I don't ever remember registering a device for Duo. I've contacted the IT help desk and I'm waiting for them to get back with me. What does this mean and how do I get passed it? I'm an accepted applicant btw trying to view financial aid.

The last MONTH or so I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the last time my bio-father actually supported me. (I call him my “father” instead of “dad” because he is NOT a dad. He is simply a father. My stepdad gets the dad role.) This was about this time back in 2020. I had just switched my style and music taste up from like Katy Perry, JoJo Siwa, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift; cupcakes and rainbows- to Johnnie Guilbert, Black Veil Brides, Andy Black, Jordan Sweeto, Shannon Taylor, and others like that. More dark of music and fashion taste (which I’m still into obviously). I was 11 (I’m 15 now btw). I was on social media, all of my accounts were private of course because I was in-fact only 11. I had selfies of me just learning how to do black eyeliner and wearing my first black lipstick on my Facebook. My aunt called up my father one day asking “what is up with the whole goth thing” in like not a supportive way. For the record it is/was emo, not goth (I’m a PopPunk Emo now, but still). My father answered with “Well, there’s not really much we can do about it. It’s not really hurting anything so there’s nothing we can do about it.” And that was the last time he actually supported me…
Since then, he’s told me things like “It’s good to have dreams but you gotta come back down to Earth because it’s never gonna happen!” Sure, my dreams are extreme, but with hard work and dedication it IS in-fact possible. He says I’ll never get my California custom mansion, my Lime-Green Lambo with the under-glow. Just tearing me down in general with other aspects. He doesn’t support how I’ve evolved since falling in love with dying my hair and falling in love with makeup. The mental/verbal abuse to my mom & I seems never ending. It’s over text too n stuff.
And that day back in 2020 was the last time my bio-father actually supported me. It like actually hurts. Being pushed aside and torn down for years on end has left behind a lot of stuff and changed my mind/brain for the worst. If it weren’t for my mom and grandma, I don’t know where I’d be in life or where I’d be headed. They’ve supported me since the beginning! I just can’t stop thinking about that day.. I'm considering moving on from a gamepad to a wheel on FS22 on xbox. I'm looking at the G923. One thing bugs me though. How do you guys solve the view axis? Like if I'm gonna back up a trailer or look from side to side to make sure I'm going where I'm supposed to.
You guys keep the mouse/controller next to the wheel just for the view axis, or have anyone come up with a good solution for this?

In the ’80s, the spy agency investigated the "Gateway Experience" technique to alter consciousness and ultimately escape spacetime.
The intrigue revolves around a classified 1983 CIA report on a technique called the Gateway Experience, which is a training system designed to focus brainwave output to alter consciousness and ultimately escape the restrictions of time and space.
The CIA was interested in all sorts of psychic research at the time, including the theory of applications of remote viewing, which is when someone views real events with only the power of their mind. The documents have since been declassified and are available to view.
This is a comprehensive excavation of The Gateway Process report. The first section provides a timeline of the key historical developments that led to the CIA’s investigation and subsequent experimentations. The second section is a review of The Gateway Process report. It opens with a wall of theoretical context, on the other side of which lies enough understanding to begin to grasp the principles underlying the Gateway Experience training. The last section outlines the Gateway technique itself and the steps that go into achieving spacetime transcendence.

