🔗Mustad Carolina Rig Fishing Hook Kit

https://preview.redd.it/mqhh1wsz1d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ed00f3de9abc1bfaf7117f96cbb0564e8275190
Using the Mustad Carolina Rig Assorted Fishing Hook Kit in my local river was a game-changer. The variety in sizes and materials of the hooks in the kit allowed me to test out different techniques with ease. They were well-made and sturdy, allowing me to catch several fish with just a few modifications to my lure.
However, I encountered a slight challenge when trying to attach the weight to the hook. The connection wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped, and it took a bit more time to get it right. The kit also lacked instructions, which might have made this process easier for a beginner.
Despite these small setbacks, the Carolina Rig Assorted Fishing Hook Kit made my fishing experience more enjoyable and versatile. Its array of hooks and additional accessories made it a valuable tool for both new and experienced anglers looking to spice up their fishing techniques.

I've been fishing with the Carolina Ready Rig for a few weeks now and it's been a game changer. As a seasoned angler, I appreciate how effortlessly this rig eliminates the need for hunting around my tackle box for small components. Top Brass Tackle has really thought this through, from the precise brass weight to the no-fuss 10 mm glass bead.
One aspect I particularly enjoy is how the design makes my fishing sessions much easier. No more struggling with bead placement or dealing with broken beads after a few casts. This rig is an excellent option for both novice and experienced anglers alike. Plus, the durability of the brass sinker and stainless steel wire leader makes it perfect for salt and freshwater fishing.
The only small con was that initially, the shiny brass finish on the sinker changed color after a few weeks in saltwater. But overall, I've been really happy with this Carolina Ready Rig. It's made my fishing sessions more efficient and enjoyable, and I look forward to catching more fish with it.

🔗Complete Carolina Rigging Kit by Eagle Claw

https://preview.redd.it/kee5hhg02d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f03c0a6d13e4aee65fb00560b61a0181b8eeb1c1
As an avid fisherman, I've tried a variety of rigging kits to snag the biggest catches. Eagle Claw's 52 Piece Carolina Rigging Kit is a game-changer. Its attention to detail and quality is clear from the moment you unpack the kit.
From sliding sinkers that slip through even the thickest weeds to ball-bearing swivels, this Carolina rig kit delivers on its promises. My personal favorite - the fish-catching noise it produces - is truly remarkable. It's helped me snag more fish than I've ever caught before.
That being said, the one area where it could be improved is the labeling of the sinkers by weight. Even though the variety of weights is great, it would be more helpful if they were marked clearly. Also, if you're in an area where lead sinkers are not allowed, this might not be the kit for you.
Overall, Eagle Claw's Carolina Rigging Kit is a fantastic addition to any fishing gear collection. It's a go-to for catfish and bass enthusiasts alike.

🔗6th Sense Carolina Pre Rig 3/8oz - Efficient Bass Fishing Solution

https://preview.redd.it/mco5ezq02d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc84a547060350752e78dc3c5f69f9aa0cd2b5aa
As someone who has spent countless hours on the water, the 6th Sense Carolina Pre Rig 3/8oz has been a game-changer for me. After dealing with the frustrations of rigging my Carolina Rig and dealing with the constant break-offs, I decided to give this pre-rig a try.
One of the biggest highlights for me has been the time-saving aspect. With the pre-rigged hook, I can spend more time casting and reeling in fish instead of tying knots and fiddling with excess weight. Not only does it save time, but it has significantly reduced the number of break-offs I've experienced, keeping my line intact and increasing my chances of landing a big one.
The durability of this pre-rig is also top-notch. The flexible wire has allowed me to drag it through every type of structure without getting hung up, giving me the freedom to focus on the fish rather than worrying about losing my rig. Plus, the fact that it comes in three different sizes and two different metals (lead and tungsten) means there's an option for any fishing situation.
Of course, nothing is perfect, and I did encounter a minor drawback when switching between lead and tungsten options. The switch required me to remove the weight and reattach it, which took a bit of extra time. However, this small inconvenience is easily outweighed by the benefits this pre-rig provides. Overall, I'd highly recommend the 6th Sense Carolina Pre Rig 3/8oz to anyone looking to save time, reduce break-offs, and increase their chances of catching bass.

🔗Carolina Ready Rig Hook for Sensitive Baits

In my experience, the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rig has been a game-changer. I remember the first time I used it, it was a chilly morning and I was struggling to put together a Carolina rig, but these pre-assembled ones made my life so much easier. Each rig is made with brass, glass beads, and Pro-Tickers, which together create a loud and attention-grabbing presence in the water.
The best part for me? No more fumbling with beads and weights in cold weather. Each rig comes already assembled and ready to use, saving me a considerable amount of time. Plus, they're built strong and sturdy, holding up well even in challenging fishing conditions.
However, there was one downside I noticed. On a couple of occasions, the wires seemed to bend easily, causing some issues in the line. But overall, the pros outweighed the cons, and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an efficient and reliable Carolina rig solution.

🔗Quality Carolina Live Bait King Rig for Tournament Fishermen

https://preview.redd.it/tbvz3ym12d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98019d2d98805ebd77a3d041090271937c8222e6
Using the Sea Striker Carolina Live Bait King Rig has been a game-changer in my fishing adventure. The slow troll rig is perfect for tournament fishermen like myself, with its bronze hooks that are professionally snelled with 60 lb. camo coated wire. The live bait size 2/0 nose hook and the 4X Eagle Claw size 4 treble hooks have proved reliable and sturdy during my fishing trips.
Model LBR has one treble hook and model DLBR has two treble hooks, both variations offering different options depending on your fishing needs. The leader is neatly finished off with a size 7 barrel swivel, ensuring smooth and stable action. This rig also comes with an optional ultra mylar duster, which adds an extra layer of attractiveness for the fish.
While using the Sea Striker Carolina Live Bait King Rig, I found some pros and cons in my experience. The pros were the reliable hooks, the versatility of having two different treble hook models, and the option to add the ultra mylar duster for additional attraction. However, the cons were the lack of information on the product specs and minimal user reviews. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Sea Striker Carolina Live Bait King Rig remains a trusty tool in my fishing arsenal.

🔗Complete Carolina Rig Kit for Ultimate Fishing Experience

https://preview.redd.it/ojctc8722d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=570dd0f400443a97d4d3378512ec7f2774ac31db
When I first received the Crme Lure Carolina Rig Kit, I was impressed by its compact, organizer-like nature, designed to keep all the lures and rigging in one place. The variety of colors available in the lures made me excited to see how they'd perform in the water. On my first fishing trip with this kit, I encountered a rather small bass. Although it wasn't a monster catch, I managed to hook it using a Carolina rig from this kit.
One downside I encountered was the difficulty in finding the appropriate rigging components. The instructions provided were quite detailed, but they seemed to be written for an audience with more experience in fishing. Nevertheless, I managed to work it out with a bit of trial and error.
The lures themselves performed quite well, with different types of lures attracting diverse species of fish. However, they did have a tendency to get snagged on underwater debris, which was a bit of a setback.
Despite the initial challenges, I found the Crme Lure Carolina Rig Kit to be a versatile and durable tool for improving my fishing skills. As a beginner, it was great to have a handy reference in the form of a comprehensive guide. Additionally, the rigging components were high-quality and seemed to withstand the test of time.
In summary, the Carolina Rig Lure Kit is an excellent selection for novice or experienced fishermen who want to enhance their skills with a variety of rigging options. The kit offers great value with a plethora of lures and rigging components, and I'd definitely recommend it. Just remember to keep an eye out for potential rigging fumbles and stay patient when it comes to using instructions.

🔗Owner Rig N Hook - High-Quality Fishing Equipment for Your Adventures

https://preview.redd.it/0jpq4oo22d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=02d5ffaad0253e6af824b814a1b70752deac0c9d
I had the opportunity to try out Owner Rig N Hook while fishing for my daily catch. As an avid fisherman, I've used various hooks in the past, but this one stood out for its unique features and incredible performance.
One of the most noticeable aspects of Owner Rig N Hook is its sharp and sturdy cutting point. It's designed to provide a strong and reliable hookset, ensuring that my catch does not escape. The black chrome finish not only adds a touch of elegance but also offers enhanced corrosion resistance, which is perfect for my trips to the lake.
The short shank on these hooks is particularly useful when working with plastics that have a short but thick profile, such as spider grubs or creature baits. The wide gap and heavy wire make it an ideal choice for Texas RigN and Carolina RigN, as well as Split ShotN techniques.
However, I did notice that these hooks tend to straighten more often than other hooks. While it's not a major issue, it's something to keep in mind when using them, especially for larger fish.
Overall, Owner Rig N Hook has become a staple in my tackle box. It provides a reliable and efficient hookset, making my fishing experiences all the more enjoyable. The high-quality materials and design make it a worthwhile investment for any avid fisherman.

🔗Top Brass Carolina Ready Rig - Loudest 5/16 oz Black Hook Set

The Carolina Ready Rig is a game-changer in the world of fishing. This sturdy and easy-to-use rig is made with Top Brass's brass weights, glass beads, and Pro-Tickers, creating the loudest rig any fisherman has ever heard. The combination of these materials results in a perfect Carolina rig that can withstand even the toughest fishing conditions.
One of the biggest highlights of this product is the time it saves. Gone are the days of digging out beads and weights, as the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rig is already pre-rigged and ready to go. The rigs are simple to use and make attaching lures a breeze, saving valuable time on the water. However, the wire on these rigs can be delicate and may bend easily, causing some problems.
Despite this minor issue, the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rig is a top-quality product that is designed to last. The materials are of high quality and the pricing is reasonable, making these rigs accessible to all. Overall, the Carolina Ready Rig is an excellent choice for anyone looking to catch more fish with less hassle.

🔗Efficient Carolina Rig Weight for Fishing Success

In my experience, the Strike King EZ-Rig Carolina Rig Sinker has been a game-changer in my fishing trips. The convenience of having everything pre-rigged has saved me a lot of valuable fishing time. The glass beads not only produce a rattling sound that attracts fish, but they also add a flashy appearance that helps to make a big impact.
The stainless steel wire ensures that the rig will hold up even after multiple uses. The environmentally friendly brass weights are also a huge plus, as they add the right amount of weight without causing any harm to the environment.
The rig is compact and easy to carry, making it a top choice for anyone looking for a quick and simple set-up. Overall, the Strike King Lures Carolina Rig Weight has been a lifesaver for me during my fishing adventures.

🔗Proven Carolina Rig Kit for Fishing Success

I recently tried out Karl's Stash Carolina Rig Kit, and I must say, it was quite the experience. As someone who's always on the lookout for a good fishing setup, this kit caught my eye with its promise of a tried and true fish catching system.
The first thing that struck me was the design of the rig itself. Its heavy power, coupled with a moderate fast action, provided me with an unexpected amount of precision and control. The line, which was perfect for a weight range of 14-20lb Fluorocarbon or Monofilament, held up incredibly well under the strain of my fishing escapades.
However, there were a couple of aspects that I didn't quite gel with. For one, the brass weights seemed a bit outdated compared to the tungsten ones I've gotten used to. Another minor inconvenience was the large weights that sometimes bogged down in the sand, making retrieval a smidgen more difficult.
Despite these minor setbacks, I found myself consistently landing good catches with the help of this rig. Its simple, yet effective design makes it a great choice for both beginners and experienced fishers alike. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're looking to spice up your fishing experience. After all, the proof of the pudding is in the catching, and this rig sure does catch!

