Well, Clefable's votes were unsurprising. The vast majority of voters voted for Gen 6 OU, where Clefable first achieved Peak Clefable - although there were some people noting that it was arguably even more dominant in pre-home Gen 8 OU, where the limited metagame was incredibly kind to it. Clefable has joined Landorus-T in the Forever OU Gang...although, we thought Tyranitar and Garchomp belonged there too, and look how that went.

Moving along, though, we move to Ninetales, the elegant fire fox, which in most cases is a superior browser to Chrome. Aside its design, in most of its early history it was a fairly unremarkable Fire-type special attacker in a universe with many, many, many of those. In Generation 5, however, things began to change for it...

So let's get to it. The metagames in question:

Gen 1 UU: You'd think that Ninetales is solidly outclassed by Moltres in a tier that includes Moltres, with no abilities existing to help Ninetales along, and it seems that for a while, this was considered to be the case. However, the current VR tells a different story, with Moltres having fallen off an absolute cliff to the point where it's now tiered in NU, while Ninetales sits much more comfortably as a lead. The reason? Articuno. In Generation 1, Fire doesn't resist Ice, so Moltres (and Charizard)'s weakness to Ice makes their matchups with Articuno awful - and Moltres is the same speed as Articuno, too, making it even worse. Ninetales is faster than Articuno, threatens it with powerful Fire Blasts that have a solid chance to Burn and cripple physical attackers like Dragonite, and can use Body Slam to fish for paralysis on switch-ins. Dodrio moving up also helps, as it CANNOT switch into Ninetales at all. It's got a solid place in the lead metagame due to its truly bad matchup, Tentacruel, being a way too valuable mon to use as a lead (especially when Kadabra exists) and, even though it still has flaws, it really has enough going for it for the VR to place Ninetales in B- rank.

Gen 2 NU: I don't know why Game Freak decided to look at Ninetales and thought 'this thing needs to be nerfed', bringing its Special Attack down from 100 to 80, but they did, and Ninetales is forever cursing the day this happened, dropping it into GSC NU. However, it's a decent mon there. Its high special bulk lets it take on Xatu, Magmar, and Weezing very well while threatening Weezing especially back with Flamethrower (preferred over Fire Blast due to Ninetales's more defensive role), and access to Sunny Day allows it to gain some power back despite the nerf. It also gets Roar to take advantage of Pineco's Spikes, and its defensive profile with limited coverage gives it solid case as a RestTalker. There's just one problem - one of the best Pokemon in the tier is Water-type Octillery, and Dewgong is a solid threat too. Ninetales can't make any real progress against Octillery, and being so hard countered by one of NU's best mons is tough for it. Still, the VR places Ninetales in B+ rank, a very respectable showing.

Gen 3 UU: And due to the addition of the new great Status-inducing Will-o-Wisp, Ninetales got moved back up to UU in ADV!! Where it's...kind of terrible. Unfortunately for Ninetales, in the most recent tier shift, Arcanine entered the tier. Arcanine completely outclasses Ninetales in almost every way, and has the great ability Intimidate, AND higher Special Attack! There is, quite honestly, literally no reason to use Ninetales in the current Gen 3 UU, unless you REALLY want a Fire-type Will-o-Wisp user. The current VR places Ninetales in C- rank, barely above completely useless. Gen 3 UU will be excluded from the poll.

Gen 4 NU: They decided to throw Ninetales a bit of a bone this generation, giving it access to an actual coverage move in Energy Ball and a powerful setup move in Nasty Plot. What's more, its ability in Flash Fire allows it to switch into expected Fire-type attacks from mons like Charizard and threaten them back with boosted moves - and DPP NU is a tier with a number of strong Fire-types! It can also effectively run Choice Specs, or Hypnosis to nail pokemon on the switch. That said, it's stuck using the mediocre Hidden Power Rock to hit opposing Fire-types, and other Flash Fire mons like Houndoom can exploit it quite well. Bulky Waters that don't take too much from Energy Ball, too, can deal with it, especially Mantine. Overall, it's solid, if not amazing, with the VR placing Ninetales in B rank.

Gen 5 OU: It's time for Ninetales's big moment in the sun (ha ha.). As the only non-legendary in Generation 5 with the ability Drought, Ninetales is absolutely essential on Sun teams. That sounds great, yes, but...First off, Sun's big tools against Rain and Sand used to be its powerful Grass-type Chlorophyll mons, specifically Venusaur. That's banned, now, and while Rain and Sand were able to get along without their Swift Swim and Sand Rush, Sun was absolutely crippled. As Ninetales is useless on non-Sun teams, its ability to work is shaky at best, and its weakness to Stealth Rock makes it even harder to use. Unfortunately for Ninetales, its big moment of the sun was before the weather speed abilities ban, and it's just not good enough anymore. The VR places Ninetales in C rank. As unfortunate as it is, I have to exclude Ninetales's sole OU placement from the VR.

Gen 6 PU: And to add insult to injury, Ninetales no longer has exclusive access to Drought, with Torkoal being considered a better Sun setter in most cases, forcing it to lower tiers. These lower tiers have Drought banned, forcing it to the inferior Flash Fire. Gen 6 saw Ninetales fall all the way down to PU, where it's, as is often the case for Ninetales, okay if nothing flashy. Its Nasty Plot and Fire Blast are as strong as ever, which in the era of power creep and Mega Evolution, lands it in a solid niche in a low, low tier. It's still decent (although earlier on in the gen it was considered the premier fire type of ORAS PU), with its ability to force out some mons, however there are just faster mons in lower tiers now, meaning there is plenty that revenges it, like Floatzel, Ursaring, and Simipour. That said, however, Ninetales can absolutely demolish Quagsire with its interesting coverage option in Energy Ball, allowing it to setup break stall without getting walled by Quagsire - a very powerful niche! While Ninetales might struggle against fast frail Water-types, against slower bulkier mons, Ninetales is very much in its element! The VR currently places Ninetales in B rank.

