people my age, im still trying to find my crowd and i just haven’t found a friend group yet. its lonely and i feel ashamed and embarrassed. everyone else seems to have it all together and lots of friends my age. i’m 19. im not expecting a huge friend group or anything but just a few close friends. but i just don’t feel wanted anywhere, and that’s probably because i don’t make myself feel wanted anywhere. it’s like im sabotaging myself and i need to pull myself out of it.

2024.05.20 11:56 neonbutchery Travel pillow for irritated nostril piercing?

I got symmetrical nostrils done three months ago and they've healed pretty well (the only hard part about the healing was the itching), and haven't had any trouble so far other than you average bumps from touching them too much that went away as soon as I left them alone. Today I woke up with pain in the left side of my nose, and when I went to check, I saw my left nostril piercing had gotten snagged. I washed my hands and put it back into place, and then cleaned it with a gauze and saline solution (my piercer told me to get those to clean my piercings while they were healing) since there was some blood too, and now I'm just leaving it be and it will probably calm down. But I really want to avoid having to deal with this again until my piercings are fully healed. I move around a lot when sleeping, so I don't trust myself to only sleep on one side. Would a travel pillow be useful in order to keep this from, or at least lessen the chances of it happening again?
The jewelry I'm currently wearing are internally threaded titanium nostril studs. It was the one I was pierced with and I don't plan on changing it any time soon since ATM my plan is to wear a chain between them.

For context, I had two best friends. Let’s call them Sophia and Hana. We were a trio from year 1 (beginning of middle school) until year 4 (nearing the end of middle school). When I thought the trio was back, Sophia told me how Hana had been talking badly about me ever since we reconciled. Oh, what a surprise—it turns out they got together. The news broke me slightly, his promise was broken. But that wasn’t the worst part. Why is the broker not a legitimate broker?
Because they do not hold a license from any government regulator. Any online broker, must be licensed and regulated. If they are accepting clients from South Africa, they must be licensed by the FSCA.
The information presented by AstuteFidelity on their website is confusing, and not accurate.
They list 2 addresses, one in the USA and one in Australia. Meanwhile they are not licensed by ASIC in Australia, or by the NFA or SEC or CFTC in the United States.
Bottom line, they are just another broker that will disappear soon.

Alright I am to be as clear as I can for anyone who has questions or has comments. So it's been about I year I had a little girl with my now ex things ended badly due reason I will get in to if any one is interested so long story short I am sure my ex is trying to take me to court to stop me seeing my child I am not viloent person but I do have bit of temper but I have never hurt my ex or my child or anyone else I've been in a romantic relationship anyway getting on with why I think this so I had long bitch to mate of mine about said ex an things thay have been doing to just in general annyoe me well I had bit of an argument yesterday because am in the middle of moving so my house is bit up in the air an consisting I watch our child while she was moving with out complaining she keeps bringing her down to what is complete chaos so that was the comment I made to her witch she replied to me that I am never on time picking my child up or dropping them off witch I know isn't true because I had feeling for about 12 mouths give or take she's Tring to find any reason to take me to court for example she blocks me at the drop of hat witch wudnt bother rif we didn't have child together and wants have things on email for those who do not know WhatsApp can not be used in court of law because of the terms of agreement witch is pain but also a blessing so she's trying to get me to talk to her on things that can be. Now I do my best to keep any an all convos about are child because I want nothing to do with me for the stuff she has said an accused me off ( I know am being vague it's deliberate because some how I have had 4 reddit accounts with all different names an she has found them an picked fights over them) this is my 5th so if it gets deleted you know why any so talking to friends of mine an he things she narssicic she donsnt hold herself accountable to my knowledge I am always to blame and she has nothing nice to say about me an talks behind my back any changes she gets. Now am not a perfect father but am trying my best am trying to be consistent and have bond with my child I see her 3 days a week she currently doesn't stay in my house but that's due to the above. 2024.05.20 08:27 Wrong-Courage9456 Do Branchial Cleft Cysts need to be removed?

I 22F was born with a second cleft cyst. My parents opted to leave it in. It has remained small, about the size of a pea my entire life. It doesn't really hurt unless I get sick with a cold or flu, but sometimes when I swallow I feel a tugging sensation that connects directly to the cyst.
Are babies born with branchial cleft cysts usually recommended surgery or to leave it in? I've read online that these cysts can get infected and cause issues. I've never had problems with it aside from the tugging sensation when swallowing and mild pain when I get sick, but if it could cause issues later in life, I'd rather deal with it now. Can these cysts be harmless/never cause issues? Since I've been fine so far, what are the chances it will cause issues?
My parents were weird about medical care (anti-vax, anti-prescription medication, very into "natural healing" with herbs and supplements, etc.) so I'm curious how often cleft cyst are removed vs. left in.

