Recently SJ bragged he was going to be expanding his his real estate empire and start buying real estate outside of the US. It never happened, never has been mentioned again, just gone almost like he simply can't afford it.
Now this article is saying the Crap Coral Florida market is getting crushed, drastic price drops by people begging to flee.
Intetest rates are at decades highs, HOA fees doubling on average, insurance rates doubling in some cases for new owners, inventory sky high.
Stutjo claims to be a real estate genius but his purchase really shows him to be a fucking moron...buying an empty house, not renting it, in the worst fucking market in america.
I can only imagine how pissed his.brothers and sisters are at him for roping his mom into this shit. Can this be reported as elder financial abuse? It is just so sick to burn your mom like this when she is living on a retirement income to begin with.

BSG and why you shouldn't be surprised…
People being in such shock at how scummy of a scam BSG had committed is interesting. These guys are Russians, they made a great game with a great concept, but in the end their environmental factors will show true as it is now and how it has been for quite some time. Lets remember, this is the game that literally photoshopped Travis Fimmel to their game cover, lol. The copyright infringement BSG has committed is hilariously gross, do you really think BSG is paying for the license to use all the products from real companies named in their game?
Now you will wrestle with, "but how can they do commit such large copy right infringement if that is true". The simple and straight answer is: They are in Russia, end of story. Regardless if they have a 'office' in UK or wherever, any sanctions from a suit will have to be done in Russia, this is simply how they get away with it. Also pretty hilarious how they get upset that other games are ripping them off (ha, I am glad tbh).
Just wait until people start actually entertaining the strong possibly that BSG is also connected with the RMT/Sales of 'cheats' for the game engine. "oh no they wouldnt do this, why???" - Now that you see what has been done with EOD, and you conclude correctly on why they are doing it, you cant dismiss the strong possibility (imo) that BSG is also enabling systematic cheating and RMT for their own financial benefit.

