My 3rd baby is due on August 7th. The room that is going to be his nursery is currently being used by a friend of my husband. This friend has taken care of my husband and been there for him in time of need before I came along. They have been best friends for a very long time. After he and his gf (mother of his child) broke up, he moved into our spare room in the end of February. I told my husband that as long as he is out by July, Iām fine with it. I enjoy his company and even though he doesnāt pay any rent (because he is helping pay his exās rent) he helps us A LOT with household duties/chores. He does the dishes 95% of the time, cleans the bathrooms, switches my laundry over, takes out trash, helps us with our kids if needed, buys groceries often, cooks for us sometimes, all without us ever asking him. However, Iām starting to get a lot of baby stuff. Iāve been stuffing everything in the closet in his room. I just entered my 3rd trimester and I'm starting to worry. I have a LONG list of things I still need to get done. I still have to have the baby shower, but I didnāt want to have it until after he moved out because once I get all the shower stuff, I have nowhere to put it all except in the spare room. Once I have the shower, I have to wash all the baby clothes, put them away, sanitize all bottles and Paciās, clear out a cabinet for them, go through and organize the nursery and find a spot for everything, put together the swing and whatever that will need to be built, and my husband was even talking about getting some different furniture in there and getting rid of the drawers we have. And I also still want to do a major deep clean of the house and reorganize our cabinets, pantry, and laundry room after he leaves. I still have to make a birth plan, pack a hospital bag, make padcycles, pre-make some meals that I can freeze, and the list goes on. Mind you, I work 40 hours a week, and donāt plan on taking off before the baby, plus I have a 5 and 7 year old. The only time I have to get all this stuff done is on the weekends. But then my husband told his friend that he didnāt have to worry about finding another place until the baby is due in AUGUST!
I tried to bring it up to my husband today, that we need AT LEAST a month before the baby is due to get all this stuff done (because thereās SO much to do and only the weekends to do it) and that he really needs to start looking for a place soon because I would like him out by July. This is my husbands first time having a baby because my last two children were from my previous partner. So he has no idea all the prep that goes into it. When I tried to explain everything that I still had to do, he said that I donāt need to worry about it or think about it. I came across someone's ocean house and I'm trying to recreate it. They stacked their gold piles in a funny way though, where it seems to float on top of ropes. You can see it in the top left corner of the house, in the attic. The gold just seems to hover over the ropes. I can't figure out how they did it. This build has used echo coating and actuators here and there, but I can't find a combo that's making that work.
Any idea? The gold falls through the rope, and I can't place platforms in a way that works (tried hammering them to the bottom or layering with the rope, didn't work). I am well and truly stumped. I'd message the person if they hadn't been MiA for like a year.

So I went to Walmart to get me a bigger water container as the one I have melts the ice too fast.. Anyways I went to the camping aisle at and I saw they had one last Frog Toggs Chilly Pad Cooling towel so I bought it.
I got to my usual spot, washed it out, then I soaked it in water and wringed it, I put it on my neck and maaaaan I wasnāt sweating and was pretty cooled down! I even placed my mini fan in front and it felt great!! I wasnāt sweating with this Az heat and was comfy! Canāt wait to use it after work again tomorrow!
Btw keep the container it comes in so you can place it back in there after use. It does get hard when it dries out, all u gotta do is just wet it at that point!