🔗Easy-to-use Carolina Rig for Fishing

I've been using the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rigs for my fishing trips, and I must say, they've made my life so much easier. The brass weights, glass beads, and Pro-Tickers create a loud, fish-enticing rig that is ready to use right out of the box.
One thing that stood out to me was the sturdiness of the rig. It's a well-made product that can handle the rough and tumble of a day on the water. I also appreciated the ease of use - it's a simple, straightforward rig that's perfect for those times when I don't want to spend a lot of time on prep work.
That being said, there were a couple of downsides as well. Occasionally, the wire would bend easily, causing issues with the rig. And while the one bead not three thing was a minor inconvenience, it was nothing that couldn't be fixed with a quick trip to the hardware store or a little bit of DIY ingenuity.
All in all, the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rigs are a solid choice for any angler looking to make their fishing trips a little easier. They're well-made, easy to use, and a great time-saver.

🔗Easy-Adjust Carolina Rig Hook - 8 Pack

https://preview.redd.it/bmtk1qm42d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=162f42597c9b1c4be84f4e657f959ac4ec8baff5
I recently started using the Carolina Keeper 8 pack and I must say it has greatly improved my fishing experience. What stands out in my experience is how easy and convenient it is to tie that one knot instead of the three that I used to need. It eliminates the swivel and simplifies the process of adjusting the leader length. The keeper even works well for different types of fish like striper, hybrid, trout, and all saltwater species.
One of the pros of using this product is the ease of setting up the Carolina rig. It saves a lot of time and effort compared to using a swivel and tying knots. However, a minor con that I've encountered is that the keeper may slide down the line if you're using heavy weights, especially in heavier currents.
Overall, the Carolina Keeper is an excellent product that has made the Carolina rig setup convenient and efficient. Despite the minor drawback, the pros definitely outweigh the cons, and I highly recommend it to any angler looking to improve their fishing game.

Buyer's Guide

Welcome to the buyer's guide section for Carolina Rig Hooks. In this guide, we will discuss the important features to consider when purchasing a Carolina Rig Hook, as well as general advice to help you make the best choice for your needs. Let's dive in and explore this exciting category of fishing tackle.

https://preview.redd.it/v9hpgd082d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0d0f981f7c801238e40ebdd5b8fc77734e7ff62

Features to Consider

  1. Material: Look for hooks made from high-quality materials like premium stainless steel or titanium. These materials provide long-lasting durability and excellent performance in different fishing conditions. Steel hooks are stronger and more resistant to corrosion, while titanium hooks are lighter and more durable.
  2. Size and Weight: Choose a hook size that matches the lure and the intended target fish. The weight of the hook also plays a role in its functionality, as heavier hooks will be more effective in deeper waters or when targeting larger fish. Make sure to select a size that provides a proper balance of hook size, weight, and grip.
  3. Shape: The hook shape can affect its performance and catch rate. Most Carolina Rig Hooks are designed with a J-hook or a Sickle hook. J-hooks provide better hookup ratios, while Sickle hooks are more effective in maintaining their position in the mouth of the fish during the fight.
  4. Strength: Look for hooks with strong shanks and welding points to ensure they can hold up to the demands of fishing. Quality hooks are designed to withstand the wear and tear of being submerged in water and dealing with aggressive fish.
  5. Finish: The hook's finish plays a role in its durability, appearance, and attractiveness to fish. Chrome, silver, and black finishing options are available, with each providing its own unique benefits.

Additional Considerations

  1. Price: There is a wide range of prices for Carolina Rig Hooks, from affordable options to premium picks. Determine your budget and consider how much you want to spend on this essential fishing accessory.
  2. Brand Reputation: Research different brands to determine their reputation for quality, performance, and customer support. Positive reviews and experiences from fellow anglers can help you make an informed decision.
  3. Warranty and Return Policy: Look for brands that offer warranties and return policies that provide peace of mind in case you need to replace or return your hook.

General Advice

  1. Always inspect your hooks before using them, checking for any signs of damage, rust, or weak points that could impair their performance.
  2. Store your hooks properly to prevent damage and ensure their longevity. Protective cases or storage boxes with UV-resistant materials are ideal for storing your hooks.
  3. Experiment with different hook sizes, shapes, and finishes to find the perfect combination for your fishing style and target species.
By considering the features discussed in this guide, you can make an informed decision when purchasing a Carolina Rig Hook. Remember to prioritize the material, size, weight, shape, strength, and finish that best suit your needs and budget. With these factors in mind, you can enjoy successful fishing adventures and reap the rewards of your well-prepared tackle box.

What is a Carolina rig hook?

A Carolina rig hook is a specific type of fishing hook designed for use with the Carolina rig, a widely popular fishing technique in the Southeastern United States. These hooks are typically made of strong, durable materials and are suitable for catching a variety of freshwater fish, such as bass, catfish, and sunfish.

What makes a Carolina rig hook different from other fishing hooks?

There are a few key differences between a Carolina rig hook and other fishing hooks: 1. They have a slightly different shape, typically featuring a straight body with two wide gaps between the shank and the eye. 2. Carolina rig hooks are designed to be fished with a heavy sinker attached to a leader, which allows the hook to sink quickly through the water column. 3. They can be used with live bait or artificial lures, making them versatile for various fishing scenarios.

https://preview.redd.it/fgj539892d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb1812ba6a34075f7164a85e09ded35585b83170

What materials are Carolina rig hooks made of?

Carolina rig hooks are usually made from high-quality metal alloys, such as steel or tungsten, as these materials offer superior strength and durability. Some hooks may also incorporate nickel, titanium, or other coatings to improve their anti-corrosion properties.

What are the benefits of using a Carolina rig hook?

  • Increased durability and strength, allowing for more successful catches.
  • Ability to be used with a wide range of baits and lures, making it a versatile tool.
  • The heavy sinker attached to the leader allows the hook to reach deeper water levels and target larger fish species.
  • The hook's shape enables it to penetrate the fish's mouth more effectively, increasing the chances of successful hookups.

How do I rig a Carolina rig hook?

To rig a Carolina rig, follow these steps: 1. Thread the leader onto the rod or line, with the heavier end at the bottom. 2. Slide on a sinker, adjusting the weight according to the depth and current conditions. 3. Attach the Carolina rig hook to the leader, with the loop end facing upwards. 4. Add a swivel between the leader and the line to prevent line twist. 5. Tie on your bait or lure, ensuring it is secure and free to move naturally. 6. Cast your line and wait for a bite.

Are Carolina rig hooks compatible with other fishing techniques?

While Carolina rig hooks are specifically designed for use with the Carolina rig, they can also be used with other fishing techniques, such as the bottom bait rig, as long as the correct size and weight are chosen.

What size and weight should I choose for my Carolina rig hook?

The choice of hook size and weight will depend on the type of bait or lure you are using and the target fish species. As a general rule, smaller hooks are suitable for smaller baits and fish, while larger hooks are appropriate for larger baits and fish. When determining the weight, consider the depth and current conditions to ensure the hook sinks properly and is not too heavy or too light for the chosen bait or lure.

🔗Compact, Lightweight AR 10 Bipod with No Assembly Required

https://preview.redd.it/ogj9v9g9zb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bdaabec5489c5a52ba167313ac6b7bd32865ce3f
The Champion Bipod is a must-have for all AR 10 enthusiasts. I've been using it for a few months now, and it has definitely enhanced my firearm experience. Firstly, the bipod is incredibly easy to attach to the gun, with just a quick installation to the sling swivel stud. And, what I particularly love is that there's literally no assembly required, making it perfect for those who aren't handy with tools.
The telescoping legs are a major highlight. Their spring-load return means you can easily extend and retract the legs, ensuring quick and easy height adjustment. But, I do have to admit that while the bipod adds extra stability, it does make the gun feel a bit heavier.
However, despite its lightweight design, the bipod itself is surprisingly sturdy and durable. It's capable of handling the recoil of my AR 10 and maintaining its rigidity. It does lack the ability to swivel, though, which does make it somewhat limited in its flexibility.
Overall, the Champion Bipod is a solid purchase for anyone looking to add extra stability and precision to their rifle. Even though it does come with a few shortcomings, it still offers great value for money and performance.

🔗High-Quality HD-50 Bipod for 50 BMG Rifles

https://preview.redd.it/yoiw8qu9zb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d12bb9309b2d0ec0811fc4e94bbcd5cf6fb2abf
I recently tried the Accu-Tac HD-50 Bipod Black, and let me tell you, it's a sturdy and reliable companion for any shooting enthusiast. This bipod is specifically designed for heavy-duty rifles, with a center hub that offers great stability and strength. The larger arm lock lugs ensure it can withstand the recoil of a 50 BMG, which is definitely appreciated. One of the standout features for me was the ability to cant and the throw lever, which makes adjustments a breeze.
The only downside I encountered was that the product description didn't explicitly mention whether the bipod had the ability to cant or not. This left me to figure it out once I had the product in hand. But overall, I'm quite pleased with this sturdy, heavy-duty bipod that will be a trusty addition to my shooting gear.

🔗Adjustable Heavy Duty AR-10 Bipod with Precision Leg Locks

Imagine you're out on the range, adjusting the angle of your AR 10 on unpredictable terrain. As you take aim, you're grateful for the Tac Shield Heavy Duty Bi-Pod.
Its side-to-side swivel capabilities feel as natural as a seasoned shooter, and that quick adjustment lever? . A game-changer.
The precision leg locks offer a sure grip, no matter how uneven the surface. Its legs extend quickly and lock in place with an ease that's unmatched.
Even better are the grip caps on the bottom - they hold steady, providing the perfect rest for a steady shot. And, when it's time to retract, the spring return release buttons make it a breeze.
Now, you see why this Heavy Duty Bi-Pod has a 5-star rating. It's not just a tool, it's an essential part of your shooting experience.

🔗Swagger Hunter29 Bipod: Versatile AR 10 Bipod for Maximum Shooting Agility

https://preview.redd.it/q2y1iznazb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef3a829b48aa3f006d765b8240229b10ff31aa36
I recently had the chance to try out the Swagger Hunter29 bipod, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The moment I assembled it, I was struck by its lightweight design, which weighed in at just 23.6 ounces.
One standout feature for me was the easy removal of the rubber foot to reveal the spiked foot, allowing me to dig into my terrain with ease. The leg design and internal updates from 2018 also impressed me, as they provided a much smoother shooting experience. The nitride finish on the springs and spring housing was a nice touch, adding an extra layer of durability.
As someone who appreciates versatility in their gear, I was excited to see that this bipod came with a reinforced bungee and a standard rifle adapter. Its compatibility with a wide range of shooting positions, from prone to seated to kneeling, added to my confidence in its performance.
Overall, the Swagger Hunter29 bipod proved to be a solid choice for hunters and shooters alike. Its ability to adapt to various terrains and obstacles helped me feel confident in my shots, and its lightweight design made it easy to carry along. While there may be some minor drawbacks to the setup process, the benefits of using this bipod far outweigh them. I wholeheartedly recommend the Swagger Hunter29 to anyone in search of a reliable and versatile shooting aid.

🔗Steady AR 10 Bipod with Traversing Technology

https://preview.redd.it/v0djlg2bzb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d744ec54754101137e8f57f013b2984e459c976e
As a fellow hunter, I recently had the chance to try out these Champion Bipods with cant & traverse, and I was quite impressed with the features they offered. The 9" to 13" horizontal rotation system proved to be a game-changer when it came to getting a steadfast hold on moving game. It's like having an extra set of eyes, as you can easily follow the game's movements without losing sight.
Though the rapid-adjust lever lock offers quick and easy positioning, I did notice that it could use some fine-tuning. However, I find the telescoping legs with spring return to be a fantastic addition, as they make it easy to attach to the sling swivel stud on your firearm. The steadiness of this bipod shines through, and it's not just for prone shots - it's also perfect for those benchrest or sitting situations.
For uneven terrain, the pivoting feature is a lifesaver. Though the product is made in China, its quality seems to mimic that of much higher-priced models. Overall, while there are some minor drawbacks, these bipods prove to be an excellent value for the price, and I'm sure they'll serve as an invaluable tool for hunters all around.

