At the time of typing this, I 13M just finished crying when my friends told me about my crush. So basically I have a crush on a girl 14F. We are both in 8th grade and She's not like anyone else though, she was there for me when I was alone and by myself. I don't know why but she always went out of her way just to greet me, and I know it's little but as an introvert trying to come out the box I really like that. But anyway, we h had some small conversations here and there and like a said being an introvert I really liked that. But one day she asks me about who I like and I was avoiding the question and that but the thing is, this isn't the first time this happened. rewinding back to my old school in 7th grade I liked a girl but we were not friends but I had another friend that eventually became friends with her so I stopped talking to her out of nervousness. But back to the future when that day was over and I was on the bus I told my friends (yes I have I a friend group that are actual friends) and when I said the name of my crush (let's call her katie) they were like "katie? Like THAT Katie" I was confused because they were shocked and surprised. They told me that Katie been around If you know what I mean but that's all they said so I was still in love.
But today, one of my friends asked how me and Katie was doing and a kid next to me said "Wait WHO?!" And I was why'd you say that out loud and so and so. But he was someone I didn't expect. Apparently he was a victim of Katie and he had some Odd experiences with her. What he told me is that Katie had a crush on him and always asked him who he liked (this will be important later) he said Katie always tried to go in the bathroom with him and Do It if you catch my drift. But anyway Katie was/is a freak, like he said one time when he called her, her "bottom" was all up in the camera (and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't into that) but also, she cheated on her ex and broke up hence why she is single now. Not to mention yesterday when they invited me to sit with them they were teasing me about who I liked, Notice something? And when I asked who she likes she went quiet and said "I don't like him anymore" I asked why and her friend sitting next to her tried to say something but Katie stopped her and I brushed it off. But now I know why now she must have been talking about the guy (aka the victim) and didn't want me to know. But everyone is telling me to "hit it and dip" if you what that means but I'm just not type of person and now that I know everything (unless there is hopefully no more) about her. What should I do??
Should I confess still? Should I leave her?? People might be saying to just leave her but it hurts leaving something you worked so hard on. I feel like it’s been repeated many times before, but hey, I guess that magnifying glass 🔍 in the top header is harder to use on some. Just know, I’ve learned everything I know just by doing that, searching keywords until it all came together and made sense.

Yes, OE = more than 1 FT Job. You’ll quickly find out that PT gigs make you do more for less. It’s a trap. Don’t do PT.
Overlap? I’m assuming you’re referring to Teams meetings - always be on mute. Make sure each set up has their own accessories but nothing that’ll flag IT concerning suspicious downloaded software. (Plug usb’s into an external surge protector thing) My meetings overlap often, and I’ve got myself muted listening to both. If I’m asked anything, I calmly take my time to mute the sound of the opposite meeting, unmute myself to answer whatever they want, go back on mute, and again listen in to both. If anxiety will take the best of you, hop on Amazon and find a mute button with a big a$$ bright light that doesn’t require software to download. To be fair, this actually might be the one device you could explain your way out of to IT about software being downloaded. Idk. Share your experience below.
Deadlines on the same day? Personally, I wouldn’t recommend OE for jobs that require a lot of production. But, being the person I am not taking my own advice, this is quite literally my J1. I’m usually up early in the mornings and can knock out about everything needed for J1 between 4:30am - 8am. I know it sounds crazy, but during this time there isn’t anyone bothering me. Kid is asleep, coworkers from J1 aren’t blasting me on Teams, dead zone quiet. By the time 8am rolls around, I can finish whatever is needed from J1 while focusing on the active Teams activities and whatever for J2. From noon til 5, I’m playing Fortnite while all of my mice are on jigglers to keep them moving and my Teams notifications are on full blast volume.
I actually nailed J2 and convinced them I was leaving J1 due to the promise of working remote, but then they took it back. It wasn’t far from the truth actually. I really was about to leave J1. But, they gave me a test drive to work remote and see how it goes. I used this opportunity to go above and beyond hitting my numbers to where they said “as long as you’re hitting those numbers, we don’t GAF what you do.” So, I never cancelled J2 and onboarded during this time. I’ve now found the perfect routine for myself, which includes those early morning hours. Even though technically, I guess I’m on the clock longer, but it really doesn’t feel like it. I’m blowing off the second half of the day kicking some 10 yo butts online.
Keep in mind, the overall culture for OE is this: Why go above and beyond for an employer who wouldn’t do the same for you - just get by with what you need to maintain your presence at both, be mediocre and average, and make twice the salary by working/stressing less.