Alight, I know many of you are pretty burned out on balance discussions, but hear me out. I haven't seen anyone suggest this idea. I'll try to keep it brief.
A good deal of balancing decisions in HD2 so far have me thinking of tactical shooters: small weak points, unforgiving hits from enemies, constant nerfing of weapons (often described as being linked to exploits). And the treatment of primary weapons makes it feel like the devs have a very narrow idea of what each should do.
But HD2 isn't Counter Strike, or Valorant, or Splitgate for that matter. It's not all about finding that perfect angle around the corner to headshot somebody. It's not about careful and precise planning.
It's a lot more like Doom. Constant motion, a variety of enemies with exploitable weaknesses, a large arsenal of weapons, training instincts to survive a hectic and fast-paced battlefield.
So, devs, if you end up reading this, take a page out of Doom's book while you discuss the future of balancing this game.
Doom focuses on every weapon feeling powerful and useful. There are no replacements, every weapon is a unique and viable part of your arsenal. And they all do their jobs well, without being so strictly tuned to one job that they become restrictive. That last part is especially important.
To some degree, it feels like that's what you've been wanting to do. But, in practice, it hasn't been panning out. I feel like that's where the CS balancing mentality is getting in the way. Embrace when players surprise you with how they use weapons, focus more on each weapon feeling powerful in its role and still having a slight overlap with others. The wellroundedness will benefit the player base a ton.
Sure, Doom has a weapon mod system that isn't in HD2, but even without it you can use the first shotgun in the last level and it's actually helpful. So my argument stands.

Since i am used to playing 3 man midfield, i have gone for Alvarez, Simons and Reus as my attacking to support Kane in attack. So that i have them to help in defence also.
When i played 4-3-2-1 there was often players swapped position. Palacios would end up on left side, often far away from the trouble. So i had to run him home to cover.
Maby i will miss my three man midfield at times during WL, but playing in new formation also is inspiring.
I can say that Reus is different from last Season Fut. But i like this card very much.
You can rate my team if you want. I know there are areas that can improve.

Ladies, gents, other genders that if I donāt mention Iāll get crucified, welcome to the next thrilling post of the stereotype series! Now I know you are all skeletons right now because of how long the last one was, and the fact the last one was so poorly done, but hold onto whatever is left of you and keep up, as we are venturing into more 4 star units!
Ok so last time we stopped at zetton (I think)
Godzilla 2021: one of the few units I donāt have and canāt get anymore, this guy is up there with zetton as being one of the most useless kaiju ever. I remember back in the dark ages of kumo aug, this guy became actually useless. Thereās no point in running him because stun absolutely murders his one use. You may be thinking, āoh but raptors, he can kill any unit in seconds!!! Isnāt that good???????ā And yeah thatās trueā¦if that units alone and doesnāt insta kill you. Donāt use this guy, he sucks.
Kong 2021: heās Godzilla 1989, but a 4 star, deals less damage, and is overall worse in every way. Again, why would you use this guy? Outside of ābig monkeā I suppose.
Kiryu Kai(heavy arms type): KIRYU!? ME AND MY HOMIES HATE KIRY-(sees title) My apologies. Anyway this guy recently got a level boost, and the worst part is I donāt have him because Iām lazy! I notice people who use this tend to really, really, REALLY hate swarms or the chibi duo (we will get to them when we get to them, calm your tits) that, or he really hates seven costs (or earth)
Biollante (Wakasa Bay Ver.): remember when this thing was one of the most powerful units in the game because of a bug? Thatās was funny. Anyway to put this in terms battle line players will understand (that means you), Plant bad, plant spit acid, acid really bad, plant has henti tentacles, that super bad!
Godzilla 2002: so Toho did the epic troll and blue balled us with the GxK update. So instead of PANK we got this guy. Heās just your average high schooler who likes anime, be nice to him (or mean because anime is for nerds, unlike Tokusatsu which is for the coolest cool kids ever). Also something something, him being a better king ceasar.
Aqua Mothra: the other blue baller, with twice as much blue. Basically this thing is sonic or lightning macween (forgive me car mafia if I spelt out lord and saviors name wrong). It has a rapid machine gun on its face, and dies after 20 seconds, like a drug addict who found 400 pounds of booger sugar. heās kinda new so I canāt say much (then again this is longer than Kongās segment, who has been out since 2021), but heās already become a speedy little shit king thatās great for pissing people off (why are so many kaiju like that??)

