2023.09.28 07:07 TheLevelNZ Potent opioid sold as fake oxycodone tablets: what you need to know

Kia ora, we're The Level - a drug harm reduction project run by the NZ Drug Foundation.
Recently, our friends at High Alert put out a notification about a potent opioid - metonitazine - being sold as oxycodone in yellow pills or powders. These may be linked to a death and several hospitalisations.
These have been sold on online with metonitazine in the description of the pills, but no indication of how much metonitazine is in each pill. We're concerned people may be getting these pills and not knowing what they contain or how potent they are.
Metonitazine is very strong and an amount the size of a few grains of salt could cause overdose. We'd recommend not taking yellow pills or powders. If you are, though:
Head to our website for more info, including how to use naloxone and where you can get naloxone from.

2023.07.06 19:44 MrTorpedo77 Hormone Optimization

Below is a copy paste from an email newsletter I received from Mike Mahler, whom I buy a testosterone booster etc. Take it for what you will, just wanted to share another opinion on the matter for those interested.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ANDREW HUBERMAN’S HORMONE OPTIMIZATION INFORMATION?

From what I have seen his understanding of hormone optimization is very antiquated, to say the least. While he may be an expert on Neuroscience, I don’t know enough to know either way, he is definitely not an expert on what is viable for hormone optimization a field I have been studying since 2005. For example, he has put out information on the best workouts to increase testosterone and growth hormone. Using training to address poor anabolic hormone levels is not going to cut it. As I have stated numerous times you need optimal anabolic hormones going into a workout rather than having the illusion that you can optimize hormones via training. Whatever increase in testosterone and growth hormone you derive from training is short-lived and will not last long enough to have any pronounced benefit. In other words, you’re not going to go from low testosterone levels to ideal testosterone just from training. If anything intense training will lower your testosterone levels which is one of many reasons why aging trainees find it difficult to progress and often arduous just to maintain strength and size.
Intense training increases inflammation which in turn increases cortisol an anti-inflammatory hormone to reduce excess cortisol. When cortisol goes up, Testosterone, DHEA, Pregnenolone, and Growth Hormone subside. This is why recovery is paramount as discussed in this article.
Next, I have heard Huberman refer to Turkesterone a phytoecdysteriod which is essentially a plant and insect steroid as comparable to the anabolic Anavar. Just because a plant compound has a chemical structure similar to an anabolic doesn’t mean it will have anabolic effects when consumed. Turkesterone first came on the scene in the late 90s early 2000s and it did not take off for the same reason why most supplements never get out of first gear, it simply didn’t work. Whenever I see anyone recommend or even worse sell Turkesterone I automatically don’t trust any information they promulgate. In addition to being ineffective, most of the turkesterone supplements on the market are underdosed. Of course, in some ways, this is immaterial, as no matter what the dosage it’s not going to be effective. My friend and legit supplement expert Jerry Brainum did a fantastic breakdown on turkesterone for his YouTube channel
For supplements to boost the natural production of testosterone, Huberman recommends Fadogia Agrestis and Tongkat Ali. Tongkat Ali can cause an increase in testosterone if your levels are very low. For example, if you have a total testosterone of 300 ng/dl, it may get you to 400ng/dl. The problem is that is still a terrible level and it is unlikely you will feel any different. If you have decent levels such as 500 ng/dl it is unlikely that you will experience any increase at all. Huberman claims Tongkat Ali increases free testosterone but I don’t buy it. I have used Tongkat Ali several times since 2005 and never saw an increase in free testosterone. Tongkat Ali can increase libido which while beneficial doesn’t mean an increase in testosterone occurred. There are several herbs that can increase libido such as Tribulus, Muira puama, Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium), and Yohimbe but none of these herbs increase testosterone.
Fadogia as I have mentioned in previous articles has some merits and was one of the ingredients I considered for my Aggressive Strength Testosterone Booster back in 2010. Once I tried Bulbine Natalensis, I forgot all about Fadogia as Bulbine does everything Fadogia does but does it much better. You get a bigger increase in total and free testosterone and Bulbine has modest estrogen control properties as well blocking some conversion of testosterone to estrogen. In an interview with Tim Ferris, Huberman stated that Bulbine increases testosterone for ten days and then levels drop off a cliff. This is completely untrue and there is no data whatsoever to confirm this nonsense. It takes a few weeks to get the full increase of testosterone from Bulbine which goes up further over time. It definitely does not cause an immediate spike and subsequent drop-off.
On a side note, I tried stacking Fadogia with ASTB recently and it did not have an additive effect. My T levels were higher with just ASTB alone than when stacking with 600mg of Fadogia. Fadogia could be used in between cycles of ASTB but I don’t even think it’s necessary. If you use ASTB for the recommended 12 weeks the four weeks off is not going to be a big deal. Levels won’t go down much if at all. I have had customers that measured T levels after a month off ASTB and levels were still higher than before they started.

2023.05.31 19:09 alexanderb35 Read between the lines. Part 1: drug laws. Part 2: interacting with police. Summary