THE TIMELINE
• 1950s - Robert Monroe, a radio broadcasting executive, begins producing evidence that specific sound patterns have identifiable effects on human capabilities. These include alertness, sleepiness, and expanded states of consciousness.
• 1956 - Monroe forms an R&D division inside his radio program production corporation RAM Enterprises. The goal is to study sound’s effect on human consciousness. He was obsessed with “Sleep-Learning," or hypnopedia, which exposes sleepers to sound recordings to boost memory of previously learned information.
• 1958 - While experimenting with Sleep-Learning, Monroe discovers an unusual phenomenon. He describes it as sensations of paralysis and vibration accompanied by bright light. It allegedly happens nine times over the proceeding six weeks, and culminates in an out-of-body experience (OBE).
• 1962 - RAM Enterprises moves to Virginia, and renames itself Monroe Industries. It becomes active in radio station ownership, cable television, and later in the production and sale of audio cassettes. These cassettes contain applied learnings from the corporate research program, which is renamed The Monroe Institute.
• 1971 - Monroe publishes Journeys Out of the Body, a book that is credited with popularizing the term “out-of-body experience.”
• 1972 - A classified report circulates in the U.S. military and intelligence communities. It claims that the Soviet Union is pouring money into research involving ESP and psychokinesis for espionage purposes.
• 1975 - Monroe registers the first of several patents concerning audio techniques designed to stimulate brain functions until the left and right hemispheres become synchronized. Monroe dubs the state "Hemi-Sync" (hemispheric synchronization), and claims it could be used to promote mental well-being or to trigger an altered state of consciousness.
• 1978 to 1984 - Army veteran Joseph McMoneagle contributes to 450 remote viewing missions under Project Stargate. He is known as “Remote View No. 1”.
• June 9th, 1983 - The CIA report "Analysis and Assessment of The Gateway Process" is produced. It provides a scientific framework for understanding and expanding human consciousness, out-of-body experiments, and other altered states of mind.
• 1989 - Remote viewer Angela Dellafiora Ford helps track down a former customs agent who has gone on the run. She pinpoints his location as “Lowell, Wyoming”. U.S. Customs apprehend him 100 miles west of a Wyoming town called Lovell.
• 2003 - The CIA approves declassification of the Gateway Process report.
• 2017 - The CIA declassifies 12 million pages of records revealing previously unknown details about the program, which would eventually become known as Project Stargate.
THE REPORT
Personnel
The author of The Gateway Process report is Lieutenant Colonel Wayne M. McDonnell, hereon referred to simply as Wayne. There isn’t a tremendous amount of information available on the man, nor any photographs. In 1983, Wayne was tasked by the Commander of the U.S. Army Operational Group with figuring out how The Gateway Experience, astral projection and out-of-body experiences work. Wayne partnered with a bunch of different folks to produce the report, most notably Itzhak Bentov, a very Googleable American-Israeli scientist who helped pioneer the biomedical engineering industry.
A scientific approach
From the outset of the report, Wayne states his intent to employ an objective scientific method in order to understand the Gateway process. The various scientific avenues he takes include:
• A biomedical inquiry to understand the physical aspects of the process.
• Information on quantum mechanics to describe the nature and functioning of human consciousness.
• Theoretical physics to explain the time-space dimension and means by which expanded human consciousness transcends it.
• Classical physics to bring the whole phenomenon of out-of-body states into the language of physical science (and remove the stigma of an occult connotation).
Methodological frames of reference
Before diving into the Gateway Experience, Wayne develops a frame of reference by dissecting three discrete consciousness-altering methodologies. He’s basically saying, there’s no way you’re going to get through The Gateway without a solid grounding in the brain-altering techniques that came before it.
1) He begins with hypnosis. The language is extremely dense, but the basic gist is as follows: the left side of the brain screens incoming stimuli, categorizing, assessing and assigning meaning to everything through self-cognitive, verbal, and linear reasoning. The left hemisphere then dishes the carefully prepared data to the non-critical, holistic, pattern-oriented right hemisphere, which accepts everything without question. Hypnosis works by putting the left side to sleep, or at least distracting it long enough to allow incoming data direct, unchallenged entry to the right hemisphere. There, stimuli can reach the sensor and motor cortices of the right brain, which corresponds to points in the body. Suggestions then can send electrical signals from the brain to certain parts of the body. Directing these signals appropriately, according to the report, can elicit reactions ranging from left leg numbness to feelings of happiness. Same goes for increased powers of concentration.
2) Wayne continues with a snapshot of transcendental meditation. He distinguishes it from hypnotism. Through concentration the subject draws energy up the spinal cord, resulting in acoustical waves that run through the cerebral ventricles, to the right hemisphere, where they stimulate the cerebral cortex, run along the homunculus and then to the body. The waves are the altered rhythm of heart sounds, which create sympathetic vibrations in the walls of the fluid-filled cavities of the brain’s ventricles. He observed that the symptoms begin in the left side of the body, confirming the right brain’s complicity. Bentov also states that the same effect might be achieved by prolonged exposure to 4 - 7 Hertz/second acoustical vibrations. He suggests standing by an air conditioning duct might also do the trick. (David’s Lynch and other celebrities are committed adherents to transcendental meditation today.)
3) Biofeedback, on the other hand, uses the left hemisphere to gain access to the right brain’s lower cerebral, motor, and sensory cortices. Whereas hypnosis suppresses one side of the brain, and TM bypasses that side altogether, biofeedback teaches the left hemisphere to visualize the desired result, recognize the feelings associated with right hemisphere access, and ultimately achieve the result again. With repetition, the left brain can reliably key into the right brain, and strengthen the pathways so that it can be accessed during a conscious demand mode. A digital thermometer is subsequently placed on a target part of the body. When its temperature increases, objective affirmation is recognized and the state is reinforced. Achieving biofeedback can block pain, enhance feeling, and even suppress tumors, according to the report.
The Gateway mechanics
With that, Wayne takes a first stab at the Gateway process. He classifies it as a “training system designed to bring enhanced strength, focus and coherence to the amplitude and frequency of brainwave output between the left and right hemispheres so as to alter consciousness.”
What distinguishes the Gateway process from hypnosis, TM, and biofeedback, is that it requires achieving a state of consciousness in which the electrical brain patterns of both hemispheres are equal in amplitude and frequency. This is called Hemi-Sync. Lamentably, and perhaps conveniently, we cannot as humans achieve this state on our own. The audio techniques developed by Bob Monroe and his Institute (which are comprised as a series of tapes). claim to induce and sustain Hemi-Sync.
Wayne employs the analogy of a lamp versus a laser. Left to its own devices the human mind expends energy like a lamp, in a chaotic and incoherent way, achieving lots of diffusion but relatively little depth. Under Hemi-Sync though, the mind produces a “disciplined stream of light.” So, once the frequency and amplitude of the brain are rendered coherent it can then synchronize with the rarified energy levels of the universe. With this connection intact, the brain begins to receive symbols and display astonishing flashes of holistic intuition.
The Hemi-Sync technique takes advantage of a Frequency Following Response (FFR). It works like this: an external frequency emulating a recognized one will cause the brain to mimic it. So if a subject hears a frequency at the Theta level, it will shift from its resting Beta level. To achieve these unnatural levels, Hemi-Sync puts a single frequency in the left ear and a contrasting frequency in the right. The brain then experiences the Delta frequency, also known as the beat frequency. It’s more familiarly referred to these days as binaural beats. With the FFR and beat frequency phenomena firmly in place, The Gateway Process introduces a series of frequencies at marginally audible, subliminal levels. With the left brain relaxed and the body in a virtual sleep state, the conditions are ideal to promote brainwave outputs of higher and higher amplitude and frequency. Alongside subliminal suggestions from Bob Monroe (naturally), the subject can then alter their consciousness.
The Gateway system only works when the audio, which is introduced through headphones, is accompanied by a physical quietude comparable to other forms of meditation. This increases the subject’s internal resonance to the body’s sound frequencies, for example the heart. This eliminates the “bifurcation echo”, in which the heartbeat moves up and down the body seven times a second. By placing the body in a sleep-like state, The Gateway CD’s, like meditation, lessen the force and frequency of the heartbeat pushing blood into the aorta. The result is a rhythmic sine wave that in turn amplifies the sound volume of the heart three times. This then amplifies the frequency of brainwave output. The film surrounding the brain—the dura—and fluid between that film and the skull, eventually begin to move up and down, by .0005 and .010 millimeters.
The body, based on its own micro-motions, then functions as a tuned vibrational system. The report claims that the entire body eventually transfers energy at between 6.8 and 7.5 Hertz, which matches Earth’s own energy (7 - 7.5 Hertz). The resulting wavelengths are long, about 40,000 kilometers, which also happens to be the perimeter of the planet. According to Bentov, the signal can move around the world’s electrostatic field in 1/7th of a second.
To recap, the Gateway Process goes like this:
• Induced state of calm
• Blood pressure lowers
• Circulatory system, skeleton and other organ systems begin to vibrate at 7 - 7.5 cycles per second
• Increased resonance is achieved
• The resulting sound waves matches the electrostatic field of the earth
• The body and earth and other similarly tuned minds become a single energy continuum.
We’ve gotten slightly ahead of ourselves here though. Back to the drawing board.
A psycho-quantum level deeper
Wayne then turns to the very nature of matter and energy. More materially (or less if you will), solid matter in the strict construction of the term, he explains, doesn’t exist. The atomic structure is composed of oscillating energy grids surrounded by other oscillating energy grids at tremendous speeds. These oscillation rates vary—the nucleus of an atom vibrates at 10 to the power of 22, a molecule vibrates at 10 to the power of 9, a human cell vibrates at 10 to the power of 3. The point is that the entire universe is one complex system of energy fields. States of matter in this conception then are merely variations in the state of energy.
The result of all these moving energies, bouncing off of energy at rest, projects a 3D mode, a pattern, called a hologram, A.K.A our reality as we experience it. It's best to think of it as a 3D photograph. There’s a whole rabbit hole to go down here. Suffice it to say, the hologram that is our experience is incredibly good at depicting and recording all the various energies bouncing around creating matter. So good, in fact, that we buy into it hook, line, and sinker, going so far as to call it our "life."
Consciousness then can be envisaged as a 3D grid system superimposed over all energy patterns, Wayne writes. Using mathematics, each plane of the grid system can then reduce the data to a 2D form. Our binary (go/no go) minds can then process the data and compare it to other historical data saved in our memory. Our reality is then formed by comparisons. The right hemisphere of the brain acts as the primary matrix or receptor for this holographic input. The left hemisphere then compares it to other data, reducing it to its 2D form.
In keeping with our species' commitment to exceptionalism, as far as we know humans are uniquely capable of achieving this level of consciousness. Simply, humans not only know, but we know that we know. This bestows upon us the ability to duplicate aspects of our own hologram, project them out, perceive that projection, run it through a comparison with our own memory of the hologram, measure the differences using 3D geometry, then run it through our binary system to yield verbal cognition of the self.
The click-out phase
Wayne then shows his cards as a true punisher, issuing, "Up to this point our discussion of the Gateway process has been relatively simple and easy to follow. Now the fun begins." Shots fired, Wayne. What he's preparing the commander reading this heady report for is the reveal—how we can use the Gateway to transcend the dimension of spacetime.
Time is a measurement of energy or force in motion; it is a measurement of change. This is really important. For energy to be classified as in motion, it must be confined within a vibratory pattern that can contain its motion, keeping it still. Energy not contained like this is boundary-less, and moves without limit or dimension, to infinity. This disqualifies boundary-less energy from the dimension of time because it has no rate of change. Energy in infinity, also called "the absolute state," is completely at rest because nothing is accelerating or decelerating it—again, no change. It therefore does not contribute to our hologram, our physical experience. We cannot perceive it.
Now back to frequencies. Wave oscillation occurs because a wave is bouncing between two rigid points of rest. It's like a game of electromagnetic hot potato (the potato being the wave and the participants' hands being the boundaries of the wave). Without these limits, there would be no oscillation. When a wave hits one of those points of rest, just for a very brief instant, it "clicks out" of spacetime and joins infinity. For this to occur, the speed of the oscillation has to drop below 10 the power of -33 centimeters per second. For a moment, the wave enters into a new world. The potato simply disappears into a dimension we cannot perceive.
Theoretically speaking, if the human consciousness wave pattern reaches a high enough frequency, the “click-outs” can reach continuity. Put another way, if the frequency of human consciousness can dip below 10 to the power of 33 centimeters per second but above a state of total rest, it can transcend spacetime. The Gateway experience and associated Hemi-Sync technique is designed for humans to achieve this state and establish a coherent pattern of perception in the newly realized dimensions.
Passport to the hologram
In theory, we can achieve the above at any time. The entire process though is helped along if we can separate the consciousness from our body. It’s like an existential running head start where the click-out of a consciousness already separated from its body starts much closer to, and has more time to dialogue with, other dimensions.
This is where things get a little slippery; hold on as best you can. The universe is in on the whole hologram thing, too, Wayne writes. This super hologram is called a "torus" because it takes the shape of a fuck-off massive self-contained spiral. Like this:

This pattern of the universe conspicuously mirrors the patterns of electrons around the nucleus of an atom. Galaxies north of our own are moving away from us faster than the galaxies to the south; galaxies to the east and west of us are more distant. The energy that produced the matter that makes up the universe we presently enjoy, will turn back in on itself eventually. Its trajectory is ovoid, also known as the cosmic egg. As it curls back on itself it enters a black hole, goes through a densely packed energy nucleus then gets spat out the other side of a white hole and begins the process again. Springtime in the cosmos, baby!
And that is the context in which the Gateway Experience sits.