After 10 years of marriage, two IVF kids (ages 3 and 5), and just months after moving into our first purchased home, I (37M) caught my wife (41F) cheating on me with a younger dude (25M) during a manic bipolar episode, and divorced her a year later.
So, we originally met at church. I grew up with "traditional Christian values," having attended church my whole life. I was heavily involved in church ministry at the time. She was also very involved, having started her religious journey 5 years prior, and after a couple dozen of dead-end situationships, spent her 20s celibate. I would be her first (and to this day, only) public-facing committed relationship. We shared common goals, were generally compatible due to our silly sense of humor and similar ethnocultural backgrounds, love for music, and most importantly, devout faith. We were engaged a year after meeting, and married a year after that. Things were generally good for a bit.
Throughout the relationship, she seemed to always have emotional turmoil in her personal life. She was (and still is) obese, hated her job, was usually angry about something in life, often depressed, and struggled with her self image. There would be times where I’d make romantic gestures, gifts, flowers, etc. and she’d reject them because she didn’t understand how anyone could love her if she didn’t love herself. This didn’t stop me (at first.) I’ve spent most of my life pretty optimistic and enjoyed being with her, despite her being uncomfortable with herself. Midway through our marriage, after years of struggling with constant painful trips to the hospital due to fibroids, cyst bursts, and an ectopic pregnancy, we finally decided to do IVF for our two children. It was a long and expensive process. It cost us about as much as buying a new midrange sedan. Pregnancy was hard on her, and led to postpartum depression. It was rough on both of us. We went into couples therapy, and did it for about 8mo. It seemed to help temporarily. Around this time, we were also in the middle of buying a house, a process which took about a year of saving, searching, and dealing with banks, realtors, and inspectors. She still says to this day that this year-long process was “rushed.”
Some time in late ’22, her usual ups and downs began to have higher “ups” and deeper “downs.” She would be highly energetic sometimes, constantly going to the gym, buying lots of new clothing, out with friends, going to bars on the weekends. Other times she would disappear into our bedroom and sleep all day, complain about motherhood, and would often say harsh things like “I hate being a mother” or “I hate being a wife.” These statements were often very extreme or hard to listen to as a husband. When I’m told that someone resents being a spouse, or wishes they hadn’t had children with me, it’s hard not to take it personally. It was also just often constant negativity, and difficult to swallow on a constant basis. She felt neglected by me, and didn’t feel that I provided a safe space for her to be fully emotionally expressive.
All of this was compounded by both of us deconstructing from our faith, and leaving the church life we were so used to. It was a very tough time in general.
In January of ’23, I discovered text messages between her and the dude. They seemed to have started the affair about a month prior. It was the first time I’d ever seen something like that, and was visibly shaking as I read the messages. I cooked some pasta, we and our two toddlers ate, and I waited til they were asleep to confront her about it. She reacted stoically and basically said she “liked” this man. They’d already gotten physical, but not sexual yet. She didn’t want to end the affair.
These were actually a crazy 2 weeks. We had sex daily, and fought daily. For a brief moment, she’d convinced me that she actually did want to end this affair, and we got matching tattoos on Valentine’s day. It was my first/only tattoo. This was a mistake.
All of this was so much, that we both knew that something was wrong. She took a leave of absence from her job, and went into Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP). Basically 4 hours of daily Zoom calls with group and individual therapy, 4 days a week for 3mo. She was eventually diagnosed with Bipolar Type 2. It explained the affairs (there were other men), shopping sprees, and wild behavior. I was ready to forgive.
When I discovered the second phone, I needed to set an ultimatum. Get rid of the phone, or move out. She decided that keeping the phone was more important. After having the same phone number for 20 yrs, she ended up keeping the new phone number as her main phone. It was symbolic of this new self she was embracing. She moved out to stay with her mother, and continued her IOP from there.
After a few weeks of IOP, she decided to buy a Tesla. Apparently a new hypomanic episode was starting up. During this period, she was actually still seeing the dude, and also dating other men, despite me begging her to stop cheating. One time, she came over, and we had sex. That same day, she went to the gym, got some guy’s number, came back home, and was texting with him right next to me. I felt like a cuck with no dignity, begging multiple men to stop seeing my wife, seeing my children suffer and cry every day, missing their mother, who only saw them a few hours a week.
She was pretty tight with the girl living next door at the time, and would occasionally pick her up, both of them wearing skimpy clubbing outfits, and drive right past our door. It was such a dark time for me. My depression/anxiety was at an all time high, and every aspect of my life suffered. By April ’23, she told me she was signing a lease on a luxury studio apartment. I told her that if she signed that lease, our marriage was over. Despite all the problems during that season, I still held onto the hope that these problems were all connected to her diagnosis, and I was willing to put in the work necessary to recover from this. What I knew I couldn’t handle was a 12mo lease—a year of separation. Her word were “it’s only a year.” I begged her to stay with her mom and get into couples therapy with me instead. She agreed to start, and immediately quit on the therapist the next day. This happened twice with two different therapists.
I was done.
I was so angry.
I immediately hopped on Tinder, and had the wildest 3mo of my life. I met all kinds of women, some younger, some older. Single moms, young women, middle-aged women, etc. Some time in June, I’d met someone that was very different from everyone. We both came into it with no expectations, and understood that this was totally casual. She knew I was still technically married, and we fully intended to just have fun, and enjoy our time together. Days became weeks, weeks became months, and we fell for each other.
I know what you’re thinking; this was a rebound, it was too soon, etc. We understood all of this, didn’t make any wild decisions, and just continued to see each other. By then, my relationship with my wife was somewhat civil, and she was taking the kids to her apartment half the week. It’s been this way for 10mo now. After an annoying 3mo process going back & forth on our separation agreement, I finally filed for divorce.
By then, my family met my new gf, and my kids were starting to bond with her. We have a LOT in common, have a very balanced/healthy relationship, and really understand each other. She’s 7 yrs older than me, a widow coming from a decade-long marriage, and has two college-age kids. She’s great with my kids, and I get along pretty well with hers, as well as our extended families. We’ve even done some traveling together, and have really enjoyed our time the past 9mo. We decided that this summer she’d move in with me. By then, we will have known each other a year.
I still deal with some guilt, even over a year after all this stuff started. Did I quit on a sick woman? Will this traumatize our children forever? Did I start something new too soon? Am I the asshole for moving on?

As the title states, do algorithms have an endpoint? Or do they just go to infinity?
If they go to infinity, and are used to trade what I assume is the vast majority of volume in the markets, for both stocks and derivatives, shouldn't that be a problem, even just in the idea of itself? (Algorithms that are designed to go to infinity running the markets?!)

Interpreting like this, I would expand the timeframe I see everything since the sneeze in 2021 and think this has just been a long, extended "consolidation" phase for the stock (3+ yrs). I usually hear that term around multiple-month timeframes, but I think GME warrants a wider picture because it makes more sense at this point. If timeframes are widened to a bigger picture, the picture becomes more evident. GameStop is a profitable company, with 1.2 billion in the bank, virtually no debt (except the small French loan we have all come to know an love lol), and most importantly, IS NOT GOING BANKRUPT 🖕

Futures are important tools for managing everyday risks that arise in the course of daily business.
While derivatives can be used by traders to speculate, they're also used by farmers, entities accepting foreign currency, businesses needing to purchase energy into the future, or any entity that has to hold a large amount of commodities on their books. Derivatives give entities a means to hedge risk and run a stable business in a real world where stuff happens―it's not always just a degen casino.
Preventing such tools from existing can be a highly effective strategy if corrupt regulators wanted to break markets and keep certain markets permanently broken (i.e. volatile and illiquid) on behalf of an entrenched elite.
Earlier this month I proposed a project to create tooling to issue and incentivize future time locked BCH deposits as fungible tokens on Bitcoin Cash. Unbeknownst to me, in December, Coinbase began applying with the CFTC to allow trading of futures contracts for a number of UTXO coins, including Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
Although they sound like very similar products (like a perpetual and a perpetuity) they can effectively behave like opposites. One may pay you til you die, while the other you pay into until you're dead.

