interview with Hanun Hanrapetutyan party leader Arman Babajanyan: Germany & Blinken, border delimitation, opposition Archbishop's meeting with his boss Catholicos

REPORTER: What can you tell us about the meeting in Kazakhstan?
BABAJANYAN: Azerbaijan was initially refusing the launch the border delimitation unless Armenia withdrew from the 2.5 Soviet-era Azeri villages. This Tavush delimitation process began during the [February] meeting in Berlin, after which Pashinyan announced that Armenia had to transfer the 2.5 villages. Blinken visited Paris and discussed this issue with Macron, followed by a joint press conference in which the French FM accused Azerbaijan of occupying Armenian territories. Blinken called Aliyev, and for the first time, Azerbaijan very openly vowed to continue the process based on the 1991 Almaty principles.
This is when we learned that the Armenian side was finally able to sway Azerbaijan and to organize the transfer of these 2.5 villages not as a one-sided concession, which is what Azerbaijan initially demanded, but to include them as part of a wider Almaty delimitation agreement (April 19), which is what Armenia wanted.
The 1991 Almaty declaration was one of the few cards in Armenia's hands and that is what Armenian diplomacy has been focused on since the September 2022 invasion, after Russia refused to help and Armenia decided to use the Almaty as a legal tool to pressure Azerbaijan with the help of West in Prague. After two years of intense diplomatic efforts, we were able to reach an agreement (April 19) with Azerbaijan around Almaty principles. However, Azerbaijan continues to resist the inclusion of Almaty in the larger peace agreement, while Armenia continues to negotiate for its inclusion.
I have internal information that the Armenian opposition's protests to the 1991 Almaty process have had no effect on the diplomatic efforts. Kazakhstan stepped in and made the 1991 Almaty declaration even more symbolic and stronger by providing a platform for negotiations. Armenia must treat Kazakhstan as a potential economic and political partner in Central Asia. The news of President Tokayev's trip to Yerevan was met with pain in Baku because Kazakhstan is a member of Turkic states.
This delimitation process is accompanied by several geopolitical developments that have a direct impact on the future of Russia's influence in the South Caucasus. (1) The April 5 meeting radically changed Armenia's weight category. (2) The outcome of the Pashinyan-Putin meeting: withdrawal of Russian forces from the AM-AZ border, in addition to Zvartnots Airport.
In 1988, Soviet Armenia and Soviet Azerbaijan went through a whole set of legal procedures to conduct a border delimitation and demarcation. It's no coincidence that Nikol Pashinyan emphasizes the need to "reproduce" the borders. In 1988, Soviet AM and AZ used topographic maps to confirm 95% of the border - around 1050 kilometers. Today they are trying to stay as close to this as possible.
I'm not a fan of direct AM-AZ talks without a Western mediator, but we know that Blinken is being briefed daily on this process so it's one of the topics at the center of his attention. The West has welcomed the delimitation process. The West is "present" as long as the process is based on Almaty principles. As for Russia, they are more cautious towards this Almaty delimitation because Russia itself is violating Almaty in Ukraine.
REPORTER: Why do you find it important to minimize Russia's physical presence in Armenia?
BABAJANYAN: (1) Russian presence did/does not protect Armenia from external threats. (2) Russian forces are a potential threat to Armenia's internal stability. We've witnessed hybrid warfare attacks from Russia and the use of Russian agents in Armenia's internal political life. I can't rule out the possibility of Russia using its forces in Armenia to resolve its problems. (3) Russian border agents were preventing Armenian citizens from moving from one Armenian settlement to another Armenian settlement, within Armenia. They were also preventing Armenian journalists and EU border observers from entering certain regions.
Russia's main ally in the South Caucasus is animosity and bloodshed. If we are able to involve the international community in this delimitation process, if we are able to deploy a contingent of Armenian border guards equipped with modern monitoring tech across the border, and I know for a fact that the West wants to help Armenia with this, then I don't see why it won't be possible for Armenia to guard its own borders.
REPORTER: You mentioned a possible intervention by Russian forces into Armenia's internal affairs. What did you mean?
BABAJANYAN: The forced removal of the Pashinyan administration with the use of the 102nd Russian military base, if they realize there is no other way to accomplish that. They have ranking officials like Dmitri Medvedev, who is the deputy head of NatSec, writing posts that convey the Russian government's stance towards the Armenian government and Armenia's European aspirations.
REPORTER: But how can we have peace with Azerbaijan if they are talking about Armenia being "Western Azerbaijan"?
BABAJANYAN: What Aliyev says with the intention of stirring things up in Armenia and feeding his own population should not hold Armenia back from doing what's best for Armenia. Azerbaijan's agreement to accept the Almaty principles was a big concession by Azerbaijan. Prior to that, every time Armenia would slightly hint at Almaty, Azerbaijani figures would raise vaynasoon and sharply rebuke Armenia.
Azeris were bringing arguments against the 1991 Almaty. (1) They [and Armenian's parliamentary opposition party ARF] argued that Azerbaijan did not ratify the 1991 Almaty in 1992. (2) They argued that Armenia violated Almaty by entering Lachin during the first war to protect ethnic Armenians. However, as of right now, there are serious internal political developments in Azerbaijan after Aliyev's recent statement on recognizing Armenia's territorial integrity and acceptance of Almaty as the principle for border delimitation. This was a diplomatic accomplishment by Armenia, backed by the international community's support. Aliyev's occasional outbursts of maximalist rhetoric do not help the process, of course, but it's part of a hybrid warfare against Armenia. I'm surprised we have so many analysts in Armenia who still fall for it and help Aliyev while ignoring Armenia's accomplishments on Western platforms.
REPORTER: There are protests in Armenia led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan. They demand Pashinyan's resignation.
BABAJANYAN: There is nothing complicated here. I know quite well where this movement originated from, how it got big, and who the forces are behind this process. Initially, they did not publicly demand for PM's resignation, before suddenly demanding it on Republic Square. I think this is an "apolitical" movement because it lacks a political program. The figures behind this process perhaps believe the public is naïve and doesn't understand what's happening. The beneficiaries of this movement are not on the stage; they are elsewhere, including outside of Armenia [in Russia]. They have attempted coups since 2018 because they are terrified of elections.
As a former [churchman], I have insider sources from the church. Yesterday I met ranking clergy figures and I've been informed about the internal situation, what the majority of archbishops think, and what happened yesterday at 7 pm.
REPORTER: What happened at 7 pm?
BABAJANYAN: A meeting by ranking church officials. They urged the Catholicos [big boss] to take steps to prevent the escalation of this process. No surprise that they held it at 7 pm. They essentially waited to see how many people would show up at the Republic Square protest [the number was reportedly 3x smaller than previously]. They recognized that their "holy movement" was dying down and Catholicos himself understood that it was necessary to stop Archbishop Bagrat. The Catholicos said that he plans to speak with Bagrat on Sunday and convince him to end his participation in this movement. The Catholicos will thank Bagrat for his service, and for leading people, and will urge Bagrat to hand over the movement to politicians. Bagrat will be asked to return to serve in his church in Tavush. How Bagrat will respond to this, and how the supreme leadership of the church will respond, will likely become clear on Monday after the second meeting of ranking churchmen.
Other archbishops are very concerned about the events in Yerevan and its impact on the church's reputation and future developments. Archbishop Bagrat has opened Pandora's Box and granted the government the legitimate right to also intervene in the church's internal affairs, including financial and material processes, something that the state has so far left untouched. It won't be a problem now for the state to investigate the church's revenue sources and donations. I think it's time to tax the income from parafin sales and other sources.
The Catholicos informed the other archbishops that he was not behind the march launched by Bagrat and that he only "blessed" Bagrat's efforts limited in Tavush. Catholicos also told archbishops that he urged Bagrat to stay with Tavush villagers, serve them, and amplify their voices. In other words, Catholicos says he has no participation in the "march". This is according to ~10 archbishops with whom I spoke. I believe them. I believe Catholicos did not take part in this process. Perhaps Bagrat thought his actions were helping the church so he decided to claim that he had the Catholicos's "blessing".
Sure, Catholicos could have called and asked Bagrat to retract it, or perhaps Catholicos legitimately thought Bagrat could succeed in his "holy struggle" and in bringing back Kocharyan. Kocharyan's circles are actively discussing the candidacy of ex-Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan, who is a favorite of former regime forces.
I believe Catholicos and Bagrat have already met today [Bagrat later said it's a normal practice to regularly meet Catholicos but claims they have not discussed the ongoing protests...]. I hope Bagrat will announce how he plans to end his mission. If you remember, he said earlier that he has no plans to take part in this process forever and that it's a matter of "few days" for him.
The timing of this movement is not a coincidence. For Russia, the target is May 15, when border commissions led by Mher Grigoryan and Mustafayev must sign the Protocols to be ratified by parliaments. If they manage to derail this process, Azerbaijan will use it as a chance to exit the border delimitation process that's based on Almaty principles. The West "forcefully" brought Azerbaijan to this negotiation table, so if Armenia walks away, Azerbaijan could use it as an excuse to carry out more aggression. This delimitation is the biggest diplomatic achievement of the Pashinyan administration in 6 years.