THE TECHNIQUE
The following is an outline of the key steps to reach focus levels necessary to defy the spacetime dimension. This is an involved and lengthy process best attempted in controlled settings. If you’re in a rush, you can apparently listen to enough Monroe Institute Gateway Tapes in 7 days to get there.
The Energy Conversion Box: The Gateway Process begins by teaching the subject to isolate any extraneous concerns using a visualization process called “the energy conversion box.”
Resonant Humming: The individual is introduced to resonant humming. Through the utterance of a protracted single tone, alongside a chorus on the tapes, the mind and body achieve a state of resonance.
The Gateway Affirmation: The participant is exposed to something close to a mantra called The Gateway Affirmation. They must repeat to themselves variations of, “I am merely a physical body and deeply desire to expand my consciousness.”
Hemi-Sync: The individual is finally exposed to the Hemi-Sync sound frequencies, and encouraged to develop a relationship with the feelings that emerge.
Additional Noise: Physical relaxation techniques are practiced while the Hemi-Sync frequencies are expanded to include “pink and white” noise. This puts the body in a state of virtual sleep, while calming the left hemisphere and raising the attentiveness of the right hemisphere.
The Energy Balloon: The individual is then encouraged to visualize the creation of an “energy balloon” beginning at the top of the head, extending down in all directions to the feet then back up again. There are a few reasons for this, the main one being that this balloon will provide protection against conscious entities possessing lower energy levels that he or she may encounter when in the out-of-body state.
Focus 12: The practitioner can consistently achieve sufficient expanded awareness to begin interacting with dimensions beyond their physical reality. To achieve this state requires conscious efforts and more “pink and white noise” from the sound stream.
Tools: Once Focus 12 is achieved, the subject can then employ a series of tools to obtain feedback from alternate dimensions.
Problem Solving: The individual identifies fundamental problems, fills their expanded awareness with them, and then projects them out into the universe. These can include personal difficulties, as well as technical or practical problems.
Patterning: Consciousness is used to achieve desired objectives in the physical, emotional, or intellectual sphere.
Color Breathing: A healing technique that revitalizes the body’s energy flows by imagining colors in a particularly vivid manner.
Energy Bar Tool: This technique involves imagining a small intensely pulsating dot of light that the participant charges up. He or she then uses the sparkling, vibrating cylinder of energy (formerly known as the dot) to channel forces from the universe to heal and revitalize the body.
Remote Viewing: A follow-on technique of the Energy Bar Tool where the dot is turned into a whirling vortex through which the individual sends their imagination in search of illuminating insights.
Living Body Map: A more organized use of the energy bar in which streams of different colors flow from the dot on to correspondingly-colored bodily systems.
Seven days of training have now occurred. Approximately 5 percent of participants get to this next level, according to the report.
Focus 15 - Travel Into the Past: Additional sound on the Hemi-Sync tapes includes more of the same, plus some subliminal suggestions to further expand the consciousness. The instructions are highly symbolic: time is a huge wheel, in which different spokes give access to the participant’s past.
Focus 21 - The Future: This is the last and most advanced state. Like Focus 15, this is a movement out of spacetime into the future.
Out-of-Body Movement: Only one tape of the many is devoted to out-of-body movement. This tape is devoted to facilitating an out-of-body state when the participant’s brain wave patterns and energy levels reach harmony with the surrounding electromagnetic environment. According to Bob Monroe, the participant has to be exposed to Beta signals of around 2877.3 cycles per second.
CONCLUSIONS
Wayne expresses concern about the fidelity of information brought back from out-of-body states using the Gateway technique. Practical applications are of particular concern because of the potential for “information distortion.”
The Monroe Institute also ran into a bunch of issues in which they had individuals travel from the West to the East Coast of the U.S. to read a series of numbers off of a computer screen. They never got them exactly right. Wayne chalks this up to the trouble of differentiating between physical entities and extra-time-space dimensions when in the out-of-body state.
Wayne swings back to support mode though, lending credence to the physics foundation of the report. He cites multiple belief systems that have established identical findings. These include the Tibetan Shoug, the Hindu heaven of Indra, the Hebrew mystical philosophy, and the Christian concept of the Trinity. Here he seems more interested in hammering home the theoretical underpinnings that make The Gateway Experience possible, rather than the practical possibilities promised by The Gateway Tapes.
Possibly with his CIA top brass audience in mind, Wayne then gives an A-type nod to The Gateway Experience for providing a faster, more efficient, less subservient, energy-saving route to expanded consciousness. This finishes with a series of recommendations to the CIA for how to exploit Gateway’s potential for national defense purposes.
The missing page
One curious feature of The Gateway Report is that it seems to be missing page 25. It’s a real cliffhanger too. The bottom of page 24 reads “And, the eternal thought or concept of self which results from this self-consciousness serves the,” The report picks back up on page 26 and 3 sections later as if Wayne hadn’t just revealed the very secret of existence.
The gap has not gone unnoticed. There's a Change.org petition requesting its release. Multiple Freedom of Information Act requests have demanded the same. In all cases, the CIA has said they never had the page to begin with. Here’s a 2019 response from Mark Lilly, the CIA’s Information and Privacy Coordinator, to one Bailey Stoner regarding these records:
One theory goes that that rascal Wayne M.-fricking-McDonnell left the page out on purpose. The theory contends that it was a litmus test—if anyone truly defies time-space dimensions, they’ll certainly be able to locate page 25.

But should i have made a move anyway?
This is going to be kind of specific, and i'm pretty sure she browses reddit but here i go lol.
We met last year at a music festival. I feel like we really vibed and learned a lot about each other. Talked for hours about everything under the sun, until the sun came up. She travels and works remotely, is incredibly intelligent, and is a very loving and caring person. But also tough and independent, and not afraid to speak her mind. We have a lot of similar interests and views. She's hot af too ;)
She seems perfect in my eyes. I've never met another woman like her.
I started to make a move on her last year, but she said she has a boyfriend back home. Her home is on the opposite end of the US from me, which is a problem. But we still talk and have kept up with each other. Her boyfriend is mr. tall dark and handsome. I am not lol. I'm not unattractive, but lacking in the height department. About the exact same height as her though.
She met up with me and my crew at another festival just recently. Again, boyfriend not with her, apparently stayed home. We hung out throughout the festival and had a great time. Everything in my bones wanted to make a move and tell her how i feel, but i was trying to remain respectful and not run her off.
What messed me up, was i feel like she was throwing hints at me. Making comments, talking about her fits (like she wanted me to compliment them/tell her she looked good) and even talking about not wearing underwear at one point (we were talking about chafing in the heat at these festivals lol, so not out of context).
My heart is stuck on her, but my brain says it's not practical. She lives far away, is in a long term relationship, which seems rocky and not in a good place maybe, but still. Also, we both have some baggage and are pretty damaged individuals, and are probably dangerous for each other. But the heart wants what the heart wants. And i'm not stuck where i live, in fact i don't even like where i live at all and am ready to leave at a moment's notice. I think she's probably in the same boat.
Is it just a fantasy that will likely never happen or should i tell her how i feel? I feel like i'm maybe an idiot for not making a move. Maybe it's not too late.

Before I start off, this is my first post here and I know this may read like an edgy 12 year old’s diary, so I apologize in advance if it makes you cringe.
When I was younger, my older family members would always pick at me under the guise of it all being a joke. Due to the age difference, I was always seen as the one in the wrong, or just someone who over reacts at anything and everything that inconvenienced him.
From my parent’s accounts, I was never considered a “loud or disruptive child”, yet I was beat, yelled at, and made to look like an outlier when it came to me opposing certain beliefs / views that the rest of my family usually had.
After my parents eventually divorced (after many arguments), my father began to decline mentally, slipping into conspiracy theories that made him sound like a lunatic when you let him rant for more than 5 minutes. Oftentimes, he would talk to me for hours about his delusions whilst I sat unwillingly listening to them with discomfort, which would later lead to me being a paranoid person.
My mother is also manipulative, following the family tradition of being your average homophobic, unaccepting and judgmental religious nut.
My family is also very religious, using the bible to constantly scare me into doing what they wanted of me, and for a long time, it worked, I was afraid to burn in hell or suffer some grim eternity at the age of 9.
At around 7/8, I began to develop anxiety inducing existential thoughts that centered around Christianity, to the point where I felt like I was doomed, causing me to try and distract myself with media that I had available to me at the time. These thoughts would constantly leave and come back until I was about 15.
My only source of relief came when my Uncle used to visit the family home, unlike the other members of my family, he wasn’t too religious at the time and it felt like as if he was an older sibling, but, of course, that changed when he too started practicing the faith.
I apologize for making it seem like I hate Christians, I don’t, trust me, this is just my personal experience. And again, sorry if this sounds like some edgy rebellious post, it wasn’t my intention.