But let's get into the fucking nuance.

SeEDs aRE the cURReNCy of ThE fUtUrE!

Trading onion futures is famously illegal in US markets, because the small but important crop was cornered then manipulated once by speculators.
The idea of an onion future contract is simple. If someone buys a hundred bushels of onions six months into the future, they'd then be entitled to delivery of onions on that date.
One problem would be, if it's possible to borrow money against the value of those open future onion contracts, it's relatively straight-forward to "loop it" and drive the price of onions ever higher, and then crash negative with shorting―which is bad for literally everyone that grows and/or eats onions.
(Custody of the onions was also half the corner.)
But if trading onion futures wasn't banned. And farmers had to deal with perpetual extreme volatility or deliberately broken markets, one potential method to deal with the fraud would be for farmers to revert to their native currency: use the onions as currency.
Onion farmers could collectively say, "borrowing fiat against onion futures at inflated prices is stupid; and the money thus printed and loaned has no value―we only accept the money we print ourselves: you can only buy our future onions with onions."
Onion denominated onion futures would be a risky position for the farmers. They may no longer have as much protection against widespread crop failure from blight or drought―'cause they're all in on onions. But if someone wanted to manipulate the market, they'd have to do it with something real instead of a number printed by a bank.
"No" is a powerful word. Nation states sometimes use a similar fiat denominated interest on timed deposits of their own fiat currency to stabilize the foreign circulating supplies of their currencies. So if onion farmers wanted to do something similar, it'd be a pretty powerful tool.
So if rehypothecated fiat is rejected by the market place, neither a billion dollar tokens nor a trillion of dollars of tokens has any value until it is converted to something real.
That's why the Future Bitcoin Cash Token proposal is a BCH denominated time deposit BCH instrument, and that's very different from a simple future.

Cash settled v. "Cash" settled.

So there's bitcoin "cash" and petrodollar "cash". Both CB futures and CT Futures will be "cash" settled, but those words (again) have very different meanings.
The CashToken proposal will allow anyone to exchange a fungible token for the equivalent in Bitcoin Cash, in a trustless permissionless way.
The Coinbase proposal will peg the value of the contract to a benchmark index for the fiat exchange rate and settle for the fiat "cash" value.
In the real world, Futures contracts that don't result in physical delivery are never really accurately priced. If the Bitcoin Cash isn't purchased to honor the contract, then the index price is always the pre-settlement price.
What does the price mean? The purchase of the BCH to honor the future must be reflected in the market price before settlement. In an illiquid market like BCH, a future without real delivery can be materially different once delivered than a contract marked to an index.
In summary:
In the case of the CashTokens proposal, BCH is "delivered" or redeemed 1:1 on-chain.
In the case of the Coinbase proposal, it's fiat at some price, but always at a market price where the BCH was not purchased for delivery.

Irrevocable Auction Market v. Benchmark Indexed

The CashTokens Futures proposal is more like money market or timed deposit market than a traditional futures contract.
With the CT FS proposal, to remove trust and to remain fully backed, coupon writers paying nominal interest on deposits lay the money out upfront. Punters taking coupons to lock coins don't know what the fiat price of BCH will be when their deposit matures, but they do know the sat denominated rate of return they accepted in advance.
Coupons are just unspent outputs sent to a contract that earmarks every utxo as only being spendable in creation of a fungible future token. The coupons are irrevocable, and the effective interest increases as the time remaining to maturation decreases. This proposed mechanism would allow for new legitimate price discovery of an interest rate between coupon writers and coupon takers.
Rather than driving new price discovery, Coinbase futures will be pegged to settle to the MarketVector™ Coinbase BitcoinCash Benchmark Rate (“Index”), which will be tabulated by MarketVector Indexes GmbH. This means their contracts will settle at the price determined by "the market" (or dominant market maker) similar to an on-chain oracle.
If futures contracts are suppose to enable anyone to purchase something in the future for a real fixed price, the coinbase product is problematic because not only does it not deliver the coins, but the contracts don't intrinsically affect price discovery.
If futures are fiat-settled and driven by an index, then a single market maker with the ability to mint dollar tokens may dictate the price of futures. And we're in the wild west of a cornered onion world again.

Fees v. Fees.

The fees for the Coinbase contracts are listed at $0.10 a piece.
The fees to place and redeem CashToken Futures will also be flat fee (probably in the range of a few hundred stats) as determined by the size of the contract.

Unwinding Worthless Future Vestiges.