🔗Adjustable AR 10 Bipod with 60-degree Pan Movement

https://preview.redd.it/jahx0cmbzb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=677bb215af022ff763acab53e72c7c2b56b55c12
Recently, I tried out the FAB Defense Spike Tactical Bipod and let me tell you, it was a game-changer for my rifle setup. As someone who enjoys shooting at long distances, a bipod can make all the difference in keeping shots consistent and accurate.
One of the first things that stood out to me was its smart hybrid construction. It strikes the perfect balance between sturdiness and lightweight. This was amazing for me because I wanted a bipod that wouldn't slow me down while still offering stability.
The four locking leg positions were another major highlight. The flexibility to adjust the legs at 0, 45, 90, and 135 degrees allowed me to use it in different shooting situations with ease. I appreciated that it could be quickly adjusted for different heights and angles without any hassle.
The adjustable rotating head was another feature I loved. Its simple design ensured that my rifle remained steady, even when I needed to make quick changes on the fly. I also found the 60-degree pan movement and 20-degree tilt movement to be quite useful, providing me with a greater range of motion as I shot from various positions.
Despite loving most aspects of this bipod, there were a couple of drawbacks to mention. The first was that the legs, while sturdy, could feel a bit narrow at times, particularly when using heavy optics. The second was that extending or retracting them required a bit more force than I'd have expected, but that's a small price to pay for the overall stability this bipod provides.
Overall, the FAB Defense Spike Precision Bipod exceeded my expectations. It offers a sturdy build, is lightweight, and has features that make it a reliable and flexible addition to any rifle. Sure, there may be some minor drawbacks, but for the price range, it's a steal for shooters looking to improve their accuracy and make their shooting experience more enjoyable.

🔗Swagger Extreme Angle AR Bipod for Hunting Performance

https://preview.redd.it/jabddjzbzb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=06a18e5153b76e237c79b35d7b68e47ceb189488
This Swagger SEA12 Shooter Extreme Angle Bipod is a piece of equipment I've grown quite fond of lately. Picture this - I'm out in the wild, hunting for big game. With its 9-12 inch height adjustability, it provides a stable shooting platform for those critical moments, especially when dealing with those pesky angles.
What I particularly appreciate about this bipod is its overmolded flex-ready joint. It's like having an extra grip of confidence, knowing that my shot won't be compromised by the slightest wobble. And it's designed to be adaptable, so no matter the angle, you'll always have a steady hand.
It's not all smooth sailing though. As with any gadget, there's always a learning curve, and it took me a bit of time to get the hang of mounting it onto my Picatinny rail. But once I figured it out, it was game on.
All in all, if you're hunting or shooting in situations where angles play a significant role, this Swagger SEA12 Shooter Extreme Angle Bipod is a worthy investment. It's robust, reliable, and can be your companion through those thrilling moments in the wild.

🔗TraverseTrack Bipod for Sling Swivel Connection

https://preview.redd.it/q6bftvjczb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b490720b46989f9b3e30473d2fc0d383bf50436
Lately, I've been using the Blackhawk Sportster TraverseTrack Bipod, and I must say, it's been quite a game changer for me. The bipod has been incredibly helpful during my practice sessions and even made life simpler while tracking my targets.
First and foremost, the sturdy all-metal construction of the bipod has been quite impressive. It carries a robust and durable vibe that makes me feel safe and confident while holding it. The tubular legs have always been steady, even when the targets started to move. Its horizontal traverse allows me to make smooth, steady movements with minimal effort.
What I've found particularly useful is the pivot action feature. It makes it seamless to level my gun when I'm shooting on uneven terrains, thus providing a dependable and consistent shooting experience without any hassle. The leg adjustment is just a breeze with the help of the rapid-adjust lever lock. The legs automatically return to their upright position whenever I need them to be, which has been a genuine relief.
The ability to attach this bipod to my sling swivel stud has also been a significant win. It's straightforward, and the convenience and maneuverability it brings into play are noteworthy.
However, despite these upsides, I've also had a few gripes. For one, I found the legs to be just a little too fragile at the locking tabs. I don't know if it's a manufacturing issue or if I just had bad luck, but both tabs broke within a week. I had to resort to using some blue loc tite to fix the issue, which was an inconvenience.
Secondly, I do wish the legs were a bit longer, to make it more suitable for my needs in certain shooting positions. The existing one sometimes feels a bit too short for what I had in mind.
Lastly, this one might just be a me thing, but I felt it could be a bit lighter, especially when carrying it around for long. It's not a major issue, but it would have been a pleasant addition for sure.
Overall, the Blackhawk Sportster TraverseTrack Bipod has been a valuable addition to my arsenal. It boasts of a number of convenient features that have significantly enhanced my shooting experience, but like any other mechanical contraption, not every aspect has been perfect.

🔗Accu-Tac FC-5 G2 F-Class Bipod for Long-Range Shooting

https://preview.redd.it/08a3fnyczb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c5e1ce5ad871e57151e19300e0f994f8e3b39a92
I've been using the Accu-Tac FC-5 G2 Arca Spec Bipod for a few weeks now, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. This F-Class bipod is incredibly versatile, perfect for long-range target shooting, competitions, and even airgun use. It's a bit more expensive than your usual bipods, but trust me, it's worth every penny.
The one feature that stood out to me the most is how stable this bipod is. It allows the rifle to sit between your legs, which ensures accuracy and reduces movement from recoil. It's even suitable for AR 10 Bipod applications, but you don't have to limit yourself to those.
One thing I noticed was that the cant adjustment lever can be repositioned, but don't use a tool to tighten the tension. Other than that, I've been really impressed with how easy it is to deploy the leg positions and how secure it is when locked in place. I'll definitely consider this option next time I'm looking for a bipod.

🔗UTG Pro Recon 360 TL 7-9" MLOK Bipod: 360-Degree Swivel, Adjustable Height, and Nonslip Rubberized Foot Pads

https://preview.redd.it/u0nzb5fdzb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=039234688867cbdc6dc145c1c33bf41a18cf4ecd
As a reviewer, I've been using the UTG Pro Recon bipod for a while now, and it has been quite an experience. I particularly enjoy the fact that it's adjustable both in height and swivel, allowing me to set up the most stable platform for my rifle.
The 3-position folding legs come in handy when I need to pack up quickly, and the lockable leg extensions ensure security. However, the rubber feet at the end of the legs do slip a bit on some surfaces, which can be quite annoying. Despite the minor inconvenience, the bipod has proven to be a reliable piece of gear, providing the stability and versatility I need for my shooting adventures.

🔗Heavy Duty AR-10 Adjustable Swivel Bipod

https://preview.redd.it/p4hqzntdzb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5deb7796b5a51f5ff8799503de8f3ee056d545db
I recently tried out the Tac Shield Heavy Duty Pivoting Bi-Pod, and honestly, it's been a game-changer in my shooting setup. The adjustable shooting heights make it perfect for uneven terrain, thanks to the pivoting design and quick adjustment pivot lever. The precision tension leg locks are a nice touch, ensuring a secure fit no matter what surface I'm on.
What really stood out to me, though, were the reinforced tension springs. These bad boys have made a significant difference when it comes to durability. I love how sturdy and reliable they feel, and I can tell that they're built to last. The ribbed grip caps on the bottom legs also add a touch of convenience, providing a steady and secure rest whenever I need it.
The spring assist leg retraction feature is fantastic too - it makes it incredibly easy to retract the legs, and the spring return release buttons ensure a quick and positive retraction every time. All in all, this Tac Shield Heavy Duty Pivoting Bi-Pod has definitely become a staple in my shooting gear. Highly recommended!

🔗Advanced Portable Sling Stud Bipod with Switcheroo System

https://preview.redd.it/0w0pgo5ezb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fccd0c7f92b608186859c8a7ea861e83bca4977d
This BOG Adrenaline Switcheroo Bipod has been the perfect addition to my arsenal lately, providing that extra support for my gun when needed. One thing I particularly love is the high-density foam grips, which not only make it comfortable to hold but also ensure a firm and secure grip even in unexpected situations.
However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. Although the rotating head lets me shoot from various angles, it can sometimes be a bit slow when deploying the bipod in a hurry. Additionally, the product description mentioned a Switcheroo system, but I wasn't quite sure what that was about, as I haven't had much occasion to change my optics while using this bipod.
Overall, I'm quite happy with this bipod and how it's performed for me in my hunting endeavors so far. It's lightweight, incredibly stable, and the high-density foam grips ensure a comfortable yet firm grip. This bipod has definitely made my hunting experiences more enjoyable and successful.

Hi apes,

Can you feel it? Its finally here, but its not really anything like what we thought, ITS BETTER! That said I know how unforgiving you are so ill start with my superstonk credentials . Its just a link to my first post here so you will know that I am a dumbass ape that thinks the orange crayons taste the best.
Even so i expect to get torn up but I cant stop thinking about this, however before we start.

I want to take a moment to thank Roaring Kitty for everything. You made us a family, made us money and most important of all you gave us hope, there really was none. Even if we fail it was worth every penny.
Personally I had just lost my mom from COVID. We were so poor she died alone in a rehab bed since the beds were full in the hospital. We could not see her since it was a secure facility, she was just, gone. So many of us lost.
That is when I met the apes, your apes, your movement, and then it became our movement.
Kitty, you will never have to buy another beer again in your life. That goes double for your wife who also must have had to endured some shit, from both friend and foe. Hi Mrs. Kitty.
You didn't have to do any of this and you have inspired me and others to change the world, with or without tendies. You are not alone, we are on your motherfucking left!
Your Hamms is on us! Cheers!

alright so on with it, most of this is tin foil hat, but we are used to that.
Since we have so many new apes, many whom have felt the pain of being the victims of market manipulation this week, I will be defining things that are common knowledge for us Silverbacks.
all of this is, like my opinion man ok?

WHATS WITH ALL THE MEMES FROM KITTY?

They are a genius move that do 2 things.
1- The Memes give us hints into what the plan is that cannot be stopped at the same time circumventing AI and the ALADDIN algorithm that reads these posts and adjusts the shorts position accordingly. While simultaneously making everyone ask "is it him?" this is called plausible deniability. Aladdin controls 70% of the market and is controlled at least laterally by a shithead named kenny, we don't like kenny, but he is irrelevant now.
2- The Memes are also a trap for the shorts who are thinking in an archaic way, spending literally billions to keep the price down using Synthetic shares. Maximizing the payoff by making them borrow more shares from us!

Selling him short like that, Shame on you!
But honestly I don't know.

WHAT IS A SYNTHETIC SHARE? WTF IS A DARKPOOL?

Synthetic shares, in the context of "seller boxing" and dark pool trading, refer to financial instruments that replicate the economic effects of owning actual shares without representing real equity ownership in a company. These shares are created through derivatives like options, swaps, or other financial instruments. When combined with seller boxing and dark pool trading, synthetic shares can play a significant role in market manipulation strategies. Here’s how this process generally works:
Seller Boxing Explained: Seller boxing is a strategy used to suppress the price of a stock by overwhelming the market with sell orders, often without actual stock changing hands. This keeps the stock price artificially low and can create a negative perception of the stock's value, making it unattractive to potential buyers.
Dark Pools Explained: Dark pools are private exchanges or forums for trading securities, not accessible by the public. They are often used by institutional investors to make large trades without exposure.
To KISS : Synthetic shares are just that, fake. But they important how we are going to the fucking moon, its how we are going to get paid. Last week a massive amount of dark pool synthetic shares were used.
At this moment you should understand that if the price is fake, and even buying at the tippy top last week is still a good bet, when MOASS happens.