I have posted this story here multiple times and the moderation team has locked my thread multiple times. This is ridiculous. They are doing what they have always done: Suppress or ban anyone who they don't like. They are role-playing the super earth secret police, yet again.
The obvious reason is so that they can protect themselves from the truth. By locking my posts repeatedly, they are proving my point and making me more and more frustrated: They are one of the worst CM teams I have seen. I hope you will help me and fellow helldivers out by posting this where it can be seen if the moderators continue to try to protect themselves by locking my thread that tries to fully explain the PSN fiasco yet again. They will probably lock this thread ASAP, but maybe enough people will see this and understand what's going on.
Super Earth France Reporter here. The PSN fiasco has been one of the biggest events this year in all of gaming. Yet something very strange has been going on the entire time since the 3rd.
In the past three days, Arrowhead's CM (community manager) team has not only been contradictory with itself, but contradictory with their CEO's statements. At one point - a CM tells us that we should review bomb the game even harder.
From telling players to review bomb the game, once to tell players to piss off, the second time seriously, to conveniently leaving facts out, the CM have dragged AH from the 'F incident' through the PSN fiasco. If you have ever been confused by what is going on, here is the full story I have tried to put together (with difficulty).
It feels like at every step, every single person is saying something totally contradictory with what a different person is saying if we actually compare people's statements closely.
The CM team have only continued to damage their credibility, yet again, by misleading people and trying to cover up their mistakes during the PSN fiasco instead of trying to be honest. I need to ask everyone: What value do they even provide if this is the result?
This summary of events has been put together with insight from friends who discussed the recent AH issues at length with me, probably because I am the only one crazy enough to write this much. I hope you will enjoy reading this very long piece.

The PSN fiasco

This conversation followed an announcement signed by Playstation announcing PSN login integration. Most likely, the review bombing had not seriously started yet. Why would the CM change their Twitter and lock the post? It is probably in response to them discovering how angry people got about PSN integration.
At this point in time, everyone began trashing Sony, and many, myself included, said that this was a money-grabbing move for Sony to raise their stock value and Sony was clearly forcing this on AH.
But this CM said that Arrowhead wanted PSN linking and not Sony. Yet there's another post that was live JUST a day afterward that showed 'Spitz' saying what sounds like the frigging opposite. This is confusing at the least and the extent of how much this was AH's idea is still unclear. The first post likely happened before people started getting angry. The second post by Spitz likely occurred with the perspective of damage control.
Something is fishy.
One person says PSN allows them to ban people better. Later, Spitz said that the PSN change, steam announcement, and FAQ all come from Sony. I found this suspect. It seems to check out at first glance. The announcement from Sony on the 3rd can be seen here. Sure enough, it is signed by Sony. But this statement likely would have gone through both AH and Sony teams before being pushed out to Steam. It is unlikely that AH had no ability to coordinate with Sony on this statement. AH knew this was going to happen at some point 3 months ago, but maybe not exactly when.

Spitz roleplaying Super Earth propaganda ministry

Spitz' discord statements on discord are just damage control. But what's more, they are deliberately meant to mislead because they are so incredibly contradictory and leave out critical information.
This is the gist of what Spitz says: He tells us that internal discussions are ongoing about PSN linking and AH is trying to find alternative solutions. If AH can't find a better way, AH won't force players to link PSN. The steam announcement, FAQ, and PSN link is from Sony and not AH, (That's some bullshit. AH KNEW this was coming and AH had some say in it. You're leaving information out.) Spitz then apologizes for telling people to either make a PSN account or review bomb the game and piss off. (Not that it means anything, Spitz will probably just do it again in the future with that attitude) Spitz finally says we should continue to review bomb the game and gives them more pull in discussions with Sony. This is crazy. Developers asking players to review bomb the game further?
Let's take a look.
On the 3rd, Pilestedt is clearly aware and sad about the reviews. But Spitz tells us to keep the bombs coming, thanks for your help. We can make a better game this way. What?
At this point time, anger is aimed at Sony and Spitz does not reveal what they almost certainly always knew provides no clarity nor honesty to us, because the CEO revealed on the 5th that they knew for 6 months (9 months now) that they were going to do PSN integration.
Spitz simply leaves out this part and keeps on saying Sony Sony Sony. But Misty PROVES that they knew about EVERYTHING with the initial tweet on the 3rd that the CMs panicked and tried to hide. There is NO mention of this by Spitz!! Unless you are telling me something absolutely INSANE - that the CM team is SO disorganized that SOMEHOW, Misty has never talked to Spitz between the 3rd and 5th during a major crisis, there is CLEARLY something suspicious going on. Spitz says we are on the player's side. (Even though the CEO later reveals that through likely internal+PS discussions, they settled on PSN integration, probably to ban people better as Misty claims) Spitz says Sony did the announcement. (AH knew this was coming months ago) Oh, by the way, Sony, not us, made the FAQ, the Steam announcement and change. (Even though there's no way the AH team did not coordinate and talk to the Sony team)

In no way is Spitz helping us. On the 3rd, Misty had said the overwhelming number of people trying to link accounts for the first half hour of launch was what caused them to disable linking. You didn't know Asian helldivers couldn't do this...? You looked at attempted PSN links on launch day and didn't notice the problem in certain areas? Nothing is 'wrong', but this sounds very strange...
Spitz claims he didn't know some countries didn't have the ability to make the PSN account which screwed over our Asia Helldivers. This sounds strange. You are telling me that 6+ months ago, AH knew about PSN linkage but no person in AH or Sony knew that PSN accounts were not possible in many areas and NO ONE brought this up? This is not Sony's first time publishing a game. The CEO also claims this, and while yes it is plausible, it is just... suspicious. And the CEO says they were 'forced' to comply with PS and they KNEW there was going to be backlash. I am just going to stop speculating here and say three people are saying three different things. I feel like I am doing law school exam problems that are like: "Bob lied, but Nancy blames Ernest. John said Ernest tells the truth all the time."

And to address the craziest statement you will probably never see a developer call for ever again: You should review bomb the game. This is what really got me interested. I don't know what to make of this remark, but here is the best I can do:
If this game trained Helldivers to do something well, it's to collaborate on a major order.
At this point in time - people are absolutely just destroying the game on steam.
AH is watching their playerbase plummet, but there is a silver lining while this is going on - everyone is angry at Sony! And almost not at AH at all. Given how deceptive Spitz has been in leaving out just the right details, Spitz - is roleplaying the Super Earth Propaganda Minister (SEPM) by pushing all the blame onto Sony and keeping AH friendly with players. In conflict with this, Misty's statement on the 3rd would have made it seem like AH was the origin of the reason for PSN integration, which to this day, I'm still not certain how much of this was desired by AH.
If the players were all angry at AH, the game would be dead or have a far harder time recovering. We would no longer trust the developers. If the players directed their anger at Sony, players aren't really angry at the game and just want Sony to back down. AH can recover much more of its reputation and playerbase more easily. This is what AH would prefer if it had the choice between one or the other.
Why am I ultimately this suspicious of their CM team?

This is because this is a story about the Helldivers CMs who are roleplaying Super Earth Secret Police just a little bit too hard.

Every time they have only worsened AH's headaches with deceptive and rude treatment of their own community.
Going back, there is a trail of mess coming out of the discord and these community team that perfectly explains how they like to operate. Here is one of the most notable examples.

The F incident

If you haven't heard of the "F" incident, it began with people spamming the word "F" in their official server chat because the game went down. People were clearly just having fun bantering. To keep control, the moderation team actually PINGED the 100,000 members in the server, telling them to stop spamming "F" and threatening bans over spamming "F".
OBVIOUSLY THIS BACKFIRED. 100,000 people were pinged for the stupidest reason ever heard of, IMMEDIATELY more people started typing "F" in chat.
WELL regarding the bans, they weren't kidding. Summary here. So real quick, putting "F" in chat got you permabanned from the server. They don't even give a reason. You'll just find out that the server is gone from your server list. And no, you can't come back.
I think the moderator who did this and not the CM was kicked out for this. (might not be true) Well. Regardless this is just a case of idiots pulling in yet more idiots.
Frankly, I've never seen a server run more poorly and the way that their official discord is managed (not very well) only exposes how rude the people in their community team is toward the community. They would be deceptive when honesty is better. At one point we all loved this game and maybe we can continue doing so. But if we come back from this their community team needs to change.

