Minimized game in top left corner and no audio. Need some pointers

2024.04.27 00:38 These-Ad-9875 Minimized game in top left corner and no audio. Need some pointers

So the first problem i had was my game wouldn’t save after the newest update, played an hour twice, saved over a previous save and when i go back to load, the newest save isn’t there. So then i watched this video:
https://youtu.be/cSu6ZmkP-3Q?si=Dn-am2nW7pYIxnY7
So after i unblocked fallout 4 from the antivirus (Mine is windows defender not bitdefender ) Now my game is only a quarter on my screen and has no audio. What could i do ? Anyone else get themselves into this mess too?

2024.01.14 21:47 Darth1311 PC - PS4 cross-play

Hi guys, Do any of you play together on PC (Steam) and PS4? I cannot connect with my buddy, we keep losing connection at the end of synchronization when me or him join server. Did any of you had similar issue and managed to solve it? Do I have to unblock some ports? I am using Bitdefender as antivirus, but I have already tried to disable firewall etc. Any help would be appreciated :)

2023.12.20 20:41 aegrotatio BitDefender Firewall has suddenly started to block RDP (port 3389)

Has anyone else noticed this? Why now after all these years? These are Windows 10 and Windows 11 Professional machines that I'm seeing this on all of a sudden.
BitDefender says the only solution is to turn off BitDefender Firewall and let Windows Defender Firewall take over because they don't support unblocking ports for "Home Users."

2023.06.15 02:22 MarrkDaviid Netgear Orbi Armor constantly re-blocking URL after unblocked

Hi,
I recently purchased this Netgear Orbi in Australia: Netgear AX5400 Orbi Tri-band WiFi 6 Mesh System - 2-Pack RBK762S
It included a 1 year subscription to Netgear Armor and the issue I am having is that a particular URL is immediately re-blocked after I unblock it. This behaviour is the same regardless of what device on the network is trying to access the URL (Macbook Air, custom gaming PC, iPhone).
I have put the URL into Virus Total and only BitDefender has an issue with this URL for the reason of multiple redirects - I have submitted it to them to look into using this form: Incorrect Detection: Report a false positive or false negative to Bitdefender . The real issue is why is unblocking a URL from the mobile app not actually unblocking it?
Router Firmware Version: V6.3.6.4_1.2.68 Orbi app version on iOS: 2.27.0.77
I also cannot see an obvious way of accessing Netgear Armor in the web interface, only in the app?
The below image shows the unblock screen on mobile (left) and the screen I see when accessing the URL (right). It is frustrating that there is also no sort of 'Proceed anyhow' option - I believe that my previous Asus router had this option.
https://imgur.com/a/IjS2Cef
Has anyone come across this issue before/does anyone have any suggestions?

2023.02.07 15:41 702PoGoHunter Is irobot offline?

Solved!
For anyone who has a Netgear router that comes with the Armor AI security "powered by Bitdefender" watch out! It has the ability to at will BLOCK a device based on what it thinks is harmful or suspicious activity. Even though things have been fine for over a year it has decided to block my Roomba and several other devices on my network including my Echo (Amazon) and several smart bulbs. If you have something similar check your router first! It's easy to unblock but aside from disabling security all together I'm not seeing a way to white list devices.
This morning my i8 ran it's normal routine but after docking is having issues connecting in the app. Keeps telling me to reboot. I've done it 3 times now and nothing. I've reset my home network and made sure everything is good.
Is anyone else having similar issues? Is it a serveapp issue or do i need to call tech support?
Also battery is charging as after reboot it shows the ring indicator flashing. Contacts are clean on both robot and base.
Edit: Spelling, new phone and I'm all thumbs apparently!

2023.01.16 15:12 conceptsweb SentinelOne, on top of BD?

We currently have Bitdefender EDATP setup for all of our customers with some device control enabled.
We had Threatlocker but it became such a PITA as it would never "futureproof" itself (apps kept being blocked even tho we unblocked them.)
We're now looking at different solutions and are wondering what most of you use? I am currently trying SentinelOne but it doesn't seem to do app control. So what does it do?
And finally, what would you use to have security without spending hours of management in it?