The MP Alexanyan accused ARF of inciting violence and using a rhetoric towards Pashinyan that's 80% similar to the rhetoric they used before the assassination of PM Vazgen Sargsyan in 1999.
He also accused the Archbishop-led protest of being "fascist" after one of the speakers said, "Those who are not Armenian should leave this country" [presumably "Turks"]. Another opposition speaker thanked the ethnic minority supporters who joined them.

Armenia's car insurance market has been liberalized

REPORTER: The car insurance market was liberalized a year ago. Instead of fixed prices, companies offer their own prices now. The monitoring body, the Motor Insurance Bureau, reviewed the outcome a year later.
BUREAU: The outcome meets our expectations and we are satisfied. The practice of other countries shows that liberalization can briefly raise the prices before it's reduced by competition, but we didn't see a price hike in Armenia.
REPORTER: The prices were reviewed twice over the last year. Initially, it dropped too much amid a competition between firms trying to attract clients. The coverage also improved for motorists, raising the size of average compensation.
BUREAU: That's why the second correction was made, raising the prices. Still, the price [premiums] is 2% lower and the size of compensation is 17% larger than before the liberalization. It meets our expectations.

None of these white people would speak to the press during that early period, and very few of the Chinese would, either. They were being blackmailed. The Americans have known what the Chinese have been doing, for three-quarters of a century, and they continue to refuse to stop it, because XitteFacebook/Alphabet are the only vile websites that are literally propping up their delusional "infinite growth" economy. Last night I dreamt of an old flame from my past having the nose of a pig. What is the symbolism behind this? I do not have any feelings for him nor do I wish to rekindle anything. It’s interesting that his girlfriend, who I’ve never met, sent me a random friend request on Facebook later on in the day today after i had that dream.