In the official discord, I mean, let's just look at just a couple reasons I've seen people get banned for.

• "banned because someone linked my comment pinging a mod, instead of the actual person talking shit, and they banned me lmao", the mod "Didn’t even bother to check why they got pinged."
• Telling a mod they missed 90% of warhammer talk
• Talking about warhammer
• Having only numbers in your username. Who even cares, and why are you permabanning people for this? Not even a kick, just permaban?
• Mistyping a word, having automod catch it, being permabanned without warning or notification. You're not kicked. You're permanently banned.
• "I'm not on the official for whatever reason. I've been banned and I don't know why. All I can think of is because I called people who kick with no warning cucks." (probably talking about helldivers gameplay)
• Being banned for asking when some bugs would be fixed

What happens if people try to appeal the bans with an alt? They can get permabanned too.
It's just a mess how AH community team sees hundreds of thousands of players and thinks it won't make a dent in their numbers if they just treat people like garbage. What is the point of this community team? Well, the problem with having these types of people on your team is shown very well in how they have handled recent events.
In the end, what seems fair to say is that PSN integration was going to roll out at launch. It was delayed. Months after launch, it was re-implemented, but this was perceived as Sony's decision, and players were suspicious that Sony was trying to inflate their user count for the shareholders. However, it appears to be more complicated over exactly who wanted how much PSN integration. But again, the lack of consistency from either the CEO or the CMs and hostility from the Super Earth Secret Police who are supposed to be community managers has been the only constant.

The afterlife has been one of the key features of nearly every faith that ever existed, but that doesn't mean all of them think about the hereafter in the same way, the differences between the ultimate fate of the departed and their location vary too much for a unified view, this thread aims to provide a very brief summary about common afterlife beliefs in recorded religions.
The locations and conditions of the afterlife vary a lot in many ways, including how pleasant or unpleasant they are, how earthly or fantastical they are, if there is some sort of morality attached to it or not and if the dead still have the same physical needs they had in life or not.
Keep in mind this list is by no means a complete list and it only briefly explains the main concepts of recorded religions through history, concepts that are too obscure, ambiguous or unrecorded aren't part of this summary.
REINCARNATION
Reincarnation means coming back to life in a new body with a new personality, it's most common in Eastern religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism, as well as new religious movements such as New Age and Spiritualism, some small sects within Western religions believe that too, but it's a minority view.
Some ancient religions from all over the world have this concept too but they are poorly attested, the Maya, Aztecs, Celts and the Norse believed in reincarnation at least for some people or parts of the soul, but it's very difficult to know if this belief was universal and how it worked exactly, Greeks and Romans were aware of this concept but it seems this belief was more commonly held by certain philosopher circles and mystery cults and never reached mainstream acceptance.
RESURRECTION
Resurrection means coming back to life in the same body with the same personality, it's a very common concept in Western religions like Judaism, Christianity and Islam, as well as Zoroastrianism, but not all sects within each of these faiths believe this as an universal feature, at least not in the same way, usually the resurrected have their bodies restored the way it was in life and sometimes they are described as being perfect and immortal.
ANNIHILATION
To put it bluntly, annihilation means the true death of the soul, it means cessation of existence, it's a minority view held by some denominations within Christianity such as Seventh Day Adventists, I'm not sure if any other modern religion has the same idea.
Despite being a seemingly modern idea, it's anything but, ancient Egyptian religion had the same idea for at least part of its history, the goddess Ammit devoured the soul of those deemed unworthy and they ceased to exist.
HEAVEN
A heaven is defined as a place that is perfect or at least much better than Earth, all of the major modern religions have at least 1 heaven and many ancient religions had the same concept, it can be eternal or temporary and the criteria for admission is very different in each religion, sometimes it's following said religion, it can be being very benevolent and in some ancient religions, being a hero or an important warrior who died in battle.
It's known as Jannah in Islam and Garodman in Zoroastrianism, Eastern faiths tend to have several heavens but they are temporary, Greeks and Romans had a concept of heaven called Elysium, the Norse had a similar concept in form of Valhalla and Folkvangr for warriors and heroes slain in war, but it's hard to know how widespread the belief was, Egyptians had a heaven called Sekhet Aaru, the final home of those deemed worthy by the gods, but it was a place people still had to work.

UNDERWORLD
The underworld, also known as netherworld, is a place for neither reward nor punishment, it's the place all the dead go to regardless of their behavior in life, but in some cases a select few could be taken to a heaven or hell, this was a very common view in ancient Near Eastern religions, but as far as I know, no modern religion kept this concept as an afterlife destination.
The netherworld is usually described as very earthly and as a gloomy and dreary place located in a dark cave below the ground, the dead usually lead a similar existence to when they were alive, so much that they are sometimes depicted as still needing to eat and drink and some people would pour libation on the grave of their family members, because the food and water of the netherworld were said to taste horrible.
The underworld was known by Sumerians and Akkadians by names like Kur, Irkalla, Arali, Ganzer, Ersetu among many others, Canaanites knew it as Sheol and Greeks knew it as Hades before they added ideas of heaven and hell, not all depictions of the netherworld were so bleak and depressing, people could make it more bearable by being buried with their possessions to take with them to the underworld.

I'm 15 y/o and somewhere in between agnostic and christian, idk how to describe it.
So I'm from Germany and legally part of the lutheran-protestant church, which is the second biggest church organisation here. When I was 3-10 y/o I went to church about once a month. Then I stopped and only went occasionally. When you are 13-14 in our denomination, you're having the 'confirmation', which you're basically doing to confirm your baptism, since most people are baptised as babies here. I did this and went for one year every week to lessons about the bible, religion and philosophy and maybe once a month to church, had my confirmation in 2022.
I was believing in God back then but was mostly evangelical and conservative, so it wasn't really the right denomination for me. (ik in the US it's different, but over here, most protestants are way more liberal than catholics. gay marriage, female pastors, etc. are pretty normal here).
But around that time I stopped praying and reading the bible. I still believed that God is real, I felt bad when I knew I was comitting sins, I started praying in emergancys automatically, but I called myself agnostic or even atheist, and made fun of Religion etc. Most people, including my parents respected my very liberal and atheistic view (and didn't know I still believed there was a God). They raised my slightly Christian, but they never forced me into anything, if I wanted to I went to special masses for children, and I had a children's bible, and they sometimes told me about God, but that's it. My mum isn't talking about religion at all, and my Dad goes to church once every 4-6 weeks, because he is a volunteer and helping out, but he is more agnostic goes to church for the community and because he likes to help people.
So at the end of 2023, my political views became more extreme. I was reading a lot of leftist stuff, about anarchism and communism. I was anti-religious and said bad things about Christians. I think I did it, because I didn't want to believe in God and tried to fight my inner beliefs with saying those things.
But at one point, idk how, I felt more and more bad everytime I noticed that I sinned, I thought about it all the time and I felt the urge to pray and read the bible and worship, while still acting anti religious.
At one point, I started slowly to pray and read the bible again, and stopped saying those things and asked God for forgiveness. I think that was about 2 months ago.
But a lot of people still thinks I'm antireligious and I only told those friends, who for example saw my bible and asked me, because I'm kinda introverted and wouldn't just tell people about it.
I am wondering now how important it is to attend church, since community is important for faith apparentely and I kinda understand why, we sometimes have school masses (I'm boarding abroad currentely), and I like it, singing together and all that.
But when I'm going back to Germany in a few weeks and stay there for next year, I won't have those school masses and would have to go to church actively, if I wanted to. And then I would have to explain my parents why I'm disappearing every sunday morning and would meet the people I avoided for 2 years in church again.
Obviously, that would be awkward, and also our church consist of maybe 97% people over the age of 50, and some of them are friends with my parents or friend's parents, and it would just be extremely awkward to have to talk to them and I'm antisocial in general and struggle with social anxiety sometimes.
So yeaaa, nothing I really want to do lol. Also, back then in 2022 I was very conservative as I said, and not really convinced of the teachings of our church, because I (a lesbian feminist) was convinced that gay sex and female pastors were wrong and our pastor is female and very liberal (we watched queer eye together in one of our classes). Idk how I'm thinking about those things now, but it's still kinda weird to have a female pastor since I was convinced that this was wrong for a long time (and I'm still not really sure about it).
But going to another church would be even more awkward, because I would have to tell my parents that I would go to a less liberal church and then they would think I'm indroctrinated or idk what.
Well, so this turned out to be more of a vent than I expected it to be when I started typing lol.
I reaaaally want to become a Christian and I'm trying to do my best, and I should care less about other people's opinion on me and my beliefs, but I just do it.
So how important is going to church actually?