I (29 f) am married. Iāve been with my partner (29 m) for 3 years. We have a good life together, I get to be a sahm and heās helping me with therapy, just genuinely no complaints. I literally manifested this man. But.. I can not get over an ex situationship, we will call him Greg (idk I think heās 30)lol.
Back story, in 2019 I went through a divorce, I followed Greg on insta as we were locals and had mutual friends. When I saw him I instantly had a school girl crush on this guy. We started liking each others posts and even matched on tinder. Nothing came of it as I think I started dating my hs best friend around that time so I got off tinder. Well fast forward to mid 2020, I was making content and I asked on insta if anybody wanted to collab with me so I could have some couples content instead of just solo. Greg messaged me and volunteered as tribute. I could not have been more excited. I would get to work with my crush. So we made the content together and we even hung out a little bit. I really felt like the vibes were good. Until he ghosted me. I realized that I may have bombarded him and I accepted that he ghosted me. 3 weeks later he messages me, gave me some excuse and at first I said no, but I genuinely liked making content with him because he actually knew what to record. So I went back but I never bombarded him again out of respect. And every time we hung out he would ghost me. So about 4 months go by with the back and forth. I was doing networking on tinder when I met my husband. I had no intentions of falling in love as my main focus was my daughter. I originally wanted a boyfriend who lived in their own home and we would just hang out when I had my ākid free daysā well Greg comes back a week into me dating my husband. And as tempting as it was I said no. I didnāt want Greg, I want my husband. 3 months later I find out Iām pregnant. Turns out I also was diagnosed with an std. I donāt know how long I had it so I messaged Greg, apologized and told him he should get tested. I went no contact after that. A few months go by and Greg asks me if Iām single. I had already told him I was pregnant and I blew up on him bc I didnāt want to be treated like an object. He subtweeted me and I found out from a mutual friend. Basically just saying I was some girl he used to fuck. Proving my point that he only wanted me for one thing. I messaged him to leave me alone and that I again didnāt want anything to do with him. Some time goes by and about 2022 Greg messaged me again. I told him that even if I were single I wouldnāt want to date him and he accepted it as it was.
So now itās the year 2023. I was just not in a good head space as me and my husband were having problems 6 months into our marriage and I reached out to Greg and told him that I missed him. He said he also missed me and that he believed in right person wrong time. That freaked me out so I told him I was still married and I ended up not talking to him again. Well then my husband and I were mid seperation and I from a distance would message Greg. We ended up meeting up at a concert and the whole time I kept thinking about how this was wrong and how I would do anything to fix the relationship with me and my husband. Nothing happened at the concert and I even invited him to hang out with us after the show. Still I kept a safe distance because I didnāt want to end up doing anything I would regret. So after the concert I ghosted Greg and I fixed the issues with me and my husband. At some point I wanted to go to a concert and I invited Greg to come with me mostly because I didnāt have a car and I just genuinely wanted to spend time with him as friends. So I messaged him and he agreed to go. But I end up feeling bad because I didnāt disclose that I was still married. I ended up telling Greg that I was married and he never replied so I apologized to him and told him Iād never reach out again. I blocked him on every single platform I could find.
So now itās been about 5 months since I blocked him and I am desperately trying to move on and forget about him. I am happily married and have the dream life that I want . But I often find myself thinking about Greg and even sneaking over to his profiles just to see how he is doing. My heart hurts because I no longer want to think of him this way and I want to be devoted to my husband. Heās given me everything I could have asked for. Dedication, trust, loyalty, support we are constantly holding each other up and helping each other with our growth. Iāve been ready to move on from Greg and put everything we had in the past. How do I just let him go? Iāve been thinking about doing a cord cutting. As much as it would hurt, it hurts more thinking about that I am thinking about another man while I have the most beautiful life. maybe I did it to myself by giving him a rose quartz around the first time we hung outā¦. What would you do?