OK new laptop and I am trying to install Crystal Reports. I a m getting this error:
Fatal error. At least one port in the range of 4520-4539 must be open for installation to proceed. Please insure that no application or firewall is blocking this range.
I use Bitdefender Total Security, and I'm sure this is the issue, but I cannot even find on google how to unblock ports. All I can find is allowing an app to run or not.
Any ideas? Windows 10 Pro if it matters.

2021.08.21 10:07 BinaryPirate Unblockit at it again....

Anti virus companies blacklisting unblockit.ch, the github addy works but even then the sites wont get past the cloudflare junk and gets stuck in a loop.
This is solely on unblockit..and their new BS protection...every site i can't reach via unblockit I can google and reach the real site directly.......lol
Kinda of negates to whole point of a unblock it site....
see here:
https://www.reddit.com/Unblockit/comments/olw4vs/bestseries_site/
EDIT:
Bitdefender is blocking unblockit.ch and all links from the github site are being blocked if you try to go to them from the unblockit site. If I go directly to say primewire everything is fine so it's really unblockit that is having an issue with anti virus protections.
This makes it a unblockit problem IMO. AVG wont let you go there period and tells you the unblockit site is blacklisted.
Bitdefender wouldn't let me go to the site either.

Anti virus companies blacklisting unblockit.ch:
AVG
AVAST
Bitdefender

2021.08.09 00:27 RuinAllTheThings Advanced Threat Protection Over-Paranoia/Can't Exempt

So I play FF XIV, specifically using an open-source fan-made launcher, which BitDefender believes is just jam-packed with malware. It isn't. It never has been. It's blocked, I attempt to unblock it, but I can't specify a file because there are multiple files at play.
Hilariously, I can't even see the AppData folder, while Windows Explorer already shows hidden files and folders. ATD, apparently, because it assumes users are complete morons, won't let you exempt a FOLDER.
Why? If a group of files that may be downloaded and updated on demand, why on earth would you not be able to specify a target folder as an exemption? Because it leaves me with the singular option of: find a different solution that doesn't involve Bitdefender, which is looking more and more and more and more and more and more attractive every single time I have to try and deal with it (solution found: disable ATD, defeating the entire point of its existence).
Either assume customers aren't all complete idiots and can specify folders to exempt or give the user the ability to, as a file is blocked, right-click and exempt it, rather than just straight-up killing the process. This shouldn't be this much trouble, some really, really basic stuff (like right-clicking) would go quite far.
This is backward.

2020.10.23 10:20 jester-count VPN that allows Discord access

Hello all, I am unsure where to ask about this so I thought I'd try here. I am training as a teacher abroad and living in a dorm supplied by the school. I have to use the school wifi which of course subjects me to the same restrictions as the students. I am looking for a VPN or even simply a proxy server that will bypass Fortinet so I can run Discord. Here is what I have used so far:
-Bitdefender VPN -NordVPN -AirVPN -OpenVPN -Shadowsocks proxy (i had the most luck with this, it worked for a while but then stopped)
Where applicable, I also tried running though port 443, and with AirVPN i tried running a stunnel (???) but it did not seem to change amything. I am only slightly more tech literate so if there is anything I missed with the options I already tried I would be open to going back to those.
Discord is the only means of communication I have with many friends from back home and I am already having a very difficult time adjusting without anyone to talk to. I would ask the administration to unblock it but that is not really possible since this restriction is applied through the entire school district. If there is anyone who can help me resolve this problem I would be extremely grateful.

2020.05.21 21:40 Blue_Togepi Installation issue: IOS_FS: Failed to write new FST

I have just downloaded 5.0-11991 today, and when I open the Dolphin.exe file I got the said error message. Error keeps popping up if I press OK or close it.
I found someone being in the same situation as mine: https://gbatemp.net/threads/ios_fs-failed-to-write-new-fst.562881/ and the solution was to change "windows defender parameters in 'Controlled folder access' ". So I lookup Windows Defender and it says that it is turned off, I then realized that I should unblock it with my antivirus (I use Bitdefender). But then, even though I already gave it permission to access protected folders, the error just keeps popping up like the same. I don't really know if I need to grant it additional access anywhere else.
I'm using Windows 7 SP1 (the minimalest specs) Future thanks for any help.

2020.04.15 00:40 PracticeSophrosyne Bitdefender detected a storage.googleapis.com connection as malicious - originated from Chrome?