Bosnian football isn't that of the highest quality. The football played is mediocre for the most part, the refs are terrible, and there's not much to write about at first sight. Our coefficient puts us just below Faroe Islands and above Liechtenstein. It's a 12-team league, and the stranger might be oblivious as to why would anyone, local or not, every find this league interesting.
But, inside this small league there's excitement, tension, eccentric owners, politics, match-fixing and drama like you wouldn't believe. From Yaya Toure getting rejected, to Edin Dzeko being deemed untalented, the hilariousness never ends.
There are plenty of stories worth sharing, but today we'll talk about the most recent fanhood drama with politics & ethnic divisions ingrained into it.
Intro
The story takes us to Mostar. It's a city located in the south of Bosnia & Herzegovina. Small in global, but relatively big city in national terms. A city of just 80.000 residents is a host to two first-division football clubs - Velez and Zrinjski.
The history of these two clubs deserves a book in itself. Velez was a beloved club in Yugoslavia until the war, often cited as everyone's favorite second team in Yugo, as the red colors and traditionally offensive football won over the crowds all over the big old country. In midst of its glory in 1981, a fan group called Red Army was created.
Unfortunately, with the war in the 90s, Velez's stadium in the center of the city was forcefully taken away by the Croat army, and thus, Zrinjski was born.
Founded in 1994, Zrinjski represented Croatians in Bosnia. They also created an ultras group appropriately named Ultras. Their members mostly lived in Western part of the city, with Velez's Red Army inhibiting the Eastern part of Mostar, and those two sides are, since the war, nominal ethnic line between Bosniaks (East) & Croats (West). Again, this isn't exclusive, but it's fair to say that 90% of the members live in their respective sides of the city.
As you might imagine, the tensions in the city over the years were pretty high, especially amongst the two ultras groups. Generally, Zrinjski was a more successful club since the war, boasting eight league titles to Velez's none. With Zrinjski soaring, Velez was on a path to recovering, faced with the prospect of building a completely new stadium on the outskirts of the city. However, After 20 years of mostly suffering, Velez started to rise back and is looking as strong as ever in the post-war period. The derbies are even more fierce and the tensions are higher than they were. The division is everyhwere. There's obviously Bosniak-Croat division, but the fascist/anti-fascist narrative was even greater up until recently when Zrinjski was taken over by a Jewish owner , so they stopped promoting swastika (hence this provocation from Velez fans in the recent derby). And so we get to the story.
The flags
As any ultras group, both Red Army and Ultras have their flags they proudly hang on the matchday. With plenty of symbolism, subgroups, and meanings, the flag is a symbol for ultras group identity.
In the beginning of the season, Zrinjski qualified for the Conference League group stage, a historic feat for Bosnian football. To add to the triumph, they were drawn in the same group as Aston Villa. With the Villains traveling to Mostar, their supporters followed suite, and so the Englishmen found themselves in this unstable ground. Long story short, Red Army (Velez supporters) managed to take away the flags of Villa's ultras, and hanged them upside down in their own league match. This isn't really relevant to the story, but it's an ominous sign of what's to come.

At the beginning of March, three Velez supporters (unrelated to Red Army) were travelling home from a match when a group of ~20 Ultras stopped their card, and battered the boys, shutting down a flame on their back amongst other things. This caused an uprising as it was viewed as Croats attacking Bosniaks, especially considering that the boys played for Velez in their youth and didn't have anything to do with the inner-city fighting.
There was a few days of relative silence when on the 10th of March - shockwaves were sent through the city - Red Army stole every single flag from Ultras (~17), barring the one that wasn't hanged on that matchday. To make matters worse, this happened just a few days before Ultras' birthday. Namely, a few guys from Red Army figured out the route from the stadium towards the apartment where all the flags were kept. So, after Zrinjski's match ended, they followed the guy from the apartment and surrounded him just before he got to his apartment. Losing your flags is the biggest humiliation in the ultras world. And while the action with Villa fans wasn't honorable or extraordinary, this certainly was as it was an unprecedented event to happen in a city rivarly.
This led to extreme reactions, from open threats to the major criticizing the Red Army for taking the flags. The silence lasted for days, and Ultras looked like they would honor the unwritten rule and cease to exist as a group.
That is, until a few days ago when an even bigger shock happened.
In a movie-worthy heist, Ultras put together a group of about five professional criminals and sneaked into the house where Red Army kept all of their flags (~70), tied the family of the guy keeping the flags, collected them all and left. There's even a video recording from CCTV.
Ultras have also recorded the flags in an open field. Nobody knows what's in store next. Each ultras group has the flags of the other one in this unprecedented standoff.
Football stuff
As a sidenote, Zrinjski won the cup yesterday, making it the third consecutive time Mostar takes home the cup (Velez in 2022, Zrinjski in 2023 & 2024) but nobody really cared because the players of the two finalists (Croat and Serb-based clubs) turned their heads away when the national anthem was played with both sets of fans whistling it. So, the finalists hate the country they're playing the final in and everyone else hates the finalists so it's quite an interesting situation to be in.*
EDIT: Zrinjski did not, in fact, win the cup yesterday because the rules are adjusted now so that the cup final is two-legged. It wasn't like that for the past few years, but having a final played in a neutral stadium was too much fun, so the federation put clamps on it.
Nevertheless, Bosnians don't let shit football and sporting activities get in the way of the interesting stuff as we await the next chapter of this fascinating story.

Love Joy Trump doesn't leave us hanging in this regard - the hundreds of pages of prayerful right-wing appeals to heaven all lead up to this moment where the tangibility question is answered at the low, low cost of our grip on reality.
Christine Preston, with the help of Mother Mary, the "Archangel Michael and her Ascended Twin Flame Andre whom she knew as a cousin till he passed away in 1972," has been in contact with Ashtar Command. Ashtar Command, as I explained in Part I, is the air division of the Great White Brotherhood, which are affiliated with the Galactic Federation of Light. The depth of this affiliation is not explained.
Christine is in on "The Plan," as Q would say, and has dutifully transcribed and dated all communications she has received from the aforementioned heroes on the astral plane. On 18 February, 2016, Archangel Michael warned Christine of great upheaval to come in the United States. This came as a great surprise to her, because she's British. What did not bring great surprise to her was Archangel Michael contacting her at all, which is apparently a common occurrence.

