I am now older (43f) and wiser and far more subtle in my petty revenge ...but, at this time? I was younger (21) angry, petty, spurred on my an equally petty friend (22f then), and he deserved it.
I had a get together for Halloween with a few friends. It was the usual early 20s social situation with drinks, cards and tequila shots. (I know... I know.)
A guy I had previously had a fling with (truly nothing serious--he was just tall, cute as all hell and had adorable dimples but our personalities didn't mesh) was invited as a friend. No big deal.
Card game turned into Texas Hold Em and bizarre dares after you were out of poker chips. My "ex" was losing BADLY. What started as us daring him to strip somehow escalated to him running outside, nude and in 2 feet of snow, to the pond behind the apartment buildings to acquire a cup of water... and then escalated to him going, in VERY sloppy drag, to the grocery store to buy an eggplant, lube, and condoms.
Now... this is all ridiculous already. (Tequila is a bad decision, kids!) A truly memorable but insane night that can ONLY be survived or created in your early 20s.
My friend (who spurred me on) and him began flirting and things escalated a bit between them. There were photos of him in drag taken, and photos of him with my friend as well.
They made plans to see a movie a couple days later after a few calls...
He never showed up and then ghosted her.
Could we have blown it off and moved on?
Absolutely.
Did we?
Hell freaking no.
We did a bit of online stalking and found out he not only HAD A GIRLFRIEND but was LIVING with her! (Where do these people find the time for this... and how do you NOT ask questions when your man doesn't come home?!)
We hatched a plan.
We took the photos and printed them... of him in drag flirting with my friend, nude with the cup, and doing lap dances on guys in drag.
We sent them, 1 by 1 in an order telling a story... every other day... by mail... to his girlfriend.
Did we stop there?
HELL NO.
We signed him up for drag clothing catalogs and sex toys created especially for gay men. We sent him about $200 worth of the ost bizarre "eggplant" items we could find including straws, a hat that sort of resembled a punishment shaped Pope hat, etc.
After 2 weeks of those packages... that we made sure would be delivered when HE was gone and SHE was home (bit addressed to him and, in quotes, his goofy name from that night) we did 1 more thing...
20 lbs of the most powder fine glitter we could find in a glitter bomb.
She dumped him within a month... and he's a cheater to this day in his relationships.
The lesson?
Don't cheat... and don't piss off 2 petty women at the same time.

1) Captain America is very political. He is a New Deal democrat, who is hurt to see how his government has been infiltrated. This is not something we see in the movies, other than some vague references to WW2. He is for the common people and the American dream. His motivation is carrying on the spirit of the founders. This is a clear, well-defined motivation in the comics. In the movies, all we know is that he hates how SHEILD is evil. That’s it? No commentary on how big billionaires are running the country and how poverty is ruling the states? No commentary on how there are basically no more truly patriotic citizens left in America? This is bare minimum.
2) Captain America realistically should’ve served as a father figure to Spider-Man, in the same way as Tony. Spider-Man has the highest level of respect for Cap, and he thinks of Tony as kinda a douchebag billionaire. They based their entire MCU relationship on the Civil War arc, which is such a weird decision to make.
3) Nomad was so underwhelming. In the comics, Nixon was so bad a president that Cap decided to abandon his identity and become Nomad. He mirrored the same sentiments of the vast majority of Americans. It’s truly one of the most heartbreaking moments in comicbook history. And his return to Cap was so satisfying.
In the MCU, why exactly is he wearing the Stars and Stripes again? Did Thanos’s snap suddenly make Steve regain patriotism in his country?
4) There’s no scene of Cap admiring how far America has come. No scene of his learning about MLK, no scene of him learning about Apollo 11, no scene of him giving remarks on how his old pal General Eisenhower built the highway ststem…Oh, but they instead show that he has a list of movies to watch. Yeah, I guess it’s really important that the audience knows that he watched Star Wars.
5) Steve is never shown interacting with plain people, as Captain America. I think this is really unfortunate. The closest we get are those super duper funny gym videos in Homecoming, where Cap obviously doesn’t want to be there. How about a scene of him giving a genuine lesson on American History? How about a scene of him simply being a good person and talking to a firefighter?
Steve is the kind of person to visit a senior home for veterans and talk for hours and share stories. That’s what I consider cool. But sure, a super duper badass Commando scene of him being James Bond and doing karate is what the average audience wants to see. They don’t want a movie that inspires patriotism, they want to see a Rambo flick