Mtl law book
Controlled drugs and substances act, cdsa. Substances on this list are controlled substances. Schedules are categories substances fall into Cannabis act covers cannabis.
If lose case can be deported
If you possess over the legal limit of pot can be imprisoned post 2018 still. 2018 is when pot was legalized.
There are provincial and federal laws
The police arrest but the crown charges. Crown can charge for a different crime then police arrested for.
If you are being prosecuted then there are charges against you in a criminal file
The crown and police have a lot discretionary power with your treatment and your file. Crown is like prosecutor, not police.
Director of penal and criminal prosecutions, DPCP, prosecutor provincial boss, instruct and provide guidance for prosecutors. Other provinces have their own name.
Jury or judge acquit which means your innocent. Prosecutor can also withdraw charges "withdrawn" status.
Sentence are possible consequences of being guilty
Priors = prior criminal record
Law enforcement officer: immigration officers, police, youth protection agents, municipal inspectors, correctional officers etc.
Black, indigenous, racialized and migrant communities, people who are known to the police, are targeted more by police, meaning police also violate their human rights more often. Sentenced more harshly than whites. Drug laws are historically created to target these groups.
Systematic bias: those with authority, even incl teachers, have explicit or implicit bias against certain communities
Racial profiling: officers target certain groups of ppl and postal codes more.
Anti gang squad, anti gun squad, anti radicalization are dog whistles for targetting minorities. Also includes applying additional surveillance to target group.
During say a anti gun police raids, they can prosecute the raided for any illegal drugs the cops find. This results in potential criminals fearing to call the police bc if there is an investigation the police could nail the caller. Ex if a sex worker has HIV and does not disclose their HIV status it counts as sexual assault, meaning if a John beats her up, risky to call the cops on him.
If have PR status and found guilty could be deported/removal. Some drug addicts only are PRs.
Anytime you speak to police you are making a statement. Crown can use these statements to convince someone else to plead guilty or convict. Your silence cannot incriminate but your statement might.
Police allowed to lie. Will do anything really to get a statement. Don't react to any of their behaviours, comments, or questions since that can be a statement. Try to remain silent. But many ppl do not have the privilege of remaining quiet, ex that can worsen police behavior.
Rehearse how to speak to police without providing any incriminating statements if you think you want to make a statement.
Police cannot arrest you if they don't identity at least 1 offence. On arrest they give undertaking paper or hold you until court date.
After released by police, prosecutor might decide not to prosecute. If police are holding you after arrest your 1st court date happens after 1-3 days. Sentencing may be postponed until therapy/school/work etc is complete.
1st court case is usually 1-3 days after arrest, then bail applies for the 2nd court date in like months/yrs. When released after arrest can be released without conditions.
If plead guilty with lawyer, lawyer can negotiate to have certain charges withdrawn
You can be acquitted of 1 charge while charged with the others. Crown can withdraw some charges but keep others.
Willing blindness: you are supposed to inquire about the nature of a delivery you are driving if the package seems suspicious.
4(1) Possession, "Simple possession": to prosecute evidence needed: knowledge/willful blindness that substance in your possession and knowledge/willful blindness that it is a controlled substance named in the cdsa and measure of control/consent to their possession Law requires measurable quantity of drug, ex residue in a bag If there are drugs in your car and you are the driver or passenger, it cannot be the only reason for a conviction. Possession - drugs don't have to be on you. Knowledge of your possession is proven by it's location (hidden or in sight), whether police have statements by you or others. Schedule 4 substances and lower cannot be found guilty of simple possession, but can be found guilty of other offences like trafficking
Possession = you have it on your personal possession, you know a friend is holding it for you, you know that you have hidden it somewhere. If your friend is holding a cdsa drug for you and they know it's cdsa drug, then you both are in possession. If the cops raid your grandma's house and you stores cdsa drugs there and don't tell her, she will not be convicted.
4(2) Double doctoring/obtaining a practitioner: asked dr for prescription or drugs without disclosing the info about the drug that u received in the last 30 days. Both for personal usage and for dealing. Uncommon charge.
5(1) Drug trafficking, trafficking in substance: proof must prove that you did 1 of the following or that you offered to do one of the following: - Selling drug or prescription paper: incl if the sale is not completed. - helping or encouraging someone to buy/sell. Bringing the buyer to the seller and if without this help the sale would never have taken place. Introducing a potential buyer to a seller is sometimes prosecutable depending on the judge. It sounds like it might only be an offense if accused works for the dealer and arranges the meeting between buyer and seller, but not clear. - giving drugs for free/gift or for "free" is still trafficking - cannot administer illegal drugs even if asked too - if transporting home for personal consumption only, simple possession. But if for the purposes of sharing with friend, roommate then trafficking. Exceptions: inside safe injection site for drug checking purposes. Buying doesn't seem to be trafficking. - Max sentence is life
worse charges for drug trafficking if offence happens near school or other place frequented by minors, or on correctional facility grounds, or in a gang, setting traps, using someone else's building, creating hazards in a residential neighborhood
5(2) Possession for the purposes of trafficking: simple possession + purpose/intent of trafficking. Large quantity helpful to prosecutor but not required. Presence of measuring, packaging equipment, multiple bagged quantities, large amounts of cash, notebooks can be evidence. - Max sentence is life
Case study: Nat brought cdsa drug to share with client at motel. Client ODs and Nat has to call 911. Police show up too. She admits to cops that she bought the drugs and that he asked for them so the cops know it was his idea. She is convicted of trafficking.
6(1) Import (or export) and 6(2) possession for the purpose of import (or export): all must be proven: Bought drugs/organized their entry into Canada Knowledge/willful blindness/recklessness that controlled substance Intention to import the substance Bring drugs or organize their entry into the country: happens as soon as drug enters/leaves any country and continues until drug arrives at final destination in Canada in a person's possession. If in transit through mtl and Toronto offence has taken place in both locations. You don't have to have been personally transporting the drugs or even present at the place of entry to be charged. If police intercept the drugs in transit, irrelevant to defense. Crown doesnt have to prove you know the precise nature of the drug. Recklessness: ex accused caught with 2 bottles of wine that contain dissolved cocaine, since the cocaine amount was large, the producer prob wouldn't give this bottle to a blind courier. Behaviour following importation may provide convincing evidence of participation in offence: meeting with ppl, receiving calls of short duration at late hours, coded language by accused+accomplices, using public telephones to talk to "accomplices" despite owning a cell. After drug arrives to final destination, other ppl cannot be prosecuted for "possession for purposes of import" Police are specifically looking for fake suitcases on flights being carried by women 30s-40s
7(1) Production of substance, 7.1(1) possession, sale, etc for use in production or trafficking: production - manufacturing, harvesting, growing, etc. Offence includes offering to produce drug Evidence must prove you have some control over location/operation of production: cannot be convicted for simply being in a place of production. Police usually do detailed surveillance against accused first. Warrants for interception of private communication, track/trace (surveillance device on car), garbage searches, search warrants Police usually find out when purchase of large or suspicious purchases that are commonly used in drug production.
If police are at your house for a DV investigation and they see a baggie of what looks like heroin, can result in arrest.
Knowledge of the drug: you just have to know it's a controlled substance, not what it is specifically to be convicted.
Judges sentence more harshly depending on drug type. Ex if there are currently anti meth events or media, worse sentence.
Possession of methadone/opioid agonist treatments (OAT): - Health care providers don't need permission to prescribe, administer, sell/provide methadone to patients. Patients need a ordeprescription. To own methadone must be a patient or health care provider basically.
Initial meeting with a judge after arrest is a bail hearing.
To get bail: - better odds if minor crime - have $ via bail or signing a "recognizance" that says you'll pay bail. Get both back later on. A "surety" (friend) can pay for you. - fixed address that isn't a homeless shelter - ties to the community - family, legal job, studies, community engagement - proof of how will support self legally - having a friend reserve you a spot in rehab - indigenous
Conditions can prevent you from owning a cell phone.
Causing death by criminal negligence and manslaughter for giving drugs to someone who overdosed. rare. Can be convicted if you and a friend are shooting up together and you shoot them up at their request and then they die. Accidentally bringing a drug that contains fentanyl and your friend dies. Harsher punishment if accused is much older than decreased or if deceased is not much of a drug user.
A guilty plea only may help improve sentencing. If pleading guilty better to do it before the trial.
Didn't type up schedule 1-7 drugs pg 38, 39 Schedule 1: opioids, meth, Adderall, ghb, methadone, MDMA Schedule 2: synthetic cannabinoids, most cannabis is regulated by the cannabis act now. 3: shrooms, lsd, ritalin 4: zolpidem, steroids, benzodiazepines, barbiturates 5: not in the book if it exists 6: ingredients to manufacture drugs ex acetone 9: manufacturing equipment ex machines to fill pills
Selling other medications like idk ibuprofen could be a civil matter where the gov might issue a large fine against you and failure to pay the fine results in conviction.
If your lawyer and prosecutor agree on a specific sentence during a guilty plea, judge will most likely accept that, but judge doesn't have to.
Types of sentences: un/conditional discharge, fine, suspended sentence with probation and conditions (ex community service, rehab) imprisonment in institution or in community.
Being guilty can have other effects like travel ban to USA.
Sentencing considers: type and context of offence, circumstances of arrest, first charge for this kind of offence, current situation, level of detail and assurances in rehab plan, are there victims, prosecuted as summary or indictable offense. Unofficially judge considers bias like being anti-sex worker.
Prosecuted for either indictable offense or summary offense. sometimes the law decides which, sometimes prosecutor does. Determines max sentence and severity judge will serve.
Indictable offense - more serious. Some crimes are always indictable. Summary - less serious
Aggravating factors - reasons court gives harsher sentence: - Not having a drug addiction at the time of offence - priors - commited offence for financial gain - breach of trust - etc
Mitigating factors - reasons court gives better sentence: - guilty plea - been in drug rehab if had drug addiction at the time of the crime (get letters from case workers) - age - remorse - community involvement - etc
Mandatory minimum sentences, Mms.
Since 2012 Mms higher and a bunch of drugs moved up in schedule
Gladue report: - optional for accused. - affects all parts of court - prepared by some org - for anyone who identifies as indigenous
Impact of race and culture assessment IRCA: - A few provinces have this - gladue for black ppl - judge can legally ignore it - exists bc black ppl have faced a lot of adversity
Stigma = negative stereotypes
If you participate in a treatment program pre sentencing, it can reduce your sentence oand delay legal proceedings. Court needs to recognize its value and legitimacy. Court can also force you to attend a program of their choosing which can be like prison-lite. You can propose your plan to the court.
Special tribunals in mtl regulate the provincial court treatment programs.
Many sex workers gain access to new resources and opportunities which can allow them change their condition and protect themselves. Anti sex worker laws deny them of this and their agency.
Drug addicts and sex workers are constantly stimgatized especially if they do sex work and use drugs.
Sex workers: Try to represent as a victim for a reduced sentence: - apologize and show remorse about your sex work - talk about how you're a victim of sex work - allow the court to paint your sex work as all the problems in your life - make no claim about the useful of sex work in your life - be poor, get exploited by clients/pimps - when the court tells you to stop talking to other sex workers, drug users, clients, do it.
If you are between 12-17 YO: - youth criminal justice act or director of youth protection applies to you, 1 or the other, you can sorta pick - "very serious" crimes you're prosecuted as an adult, so public criminal record - if an adult works with you on a crime, it worsen the adults sentence
Police can charge you for possession of a weapon of they find a scissors or pocket knife
If police find you with a gun, they can easily give you 3 yrs. Weapons bans are 10 yrs.
Immigrants: - try to get either type of discharge (conditional or unconditional), that's the same as not guilty in immigration law. - refugees without Canadian citizenship can be deported - if you don't have PR, a hybrid offense or 2 summary offenses can get you deported - PR: receive a 6 month sentence or guilty of a crime that has max sentence of 10 yrs. - with an expired visa, cops database doesn't have that kind of info, but they could call Canadian Border Safety Agency (CBSA)
Indictable offence usually don't have fines associated with them.
Cannabis act (CA) - distribution and trafficking are the same thing - having on possession for sale is illegal - generally refers to dried cannabis, usually 30g dried or equivalent. Can't have more without gov stamp - can grow 0-4 cannabis plants, depending what province you're in - kids/orgs cant have 5g of dried weed or less or grow any - budding/flowering plant in public place is illegal - no entering or leaving Canada with weed - adults can't grow weed on someone else's property. Kids and orgs cannot grow any - involving kids in any of these is an offence in of itself - producing materials that enable trafficking illegal weed
public place: public has assess too and any vehicle located in public view
Illicit cannabis is illegally obtained cannabis. It doesn't have the gov stamp of approval