"This turn of events will be deserved by those who have betrayed the trust of a Nation that was to be an example of democracy with a Constitution inspired by Saint Germain, and so dear to his heart... Mankind must be freed from its misconceptions, its mind set, and place its feet upon the path of enlightenment to recreate a civilization that will be represented in the Galactic Federation of Light. A new Gaia and golden age will then be recreated. We are all working together in unison, in a sacred relationship, to achieve this goal."

Only 10 days later, Christine was able to establish communication with the mother of Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, who confirmed that 9/11 was an inside job.
Christine heard from Archangel Michael again on 8 March of the same year. By this point, the war was already underway. Michael explained that the battlefront of the war for Earth's membership in the Galactic Federation of Light was...

"...in the psyche, but before explaining something about this I would like to mention that the forces of darkness, on the astral plane, are still attempting to sabotage the Ascension process and to influence political leaders, the Establishment, the military, and other groups in the financial and business sectors of the big Corporations, to avoid complying with the orders imposed upon them by the Forces of Light to go ahead with a program of Disclosure concerning truths that have been suppressed for more than a century."

ARE YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT YET???

"This is taking place behind the scenes of the political scenarios and you may feel that they make no sense any more. A phase of transition with changes on the political front and financial system will also be initiated, and it will take place because of some events in the USA that will affect the whole world in the sense that as a result the adverse influence from the astral world will be greatly lessened."

If this is where our story ended, Christine and I would still have a lot of questions. We would have been expecting a near immediate shift to 4th density, for instance. The war effort demands it, you see. Thankfully, Archangel Michael cropped back up to explain exactly why this hadn't happened yet. Christine said:

"Then on March 18, Archangel Michael spoke of something that would happen before it was called the shift to 4th density and explained that some of the events expected in 2012 had not taken place.
'we wanted to convert more souls to a higher frequency of vibration so they could continue to exist on Earth. This is a world in transition and it is being lifted up to a higher dimension in the sense that physicality will still exist but in an exalted way, much like what you think of a Garden of Eden, or Paradise. So on September 28 2015, something that had been expected to take place in December 2012, finally happened.'"

Well, that helped a little. But it's not the full picture. We now know why the Galactic Federation of Light would hesitate to make a major move, but not why they were hesitating in exactly this case. Despite the uncertainty, Christine didn't back down, even if there were unspecified setbacks in the galactic plan. Finally, on 22 March, Christine received word directly from headquarters:

"Dear ones, this is an Alert from Ashtar Command. We are approaching a time of difficulty because of the planetary adjustment that will take place with the process of Disclosure. The Earth has entered a most dense area of the Ring of Light that is called the Photon Belt, and the entire Solar System is being buffeted by electro-magnetic waves."

It ALL makes sense now! Ashtar Command elaborated further that the electro-magnetic waves are...

"...instrumental to the Great Awakening as the photonic light and gamma rays... are stripping the psyche of mankind of negative elements in much the same way as the circles and swords of Blue Flame of Archangel Michael, as well as of the Elohim Hercules and Astrea."

The amazing Archangel Michael had managed to get this message through to Christine even though he was at war with negative waves! Ashtar Command went on to state that Earth was to play a role in the manifestation of the Divine Will, and that "we were close to the goal because the planetary body had been swept by a flux of energy..." and with that, it sounded like the tide had turned!
But we weren't out of the woods yet, it seemed. Ashtar Command was able to describe the enemy's plans directly to Christine:

"They have tried various tactics to create a global conflict and weaponize space... They intended to use their holographic technology to stage an alien invasion such as the one of 'Independence Day' or 'The War of the Worlds.' They are being kept under surveillance of the Galactic Federation of Light and Ashtar Command would not allow it."

Ashtar Command ended their transmission by stating that "some replacement in power, in just a few months from now" would create favorable conditions for Disclosure; a keystone to entering the Golden Age as a planetary member of the Galactic Federation of Light. So close, yet so far. But hope was not yet dead.
On 29 March, Archangel Michael returned, evidently from his battle with negative waves, to inform Christine that...

"...Disclosure would take place God's Way and there would not be any delays. He explained again that the forces of darkness have created scenarios to create wars and are still attempting to incite conflicts, but are failing. He also said that the two first Waves of souls functioning in the realm of awakened consciousness were influencing the Media and political scene."

Nearly a month went by; a month for the Forces of Darkness to continue inciting conflicts to prevent humanity from ascending. We readers again face the grim reality that the Galactic Federation of Light's victory in the war for Earth's membership may not succeed, considering all the negative waves out there. But just when hope seemed lost Donald Trump was revealed, by none other than Christine's Ascended Twin Flame Andre, to be in on The Plan!

"About the Presidential Elections we are still saying that Donald Trump is going to win them. Of course, it's a very delicate matter to make such a prediction where you stand, but we have seen the certainties in the timelines. There is a situation with who is pulling the strings in the political scenes of the world... If the dark ones, the Illuminati, or Cabal, attempt to control him by threat, blackmail, or anything of the kind, we will be intervening with Ashtar Command, the air division of the Great White Brotherhood."

Andre also stated that The Cabal was being given the chance to "turn to the Light," and that the Galactic Federation of Light was officially endorsing Donald Trump because the Earthling leader would need to "possess great strength and stamina in the present circumstances." Unfortunately, the war was about to shift to a more physical theater - the political system of the United States, where Trump would have to fight the Establishment while the Galactic Federation of Light continued to assault the Dark Ones on the Astral Plane. Andre also clued Christine in on the significance of this turn of events.