I did some reading here this weekend about permanently disabling the Telematic Control Unit (TCU) in my 2021 Mazda 3 and wanted to share my experience for others interested in doing the same.
Yesterday, 05/12/2024, I unenrolled my vehicle from Connected Services and deleted my profile via the app.
Today, 05/13/2024, I called Mazda customer service after reading the following paragraph on Mazda's privacy policy website here:
"IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DISABLE OUR COLLECTION OF DEFAULT DATA FROM YOUR CONNECTED VEHICLE REGARDLESS OF MODEL YEAR, PLEASE CONTACT OUR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE CENTER AT 1-800-222-5500."
The customer service representative I spoke with was extremely unhelpful. When I asked about permanently disabling the TCU, he questioned me several times as to why I would want to do so in the first place, stating it was used for diagnostics, to track my car if it was stolen, helps Mazda with R&D, etc etc. When I made it known I was aware of what disabling the TCU does and wished to proceed, he attempted to walk me through unenrolling from Connected Services. I informed him I'd already done so and asked for confirmation that this was what permanently disabled the TCU and he said it was. I knew better, but was at work at the time and couldn't go back and forth anymore. Even with Connected Services unenrolled, the vehicle is still collecting the following data:
“Driving Data”: driving behavior data, which includes the acceleration and speed at which your Connected Vehicle is driven and use of the steering and braking functions in your Connected Vehicle (Driving Data is collected for each driving trip and transmitted at each Ignition Off); and

• “Vehicle Health Data”: includes Vehicle Identification Number (VIN); odometer, fuel level, and oil life readings; Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs); and data from the Connected Vehicle’s OBD system (“OBD Data”). OBD Data includes, but is not limited to, engine coolant temperature, fuel injection volume, engine Rotation Per Minute (RPM), and the status of doors, hood, trunk, and hazard lights (Vehicle Health Data is transmitted at each Ignition-Off).

Note: Model Year 2019 – 2021 Mazda3 and Model Year 2020 – 2021 CX-30 vehicles collect geo-location coordinates of the Connected Vehicle’s latitude and longitude each time the Connected Vehicle is turned off as Default Data.
I called back later and spoke to another representative who attempted to have them permanently disable the TCU again. The representative I spoke to was very nice, but didn't know what I was even asking for and had to "look it up." She gave me the same speal mentioned earlier, but finally agreed to go through with the process. Unfortunately, she instructed me to delete the vehicle from Connected Services and when asked several times if that disabled the TCU affirmed that it was.
This, again, didn't seem right, however I took her at her word and hung up. An hour later, I thought it would be wise to get it in writing that the TCU was disabled so I called back again. The third rep I spoke to was far more knowledgeable and confirmed my suspicion that my second call was unsuccessful. She, however, did know how to complete the process and said she would have to escalate to another representative who will call me back in 24-48 hours and will actually send the "kill" command to permanently disable the TCU once and for all.
It's baffling how many hoops I had to jump through to have this done. The fact I got three different answers, or maybe I'll say 2.5 since the second representative did try to help me, is slightly ridiculous. After what I read here and on other forums, however, I should've expected as much.
I hope this helps anyone else interested in disabling their vehicle's TCU. I read that dealers may be able to do it too, but since I only spoke to Mazda directly I can't confirm that.

I read a lot of posts here before and after my procedure and they helped me a lot. Thank you for sharing your stories! I wanted to share some bits of my experience, too. So maybe this can be useful to someone the way other stories were useful to me.

1. Recovery after LEEP

First of all, LEEP is a method and it can be used to get samples of a different sizes. So two people can have completely different recovery experience after the same procedure. For instance, some have a really tiny part of cervix taken, like 0,5 cm deep and 1cm in diameter. In my case, that was way bigger, almost 2,6 cm in diameter. Of course, the bigger the piece taken — the harder the recovery. In my case, it took 2,5 weeks before I felt totally fine and was not scared of lifting things and of spotting my clothes with blood. So don't compare yourself to others blindly.