Some ppl give a fake name to cops bc risk of being identified is worse than the risk of obstruction. If you give police a fake address, they might mail court papers to that address and you won't be able to receive them. If you give the cops a fake name and need to retract it, try to say it's a "nickname but my legal name is x"
Recording cops: - legal for you to record cops unless property owner has rules against it, or recording actually does interfer with the investigation - police may tell you that it's illegal. Might charge with obstruction, or say you're breaking like privacy, take your recording device, demand you erase recording, say they're seizing your phone bc it contains evidence - if police seize your phone, they could find incriminating evidence to charge you or someone else with another crime
Frisking: - cops can legally if u are arrested. Only supposed to if they thinking you have a dangerous item on you and are a threat to someone's safety. If you get upset this increases the odds they'll search you. If they are searching you for weapons not supposed to search you for other things like drugs, phones, tattoos etc. They can use this to search for needles to identify you as a drug user - searching you for evidence of the crime they say you committed - if you're temporarily detained/being questioned same thing - if you give them permission to search you or your property, they will. To prevent this say loudly "I do not consent to the search" and "je ne consens pas a une fouille" (jeh neh koh sehn pah ah oon foo yeh) - if an illegal search results in say drug charges, the drug charges could be withdrawn - if unlawful arrest (ex police brutality) then the subsequent search might be illegal
Seizures: - can seize items in a warrant. Ask to see and read the warrant. - if the warrant is to search a location, must have that address, specific area they can search, and list items theyre searching for - ask cops for a copy of the report identifying the seized items and where the items are being held Can seize items without warrant if they think it's related to a crime, ex: - weapons that may have been used in the offense, Items that provide evidence like phones, scales, note books, items obtained through criminal offenses like money from drug selling, They can seize items before any arrests While you're detained they will frequently go through your phone Note down: everything they seize, when, whom, where you were at the time. Careful about "obstructing" police while you do this, record officer name, patrol car number, badge number and other identifying info, knowing seizing location helpful for trying to get your things back, if an item is evidence you won't get it back til the end of the case, if it's considered proceeds of a crime you'll likely never get it back, illegal things you will never get back
While detained, you can try asking a guard or lawyer if you can use your phone to get phone numbers, usually they'll say no. Guards will be able to read your phone while this happens. Memorize the numbers of potential sureties.
Don't have incriminating evidence about yourself or your associates
Drug use equipment: - can legally distribute unused drug equipment - if you have drugs on you, having sterile drug equipment can be used as additional evidence against you - may still be seized by security - If you're hanging out with a drug users and you're searched and they find sterile needles, they may then search your companion
Being detained: - physical detention is like being cuffed - psychological - they tell you you're not free to leave/act like you can't leave - can detain for: you're connected to a crime, being a witness, victim, breaking a bylaws, warrant however discretionary power means they might not for a warrant, being present at a raid - technically don't have to identify yourself, but police will likely arrest you for obstruction - police have to tell you why
Being stopped and questioned: - just bc you are in the area a crime took place, doesn't mean they can stop and question you legally unless you match suspect description. They will anyway if they want
Warrants apply country wide in practice
Arrested: - cops must tell you what you're being arrested for - they'll let you go with an "appearance notice" that may include conditions - you'll receive a "summons" in the mail is really an appearance notice - keep you in detention for a few days until a judge sees you - If you have kids, get a criminal lawyer and family law lawyer - if you're an immigrant: criminal lawyer and immigration lawyeexpert - arrest warrant: must have name of person to be arrested
You can negotiate conditions, like if banned from an area but have dr appointments there. Lawyer can do this.
If cops question you or tell you to go with them: - ask "am I free to leave? Am I being detained or arrested" if unclear ask again, if still unclear make motions to leave and leave if they don't stop you - if detained: "what am I being detained for?" - if arrested: "what am I being arrested for?" -- you have the right to ask and to speak to a lawyer - technically illegal for them to detain you due to trying to bring you to a shelter or rehab etc
Police legally have to wear badge number and name tag and have to identify themselves if you ask them to
After abusive police interaction, note down: - when, where event happened - held anywhere? Conditions of where you were held? Location? - officer names, numbers, car numbers - what was searched? When, where, how did it happen? - who was searched? How and where were they searched? Name and badge number of cop. - Dmges? take pics - who was detained? We're they offered an interpreter if needed? Do they speak the same language as the officer? - give all the info to lawyer
If cop grabs you and you pull away they might try to charge you with assault of an officer
Prep for dealing with police: - anyone in my party break a law? Any warrants? Youth protection involved with anyone? - if we're stopped by police, are we all staying silent, all giving the same info? Other plan? - are cops targetting me, the neighborhood? - if cops targetting someone else, can I walk away? - is my hangout area heavily surveilled? Is my party heavily surveilled? - if I have id, does it reflect the name I'm gonna tell the cops? What happens if an officer shows up who knows me? - how to respond to cops if my kids are with me? - condition breach? - am I carrying anything arrestable? Plan if they search me? - are all my incriminating items hidden from plain view? - what police consequences is most harmful to me? What am I most concerned about? What am I willing to do to avoid these? - can I role play with someone?
Good Samaritan overdose act (Good Sam law): - If someone is overdosing and you call 911, police legally aren't supposed to arrest you or anyone else there, incl overdosee for simple possession or simple possession condition breaches - everything else they can arrest you for. And they are known to use the opportunity to extract arrests Consider: throwing away/hiding your illegal drugs, tell others there you called 911 so they can leave, tell dispatch that area is safe so maybe police won't come, should I leave and get someone else to stay or leave a note on the overdosees,
Security guards, transit officers, etc: - no legal requirement to speak with them - they can citizens arrest you physically legally if they see you doing crime - cannot legally search you - can legally use reasonable force to remove you from a building - Montreal public transit security can become special constables easily and can detain and arrest ppl suspected of criminal activity on mtl transit. Can access police database. - All public transit security can fine and issues tickets related to their public transit. You're required to provide them name, address, dob
Driving a vehicle: - if you are driving, police have more authority, like asking for ID, breathalyze - police can stop vehicles bc: see a driving violation, believe the vehicle is related or a crime, routine police blockade for like drunk drivers passing - often use license plates to determine if the car was stolen or a getaway vehicle or whatnot - police pulling over ppl in high crime areas for no other reason is illegal - important to not have knife, drug residue in plain view - if you're too shaky, pink eyes, they know ppl in the car as drug dealers, they're more likely to find you suspicious - after arresting driver, they can legally search your vehicle if it's related to why they arrested you, ex they arrest you for drugs and then they can then search the vehicle for more drugs - more likely to search your vehicle if you're wearing a bulletproof vest - can search the vehicle legally for "safety", they see you have weapons charges and then they search the vehicle or if they have reason to fear for imminent evidence loss, fear imminent threat to someone's safety - legally easier for police to search your car then pat you down. - police can only legally ask driver for ID unless they turn the stop into an investigation in which case they can then ask everyone in the vehicle for ID - sleeping in your vehicle: take keys out of ignition, sleep in the back. Police may still harrass you and say it's in relation to criminal charges
Investigations: - begin for any reason, even via anonymous tip line calls - often police will surveill and if they see suspicious activity, they get a warrant
Residential location: - greatest privacy from police here legally, however: if owner unknown, abandon, frequented by marginalized ppl, police more likely to invade - when can they enter your house: generally police cannot enter without a warrant unless the person who answers the door consents, if they think someone inside is about to commit a crime or that a crime is in progress, in hot pursuit and the runner enters the house, if they think someone inside's life is in danger - if you don't consent to them entering say: I do NOT consent to you entering, je ne consens pas a ce que vous rentrez (jeh neh Kon sen pah ah seh voo rehn-tray) - can get warrants to enter for unpaid tickets, money owed to revenue Quebec - police search your home when: someone being arrested there and police think something is a danger to other potential occupants, police fear imminent lose of evidence, medical emergencies (Medicare card, suicide notes) - if they see something suspicious (drugs, scales, large sums of cash) in plain view (from your door, or anything they see if you allow them to enter. Even if you let them in, they're not supposed to search your house or roam to other rooms) they can seize it. - an arrest warrant isn't enough to search a place
Hotel/motel: for your room, generally same rules as residential, but a bit less privacy - for public areas, no privacy benefits - if cops can get keys from hotel staff or permission from hotel staff they'll use that to enter your room - often will say the housekeeping staff saw something suspicious
House keepers: - if they see drugs, lots of condoms, paraphernalia, sex work publications or drug publications they may contact police. There is an increasing trend for this happening under the guise of human trafficking prevention esp if you're a marginalized/racialized women who uses drugs. - they are allowed to enter your room
Hospital: - usually won't provide the cops with much info unless they have a warrant for a patient. Sometimes even will not let cops into your hospital room - will contact law enforcement. Usually have low threshold to attempt to kick out ppl as it relates to arguments, raised voices, disruptions - if you are with a patient, hospital more likely to provide info on you to cops, so careful what info you give hospital staff - as a patient u may have to change clothes and that could lead to dropping suspicious items out of your pocket - if you go to the hospital with a friend, tell them to stfu about providing info about you - bringing a friend can help by taking notes, advocating for you. Ideally your friend isn't know to the cops, can stay calm.
Supervised injection site, SIS: - inside cannot be charged with simple possession. Cannot give to others or administer to others. - staff cannot be charged with trafficking for providing the venue or material facilitating the drug usage. Same with staff checking drugs, which would normally be trafficking - police can do whatever outside of the building. If arrested for simple possession, could tell lawyer you were on your way to the sis/on your way back home - if you are investigated in relation to a sis, make sure your lawyer speaks with the sis bc your lawyer prob doesn't know the basics of the sis. - to use a sis, usually don't need to provide real name or info. If you give your real info, easier for medical staff at hospital to look you up if needed
Speaking to police: - if arrested cops suppose to stop asking you questions once you request to speak to a lawyer, but they will often still ask you questions anyway. After you speak to a lawyer they have the right to question you again - they will attempt to provoke you into speaking - interrogator will ask random questions to build rapport (ex personal life, interests). Will often promise or claim to help you if you talk to them - legally can lie about most things. Ex evidence, other ppl's statements, "if you leave now we can't help you later", "if you cooperate now you will get a more lenient sentence". - don't react to their questions
Initial appearance in from of a judge before bail hearing: - you appear before a judge within a day. If it's a weekend or holiday then after that. Have a lawyer come with you. This is when you can plea guilty or not guilty - can try to exchange 1 release condition for another, discuss this with your lawyer beforehand - if you receive a fine, some organizations can you get a payment plan. Community service can also be used to pay off a fine.
Bail hearing - you can schedule the meeting with a judge at a later date to give you more time to prepare for how to make bail - usually happens within 3 days - prepare in advance how to get released on bail - Prosecutor will often argue you shouldn't be released bc: you won't attend your next court date, you pose a risk to the public, public will lose faith or you're released. - your lawyer will likely argue: you have a fixed address (can be friends, family), will obey your bail conditions - sometimes to make bail you need: bail money/recognizance document saying you'll pay latesurety. Surety should have legal job and no criminal record. Show that you have routine, like school, clubs, job, family. Can have someone who ideally does not have a record come testify to your character. Proof of income. Someone to book you a spot in rehab. - if the court takes your passport, photocopy the important pages
Cdsa and cannabis act are federal criminal laws, but are often prosecuted by provincial/municipal forces
Law reform/Stella: The term decriminalization is getting more widely used and the meaning is recinding. Stella says decriminalization of drugs and sex work is a necessary first step to guarantee human rights. Drug use is not always an illness or problem. Abstinence is not the only way and thinking it's the only way is harmful. Drug sellers should be be categorized as bad ppl. If 1 law is repealed cops will often just target a sigmatized group with a new law. Alternative punishment instead of prison is still not decriminalization, aka Portugal model. For things like cannabis, even tho self possession of an amount is legal, you still can face police surveillance, unwanted police contact, trouble with landlord, etc. Individual prosecution directors, police departments can set guidelines, but those are not related to laws. Guidelines can say more or less punishment.