"The Elections will play an important role in the changes that will not only transfigure the American Continent, but the whole world. The Earth is the planet that as to play a key role in the Ascension to bring physicality to a higher place."

Both the Astral and Physical theaters of the war continued their lively violence, the fate of Earth relying on the success of both Donald Trump and Ashtar Command. We could not afford a single mistake in these dire times. But sometime between Christine's Ascended Twin Flame Andre's last visit, and 29 April 2016, the Forces of Light experienced a breakthrough and were able to predict victory on the physical plane. Archangel Michael contacted Christine and delivered the news personally:

"The World is emerging into a better reality in which America will become the example the founding Fathers wanted it to be. It was Saint Germain's dream, and he is causing it to unfold at the moment, as the Dark is on the run."

We weren't out for the count yet, and nobody had counted on the great Saint Germain's personal involvement in the war. The Saint who inspired the Constitution had finally arrived on the battlefront. Christine addressed the public directly to update the people of Earth on the current status of the physical theater of the war:

"On May 5th, Mother Mary gave me a message entitled 'Prophesy regarding the Elections.' I had 35 videos published at the time and now the number is 83... I would like to inform you that on 28 February, I received a message from Mother Mary saying that Donald Trump will be the elected president. I didn't hesitate to post the message on my Facebook page..."

Christine fully briefed the public about her communications with her Ascended Twin Flame Andre, Archangel Michael, Mother Mary, and Ashtar Command, letting us know that Trump's victory was now certain in 2016, because the Forces of Light needed him to take on the Establishment, and that they did not choose him arbitrarily:

"They are not supporting him because he happens to be aligned with the Divine Will. No, it's like he has incarnated for this mission..."

Continuing to assure the public of inevitable victory, Christine went on to recount the transmissions she had received from Mother Mary, only this time it was about three times longer for some reason. Between May and June, Christine's Ascended Twin Flame Andre informed her that Trump had won the necessary delegates! IN MAY, 6 MONTHS BEFORE THE ELECTION! "Once the strings of control are totally severed the Leaders of the Nations will be freed to make changes to spread peace around the world," he said, also stating that the elections were particularly crucial "because it was the nefarious activities of the War Industries that caused the decline along the lines plotted for many decades by the Dark Forces."
By June, Christine was informing the public that she was making videos to disseminate symbolism to help in the war effort, since the American and British elections would only be the tip of the iceberg - a lot needed to be done before Disclosure. Christine had also begun to receive messages directly from Saint Germain himself:

"Saint Germain conveyed to me the idea that the individuals opposing and fighting the Establishment... are taking a hard beating. Certain Ascended Masters are connected with this struggle. So Saint Germain has asked me to make calls for those who are fighting a battle for Freedom and see if a video with some prayers can be produced. He is the Hierarch of this New Age of Aquarius and of Freedom."

Dutifully, Christine produced the requested video and began to rally the troops herself. She had gone from a simple recipient of messages to an officer in the Forces of Light, supported by Ashtar Command and Mother Mary. Christine, friend of the Archangel Michael, Twin Flame to her cousin Andre, and prayer warrior in an unholy war for Earth's membership in the Galactic Federation of Light, prepared a public address with the passion and conviction of Q himself, rolling back the curtain and revealing the true identity of Donald Trump who had won his first election 6 months in advance:

"Donald Trump will be President by destiny. He is a soul extension of Saint Germain, who is an expert in creating wealth and has a momentum of Light that permits him to win any battle or confrontation with the Dark ones. Keep in mind that extensions, or incarnations or great beings such as Masters, Archangels, and Star seeds, are still veiled and do not possess memory of who they are. I have permission to release this information at this time as we know there is no need to keep this a secret from Lightworkers any more. Saint Germain is the Hierarch of the Aquarian Age and is involved with the Project of Peace, Prosperity, and recreation of civilization, which will propulse [sic] mankind, and this planet, in a golden age era. He was the one who shouted 'Sign that document!' when the Founding Fathers hesitated and were about to introduce the Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc, in 1776... As we have said before, the time ahead is one of Disclosure and then of Transition, with healing and teaching, as well as contacts and great encounters with inner and outer types. We will be able to meet when you have reached a higher level than the present one upon which you dwell.
"Ahead and beyond 2016 is a time of reconstruction, of enlightenment, of teaching, of the creation of a new Gaia, a time of Great Disclosure to continue unveiling suppressed truths and discovering new spiritual Science, a time of using new technologies. It's a time when many will be busy with their sacred labors and a time of great discoveries in preparation for a destiny greater and more wonderful than you can yet imagine. It is one of Reunion of twin flames and of other relationships too, of Peace, and of growth, one of Great encounters and of supernatural experiences as you are all progressing upon the path of Ascension, and are discovering the wonders of your inner Selves...
"We are having a revolution in spirit and consciousness. The liberation comes from the 7th Ray of Saint Germain, and the impulse of cosmic energies projected to Earth in this Age of Aquarius, the Hierarch of which is Saint Germain, who has been known for centuries as the Count of Saint Germain and has a reputation as the 'man who never dies.'
"The Violet Transmuting Flame also is the energy of forgiveness that erases the records, their causes, cores and memories. Its liberating effects will also cause the restoration of the Rights relating to every human being in this time of Transition to a Quantum Leap to the Fifth Dimension... The Master Jesus explained that the group of souls which had not yet been anchored in the 5th dimension, as far as consciousness, perception, attitude, or spirituality, goes, would be fished in a net of the 5th dimension by waves of the photonic light by the end of the year, and he asked our motto be 'Broadcast Love.'"