Gen 7 RU: In a nice turn of events, Ninetales is able to end up in a tier where it doesn't have to compete with Torkoal, but Sun is legal. Nasty Plot and Choice Specs remain solid options with its high power, and having the ability to actually use Solar Beam means that Water-types are no longer a huge issue for it, especially slow bulky ones. The addition of Z-crystals is a major positive for a setup mon like Ninetales, as +2 Inferno Overdrive in Sun will obliterate most things that aren't Snorlax or enemy Flash Fire users. What's more, Virizion and Metagross are two of the best mons in the metagame, and Ninetales loves that - even if Salazzle gives it a bit of pause. While it still has its issues of being a bit frail, and being weak to Stealth Rocks, and letting in certain walls like Goodra and Snorlax pretty easily, it's still a very good mon for aggressive or balanced teams when it can come in. The VR places Ninetales in A rank.

Gen 8 ZU: Unfortunately, Ninetales is dropped from the the Drought-legal tiers again, and forced back into its inferior ability. It still has some solid play here, with its ability as a Nasty Plot sweeper being especially threatening in such a low power tier, but it has competition in fellow Gen 1 fire type Rapidash, whose physical ability and Play Rough access to threaten Dragon-types like Altaria gives it purchase. It's still decent enough, but it's a bit of a matchup fish (in part because people tend to prepare more for Rapidash, sometimes ending up with teams that are weak to Ninetales, as they are very different counterplay despite both being faster Fire Types.). The VR currently places Ninetales in B- rank.

My fiancé and I have 4 kids and he’s always been an active parent to our kids (as active you can be when you’re working overtime). Things in our relationship have been strain for awhile till about 2 months ago. How all my thinking of something is going on with a co-worker is that… one night during a snow storm after working a 12 hour shift I was stuck because my car fuel pump wasn’t working and he knew our car kept doing that at the time. The whole day I haven’t heard from him which actually started being unusually common when we would talk all day. I tried calling him multiple times and he kept ignoring it, I was stuck for 2 hours in a snow storm. I finally get my car to kick on and drive to the bar. My adrenaline was pumping he was at a bar ignoring my calls for hours when he was just supposed to have a meeting for 2 hours. He was there from 4:30 to 10:00 for this “meeting” with all his coworkers. The female coworker in question was hip to hip to him. Yes she’s 19 in a bar. How? I don’t know… he has his manager, He’s the General Manager and she’s his “apprentice”. I was very upset that night but they all welcomed me, not him 😂 she went and sat with him the whole time while he was glaring at me because everyone was hanging out with me and I wasn’t supposed to be there and I embarrassed him for showing up. Then another time comes where he ended buying me all the stuff I needed to finally do my hobby of acrylic nails (been wanting to do for years) I get all of it and he says I have to do her nails, not a want but have to because she wanted them done. I set up a time with her and ended up wanting to do it at her house. He freaked out called me names and everything because I wanted to do it over there. Not sure if it was because he thought I was thinking something? She ended up cancelling anyways! there’s multiple pictures of her in his phone that are work related but why so many of just this one coworker. He says she’s his apprentice! They text a lot and they text more than we do. The text of there’s compared to the other coworker girl he has is completely night and day and actually was laughable how dull he was being to the other female coworker compared to this one. I go crazy and read these texts over and over because I can’t get past something not feeling right. The quick texting back and fourth when he tells me he can’t even text at work due to being busy. They text I guess when they split off teams. He said he accidentally sent a “ok beautiful “ text to her, he deleted it and I saw it. He did text her he meant to send that to her brother right after that. And then there was this recent text. He’s helping her move up in the field and she went home to change her clothes and he said “ahhhh getting all sales girl’d up I see nice” . Shes inappropriate with her jokes with him, he sends her stuff she should get. On top of that he’s been in the field for 7 years and all of a sudden he wants to buy a bunch of expensive new clothes for just work ( makes he’s color coordinated which is different) he puts cologne on (wouldn’t be weird if in the whole 12 years of being with him him he never did that before going to a labor job), wants to get tatted up out of no where (I love tattoos, i have multiple and so does he) he wants to go get scheduled to get his chest and neck tattooed. Wants designer clothes just really materialistic out of no where with a big ego. Doesn’t spend much time with the kids anymore.. Never was like him before this job which started in February. He gets really mad anytime I bring her up in any way that’s not lifting her up. He praises her when he knocks everything I do. He lets her be as late as she wants everyday, definitely not like him. I have PTSD and ADD, not sure if I’m rationally thinking or not that’s the worst part of having this crap. I feel like at this point, I’m in the wrong for looking. I had a wake up call from this situation that I needed to do more for him. I can say our relationship has been strain for a long time. Since this situation it has been going a lot better, but just this co-worker girl. Am I going crazy y’all? Is he flirting, or you think somethings going on? Reddit I know you guys got my back 🩷

Thought this would be a funny story to post here. Not sure if drug-related posts are frowned upon. Maybe some of you have similar experiences.
6 or 7 years ago me and my boys were hardcore smite players. We were young and didn't have fulltime jobs. Just school and the occasional job on the side. We used to play smite from when we got home from school til 4am or sometimes even 6am. We also experimented with drugs a bit back then.
Me and a friend were off XTC at my place one time and we just were sitting on the couch chatting to eachother. We then both noticed that we hadn't spoken for quite some time. I told him I was in the middle of a team fight in smite, just playing the game in my head and actually seeing the game happen in front of me. I remember even going to base after the fight, buying items and returning to my lane. When I told him this, he said he was experiencing the exact same thing. We were both playing full smite games in our heads and visualizing them. After a while we both had played about a 15-minute game, just visualizing it thanks to the drugs. It was awesome.
Must have been because all we did was play smite back then. Have any of you experienced anything similar?