1. The scab

That brown thing in the first few days is not a scab. That's a medicine used to stop your cervix from bleeding. The scab falls off in 10-14 days and most probably will cause some bleeding, like a period. I got really scared when that happen as I read posts here and thought that brown thing was a scab. But my doctor clarified this to me, so I share the answer I got. And yes, check the bleeding carefully: If it is less intense than 1 soaked pad/hour for at least 2 hours in a row — you are good.

1. Anesthesia

I had my LEEP done under general anesthesia and I was happy I did. To be honest, enough of anxiety for me. But this was not mine decision to make — my OB GYN insisted I have it this way, because this makes work more comfortable for her and because a piece they took from me was quite big.

1. Pathology/Histology

Mine came in a week with a call from my OB GYN, who said those scary words "adenocarcinoma" but then added "in situ" (AIS). That's "in situ" is a huge difference actually. It means, that this is basically stage 0 cancer, when you can count yourself very, very lucky because it hasn't spread any further. In my case, I also got positive margins for CIN3, which is not good and means that in any case I'd need to repeat a procedure. However, most of women will get their results all clear but if you like me got AIS + CIN3 results — consider looking at it from this angle. You are extremely lucky to catch it early. Really.

1. Protocol for AIS.

Soon after my results came, I had an appointment with the CYN ONC. Basically, the protocol is pretty straight forward in cases like this. The best option is total hysterectomy, that saves the ovaries so I won't go into menopause (I am 38). The second option, in a case I want preserve my fertility, is to have CKC and hope for the negative margins. In case they are not, the procedure is repeated until they are (hopefully, because in some cases they are not ecen after repeated CKCs). For each procedure, you need to recover for 6 weeks and then have it all repeated. After the negative margins achieved, you have to be under close medical attention and have your PAP smears every 6 months. After you are done with the children, you recommended to have your hysterectomy still as there is still a risk to have skipped lesions. Those are the two options in a cases like this.

1. Hysterectomy

I opted for hysterectomy because with the AIS there is a risk that deeper in the uterus there is another focal of AIS or more advanced cancer that can go unnoticed. This is why hysterectomy is the most reliable option. I don't have children and now I try to find my peace with the fact that I will never have (or I'll suddenly become very rich and realize a complicated scheme with my frozen eggs and a surrogate mother). That's sad and all, but at the same time, I feel lucky and grateful for that I have a possibility to have it diagnosed on time and to have the treatment. There are a lot of women in the world who don't have this luxury. I am lucky and super glad I had that PAP test done, that (hopefuly) saved me from the advanced cancer in the future.
This is my experience so far. My surgery is scheduled at the end of June. Two more periods and it's over. Of course, I feel sad and I still need to work it through with my psychotherapist. But I am telling myself that with uterus or without, I am beautiful, worthy, happy and I'll have a wonderful life. That's the goal. Now, fingers crossed for the easy surgery, good pathology results and quick recovery afterwards.

And I’m so excited for them to get to talk fully about part 1 and answer spoilery questions.

I know that I am not alone in being in a district that has a "minimum grade" policy. In our case it is a minimum 50 with a passing grade of 65. Like most districts, this is being sold as a way to "smooth out" grades to avoid an outlier grade like a 0 tanking someone's average to the degree that it is unrecoverable.
After some thought (and I'm sure I'm not the first person to think this) I realized that most insidious part of this policy.
Let's consider a scenario with two students. One student (student A) completed 0% of the work - they missed every assignment and did not engage with the lessons whatsoever. Another student (student B) did 52% of the work - they did about half the effort required for complete mastery. Let's assume the district has a "minimum 50" like we have.
How do you grade this fairly/appropriately?
Student A gets a 50 ->Gets the lowest grade possible Student B gets a 52 ->Gets the grade they earned, but wasted all but 2% effort doing anything. This results in the original output - both students fail and have to work to bring up their grade, but student A gets a much better deal for having done nothing at all.
Student A gets a 50 ->Gets the lowest grade possible Student B gets a 76 (+52% of range between 50 and 100) This results in some recognition for student B's effort in getting 52% of the work done, but it puts them in a C range where it normally would have been an F. Forcing grade inflation on students who never needed to "smooth the outliers" in the first place.
or some other approach?
If I were student B in scenario 1, I would feel like there was no point in trying anyway. In scenario 2 though, it would signal to parents and other people who use that data that the kid is more competent at a given subject than they actually are. In any event, it really creates a terrible situation for data transparency and accuracy.