2024.05.20 08:06 rickypotentially I miss my best friend of 4 years, and I wish he knew it

Sorry for the formatting, im on mobile(just a heads up, this is a very long post) Also, this is my first reddit post so im sorry if this is the wrong sub, i just need to speak my mind. When I was 13, right around when covid happened, I frequented tumblr a lot. It was my main mode of using social media, and through it I posted a lot of art, reblogged stuff about fandoms I was in at the time, the works. A couple months into me using it(near february of 2020), this one person followed me and reblogged a lot of my art and always put such nice things in the tags, it made me so giddy! It was like having a fan kind of. In return I did the same thing; this other person did art semi frequently and we shared a Fandom that we both interacted with a lot. A couple months later, I end up making a tumblr group chat, back when those still existed, and this person joined it. For the next few months, we talked daily using this group chat; talking about school and the sorts. I found out through these conversations that he lived quite a few states away(we both live in the United States), and that he was also in the same grade as me(we were both going into our freshman years and starting high school). Eventually, I remember because in those stupid group chats, you weren't able to send images through them and I was complaining about not being able to send him something. To that he suggested sending it through DMs, which I did. This is what started a period of nearly four years of talking to each other, every single day. If we didn't talk, it was because of something we couldn't control; whether it be travel or it be some other thing; we were just that inseparable. I never learned his real name over those four years; I never learned where he lived or where he went to school or anything, I only knew we were the same age and his nickname was Will. Do I know if Will was short for anything? I don't know, but I wish I did. We went through so much together; I was there for him when he had familial issues with his mom and dad(stuff that's so bad I would never type it out), he was there for me when I was suicidal and depressed, he was one of a kind. I felt like at the end of the day, I could go to him and talk to him about anything I so wished, and he'd at least listen. When I was around that age, I constantly struggled with being called a "therapist friend", and being used by those at the time as someone to just rant to and that was really it. But with Will, it was so much more. He was my rock, and I was his. Months before things just came to a halt, he started growing distant. Always the excuse that he was busy, but I could see he was online, just ignoring me. It was becoming very hurtful to me; to have said something to just be ignored for hours on end and to recieve a dry reply in return. It was then that I began to realize he had been dry for a while, but that's just the way he talked, really. It was always an "ok", or a, "oof"(we talked in very lamence terms) or something among the lines. I remember on a couple occasions I would mention him coming to my home city one day and it would be replied to with an "oh" or "ok". It was then that I started to kind of realize that we were putting not equal efforts in our friendship anymore. Eventually I remember, it was February 2nd of 2024, it just became so real. The guy that had been there for me through the past four years of my life had just...seemed to stop caring. I remember, when I would go out of town and would have no cell service, I'd hate not being able to text him. He was my best friend in the entire world, he was kind of like my platonic soul mate. I remember making a game plan to try and get him to leave his home because I knew his home situation was bad; I remember thinking about how we could meet one day, and I'd finally get to see what he even looked like. But on that day in February, I broke. I told my mom, and she told me to just...stop texting him. So I kind of did. I told him that I wasn't going to use tumblr anymore and that I was going to delete it. We both had each other's discords, but I barley replied after the last few messages he sent. The last one he sent me was on March 1st, and I never replied to it. I had become so numb to him, it was painful to leave my best friend behind, but in my heart I knew it was the right desicison. I left because it felt like our friendship was going nowhere; after four years I didn't even know his name, I never even got his phone number. I gave him mine on two occasions, but...nothing. I remember we'd exchange stories that we were writing simultaneously, we'd exchange art of each other's favorite characters and ocs. I miss it. I miss him. I remember, writing a message that was nearly 2000 words long to him, but I never sent it. I was too scared, that the guilt would get the best of me. I ghosted my best friend of 4 years, and I fucking miss him. I wish he knew it, because I loved him so much. I wish we could have what we had back. I wish we could have had more; I wish we could have had one of those dramatic airport scenes where we find each other past all of the gates and stuff in the entrance of the airport and hug each other, being in the moment. But we never did, and never will. I miss you Will. If you somehow see this, I just want you to know that I'm sorry.