Her personality is extremely nuanced, and without a solid grasp on political ideologies most of her ambitions will go over a typical player’s head. There’s also Edelgard’s reasons for starting the war, which are deftly woven into her characterisation and even more so explained in her heart-breaking backstory - her philosophy draws heavily from Rudyard Kipling’s literature, for instance. The true gamers understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of her character, to realise that it’s not only black and white - it says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Edelgard truly ARE idiots - of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the reference in Edelgard’s existential phrase: “Must you continue to reconquer?,” which itself is a cryptic callback to Maeda’s Japanese epic Fates and Awakening. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those idiotic Dimitri stans hurting themselves in confusion as Yuki Ikeno’s genius wit unfolds itself on their Switch screens. What idiots… I bet they didn’t even play BEE. :joy: And yes, by the way, i DO have an Edelgard roleplay account. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for true Edie appreciatiors only - and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.”
  • And greetings from Austria, Canada, Chile, Portugal, the UK, and Ohio!

~ Closing Remarks ~

Thanks again to everyone who participated, I hope you enjoyed it!

2021.08.27 13:00 ibogaine2020 IBOGAINE GEORGIA – YOUR FREEDOM TODAY

IBOGAINE GEORGIA – YOUR FREEDOM TODAY
full article here
Georgia) brings to mind southern comfort foods, southern charm, and peaches. Anyone who lives or has visited Georgia knows what a gentile state it can be. It was the inspiration for Ray Charles’ song and is truly a famous state. However, behind all the good and wonderful aspects, lies a darker Georgia particularly in Atlanta. Drug and alcohol dependency is widely known as is the north-south highway running from New England to the very tip of Florida. It is this highway that has been known to be the perfect gateway for running drugs.
For those who suffer from any substance abuse issues, there is an answer. Anyone even if they do not fit the demographic of high users, like those in their mid-20s, can get the help they need. It just takes admitting they are ready for help. David Dardashti has created a program called Ibogaine. His Ibogaine treatment is provided in a local center. You or someone you love can get the help they need by calling a local center 24/7. Get your life back on track by getting Ibogaine therapy.
What you should know
The interstate highway not only north and south, but running west as well as a particularly popular system for delivering drugs. Whether they come by boat into Florida or come all the way from Mexico the road system is often used. Rail and bus networks are also popular for drug traffickers. Many of the supplies are brought from Mexico, the Caribbean, South America as well as West Africa and Southeast Asia.
In a comparison with other states, it is clear that Georgia has an average to moderately low usage from the age of 18 and up for illicit drugs, pharmaceuticals, cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol. The information is supplied by the 2008-2009 National Survey on Drug Use.
PERCENTAGE OF GEORGIA POPULATION USING/ABUSING DRUGS
When considering the various drugs available, marijuana is perhaps the most widely abused drug. It is easy for someone to get their hands on it with locally grown areas, plus major drug traffickers bringing it in. Cocaine is the worst in terms of availability even compared to marijuana. Bulk quantities come from the Caribbean and southwest border area. Powder cocaine is then turned into crack cocaine for wider distribution.
Meth is Georgia’s growing concern particularly in Dalton, Atlanta, and Gainesville. Several labs have been found and destroyed since 2005, but this has yet to stop the growing problem particularly with the availability of ingredients.
Heroin is a slightly different matter, where most of it arrives from South America, with some coming through Southwest Asia. Atlanta is predominately the locale to find it. Although Savannah is gaining notice by police as Colombian traffickers change their aim.
Pharmaceuticals such as hydrocodone and oxycodone are a problem. With the Internet and doctor shopping, it continues to worry many. Club drugs are in Atlanta too with ever-increasing popularity for ketamine, GHB, and Ecstasy. LSD which is imported has been known to appear at parties.
To a degree alcohol is an issue, but less so than other drugs. If you need help see what Ibogaine can do for you.

2021.08.22 21:14 Throwaway062221 Preps for new house. What items do I need for a house that wouldn’t have been as important in my apartment?

I am (hopefully) closing on a house soon and working on a list of items I need for the house that I currently don’t have/need/use in my apartment. Some of these are just basics for homeownership, but I thought you all might have suggestions of items that make sense from a prepping standpoint as well!
Here are some of the items on my list currently: - hose - shovel - ladder - tools? What tools do I need?
More context if anyone wants it: - House is located in a small neighborhood in a smallish city in the Midwest US. - I have a (big) dog.
Preps I already have: - GHB/72hr kit in car (72 hrs of food & water. Basic fire, shelter, and first aid. Change of clothes and shoes I can walk far in.) - 72hr bag at home (similar to above) - Approx 3 months of food, mainly extras of regular canned goods, boxed meals, and ingredients for meals I make often. Mainly counting on having power for those 3 months to cook, but I’d be ok without if needed. - Basic home (apartment) supplies, like flashlights and batteries, super basic tools, fire extinguisher, duct tape, small sewing kit, basic emergency radio. - 72hr bag for my dog.
Tl;dr - What preps should I consider acquiring for my first home, after living in an apartment my whole adult life?

2021.06.08 22:55 CollegeMiddle6841 Greenhorn seeks help with the ZZZZ!

Greetings!
I am excited to be a part of the community! This is my first post in this forum, so be kind!
I am not sure if the rules allow me to ask about sourcing, so I will be tactful on how I ask.
I am a problem sleeper. this is after working out HARD 3-4 times per week, YOGA 3 times per week, and many other methods.
Around 20 years ago I had GREAT success using GHB for my sleep. I am not a drinker, never really have been. I enjoyed the gentle onset of GHB. I remember hearing about ravers misusing the substance and around 2003 the US government made it and precursors federally illegal!
NO GOOD FOR ME!
In the last 18 years I have gone on and off AMBIEN. It works great to start, but then it stops working and you are left with a serious addiction. i never encountered this with several years of GHB use.
Over the past few months I got interested in NOOTROPICS.....that brings me to this post
Literally, minutes ago, I heard PSYCHEDSUBSTANCE(YouTuber) mention several compounds that really excited me.
The two in question are:
  1. GHC (T-HCV)
  2. HOCPCA
He described these as very, very close to GHB. I have not found anything with effects like GHB.
No other sleep medication allows me to take it and wake up feeling great.
DO ANY OF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT EITHER OF THESE?
I am not sure if you know this or not, but GHB was cheap to make. I remember getting the ingredients(it was still legal at this time) for about $150 bucks and that made well over a gallon.
The goverment made it illegal and guess what? You can actually get prescription GHB, its called XYREME. You probably wont believe the next thing I say:
The cost for Xyrem oral liquid (500 mg/mL) is around $5,798 for a supply of 180 milliliters, depending on the pharmacy you visit.
I appreciate any help or comments!

2021.04.26 02:09 3ric843 My experiment of healing / improving my brain using nootropics / supplements

Hello everyone!
The past months, I've been on a quest to heal my brain from drug abuse I've done in the past, or at the very least improve the functioning of the affected systems.
To put you in context, here are the drug abuses I've done:
- At 19 years old, spent the winter taking 2-5 ecstasy pills once or twice a week
- From age 20-21, 2-3 days meth binges once every few months, which culminated in a period of about 2 months where those binges became once or twice a week when some extremely good and clean pills became available (rectangular ICE (written like gatoride ice) white pills). I then stopped when it started having a significantly negative impact on my life.
- Age 21-23, smoked crack every weekend, 2-3 grams every weekend, with a lot of alcohol.
- Age 23-24, lots of 25C-NBOME, almost every weekend. Lots of alcohol too.
- Age 25-26, lots of alcohol and GHB
- Age 27-30, crack cocaine relapse, smoking 0.5-1g once every 2 months on average. Lots of alcohol and GHB. Etizolam often used for sleep, most of the time every other day, but there has been about 2 months of daily use once.
-Also used phenibut about 2g once a week for a few months, with some exceptions of taking it sometimes twice a week, and two episodes of taking it a few days in a row. Completely stopped when I started getting really horrible rebounds, and the effects weren't that nice anymore.
-I've also been smoking cannabis daily throughout all of this, but with some breaks here and there for tolerance and stopping the depression-inducing effects of long-term daily use.
So, what I've done to address this, is the following:
- 1 month of daily 100 mg phenylpiracetam before christmas, and then 1.5 month after a 1 month break. During the second cycle, I started doing the following:
- Took emoxypine for 2 months. Experimented a bit with dosage, and finally settled with 125 mg 3 times a day. For GABA-A receptors.
- Took fasoracetam for 2 months at 40 mg twice a day, for GABA-B receptors
- After stopping the phenylpiracetam, I started the following:
- Took sulbutiamine (400 mg first thing in the morning + 200 mg 4-5 hours later) and uridine monophosphate (250 mg late afternoon + 750 mg before bed) for a month, for dopamine receptors. Halfway through, also added 1g NAC before bed on the suggestion of u/sirsadalot. Could only sustain that for a week though, as I didn't have much left. His suggestion was 1200 mg, but I had 16 capsules of 500 mg left only, so I made do with what I had.
I have been off the emoxypine and fasoracetam for a week now, and finished with the sulbutiamine and uridine 5 days ago. Also, two weeks ago, I started tapering the products I take for sleep (all ingredients found in ND's sleep support), and quit all of them 6 days ago. All I take before bed since then is 300 mg magnesium from magnesium glycinate, a half tablet of ND's bacopa, and a capsule of nigella sativa.
I also have been exercising regularly, going to work with my bike whenever weather allowed it (I live 7 km away from work), and doing whole body resistance training involving compound exercises every 3-4 days. Also been eating well, and getting as much sleep as possible, even though the latter has been a problem until recently. Those increased the benefits of everything I took for sure.
Results?
I don't remember ever feeling as calm and emotionally stable as I do now. Even my girlfriend (been together for almost 6 years) made a remark about that yesterday, even though I told her very little about all of this (so she wasn't expecting me to be any different). I also sleep really well through the night, despite having stopped all my sleep-promoting substances. I even quit cannabis completely 2 weeks ago. And caffeine too. But don't be too quick to dismiss all of what I've done as being only due to stopping cannabis and caffeine; I've made such breaks very often, so I know how I'd normally be right now.
I definitely feel like my brain health has improved significantly.
I should mention I have been taking NMN 125 mg every morning for the past 5 weeks too, and still taking it, so that's one thing that could change how I am feeling right now VS usual. But I haven't noticed it doing anything since I started. When I finish the bottle, if I ever lose some or all of the improvements I think I've gained, I'll make a post to let it be known.
Everything I took came from Nootropics Depot.
Any comment or question welcome