I work at a Tier 3/4 store, so most days we're very busy. However it's been raining the past few days so luckily it was slow today for the most part. I was on drive thru today and it was starting to pick up after lunch. I was tending to lane 1 and they had 1 script ready and another in review status for an antibiotic that we needed to get ready. At the same time I was on the phone with a patient who had called prior regarding an insurance issue for their Vyvanse. I had to get my pharmacist to help cause I didn't understand how to navigate it. So with drive thru and the phone call whilst putting away cenfill, I was busy and getting a bit overwhelmed. But ofc, there's always that one person who feels entitled to being tended to ASAP and quickly. They pull up in lane 2 in a truck and automatically press the button even though they see me and the pharmacist in the window and a line of cars in lane 1. One of my coworkers answers the phone and tells them we'll be with them in a moment. They ring again after 3-5 minutes not being tended to because ofc I'm still trying to get lane 1's stuff together, and with antibiotic suspensions, it takes time since you have to mix them as well. So on the 2nd ring I don't remember who got to it as I was preoccupied. However as I'm ringing up lane 1, they ring AGAIN and this point I'm fed up and answer the call and told them I'll be with them shortly however if it's something you need right away you can come inside for it. I mightve said it harshly but I was already ticked because what makes you think that just because you come into an empty lane you're gonna get quick service. Obviously they left not shortly after which I could careless about but the whole interaction itself just reminded me why I dislike manning the drive thru. However despite that, today was really pleasant. Most likely attributed to the rain and less people coming thru pharmacy. We were actually able to get cenfill, pcp calls, and deletions done before those working the evening shift began to arrive.

Sorry for a possibly stupid question but I can't make sense of all the factors to consider:
I've started looking into the possiblity of buying my first house. I might have a possibility to get something without a mortgage if I withdrawal from my UniSaver (a sort of equivalent to KiwiSaver).

1. Am I correct that using UniSaver is better than taking a mortgage?
   
2. Assuming the answer to 1 is yes: I can withdraw what I actually need or go for 💯. I am very not sure I want to retire in NZ so this might be a rare opportunity to move the money.

I’m not looking for a direct answer, more of a hint as to what direction I should go in so I can continue to solve things myself. I’ve seen every chapter except the one held back, 8, so it’s not like I’ve missed a scene. I was having a ton of fun doing this but I’ve just gotten totally stuck.
I have solved 1-3, 6, 10-14, 18 & 19, 23-26, 31, 33, 35, 37-39, 42 & 42, 48 & 49, 51-54, 56. The game tells I have three easy ones at the moment (one triangle) which are 3-1, 5-4, 9-2.
I’m aware of the bunks in 2-1 and 7-2 and using that to get info. i’m pretty sure I know who did a couple of other things but since I’m missing the name of one person or the other and I can’t seem to find it I can’t actually enter it. And I don’t have enough correct put in to have another set of three verified. In fact when my last set of three was verified I thought I had at least two more that were done but obviously not.
I’m just not sure where I should be looking at this point to be able to figure out more. Can someone suggest where to look next?