From 2019 to 2021 I (28, trans man) dated a woman (26F now). She was extremely physically abusive and tried to isolate me from my friends and family as well as ruin my connections with them which worked. In 2021 she ran off with some other guy she met online but honestly at that point I was more relieved than heartbroken. Living with her was hell. A few months later she begged me to take her back because things didn’t work out but I refused.
I thought I could just go back to my old life until I found out that when she said she’d “follow me to the ends of the earth and make sure I never found peace if I left her” she intended to make good on that.
She’s been stalking me. On one of my socials I noticed a weird account kept viewing my page and decided to see if it was anyone I knew. Turned out it was her. I later noticed similar accounts monitoring me on other social media (Facebook, Tumblr, etc). Keep in mind that after I refused to take her back I deleted all my socials and changed my phone number, email address and moved and resurfaced under a different screen name about a year later.
I need to circle back and give you some e background information on why I am so scared of her. She views herself as a vigilante. I found out while I was with her that I was not the first person she’s done this to.
Often times she feels like she hasn’t done enough and keeps tabs on people online. She had an ex boyfriend she did that too who I found out about long after she moved in with me. The guy relocated shortly after they broke up but she managed to dig up not only his new address but a bunch of other stuff like who he was living with and places he went to regularly. She had plans to come back and get revenge on him for dumping her and those two were only together for a few mont. We were together for a couple years and living together so I think she has something extra nasty in store for me, particularly since I started seeing someone else a couple years later.
People have dismissed my concerns because she’s “just a girl” and some even think I did something to deserve it. She tried to snap my cats neck, broke my nose by hitting me in the face with her big ass clunky phone, and attempted to stab me in the eye for talking to my aunt. She also told me that if I ever found anyone else after her she’d kill them. After some of the things she did to me I don’t think that was an empty threat.
Here’s the plan I’m trying make. I don’t think what she’s doing is limited to cyber stocking. I’ve been getting some really funny phone calls the last couple of days, even though I changed my phone number a couple of years ago. Not just on my cell phone either. I spent a couple days in a motel and received a funny call on the landline they had in their motel room. When I picked up, all I heard, was breathing on the other end for quite some time before they hung up. This is similar to the stuff she did in 2021 after I told her I wasn’t taking her back hence why I changed my number in the first place.
It even happened at work. I work the night shift and if you get any calls, it’s my job to answer them because I work the front. Normally, we never ever get calls after 10 PM and got one around one in the morning. It could’ve been someone who called us by accident but when I picked up the phone I heard a heavily distorted voice on the other end. I couldn’t really understand what they were saying, but it sounded like they said my name just before hanging up.
There’s another thing that really freaks me out. I got a few calls on my cell from a number with the same area code as hers. I looked the number up and not only did I find her name associated with it, but it also listed her newest address, as being in a city about an hour away from me. I find this particularly alarming, because her permanent address has been in the same state, her whole life and I moved to a different state because I knew she lived in that area. Now it says she lives in my state only 39 miles north of me.
I realize how crazy and paranoid I sound but I think I’ve got a reason to.
My problem is I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to move because I finally have a somewhat stable job. I’m on track to transfer to the university here and finish off my bachelors degree. This city also has some really good doctors and it is so hard to find a good doctor these days. I’ve only been here a little over a year. I don’t want have to move again.
The only person who knows about this is my mom who suggested I break my lease and move back in with her but I don’t want to do that. I made so much progress and I don’t want to ruin it and go back to living with somebody who treats me like I’m 12 years old, doesn’t accept me and is almost as controlling as my ex was.
I also don’t want to put anyone else in danger though. She went after my friends before, who’s to say she won’t do it again? Should I cut all of them off and break up with the person in seeing how to protect them?