Blew everyone away HOW DID YOU DO THAT YOU ARE SO DETAILED OMG I NEED TO LEARN FROM YOU etc etc. *pats phone gently
*Be responsible. Whatever financial goal you have, put stickies all over your monitors to remind you why you’re doing this. Fact check yourself on your spending and don’t go overboard. You just hit the lottery. Act like it. Don’t tell a single soul, don’t make it obvious, don’t make the IRS angry, and for the love of Satan DO NOT OE FOR GOVT EMPLOYERS.
*your J1 or J2 boss might actually be in this sub. Be vague.
*YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE- heaven forbid you land a job that requires you to be active on the socials. For one, I’d say that is NOT the opportunity you want to look for. BUT I get it. Beggars can’t be choosers, so, there’s a hack for that. Your answer needs to be as broad and humiliating as possible to make them feel uncomfortable for asking in the first place..such as “my therapist and case worker have gone to extreme lengths to put my safety first due to a past relationship. If I am to have a social media presence, it has to be vague and limited to past events.” Leave it at that. Girls, this one is your golden ticket. Boys, you make need to tweak it a bit to work better for you…maybe identity theft or something. Sorry I don’t make the rules. It is what it is. MOVING ONNNNN….
Regarding to socials, if you absolutely have to have a LI acct, make multiple. Be careful to upload different occupations, limit your name info, DO NOT USE THE SAME PROFILE PIC LET ALONE AN ACTUAL REAL PIC. Do one of those AI trends and fancy yourself a professional shot. Make each different. Does it look like you compared to Teams calls? Eh, maybe it’s arguable. As long as there is room for doubt, you’re golden.

I (35F) was on my street and saw a girl (about 8) deliberately drop a kitten from shoulder height to the ground. The kitten had to brace itself to land safely. A man (I presumed dad) was watching and made no comment. I approached the kitten and noticed it was a bit thin. Instinct got the better of me and I took the kitten in. I posted on a local fb group about what I saw and asked if anyone knew the owner. Got the cat some food which it ate like it was famished. Didn't see anything on fb until the next morning when I found a flurry of messages.
First a female I'll call Milly, called and told me the whole story. The kitten was born under her bed. She moved out because of a breakdown in her relationship with her mum. She was sad to leave the cats, said there were about 9 in the home and 2 dogs, none of the animals were cared for properly and she asked me to keep the cat called Buddy. She said if I gave him back he'd disappear like the others eventually do.
Second female, I'll call her Annie. Messaged and begged me to return Buddy, confirmed she is Milly's sister. Agreed her younger sister was the one i saw with her step-dad and agreed her siblings needed to treat Buddy better. I offered to care for him and money to buy him but she insisted she was very attached to Buddy and would take better care of him, she also estimated 9 cats in their property and one likely pregnant.
While talking to Annie, her stepdad (we'll call him Gary) chimed in on the post I made on Facebook saying his younger daughter was just trying to "stop the cat following them" and she was crying all night because she was worried about her cat and I shouldn't have taken him and he's well fed.
I took the kitten to the vet who confirmed no microchip, his weight was OK but he had signs of worms so i got dewormer. Told Annie I'd return Buddy once he'd has his worming treatment and suggested chipping and neutering all the cats which she agreed she would look into.
Annie and I agreed a meet up point at which time step dad started sending angry messages from his workplace because I wasn't returning the cat yet and I was communicating with a child instead of him. Turns out Annie is 13! But WAY more mature than stepdad. He became threatening and I was home alone with a poorly toddler so I went to meet Annie. Sweet kid, took my advice on board and asked questions.
Told Gary cat was home, that from 10th June if Buddy isn't chipped someone can legally take him and claim him. I told him why I took Buddy and that if I'm concerned about an animal I'll check for a chip and act accordingly. I also told him Annie is a good kid and to neuter his cats! Then blocked him. Now Gary's teenage son is trying to intimidate me on my walk home.
TLDR; I kept a neighbours cat, even after finding out it belonged to them because I was worried he was being mistreated. Returned him after 24hrs but some of the family think I'm an asshole for taking him.