I’m so desperate for help, advice, answers, experiences (anything!) from someone/anyone who may have experienced or is going through the same as me!
In March 2024, I had a horrible sore throat so naturally I went to get tested for strep, Covid, and the flu. My rapid test came back negative for all 3 and the next day I was completely back to feeling great. 3 days later I get a call that my strep culture came back positive but I wasn’t prescribed any antibiotics because I was symptom free.
Early April 2024 I very suddenly came down with a high fever and body aches (with no warning signs or any other cold symptoms). Got tested again, everything was negative and I was fine within 24 hours.
**1 week later on the tail end of my period I developed horrible vaginal pain and sensitivity to the point I couldn’t sit down. My vulva was so irritated that it became raw and was bleeding light pink externally. I went to a woman’s clinic where they swabbed me. took a urine culture, and prescribed me bactrim while we waited for the test results. The test came back positive for strep 2 days later and a very high count of white blood cells (the untreated strep from march travelled through my system south!!! Didn’t even know this was possible). That same day I ended up in the hospital for a fainting spell, confusion, and nausea. After more testing the doctor found that the antibiotic wasn’t treating the infection so he prescribed Keflex 4X/day for 7 days. By day 2 I was feeling so much better (vaginal pain and all other irritations were fully resolved!)
5/1/2024 (5 days after finishing the keflex) I woke up with a severe sore/swollen throat and tested positive for Strep throat AGAIN. Here goes round 2 of antibiotics, now prescribed cefdinir 2x/day for 10 days. 2 days in once again, feeling great and took the 10 days finally felt better than I had in 2 months. I finished the cefdinir this past Friday (it’s now Monday) ….
I got my period yesterday (Sunday) and it was extremely heavy, much heavier than usual. Accompanied by severe cramps. Today mid morning I developed the same exact vaginal symptoms I had before testing positive for vaginal strep A!! The same rawness, tender, swollen feeling all external. Just a pad touching the area is excruciating pain and I can’t even fathom using a tampon.
What could this be? Strep again?! pH imbalance from the 2 rounds of antibiotics?! The blood from my period being such a high pH?! As I’m writing this all out I’m wondering if my period last month is what trigged the symptoms of the vaginal strep.. the month between my periods my vagina was completely healthy and feeling fine! HELP!
(Ive been tested for STDs which have all come back negative. I’m in a monogamous relationship (for 8 years). He was tested for strep orally and the results were negative)

When solving a mystery, one has to make some assumptions if one wishes to go beyond a surface level solve attempt of From's mystery. Which effectively means, one must pick an answer to a clue one is fairly certain of, and use that as one might use a jigsaw piece to solve the next clue that connects to it.
For any interested, I share my opinion on what the key strands of clue clusters and the twisted threads therein that I believe need to be woven together into a narrative to form an origin story for Fromland and solve the show.
1. The first strand is historical figures from North American history (and the end of the War of the Roses), falling roughly on the dates on Tabitha's dream sequence. Some historical figures are given far more clues than others, suggesting they might later become characters on the show. In particular Caroline Dye's hoodoo magic, and Alma Hayes the strongwoman.
There are six threads in there as not every timeline will be explored in the series - the main ones are 1930s, 1880s, 1860s, 1770s, 1670s, and 1498.
1498 is by far the most prevalent and perhaps the easiest to start with. Most are from England and to a lesser extent, Italy/Venice, Scotland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, France, Burgundy, China, Iran, Iceland, Greenland/Newfoundland. It's also the best one to solve first, as the historical figures in the 1498 origin story are the archetypes that the historical figures in the other timelines mimic.
For example, I'm absolutely certain one is Richard Amerike - Sheriff of Bristol. There is a lawman/sheriff in every timeline - Boyd is the sheriff now.
Each new historical figure discovered in any timeline is a great puzzle piece. If you find out Emmett Kelly, the Hobo Clown is in the 1930s timeline, you can search for other "clowns" and discover Triboulet, the court jester in the 1498 origin story.
2. The second strand is the sequence of events in the origin story specifically. These clues are far more vague, and easier to explain what I mean by example.
Let's look at Kelly's head spiked to a tree with Boyd yanking it out instead of using the gun. The reasoning was: Kristi did not want Kelly to see or experience the gun, when Kelly is currently blind and the gun is a far better "experience" than the yanking. I contend this is quite a pointed clue that he's recreating a scene in the original timeline. In my opinion, a botched execution by a crossbow at a time where there were no guns to use.
There are threads within this strand. Two are practically strands of their own, with witch trial and torture methods and christmas / lent traditions from the countries of the various historical figures being the most prevalent. The traditions bit is a lot easier if you solve the origin story characters first, since you can then surmise which countries the traditions to look out for might come from.
3. The third strand is the mythology of the show. Ultimately, if one assumes North East Canada is where it all begins, you might make the leap it relates to the mythology related to that area. This has two main threads, the bogeyman, and the fairies. What I came to find were, there were clues pointing to practically every kind of bogeyman and fairy legend in that region. I was wondering if these were red herrings, or maybe it was all of them at once? It took me a long time to figure out what we're being asked to do here - but I figure there are 7 bogeymen and 4 fairy types the monsters and entity are mimicking, and a type of bogeyman and fairy that they really are.
4. Apotropaic magic - specific to the cunning folk of England. Witch's bottles and ladders, that sort of thing.
5. Medieval board and card games, as well as a few other adult medieval games, like stoolball. Main thread here is French tarot cards, but not their witchy meanings and connection to fortune telling, just the playing cards and what they look like. Other substantial threads involve Game of Goose and Pachisi.