Today illustrated that the Democrats have become America’s cheerleaders, emphasizing how investment in the nation’s infrastructure has created jobs and rebuilt the country. This week, the Biden-Harris administration is touting its investments in rebuilding roads and bridges, making sure Americans have clean water, getting rid of pollution, expanding access to high-speed internet, and building a clean energy economy, contrasting that success with Trump’s eternal announcements of an “Infrastructure Week” that never came.
The White House today announced that it has awarded nearly $454 billion in funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, including more than 56,000 projects across more than 4,500 communities across the nation. Those include fixing more than 165,000 miles of roads and more than 9,400 bridges and improving more than 450 ports and 300 airport terminals. It has funded more than 1,400 drinking water and wastewater projects and projects to replace up to 1.7 million toxic lead pipes, as well as more than 8,000 low- and zero-emission buses. It has funded 95 previously unfunded Superfund projects to clean up contaminated sites. It has improved the electrical grid and funded 12,000 miles of high-speed internet infrastructure, and exposed internet junk fees.
The White House explained that this investment is making it cheaper to install clean energy technology and lowering families’ monthly energy bills, and highlighted today the available rebates to enable people to take advantage of the new technologies.
On Wednesday, May 8, a report from the Semiconductor Industry Association and the Boston Consulting Group explored the “breathtaking speed,” as the president of the semiconductor organization put it, at which the industry is growing. In the Financial Times on May 9, John Thornhill reported that the CHIPS and Science Act, which provided a $39 billion investment in the semiconductor industry, has “primed a torrent of private sector investment.” With the influx of both federal money and an additional $447 billion of private investment in 83 projects in 25 states, the report forecasts that the U.S. will increase its share of global manufacturing capacity for leading-edge chips from today’s rate of 0% to 28% by 2032. Thornhill compared this investment to that spurred by Russia’s 1957 launch of the Sputnik satellite.
The Economist yesterday announced that the U.S. “is in the midst of an extraordinary startup boom,” and explored “[h]ow the country revived its “go-getting spirit.”
In contrast to the Democrats’ confidence in America, the Republicans are all-in on the idea that the country is an apocalyptic wasteland. At a rally in New Jersey Saturday, Trump announced: “On day one we will throw out Bidenomics and reinstate MAGAnomics.” He promised to extend his 2017 tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.
But the gist of his speech was an angry, vitriolic picture of a failing nation full of “enemies” that are “more dangerous” than China and Russia and who are “going to destroy our country.” In his telling, the criminal case against him in Manhattan is “bullsh*t,” and President Biden has done more damage than the “ten worst presidents in the history of our country” combined: “[h]e’s a fool; he’s not a smart man…[h]e’s a bad guy…the worst president ever, of any country. The whole world is laughing at him.”
Trump lied that other countries are “emptying out their mental institutions into the United States, our beautiful country. And now the prison populations all over the world are down. They don’t want to report that the mental-institution population is down because they’re taking people from insane asylums and from mental institutions.” Then he riffed into “the late great Hannibal Lecter,” the fictional murderer and cannibal in the film The Silence of the Lambs, apparently to suggest that similar individuals are migrating to the U.S.
House Republicans this week are working to pass a nonbinding resolution to condemn Biden’s immigration policies, although it was Republicans, under orders from Trump, who killed a strong bipartisan immigration bill earlier this year.
The only way to turn back this apocalypse, Trump and his supporters insist, is to put Trump and his team back into the White House. From there, Republicans will return those they consider “real” Americans to power.
The last few days have added new information about what that means. On Thursday, May 9, Senators Katie Britt (R-AL), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Kevin Cramer (R-ND) introduced the More Opportunities for Moms to Succeed (MOMS) act. Britt—who is best known for her disastrous response to Biden’s State of the Union speech from her kitchen—said the measure would provide a federal database of resources for pregnant women and women parenting young children, but that information excludes anything that touches on abortion.
The measure is clear that it enlists the government in opposition to abortion, but more than that, it establishes that the government will create a database of the names and contact information of pregnant women, which the government can then use “to follow up with users on additional resources that would be helpful for the users to review.”
A government database of pregnant women would give the federal government unprecedented control over individuals, and it is especially chilling after the story Caroline Kitchener broke in the Washington Post on May 3, that a Texas man, Collin Davis, filed a petition to stop his ex-partner from traveling to Colorado, where abortion is legal, to obtain an abortion. Should she do so, his lawyer wrote, he would “pursue wrongful-death claims against anyone involved in the killing of his unborn child.” Now Davis wants to be able to depose his former partner along with others he says are “complicit” in the abortion.
Antiabortion activists are also seeking to make mifepristone and misoprostol, drugs used in many abortions, hard to obtain. In Louisiana, state lawmakers are considering classifying the drugs as “controlled dangerous substances,” which would make possessing them carry penalties of up to ten years in prison and fines of up to $75,000.
More than 240 Louisiana doctors wrote to lawmakers saying that the drugs have none of the addictive characteristics associated with dangerous controlled substances and warning that the drugs are crucial for inducing routine labor and preventing catastrophic hemorrhage after delivery, in addition to their use in abortions. “Given its historically poor maternal health outcomes, Louisiana should prioritize safe and evidence-based care for pregnant women,” the doctors wrote.
Louisiana lawmakers also rejected a bill that would have allowed anyone under age 17, the age of consent in Louisiana, to have an abortion if they became pregnant after rape or incest. Passionate testimony from those who suffered such attacks or who treated pregnant girls as young as 8 failed to convince the Republican lawmakers to support the measure. “That baby [in the womb] is innocent.… We have to hang on to that,” said Republican state representative Dodie Horton.
Today, at the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization promoting Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander participation and representation at all levels of the political process, Vice President Kamala Harris encouraged young people to innovate and to move into spaces from which they have been traditionally excluded.
“So here’s the thing about breaking barriers,” she said. “Breaking barriers does not mean you start on one side of the barrier and you end up on the other side. There’s breaking involved. And when you break things you get cut. And you may bleed. And it is worth it every time…. We have to know that sometimes people will open the door for you and leave it open. Sometimes they won’t. Harris’s advice reflects the history that happened on this date in 1862, when the enslaved mariners on board the shallow-draft C.S.S. This was a legend concept I had made a while back and I feel like now after working on it a bit, it is ready for some feedback. It was based around the Idea of titans being in Apex. Of course a titan would never come into the game as they are too big, but what if you had a Mini-Titan? This lead to me creating Titan, originally a vanguard class titan created by the Fronter Militia, who in the Morden day of Titanfall universe, has had his AI transferred into a heavily modified simulacrum body. Practically becoming a human sized Titan, and now he finds himself in the Apex Games.

- Only enemy players can damage it; however, you can press (H or Down on the D-pad) to immediately deactivate it.
- The Shield is just big enough to cover your full hit box and is very slightly curved, think of it being a VERY small and weaker Newcastle Tactile that can’t move.
- Once it’s destroyed or deactivated by any means, it goes on a 5 second cool down before you can spawn a new one. Also, you can only have 1 up at a time.
- CHARACTER ABILITY INTERACTIONS: Maggie’s tactical can attach to it. It is instantly destroyed by EMP.
~Tactical – Moded Laser Cannon~
Shot a precise laser projectile, from your shoulder mounted laser cannon, that can pierce through any surface. Enemies hit by the laser cannot use Shield Regen items for 10 seconds and will have any current one they are using cancelled.
~Tactical Notes:~
- Has a cooldown of 30 seconds and the cooldown starts when the laser is fired. It can be used while performing other actions like Ziplining and using Regen items.
- Holding Tactical button (Q or L1) down will prime your shoulder mounted cannon (Now being referred to as S.M.C.) and letting go of it will fire the S.M.C. (Just like ballistics tactical).
- It deals 20 damage and can head shot to deal 30. It can travel a set distance of 50 meters, and will travel through any surface (Including shields, and barriers of any kind), only stopping once it has travelled 50 meters or hit a player. A player hit by the laser can’t use shield regen items (Meaning Shield Cells, Batteries, and/or Phoenix kits) for 10 second and if they were using one when hit, it will be immediately cancelled.
- CHARACTER ABILITY INTERACTIONS: Things like Newcastle’s, Gibraltar’s, Ramparts, Caustic, Wattson, and legends like them that have tactically and/or Ultimates that can block projectiles, will not block the Laser Shot. Legend abilities that regen shields in any way, Like Wattson and catalyst, will still work as normal even if they are hit by the laser.
~Ultimate – Upgrade Core~
Temporarily gain enough EVO points to upgrade your Shield Core by 1 stage. Gain access to all your legend upgrades for your current and any previous shield core level. Also refresh your tactical ability and restore half of your Shield HP.
~Passive Notes:~
- Has a charge time of 3 minutes and a duration of 30 seconds, downing players will extent the duration of the Ultimate by 5 seconds (Maximum 15).
- Once you used your ultimate you will temporarily gain a free amount EVO point equal to the amount you currently need to Level up your Evo Shield. But once the Ultimate duration ends, you will lose EVO points equal to the amount you gain (Meaning your EVO Armor can devolve). However, you will keep any EVO points you gained additionally during the Ultimate from dealing damage, opening Assault loot bin, and the like. So, for example, if you used your ultimate and need 450 EVO points to level up your shield from 1 to 2, you would gain 450, Levelling up from level 1 to level 2. Then during your ultimate let’s say you gain 250 EVO points. At the end of your ultimate, you shields would revert to level 1, then immediately gain the EVO points gained during your Ult, meaning you would now only need 200 EVO to level up to level 2.
- During your ultimate, if you have Level 2 Evo Shields, you will gain BOTH of your first legend upgrades. If you have Level 3 or higher, you will gain all your Legend upgrades for the duration of the ultimate.