I was looking for some info on the Beckham Law equivalent for Pais Vasco...and can only seem to find stuff that is a bit dated.
I know Spain recently updated the law, giving teleworkers working in spain (even if they do not work for a Spanish company) the option to register as "non-residents" for tax purposes, but I can't seem to find a similar update in Pais Vasco.
Anyone have experience with this? I saw that the 15% exemption has been increased to 30%, but how to actually qualify still seems a bit ambiguous?
I've also seen that the so called Beckham Law supercedes regional provisions - so maybe just sticking to that is the best?

2024.05.15 00:13 Initial_Emu7104 Dog health issues causing stress and anxiety
I’m not sure if this is the best place to post this but I am at my wits end. My puppy (now dog at a little over a year old) went suddenly blind when she was 9 months old. Luckily we have a vet ophthalmologist about an hour and a half away from us and we were referred there where she was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Retinitis. She was seen within a week of going blind and 2 days after we were seen for the very expensive procedure (a little under 5K that luckily insurance covered most of) she could see again. I couldn’t believe it, because the doctor said with this treatment she could regain her vision with 4-6 mos. I was so thankful and happy. She was put on steroids for the near future with plans to wean her off, and an auto immune medication that she would be on for life. She has to get blood and urine labs done every 6mos as well. I’ve been dealing with this very poorly and started therapy in late February. I have a wonderful therapist and so many tools she gives me that I do use. I also go to yoga weekly and love my instructor and feel so good during and after my classes. My problem is, I feel like one thing happens after another and I maybe have caregiver fatigue, except for a dog. I constantly worry about her and I’ve never cried so much in my life. About 6 weeks ago she started refusing to eat and after a vet visit where she checked out good, trying to change her food and where her food bowls are etc, she still wasn’t eating. We went back and they did a GI blood panel (also very expensive and luckily mostly covered by insurance) that everything was normal except her cortisol levels were a little on the low side, but not abnormal, and her B12 was low. Her regular vet started her on a supplement for that and the ophthalmologist changed her auto immune medication and started her on Cerenia for nausea every other day. She’s been doing fine for the past couple weeks but the past few days she has been picky about eating again. I love my dog more than anything, she is my baby, but every day I just feel like giving up. The constant vet visits and calls, the constant worry, it’s stressing me out so much and I know this affects her. I am so lucky I have an understanding boss, care credit and pet insurance, because if I didn’t I probably wouldn’t have a job and/or my dog would still be blind. I just feel cheated out of the regular dog experience because I also had really bad puppy blues, and feel like I only got about 3 months of just enjoying my dog and not being anxious and stressed 24/7. I have looked around my area for chronic pet illness support groups but haven’t had any luck. If you read this rambling mess and have any advice I would gladly take it. I am still so grateful for my baby and wouldn’t trade her for the world and I know how fortunate I am to be able to go to therapy and yoga, but I am just so lost right now and feel like every decision I make is the wrong one.