Something I've only just noticed on going back through the current arc is that Oda seems to be using Ivankov and Kuma to contrast the ways that tyranny can have the same impact on vastly different kinds of people. Ivankov is loud, boisterous, and travels around the world after gaining his freedom-he's the parts of society that actively chafe under repression, and also those that are repressed simply because the state views anyone who is too different as inherently threatening. Kuma is shy, quiet, and just wants to live in peace-he's the parts of society who would be only too happy to live their lives away from the wider world, but who tyranny forces into action by preventing them from having that peace and normalcy. It's possible that Dragon represents the defector-from-decadence archetype, the member of the ruling class who betrays them in favor of the people, but I'm not sure on that yet since I'd think that his experiences with being in the Navy would've been under someone Garp trusted with his son, meaning one of the actually decent Marines as opposed to Akainu or Kizaru.

I have been spending most of my time practicing at Monza in the Huracana ST trying to get better to continue on in career mode. I figured I should get good enough in the game to post decent lap times against AI before I jump online. I really am hoping to avoid ruining someone else’s experience because I don’t know what I’m doing. I spent about 30 hours on that track in that car and the best I could do was a 2:05:xx without any consistency at all. I have been playing inside the cockpit the entire time, for immersion. It was very frustrating not having much improvement over so many hours and laps.
A couple of days ago I was messing around with the different view options. I ended up trying the furthest view from behind the car. The very first lap using this view I got a 2:03:xx, and that was just me having fun with it and not really trying. It was the fastest lap I had done. I kept using this view and my lap times continued to improve and I become very consistent. Now my best is a 1:58:xx. I tried going back to a more immersive view and I was back to posting worse times without any consistency. I just felt like the car was harder to turn and became less predictable.
Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone with some experience have any idea as to why this is happening? I’d much rather drive from the dashboard view, but if it’s making me 5 seconds slower and inconsistent then I won’t. Maybe there is something I’m missing and someone else may be able to provide some insight?
Btw, I’m playing on an Xbox using a G920 on a sim racing stand with a DIY seat connected to it. I’m playing on a 65” TV.

(29M) About a year ago I got out of an abusive relationship. My former partner(Female a year older than me) would not hesitate to be mentally abusive, and on some occasions physically. She was also financially abusive. And controlling. My former partner had BPD and knew lots of ways to manipulate my neuro divergent tendencies. Things like telling me i was stupid, I was nothing without her, I didnt have any friends ect. The instances of abuse were always framed as my fault because in her words I "just pushed her and pushed her and pushed her". a year ago I escaped that situation and since then have not really shown any interest in having an intimate relationship with anyone in that time. I was also in therapy and still am. Even though I didn't try to pursue an relationship, women would still show interest in me and these things have been detrimental to my self worth because these women show interest and then for whatever reason are deterred from ever talking to me again. The first instance was a girl that showed a lot of interest and even gave me her number with out me asking for it we texted for 2 months and she began to text me less and less. I eventually just asked her about it and said that she didn't want to give me the idea we could be more than friends even though she was the one who pursued me and wanted to talk about deeply personal topics like the kind you would if you were romantically interested in some one. I decided to just move on but this did make me feel really dejected and like I was unfit for anyone to really want to consider me as their partner unless they had ulterior motives of control and abuse as those seem to be the only relationships I've been in throughout my adult life. Which is only reinforced by my cycle of thinking as I didn't date or even have a lot of friends in my teen years. After this I met a girl at a bar who was actually working there. I know that bar staff are supposed to make you feel welcome and be overly friendly as I've been in quite a few, but this was different. I would come to this bar with a friend of mine and it was known and would be well on display that I was the designated driver. I've never really been much of a drinker, my friend on the other hand enjoys his libations. He tends to ask me to go because he knows I can keep him in check, and because I train martial arts can keep the situation under control if things get out of hand. Essentially he knows I can ensure he's safe and I can keep a conversation going. Anyway this girl notices I'm the dd because I'll only get a water when we come in and starts to leave from behind the bar and bring me a water when we walk in regularly. We also start to engage in conversation pretty heavily. So one night I came in by myself because my friends work schedule had changed I gather all my courage and ask her for her number. She seems pretty happy about this since we had been talking for the better part of 3hrs before hand and she even gave me a hug before I left. I texted her a little while after leaving the bar so she would also have my number. I received no reply. I figured she was busy so I didn't think too much of it. A whole week goes by with no reply. I finally decided to send a text jokingly asking her if she was ghosting me. I get a one sentence reply stating "heeyyy I've been busy" about an hour and a half later. I text her back "hey don't apologize I'm here when you're ready to talk" I meant it as a nonchalant reply like "hey no rush I'd just like to talk when your free" I wasn't upset or anything but I suppose it could've been misconstrued as being passive aggressive. That being said she never replied to me again. The feelings I mentioned previously creep back in and I don't even talk to another woman until almost 7 months later. This was also not a planned instance as I had gone out to a bar to participate in a kind of baby shower type get together a friend of mine was having. I didn't plan on talking to anyone who was woman, especially since the party I was going to was divided by gender as some celebrations of a child being on the way will be. I had already been at this bar for a few hours and was planning on leaving until my friends wife decided to bring her party over to the same bar and it ended up being just a casual hang out as the women that were involved with the mother's part of the get-together were now intermingling amongst us. As this was happening I had noticed one of the women had a tattoo of the avenged sevenfold logo on her back. I struck up a conversation with her about how I was a fan of theirs in junior high and so were my friends. We then continued to chat and I found out that we actually had a lot of things in common not just music taste,and that we both played guitar, but also stances on politics and humor and just about anything else we talked about. I talked to this woman for close to 8hrs we even went around the corner to a pub to get food. While we were doing this she invited me to come over to her apartment we then proceeded to sit on her couch and share different songs and genres we liked with eachother and talking about life, while smoking weed as she had a prescription and I suppose didn't want to be rude so offered me some. I'm not a smoker really but obliged. While this was going on I did disclose to her my financial situation and that I lived with my parents because I was trying to get back on my feet again. She seemed really supportive about this as well. We later started watching the show black mirror and were starting to get closer physically her legs were draped over one of mine. Her chest was over top of mine. My arm had slid behind her back and our faces were a bit close. I'm really cautious about consent and personal space because of the abuse I went through so I asked her "hey would I ruin the vibe if I kissed you?" Kind of nervously as I was a little high. She just kind of giggled and said she liked to take things slow. I said it wasn't a problem and respected her decision and we continued watching back mirror in the same position. Later she said she was going to go to bed and I said I would sleep on the couch. I kicked off my shoes and was laying on the couch still high. The door to her bedroom which was across the apartment from the couch only about 8ft away was open and I turned my head and asked "hey did you want me to come to bed with you?" She said yes so I promptly went into the bedroom and we began cuddling. I fell asleep. The next day I woke up and we still cuddling. We both kind of woke up at the same time. We talked a little while still pretty much spooning eachother. While we were doing this she kissed me. We then kind of softly made out, talked a little got out of bed sat on the couch, kissed a few more times, watched black mirror. This whole time I've gotten 2 calls from a friend of mine who I am in a band with we practice on Sundays and I was going to be late I considered not showing up but ultimately relented and decided I didn't want to be clingy and wear out my welcome especially since I hadn't planned on any of this and she had slightly been hinting about starting her Sunday routine and I didnt want to throw off her process to get her week started. So I decided to leave. I kissed her again told her I'd really like to see her again and left. A few hours later while I was at band practice I sent her a meme She replied about a day later. Since then our texting was really scant. She did disclose when we met that she wasn't on her phone a lot and didn't text that much so I chalked it up to that. I tried to really have a conversation going but couldn't. I also asked if she wanted to hang out that Thursday as I had the day off. She said she was busy which I thought no problem. Oddly enough I got an update on Facebook that she had posted in a musicians page I'm a part of about wanting to meet up and jam with other people that same day. Also we didn't add eachother on social media so she had no idea if I would see this. I though it was weird but didn't really think anything of it outside of "hey I play guitar too why can't we hang out and play?" After that I got sick and she happened to stop texting me. The next week I sent another meme and sparked a sparse text conversation that went nowhere. Then a few days after that on the advice of my therapist I decided to just ask her out on a date. I was ignored. This made me feel like utter fucking shit. As well as being confused as to why she would spend so much time with me, kiss me, and even half ass text me. To just ignore me. The thoughts I previously mentioned crept back into my skull and were very intense. I started to spiral and think why it would happen. I thought about my physical attributes, about how I was over six foot tall, about how I was in decent shape, about how even some of my male friends and people in a professional environment had told me I should be a model, tha I was "handsome". I'm kind and compassionate. I try to be a great conversationalist. It just didn't make any sense to me it didn't feel fair. I was heartbroken as I though I had met someone who actually appreciated my taste in music (she Even told me I had good taste in music), the fact I was kind of awkward. She liked my point of view and ideas on things. She liked that I looked out for my friends. She seemed to accept me. After all of that I didn't it wasn't even real I guess. Since then I was having a lot of negative thoughts I even found some old Facebook messages this girl had sent me when I was a teen in which she was emotionally manipulating me Essentially wanting me to be limerent (she had even posted on my wall about how she cared about me and was sorry she couldn't make it to my graduation that she never intended on going to) which added to all of this negative thinking I had been experiencing lately. (I even thought to myself I sounded like an incel which also was disheartening those people suck and I dont even want to be considered in the same catagory as men who would treat women that way) I really just don't know what my problem is and I just don't want to try to get back in to dating as well because I don't like this feeling of being dejected and not feeling worthy of some one else's love. I'm left with this deep hurt and I just want to say fuck it I'm done.