Circular collateral loops that print money against inflated future valuations can be bad, but they can also be incredibly stable—til they're not.
If someone takes out a loan against their home to purchase a second home (for rental income), that situation is stable (for the person with two homes) as long housing is scarce. As long as society has structurally unfulfilled housing demand, the party that "looped" their collateral does very well. It's bad for people with zero houses, but custody of assets and managing them is half the scam.
On a micro-scale, the person with two homes becomes incentivized to want bad things for society as a whole.
Zooming way out to a global scale, the biggest futures ponzi is the $1.5Q of collateralized energy reserves. Money is borrowed against proven energy reserves and then invested to create a world where that energy has a captured guaranteed market.
So there was always lots of financing available for people to buy poorly insulated houses and five ton cars with boxes on the back. There was bond market for the US to occupy the 'Saudi Arabia of lithium' for 20 years. Generally, a lot of the intractable problems faced in the US, and the world, are incentivized by this malfeasance feedback loop.
For bitcoin, there was ample petrodollar credit available to relocate sha256 miners to consume America's largest energy reserve. Futures on the Chicago Mercantile exchange broadcasted to miners what the future price of LNG and BTC would be. Miners helped create a price for LNG that supported the inflated reserve valuations. And VERY REAL T-bills were always ready to print dollar tokens to re-up the fiat price of BTC when necessary. Punters flooding into the ETF then ate all the offloaded risk.
So it was a three legged futures scam between LNG, dollars and BTC, but it was all just orchestrated manipulation and ran for about five years.
It's OVER now, because the $1.5Q of global energy reserves is NO LONGER WORTH a quadrillion and a half dollars, because fossil fuels aren't the cheapest source of energy. The entire energy market has been undercut by solar from China―by a lot. And a billion people know it.
Further, a trillion dollars of lithium is just one one thousandth of a quadrillion, but if a billion people each get a thousand dollars of lithium battery, it's a revolution―and it's well underway in China. They didn't just get Afghanistan's reserves, they secured about half the worlds lithium in the last five years.
So the crypto market maker can take a billion dollars in t-bills and order up another billion dollar tokens. They can factor in the cold snap in Texas to April delivery at Henry Hub. The CME BTC Futures desk can broadcast a ever frothier forecast. But the music has stopped, Henry Kissinger is dead. And it's the year of the dragon.
The petrofacist cucks working for "healthcare" at Coinbase can make their little futures contracts, but it's a far cry from anything that will make their futures any better.

I’ve been hit, pushed, punched in the face, thrown around for hours while trying to deescalate a situation, put in a headlock while holding our baby over him texting a coworker (he got so angry when I called this strangulation- but it felt like it to me because I couldn’t breathe). He cheated on me when I was pregnant- that was years ago. More recently, he made fake profiles on multiple websites and spent our money on porn. After that, he changed his computer password and I just stopped looking at his phone because I knew what he was doing and it was easier to ignore it to keep the peace. He withheld money from me and would never get a joint bank account with me during our entire marriage. He broke my things, mostly smashing my phones when he was abusing me so that I couldn’t call for help. But also the $8k screen in my car, the leather seat in my car, and keyed my car. While I was crying and asking him to stop because I couldn’t afford it. He dumped a drink on my head. He spit in my face multiple times. He would lie to the police as soon as they got there, his family, everyone.
I was never enough for him sexually. I loved the “regular” sex we had. He did too at first. He always wanted more. Anal sex, pegging. A big example, he wanted to watch me have sex with another man (cucking). And he brought that up A LOT. I didn’t know if I could do it or not. I knew I wouldn’t be comfortable doing it sober, but I could probably do it drunk. We got home and the sexual mood I was in previously was gone because he cussed me out the whole way home. I asked him to sleep in the other room, he didn’t, the next thing I know, he was on top of me vaginally & trying anally too. I was talking sexually to him earlier in the night. This is the night he got arrested. In court, he brought up me being raped as a child that I told him in confidence and made me look like a liar. In front of my parents who I never told. It was the most humiliated, embarrassed, disgusted that I’ve ever been. At that point, I felt like he had never had any real love for me.
I have slapped him in the face before and he loves to remind me of that. I have definitely said the most hurtful things you can think of, cussed him out, called him names, screamed, etc. I do not know how to communicate effectively - I was raised by parents who screamed at each other and threw things (I know these are patterns I will spend the rest of my life unlearning). I have broken his things too, I smashed his computer screen in the beggining of our relationship years ago because he would stonewall me while gaming and know I was crying pregnant in the next room and didn’t care. It’s not an excuse, I do feel like an idiot for how I used to act in anger. I also texted another man when he filed for divorce the first time (after I left when he put me in a headlock). But it’s like I spent years begging for stability and change and never got it. I went back to him so many times and tried to be better and I failed, because the violence always happened again.
Now he says that it was from an adderal addiction and that there are hundreds of stories online about people who have done the same things. I believed him, last week he finally told me he knew he wasn’t a good husband to me and wanted to be better. What I always wanted to hear. A few days later, he changed his mind and says he can’t trust me because I’m working out of state and “acting single” by not wearing my ring. Did he just manipulate me so that he wouldn’t have sexual assault charges against him? How could someone fake those emotions?
Am I the abuser? The enabler? Did things escalate because of me? Did I make him feel like he had to be violent with me? Can two people both be abusive to each other? Could counseling and being sober help us to be better together for our children?
Please be honest and tell me like it is. If I’m the problem, I don’t want to keep repeating my mistakes.