2018.07.18 20:54 19miller83 Limitless NZT-48 Pill

This issue bears a familiarization character with the most promising compounds, modifications which, in the future, may become something of a legendary pills to improve intelligence - NZT-48. For reference, the author of the book "Limitless" taking as a basis for tablet NZT - Modafinil.
This material carries significant meaning, and it may be necessary to listen to it more than once to understand the concept of one of the most powerful cognitive enhancers. Here we parse compounds that are directly related to cellular mechanisms of memory formation. Research on humans is extremely small, so it will be further described mechanism of action. Data on doses to people in the context of strengthening the intellectual abilities virtually none. Some of the compounds are hazardous to health.
Part 1 of the information is taken from the book «Cognitive Enhancement: Pharmacologic, Environmental and Genetic Factors». As of autumn 2016, in English only. In the same book there are references to the study.Part 2 introduces the histone deacetylase inhibitors - substances that work directly with the DNA.
Part 1. Cognitive Enhancement.
Part 2: Histone Deacetylase Inhibitors
The theme, announced some time ago, and you're pretty positive about it spoke. So, what is this terrible phrase? We go from the simple to the complex. The human body is composed of various tissues. Fabrics are composed of cells. The cells have a nucleus, a chromosome in nuclei, chromosomes - DNA. Such is the nesting doll. DNA has the genetic information, the base of the body of data. Hair color and eye - a prime example of the DNA work. With DNA information is read by RNA and ribosomal RNA are working on the basis that just build different connections: hair, bone, and muscle.
With the DNA more or less clear. Histones - proteins consisting of several amino acids, something like glue to the DNA strands. Deacetylase means the removal of the acetyl group. Merge: histone deacetylase - a chemical reaction that causes the removal of the acetyl group. This allows tight binding of DNA to the histones. All! Histone deacetylase - an adhesive for DNA!
We need to understand that kind of thing: More dense packing of DNA reduces the availability to extract RNA information. Our adhesive in the form of histones are so powerful that hardly DNA provides information about anything. It is logical to ask a tricky question: what for actually happens? To monitor and control parameters such as cell growth and death, as an example, cancers.
Actions of histone deacetylases reduce gene expression, make it difficult to read the information from the DNA to build protein structures. This is normal. With hypo-acetylation, when "many histone deacetylases," as if the cell is fixed and there is a reduced DNA methylation. And this is a risk for the occurrence of cancer.
Confused?) Try really easy!DNA methylation - is something like a small upgrade of DNA without altering its structure. Methylation conventionally enough - DNA is not updated and there is copying data as if from the old version. And if it has a small error? Errors are copied like any Agent Smith in the Matrix and in the end - of cancers. Everything is explained on the fingers, so that the DNA experts, please calm down!We turn to the most interesting - that if you enter a histone deacetylase inhibitor? To allow the DNA easier to copy information for methylation. That's right - will be easier to be the expression of genes or the construction of protein compounds. Simply update DNA recovery even cancer cells. And it is a huge field of research.
And again: histone deacetylase linked, bonded DNA complicate copying information. Inhibitors of histone deacetylases - unleash the DNA, the DNA is easier to update and transfer of information.
Our project aims to study the brain and intelligence. What if I told you that you will be able to more quickly build synaptic connections between neurons, and maybe even themselves neurons at the same level of learning anything? What if they become so strong that you are deaf and old age will remember everything. I read something a few times and remembered for years.
The main inhibitors of histone deacetylases (HDACi)
There are 11 types of HDAC, these types have similarities, yet sometimes differ by location and function.
It should be noted that these inhibitors improve the long-term memory.
There is a direct dependence of the activity of these inhibitors to factor BDNF, which is crucial to a good memory. In many early issues we mentioned BDNF and now found its connection with the processes going on at the DNA level.
Taken together, research is most clearly Memory important inhibitors of histone deacetylase 2, 3 and 4 - type.
As for the type 1, ie research on the regulation of fear and stressful memories. Ie, to make it easier to forget the negative undesirable drink inhibitors of type 1. But we can not yet say that they are only responsible for fear, and ordinary memories are not remembered.
Memory loss in the elderly is associated, including a histone deacetylase type 4.
Therefore, substances that are to some extent inhibit histone deacetylase:- Valproic acid. Old drug, increases the content of GABA in the brain. Histone deacetylase inhibitor of all types. A study conducted on chickens, the author - Konstantin Anokhin. Chickens tossed inedible burning bead soaked in a special solution, similar to the food they were eating it and understand that it is not food, and acking one. After 24 hours, most of the chickens forget about it, only about 20% were no longer on this divorce. Then another group introduced sodium valproate 100 mg / kg 30 minutes before the bead thrown, they swallowed - threw the 2nd time in 24 hours - not wilt for about 60%. 300% improvement in comparison with the control.
It's a simple illustrative example. Already we have an understanding of what is happening through the CREB-protein complex.
- Sodium butyrate (GHB). Located in the 3rd list of banned substances, not so long ago, it is actively used by junkies, because in addition to the action on the deacetylase, the substance has an effect comparable to the shock dose of alcohol. Continuing with the previous study Anokhin and chickens: butyrate was administered 1.2 g per 1 kg of 3 minutes after the unfortunate experience. Valproate within 30 minutes, and 3 minutes butyrate. After 24 hours storage was better than in the control group is about 2.5 times.
Generally, valproic acid and sodium butyrate, the most often appear in the studies.
- Ladasten. This material was originally focused on dopamine - a neurotransmitter concentration and good mood. Dopamine increases from actions** Bromantane or Ladaste**n. With respect to inhibition of histone deacetylase have effect on HDAC1, HDAC3, HDAC4.
After 1 hour after the rats ate Ladasten 50 mg to 1 kg, HDAC1 activity in the striatum - is part of the brain was 65% of control, HDAC3 - about 50%, HDAC4 - 90%. After 2-3 hours the level returns to normal. In general, in striatum, hippocampus, hypothalamus picture is different. The hippocampus is important for memory, HDAC3 and HDAC4, the lowest value was about 80% after 2 hours after administration. Inhibition of 20%. It is important to distinguish the course the metabolism of rats and people, so if you decide to take to train, then at least 2-3 hours.
- Sulforaphane. Broccoli extract. Widely known as anti-cancer component. There are many studies in animals and in humans one. Sampling of all 3 people. Mandatory condition - no supplementation during the last 6 months and the lack of acceptance of vegetables for 48 hours. They ate 105 mg of sulforaphane, the equivalent of 570 grams of mature broccoli. All three of inhibiting histone deacetylases pattern was identical. Weakens HDAC3, HDAC4 and HDAC6 by 50-70% by about 6 hours after taking. Even bigger and longer than Ladasten.
The exact dosage for humans has not been established in various sources from 2 to 30 mg, 105 mg accepted although in the above study. We should also mention about Vitamin B3 or nicotinic acid, there is evidence that it also acts as an inhibitor of histone deacetylase 3 rd class, not to be confused with the 3rd type.
Bottom Line:Can we consider NZT substances which at times improve long-term memory, or compounds that are structurally similar to the neurotrophic factors that cause nerve cells to grow rapidly, and where are our intelligence? If so, what would be the consequences? Do not turn out like amphetamine in the middle of the last century, when it was very effective means for health, but in fact he is seriously depletes dopamine. Or, as with steroids, which are based testosterone, which as it replaces your testosterone, your ceases produced.Yes, knowledge, desire and means you can get off even with heroin. But how many people can not even get off a cigarette, nicotine? What happens if a person begins to use the mega-dosage of a 7,8-DHF, which can replace your own BDNF? And then restore it?
So far we have considered the matter, which seemed to increase production, pushing the body, improve memory and attention. Now NZT-48 knocking on the reality of the inside of the sci-fi movie screen. This is still a fantasy, but then 30 years ago, smartphones were fantastic.
What are the best practices recommendations?
Pay attention to the more secure connections:- Linoleic acid, DCP-LA which modification has excellent effects on memory in mice.- Sulforaphane - simple and affordable inhibitor of histone deacetylase 6 hours.- Ladasten. In order not reproached in advertising, the active ingredient - bromantane or adamatnilbromphenilamine.- Nicotinic acid, is as glycine can be added to the diet.Read even contraindications to these compounds. And remember the most important human qualities!Empathy makes the man no less than high IQ. See you later!