~Level 2 Upgrades – Dash Shield Generator OR Tactical + Kit:~

While you are sliding, create a small shield that is attached to you facing the direction you are sliding.
~Notes:~
Is the same size as Newcastle Revive Arm Shield, however it only has 25 HP. Only enemies can damage it, however you can click (H or down on the D-Pad, while you are sliding) to activate and/or deactivate it, this is on a 2 second cooldown. If it’s damage and is deactivated and/or you’re not sliding for more than 3 seconds, it will slowly start to regen HP until it’s fully restored, or you slide again. If it is destroyed it will not start regening for 10 seconds.
~Tactical +~
Reduce your tactiles cooldown by 5 seconds and increase the size of its projectile. Also, during your ultimate, reduce the cooldown by an additional 5 seconds.

Highlight enemies that are using Shield Regen items within 20 meters of your through walls. During your ultimate increase this range to 40 meters.

The highlight is like mad Maggie’s passive in how it looks, except it is blue. You will see anyone using Shield Cell/Batteries and Phoenix Kits.
~Assault Core~
Gain a faster reload of your weapons. Also, during you ultimate, also gain better weapon handling and movement speed while holding a weapon.

This would be on par with Ballistics ultimate in how much it increases each stat.

In this post I just want to talk about a few ideas about the lengths of the arcs. Not in a negative aspect, but just my guesses on how long the NEL arc will go and what the future arcs could look like and their lengths.
The match against Pxg started in chapter 249. my guess is that this match will have about 30 chapters. I assume that Bastar Munich will win this match 3:2 (I won't go into who scores which goal).
so the match will end in chapter 280. with a few run out chapters we will end up with an arc length of:
Neo Egoist League Arc ending: 285 (134 chapters in total)
Now the speculation begins. After this arc we will not have the U20 World Championship immediately, but a Striker Selection Arc. What it will look like? no idea. But it will have about 25 chapters where the arc will be built up continuously.
Striker selection Arc ending: Chapter 310
Now the World Championship begins. In Japan, in the Blue Lock Stadium. The first match will be over quickly. BL11 rolls over the first opponents and sets the tone for the first match. The whole world holds its breath.
match 2 will have about 20-30 chapters. i see China in this position. and the last match will be against France. Here Blue Lock loses mercilessly.
Group Stage Arc ending (5 - 25 - 25) = Chapter 365
Now the knock-out stage begins and the opponents are just pure hype. I expect the USA to be the first opponent. A strong team of physically strong players. It's not an easy win, but after 30 chapters Japan wins. (3:2)
Next I see Spain or Argentina. (probably more likely Argentina) and again Japan wins (4:3 in 30 chapters)
In the semi-final they will then meet Germany... here Japan loses 3:2 after 30-40 chapters. Kaiser is a completely different person and proves it in this match. After a few run-out chapters, France were shown beating Germany 4-1 in the final
U20 World Cup Arc ending: Chapter 465
After this World Cup comes a time skip of 2-4 years. Kaiser has moved to La Real and Isagi plays for Bastard Munich. This is followed by a Champions League arc (I am undecided here, as it has been said that the Neo Egoist League will have several seasons. Maybe the Champions League is mixed with the NEL here. Everything is open -> 100 chapters

Finally comes the biggest arc of all: the World Championship! France, USA and Brazil compete against each other in the group stage

Would you take it? I had a flashback to like 25+ years ago when I was still a teenager. My main friend group was me, a guy you was 5'7", and a guy over 6'. I had another friend who was a dwarf (I don't remember his height and sadly he has passed of heart issues he was born with, I think he was 4'9" or so... Anyway, he was a really cool guy he didn't give a single fuck what anyone thought and was the most awesome foul mouth dude I knew I loved his rants. He was no jestermaxx he was genuinely funny and had a good amount of friends.
One thing he never had was luck with women. My friend who was 5'7" (second dead guy in this story sadly) had been dating a girl for awhile and convinced her to give our dwarf friend a blowjob at some party; this guy had a good social life with friends who loved him but the females never reciprocated. He accepted and I think that was the only sexual experience he ever had in life before he passed away in 20s. My 5'7" friend said she should fuck him afterwards but I don't think they did and I think it was my shorter friend who turned it down.
RIP to him, I actually hadn't thought about him in years but he was in my dream that last night which is when I got to thinking about all this.
With his height and health issues I don't think he was ever going to be in a long term relationship (and some people found his sense of humor kind of brash - he was blackpilled long before the blackpill existed and talked mad trash about girls but our friend group found the whole thing hilarious. That is another thing I only notice with hindsight.