This morning when I booted my Win 10 machine and opened Chrome, I got several notifications from Bitdefender saying that the same Web Threat has been blocked several times in the space of a minute.
I did some digging and found that the Infected Web Resource blocked was from storage.googleapis.com (http://storage.googleapis.com/update-delta/mimojjlkmoijpicakmndhoigimigcmbb/32.0.0.363/32.0.0.344/2508f55c6dcbf6f5492cc5476d08a68736d38f06c1028373d2dec53264604d3a.crxd).
The 32.0.0.363/32.0.0.344 sections of that URL lead me to think it's related to the most recent Flash Player update (32.0.0.363) released in the past 24 hours, which I can see in Chrome under chrome://components/
If I'm understanding my Windows Event Viewer correctly (screenshot), it appears that Chrome had something to do with this Antivirus detection?
Any thoughts on this? Do I have a malware infection, or is this a false positive with Chrome attempting to update Flash Player from storage.googleapis.com?
Update: I found a similar URL in event viewer after the events that failed (I assumed due to Bitdefender's blocking of the connection) with the following URL: http://redirector.gvt1.com/edgedl/release2/chrome_component/AJQEmgfDY1m49oUulh5SKls_32.0.0.363/EPmhipcnuv-HlKHxpCbBaw This contains the same 32.0.0.363 number, and I can see in chrome://components/ that Flash Player is showing this same version number now. I can also see a bunch of events under BITS-Client in Event Viewer with redirector.gvt1.com or storage.googleapis.com addresses with text matching the current version numbers of items in chrome://components/
Am I overthinking this, and this is all part of Chrome's legitimate component update process, with the Bitdefender detection being a false positive?

UPDATE
Hey folks, so my Bitdefender updated itself at 11.53am NZ time this morning (20 mins ago).
Earlier in the day when I took the URL that Bitdefender was blocked and entered it into Chrome directly, the page was blocked by Bitdefender. I also tried it with one of the links another user had submitted in the comments, and the web page was also blocked by Bitdefender.
Since the 11.53am Bitdefender update this morning however, I can open the links I mentioned above in Chrome with no issue.
Does this mean it was a false positive?

UPDATE 17 April
A couple of days ago I submitted the URL that had popped up as blocked for me (storage.googleapis.com (http://storage.googleapis.com/update-delta/mimojjlkmoijpicakmndhoigimigcmbb/32.0.0.363/32.0.0.344/2508f55c6dcbf6f5492cc5476d08a68736d38f06c1028373d2dec53264604d3a.crxd) to Bitdefender as a possible false-positive. A per my above update, the link became unblocked (I could open it in my browser fine, although TBH I wouldn't recommend doing this for storage.googleapis.com links because you never know what's on the other end). Later that day I got the email from Bitdefender saying they'd checked out the link, it WAS a false positive, and they'd resolve it in an update.
I haven't had any issues since then.

2019.09.19 02:45 Doctor_Fog Skryim Special Edition Stuttering for No Apparent Reason