OK SO WHEN IN THE FUCK IS MOASS?

According to the memes within a few weeks, be zen there is a plan.
This is the part where I get crucified by my fellow apes, and I am happy to take my licks.
I Believe that if MOASS could happen on the open "fair" market it would have in 2021 and again last week.
I believe that the only way to have MOASS is away from Aladdin, halts and dark pools. we must completely be out of the bog of eternal stench.
THE WORLD saw first hand last week, and it was maybe even for our benefit, that MOASS cannot happen in the fair market exchange with halts and the opposition illegal tactics.
So either GME cleans up the entire system that was created to work against us and take our homes, businesses and lives. Or we see what's in the box. (couldn't find the kitty "seven" meme)
I think that Kitty and the gang know this and we are all getting our tendies in a different way and Its bigger than we ever thought possible, BEAR with me please.

How would you communicate if anything you said was used against you? Ever had to prove you are human?

You see Aladdin and its bitch Ais ( I'm talking to you Aladdin, fuck you) can't understand memes, A computer does not know why Dickbutt is funny. SO the hedgies have weaponized social media against us with bots and AI. Anything you say or do is a product they can use against you, your words have value and sometimes determine what happens to your favorite stock.
Hence the Kitty Aladdin Meme
"They are fast but I am faster" Aladdin is the bad guy here. Go watch it again. "all you got to to is jump".
IF MOASS CANT HAPPEN ON THE fair MARKET THEN WHY ARE YOU SO HANDSOME AND CHIPPER?
Because of genetics and the filing of a document (prospectus supplement) and the EARLY preliminary earnings report.
It is not very common that earnings reports are released early. Very much less common that they are released early WITH A LOSS.
There was a big chunk of money "missing" "lost", where did it go?
Well put on your tin hat as this is what keeps me up at night.
KITTY/GME/TEDDY HOLDINGS/? wanted us to put together that they are creating a huge holding company conglomerate and we will be in it trading our shares for something that is shielded from the market manipulation of Aladdin.
The "missing" money is a hint along with the filing. The "LOSS" on the earnings report had the wonderful effect of triggering the algo to kick into gear and short the shit out of our beloved GME.
THIS MADE THE HEDGIES HIT THE LOWEST PRICE THEY COULD MAXIMIZING PROFIT GAINS FOR THOSE OF US NOT CHEATING THE SYSTEM
They used their own algorithm against them to put another nail in the coffin. I still am in shock from the move, bravo!!!
So what's it all mean?
I believe that Gmerica/TEDDY HOLDINGS (and others) has already been created, that the "missing" money was used in the deals. These were probably set in motion years ago, and cannot be stopped now.
For every 1 GameStop share, they'll get 4 of Another company they made the deal with. And for every 4 GameStop shares, they'll get 7 of say Shit, shower and shave shares, for example. (a real possibility, if you know you know)
This happens between companies attempting to purchase each other using stock as the currency.
As for the holders they will likely get to swap out their shares for the shares in the new massive holding company.
I think that we will be trading our stocks in for shares with blockchain attached and we will be shielded from market manipulation. (tin foil straight up guess)
Lets say this happens and they give a dividend. That would trigger THE MOTHERFUCKER OF ALL SHORT SQUEEZES. the MFOASS™
Oh and to get really APE kicked in the face here, since we would no longer need to lock the float to prove to some bought worthless politician, that they are doing something illegal DRS becomes less important. I say this having another 200 shares headed to the purple circle so be gentle.
Since they create shares from nothing then it does not matter how many are Street named.
I still say buy, hodl, DRS. but read the prospectus supplement. If I'm right it does not matter what you broker you use, you are in.
Add in the new CAT (consolidated audit trail) system although still controlled by shitheads and we have ourselves more than a few tendies. Which jives with GME and kitty not leaving any ape behind, not a one. I think the leaning forward meme is when it became active.
WHAT IS THE BEST PART?
The best part is that the companies that would comprise this conglomerate will include SSSY, Lego, Chewy, sax 5th ave and many others (in the memes) and it would rival amazon. Only less heartless and possibly even a decent wage.
Many of the stores that we would have in the holding companies were shorted into oblivion by the very assholes that we are revolting against.
Sweeet Sweet JUSTICE!
.... what I am saying is that...
oooo look a penny...

2024.05.19 07:51 Stanley232323 Daily Community Tiering Post Day 32: What does the Delphox say? It's Delphox!

Hello again everybody!
Before we get started on today's post the current voting for Infernape currently has votes for B tier with a solid lead!
So with that being said it looks like Infernape is likely to join the B tier! (Also the previous vote for Aggron did end up with B tier votes in the lead as well) Like with all previous votes I'll continue to check the numbers and if anything changes I'll update it on tomorrow's post.
(Please note that this voting/tiering is centered around Classic as after a certain point in Endless only about 5 Pokemon and 2 abilities are truly viable.)
So current tiers are:
S tier - Garganacl, Cloyster, Skeledirge, Gholdengo, Tinkaton
A tier - Gyarados/Mega, VenusauMega/Dyna, Aegislash, Corviknight/Dyna, Excadrill, GardevoiMega, Toxapex, ScizoMega, GengaMega/Dyna
B tier - Kanto-Persian/Dynamax Kanto-Meowth, Weavile, Starmie, Rhyperior, Quagsire, Mamoswine, Whimsicott, Aggron/Mega, Infernape
C tier - Linoone
F tier - Dustox
With that being said let's get to today's vote!
Today is day 32 of tier voting and today we will discuss the magic fox, Delphox! After 3 straight generations of Fire/Fighting starters Delphox was a welcome change with the (at the time) unique and new Fire/Psychic typing. As of now there is also Armarouge with that typing but for 3 generations Delphox was the only Pokemon of that type combination (even it's pre-evolutions were just pure Fire types). Delphox has a good Special Attack stat, which is the second highest of all the Fire type starters (even beating Skeledirge, with only Hisuian-Typhlosion having a higher Special Attack), and the 4th highest among all the starters combined (behind Primarina, Inteleon and the aforementioned Hisuian-Typhlosion). It also has good Speed and Special Defense stats at the tradeoff of being kind of frail on the physical Defense side. It's Hidden Ability hasn't been known as the best historically, but in this game it actually is pretty useful! On top of that this game gives it some more useful tools in the form of really strong egg moves (including one of the strongest moves in the game) and a Hidden Ability which synergizes with one of its other egg moves extremely well and also gives it protection against priority attacks (most of which are physical attacks and Sucker Punch in particular can be very threatening for it). It's natural movepool also has some solid utility options and decent coverage moves.
(Also here is the post with rules for voting/tiering posts and a little more explanation about them in general: https://www.reddit.com/pokerogue/s/0LNZhPPzR9 Links to past votes can all be found here as well in comments added to the OP with each new vote)
And here is a quick reminder of what each tier generally means:
S tier: Top tier, can make or break your entire run, essentially the cream of the crop
A tier: really strong but not quite top tier, maybe slightly outclassed or has a slight weakness holding it back
B tier: solid choices that can make it to your endgame team, might be reliant on team composition to truly function well or might just be outclassed as well
C tier: usually early-mid game Mons, ones you don't really want to take to end game if you can avoid it, usually pretty decently glaring weakness but something redeeming enough to keep from F tier
F tier: no reason to use in end game unless you're doing it for a meme/joke
Abstain/No Opinion: this will be a voting option mostly just for Pokemon people haven't unlocked/used to their full potential yet. If Abstaining votes outvote each individual tier then the Pokemon will be tabled for the time being and another vote will open up for it later (can mostly see this happening with Legendaries).

🔗Tough Vault Takedown Rifle & Shotgun Case by Pelican

https://preview.redd.it/tstjbbv9ib1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6d6ef383f038e45cc16a08f7d15c94b6b417b70
I recently discovered the Pelican V700 Vault Takedown Rifle and Shotgun Case, and it's truly a game changer for transportation of your beloved firearms. As an avid hunter, I appreciate that this case provides a high level of security, offering crushproof, dustproof, and weather resistant protection. The sturdy handles ensure your rifles or shotguns can withstand even the toughest conditions on your hunting trips.
One feature I particularly love is the presence of six push button latches that offer secure closure with easy-open access. This ensures your weapons are safe and secure while also making it convenient for you to access them when needed. The case also comes with specific foam designed to fit takedown firearms and related accessories, providing your gear with excellent protection during transportation.
However, like any product, there are some cons as well. The case is quite bulky and heavy, making it less ideal for those looking for a lightweight solution. Additionally, cutting and shaping the foam to fit your specific equipment can be time-consuming. Overall, despite its drawbacks, I would highly recommend this gun case to anyone in need of a reliable and resilient transportation solution for their takedown firearms.

🔗Evolution Outdoor Waxed Canvas Rifle Case for 1 Scoped Rifle with Zippered Pocket

https://preview.redd.it/9u134c8aib1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a224fd4ba1667cfbf97b4de44e1e8f833e8a5f4d
I recently got an opportunity to use the Evolution Outdoor Rawhide Rifle Case for my shooting practice. I was really impressed with the choice of materials and craftsmanship involved in creating this piece. The waxed canvas outer shell is not just stylish but also robust enough to stand up to regular usage without showing signs of wear.
One feature that caught my eye was the interior flannel lining, which not only provides a classic touch to the overall design but also offers excellent protection for my firearm. The heavy gauge foam padding and 24 oz. cotton duck canvas provide an extra layer of security and handling ease.
Despite these high points, it did come with some minor drawbacks. The full-length, antique-brass zippers are reliable, but they may require some extra care during closing to prevent them from jamming. The front storage pocket could be slightly more spacious to accommodate more gear.
Overall, I find the Evolution Outdoor Rawhide Rifle Case to be an excellent choice. Its classic design appeals to the vintage lover in me, while its superior build quality ensures my rifle is safe and secure, ready for action at any time.

🔗Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case

https://preview.redd.it/7qc6vqraib1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5f017e58bfe2ec96fd189fd8789c9c2f197f619b
Experience the innovation of the Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case! This ground-breaking design revolutionizes how we store and maintain our firearms. The patented side flap allows for seamless access to your gun, while its HD2 material and water-resistant nylon interior liner provide top-notch protection. The adjustable shoulder strap, outer pocket for choke tubes, and sturdy snap fastenings make it the perfect companion for keeping your firearms safe, dry, and ready for action.
I've been using this case for some time now and I can't sing its praises enough. The side-flap feature is a game-changer; it made it incredibly easy to clean and dry my shotgun after a hunting trip. The interior is made of synthetic materials that don't absorb water or dirt, which is a lifesaver when your gear gets splashed with mud and water.
A small drawback I've noticed is that the exterior pocket can be a bit challenging to close if you're storing choke tubes. However, I suppose this is a minor concern given the case's overall performance and quality. The durability has been impressive; I've taken this case out in all conditions and it's held up beautifully.
In summary, the Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case is a brilliant and practical solution for storing and maintaining your firearms. Its innovative design, durable construction, and water resistance make it a must-have for hunters and shooting enthusiasts alike. Despite the minor issue with the exterior pocket, I wholeheartedly recommend this case for its performance and value.