Welcome to today’s briefing.
We are on the cusp of welcoming a new sentient species into the greater Galactic Community and this briefing is to give you the core knowledge needed to prepare you, and your teams, for the First Contact Event and the subsequent orientation diplomacy that, as always, follows such a existential shattering of the younger sentient species of the cosmos.
This species comes from a world with a robust biosphere with a significantly larger-than-median level of biodiversity. Its natural satellite is both unusually large and unusually low in density compared to the parent planet. While we have seen its like before we have never seen its like before around a world that developed a rich biosphere which generated intelligence.
The star is a boring yellow star but, interestingly enough, from the surface of the planet the natural satellite and the star appear the same size in the sky, allowing for a fairly unique celestial event to occur on this world; their language calls it an “eclipse.” Again, this is the only world that has developed intelligent life where such a phenomenon happens as, all of the other worlds, have a variance in perceived size between any natural satellites and their hosting star.
Their sentient species, again, unlike anywhere else, has a massive variance in the skin tone despite the consistency in their form and function of their bodies. Which, by the way, as you can see from this image, look remarkably like several of the other sentients species in the galaxy, thus re-affirming the reality of convergent evolution to create the same form to meet the same needs. Side note: this world seems to have several thousand species of crabs, which we all know are the most commonly evolved form on every world we have ever explored.
Their cultures are incredibly varied, far more so than any other individual world that has risen to join our ranks. We believe this is to accommodate the vast array of environments presented by their world’s unique configuration. None of their cultures are vastly different from ones we already know, but the collection of them, as a whole, developing independently on a single world is fascinating. As such we will be deploying anthropology teams to each of the regions and invest far more in understanding this world than we have ever had to do. The assignments and details, as well as briefings of the specific cultures you will be greeting, are as follows:

One last note of the greatest importance. This world is densely population. EVERY species on this world reproduces at a greater rate than anything we have seen before. We are certain this has led to the great biodiversity and the borderline overpopulation of the world as a whole. Our preliminary findings imply heavily, though our anthropology teams, that a unique evolutionary development has occurred on this world, in its primordial stages, to spread throughout the entire biosphere. At this point I'm just abusing some poor low level support person who can't do anything because YouTube's system is so broken.
I've submitted a couple different counter notifications, but YouTube refuses to forward them on to the claimant, which would start the legal process. The Claimant would then have 10 days to file suit in court, and if not the video would be restored. However, I can't submit a good counter notification as I don't know exactly what the claimant is alleging we are using (is it the edits of the play? is it the stage direction? etc etc). Once I know what they are claiming, then I can explicitly show that he has no legitimate claim.
I welcome and relish this matter going to court, because I know a copyright troll would never actually go to court, and even if it did get there the courts would side with the organization using material that was in the public domain several centuries before public domain was even a thing.
I'm getting the feeling that this will take months of back and forth with YouTube, and that my time would be better spent finding a couple hundred bucks to have a competent copyright lawyer deal with YouTube on our behalf.
I am committed to getting this matter resolved, I strongly believe that our organization should definitely fight trolls like this who are limiting people's access to Shakespeare and also abusing the copyright system.

And before everyone starts saying “wahhh if you don’t like the pod don’t listen” i do like the pod, I care about the pod, and I’m bored right now. Hence this post.

I’ve always been really into ghost stories, or urban legends in general. The White Lady, haunted dolls, vampires, black eyed children, that kind of stuff. I know that, today, people my age aren’t big fans of that kind of horror anymore, preferring it things like the Backrooms, analog horror, all the new kinds of scary media. Honestly, I get it, things do need to evolve, and when we see everything that’s happening in the world, it’s understandable that a good old ghost story don’t do the job anymore.

Still, the “old fashioned” horror (it’s not that old, but things move fast on the internet) is always my jam. I grew up watching youtubers investigating haunted places, ghost hunting, with all their accessories, EMF meters, their little radio thing that they use to listen to radio frequencies so that they can hear any interference, their antenna that beeps when something approaches it, voice recorders, special flashlights, and let me tell you that all this, it was doing it for me.

So, since my, probably 7 years, I dreamt of doing these things myself. Of course, I tried everything a young boy is able to do, like Ouija or stupidly walking around my house with my phone filming, hoping that some random deceased person with unfinished business will show up to, I don’t know, have a chat. I wish I could say that other people’s judgement doesn’t affect me, but that would be a lie, so, going in to high school, I had to socially tone down my interest for those things in order to have friends. None of my friends and classmates knew about my persisting passion for ghosts and creepy stories.

I realize that keeping this such a secret is a bit ridiculous, especially approaching my 18^th birthday, but, you know, it would be even weirder to reveal it after hiding it for almost 6 years like it was something super taboo. So here I was, I started hiding my passion at 12 to avoid other’s judging it, and I’m now still hiding it at 17 to avoid others judging the fact that I hid it… A bit pathetic I got to admit.

Anyway, everything started a few days ago. I have an art history class at school and the teacher really likes to give us big works of research. This time, he had a new idea, the whole class will be divided into groups of two, and each group will receive a building from our city that the teacher had choose for his architectural and artistic interests, and we’ll have to give it a visit and write an analysis on the different things we’ll notice and link it to what we saw in class. Since all the buildings were not public places, he had asked the authorization of every property’s owner.

Honestly, this could have been worse. This actually sounded kinda cool to do. Now, what I was concerned about was who will be my partner. Obviously, I was hoping for one of my friends. After explaining the rules and exact instructions for the work, he started to announce the groups. I was waiting to hear my name, anxious, as all my friends were slowly starting to be put into their groups.

“Joshua!” The teacher said (yeah that’s my name). “You will be with…” I was holding on to my chair. “… Elizabeth!”

I turned to Elizabeth, and we looked at each other. Neither one of us seemed excited. It wasn’t a terrible pair, I thought to myself, I just didn’t know what to think of it exactly. Elizabeth was a pretty popular girl, not that I was an outcast or anything, but she was still way more popular than me. I didn’t know much more about her, despite the fact that we were in the same class since my first year of high school, but it looked like she was going to be an okay partner.