The problem in a nutshell: Skyrim SE stutters without dropping frames, and I have no idea what's causing it.
I've seen other people post similar issues, and I've tried troubleshooting this for about 3 days straight now to no avail. I have no mods installed, and I'm running standard ultra settings. My computer's specs should be overkill when it comes to this game, so I'm assuming it's either a problem with the game engine or some issue with Windows 10/DirectX12/Some other background application.
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K Coffee Lake (8-Core) Mobo: Z390 AORUS ULTRA LGA 1151 (300 Series) GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 (8GB) Memory: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2x8GB) 228-Pin DDR4 SDRAM PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 (Platinum, 850W) Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R Monitor: ASUS ROG Switft PG279Q 27" 165Hz 2560x1140 2K (w/ NVIDIA GSYNC) OS: Windows 10 Home (64 Bit)
As you can probably guess, this thing can run whatever the hell I want it to at max settings with the exception of some broken-ass games developed by people who don't know what they're doing (i.e. Minecraft needing like 64GB of RAM <3).
A few other things to note: - Skyrim SE and Steam are both installed outside of the programs folders, but they're on the same drive as Windows because I only have one drive as of right now. - I've tried messing around in .ini files to some extent. I've disabled VSync in game and enabled it in NVIDIA Control Panel - The Skyrim SE launcher WILL NOT recognize my GPU, and as such, defaults to the "low" settings, but when I check in the Skyrim.ini, it shows that it CAN see what GPU I'm using. This means that I don't have access to certain parts of the launcher config, like disabling Anisotropic Filtering. I'm guessing this is because Skyrim SE came out before the 2080 series. - I don't have any integrated graphics cards as far as I can tell, and have set both Skyrim SE and the launcher to default to NVIDIA through the graphics settings in the display settings under system settings. - I've updated the drivers and set the Skyrim SE settings through optimizing the game in GeForce Experience. This for some reason bumps the graphics up higher than my native monitor settings, but I've tried lowering it, and it doesn't really change anything. - I've disabled Windows 10's memory compression - I make sure to close out everything that's not strictly necessary before running the game. - I have BitDefender as my antivirus. I'm not sure that's relevant, but given how freaking overpowered it is, requiring me to unblock just about every damn application I install, I'm not going to discount it just yet.
Another thing: I could be totally wrong about this because I'm very new to the modding scene, but I believe the stuttering might be caused by cells loading. When I start a new game, I spaz the mouse around to test and see if the stuttering is still going on, and at first, everything seems fine. Once I reach a certain part on the cart ride though, I get a stutter, regardless of if I'm moving the mouse or not. These stutters don't drop any frames (somehow), and they're not microstutters (where you see a stutter but it doesn't slow the game down), they're macrostutters (where the game and input slows down for 1-2 seconds).
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I'm at my wit's end with this, and I'm on the verge of just giving up on Bethesda games until they hopefully fix their engine issues with TESVI. This is a major letdown for me, because part of the reason I built a gaming computer was so I could specifically play a modded version of Skyrim. Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. =(

2019.08.13 21:27 MoxxFulder GravityZone Whitelisting

Im working with Bitdefender GravityZone in an Enterprise environment. Trying to unblock some sites for users, one of note is a local restaurant that many of the execs frequent: perryssf.com
The site flags as fraud, but it's an issue with their cert. I've been told to let traffic through.
Im told that sites creating a false positive can be whitelisted in GravityZone, but despite my best efforts, sites are still blocked regardless. Bitdefender tells me that a site flagged as malware or fraud can only be unblocked by peer review at bitdefender.
I have tried Whitelisting a site in:
Content Control>Web>Settings>Exclusions
Content Control>Web>Exclusions

Again, Bitdefender told me that only their peer review can unblock a site. SO...doesnt this defeat the point of having an admin whitelisting feature int he product? Is this total BS, or have I missed a way to make this work on my own? Anyone else have this problem?

2019.02.08 03:36 Joshndroid [Q] Port forward 80 and 443 not allowing connection but appears 'open'

[Solved] - ISP needed to reset my connection on their end. All my rebooting and troubleshooting on my end was for nothing. Thanks for the help as this got me to my solution.

Hey all,
I am having some dramas with port forwarding.
I have been running some small web server stuff on a home pc, XMPP client (for family) and bitwarden (bitwarden only exposed for cert renewal, i use a vpn when not at home if necessary to sync).
I have the certificates generated by let's encrypt.
Its essentially time for renewal and i can't seem to get any connection through port 80 and port 443.
I have the web gui set to https and a different port. I have the webgui redirect port box checked.
I have the server routed through the wan, the ip address is correct, I have the NAT listed to port 80 and 443 to the correct internal IP.
I have used nmap from outside my network and can see that port 80 and 443 are open. I have also used nmap internally and it says that they are open.
I have tried to run the http challenge and get a fail saying its a firewall problem each time.
I have pfblocker running and also suricata - I can't see anything within the logs indicating that its blocking those connections.
It obviously worked when I set it up and don't think i have changed anything.
I have made sure that the ports are open within bitdefender and windows. I even removed bitdefender completely at this time thinking it was being overzealous (as it had been in the past).
i know my ISP was blocking port 80 and 443, I called them to ensure it was unblocked which they said they did. I am even on the phone again now to double check.
Are there any suggestions I can try?
Cheers

Edit - I have checked with an online nmap scanning utility and it listed the ports 80 and 443 as being 'filtered' and not explicitly 'open'