( I POSTED EARLIER BUT NOT SURE I DID IT RIGHT, TRYING Again) SOOOO let me start off with, the reason I'm confused is bc it doesn't make any sense. SO A Month ago I had a Retreat RC with a tooth on top ( endo did the retreat) then I had a tooth pulled that already had a root canal/crown just last week ( last Wednesday), it was also a back top tooth#2, I have been doing salt Walter rinses amd finished my Antibiotics on Saturday. ( it was my 3rd round of Abx my 1st round Amixocillin 7 days was 2 weeks before my Retreat bc my dentist said it may have been a sinus infection bc xrays showed NO INFECTION, went to Endo he started the Retreat with a drain and put Medicine in and sealed it up put me on my (2nd Round Antibiotics ) Keflex for 7 days, then 3 weeks later went back to finish up Retreat root canal, everything went awesome, but he let me know that my back top tooth #2 which had crown/rootcanal was loose and had a crack he could see on the x ray but I had already had a bad taste coming from it which I had already told my dentist, and he said it looked fine and it was probably from the one that was being retreated which he had said that it didn't have any infection ( it was infected based on what endo said, but My Dentist informed me that Endos can see more bc of their equipment, although my Dentist done a xRay that went all away around my head and he had stated he could see everything) so I had called my Dentist to make an appointment to have crown took off to look at it, but then with rge Money adding up so quickly I said let's pull it bc Endo said by what he saw it probably needed pulled and he was correct, it was decayed pretty bad, it's been less than a week it was pulled, but before they pulled it 4 days before I was put on a (3rd round of Abx Amoxicillin 9 days, [it was for 10 days but dropped my bottle and 3 of my pills got soaked] ) went had #2 extracted so far so good, THEN THIS MORNING HAPPENS!!!! Getting to my question, so sorry.
So I brushed my teeth and I have been noticing that bottom tooth # 30 which has also had a root canal with a crown just a couple years ago by my Dentist, has been sensitive and been told that is normal and since I have had the top extraction just 5 days ago I have noticed it is sore maybe from the pressure of biting on guaze trying to get bleeding to stop from the extraction ( I was bleeding for 8 Hrs pretty heavy)I'm not sure, ANYWAY then I noticed a hard Bump that was the color of my skin it was just a Hard bump with NO white on it like a pimple, but it was hard so I called my Dentist they said to come in at 12PM only 3 hrs away, so I was in the car before going in and I pulled the side of my mouth to look at it and pulled tight and then I tasted a salty taste,, ( the pressure from pulling the skin to look at it must have popped it) didn't see anything but BUMP GOT SMALLER, as I'm walking into my Dentist, x ray was done with a visual exam , ( no tapping of teeth or cold/hot sensitivity test just visual and xRay) was glaced at for maybe 10 seconds when I showed him where a very tiny bump remained (bc my dumb butt had to look at it and mess with it before he looked at it, so it popped amd went down quickly)and he gets up takes gloves off and said no sign of infection , so I asked what it was and the taste I explained to him once again, he said IDK I see nothing, he then says maybe a Mucosa Gland but not sure bc nothing is there, I asked if he could see where it was leaking, he said no signs of infection, I remind him I was told the same when I did have infection when he sentt me to the endo. So I felt embarrassed and so stupid and felt so small bc I felt he just didn't believe me bc his tone, didn't even explain anything to me, so abt 6 hrs later it's coming back slowly, amd I called my detist office again to let them know the bump is returning amd sometimes I taste a salty taste,the office staff called me back amd said he said he could put