The teacher then gave us our building. I won’t reveal the real name of what he gave us so I’ll call it “Guaraldi’s Street 22”. Apparently, it was a pretty old house that had somewhat of an historic value to it. The teacher gave us some information so we wouldn’t stumble there without any prior knowledge. The owner was an old woman who had always lived there. She was apparently very glad to open her doors to young students and was ready to answer any questions we could have. He warned us that she had a weak audition and that we would have to speak loudly. The teacher then recommended us to do a little bit of research before going there, so we could already have some idea of where we were entering.

I then found myself in front of Elizabeth. I think the last time we even talked to each other was months ago when she was distributing a test to the class and that I said “Thanks”, so, yeah, not a lot of background. I noticed, and I don’t know why it took me so long, I guess I never paid much attention to her, that she was dressed in kind of an old style, she wore some clearly used dungarees. The date the teacher had scheduled for our visit was on Sunday, and we were Thursday.

“So, hum, I guess, we can both do research on our side, and we’ll meet, maybe at lunch break tomorrow to get on the same page. Is that good for you?” She asked me.

“Yeah, that’s good, we can do that.”

“Okay, then, see you tomorrow.” She said.

“See you.”

On that she turned her feet and left for her break. The rest of the day went by and I got back home. As usual, my mom wasn’t there, she often has to work late as she’s a single mom to me and my little sister Rosa. I ate my diner and went to my room. I opened my computer to start my research. It wasn’t hard to find information, even though things were repeating themselves a lot: “so much historical meaning for the city”, “a perfect example of “art-deco” architecture”, “a house filled with stories”. There was a lot of talk by local medias about it, but not much actual facts.

It was so weak, that I had to go to page 2 of the search results on google, or, as I like to call them, “the abyss of the internet” (I’m exaggerating a bit, but it’s not often that you have to go there).
Then, something caught my eyes. It was a forum about paranormal experiences, and the address was mentioned on a post. I immediately clicked on it and read the whole thing. It wasn’t exactly the most thrilling story I’ve read, but here’s what it basically said.

Apparently, the owner opened the house as a cottage during the summer, and the person posting was narrating what he experienced during his passage there. He described a very special and kinda suffocating vibe that was apparently all around the house, and the feeling of being observed all the time. He also talked about hearing voices at random moments. They were brief but often mentioned his name. The end of his testimony talked about his last night, when he said he saw a little child with no facial expression in front of his bed, who slowly started to climb into it and grabbed his legs, trying to pull him outside of his bed. The poster said he eventually succeeded to push the kid away, despite his unreal strength, and that the boy ended up running out of the room, laughing. When he spoke to the owner about it the next morning, she said that it must have been his imagination playing tricks on him, as she didn’t believe in paranormal and that nothing similar ever happened to her.

This wasn’t much, it could have been a complete lie, but I would be lying if I said it didn’t peak my curiosity. The story was as basic as it could be, but it was so specific for it to happen in that place, which was absolutely not famous, and even less for any paranormal events. I kept that in the back of my mind and continued my research, but I didn’t find much more, so I went to sleep.

As I was lying in my bed, I was thinking. What if the person who posted his story said the truth. This was the first time I was going to enter somewhere that old and charged with history, this could be the perfect place for my first ghost-hunt. But of course, I was going for school and won’t be alone, plus, it’s not really respectful to the owner, who kindly opened the doors of her family house to us. And even if I wanted to, I’d be constantly with Elizabeth, so, it was not really an option. I looked at the EMF meter I received for a birthday on my shelf and thought to myself that this would be for another time.

The next day, as planned, I met with Elizabeth at lunch break. We started to share the results of our research, where I did not include the post from the forum for obvious reasons. We talked a bit before coming to a clear conclusion.

“Yeah, the thing is, we have the same exact stuff, there isn’t much interesting infos to be found online, except very surface level stuff.” She said.

“Yes, I think we should prepare the questions we want to ask the owner instead.” I answered.

“You’re right, do you think you can have yours for Sunday?”

“Yeah, no problem.”

We exchanged a bit more and eventually went back to class.

On Saturday, I prepared a few questions to ask the owner.

Then came today, Sunday. The meeting was planned at 11AM. I woke up normally, took a breakfast, got dressed, everything. Before leaving my room, I took one last look at the room and I saw my EMF meter. It was like he was begging me to take him. I grabbed it and left. I didn’t know if I would actually use it, but I had it. It had an option where instead of lighting the small lamps he was vibrating, so I activated that and put it in my pocket.

I arrived at the house and Elizabeth was already waiting for me. We knocked and we could hear the owner walking towards the door saying “Yes, yes, just a second.” She opened and she looked like the sweetest thing ever. She was short and had a naturally kind face. We could see that she was clearly dressed and make up for the occasion. She welcomed us and let us in happily. The hallway was very pretty, I understood why our teacher got us this house, it was indeed very interesting. The walls were covered with paintings and old pictures, mostly portraits. On everyone of these, the people had a very serious look, but that’s not unusual for old pictures.

We walked to the living room where she served us tea and we sat together.

“So, I think you have some questions for me?” She asked. You could see that she was very glad to talk. “Don’t be shy, I’m open.”

Elizabeth started to ask her first question then I did, and we could ask her everything.

The house was her family’s for many generations, but it hadn’t always been theirs. All the persons in the hallway, paintings or pictures, were previous habitants of the house, and they went as far as the 15th century, so, yeah, it was all pretty old. She said they could only know the identity of some of the first generations but that a lot of the people were non identified. She answered a lot of other questions regarding the architectural and artistic heritage of the building, and she was surprisingly very interesting to listen to. Her enthusiasm and kindness were contagious, and we both couldn’t help but ask more questions.

Eventually, we arrived to the end of our list, and it was time for us to visit, take notes, analyze, all that. She asked us not to touch anything, as a lot of things had a lot of value, but let us wander free in the house. She said she’ll be making cookies for when we’ll be done. Elizabeth and I found ourselves alone in the living room and finished our tea.