🔗Avery Floating Gun Case for Waterfowl Hunting

https://preview.redd.it/8lw2grzaib1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bbd30c93a769a22e1ea2e8f76f335f713afa1566
As an avid waterfowl hunter, I can safely say that the Avery Floating 2.0 Gun Case in Max5 camo has completely changed my game. I remember one chilly morning when my shotgun took an unexpected dip in the water. Thanks to the water-resistant DuraMax material of this case, I didn't have to worry about my trusty companion being ruined by the moisture.
What I especially love about this case is how it ensures protection in water with its floating design. It's like having a personal bodyguard for my precious shotgun! And let's not forget the adjustable shoulder strap which makes carrying this beast of a case incredibly comfortable.
However, there are two downsides to this otherwise fantastic gun case. Firstly, it tends to run on the smaller side, causing some issues when it comes to fitting in larger shotguns with extended chokes. Secondly, even though the material is strong and reliable, it does lack a little in terms of water resistance.
Overall, if you're looking for a solid and reliable gun case that will protect your shotgun from unexpected mishaps while you're out hunting, then the Avery Floating 2.0 Gun Case in Max5 camo is definitely worth considering. Just remember to check its compatibility with your specific shotgun first!

I recently took the Allen Ranch Canvas 52 Shotgun Case out on a hunting trip, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations. The exterior zippered pocket provides quick access to essentials like ammunition and other accessories, while the plush padded interior ensures my dear shotgun is safe from dings and scratches.
The weight of 363 grams felt comfortably light in my hands, thanks to its padded handles. Despite its compact size, there was ample storage space for both my shotgun and all its necessary gear. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the design - it's clear that this case was crafted with serious shooters in mind.
However, one minor inconvenience was that the case was a bit too tight for some of my larger hunting knives. Though this was not a deal-breaker by any means, it did require a little extra effort to fit everything in securely.
Overall, the Allen Ranch Canvas 52 Shotgun Case has proven to be an invaluable addition to my hunting gear. Its superior craftsmanship, plentiful storage, and comfortable handling make it worthy of the highest praise.

🔗Durable Cotton Duck Canvas Rifle Case with Abrasion Resistance

I've been using the Allen Ranch Canvas Rifle Case for a few months now and it's been an absolute game-changer. Not only does it securely hold my hunting rifle, but the plush quilted interior provides extra protection. The cotton duck exterior fabric with abrasion resistant synthetic base is a real bonus too, especially when I'm hunting in rough terrain. It's also got a big exterior zippered pocket where I stash extra ammo, hearing protection, or whatever else I need on my hunting trips. Plus, the lockable zippers and metal D-ring ensure that my rifle stays safe and secure when not in use. Another great feature is the padded carrying handles, which make it easy and comfortable to carry. The only downside? The exterior fabric might attract more dirt and dust than other materials. But that's a small price to pay for such an otherwise fantastic rifle case. "
In this review, I highlighted the safe and secure nature of the rifle case, the abundant storage, the plush quilted interior for added protection, and the convenient padded carrying handles. However, I also mentioned a minor downside to the cotton duck exterior fabric's tendency to attract more dirt and dust than other materials. Overall, I would recommend this rifle case to fellow hunters looking for a durable and protective option.

The Browning Trapper Creek Shooting Vest is an exceptional product that provides optimal comfort and convenience for avid hunters and shooting enthusiasts. This lightweight, open-mesh vest is perfect for hot summer days, offering the perfect blend of protection, breathability, and easy access. The superior design boasts a divided pocket on each side, allowing you the flexibility of carrying shells of different sizes or using the second section for either spent shells or alternative shot sizes. One of the highlights of this vest is its compatibility with both shotguns and rifles, ensuring a wide range of applicability.
The high-quality leather shoulder patch is another noteworthy feature, providing excellent protection and stability for your shooting arm. This helps to keep the gun securely mounted in position, enabling you to maintain a consistent shooting form and improve your accuracy. 🔗Browning Waterfowl Floating Shotgun Case for 54" Shotgun

https://preview.redd.it/mitmsqjcib1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d03de5a610ab0f4ac67b987f368793c107dab6a7
I've had the pleasure of using the Browning Waterfowl Floater 54-inch Shotgun Case Major Brown 1419509852 over the past year and it's been a game-changer. The heavy-duty design gives me peace of mind knowing my shotgun is well protected. As someone who often finds themselves on a boat hunting for ducks, the ability to trust this case to keep my gun safe from water damage is truly comforting.
One of the features that really stands out to me is the high-density closed cell foam padding. It ensures that my shotgun stays dry even if it does happen to fall into the water. The other day I accidentally dropped my case from my boat, and while my heart dropped along with it, I was relieved to see my beloved shotgun bobbing on the surface safely.
Another detail I appreciate about this case is the excellent quality of workmanship. The fabric is rugged and durable, able to withstand years of use without showing signs of wear. The web handles and hanging loop make it easy to carry and store when not in use.
However, there are some minor drawbacks. The detachable shoulder strap could use improvement; it tends to loosen over time and doesn't stay put as securely as I would like. Additionally, while the Browning Vintage Tan camo pattern is attractive, it might not be to everyone's taste.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Browning Waterfowl Floater 54-inch Shotgun Case Major Brown 1419509852. Its exceptional protection against water damage, high-quality construction, and stylish appearance make it an excellent choice for any serious waterfowl hunter. Despite its minor cons, this case has become an indispensable part of my hunting gear!

🔗Premium Shotgun Case for Ultimate Protection and Convenience

As a gun enthusiast who constantly needs to transport my treasured shotgun, Uncle Mike's Padded Long Gun Case has been a reliable companion. The Forest Green color lends an understated elegance to its sturdy exterior. I've found that the balanced, wraparound nylon handles add a measure of comfort while carrying the case.
However, it was the model's thickness that was the real standout feature. With thick padding and resilient construction, this case ensures my firearm remains secure during transportation. This superior protection is worth the small weight increase. The full-length zippers do a fantastic job of allowing the cases to open flat, making it easier to access the shotgun inside.
Nevertheless, the model does have a couple of minor drawbacks. It's not the most spacious case available, leading to some snug fits for larger firearms. And despite its snag-resistant lining, the case can sometimes catch on door frames or hooks in storage, which could be a concern for those not willing to be extra cautious.
Overall, Uncle Mike's Padded Long Gun Case is a product that caters to the specific needs of a gun enthusiast, striking a balance between style and practicality. It has become an essential element in my firearm arsenal, providing a level of security and protection that I can trust.

🔗Durable Floating Gun Carry Bag with Adjustable Shoulder Strap

I had the pleasure of trying out the Rig 'Em Right Sure Shot Floating Gun Case, and I must say, it's a game-changer. The dense floatation feature was fantastic; it helped keep my gun safe and dry, even in the roughest waters. The full-length zipper was incredibly convenient, allowing me to easily access my gun when needed. The oversized zipper pulls were a nice touch as well, making it easy to open and close the case with one hand.
The soft lining within the case was a nice surprise, providing extra protection for my firearm. The adjustable shoulder strap made it comfortable to carry, and the double-reinforced tip was a reliable addition that helped ensure the case would last for years.
One downside I found was the storage pocket wasn't as large as I had hoped, but it still held some essentials nicely. Another minor inconvenience was that the case wasn't quite as camouflaged as I had hoped, so it might not be ideal for stealthy hunts. However, overall, I was impressed with the Rig 'Em Right Sure Shot Floating Gun Case and would highly recommend it to any gun enthusiast.

I've had the pleasure of trying Allen Company's Leadville 52" Shotgun Case in real life situations. It's not just a shotgun case; it's the perfect companion for all my shooting expeditions. The 52-inch size caters to almost all types of shotguns, and the ultra-dense, dual foam padding system makes it almost impossible to damage the precious shotgun.
The Endura fabric covering is a real game-changer. It not only looks good but its easy-to-clean feature is a lifesaver. Another plus point is the lockable zippers. They offer a sense of security that is hard to ignore. The reinforced webbed carrying handles make carrying the case a breeze.
However, there is one con that stood out to me quite prominently - the size is quite bulky. It can be a hassle to carry around in crowded places. Nevertheless, considering the amount of protection it provides and the convenience it offers, it's certainly worth a try.

And, it's quite the sight! The padded interior with velvet lining is like a gentle cradle for your precious gun. The thermoformed ABS plastic exterior is sturdy and secure, making sure my shotgun withstands any bump, drop, or scratch.
It’s a pleasure to note, handling this case is a breeze. The durable handles make it super easy to carry to and from the range. As a reviewer who's tried the Evolution Outdoor Design EVODS Mesquite Shotgun case, let me share my experience. The case has a generous length of 50 inches, which easily accommodates my long-barreled shotgun. The quality of the canvas is top-notch, providing a sense of durability.
However, one drawback I faced was its narrow width and depth, making it challenging to fit in one of my ten different shotguns. Despite this hiccup, I was impressed by the case's protective features and its reasonable price. Overall, it proved to be a useful accessory in my outdoor arsenal.

Buyer's Guide

Canvas shotgun cases have become the go-to choice for gun enthusiasts and sportspersons due to their durability, versatility, and stylish appearance. These cases come in various sizes, designs, and features to accommodate different shotgun types, providing ample protection for your precious firearms. In this section, we will discuss the essential factors to consider when purchasing a canvas shotgun case, as well as some general advice to help you make the best choice.

Size and Shape

https://preview.redd.it/0ok5kpqfib1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=228dd0c3aff0591c87def7325ee047be57a2ed44
The first factor to consider is the size and shape of your shotgun. Most canvas cases are designed to fit different types, sizes, and barrel lengths, but it's always a good idea to compare the interior dimensions of the case with your firearm's dimensions. This will ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

Construction and Material

High-quality canvas cases are constructed with heavy-duty materials, such as 18-ounce cotton canvas, and reinforced stitching for enhanced durability. Additionally, look for cases with a PVC coating to provide extra water resistance and UV protection, ensuring the case remains in good condition even when exposed to the elements.

Locking System

A reliable locking mechanism is crucial for keeping your shotgun safe from theft or accidental discharge. Look for cases with sturdy locks, latches, or combination locks, preferably one that can be easily secured when you're not using the case. Some high-end options may also have a built-in combination lock, ensuring your firearm stays secure during transportation.

Design and Aesthetics

Canvas shotgun cases come in various design options, from classic brown to stylish camouflage patterns. Consider your personal preferences and how the case will be used when choosing the design. A well-designed case not only adds a touch of style but also helps you easily identify your firearm in a crowd or storage area.

Maintenance and Care

Canvas shotgun cases require minimal maintenance, but it's essential to clean and maintain them properly to ensure their longevity. Always check for wear and tear, especially in high-stress areas like zippers and seams. If needed, repair or replace these components before they compromise the overall durability of the case. Additionally, store your case in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent mold and mildew growth.

Pricing and Value

Canvas shotgun cases come in a range of price points, from budget-friendly options to high-end, premium cases. While it's tempting to go for the cheapest option, remember that you typically get what you pay for in terms of quality, materials, and features. Invest in a high-quality canvas case that meets your specific needs and budget to ensure long-lasting protection for your prized shotgun.

2024.05.19 05:33 ilion211 Just ranting

Like the title says this me ranting about a few things. I'm level 124 with just over 400 hours of playtime and these are things I see a lot. There's a lot of level 50+ level players that still don't have a clue about what's going on. Let's start with boosters. Stamina and hellpod optimization are a must. I can't believe the number of random squads I join and nobody has chosen either one of them. And any planet that has harsh weather conditions makes muscle a must. Snow, sand and mud will slow you down. Boosters that benefit you the whole game are way more valuable than boosters that are situational. Some of you still don't know that there's a ping button and insist on shooting teammates to get their attention. You get no experience for kills so please stop attacking every enemy that you see, only kill what you need to. Don't reinforce teammates in a crowd full of enemies. All of you weapons can kill from a distance stop running up on the enemy putting yourself between them and your squad. All you doing is taking away the teams options for stratagems because they're trying not to kill you too. If you're playing with a full squad don't take more than one resupply without asking if anyone needs it. And while we're on resupplies if you're away from the rest of the team don't call one down for yourself without asking your team first. If you want to go lone wolf then you need to know how to find ammo without putting a burden on the rest of the team. And the last thing I want to mention is extraction. Why is it so hard to get on the plane? Everybody wants to stand around and fight instead of just getting on the plane. The mission is over. You want to fight some more then get on the plane and start a new mission. Why do some of you always have to throw that 500 kg at the plane before you get in? Ok rants over.