It’s gunna be a long one so I suggest getting your self a drink get comfy and I’ll try to make it the easiest read I can. As the title suggests this is what happened to me, my wife and our 2 year old son. The lord as my witness everything written is 100 percent true and accurate with many witnesses.
I don’t even know where to start this so I’ll just go from where I feel is relevant, I 31 male moved to Cornwall uk in 2018 then 24 coming up to 25. I moved into a beautiful one bedroom flat with sea views with nothing but a motorbike 1 bag on my back and a starting date for work 18th February 2018.
All was fine everything was going good life was finally looking up I moved from a city to rural countryside breathtaking beaches, beautiful people and I was ready to finally start adulthood. When I moved into my flat I had nothing, absolutely nothing apart from 7 days worth of clean boxers and socks a guitar and some chef whites. The flat was unfurnished apart from a bed frame and a chest of drawers so naturally I would have to buy everything I needed while I was there, I didn’t even have a mattress for my bed. 2018 was a big year for Cornwall as we had the beast of the east, heavy snow (now I like snow and being a northern boy I was used to it but this stuff came down thick and heavy)! As I said I had a motorbike for transport and I was in work when the beast of the east hit and obviously couldn’t ride back home as the snow was about 2 ft deep by the time I left.
So I walk home and as soon as you entered my flat my bedroom was to the right of the front door a cubard directly in front of you my bathroom just to the left and my living room just down the hallway to the left also. In my hall way I had a shoe rack where I always used to put my shoes, now given I had just walked 3 miles in the snow I could swear I put my bike boots on said shoe rack when I got home. Any way I carried on with my evening as normal and played guitar drank a few beers and just generally chilled before getting my head down. I was sleeping on my couch as my mattress hadn’t arrived yet, but the next morning when I woke up my bike boots was in-front of the couch like some one had jumped on them walked up to where I was sleeping and jumped out. Not only that my heater had been pulled out of the alcove it was in and turned on. I passed this off as nothing it was probably just me and I didn’t remember.
Fast forward a few months nearly a year and I’m all settled my flat is great, my work is great life is good. I met a beautiful young lady (that’s now my wife) although we just started as friends. I’m so happy.
How ever I worked on a holiday park as a chef, one day I get a knock on the back door to the kitchen. There was a man that I had been serving all week and he said sorry to bother you but my wife would like a word with you. Now I’m thinking great what have I done now. But she was smiling and happy and said to me is your gf or wife pregnant I had neither at the time, so I responded nope why do you ask? She told me her name it was carrol (forget her second name) she was a head at a spiritual church in wales. She proceeded to tell me I had a little boys spirit following me around and she could see him. I didn’t know how to react, so I just said oh ok really! And took her details added her on Facebook etc etc, now a few months go by things in the flat was getting weird not that I recognised at the time but like things moving / going missing and I just played it off like it was me being tired from work.
Again fast forward a little bit I’m dating my now wife and mother to my children, she’s staying over but she worked evenings till early hours in the morning when i would wait to go pick her up, at this point I had sold my motorbike to buy a car (more practical and I needed one as per the condition where I worked was I had to have a car to collect stock of a morning).
One night she was in work I was sat at my table designing her tattoo for the back of her leg as I love to draw, I used to have lanterns on my table that where on like a metal frame but they could swing. That night I was drawing both lanterns where swinging in unison so I FaceTimed I will call her red (as I don’t wish to identify her by name). While on face time I showed her the lanterns and I stepped away from the table thinking my shading was moving them and the second I did I swear to the almighty lord they stoped dead! Dead centre like they hadn’t even moved. She witnessed this and was like what the ****.
But once again we put it to the back of our minds and fast forward a few days / maybe a week. I used to have a picture of red and her best friend one of them stupid long ones that you get from a photo machine at an arcade, locked behind my intercoms phone. One day we was stood in the living room and i promise no one was near it but this picture came from behind the phone and landed in the middle of the living room floor. We laughed about it at the time and was like oooooo spooky but we was stupid!
So strange things kept happening red hated being in the flat on her own and hated being in my room as I had a built in wardrobe and she would always say she felt uneasy. The strange things never stopped but we always just brushed it off. Until …….
Our son is born now there’s a 2 year gap where my little lad I’ll refer to him as A, the happings never stopped or eased but we would always just pass it off, how ever when A was about 2 he would always talk to him self in the kitchen and say brother, look daddy brother but not a second later he would scream. Any one whos a parent knows there kids sounds and this sound instantly got my back up am talking as a father hearing my son make this noise I was ready to kill, the anger and rage that I felt inside was something I can’t even put into words, my baby boy was terrified of something and fatherly instincts kicked in.
Every morning while at this flat I would wake up with little bumps or marks across my body, but I always thought it was where I slept or how I slept, but red noticed the same time my lad was doing what he was in the kitchen I was waking up with what looked like chain marks around my wrists and arms and sometimes I awoke with scratches not 4 or 5 like a human hand but 3, just 3 linear scratches across my body.
Covid 2.0 come along, we all get locked down now hear I am with a young family so I did my door badge, I got night work as a security guard and red would refuse to sleep with A until I got home she would always say it felt like something / some one was watching her.
Now red had family down, and said family is a medium (at the time I would have laughed at this as I was very much so on the fence). But one night reds auntie was at her mums house and was doing a reading. During this reading she said she become overtaken by an entity she started pulling this horrible smile that my little lad used to do. (I wasn’t there to confirm this). But the next morning red and I and A are out and about in the car just been for hot chocolate when red gets a phone call from her mum.
Are you with T (me) red says yeah why? Her mum says get T and A to mine right now they both need to be saged with a white feather. So at this point I’m like *** off laughing but then I thought **** it I’ll ride the bus to the next stop. I walk into reds mums and her aunt (who I’ve never ever met doesn’t even know my second name) says to me you would have had a little boy, he would have been around 5 now and his birthday is in July.
Truth be told before I moved to Cornwall I had relations with a lady they should have been forbidden and she fell pregnant, but unfortunately lost the baby. How ever she was pulled to one side by a stranger in the street whom said 10th of July he would have been here.
So this lady reds aunt doesn’t know a thing about me but knew this, knew what faces / smirks A used to do and knew about him screaming from the kitchen and climbing up me in panic. She hadn’t seen or heard any of this no one had.
She proceeded to tell me I had a evil entity attached to my back and that’s why i suffer with back pain, this entity was hiding behind the spirit of my unborn and when A seen him or tried to interact with him he would come out from behind my unborn to scare him. He would use A•s fear and trauma as energy to try and make its self stronger as its end goal was me. It was terrorising my son to get to me.
I went white what the actual **** is going on, I spent the next few weeks thinking I was going insane. But things at the flat was getting worse I contacted Carrol and she said go into every room every storage room / cubard every dark space and say if you are not here with love and light then I command you too leave
A was getting more and more anxious in the flat, around this time we had been accepted for a house and one day he was in the hall way, I was getting the hoover out and he kept slamming the door on the cubard shut saying no daddy I thought he was being cute. I was wrong.
As things started to escalate we tried to reach out for help I’ve gone from a sceptic to a full on believer. We went to a witch shop a couple of towns over, the sell crystals candles etc etc. but when we walked in the woman wouldn’t even look at me, I tried to explain my story but A started messing around so I took him out side and this lady said to red no candles or crystals are going to help him with what he’s got she gave red two business cards for 2 white witches.
So let’s fast forward again at this point reds had enough A is unhappy! But we have a new house to move into so we said we would stay in the flat one last night before we go to the new house the next day. Our last night in the flat didn’t last from the second we walked in it felt so cold so unwelcoming just horrible atmosphere. So we packed up and went and slept on the couch in our new house. That was the last time red or A would step foot in that flat.
I had given my notice to my landlord about moving so I was there cleaning with L that’s reds sister and as we are cleaning we are both in separate rooms, she is in the kitchen I’m in the bedroom I hear her scream and then she ran into the room I was cleaning. Turns out this thing was not happy not happy at all. She was cleaning the cubard under the sink and as she tried to close the door she said it felt like something was pushing against it. She let go of it and it slammed shut. I did actually hear it from the bedroom, I told her to calm down it will be ok and we will work together.
I walked into the bathroom now this flats been empty all day I had had a wee when I first got there but other than that, nothing no one had used the bathroom. But when we walked in there was water everywhere sink was soaking wet, shower tray was soaking and the black and glitter tiles where soaked. We just wanted to get the **** done and get out. That night she left and swore she would never go back. Any who
I get reds mum over to sage the flat and she said she hated being in there, and I have 3 friends they are all into the paranormal, and wanted to explore the flat. I allowed them in as they where down on holiday and I’ll call him S is just like me emotionally dead only had two but after he left that flat he got in our friends car, he broke down in full blows tears and said he’s never felt so empty unloved and lonely. Another of our friends said he saw a long thin figure in the living room all in black with no eyes and was not of this world. He said the reason it had no eyes is because the eyes are a portal to the soul and things not of this plain can’t copy the eyes.
Any way let’s move on I left that flat and every time I left I had to say you are not welcome to follow me or attach to me, you are not welcome in my home or around my family you must stay here or go back to where you belong
Me red and A have lived in our new place a couple of years he’s happy no more screaming and running up me, red is comfortable and I haven’t awoke with chain marks since we started living here.
Red has crystals on all entry and exit points, she had the house saged, but on a whole she is happy and content, I am just never allowed to talk about these events infront of her. Last I heard that thing is still at the flat with my little unborn boy and my A•s grandad who did well to protect A.
This is my story that changed me from a sceptical to a firm believer in paranormal entity’s.