Illusionist
Your power as an illusionist is manipulative and misleading. Practitioners of this school are of questionable morals. By some deeper definition their practice profits off of the unaware; and so the unwilling.
Bards try to worm their way into the schooling, obviously. But manipulation by practice, over charm, has a vast difference in both approach and resolve.
Bards tell others what they want to hear and in return they are told what their target wants to say.
Illusionists tell others whatever they want and the target confesses whatever the caster wants them to say. The dreams and dancing images are just flourish at that point.

Compulsive Yarn
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 5 ft

Duration: Concentration, for the duration of the gossip
Outside of combat, you tell a lie to an unprovoked target (Save Int.). Upon a success they will immediately believe you but the magic of such a spell will reply in full to the provocation. The target’s inquisitiveness for detail will escalate your lie in response until it pushes them into action.
As they interrogate you, against your will, you will exaggerate your fiction for each response. Continuing until the target can no longer listen and acts upon their present emotion.
After the spell ends, though you know it is a falsehood, you are unable to dissuade the target of their conviction. And the target will believe the lie as one has faith in a God.
If the target fails their save with a 1 or a 2 your lies shift reality and become truth.

Real Eyes/Realize/Real Lies -

Duration: Concentration, 1 minute
As a reaction, create a convincing hallucination for a single target. Though not illusion, illusionists like to lie and will favor such weak magicks if proven profitable.
Hallucinations are distorted reflections of tendency. You cannot create a hallucination on your own. You may only manipulate the cognition of your target into a relative presence. Hallucinations stem from desire, expectation and in rarer instances, hope. Your hallucination is a reflection of your target’s current target emotion. So set the stage carefully.
For the duration of the hallucination, you are an antenna for the target’s inner turmoil. The hallucination has no limit to its size, smell, speed, shape, sound or color. Whether they’ve chosen love, fear, comedy or revulsion you must remain quiet and present as your magic echoes back the interaction.
Regardless of the limitless potential, you may only present a mirage before your target that can be of reason. (e.g. Dogs only bark, Dragons will not breathe cotton, Mogwais must be naked during a rainstorm.) If the mirage lacks sense or causes too much surprise it will shatter. (Wis. Sav.)
Your movement, sound and irrelative influence can dissolve the hallucination with ease. So play the part as a veteran actor to support the facade. Maintaining the illusion requires your action each turn. Such is the fragility of this weak magick.
The only damage your target may suffer from this trickery is self-imposed.

Words of Love, Weaponized -
Casting Time: 1 reaction

Components: V, S, M
Duration: 8 hours
As your target succeeds in any endeavor they soften to words of encouragement. Regardless of alignment, cheers and applause will reach their ears and strengthen their poise.
For each successful attack, skill or save your opponent attempts you may offer affirmations that bolster their position. (Int./Wis./Cha. Save based upon affirmation offered) What better way to manipulate another than from a place of patronage? Doing so provides you a position to one up the element of which they are most confident. Sword, speech and sagacity take form within yourself to bury your target in second place.
You are only able to manipulate them with these magicks if you are not their focus.
Any encouragement offered bolsters the target, whether or not they succeed in the save, by +1 (up to a max. of +2) towards their most advantageous ability score. Only if their save is successful will your matching ability score rise to meet, and then exceed your target’s by +1.
Once accomplished you then wield the weapon or words of your opponent but better in every way. Though, of course, none of these things are true nor exist. (Your newfound armory or casting abilities are made from unsound magical energy; +1 to each application thereof. If your ability score increase also increases the modifier, than apply a +2 for the duration)
You are actually babbling nonsense, hiding behind loose wheels and waving dry sticks about.
You are taunting their ego. You are no swordsman, magister or loud celebrity. All of your attacks translate to psychic dmg. as your target competes more with their self-pride than with you.
You may only affect the target of your spell. You must recast this for each additional target. Upon each success your spell becomes a folie a deux/trois/quatre etc. and all created weapons/abilities affect all parties.