me on anorher round of antibiotics( 4th round) just in case it is an infection or gum boil, or it may just be a mucosa cyst ( i thought cyst didnt drain?)I reminded them I had just finished a 9 day ABX ( my 3rd round) not even 48 hrs ago, then I told her I wanted to ask him questions bc I never had a " Abcess/ Gum Boil/Mucosa Cyst, but he literally was in that room with me MAYBE 1.5 MINUTES, she asked me what would I need to know, I then changed the subject amd asked what should I do going foward, Their Amswer since I'm" denying" My 4th round of Antibiotics within a month and a half was to see if it keeps coming back, maybe wait a month or so, touch base if any significant change and go from there. I asked if maybe I should go to an oral surgeon for them to glance at it. I was told no , I couldn't get a referral let's just wait and see, I explained to them if IF it's an infection I would take my 4th round of Antibiotics but he said it wasn't an infection this morning , amd I asked twice as he was walking out if he was sure it wasn't t an infection, he stated NO It isn't, then while walking down the hall I asked him one more time if he was sure it wasn't an infection he said NO, if it was am abcess it would show up on xray. He then stated real loud NOTHING NOTHING Is there and IF something Appears call us, I felt so small. But I did call, and I still have NO ANSWERS after paying $110.00 today for NOTHING!!!! I also have Crohns so being on alot of Antibiotics cam really mess me up, amd ir it's truly not an infection you don't need an Antibiotic, or so I thought. So I said and explained all that, to ask, is it possible to have a "Gum boil" without any infection? The hard Bump is not right under tooth #30, it's more over we're #29 ( but #29 is gone just empty space) so it's way down on gums Like where your inside cheeks go down and meet ur gums, I hope I'm explaining that right, anyway again it's not right up under tooth #30 I would say if #29 was there it would be under that tooth all the way down past gums where gums meets ur cheeks. ( when I'm home I may be able to get a picture to explain better) but again #30 has been sore and hurting off and on since extraction again I thought it was from me bitting down on that guaze all those hrs, I had alot of pressure on them, but before that I had explained to them that it was sensitive to sweets, amd some colds was told it was normal, so again here are my questions!!
What could it be if it isn't infection?
Should I get a 2nd opinion?
If it's an abcess , are abcess hard to leak out, does it take alot to pop am abcess? ( again there was no white pimple looking bump or any blood or pus that leaked out it was just clear n salty, amd the color of bump was the color of my gums)?
How fast do abcess fill back up if it's an infection amd would it hurt and could u see where it leaked or popped fluid from? Would it look like a sore after it pops? ( mine hasn't filled all the way up as it was this morning but i can tell it's coming back, it's slow.
Should I take another 4th round of Antibiotics without knowing it's a true infection?
I have spent $2,800 in the past Month and half, and I'm so scared I'm gonna have to lose another tooth bc I can't afford another Retreat, and I'm scared my dentist doesn't really care or maybe just doesn't know, but being told to wait it out, if it's am abcess wouldn't that be dangerous? I hope I explained amd to anyone that cares to explain anything to me abt what you think my Dentist is thinking please explain to me bc I don't even know. I'm starting to think about buying my first house and am trying to think through the pros/cons of being conservative versus willing to stretch the budget a bit for a great house. A major factor in this decision is how difficult it is (logistically, financially, etc.) to improve the house we buy. There are at least a few different kinds of "improvement" that could be relevant, such as:

1. Adding space. E.g. if we are in a 3 bedroom but then have 3 kids and they get old enough that it doesn't work well for them to share.
   
2. Updating appliances
   
3. Updating HVAC
   
4. Other things I might not have thought of
   

I'm sure the answers will partially depend on the specific house. But I'm young and naive and am just trying to get a ballpark answer on these to start. Thanks in advance.

Looking to build a home in Plain City and am currently looking at a standalone condo. For all intents and purposes, it is a house but lacks a basement. The neighborhood also features houses, outside of the condominium part of the community, and they include basements but are significantly more (about 80-100k.) I have two questions: 1. Will buying a condo without a basement in that area affect resell value? 2. More importantly, given that it’s in the country, I have reservations about it not having a basement due to tornadoes. Is that area known for touchdowns/dangerous weather? And would you buy a house in that area without a basement? Obviously there’s no right or wrong answer here but seeking feedback from those that are familiar with the area. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys,
First time kitten foster and I have 3 lil kittens at the 4-5 week mark, and 4 at the 1-2 week age group. They all got dropped off together on a friend’s porch last week, and I’ve taken over mom duty until they’re ready for adoption at 8 weeks.
I had no idea what I signed up for. Holy cow. But thank the Kitten Lady herself, after a ton of research and reading and trips to the rescue for hands on training, we are all THRIVING!!!
Until this morning. When the older cats started peeing and pooping on their own (hooray!!) right onto the little guys (come on…).
Big guys now have a separate enclosure, “litter box” (short cardboard box with kitten safe litter) and we are starting the weaning/litter training part of their growing up.
The questions I haven’t found answers to are:

1. How often or should I be stimulating the older cats to go since there are 3 of them and idk who is using the box?
   
2. Best way to present kitten mash (formula and kitten canned food)? I’ve tried 3 times on a salad plate, and left it down for an hour each time, but it’s just been used for walking in thus far, and attempts to use my finger to get it to their mouths have NOT been appreciated. We are still pretty exclusively eating from the bottle.
   

As a storyteller, how often should you be trying to change or break a group’s meta? I definitely enjoy seeing my group develop their own strategies and learning by playing (as opposed to me sharing strategies from streams and such). But I’m starting to wonder if I should adjust something for a specific meta that my group is developing.
Recently, I’ve noticed that my group is developing a very specific meta that is hindering evil quite a bit at the beginning of the game, especially against new players who have the misfortune of pulling evil their first game (which, no joke, has happened every game we’ve played in the last few weeks).
The go-to question that all good players will ask is “did you wake up last night?” Which is innocuous enough of a question that new players feel comfortable answering it. But without fail, every time this question is asked, the evil team (who again, is almost always the newest player) will get caught in a lie by answering before getting their bluffs from the demon, or answering it without understanding the ramifications of their answer on their bluff (i.e. a demon bluffing as empath saying no they didn’t wake up the first night).
I’ve tried combatting this by specifically mentioning wake up information during my rules run-down for new players (going as far as citing the wake up question as a common first day trap). I’ve also made a point to tell the group that I will be meeting with the new players at the start of day 1 to see if they have any questions about their characters before I even hand out characters, so players don’t try to meta me meeting with a player (I.e. “Oh, ST met with this new player, they must be the imp”). But even then, the question still gets asked of the other new player that is left in town square during my first meeting.
So I guess my question is, should I just let this meta naturally sort itself out? Or should I attempt to shift the meta, and if so, any suggestions on how? The main reason I’m leaning towards addressing it is the fact that it feels unfair to new players who inevitably pull evil their first game.

I know, very popular language to learn for proficiency, but I have a few questions regarding the Spanish proficiency exam if anyone can answer, please!

1. Did you feel that you had a good grasp of speaking Spanish before the exam, like you can speak freely without much trouble?
   
2. If you started learning Spanish at GTown, how many years of Spanish did you take before you felt comfortable taking the exam?
   
3. Do you need extensive vocabulary for the exam in order to pass (using phrases or words that relate to politics, cultural aspects, economy, etc.) or could you survive the exam with a standard vocabulary?
   
4. Did your test proctors ask difficult questions during the exam, were they strict on their grading or made sure you knew enough to pass the exam?