Some time goes by and about 2022 Greg messaged me again. I told him that even if I were single I wouldnāt want to date him and he accepted it as it was.
So now itās the year 2023. I was just not in a good head space as me and my husband were having problems 6 months into our marriage and I reached out to Greg and told him that I missed him. He said he also missed me and that he believed in right person wrong time. That freaked me out so I told him I was still married and I ended up not talking to him again. Well then my husband and I were mid seperation and I from a distance would message Greg. We ended up meeting up at a concert and the whole time I kept thinking about how this was wrong and how I would do anything to fix the relationship with me and my husband. Nothing happened at the concert and I even invited him to hang out with us after the show. Still I kept a safe distance because I didnāt want to end up doing anything I would regret. So after the concert I ghosted Greg and I fixed the issues with me and my husband. At some point I wanted to go to a concert and I invited Greg to come with me mostly because I didnāt have a car and I just genuinely wanted to spend time with him as friends. So I messaged him and he agreed to go. But I end up feeling bad because I didnāt disclose that I was still married. I ended up telling Greg that I was married and he never replied so I apologized to him and told him Iād never reach out again. I blocked him on every single platform I could find.
So now itās been about 5 months since I blocked him and I am desperately trying to move on and forget about him. I am happily married and have the dream life that I want . But I often find myself thinking about Greg and even sneaking over to his profiles just to see how he is doing. My heart hurts because I no longer want to think of him this way and I want to be devoted to my husband. Heās given me everything I could have asked for. Dedication, trust, loyalty, support we are constantly holding each other up and helping each other with our growth. Iāve been ready to move on from Greg and put everything we had in the past. How do I just let him go? Iāve been thinking about doing a cord cutting. Plots ~ My usual plots are a slice of life with some twists. For example, a plot I've enjoyed in the past is a married couple trying to cope with famed lives and busy schedules. It sounds simple but I'm the kind of writer who will randomly introduce somber or tragic elements at once or romantic bits at once. In all, I'm looking for something with equal portions of romance, drama, tragedy, angst, twists, and other elements that make for a fun and literate SoL story. I prefer to stick to the kind of plots I have mentioned below. I do not enjoy sci-fi or fantasy plots.
Writing style ~ I am detailed when needed so I prefer my partner to be the same way. I expect a minimum of 7-8 lines. For example, a dialogic bit in the roleplay doesn't always need 2 paragraphs. But other instances do so I am hoping to find someone who adapts the same way. I also need my partner to be able to play multiple characters as the plot may require, but that being said, your character will always remain the main one.
Writing expectations ~ I write in the first person but I'm open to whatever you're comfortable with. I prefer someone who can do more than 2 replies a day. I tend to be busy during the day but I'm usually free evenings or late nights. But either way, I like to communicate whether I will be active that day or not. I expect the same from my partner.
And finally, proper grammar. I'm a stickler so I'm only looking for someone who can use proper grammar. It's not hard to write 'you' instead of 'u,' sure. But I prefer advanced grammar usage also (i.e., know your quotation marks). I am a fully lit writer so I expect my partner to be the same.
Involvement ~ I prefer if you take the lead as well in furthering the plot instead of leaving it all to me. I am a very flexible and open-minded writer when it comes to plots. I can almost make anything out of something so I want someone who can contribute equally to the storyline.
Communication ~ Discord or Chatzy only. That being said, please do not reach out to me if your intention isn't to work through things to create a roleplay or reply once every 2-3 days. The Five Stages of Hell
Rules:
- Pick Five Shots each shot is a "stage" (2 Post Moves, Free Throw, Mid Range, Three Pointer)
- You must make the shot to complete the "Stage" and move on to the next one
- If you miss, sprint full court to the other basket and make a layup (if you miss the layup, run back down to the other end and try again)
- Once you make the layup, continue from the stage you previously missed at
- You must make all five shots (pass the stages) to complete the workout
- If you make a shot, you have 10 seconds to grab the ball and begin the next stage (no taking prolonged breaks between shots)
- If you miss the shot, you must immediately rebound it and run to the other end as if it was a game situation
- Full workout is doing 5 separate rounds of the āFive Stages of Hellā
- Once you complete a round, take 10 free throws. However many you miss, do twice as many push-ups (4 of 10 = 12 push-ups). And then immediately start the next round
- No taking breaks or sitting down. The free throws are untimed and serve as your breather
- If you do not have a full court, instead of running to the other basket pivot at half court and run back to your own basket for your layup