Spread Light -

Range: Target
Components: M, S (breath warm air on the surface and draw a smiley face with your finger -or- spit in the water and smile wide into the rippling current, showing teeth)
Duration: Minutes equal to your Int. Mod. halved
There are two ways to do so in this world. Spread light that is. Be the candle that creates it or the mirror that reflects it.
Choose a target and summon their reflection from any surface that allows it(e.g. windows, mirrors, stillwater, polished silverware)
Reflections are not inversions nor are they opposites. Consider this summon parallel but equally capable in all aspects.
Their “reflection” is no such thing. They are their own thing. From a world very much, but not at all, like yours. If your target is antagonistic then the one behind the reflection is your ally. If your target is neutral then the stranger to this land may be manipulated.
In their core, as they pass through the barrier, something intrinsic within them will look to replace the one for which you summoned them. It will only take a matter of minutes equal to half of your Int. modifier before doing so. If not through aggression then through the fragile laws of the universe where two may not exist where there should be one. Remember that you summoned no opposite. You purposely crossed parallels.
This figure is equal and knowledgeable in all aspects as your target. Except for the fact they are intangible (They’re “becoming” of their other self will cure this). They cannot be unsummoned. The door you opened for them must be shut, and the lock shattered, to properly dismiss them. Boil the glass, boil the water, melt the silverware.
The true strangeness is found in that once “they” replace “yours”, then they become “it”, and “it” becomes something disquieting. No recorded text bears greater explanation. Shut the door as soon as possible.

Chimera Nightmares -
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 ft

Duration: Concentration, 1 minute
With sweet talk and an old fish hook you cast your magical line into your target’s psyche.
The material body you leave behind is unconscious and in a state of suspended animation; it doesn’t need food or air and doesn’t age. While casting, you are standing with your eyes rolled back into your head and jaw agape. Your body mimes the motions of fishing with rod and reel as you penetrate the mind of your target.
Your target automatically takes 1d6 psychic dmg. as you leave your foot and fingerprints on their mind.
You leave a terrible, terrible beauty that you do not understand in a vacant corner of your target’s mind. It will suffer the nightmare and forever be most afraid of your gift. The target must succeed on an Cha./Int. Save or fall prone, sobbing, becoming incapacitated and unable to stand up for the duration. A creature with an Intelligence score of 4 or less isn’t affected.
At the end of each of its turns, and each time it takes damage, the target can make an Cha./Int. Save. The target has advantage on the saving throw if it’s triggered by damage. On a success, the pathetic sobbing ends.
The nightmare manifests itself as an insane illusion for all present to witness. (Cha./Int. Save or those within 120ft of the illusion must flee)
Your somatic movements reveal you to be a composer, less so a fisherman.
You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
At Higher Levels: When cast with a higher level spell slot the damage increases equal to your Cha./Int. Mod. for each slot used.

Instead of a semi-existent horror set upon your foes, you instead choose to endow them with stained glass goggles. You choose a color to coat yourself and your allies in from head to toe. Your environment is then coated in a color chosen randomly from a d6. (from 1 to 6 as listed: ROYGBIV. There’s only six listed. If you see seven, you are a fool, and unable to wield such powerful magic responsibly)
Nature and culture are their own beasts and you cannot control them.
Thus, you may change the color of yourself and an amount of targets equal to your Int. mod. As you and the room inevitably will disagree on what wardrobe to match.
As the spell originates from you, you will leave a Hiroshima shadow upon your targets where the surface environment will remain unpainted. You have advantage on stealth checks within the painted range.
Within reach all clocks will stop, all roosters will croak(die) and all frogs will scream at sunrise gargling acrylic. Pray that the conversation of rain doesn't come your way. As these colors bleed just under the mention. Eliminating the illusion altogether.
Keep a dagger of every color in your backpack if you have the space.

Duration: Between Long Rests (or 16 hours, whichever comes first)
Cast this the night before and awaken with the appearance of one you’ve met previously. You need only have learned their name previously for this to work almost the way you want it to. Names are worth much to the right magicks.
In addition to their appearance you will also acquire their minor characteristics such as a lisp, a limp, figures of speech, turn ons, favorite foods, sense of humor and any other aspects that makes someone say “oh my gosh, that’s so totally you”.
The family, friends and acquaintances of your assumed identity will automatically believe you to be them. Though this new found identity does not come with the memories. But sight or contact of meaningful places and objects, respectively, can spark a remembrance or two.
Long ago, the universe assigned you your place. So for you to take another’s leaves few places for who you were to wind up. Really it leaves only one place. You know what I’m getting at.
Pray they handle their position calmly. Any aesthetic damage done to them will return to you the same. You won't feel it but you’ll have to live with it.