And there we have it. Had it not been for Ashtar Command holding back the Forces of Darkness on the Astral Plane, the Forces of Light on Earth could never have beaten the Establishment. Had Saint Germain not incarnated as Donald Trump to beat the Establishment, Ashtar Command could never have held back the Forces of Darkness on the Astral Plane. All had fallen into place exactly as Saint Germain had planned, and while victory could not officially be declared until the war was won once and for all, thanks to the valiant war reporting of Christine and her rallying of prayer warrior patriots worldwide, we certainly would have admitted defeat by now.
Not all heroes fight the bad guys in the streets. Sometimes, you have to take them down on Facebook and YouTube. Christine realized that, and with the help of the scribe BethAnon you can now rest assured that the Astral Plane is safe thanks to none other than Donald Trump. When you are telling your children about this some day, and they ask you what it was like, remember to tell them that we won "bigly" as you give them a thumbs-up, and remind them to "Broadcast Love" as Master Jesus commands.

(I actually wrote this like three years ago as a Facebook rant of all things, but I felt like I could rewrite and repost it here since I see a lot of Injustice hate posts on this Subreddit, and want to throw a defense into the ring:)
I know a lot of people dislike Injustice because it’s a “Batman wank,” but I wanna make the legitimate argument that a huge part of the story is a critique of Batman. Namely, the fact that it’s mentioned explicitly once and implied constantly throughout the comic series that Superman is being motivated by Batman to do what he has. The reason he’s become this dictator figure is he’s finally started to adopt Batman’s methods, keeping people in line through fear rather than inspiring hope. The issue is this can’t work for Superman, because he has a lot more responsibility to be a symbol than Batman does (as Batman himself says in Injustice #11, as a response to the first scan pictured. Injustice 2 also has a scene where Jon Kent tells Batman that he was just as much an inspiration to Superman as vice versa, backing up the idea Batman corrupted him).
On the flip side of that, I think a huge part of Batman’s arc in this story is that, much like how Superman has taken his place, Batman is forced to take up Superman’s role as the world’s beacon of morality in response… And he can’t do it, because he’s a deeply flawed individual. One who still manages to do the right thing when it counts, but who nonetheless leads a toxic lifestyle and lacks the humanity that Clark has. And again, it’s Clark trying to follow Bruce’s methods that causes him to lose his humanity too.
Finally though, to get into the game itself, I think there’s a reason why it’s a good version of Superman who beats Superman as opposed to Batman himself. We saw Batman struggle for five years in the comics and yet this good Superman topples his regime within the span of 20 minutes. He completely deconstructs evil Superman’s morals in a way Batman never could, because Bruce subconsciously does agree with Clark’s views about using fear to keep people in line. The point of Injustice is that Superman as a character doesn’t need to be changed, and that changing him in any way (ie making him kill an enemy) could eventually lead to completely destroying what he needs to represent. And as for Batman, I think the story is a reminder that while there is good to be taken away from him, we should always remember he was intentionally meant as a flawed hero. Superman is a flawed human being like us all, but not a flawed hero.
I know and fully concede that ultimately Injustice’s story was just created as a reason for heroes to beat each other up in a fighting game, but I think that Tom Taylor and to a certain degree the game writers did add some value to why this story should exist. It’s not as great a deconstruction as say, Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, or Kingdom Come, but I don’t think Superman fans should despise it as much as they do when it does ultimately agree with their beliefs.