hellos. it is me again. i am back with update about last post (if don’t know what i mean, feels free to check profile) will warn again, english is not best so if hard to understand, i apologize! but i have been practice more 😄
i finally am fully move in with bf. other night he let decorate a room to be girly because i always had dedicated room for art. i did not feels safe having one as soon as roommate allowed dog in house, but there is no dog to ruin me here. i feels so happy, safe, loved because he love me and respect me and there is no dog here to growl and act aggressive at me here. he always tell me how important i am to him, how much he love me and how he will make sure i stay happy with him.
a little over week ago (my birthday) roommate calls and ask for my part of rent money. i send her text about me move out and landlord should told her but she either ignore or didn’t receive message. she did not ask how am i, no happy birthday, no ask about where i have been. like they not notice i have been gone. now she reach out on my birthday of any day to ask for money for place i do not live anymore? i tell her i live with bf now and am sorry but no money for rent can come from me, especially now because i am looking for new better pay job. she sends sad message making me feel bad because she knows am really easy to make feel bad about stuffs that is not my fault. she says she is pay to get stuff for dog and wants to be a good gf and dog mom (what is that? i do not understand how can be mom to a dog?) and want to use money for that but needs money for rent too. i was confuse because should rent not be bigger importance? she can spoil dog later i think but no, she wants take money from me. cut it short my final answer is no and she does not respond message.
a few days later i happen to be getting out of car after buying hair products when they stop by taking stroll. i still wonder if they were going out of way to see me or if just happened to be walking around area. dog is barking and pulling on very weak and dirty leash. it does not look like the leash strong enough to hold dog of size, much less clearly aggressive pitbull. it not break around me but whole time i was scare leash would snap and dog would attack me. bf was not home he was at work so it was me, roommate, her gf, and dog. gf says they were taking walk and ask how i am doing. i tell her honestly, very happy. i did not mean to sound bragging in any way but not resist telling her how life has treat me now that i can feel safe in own home again. not scared to walk to another room for fear of be attacked. she act happy for me but she also looks so angry at me. i don’t know why? it is not like i told them to get rid of dog. do i wish they did? yes. not just because it is dog but because it is clearly aggressive. i realize now thanks to you all that moment dog was brought into home, they stop caring about me, their friend, for a dog that made miserable. even if i ask i doubt they would have rehome dog. i did what best for me, and i guess them, and move in with man who love me and would not hurt me like that.
as we are talking dog looks like ready to take bite out of me, pulling on leash. i wondered if both were angry enough to let dog loose to intimidate me just by way they were acting. i could not believe how quick we went from friends to me being scare of them and dog. while they did not say anything threaten exactly (we were catching up talk about life, i did because i did not want be childish), the body behavior and emotions were clear. they hate me for move out, but only notice because they need rent money? i tell them many time before i left that dog is making life hell but never listened. then i told was moving out before i officially did. when they brought dog with it felt like a threat, just having such dangerous thing around. like a warning and disrespect. “look, we only care about dog. here it is on very weak leash that can snap any time. we know how you feel about dogs and how scare you are, but not care about you anymore! by the way, can borrow some money for rent even though is not your responsibility anymore? here is sad story to make you feel guilt so say yes.”
i told bf what happen when he got home later that night, and he called them and said some very angry thing. i think he should have calm down (for his sake), but he basically told them never come my way again, especially with dog. that if they want talk, talk like adults and don’t include the thing that was a reason i move out. he said is dangerous dog and to not come crying to me when it gets put down because it kill someone or cause life change injuries. he can get very angry but he later tell me he just gets upset that NOW they decide to come sees me. NOW they want talk. we blocked both of them and i don’t really want be friends with them again because they toss me aside for dog like it was nothing. we went hell and back and it went down drain because of dog. not just any dog but badly train dog who might attack someone one day. i tell my family and they thinks am overreacting but i don’t think they ever understand until this happen to them. i mostly made post to tell you all am currently live dog free. am happy living here. it always smell clean, i can walk freely no fear. bf give me much love and attention. we have video game night or go out to eat or just be outside. i also got job for doordash today and am getting second job somewhere soon hopefully too because have interview tomorrow! it can get better, for anyone struggle living with dog. can be mentally drained but you are not alone. 🤗 thanks much for people that commented on last post. am thankful when people don’t make me feel crazy for saying dogs scare me and impact mental health in bad way. i don’t hate dogs for existence, just wish people could know that not everybody has to like them.