Hiloooo all, my name is Genesis! I'm 17 years old (18 in a month), nonbinary, autistic, and a furry. If that controversial amalgamation of social identities hasn't dissuaded you, read further, dear sojourner... My final year of highschool is coming to a close and with it a lot of change will usher in. It's a bit overwhelming to think about, but for now I'm cruising and things are placid (minus finals, which actually aren't so bad). However, I find myself somewhat lonely - and would love to pick up a few friends to go into this new era of my life with.
Anyhow, more in terms of my interests, I love a lot of intellectual things. I'm very drawn into political theory right now, philosophy and psychology are also things I eventually want to get a better grasp on. I've been reading a lot of classic Marxist canon lately, I got into Capital but have been taking a break to focus on ending my school year. The intellectual scene however is very much bogged down by holier-than-thou individuals who do a lot of arguing, polarizing, and little action or community work - as they like to think they're above the world. As a member of the world this irks me. So, inevitably, I want to use whatever I learn to engage with my community and promote meaningful political action - though for now my study hasn't amounted to much materially.
As for hobbies that allow me to step away from the chaos of the world and relax, I love a lot of things; from videogames, to television, to Dungeons & Dragons. I typically love RPGs when it comes to gaming, for now I'm balancing my time between Animal Well, NieR: Automata, and Stardew Valley. In terms of television, I'm big into sci-fi right now (Bonus points if you're a Trekkie. Need someone to get me into that!), in particular Battlestar Galactica has kept me hanging on every episode. And though D&D is the TTRPG im into - this summer I want to try and explore the tabletop scene more extensively, maybe Pathfinder or even Warhammer 40k.
If you feel we could bond, don't hesitate to drop a DM! Feel free to even stalk my profile a lil' if you want to uncover more deadly secrets about me. But plsplspls give me something more than "hi" or "hru," or I may ignore you

Experiment: how many trucks can solo Deluge in Hardcore Mode? (DLCs included)
Hello everyone. During the last weeks, I've been using all the trucks that have a crane addon to see how many of them can complete Deluge by themselves in the difficulty that disables log stations. Unexpectedly, all of them can! Here I show you the 14 trucks that are capable of doing this plus the time it took me to complete the level with them:

N°1: C-260 (26 minutes)

I didn't expect this truck to perform so wonderfully in mud! 6 minutes away from achieving world record (20 minutes in Casual Mode by Packo Klogacko), though I think this is the best time for Hardcore Mode.

N°2: C-4310 (31 minutes)

From the three trucks on the list that can only use the medium logs cart to deliver the required points to the lumber mill, this and N°5 are much more fuel efficient.

N°3: C-255 (32 minutes)

There's not much to say about the C-255 that hasn't been mentioned before. It's just a great truck overall, the one that is used to compare other 3-star trucks.

N°4 / N°5: C-65111 and C-375 (33 minutes)

https://preview.redd.it/mrmqpdbor91d1.jpg?width=1599&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=44480562b33dc9cf86d23deebac8b018fc070d5b
The top 5 trucks perform very similar to each other, which means the only difference between them is determined by my human errors.

N°6: C-6317 (35 minutes)

The 4-star truck that performs like a 3-star one. It can carry medium logs, but because I only used its short logs carrier it was unnecesary. Plus, because of its fuel consumption, I had to bring a fuel trailer with me.

N°7: C-432010 (43 minutes)

This strong workhorse really likes gasoline, so I had to bring a fuel carrier to the border of the river so I could refuel there, which was a bit annoying considering I had to use another trailer to deliver the logs, which meant I had to attach and detach many times.

N°8: Western Star 6900XD (44 minutes)

Since this truck can't have a garage addon on it, I had to bring the second garage trailer connected to it via a winch (this is a problem all trucks from N°10 share). The 6900XD didn't perform as good as I expected in mud, though it has a really good speed which didn't make this completion last for longer.

N°9: C-256 (52 minutes)

This is the truck I decided to start this challenge with. Because of that, this was recorded in a different format: videoclip. Here you can see how I loaded the logs to deliver all the necessary points to the lumber mill in one go (from 1:44 it's just music so you can enjoy it).

N°10: D-538 (1 hour and 1 minute)

At first glance I thought I was going to have a bad experience with this truck, but once I put Low+ with cruise mode activated, it demonstrated that I was wrong. I really enjoyed driving it, though its slow speed and low power-to-weight ratio made this completion take much longer than normal.

N°11: K-9000 Forwarder (1 hour and 8 minutes)

This truck has no problems with traversing the river, but because of its really high fuel consumption plus the fact that I was using all 8 wheels most of the time, I had to leave the garage trailers behind, refuel at the gas station and come back for them. This is something that also happens with the next two trucks, but with the Forwarder I've been found in a really bad situation: I had to use only the winch for 15 minutes in order to be able to refuel. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to reach the fuel station. Apart from that, it was pretty easy, as expected.

N°12: K-8400 Forwarder (1 hour and 15 minutes)

At first I thought this one was not going to be possible because the log crane can't reach the American medium log trailers, but I gave it a try; I had to tip them over in order to put the logs there; a lot easier than expected. The thing I hated the most about this and the next truck is the fact that I had to put the trailers at the log kiosk, go back to the garage to put the crane on the truck, put the logs on the trailers, go back to the garage to get rid of the crane and then I could finally do the delivery.

N°13: K-700 (1 hour and 35 minutes)

Almost the same as the previous one, with the exception that I didn't need to tip over the log trailers because they were easy to reach. Reason why it took me 20 more minutes to finish was because I wasn't sure about the needed amount of fuel so I crosssed the river with the log trailers, then I went back to the other side to refuel before crossing the river for the fourth time to finally deliver the logs with a full fuel tank. If I had taken the risk, I would've probably done it in the same time as the K-8400 Forwarder.

N°14: Freightliner FLD120 (2 hours and 19 minutes)

Trying to complete Deluge on Hardcore Mode with the Freightliner FLD120 only is like going on an expedition through the nine circles of hell. Everything is bad about it: lowest ground clearence among all trucks, the worst wheels in the game, no AWD, light enough for the river's current to push it away from the intended route and no garage addon (which doesn't make sense in my opinion). It took me 20 minutes to get to the river (which is already longer than N°1 took to complete Deluge), 20 minutes to cross it from east to west, 30 minutes to get out of the river, 30 minutes to get to the garage, 5 minutes to get to the log kiosk, 4 minutes to load the truck up (like every other truck with a log carrier and a crane), 5 minutes to get to the river again, 20 minutes to cross it from west to east and 20 minutes to finally deliver the logs and finish this horrendous experience! I never had to do as much save scumming as I did in this level. I seriously recommend not doing this.
And that's it for all the trucks that can complete Deluge in Hardcore Mode by themselves. See you on the next post!
Too long, didn't read:
There are 14 trucks that can solo Deluge in Hardore Mode. Here's the list (completion time included):
  1. C-260 (26 minutes)
  2. C-4310 (31 minutes)
  3. C-255 (32 minutes)
  4. C-65111 (33 minutes)
  5. C-375 (33 minutes)
  6. C-6317 (35 minutes)
  7. C-432010 (43 minutes)
  8. Western Star 6900XD (44 minutes)
  9. C-256 (56 minutes)
  10. D-538 (1 hour and 1 minute)
  11. K-9000 Forwarder (1 hour and 18 minutes)

2024.05.19 04:14 moose4 Starting on Black Hole Sun - where do I find missions?

Hey guys, I bought X4 earlier this week during the Steam sale and so far I'm impressed, but I've got a (probably stupid?) question. I know this is a wide-open sandbox game and there's no handholding, and I'm OK with that. I started with what I think is the bog-standard Terran "farm boy" narrative and I've got my newbie ship on a station at Black Hole Sun IV ready to head out into the deep black to make my way (or, more likely, die horribly trying). And I've seen some posts where doing missions is a good way to start. But where can I even get them? I can't find anybody on the station that gives out missions. I can find people to hire, that I obviously can't afford starting out, and traders, and that's about it. Where do I go to get missions?
(BTW, I did fly around outside the station for about 10 minutes and find one data leak but I think it gave me...well, I can't tell what it gave me. I'm still figuring my way around the interface a bit and can't find how to get to a list of missions in my Player Information section.)
Thanks.