2018.06.30 01:33 FaceShrine A Setsuna/Azura duo showcase.

So this is a showcase on Setsuna and her partner Azura. (WARNING: This guy is obsessed with Setsuna, so it's going to be a loooong post. I will try to add a TL;DR at the bottom..if I remember ._.)
Since Setsuna is my favorite character in this game, I wanted to do something special with her once I reached +10 on her. This is a showcase of the potential a unit can have given enough support and investment.

Azura+1 (+Atk -Hp)

Got lucky with her IV and I will probably only change it if I get a +Spd.
I was very happy when her and Ryoma appeared almost back to back on the first Hero Fest. Didn't know anything about her at the time besides the fact that she was the face of fates. She became Setsuna's partner and since then I don't think I have ever field one unit without the other.
Her job is dancing Setsuna around the map, buffing her at the start of the turn and tanking red armor units (or A!Tiki) with the goal of either killing them or bringing them down for Setsuna to KO.
  • Weapon: Slaying Lance (Spd)
Now, even though Azura only tanks red units, I still prefer having slaying lance on her instead of her default weapon. The simple reason is that....gem weapons are just boring and on the hands of the AI it's just a free kill.
  • Assist: Sing
    Yup.
  • Special: Moonbow
Thanks to Slaying Lance, she gets instant moonbow on the EP. If I can get more SB fodder, I would gladly give it to her and change her special for that instant Luna in EP.
  • A skill: Fury
In place until I can get another B!Ike. I just hate Fury with passion at this point. Maybe even TA for the time being even though I also hate it.
  • B skill: Wings of Mercy 3
I don't think I need to explain it, but I don't use it that much anymore and I'm trying not to rely on it. I have a special skill reserved for her in the future that I will show later.
  • C skill: Hone Attack
    Key skill
  • Seal: Drive Attack 2
Another key skill. Before the Drive Attack seal, she had Fortify Res 3 to give 2 buffs to Nino, but since I'm splitting the team, I decided for this change.
So in short words: "dance and tank red threats", but the most important aspect of Azura is that she gives +2 all stats to Setsuna as her partner, +4 atk with Hone and +3 drive atk. All of this sums to 57-58 atk on Setsuna. I obviously have to close to Azura for this to work, but it's never been a problem. These two formations are the ones I use to gain those stats:
I'm using Azura because I like her and she is a singer, but as you can see, this is something that any unit can do and it's not something exclusive to her.

Setsuna+10 (+Spd -Res)

As everyone knows, Setsuna has a 28 base atk. That is the 18th lowest (out of 94) for range units and 2nd lowest (out of 21) for archers and my choice for IV went to +Spd. Yea, it's super low, but after this you will realize how little I care and why I'm not in a hurry to change it to +Atk.
She is the star of this game for me. Having never played a FE game before Heroes I didn't know her at all. After looking at her art/sprite/VA she instantly became my favorite unit. She began as a reliable Takumi counter thanks to her Bowbreaker in the pre-SI era and when SI came she started to shine even more with each passing update.
  • Weapon: Brave Bow+
You would think Low mt + low base atk would the ingredients for a bad weapon choice, but thanks to the rest of her skills, she reaches a nice attack stat and with a 40 base spd she reaches 46 atk on her own and 47-48 spd if Azura is near her.
  • Assist: Reposition
I still have a lot of merges to go on Azura before considering giving up Repo for a dual rally skill so..yea.
  • Special: Luna
The best special for this build. On the very first battle, Luna will always proc on the 4th hit (if it even gets to that point) or on the 3rd hit. (after tanking 1 hit from the enemy)
  • A skill: Life and Death
Just a solid stat boost to Atk that also negates the penalty of the Brave Bow+. With this skill, her physical bulk is 69 while her magical bulk is 67. Letting her get hit by a melee unit is a valid move that I use to charge Luna and kill those WF units in two hits.
  • B skill: Desperation
This is just a great skill. Useless when the enemy can't retaliate, but when it does, she will tank the hit like a champ and from that point onward she will quad anything before there's any type of retaliation. Not a fan of using assist skills like Ardent Sacrifice or Reciprocal Aid because as long as she can tank a hit, she will enter Desperation range.
  • C skill: Savage Blow
For the longest time, I had no idea what to do with her C slot. I tried Threathen Defense 3, but found it unreliable to proc when I needed it the most (Except with armor units). Then I started using Savage blow on GHB and realized how good of a skill it was. Simply put, if there's no vantage involved I can hit for 7-21+ dmg to a tanky unit so that I can get the kill in 2 hits. Even when vantage is present, I just need to be careful. Overall, savage blow is a great C skill for her. As for other options, I tried pulling S!Alphonse for his Def Smoke, but decided it wasn't a good skill on her.
  • Seal: Attack+3
This is just more attack for Setsuna. The only way I would change it is if IS releases a Desperation or Guard Seal.
The idea on paper is simple. I buff Setsuna with Hone, Drive and Ally support for that sweet 57-58 atk and she deletes everything in her path. Then I use Azura to dance for an extra kill or reposition her to safety. In practice, it's a little bit more complicated than that. (makes it more fun!) I have been Setsuna through out all the metas, (so OHKO, Horse and now Dragon/Armor emblem, AKA EP meta) and the last one is the most interesting and fun to deal with as a player phase unit.
Now that I explained the builds, it's time to show how this goes on practice. At this point I guess everyone is sick of cookie cutter builds, so this is why I wanted to do a little bit more than just a textbook showcase. If you are a new player and you wonder why people say brave weapons/dire thunder trivializes the game, I will show you now. So I decided to put Setsuna and Azura against the entire summonable cast of FEH. This was done with Setsuna doing 100% of the damage and Azura only acting as support. There were no other units or any other skill involved besides the ones shown.
There was only one rule:
  • "Only Setsuna is allow to do damage and she can only attack the enemy once."
So I can't attack and then dance for a second round. That would make things too easy. Savage blow is fair game and entering combat (but not attacking) is fair game as well.
So yea, sounds simple right? Well...eventually, I started coming up with complicated rules to make things as fair as possible, but then decided not to enforced them. Rules such as:
  • "NO defensive tiles"
I wanted the 1v1 to be fair, but you will never know the pain that is searching hours upon hours for specific units and when you finally find the unit, you are not able to screenshot a clean kill because the enemy refuses to leave the defensive tile. These maps were the biggest offenders (with the zipper and island map being the worse for anything that wasn't a horse). Eventually I came to realize the rule was stupid because even if the enemy or Setsuna was in a defensive tile, the outcome of the battle would have been the same. So I decided to avoid defensive tiles as much as possible and in the un-avoidable cases, I made sure that the end result wouldn't be affected in either way. I added a small icon next to the units name just to show when a defensive tile took place.
  • "Only use Savage Blow on units that require SB dmg for the kill"
Savage Blow is a key skill that is used against the bulkiest units in the game. I tried my hardest to not abuse it on units that didn't required it for the kill, but I ran into situations that just made me want to rage quit. I was having a hard time getting clean kills because of other units getting in the way. It was the pain of searching for days for a +10 merged un-common unit and not being able to get a clean kill because of a stupid Reinhardt getting in the way. So I said to myself: regardless if the unit was missing 7-14 HP, it would have been a kill in either the first 2 shots or the 3rd (after tanking 1 hit if the unit had DC). So yea, regardless if the units was missing HP, it was still dmg done only by Setsuna and if you do the math, every missing HP is divisible by 7 to show that. (All except for that fully buffed Iote +10 Subaki in which he attacked Fjorm and lost 3 HP. I just wanted to put him because that was one of the hardest flying units I dealt with in this experiment.)
So yea...there's 259+ units so that's a lot of units to find and kill. I divided them in different categories. (Initially I wanted to just make a big picture, but I can't make a picture that big on MS Paint ._.) (All the units shown are pre-summer banner. So no Summer Cordelia, Tana, Innes and Noire. The last unit I added was Canas.)

Armor units

Notes:
So yea, armor units are meta, but if there's NO vantage on the enemy team, Setsuna can just go to town. As long as I keep the units off the defensive tiles, I don't care about the order in which I kill units and I can take a hit because it allows me to enter desperation range for the next fight. (So bold/vengeful fighteQR are irrelevant.)
If there's a unit with Wary Fighter and DC, most of the time I won't be able to kill the unit in two hits, so I have to play around Luna for that. I will target another unit and make sure I ORKO in 2-3 hits. With this I will have Luna at 1 (or charged) which guarantees the KO in two hits.
If I face a combination of both vantage and WF+DC units, I will carefully plan out which units to take out. This is by far the hardest fights, but thankfully very few teams run several units with vantage. Simply because everyone prefers the higher SP fighter skills. Vantage is only common on units like Hector and BK for some reason.
Notable units:
  • I do get Omnibreak Hector from time to time, but they can be dealt with some SB spread to break the riposte or just having Luna at 1 or charged. (If I have it at 2 and no other unit to attack, I can let Hector hit me to charge it.)
  • Since Armor units are meta, I really didn't had much trouble finding each of them. I think the hardest to find were Zephiel and Arden. I only found like 2 of each in all my tries. There's only 1 Arden there because the other one destroyed me.. (As I will show in the FAIL section.)