“God,… She’s adorable.” Said Elizabeth with a smile.

“Yes, she’s so sweet, I wasn’t expecting that.” I said.

“Let’s, maybe start with there.” She said, pointing to the room besides us.

We got up and entered it. The walls were covered by huge bookshelves. Elizabeth started to take notes, looking at the room, and I started inspecting the books. There was probably a more than a thousand books, and some of them looked super old. I read the titles of some of them, and the least I could say was that it needed to be rearranged. “Cooking Asian Food”, “Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince”, some old book with the title erased, and even a CD in the middle, it was a bit random.

We eventually moved on to the hallway. It was a bit oppressing with all those eyes who seemed to observe us. Elizabeth did mention how it felt a bit weird and we started to take notes again. At some point, my look stopped on one painting at the back of the hall. It was a young lady, dressed classically, maybe a bit poorly even, for someone who would have lived there. She was kinda pretty, if I’m being honest. But the reason why it caught my eyes was that it was the only one who was smiling. All the other people represented looked dead serious, but her, she smiled. A sweet, even caring and warm smile. I noticed that it seemed like she was staring at me. Of course, a lot of paintings give that same impression, but it was more intense on her.

My heart skipped a beat. I was sure that I just saw her winked to me. I let out a gasp. I was convinced she winked at me. The vibe went from slightly oppressive to extremely heavy. Then we both heard it.

“Elizabeth.”

An unrecognizable voice had just whispered. Elizabeth turned to me.

“Did you say that?” She asked.

“Elizabeth.”

A younger voice this time. We were facing each other, so we knew it couldn’t be one of us this time, and the owner was in the kitchen. Elizabeth’s eyes opened wide and she slowly walked towards me.

“Elizabeth.”

She jumped.

“WHAT THE… fuck?” I let out. We were looking around us.

“Joshua, I don’t like this…”

“Yeah, me neither.”

We were frozen in place, with all the paintings looking right to us.

“Elizabeth.”

That time it was a deep voice, and it came from behind us. We turned. Slowly, all the faces of the paintings and pictures started to clearly move. They were opening their eyes wide and opening their mouths, maintaining their serious, and now even melancholic look.

“Holy shit, holy shit, what the fuck is that, what is it!” Elizabeth was mumbling, panicking as I was starting to breathe faster.

All the people started to say her name together on repeat: “Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Elizabeth…” I turned my head to the painting of the young lady from earlier, and she was the only one that wasn’t moving, still the same smile, she looked at peace.

I don’t remember exactly what I was whispering at that moment, but we were both freaking out.

We heard some scratching noise. Long, dirty hands with sharp nails, almost inhumans, were piercing the pictures and paintings. The eyes of the people were becoming all black, and their jaws were opening more than humanly possible as they kept on repeating her name. The hands were all getting closer from us. We were now touching one another, completely surrounded by those hands. Then, they moved way faster and a lot of them got their nails right into Elizabeth’s skin and pierced it while descending all over her body.

She screamed loudly out of pain. It was a terrifying scream. All the hands got to their pictures and back inside of it while closing what they pierced. Soon, the pictures and paintings were back to normal, but Elizabeth was bleeding from all over her body and was on the floor, crying. I got to her level and tried as much as possible to reassure her, but I wasn’t very effective as I was myself in shock and terrified.
We heard the owner walk towards us.

“What’s happening to you two? I heard screams, are you okay?”

She entered the hallway and saw the scene. She looked completely shocked.

“But what happened?” She asked.

Both of us were unable to answer to her, we had no idea what to say that wouldn’t make us sound crazy, so we just looked at her with whatever faces we were making at that moment. She didn’t wait long and went to take a first aid kid. She sat down and put some bandages all over Elizabeth, as I was reflecting on what happened. When she was done, we both wanted to leave, so we said that we had what we needed for now. She looked sorry and packed some cookies for each of us. As we opened the door to leave, she articulated one last phrase.

“I hope you’ll come back.” She had a look and a tone of sadness. We got out and were now on the street.

We both looked at each other. She was covered in bands, like she got into a huge fight. I started to speak but she lifted her hand.

“Not today. Another one.” She said. “I’ll see you at school.” And she left.

I got on my way too and gave one last look to the house. The old owner was watching me from her window, and I couldn’t tell what her expression was.

I was too tired so I ignored it and went back to my house.

I’m posting this now that I’m back at home. I have no news of Elizabeth, but she did add me on Instagram, so…

I have no idea what I should do now, I have so many questions, so, if anyone has any theories, I’ll take it. I’m also open to questions of course…

Okay so in the latest Sam and Colby video with The Boys, earlier on as soon as noises started happening, Sam went out of his way to specify that they do not have their producers here. I thought that was one weird comment to make but in light of the controversy of Conjuring Hell Week series where their producer walked up the stairs from the basement after they claimed they were absolutely “alone”… so it’s not surprising to hear them try to cast all doubts aside.
But instead of saying so and expecting us to take their word for it, why don’t they prove it? Does the Geelong Gaol have a check-in sheet for registered guests? The names of people who attended that night on a paid invoice (just black out the info and show the names of people attended so we know it’s just Sam, Colby and The Boys)? Did they all have to sign a waiver?
Also, maybe Sam and Colby didn’t bring their producer but that’s not to say that The Boys didn’t have their producers or assistants with them behind the scenes, like they did for The Boys collab video?
Why didn’t they set up a static cam in the morgue where the music box was pointed at, where the noises were coming from?
Having a static cam could’ve easily added legitimacy to their video and ruled out anyone in the morgue making noise. It’s small things like this that annoys me especially when Sam and Colby used to set up static cams in past investigations.
I wonder if the ghosts knew that it was the girls (from The Boys) making noises and that’s why it said that lol. I just thought it would be funny if the ghost were calling them out.
Also after the music box goes off after Narrator asks a question, the next clip that is shown at 1:25:34 estes method, Colby says “there’s someone in front” …of the music box? Maybe I’m just reading too much into it lol