The spells we cast, explosions and roundabouts, whistlin’ dixies and the such are just adding to the distractions. Further distancing ourselves from what truly is.
Casting this spell removes all illusion. All perspectives. All lies. You bestow yourself with something akin to Truesight but even more penetrating. Impervious to dispel.
As hidden doors are revealed. Portals to other worlds uncovered. Secret code deciphered. The world, its people, their songs and their faces all turn gray. All share one voice. All share one face. You cannot decipher enemy from friend. Even if one of them is sitting, sleeping or dancing you will only ever see them as standing still. Droning monotone removes all tones of implication. Their faces mold to no emotion. Barely moving when speaking.
All weapons and armor become gray 8.5 x 11 lineless parchment. Your belt is riddled with sly stacks of it. Your rations of parchment sit folded in an envelope of the same but, when removed, show no crease. Have no taste.
Which side is good in war is lost when indistinguishable gray forms swing in unbearable slow motion with loose paper at each other’s cheeks. These 10 minutes will age you one year.

Any psychic attempts to trace you in this state will fail, regardless of proximity.
Any and all powers that track and aim will lose target and spiral into self destruction if you are in this state of unseen.
If these things cannot recognize you then do you even exist? Save on every score against yourself. If you succeed on half or more then all accomplishments in this state are unknown. You are as you are and as you always have been.
If you fail, then what are we even talking about? What is there to mourn? How long have I been talking to myself? I am loved and desired. I am a provider. I am skillful and an example to lead by. I am known. And I am talking to myself about no one or nothing. And now I am going home.

Bastard Side - a dagger that may act as a handle to a trapdoor teleporting you to another door, window or container (you can fit in) within 120ft. It must be stuck into a crafted surface or vessel to work. For that what these things were made for, to make life easier. Nature was made for no one and will reject such magic. It wants you to work to connect such a distance on your own.
Cheese Platter - a reflective silver platter used to pass hor d'oeuvres. It doesn't smudge or get dirty. When looked upon it shows you clean and without scar. Nor does make up appear if any is applied. The Moon is always full if reflected. Nobody knows why it does this. Occasionally the moon will bare her chest in reply and bask in her own reflection. Nobody knows why she does this. Clouds disperse and her light illuminates all stages.
Ticket Taker Tuftin - a marionette with an intimidating mustache and formal wear that implies some level of esteem and jurisdiction. The hat is removable, the mustache is not. Their hands are carved crooks and do not open to remove the stamp and pad held in them.
Tuftin can be courted in any situation and will automatically override low level administration/bureaucratic process and carry established rank over looser organizations such as frat houses and gangs. Tuftin can never lead, he requires management and quarterly review. He prefers it that way.
His charisma is better than yours by 1. He will not have to make any checks against those lower in standing than himself. Street soldiers will report profit and territorial disputes. Pledges will beg to be slapped on the ass, like a mule, and then beg for another. The unhoused will always ask him for money as he seems well off, for Ticket Taker Tuftin is clearly a man of status.
His voice is his own but it does require you to be able to speak. You won't be speaking, certainly, he will speak for himself. But you at least need to posture yourself for a reply if need be. Which there won't be. So don't worry. But if you are unable to, by some off-chance, Tuftin will refuse to speak as well. Solidarity between working men, brother.

There's a pervasive feeling of impending doom among everyone in the West Bank. The persecution of the ethnic Armenian community continues as well. It's a foregone conclusion that Biden and Netanyahu have everyone marked for death and it's a matter of when not if. Not much of anything in the media here about what Zionazis are doing to ethnic Armenians. But this is understandable since western media serves as PR for the Nazi regime and the crimes that it and Biden commit together. The hubs and I are increasingly having conversations about immigrating from the U.S to elsewhere and one of the countries that always makes to top of the list in terms of checking certain boxes for us has a language barrier. Hubs isn't interested in anywhere w/a language barrier unless we're looking at a life & death scenario or Loving V Virginia is struck down. I don't blame him and thankfully we aren't there yet. There's also the problem of 2 perspective countries being Islands and climate change makes both places a no-no even tho they check the right boxes for us in other ways. The house would be easy to sell but the bunker cost an obscene amount of money and I seriously doubt there's a way to reasonably unload that. So this is a factor too. Well, sort of. We both know it won't be safe here over the long term but haven't quite worked out what to do about it. I really don't think immigrating anywhere will be feasible even tho it's nice to think about. So in all likelihood, we'll have to remain on the Titanic for a long list of reasons. Like many others, when things go the way we know they're going, hiding will be the only option. This carries it's own set of risks as well bcz of my health issues. The good news is I've been functional again. So we've been going really hard getting everything into the bunker and other preps. Soon we'll take the cats and the dog there so they get used to it. But we're not quite there yet. Haven't been able to sleep much so I'm gonna be a zombie today. Oh yay😂Gonna be a tons of caffeine kind of day. So far my fam in the West Bank are ok and I'm thankful for this. But everyone knows it won't stay that way. I think having your life threatened by evil tends to make ppl defiant tho. I know that's how it would make me. It's not that I wouldn't be scared to death, I just would never give Nazis the satisfaction of seeing it.