Me M/21 and her F/21 met lately last year in December after I had finally gotten a job I've wanted within my college at the school gym. I had seen her around quote a bit before and thought she was very kind and pretty but I didn't know her and hadn't found the confidence in myself to talk to her. After getting this position, I found myself around her more, talking to her more and eventually we both knew we had an interest in each other. I asked her for her number and if she wanted to hangout (go on a date) and she was all about it. We went on a date, had a great time and the next morning I was hit with a "I think it's better that we just stay friends." While I was ok with this and was ready to move on, I get a text from her a month later just saying "hey, how was your day?" At first I didn't think anything of it but as time went on I could tell she liked talking to me a lot. This went on for another month and so I asked if she wanted to hangout sometime again, and she was down to do so. Something flipped within a 24 hour period where she was dodging hanging out and didn't seem interested anymore. Eventually she stopped talking to me and then found out she had started seeing another guy. I was really confused, and annoyed and just felt stabbed in the back, even if that wasn't really the case. I figured she just liked me for attention, so from then on I just focused on myself, work, school and friends. Eventually (a few months later) I found out she wasn't even dating this guy at all and that he hadn't treated her well towards the end. Me being me, I told myself that I really didn't want to regret not trying with this girl one last time and putting everything I had left into it, because I knew if I didn't then I would kick myself over it. So I tried again, we talked a bunch, hungout a few times and eventually I ask her out on a real date. Right after I asked her I could tell she wasn't interested in a date and kind of regretted it. I was then told by a homie (boyfriend of her bestfriend) that he overheard her say that she likes that I'm persistent but isn't interested. Later on the next day (Easter) I get a text saying "Can I ask why you are so persistent on things between us?" And I responded with "I truly value you as a person and I see something with us, and when I truly value a person I have a hard time letting them go. But I don't want to make you uncomfortable, that's the last thing I want to do." I get no text the rest of the night and in the morning when I see her at work, she doesn't mention it whatsoever. It had been bugging me so I brought it up and low and behold she says the same thing as before. "I tried dating and it's just not something I wanna do right now." I hear that and I'm ready to be her friend but she gives me this hot and cold approach and i never know what to do. Now I think about her all the time and that maybe there's a chance in the future when I shouldn't be thinking this at all. I wanna move on but can't, I wanna be able to date and see other people but I feel like I'm making myself unavailable in case she comes back. It's unhealthy, especially with a girl I never dated, but since I work with her I gotta see her everyday and as I get to know her more, I realize how much we have in common (politics, music taste, points of view, interests) but I can't share any of it with her and it's eating me alive.
I guess I mainly want help on how to deal with it? If anyone has some advice or similar experiences I'd love to hear them. Thank you for reading

I have combined our first 2 days there because all of it is in Dublin, we arrive at about noon, and after we get our rental car, get to the hotel, and all that jazz I don't know how much time we will have to do item specific things.
We are super active so the hiking won't be too much for us! Please give me all advice, ideas, and tips you may have to help make this an amazing time. Also, and recommendations on restaurants in the areas we will be would be great!
Day 1+2 Dublin- National Botanic Garde, Guinness Storehouse, Book of Kells/Trinity college, Kilmainham Gaol, Sunset at Howth Head(thinking this will be on day 1), check out interesting stores, and head to airbnb in Wicklow(end of day 2).
Day 3 Wicklow- Ballinastoe Woods, White Hill, Djouce Mountain, and Powerscourt waterfall.
Day 4 Wicklow- St. Kevin's Way Hike 16.1 miles and then head to Doolin.
Day 5 Doolin- Burren Perfumery, The Burren National Park, and Doolin Cave to see the Great Stalactite.
Day 6 Doolin- Hike from O’Connors pub to the cliffs and back. Head to Galway and check in then get dinner there.
Day 7 Galway- Hall of the Red Earl, Galway Cathedral, and Katie’s Cottage Museum & Claddagh Arts Workshop.
Day 8 Galway- Paddle Board- Rusheen Bay, check out Salthill, head back to Dublin.
Day 9 Dublin- St Stephen's Green, Little Museum of Dublin, and Shopping.
Day 10 Dublin- Go home.

Or do I not know how to search instagram? Since there are plenty of pros here, I’m hoping you can guide me. My team started producing content for me using my personal account. They switched it to business and then back to creator but I get at most 200 views and no new followers. No likes other than a couple friends.
We tried searching for similar content but there is very little out there. I found no identical match for what we do. What should I do to scale and grow?
The niche is we partner with property owners to develop real estate. So we are a developer but instead of buying land, we JV with owners take them through the process, help raise financing and build. I want to stay local to our current region but feel like I’m making my target market even smaller.

Me and my boyfriend are leaving together for almost a year. I would guess that by now he already knows what makes me uncomfortable… However, tonight while we were together one of his best friends (a girl) called him, she called him a few days ago but he didn’t reply because we were on a vacation. So tonight he decided to pick up but she hung up on him, and he called her back. They speak arabic and I don’t understand most of it, like 97% of it… I asked him what was it about and he said that basically she was not very well with her boyfriend, that her boyfriend was there next to her and that she probably just wanted her bf to listen to her talking to a “guy” on the phone, probably to make him jealous. Some context: my boyfriend moved from his country and this friend still lives there, but supposedly she knows about me, and I don’t know… but from my point of view if i have a friend (man) and he has a gf i wont be disrespectful to the point i ask him to make my bf jealous. My bf defended himself saying that him and this girl are very closed, and even did a hand gesture to piss me off even more and demonstrate how close they are… And then proceeded to say i always see things wrong on his relationship with his Female friends, and also if next time I would rather having him lying to me instead of saying the truth. After i left him in the room to marinate on the wrong things he said to me he apologized and said i was right and that if the roles were reversed he would not like it. But i am still very pissed because now he is sleeping like and angel and i am over here thinking that maybe he just apologized but next time he will just lie to me like he said, because it’s not the first or second time that he did something that I find disrespectful with a friend and for him it’s always normal…
TL; DR: My boyfriend was in a call with a girl friend to help her make her boyfriend jealous. I feel gaslighted with his reaction.