I started taking birth control pills in February. Since then I have missed 2 pills total. Once in the first pack, the 2nd was last month because I rushed my dog to the emergency vet at night and did not make it home until 7am the next day (birth control wasn’t on my mind). I took that pill the next day with that days pill (2 pills). I had unprotected sex (with ejaculation inside)2 days before I missed my pill. I started what I assumed to be my period very very early. I thought it was just from stress because of my dog having to go to the emergency vet. I was “spotting”. Had very light pink blood when I wiped and this lasted for 6 days and then I started bleeding very heavily for 5 days after that. Well I was supposed to start my period last Saturday/Sunday and I have not. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests within the last couple of weeks. I took one pretty early, probably about 8 days before my period. Negative. I took another one last Friday (4 days ago). Negative. I also just took one last night and it was negative, although I didn’t have a lot of pee to work with. I know there isn’t really any advice other than to take more tests and call my doctor, but has anyone ever experienced something like this? I really cannot get pregnant. I do not want children. I already had a termination (please do not attack me for this) at the beginning of the year…

My son's renewal passport application is sent to New Orleans passport agency and the status showed they received the application on 1/29/24. I am flying off to Korea on 5/25/24. Does anyone know why it's taking so long??
It even said expedited usually takes 2-3 weeks processing time but it has been MONTHS.
I called a few times since end of Feb and was told to call back WHEN I AM TRAVELLING WITHIN 14 DAYS then someone will be able to let me know why it's still processing.
I called on Saturday 5/11/24 I was told to call back in Monday because the agency is not open on weekends.
I call on Sunday 5/13/24 I was told a request was put in, they needed my credit card info in case I needed to be charged any expedited fees ALTHOUGH it has been so long. Told me to keep an eye out for status change today (5/14/24) and if I receive any calls or emails. NONE. No status change.
Called again, this customer service rep Michelle was more impatient and just tells me there is NOTHING I can do and I can only wait for the agency to contact me. She can't even tell me why it is still processing. I should only call back on 5/20/24 IF I don't see status changes or receive any calls from the agency. This is the first time the process is so stressful and taking so long.

After his wife finally expired in childbed when Jocelyn was nineteen, Willem was quickly making plans to take a new wife, only to die suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving Jocelyn the Lady of Holyhall.
There are rumors Jocelyn poisoned her father, to prevent him from creating a new heir and sending her to the silent sisters. She denies these rumors.

Got into a minor accident at the gas station. I was done getting gas and was backing up and the person who was parked on the side also decided to back up. We ended up hitting each other. There’s minimal damage to my rear bumper and the other driver has a larger dent in theirs. We exchanged information and I plan on going back to the gas station for camera footage. Also, already notified my insurance and started an incident report (not a claim) as I won’t be fixing the minor damage on my car since it’s a beater anyways. We also notified the cops but they said it’s a civil matter and between our insurances and no report was made since it’s on private property.
The other driver started to go with his own narrative later on and said I backed up into him though. Is there anything else I need to do? Should I just file a claim then since if I don’t it kind of looks like it’s my fault. Will be expecting a call from the adjuster tomorrow to give more info/pictures.

The way they fight is similar in aggression and tactics with real life elephants: with rapid, ham-fisted melee assault in the chapter representing the Bulls/Patriarchs, and large groups of individuals in a defensive posture representing the Cows/Matriarchs.
They use Terminators (which have tusks) for infantry, and Dreads (which will also have tusks) for vehicles. that's it.