I know that we don’t like to break the fourth wall over here and prefer to immerse ourselves in the competitive valorant universe (as if it were real) but I think now would be a good time to discuss how the script and storytelling has been so far this season.
Americas
Starting off with Americas, the biggest storyline has to be the revival of Sentinels. For whatever reason, after Masters Reykjavík 2021, script writers seemed to have cooled down on Sentinels but it looks like fan pressure made them go back on that decision. LOUD continues to have a strong script. They advertised two teams (NRG and Leviatán) as super teams but made them both lose to Sentinels, we’ll see if their script gets better from here on out for both of them. The EG storyline seems to be a mess as they decided to run a corporate angle to break up the team and then decided that none of them will qualify to Masters Madrid, denting some of the momentum from their 2023 storyline. Other teams were written as you’d expect them to be, apart from a slight uptick by MIBR but we’ll see if it leads to anything.
EMEA
While in Americas the theme seems to be revival, in EMEA, they've gone for a completely different script, booking the new boys (KC and TH) to win over the old reliable workers (FNC and NAVI). Karmine Corp have been handed the redemption storyline after a meme season last year. Through their success, they’ve also built up the tier 2 storyline (marteen and tomaszy) and the NA import storyline (N4RRATE). Interestingly, they seem to have continued with the storyline of Heretics being corporate darlings (the benjyfishy sub last year and the RieNs online story this year). I think they are building Heretics up to be the next villain of sorts in the scene. NAVI got ardiis back but seem to have been stuck in a limbo creatively, no new storylines for them. Fnatic were surprisingly written out of the Madrid event, whether this was a one-off thing or a longer-term disinterest in establishing the superteam remains to be seen. Pacific
Script writers seem to finally be bored of the same PRX-DRX story (fucking finally) and gave us a new champion in Gen.G. They reused the Lakia and solo vs Vision Strikers storyline but I don’t mind it all that much personally. Paper Rex still look decent after Jinggg’s farewell storyline was cucked for the EG fairytale storyline last year (still mad about that). The other interesting thing in Pacific was how strongly the NA imports (Rossy and Governor) were written. These two along with N4RRATE seem to indicate to me that the script writers are planning something big for NA in the coming events. On the other hand, yay is shown to continue his struggles after being touted as the best player once. Former top players are written down all the time, whether he will bounce back (like TenZ) or fade away (like nieSoW) remains to be seen. Lastly, DFM still remain winless, we’ll see if and when script writers decide to give them their first big win.
CN
China script is a big mess right now. Apart from EDG being the top dogs, nothing else seems to be working for them. FPX are fine but nobody really expects them to do much. They gave JDG (Rare Atom) a really strong storyline in Evolution Series only to give them the Apeks treatment and then made them look really poor in the Kickoff event. This is very confusing as it undoes the months of work they put in building up these characters. The other big fumble is BLG, after giving them two clean wins over NRG last year, script writers have done nothing with the momentum that BLG built up and have let it all fizzle out. Absolute waste of those two upset wins. Let’s hope storytelling picks up after Masters Madrid for this region.
Conclusion
Script writers have banked heavily on previous successful storylines (TenZ, ENGH, DRX core missing out). Tier 2 NA has also been portrayed as very strong (JohnQT, N4RRATE, Rossy etc). Other than that, I personally dislike the heavy amount of fan-pandering by writing all of the popular teams (SEN, LOUD, EDG, KC, TH etc) into Madrid. I kind of liked it when we used to get unexpected winners (like Acend). What do you all think? What storylines do you wish to see the script-writers pursue in 2024?

I’m also middle eastern and Muslim/exmuslim. Ofc I think many are aware of the current situation in Palestine-Israel and the atrocities committed.
Ironically, up until Oct 7th, I was actually somewhat of an Israeli sympathizer. And it does make sense. I’m gay/trans, leftist, and also Muslim and Arabic. I don’t think I need to explain the fcking bullshit that I face from my own community cus of being so. So yes, I’m not ashamed to admit I was an Israeli sympathizer. And to think that what happened to Oct 7th should’ve fueled it, but no.
My family are Muslims but an outlier. We’re significantly more liberal, open minded, etc. and I always questioned that cus I grew up around other Arabs like Syrians, Lebanese, Saudis, etc. and especially other Egyptian which I am, and they were mega more radically Islamic than my family. We’re def ‘westernized’. Growing up Arabs told me cus I’m from Alexandria, which is generally unlike Cairo. Alexandria was more culturally western, when I’d visit Alexandria growing up, we had neighbors, friends and relatives who were of Chechen, Circassian, Armenian, origins, etc. and my mom’s half side of the family is Shia and from Iran, who are much MUCH more Islamist than Sunnis, which makes Shias hate Islam altogether. Particularly and mostly those who left Iran.
We have family in Gaza. And a couple in the West Bank, and we have a lot of family friends in Israel. There’s a lot of Arabs in ‘Israel’. Lol. After Oct 7th, I’ve never witnessed my family in such a mental breakdown EVER. We are in the US. We can’t do fkcing anything.