2024.05.19 03:05 VonBagel Killer Concept: The Cryptid

Killer Concept: The Cryptid
https://preview.redd.it/sttmh3iv8a1d1.jpg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a0dd3d8efd653ab99cdb1b6faa2fba1b315d30d
I've had this thing tumbling around in my brain for a while, but never knew how I wanted to implement it. I thought for days on what I wanted to do, whether I wanted to go the route of having Bigfoot be some mystical nature wizard druid thing, or play into the stealth aspect. Eventually, after seeing a thread on this sub just this morning about what mythological or folkloric monsters people would want to see in DBD, I decided to go for stealth, which the real-life Bigfoot is most famous for. It certainly fits into the title I decided to give it.
Unlike my last couple of killers, who I intentionally tried to rate at 'Easy,' this one would be 'Hard.' The power itself is extremely simple, but it's incredibly easy for competent survivors to counter and requires a different playstyle akin to Ghostface. The Cryptid plays like a combination of Mirror Myers and Ghostface in one, having the ability to see through walls, but it has no instadown and relies on ambushing unaware survivors that it knows aren't looking its way.
It's hard to talk more about what is ultimately a concept that already exists in the game, so let's get right to it:
110% speed, 24m terror radius, Tall height (Trapper height)
--Passive: Just A Myth. The Cryptid begins the trial Skulking; while Skulking, it is undetectable, visibly blurry and indistinct, and makes absolutely no noise as it moves. When a survivor views from outside of a 24 meter radius, a Skulking Cryptid periodically fades completely from view. A survivor staring at the Cryptid from within a 24 meter radius for ~2 continuous seconds breaks it out of Skulking, at which point it becomes solid and distinct, is no longer undetectable, and begins making loud growling, chuffing, and footstep noises.
If no survivors look at the Cryptid for 6 continuous seconds, it resumes Skulking automatically. This timer is visible to the killer and resets every time a survivor looks at it, potentially alerting it to hidden survivors.
The Cryptid stops Skulking automatically if it comes within 12 meters of a hooked survivor (in the game proper there would be some finangling to give it leeway for survivors at different elevations), and cannot resume Skulking until it's no longer within this radius. Downed and hooked survivors can stop the Cryptid from Skulking. If the Cryptid becomes undetectable through any means, such as via perks, it begins Skulking automatically and cannot be broken out of its skulk until the undetectable effect ends.
--Power: Forest's Eyes. The Cryptid can only use this power while Skulking. This power operates on a meter; it has 30 charges, drains 3 per second while active, and recharges at a rate of 1 per second. When channeling its power, the Cryptid greatly slows itself and its vision slightly distorts at the edges as the power button is held. After a very short (~1 second) moment, it can see the auras of all survivors within 16 meters of itself, and can see a faint pink cone approximately 2 meters long, representing the direction the survivors are looking in. The Cryptid's aura sight extends outwards by 2 meters each second it spends channeling, to a maximum of 24 meters. A survivor's vision cone is not revealed unless their aura is.
This power acts in almost every respect as Myers stalking with the exception of its brief wind-up time before it reveals anything; it can be dropped instantly and the killer can attack immediately.
ADD-ONS
COMMON
  1. Polished Stones: The aura-reading range of Forest's Eyes extends by an additional 2m/second. The maximum aura reading range is extended by 6 meters.
  2. Brittle Leaves: It takes 0.25 extra seconds for a staring survivor to end the Cryptid's stealth.
  3. Stolen Glass Extends the initial aura-reading range of Forest's Eyes by 4 meters.
  4. Coyote Skull: The survivor which breaks the Cryptid out of stealth will scream and have their aura revealed for 2 seconds.
UNCOMMON
  1. Broken Cellphone: Forest's Eyes regenerates charges 30% faster.
  2. Thick Mud: Decrease the distance the Cryptid can be revealed from by 4 meters.
  3. Discarded Clothes: The Cryptid moves 20% faster while channeling Forest's Eyes.
  4. Bent Rifle: The Cryptid has 30% stun resistance while Skulking
  5. Bloodthirsty Bramble: Survivors damaged by the Cryptid's basic attacks while it's Skulking become hemorrhaged.
RARE
  1. Wolf Skull: Extends the initial aura-reading range of Forest's Eyes by 4 meters. The aura reading range of Forest's Eyes extends by an additional 2m/second.
  2. Dark Leaves: It takes 0.5 extra seconds for a staring survivor to end the Cryptid's stealth.
  3. Human Skull: Forest's Eyes gains 10 additional charges, and regenerates charges 20% faster.
  4. Shattered Bear Traps: Decrease the distance the Cryptid can be revealed from by 6 meters.
  5. Ruined Car Engine: While Skulking, the Cryptid can hear survivors repairing generators from 8 meters further than usual.
VERY RARE
  1. Curse of Wrath: If a survivor ends the Cryptid's Skulking while it's in chase, it immediately gains a tier of Bloodlust.
  2. Curse of Failure: Survivors releasing a generator while the Cryptid is within 6 meters of them causes the generator to backfire and explode as if the survivor missed a skill check. This add-on can only trigger one such explosion every 15 seconds.
  3. Curse of Ruination: Being pallet stunned while Skulking breaks the pallet but immediately ends Skulking. The Cryptid cannot begin Skulking again until 10 seconds pass unless forced to skulk by a stealth perk.
  4. Curse of the Lost: A survivor damaged by the Cryptid's basic attack while it's skulking becomes exhausted for 5 seconds. An exhausted survivor takes 3 extra seconds of staring to end the Cryptid's Skulk.
IRIDESCENT
  1. Fateful Photograph: The Cryptid automatically begins Skulking each time a generator is completed. If it's broken out of its stealth within 10 seconds of a generator being completed, all survivors within 24 meters are blinded (akin to Two Can Play) for 2.3 seconds.
  2. Iridescent Bone Charm: The Cryptid's default movement speed becomes 3.8m/s and it gains a nondirectional lullaby out to 16 meters. Survivors hit by the Cryptid's basic attacks while it's Skulking are instantly put into the dying state.
PERKS
Hex: Curse of the Dancing Forest: The power of this Hex causes the woods to block every avenue of escape or progress, until they're lead right to you. Whenever a survivor is hooked for the first time in a trial, a random Dull Totem on the map ignites with the power of this Hex, and curses that survivor. As long as that survivor is cursed by this Hex, each time they come within 8 meters of a vault location, pallet, exit gate switch, Dull Totem, or generator that is not being worked on by another survivor, that prop becomes blocked by the Entity for them until they are no longer within 8 meters of that prop. The cursed survivor can see the aura of the totem carrying this Hex if they are within 24 meters of it.
This curse also ends automatically if the survivor is ever within 12 meters of the killer for 6 continuous seconds, or if they lose a health state as a result of the killer's basic attack or special attack.
Hex: Primeval Domain: Trespassers will find no respite here, as twisting fog and branch close in, choking the light from their eyes. The power of this Hex becomes apparent in the first 10 seconds of a match. All survivors become cursed at this time, and their render distance is limited to 52 meters; everything beyond this is darkness. Cursed survivors cannot see the auras of anything beyond 52 meters.
A survivor attempting to cleanse a Hex Totem, including this one, has their render distance reduced even further; darkness swallows everything beyond 12 meters of them. Once Primeval Domain is cleansed, the effect gradually abates over the course of 5 seconds until all survivors can see their proper distance.
You Can't Be Real: The shock of your sudden appearance can make even the most jaded survivors question what they're seeing. This perk gains charges over time; it gains 1 charge/second while you are not in chase, and 3 c/second if you are undetectable and not in chase. Upon reaching 100 charges, it fully activates; the next time a survivor sees you and you are not undetectable, they scream, and are highlighted by Killer Instinct for 5 seconds. Then, this perk loses all charges.

2024.05.19 02:03 Paaaauw Is getting back to the former round possible?

Hi guys,
I am at level 737 in endless mode. In round 736, i caught a suicune. When the catch animation ended, the game jumped automatically forward, without me even being able to react fast enough and released my strongest boy into the wild, while replacing it with suicune..(probably A-button was stuck somehow, even on the phone..) i honestly lost motivation since the run really took long and i had to drag the car out of the mud a few times...
Is there any chance, to get back to round 736 (i'm in 737 atm and not playing further. If there is no chance, i delete the save, in honor of my fallen comrad) I am asking this, as i had a few rounds setback already once, but no clue how that was possible... Maybe someone knows, how to trigger that intentionally?
Thanks already guys for any answers!

2024.05.19 01:23 VonBagel Killer Concept: The Cryptid

Killer Concept: The Cryptid

Art source here!
I've had this thing tumbling around in my brain for a while, but never knew how I wanted to implement it. I thought for days on what I wanted to do, whether I wanted to go the route of having Bigfoot be some mystical nature wizard druid thing, or play into the stealth aspect. Eventually, after seeing a thread on the main DBD sub just this morning about what mythological or folkloric monsters people would want to see in DBD, I decided to go for stealth, which the real-life Bigfoot is most famous for.

2024.05.19 01:05 hoggersbridge Engines of Arachnea: The Bug Planet (Chapter 23: Fishing)

Link for all the chapters available here: Engines of Arachnea on Royal Road
With the coming of morning Rene found the earth enwreathed in a grey and sinuous fog that was so thick he felt like he was standing on the shores of an ocean of sky. Only the lapping edges of the wide pond he had located was visible beneath rolling tails of mist. He couldn’t even tell where the heavens ended and the water began—they had all joined together at the waist in one vague mass. It all had filthy, sooty smell to it too, like the inside of a baker’s oven. As through a clouded window pane he saw a red and malevolent haze glowing on faraway slopes to the southeast. Zildiz noted his bewilderment and taunted him:
“Don’t you recognized your own handiwork when you see it? An entire biome went up in smoke because of the Engine’s rampage. Not that I mind—all this is Leaper territory after all.”
“Cry me a river,” Rene scowled, dipping his boots into pond and wading into it. It was only knee height at the deepest point. What’s more, he could see the blurred outlines of small darting shapes below the surface that he hoped were fish.
He made Zildiz sit with her back against a sapling and bound her to it with the spool of webbing he’d collected.
“Don’t get any ideas,” he told her. He slipped off his boots and raggedy socks, rolling up the jumpsuit around his calves and getting back into the water.
At first he tried to get at the fishes with his bare hands. It would be just as easy as catching the milky cave species they raise in the aquaculture ponds back in Ulysses, he thought. All one had to do was slip one’s hand in with glacial patience so as not to disturb them, dipping the palm right under their bellies. Rene had gotten so good at it as a boy that he could even tickle them right in the gills and under the chin. But he soon discovered that the fish on the surface world were nothing like their subterranean cousins. For one thing, they weren’t blind, or stupid. The little rascals fled when he floundered after them, feet slipping on the mossy stones that covered the pond bed. Zildiz looked on with interest as the single worst attempt at hunting she had ever had the misfortune to witness began. This Rene-creature was as clumsy as it was slow-witted, splashing around in fruitless pursuit of its feeble prey. How had these animals ever managed to conquer the stars? Zildiz watched as Rene stubbed his toes on a sharp rock and howled, falling arse-backwards and losing his visor in the process. He then painstakingly dredged the pond bottom for it, turning it up some time later all covered in water lilies and mud. Rene angrily slung his backpack back on and cleared the gunk out of his mask before fitting it back on his face, only to begin yelling as a river crab he’d left inside tried to crawl up his nose. He tore the mask off again and doused it in the pond, finally ridding himself of the curious crustacean.
“Phew!” he sighed with relief.
“Toss it in again,” Zildiz suggested gaily, “At least that way you might catch another.”
“Shut up,” Rene glowered, face going purple with rage. He grabbed the biggest stick of driftwood he could find and began beating the surface of the water as if it owed him money.
Zildiz hid a smile at that. She was famished and events had definitely taken a turn for the worse, but at least someone else was suffering more than she was.
And while this halfwit is preoccupied, Zildiz schemed, I’ll go ahead and signal the god for help. She activated the magnetosynaptic organ behind her inner ear and tried all the usual frequencies.
Nothing but static. Either her organ had been knocked out of commission with the loss of her exomorph’s functions, or the heavy smog caused by the wildfire was getting in the way of reception.
But more than this, a greater part of the Vitalus would be preoccupied with containing the damage to its work. As a shared consciousness It had unimaginable processing power, yet It tended to deal with the world in a holistic fashion, neglecting the individual elements. This did not mean that the god could not be effectively omniscient—It merely had a wholly different perspective and hierarchy of priorities than did Its mortal servants.
For problems on the micro scale, it did however deploy Hollowores or other Inkarnids. Zildiz wasn’t vain enough to think it would send such an avatar of creation and destruction just to retrieve one lone Gallivant. No help would be forthcoming for a while. No matter; she was certain that she could outsmart the Fleet-man soon enough.
Then something happened which drastically altered her perception of him and his kind. Rene grabbed another stick and banged the two pieces together, frowning with concentration. Without a word he returned to the survival kit and combined them with the spool of webbing, twisting them together into the silk and rotating them to create something that was greater than the sum of its parts.
Grinning evilly, the Fleet man took the two sticks and the webbing strung between them and gently lowered them into the pond. He then waited, tongue sticking out the corner of his mouth as a fish approached him. When it refused to come any closer, he took one of the white cubes and crumbled it into pieces, which he sprinkled liberally into the water right above his new tool. Eventually the fish took the bait and swam in for a nibble. In a flash Rene pulled up the net and held up a wriggling, pinknosed carp with an ecstatic cry of victory. Chuckling at his own cleverness, Rene hauled his catch to the bank and dashed its brains out on the rocks. He then repeated the process until he caught three more carp with the exact same method. He gutted and descaled the carp with his clasp knife in a trice.
Zildiz was seeing the boundless cunning of these creatures firsthand. It bothered her more than she cared to admit. Granted, if her exomorph was up and running she could’ve killed him in a heartbeat, humming sword or not. But the rate at which he had adapted to his surroundings was concerning.
For comparison, say a Gallivant wished to specialize in the catching of fish. It would have had to ask the Vitalus to edit its gilt helix so that its exomorph could accept the grafting of an appendage designed solely to catch fish. This was assuming the Vitalus had calculated that the addition of this new capability would not lead to the eventual collapse of the riverine ecosystem in the next ten or twenty generations, or that the Gallivant in question could be entrusted with such a responsibility, assuming that its lineage’s previous contributions to the Great Game rendered it worthy of the sudden advantage.
Meanwhile, Rene had developed the net tool in less than the span of an hour, with absolutely zero regard for the consequences of his actions. Zildiz could only imagine what an entire nation of Renes could do if they were given time to multiply beyond Arachnea’s carrying capacity. Clearly this Fleet was a threat not to be taken lightly.
Rene finished cleaning the fish and skewered them on sharp sticks. He then found some pebbles and started banging them together to produce sparks above a pile of bark scrapings and twigs, careful placing one of the brown lumps from the kit inside. It was just as successful as his first attempts at fishing; he smacked the rocks together until he bruised his fingers, then hurled them cursing into the fog.
“Sonofa…” he swore, squatting next to Zildiz and looking at the raw fish dejectedly.
“What, you can manage all that but can’t get a fire going?” she asked, nodding at the blaze in the distance. Rene made no reply, too busy sucking on his thumb. Suddenly he unsheathed the sword and Zildiz nearly panicked, thinking that she had finally annoyed him to the point of violence. Instead, Rene picked up a chunk of quartz crystal off the ground and cut it in half, producing a shower of sparks as the edge met the mineral. Rene piled the fuel again and repeated the trick with the sword and the stone until the tinder caught and tiny streamers of smoke wafted up. Cupping his hands around the precious heart of flame, Rene blew on it lovingly and smiled as it grew into a merry, crackling cookfire.
Making sure to give Zildiz a smug look, Rene sat cross-legged next to it and began to barbeque his meal. Zildiz had built fires herself during the cold monsoon seasons as a special allowance granted by the Vitalus for extreme weather fluctuations, but those had been for warmth, not to burn food with.
The smell of the browning fish skin flooded Rene’s mouth with spit. He saw Zildiz licking her chops unconsciously, said:
“Don’t worry. You’ll get yours.”
Sure enough he held out first batch of carp for her to eat, blowing on it to cool it. Zildiz even forgot her hostility for a moment as she seized the fish with her jaws.
“I can feed myself, you know,” she told him between crunchy mouthfuls of bone and white flesh. It was delicious! An explosion of flavors that was at once both salty and slightly burnt, the meat firm yet succulent. Swallowing greedily, she pulled the fish off its stick and ate it whole, the fish’s head crackling under her molars. Rene watched her choke the thing down with a mix of amazement and alarm, then replied:
“I would consider giving you an arm free to eat with, but you’re a walking arsenal, lady. Is it good, though? My cooking?”
“Passable,” Zildiz lied with a shrug of her shoulders. Her affected disdain did not stop her from giving the rest of the carp a longing look. Rene knew she was hungry and tore the next fish in half, gorging himself and giving Zildiz the rest. Very soon all that was left of their breakfast was a pile of bones and scales that Rene kicked back into the pond. He sat back and propped his bare feet next to the fire to dry his toes.
“Uuurrpp!” Zildiz belched appreciatively.
“Bless you,” Rene commented, and settled down for a nap. He could only rest his eyes for a moment, as the woman would slit his throat as soon as he let his guard down. But the fatigue of the constant marching and fighting amassed on the edges of his consciousness. Slowly but surely, he was pulled down into the untroubled realm of sleep, free from the cares of his existence.