The first mistake is to think that America is a democracy, were not. We are what Jefferson termed a Oligarchy. I will tell you my view and opinion, as someone whos studied history especially war history my whole life. Also currently studying pre American history in depth and our system and politics. Not everyone will agree and that's great, its America. The first thing I will say is that Americans are being deceived and misled and brainwashed. The purpose of this is to play both extremes against the middle, to polarize, to distract, to divide, to heard the middle/sheep between the 2 great evils the woke vs the fascists where "they" want us to go which is where were headed. Not only on a political or social level but on a national level through the controlling of information which historically has always been the greatest psychological weapon of war. Information is not completely controlled in America, but the information most people are accessing is controlled, from internet search engines, to news, to social media platforms, to entertainment, the greatest psychological weapon is the information Americans are not aware of. The information Americans see from the media, or google or wherever, does not reflect the actual state of politics in America and I hope to demonstrate this with my argument. Lets start from the basics, how did we get here. For you republicans out their who will probably think I am a leftist, I will start by attacking the woke first and why they are so dangerous to our nations principles and Liberty. The woke movement in America has highjacked the original meaning and purpose of the feminist movement. Woke has waged a war on American principles that has caused a reactionary politic in opposition that falsely correlates peoples support for the LGBTQ and tolerance with wokeism. Most the people supporting the LGBTQ are not even aware of what the woke represents or the damage it has done. They perceive this reactionary force namely conservatives as intolerant bigots and yes their is a radical movement on the far right that does represent bigotry's and racism, but like the woke, does not actually reflect the vast majority of conservative Americans. Let me try to demonstrate this fact with just one issue "abortion." The vast majority of Americans support early stage abortions crossing party lines to include conservatives. Two-thirds of Americans say it should be legal in the first trimester 69%. That's roughly 13 weeks. Majorities oppose abortion being legal in the second (55%) and third (70%) trimesters. Again crossing party lines. This according to gallop. In other words most Americans for you democrats out their, are not supportive of the complete abortion bans that the radical right is pushing, and that movement does not reflect the reality of politics for the vast majority of conservatives. The propaganda to divide people, to radicalize, to polarize, to dehumanize and create division is working but its a lie. The vast majority of Americans are concerned about the same issues but see things through different lenses of controlled information, and both sides are being deceived. Back to the woke and what they represent today. The woke have pushed a infinity of political agendas and policies in the name of Equality and Equity that are fundamentally antithetical to freedom. Such as Hiring policies based on race, sexual preference, or gender. Such as University selection based on race, gender or sexual preference. The woke have also targeted children and parents rights, pushing policies to allow kids to make the most consequential decisions they could possibly make, including gender treatments and puberty blockers, at children's most vulnerable and unstable stages of development. without parental oversight or say, in fact trying to imprison parents in California who apposed this after finding out that schools were "educating children" on their rights to make such decisions, again all in the name of rights. But children cannot buy guns, or drugs, or make other consequential decisions, and this is far from the only communist gospel the woke are pushing. They are targeting free expression, that is speech which is not explicitly a threat or call for violence, but labeled offensive. Even rejecting terms like Women to be replaced with "Birthing person." Rejecting terms like rapist or murderer to be replaced with "persons involved in justice." This stuff is sickening to see and Dr. Phil does a good job on this in his book, WE’VE GOT ISSUES. The woke also want to disarm the population, stigmatizing self defense and guns, once a symbol of Liberty and the Inherent natural right to self defense. A people that cannot resist can and will always end in slavery and oppression. “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”― Benjamin Franklin. Those who are willing to sacrifice their liberty for temporary security are ultimately left with neither liberty nor security. Yes I am aware and consider gun violence to be a major issue that must be addressed but I consider shootings and crime, and suicide, and the declining birthrate to be mere symptoms of much greater problems including our predatory crony system, and the kinds of gun control being pushed does violate the constitution. Illinois banned every semi automatic weapon including pistoles basically every gun available. If their is a line between weapons of war and mass death and the second amendment that has not yet been settled, this is a gross violation of the right to self defense. Homicide was the largest single category of gun deaths among children and teens in 2021, accounting for 60% of the total that year. It was followed by suicide at 32% and accidents at 5%. Among U.S. adults, by contrast, suicides accounted for a 55% majority of gun deaths in 2021. A rise by 50 percent in 2 years. That's 3.5 per 100,000 people. This is far from everything the woke are doing but its a basic summary of some of what they are doing, which is antithetical to American Principle that People should be judged, and have opportunity based on merit alone and nothing else. The woke are pushing an equality of outcome at the expense of the rights of others, and Equal opportunity. They are waging a war on fundamental liberties and the Inherent Natural Rights of mankind. I shall now tackle the radical right, which honestly I have done more research on because many of our current issues do go back to the republicans of the 1970s 80's. Back then it was largely democrats representing American principles and a fair system, and human rights. The radical right, and how they have moved away from American principles. 2016 was a turning point in American history. Donald Trumps election shook the very foundations of the Union, beginning with a denial of foreign influence however inconsequential it was, and an assault on American principles. It has become very clear to former Republicans like myself who still admire Lincolns republican party and remain proud Democratic Republicans, that Trump did not challenge any real systemic corruption while in office. In fact Trump embodied the swamp, excepting dark Corporate money in huge sums. Trump successfully dismantled opposition to his rule in the Republican party, and now threatens the nation with another presidency promising vengeance against political opposition. Trump preaches hate and intolerance rarely seen in American politics, calling his opposition vermin, and embracing Marxist Leninist critical race theory, saying that immigrants are "poisoning the blood" of our nation. Something the republicans of yesterday, Condemned vehemently in support of a colorblind society. The American principle to judge people based on merit alone. Instead of Peace through Strength, Trump would go on to surrender US bases in Syria to Putin's troops, allowing Putin to further consolidate his support of dictator Assad. Trump would move the US embassy to Jerusalem ultimately taking sides in the Israel Palestine dispute, certainly contributing to the Israel Hamas war. Trump surrendered a stable Afghanistan which for the first time had basic human rights and liberty, education and opportunity. He threatened to withdraw from NATO, and other allies including South Korea, Poland and others. Trump gave North Korea international recognition in exchange for a photo, arguably the most repressive system on earth. He publicly declared Americas men and women in uniform liars, stating that dictator Putin was "Extremely Strong and powerful in his denial" after US intelligence exposed Russia's systematic interference in our democratic process. Trumps covid policies hollowed out the middle class. Trumps deregulation further crippled the governments ability to challenge Corporate power, and the corporate stranglehold and impoverishment of our Republic. Today every sector of the US economy is monopoly mirroring the very system which caused the American revolution, Corporations and State. Trumps