Dragon units

Notes:
Dragon units are also meta with the majority of them running the SB/WB/DC, QR, Aether build. As long as I take them off defensive tiles, they will die to a quad. If Luna is at 1 or charged, they die on 2 hits. Otherwise Setsuna will tank the hit and enter desperation range and kill the rest of them. The only thing that could maybe prevent Setsuna from tanking a hit is if the dragon activates a 4+ special after two hits with the help of infantry pulse + QP seal. That's in theory because I never encountered that situation since Aether just scores better at the Arena.
Another good thing about Setsuna is that she doesn't have unbalanced defenses. Her Res and Def are pretty much the same, so in the end it doesn't matter which stat they target.
Notable units:
  • Myrrh, in my eyes, is the scariest dragon in the game to face as a PP archer. Her end-game build basically behaves as a Wary Fighter + Distant Counter + Quick Riposte armor unit with 2 space movement that flies and ignores terrain. (Who thought that was a good idea?!) I need to either damage her for 14 dmg or blow her up with a 2 hit Luna proc. It's not hard to pull this on armor units because they are too slow to reach you (Armor march is not an issue since you can separate units and blow the armor march user first.) and that gives you enough time to plan ahead, but Myrrh doesn't give a shit. She comes right to your face ignoring terrain and since Azura is always near Setsuna, you can guess who Myrrh targets right away. Thankfully, the AI sucks at using assist skills so she is always the target of a repo/draw back which makes life a little bit easier.
  • M!Grima was scary when he came out, but in the end he's just a slow armor. He, alongside Nowi, are the most common dragon units.
  • F!Grima is also interesting, but Dragonskin is not really enough to save her from a quad.

Flying units w/o Iote's Shield

Notes:
So yea, we all know what happens to Flying units without Iote Shield. :(
Notable units:
  • Took me some time to find a S!Camilla that wasn't running the TA, Raven, Iote shield build....
  • I'm also grateful that archers don't have to worry about flying mages, because they sure hit super hard.

Flying units with Iote's Shield

Notes:
So yea, even with Iote Shield most fliers still can't survive a quad. Iote does help for non-brave weapons, but since they get doubled, it's still a lot of damage to take in. Iote shield works better on the bulkiest fliers. With those, I do have to plan a little bit with Savage Blow.
Notable units:
  • This Beruka was hands down insane to take down in one round. Luna did 34 dmg so a quad was 46 dmg total. With 55 total HP, I needed 2 savage blow to bring her into ORKO. That one was difficult since she also had an ally with fortify fliers which brought her defense to 60. A quad with that defense is only 28 damage.
  • This Subaki was the only +10 I was able to find and he was also a pain to kill in 1 round. The differences between him and Beruka is that he can reach a Spd threshold which makes it hard to quad. I made a mistake and he lost 3 HP in a battle against Fjorm, but it was still overkill when Setsuna attacked.
  • As for rare units, I would say Narcian was the rarest flying unit with NY!Camilla coming in second.

Cavalry melee units

Notes:
Initially I thought horses were popular, but unless the bonus unit of the week has melee horses, I don't find them that much in the Arena. It seems few people have them on their Arena core. Very few of them required SB to take down in one round and not a lot of them run DC to fight back.
Notable units:
  • The most annoying horse to take down in one round is non-DC Sigurd because of his ability to reduce consecutive attacks by 80%. Depending on his defense I have to see if he needs SB, Luna or if I can just bypass it by saying: "fuck it, he will die with the quad". He's not scary, just very annoying to deal with.
  • When I started this project, Ares recently came out so I wasn't able to find a fully built Ares, but I would say that a DC Ares on vantage range and with Special ready to use is scary.
  • If you can't separate Eldigan and Exalted Chrom from the rest of the team, they will be incredibly hard to deal with. These two gave me the most trouble in the Arena because of their high defense and hp.
  • This category holds the holy trinity of the rarest units in the game for me. These units are Clive, Spring Xander and Luke. I have something special reserved for Clive and Spring Xander because I want to thank the users that use them on their team, but if you saw my kill on Luke you will notice it's the Luke from the Double Chain challenge on Lunatic.
  • Let me level with you...nobody, I repeat, nobody runs Luke on the Arena. I have been spamming AA for hours for almost a month and I was able to find every single unit at different merges, but I was never able to find a Luke. There was this guy that had a Luke, but it was on beginner and it wasn't even level 40. I encountered him twice and it doesn't seem the guy still plays because it was still lvl 34. If you want more proof, just check The 5* Lv.40+10 Build Compendium. The +10 Luke is just a vanilla one without any additional skills. It just screams "someone do a +10 for the compendium's sake!!!! Please!!" So yea, I was never able to find a Luke at my score range. (It doesn't help that at higher scores, horses just disappear so yea..) If I ever find him, I will just edit the image, but I have been postponing this for weeks and frankly, at this point, I don't care.
  • Cain and Abel..also pretty rare to find, but I was able to find the two in one fight. (More at the bottom of the thread.)

Cavalry ranged units

Notes:
One of the most popular categories because of Reinhardt and B!Lyn. With melee units, I don't have a problem on letting Setsuna tank a hit to charge my Luna, but with ranged units we now get Blizzard, Blade tomes, Dazzling staffs, etc. Some of those weapon will OHKO her if I let her take the hit. So this category is just PP all the way on them.
Notable units:
  • Cecilia hands down. I can take down a raven tome Cecilia, a Raven with bowbreaker...maybe with SB and a Luna, but a Raven+TA+BowbreakeQR...yea, not a chance. With blade tome, she is still scary if you engage her with buffs. Since she is a 3 star unit, if you get her in the Arena, it's a guaranteed +10 with 50/50 on blade or raven tome.
  • The rarest units in this category are Nana and WoT!Olwen. (I lost a screenshot of a +10 Green Olwen and spend 2 days searching for another one...In the end, I only found that +0 ._.)

Red melee units

Notes:
The category with the most amount of units.
Notable units:
  • Ayra with DC. Non-DC Ayra can reach really high speeds that prevents her from being doubled, but she will still die with 2 hits so it's no problem. Sometimes, she can survive, but a SB spread can fix that. However, DC Ayra is build to sustain range attacks. If I fail to kill her in the first 2 hits, it's game over. Simply put, Setsuna can't survive a Regnal Astra with Wrath. So she must die on the first two hits.
  • OG Chrom. A fully built Chrom hits like a truck. If any of those Chrom's had something like Glimmer, I would be dead for sure. This gets worse if they are next to someone which I believe it's the case in one of those Chroms.
  • It's not common to see OG Chrom with anything but Aether because he comes with that skill, but Seliph is the same as Chrom. A bulky unit with high defense and HP. His weapon encourages to use DC so a high merged Seliph will always come with DC.
  • The rarest unit here is...you guess it: Saber and to an extend, Athena. I wasn't able to find a merged Saber so when this +0 appeared, I said, fuck it!. For Athena, I went 2 weeks without finding one and then suddenly on one day I found like 5. Pretty weird.
  • Also, Karla, Ayra, Mia, Lyn and Lon'qu. With those units, the goal should be to kill them in two hits and not let them double you because trying to double them is simply not worth the effort.

Blue melee units

Notes:
The Blue melee pool is filled with bulky units. While bulk is good, even a 40 defense unit takes 10+ damage per arrow. That's 30+ dmg + one arrow dealing 50% of their defense. It's hard to tank that damage without the help of buffs and/or defensive tiles, which is what I think everyone uses when tanking a brave bow user in the Arena.
You would think Fjorm is safe because of Ice Mirror, but she still dies on the first 2 hits even after reducing the first attack to 70%.
Notable units:
  • Shiro, Donnel and Oboro are super tanky units. We get President Oboro's here, relative speedy donnels and.. holy shit double def tactics Shiro's!!! Although being honest, I'm just going to assume that was the only lvl 3 spare seal he had.
  • Lukas. Now, I do agree that Lukas is a physical melee god tank, but all we need is just a few SB and Luna to take him down. Getting him in the Arena is a pretty fun puzzle to solve as I will show later.
  • In the blue pool we have Lancina, Charlotte and Nephenee. All 3 are kinda fast units, but even though Charlotte has high HP, her defenses are lacking which results in dead by 2 arrows. Lancina is fast, but also lacking on defenses and she is more of a support unit because of her prf weapon. The real deal here is Nephenee.
  • Nephenee is fast, has really good defenses, comes with Wrath and Slaying Lance. This means almost every Nephenee you get in the Arena will be able to retaliate with a OHKO if you fail to KO her in your turn. Sure, I didn't had any problems with the Nephenee's shown, but that was because I didn't showed you the other Nephenee's I failed to kill in 1 round because of other units getting in the way, unable to move her from a defensive tile, etc.
  • S!Robin takes the medal for the rarest unit in this category.

Green melee units

Notes:
More tanks here. With the exception of B!Ike and maybe Dorcas, there's not a lot of units that need SB to be taken down in one round.
Notable units:
  • B!Ike. Same reasons as Sigurd. He is just annoying to deal with thanks to Urvan. He is another one of those units that I need to take out my calculator to see if he needs SB, Luna..or again: "Fuck it, I'm sure he will die to a full quad."
  • Raven. If he is not running double LnD memes, he can be quite hard to take down. Again, if that special was something like Glimmer, I would have died.
  • Dorcas and Hawkeye. Never realized how similar these two units were until now. Yea, Dorcas has more def, but Hawkeye has more balanced defenses.
  • Barst and Bartre lived up as units that even though they are used as memes, people really do use them and +10 them.
  • Summer Xander takes the medal here as the rarest unit in this category. It's funny because when I started editing the screenshots, I noticed I had 3 Summer Xanders, but then realized it was actually the same team I encountered 3 times. So yea, thanks to that one person running his +4 Summer Xander.