Hey Community,
i thought it makes sense to go directly back to you, as me (32) and my beste Friend (35) are stuck in Snowrunner and we suffer aaaa loooot in this game. We really rage quitted today.
So we are up for a new game and wanted to ask for some feedback. What do you like about ETS2 and is it that intuitive as it looks like? We really love to drive trucks and are sick of mud holes, snow or stones on the way.
Happy to hear from you 🚛

Ancient Anglo-Saxans used to build pit houses in new areas that they'd settle. These pit houses were archeologically invisible, made from materials that would decay rapidly far in the future, such as above-surface thatch, wattle, and daub. Initially, the Anglo-Saxan residents would build and use the pit-houses as dwellings, but as the region became more settled and more permanent and more stable structures could be built with extra hands and time, these pit houses would become places for storage.
I wish the game would expand a bit on the super early bushcraft structures, as being able to make proper wattle walls that can be later filled with mud and grass daub would be awesome, having a texture or model that visibly shows the daub filled with sticks of hay and grass. For now, this is the best I've found I can do (in survival). I'm quite proud of it, but I'm sure there is much that can be improved. Feel free to provide feedback!
(Note: I did cheat in a chisel and hammer momentarily to achieve the muddy-slope at the entrance, because it just didn't look right without it. Being able to form and mold dirt with the free hands would be an amazing feature in the future. Maybe require water and have to dry it? I'd love that)

2024.05.19 00:05 DarkAngelCat1215 Anyone Remember .dimension mud?

Back in the early 2000's, there was this absolutely amazing mud simply known as .dimension. It was in some ways a Diablo-esque mud in which you chose the keywords to take you to various dungeons, explored the dungeons, found loot of different types with different prefixes and suffixes, and battled against mobs including bosses. The game has been gone for several years, and I've never found another playing experience like it. Does anyone besides me remember this, or did I dream it into existance? I think I would love to revisit that place and play it again though I'm not sure whatever happened to the developer. Just feeling nostalgic today.

2024.05.18 20:53 SophistsLament Chunks

I recently started listening to Isaiah and Hunter on Creepcast and have been following Wendigoon’s cryptid iceberg on YouTube for a while. Thier perspectives on the strange and unnatural are a valued escape from a reality that can seem, at times, monotonous.
While listening to the podcast I was reminded of one of my own encounters with the unexplained. My story is brief, and much of the details have been lost to the fog of a nearly thirty-year-old memory, but the finer points are crystal clear and should compensate for what is lacking elsewhere. I know much of the content they cover may involve creative liberties or outright fabrications, but I must iterate that everything that follows is an honest account of actual events. This is not just a fan’s foray into creepypasta fiction; the absence of the outlandish should lend to that. Still, there are only two people who can corroborate my tale and one of them would surely not. I was born and raised in South Louisiana. When I was five my family moved to Baker, a small town just north of Baton Rouge. We lived in a modest house in a modest neighborhood, and, in retrospect, it was an idyllic place to grow up. Part of the reason it was great was the company. Our next-door neighbors had a daughter just a little younger than I, and it did not take long for us to become inseparable. Samantha and I spent most of our free time together. We would play hide-and-seek, jump on the trampoline, swim, and play with Legos. One of our favorite games was pretending we were the dejected indentured servants of a brutal taskmaster known only as “Bossy.” We were “Bubbies,” and our mission was escape. At some point, around age seven, I convinced my dad to build us a treehouse in the woods behind our house. It was a simple platform about eight feet high suspended between four trees with guard rails that lasted about a week before we decided we didn’t need them. The treehouse became our canvas. We perfected our fort for years with makeshift buttresses, chicken wire, salvaged wood and tin. It was truly apocalyptic. Naturally, the woods became our home, and the treehouse was our base of operations. I’m not sure how old we were then, I’d estimate between eight and ten, but one nondescript evening we ventured into the woods on some exploratory mission as we had countless times before. We set out some hundred-odd yards northeast of the treehouse. “Northeast” insofar as my young mind could reason what direction was in those woods. We came upon a bog that we referred to as “the gulley.” The gulley was occasionally awash with rainwater and would sometimes dry to a mushy clay. That day it was clay. I don’t know who saw it first, but we discovered a wooden cross on the bank of the gulley. It made no sense. We had been there before and had never seen a grave, but the wood of the cross was decayed at the edges as if it had been there for years. There was a date scrawled in black ink on the lateral beam, but I only remember “October.” Of course, this presented us with a unique opportunity. What adventurous child when met with the prospect of buried remains would choose to do anything other than exhume them? We ran back to my house to grab a shovel from my dad’s shed. I excitedly began digging about a foot in front of the cross when we made it back. The ground was soft and did not offer much resistance. I can’t recall how far I had to dig before hitting pay dirt, but I distinctly remember the sound when I did. It was the sharp “clink” of breaking glass muted by the surrounding clay.
We carefully unearthed the object that had broken. It was one of a collection of buried mason jars. The jars themselves were unremarkable, the type anyone’s grandmother would have stored in a pantry filled with pickled okra or peach preserves. What they contained, however, was both gruesome and horrifying.
We could only describe them as “chunks of meat.” The pale, roughly inch-and-a-half thick fleshy meat bits were floating in a red, semi-translucent liquid. The squishy pieces of diced remains elicited shocked and disgusted reactions from both of us, though I cannot remember what exactly was said. I’m sure it was some variation of “Bruh!” “Gross!” or “What is that!?”
It may have been nerves, but it did not take long for us to decide to abandon our excavation and conceal our discovery. I could not refrain from one final bit of mischief, however. We stole the cross as a souvenir. We kept it hidden behind a pile of junk at the rear of my house. The last I saw of it was some weeks later when my dad had stuffed it in a bin with the rest of the trash. I didn’t say anything.
At some point prior Samantha and I had resolved to tell no one about the jars. We naively feared we would be punished for digging up a grave, though it now seems obvious that would not have been the main concern.
I mentioned that there were two people who could corroborate this story. The first was, of course, Samantha. The second I had not yet met and would not meet for what seemed many months later, but time moves slowly when you are young. It could have been only weeks.
It was some time in the afternoon on a typically warm and humid Louisiana day and I had embarked once more into the woods for reasons I cannot recall. Perhaps the shade drew me in. Samantha must not have been home because she would likely have accompanied me otherwise.
I was never bothered to be alone in the woods. I knew the trails well and was confident in that knowledge. It had been years since I had gotten lost in them. The woods were comfortable to me (even after our discovery.) The only time I really felt fear out there was when I nearly stepped on a snake… and this day.
I can’t place exactly where I was when I saw him, and I can’t honestly attribute menace to his demeanor. The memory is too far gone. But I remember he was wearing camouflage from the neck down. I didn’t see a weapon. He was average height and build for a man who I would estimate was in his early to mid-thirties. The only other notable feature was his distinct, medium-length red beard.
We noticed each other at the same moment, but he spoke first. He said something like this; “Hey, have you seen a wooden cross around here? I buried my dog in these woods.” I can’t help but wonder if the dread on my face was apparent. I’ve never been adept at lying, but I knew in that instance that I had better be convincing. “No. I haven’t seen anything” was my reply. I suppose he took me at my word, because the exchange ended shortly after. I walked until I was out of his line-of-sight, then ran. I ran the whole way home.
I read somewhere once that every time you remember an event from your life the memory is tainted by the thoughts and feelings you had at the time you remembered them. This can happen so often that the memory itself becomes unreliable, like the final phrase at the end of a game of telephone. The idea that what we saw may have been misinterpreted has crossed my mind, but I still cannot conjure a satisfying explanation for those events. The most frustrating thing is that we will probably never know.
Samantha and her family moved away a few years later. Me and mine moved not long after. We tried to keep in touch, but distance is a cruel mistress. We have since moved on, gotten married and pursued our careers, but every once in a while, we both remember the meat chunks.

This guy needs a ban
So this person comes into the chat and randomly likes to sling mud at people for no reason I think he needs a ban and even though I have put in countless tickets I’m being ignored by the people in charge who can do something about this. Can we just get his device banned or something from the game so he can’t play. It’s not like he’s contributing to the game or community in a positive way.

2024.05.18 20:08 SG_Fuzz Dealing with Pascal Siakam in Game 7

With him cooking in Game 6 and Hart very clearly hurt, how should we deal with him in Game 7?
One thought I had was maybe having Jericho Sims go balls-out defending him until he fouls out. That and rim protection being his sole focus in the game. This may buy us some time to get our shit together on offense, where it looks like we’re stuck in the mud on each possession.
Thoughts?