So basically I texted the guy that I’m talking a lot and sort of caused a disturbance through online because he’s been just reading my text messages and I’m not sure as to if he could just be busy or what. My mom was on phone with older brother last night and she received two no caller id’s and she was suspecting if it was him calling, and she was saying stuff to me like he’s not interested in continuing relationship with me, and to take a hint just very hurtful stuff. I was telling her to shut up and I took her phone because I was going to call who the no caller id was, and my dog ended up biting me for being aggressive towards me mom :/ so then my parents tried to talk to me about the situation which did absolutely nothing anyways, because I comprehended not a single thing from the whole conversation ( I have a learning disability). They want me to stop contacting him. But I don’t want to listen. I still have feelings for and like him. Plus I get stomach aches/pains everyday and I don’t have much people to talk to about it.

We've had a serious issue with OpenPhone recently where we enter contact info for a contact, save the contact and the contact appears to be saved. The name shows up in the call/message log, then I click into the conversation and the contact info disappears leaving only the phone number.
This us a serious bug and is costing us significant time and operational bandwidth. Any others experiencing this and is there an estimate on when it might be resolved?

2024.05.14 23:52 rainbowbrite817 Cat seems sick and now I’m worried it may be related to paint primer
I have a 6yo cat with no previous health conditions. Yesterday morning (5/13/24) I woke up and noticed she didn’t come to me like she normally does when my alarm goes off, was super lethargic, wouldn’t eat even treats or soft food, had one episode of vomiting, was walking really slowly with her head hung low, and didn’t seem like she could go very far. I called out of work and she slept most of the day. I got her into the vet that afternoon, but while my cat is a sweet baby at home, she’s basically feral and aggressive at the vet, so they weren’t able to do a full assessment, just gave her an anti-nausea shot through her crate and an appetite stimulant ointment for home.
She was lethargic the rest of the day and didn’t eat, but this morning she seemed a little perkier and she ate all of the treats I gave her. I never saw her get into it or any of the drips or anything, but it technically contains ethylene glycol which is the main ingredient in anti-freeze and can be highly toxic. I can’t find anything online about if the levels in this primer are dangerous for cats or what to look out for, just info about direct anti-freeze poisoning.
Long story short, does anyone have any info on this or a similar story? Any recommendations on where to go from here?

We just brought home a 16 week old Biewer Terrier puppy yesterday! He is the sweetest, cuddliest pup ever and I’m already enjoying him :)
I’ve never owned a toy breed before, and I was wondering if there are any tips that small dog owners have to help avoid seperation anxiety?
I’ve read it can be more prominent in smaller dogs, and especially as I’m bringing my puppy home at an older age than most, I want to make sure I do what I can to help him to be well adjusted as an adult :)
We’re experiencing the usual puppy things especially since we’ve only had him for a day and a half. We don’t use a crate but instead have a small playpen that we use to “crate” him. I’ve been keeping him in there by my desk while I work, and he’ll cry for about 10 minutes before falling asleep. He’s not interested in his toys yet, he’s only interested in cuddling with me or being on me.
I’m trying to strike that balance of giving him opportunities to practice independence and being alone, while also giving us an opportunity to bond and cuddle and be close. So I’ll put him in his pen to sleep during the day (which he’s HATING) or eat his meals, and then take him out to play and go for “walks” in a little dog carrier sling that I have (he isn’t vaccinated yet). If he’s really crying hard or getting frantic I’ll take him out of his pen to soothe him and let him get sleepy before moving him back into the pen. If I leave the room for any length of time he’s crying, which is to be expected I would think.
It’s hard to find the balance between letting him get used to being alone, and knowing when to soothe him. It’s hard for me not to give in and just let him sleep in my lap, but I want him to be able to sleep well in his pen at night and when we leave the house.
Any suggestions??