My son had turned 4 and wanted to build a birdhouse. I am thrilled any time he wants to make something and not sit glued to the TV or ipad, so we went out to get one of those birdhouse kits with the pre-cut pieces.
He loves being independent so aside from starting the nails and helping him figure out which piece goes where, I let him do his thing. He even painted it after, calling it the rainbow house (so you can guess what it looked like). This thing was barely staying together, but it was his and he was so proud of it.
We put it on our table on the back deck and when I got home from work the next day I had a letter from the HOA shoved in my door. It was a $50 fine for having an animal sanctuary on our property. I went down to the property management office to argue the fine and was told they would take me to court if I didnt pay.
Since technically it fell under the definition of an "animal sanctuary", even though I doubt any birds would ever use it, I decided to save some money and just pay the fine instead of fighting it in court.
The worst part of this whole ordeal was explaining to my son why he couldn't show off his birdhouse. I told him what the HOA said and he told me when we move next time, that we should make sure there aren't any HOAs around.

We put it on our table on the back deck and when I got home from work the next day I had a letter from the HOA shoved in my door. It was a $50 fine for having an animal sanctuary on our property. I went down to the property management office to argue the fine and was told they would take me to court if I didnt pay.
Since technically it fell under the definition of an "animal sanctuary", even though I doubt any birds would ever use it, I decided to save some money and just pay the fine instead of fighting it in court.
The worst part of this whole ordeal was explaining to my son why he couldn't show off his birdhouse. I told him what the HOA said and he told me when we move next time, that we should make sure there aren't any HOAs around.

I've made a mod for the flamer that means, the longer you continuously fire it, the more damage it does. Specifically, x2 after 2.5 seconds, x3 after 5 seconds, x4 after 7.5 seconds, and x5 after 10 seconds. Once you stop firing, it resets to x1. I think this makes it at least somewhat viable as a heavy weapon, without making it unbalanced.
Would people be interested in this? How would it best be implemented? In my game, I've used it to replace the Kneecapper effect on Sergeant Ash so Sergeant Ash is actually unique, but would people prefer it to be active on all flamers? Or as a legendary effect that can randomly spawn on any legendary flamer drop?
Also, any name suggestions? At the moment it's just 'Charging Flamer', but does that give a strong enough indication of what it does?

What's up everyone! Really need some help here. I have not worked in almost 4 years after having spinal surgery and going down the wrong path. Thankfully, I have a supportive wife and kids and am back on my way up. Prior to the surgery, I worked about 5 years in IT including Mobility (Wireless phone) support and tech support including supporting some basic VOIP Telephony. I have retail and outside sales experience that dates back 20 years now. I have 96 college credits from a good community college in Biology and Computer Science. Just not a degree.

From my perspective, the attack roll is fun and dynamic. It's exciting to crit. I enjoy resolving that, but I don't really enjoy rolling for damage. Most of the time, it doesn't feel that impactful (4 vs 6, for example), especially when you get to the point (as in with GWM) that the flat bonuses are far more significant than the rollable results.
So I don't think rolling for damage is all that fun, especially with how much aggregated time it can take up in a game session.
Do you enjoy rolling for damage? I would be just as happy rolling for average damage.

As you can see there is a 4" vent stack above the toilet that I'm not tied into, but which must be used by the units below. However it is far away from the shower. Waste and Vent stack above slab is PVC and therefore easy to tie into, but I only have access above the slab and the old shower and WC drains are currently below slab and Cast Iron (from what I know). Code (for reference and convenience): FBC Plumbing 912.2.1 Horizontal wet vent The dry-vent connection for a horizontal wet-vent system shall be an individual vent or a common vent for any bathroom group fixture, except an emergency floor drain.