Red ranged units

Notes:
Now that we enter the ranged category, things get simple. With the exception of a few units, mages have the stats to battle other mages. With average HP and low defenses, they don't have the stats to tank physical hits.
Notable units:
  • Julius. Usually, you just don't care if the units have buffs or if they are on a defensive tile, but I was surprised to see how tanky this Julius was despite only having 19 def. I guess Dull Range + Loptous + DD is one hell of a combo.
  • Sophia, Henry and Lyon being the only major treats as an archer because of how they like to run raven tomes. Still, without good defenses and TA, they will not survive.
  • You would think Raigh is the rarest unit, but since he is a f2p friendly unit, people do use +10 Raigh a lot. The rarest for me was actually Katarina.

Blue ranged units

Notes:
More PP units with M!Robin being the only one that could potentially retaliate.
Notable units:
  • Saias, S!Lucina and Oliver take the cake as the rarest units. Oliver in particular took me days to the point that I started commenting on threads that had Oliver to see if they were running him in their Arena Team. (and it actually worked!)

Green ranged units

Notes:
More PP units, but a lot of popular raven users here because of their ability to check B!Lyn and Reinhardt.
Notable units:
  • S!Elise. I mentioned that it was impossible to take down a TA + Raven + Bowbreaker Cecilia. The annoying part is that it's hard to deal with her because of her 3 space movement, but with infantry units, it's kinda possible? That said, this stupid S!Elise took everything to be taken down in one round. That was 2 SB spreads and Luna charged. In a real fight, I would just say fuck it and let F!Kana or Nino deal with her, but since she was the first S!Elise I encountered, I had to do everything to get the kill on her.
  • Inigo. Same reasons as S!Elise. He was more common, but with effort, he can still be taken down despite running a "Fuck you B!Lyn build"
  • Merric. Just a very tanky green unit that doesn't need to run raven tome to tank hits. Can be taken down without SB, but any unit that can bring Setsuna to less than 10 hp is a worth mention.

Colorless physical units

Notes:
For archers, unless they run Guard Bow, most of them are PP units. Aside from one archer, I find daggers a little bit more scary since they tend to be very bulky.
Notable units:
  • Faye. In the FAIL section, I will show one particular Faye that took everything from me. It didn't feel good to include her kill because even though Setsuna did 100% of the damage, I lost everyone but Azura just because I wanted to take her down which in the end it was just bad. No point on showing how Setsuna can kill everyone if it requires sacrifices to do so.
  • Saizo. This dude is hard to take down. He can definitely tank the first two hits and retaliate hard.
  • Matthew. This unit has very good defenses and more often than not, the rest of his team synergies well with him, which in the end makes him hard to take down.
  • As for rare units, F!Takumi was the only one that took me effort to find.

Colorless magic units

Notes:
Staves were simply not meant to do battle with physical units. Sure, Azama and Wyrs can tank, but they are not a threat on PP. Healers are only a threat on EP when they run the famous Pain+ builds.
Notable units:
  • A +10 Wrys is kinda rare to find. Lots of +10 four stars, but not a lot of people that five star him.
  • Mist was also a pain to find.
So, that is that. All of them taken down by a daydreaming archer and her partner in crime supporting from behind. Doing this took me a month of just going in and out from the Arena Assault. Every time I was home and had some free time, I did like an hour or two of AA hunting while watching a video/movie. The score range for this was between 684-718. I don't know if lowering the score was necessary, but I still tried it.
In the first 2 days I made huge progress, but as days past and the list got shorter and shorter, it became a chore. After a week of searching, this was the face of the Arena Just Armors, Dragons,B!Lyn/Rein and free legendary units.
Every now and then I said to myself...Fine, I will give that Nowi lead a try.
Baited once
Dammm....Ok, one more time!
Baited twice
OK, I'm done giving these dragon leads the benefit of the doubt.

For each day, I had a progress sheet that I made using the FEH tier list creator. So if you are interested to see which units were the rarest to find, here it is.

Now this section is just screenshots of various moments throughout my journey to catch them...a..ehem....slay them all.
Unique teams I found in the Arena
Teams I wanted to mention because of the units they ran
Some teams from users on this sub..(I think) and some teams that had funny names.
Some fun and interesting battles

This is the part everyone wants to see: FAILS, FAILS and more FAILS! Because, yea..nothing is perfect.

The final boss a.k.a triple distance defense Faye

Closing thoughts and TL;DR:

At this point, there's very little I would change to make her more efficient at taking down tanky units. I guess I could try to go for a +Atk IV, but I haven't had any luck pulling one. Still, I'm in no hurry to do so since, aside from hard counters, there's really no unit she can't take down. It's true that new units will keep coming out with better base stats, but I have a little something stored in my barracks that will help me in the future when that time comes. This is the B skill I had in reserved for Azura.
There's also new skills like Odd Attack Wave and Infantry Rush that I'm considering. (Odd attack would replace SB on Setsuna and Infantry Rush will replace Hone Attack on Azura.) I haven't had the time to see if it's indeed worth it or not, but it's an option.
Brazen Atk/Spd is also on the table, but I'm hesitant. It's 2 more atk/spd, but....I don't really need the extra speed and although 2 attack can translate into 2-8 extra attack, I need to find a way to force her into Brazen/desp range before the battle starts. 41 speed is not enough to double important units. A speedy F!Kana and F!Corrin can reach 40-43 speed. Hell, 37 Spd is not uncommon on the rest of the dragon units. If I fail the kill on the first 2 shots, I will eat QR and die. The best way would be to use Ardent Sacrifice/Recirprocal Aid and.....maaaan I don't want to use those skills. I guess the problem is that I'm so accustom to enter desperation range with LnD that anything that changes the way I play makes me not particularly excited.
In the future I would like to do this again, but with a different build. I would love to do something with Guard Bow and Clarisse Bow.
TL;DR:
  • Azura goes... (Just imagine Rein being Setsuna, Widow being AY!Tiki/red armor unit I want her to tank/kill and McCree just a random unit waiting in line to be killed by Setsuna.) Ana main, btw.
  • Setsuna goes Pew, Pew, Pew, Pew... and everything dies.
Here's the 259+ units that died by her hand/bow:
If you read the whole post.........holy shit O.o thank you! If you just read the TL;DR, thank you as well for stopping by! I hope that at least you laughed at some of the fails and I hope that the story of my 28 base atk Archer motivates you to use your favorite unit regardless of tier, stats and IV's. If you are looking to be the best of the best, it's cool as well. Tier 19.5 might be the best my team could reach because of BST, but atm, there's really nothing that motivates me on using 3 high BST F2P friendly units to stay on tier 20.
You would think I'm insane for writing 35k+ words on what is just a cookie cutter brave bow build (and holy shit, I do agree it was insane), but I just wanted to do something special with my all-time favorite unit in this game. Thank you for reading and if you notice a unit I missed, please let me know.
Good day!

2018.06.30 00:10 FaceShrine Setsuna, with the help of Azura, against the entire cast of FEH. (A Setsuna/Azura showcase)

So this is part 2 showcase of one of my oldest team and the focus this time is on Setsuna and her partner Azura.

If you are a new player and you wonder why people say brave weapons/dire thunder trivializes the game, I will show you why.

Good day!

2017.04.12 14:51 UNDERSCOREY [BoTW] GUIDE: Ultimate Cooking - All "Boost" Recipes (Attack/Defense/Stealth/Speed) - High Level Potency - 30 Min. Duration - (WITH EASILY FARMABLE INGREDIENTS!)

GUIDE: Ultimate Cooking - All "Boost" Recipes - (High-Level 30 Min. with Easily Farmable Ingredients)

The best Attack Boosting / Defense Boosting / Stealth Boosting / Movement Speed Boosting recipes and dishes. All done with easily farmable ingredients, so you never have to worry about running out.

VIDEO GUIDE: Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Best High-Level 30 Min. Attack/Defense/Stealth/Speed Recipes

I've found the secret formula for all High-Level "boosting" dishes (Attack, Defense, Stealth, & Movement Speed). Also, I've found a way to make sure these recipes last for 30 minutes. And as a bonus, I not ONLY use easily farmable ingredients, but I've made a farming guide for each ingredient to net you 25-80 per farming run.

Using easily farmable ingredients is the key to setting these recipes, and this guide, apart from the rest. If you always have the ingredients you need, or at least know where to get a quick 25-80 of them, you're always prepared to make a metric crap ton of dishes. Also, this prevents you from having to continually look up what ingredient does what, or performing trial and error type cooking. This is basically the "Best Recipes in Zelda: Breath of the Wild - FOR DUMMIES" guide.

The Secret Formula:

The basis of my secret formula is to use the following:
  • x3 High-Level Ingredients
  • x1 Low-Level Ingredient
  • x1 Dragon Horn

Let's break the formula down:

  • x3 High Level Ingredients & x1 Low Level Ingredient
    • Based upon the information from the posts above, I determined that in order to get a high level (MAX potency) dish, I didn't need to use 5 high potency ingredients. It usually landed somewhere between 3 and 4 high level ingredients. So, I choose to use 3 high level ingredients and put the dish over the edge with 1 low level ingredient.
    • Choosing to use a low level ingredient instead of just another high level ingredient also has the added benefit of diversifying the ingredient list and not requiring you to have A TON of high level ingredients. I want to make sure you ALWAYS have an abundance of the ingredients required for all of the recipes listed below.