presidency was a wakeup call to the nation, reminding Americans of the dangers that not only led to the misguided 2016 election of Donald Trump, but superseded his election by creating the dangers and problems associated with crony capitalism and corporate oligarchy. Like the 1920s and what many Americans called "the Republican Great depression" today we face once again the same dangers of Monopoly and corporate domination. Republicans once again embody Corporations and State. If elected republicans are promising to enshrine right wing fascism, Church and State, Corporations and State, into the fabric of the nation. The Republican party of today began the processes which lead to the financial corruption of politics and the sale of our nations independence, the destruction of localized vibrant economies. Starting in the 1970s. Today Corporate monopolies dominate the nation, and while hard working Americans struggle with the incredible burden of taxation, stagnant wages, corruption in politics, a health crisis caused not only by deregulation and corporate capture, but by monopolies dominating medical treatment and healthcare. Robber barons live in wealth and luxury in a system designed to Rob Americans of the fruits of their labor, robbing the nation of growth, innovation, competition, and "the Great Prosperity." In fact "Greed inflation" is at an all time high, Americans are ripped off and impoverished because their is no competition. In a Real Democratic Republic ensuring Equal Opportunity, Americans would have the highest quality products at the lowest cost. Individual Success would be a choice of labor and merit. History has already demonstrated this fact. Beginning with the American revolution, which contrary to the corporate propaganda in our broken education system, was not caused by taxation, their has been a constant struggle for Equal Opportunity that is reemerging today among disgruntled Americans who have been left behind and failed by the current corrupt predatory system. Trump is not the cause of Americas corruption or decline, that is what got him elected, the promise to uproot the corruption. It had an appeal to many Americans at the time including myself, and only later on did I become the critic of Trump that I am now.
Corporate Monopoly today and the American Revolution. The tea act of 1773 which caused the Boston Tea Party, did not increase taxes on Americans, and although like today the sentiment against paying high taxes was strong it did not trigger the American revolution. The tea act of 1773 lowered taxes for the worlds largest Corporation, allowing East India company to undersell and put American tea companies out of business, establishing a Monopoly on tea. The tea act of 1773 was merely the continuation of policies which subsidized large corporations at the expense of the nation. In fact the tea act of 1773 lowered tea prices for Americans. This debate over classical Economics goes back to the beginning of economic theory, and our understanding of economics and scientists like Adam Smith. An important note I want to make is that the democratic republicans of the time rejected some of Adam Smiths classical economics and his invisible hand. They understood that in such systems, corporations have an infinity of levers to artificially manipulate the market, to increase profits and what they called "milking the population for every penny." The results they demonstrated, were always the centralization of wealth and power into a corporate monopoly and Oligarchy. Also the conditions this created they argued, leads to population declines and other major problems and declines. Again all of this debate happened prior to the American revolution but apart of the movement and politics which later encompassed what became the American nation based on Democratic Republican principles. Some of the Democratic Republicans in America were Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, George Mason, James Monroe and many others. They apposed the Aristocratic republicans. The "Boston Tea Party" was a rebellion against Corporations and State. Today Republicans champion the same policies and system which caused The Boston Tea Party, granting tax breaks to and subsidizing large corporations which now fund and control the Republican party. This caused the death of localized vibrant economies bringing corporate chain stores, and killing small businesses, and competition. It hollowed out our manufacturing power, as these same corporations moved their business abroad for cheap slave labor, partnering with tyrannical governments willing to do corporate friendly business at the expense of their own nations and people. Then selling those cheap products to Americans at higher and ever increasing monopoly pricing. Today America is monopolized and faces a concentration of power unlike anything the world has ever seen. Before the 80s no company could purchase a competitor if it meant controlling more then 4% of a product. As a result of "the Powell Memo" which called on corporations to actively involve themselves in politics, followed by corrupt right wing supreme court justices who started this process, by ruling that, money is speech in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, dismantling The Tillman Act of 1907, and allowing corporations to fund politics. Since then Corporations have been funding politics and righting legislation, from the Supreme Court, to the congress, to the presidency, to government institutions like the FDA which are supposed to regulate their profiteers. Worse yet monopolies have gobbled up local economies and centralized every industry in America in the name of lower prices and deregulation. Today only a few big corporations control every industry in the United States. The top 1% of families captured 58% of total real income growth per family from 2009 to 2014. For 40 years prior to Reaganomics the wealth of middle class Americans was increasing faster than the top 1 percent, faster than executive’s although they did just fine. Since then, where we had wide celebrated diversity in every industry like beer brewing for example, Milwaukee's finest and you had to smuggle cores light out of Colorado. Today we have instead 2 corporations that produce over 90% of all the beer consumed in the United States. While South Koreans get internet speeds 200 times faster and far more reliable than what most Americans get, paying only 27$ a month. Americans pay an average of 90$ a month, Europeans pay an average of 19$ a month and the speeds are faster and more reliable and unlimited. The European Union has taken an active role in crushing monopolies. In the US just 1 company Comcast controls over 50 percent of the market. On Wall Street, the 20 biggest banks own assets equivalent to 84% of the United States entire gross domestic product. Just 12 of those banks own 70% of all banking assets. That means if those 12 banks collapse, the entire system collapses. Just 4 companies control 90% of the grain trade. 3 companies control 70% of the American beef industry. Just 4 companies control 58 percent of the U.S. pork and chicken producing processes. In retail Walmart controls 1/4 of the entire US grocery market. 4 companies produce 75% of our breakfast cereal, 75% of all snack foods, 60% of all cookies, and half of all the ice cream sold in supermarkets around the nation. In health insurance just 4 companies control 3/4 of the entire health insurance market. In 38 states just 2 ensures control 58% of the market. In 15 states just 1 insurer controls over 60% of the market. In the cellular phone market just 4 companies control 89% of the market. Capitalism does work for the average American and small businesses, but only when the rules are set that way. Rig those rules to give disproportionate power to the very wealthy and we have what Franklin Roosevelt called fascism.

Likewise Jefferson among many of the founders feared the dangers of corporate power, and advocated until his death for an amendment banning monopolies. “the selfish spirit of commerce (that) knows no country, and feels no passion or principle but that of gain.” "I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies" Jefferson also expressed his concerns in a response to the new constitution. "I will now add what I do not like. First the omission of a bill of rights providing clearly & without the aid of sophisms for freedom of religion, freedom of the press, protection against standing armies, RESTRICTION AGAINST MONOPOLIES" Today it is clearer then ever that republicans represent a fascist threat to the United States of America. The republican party champions Corporations and State, but so to do the democrats. Politics on both sides and the institutions of government are captured by corporate interest. Meanwhile America is spending its way to ruin. The interest on the national debt in 2024 is going to be a staggering 870 billion dollars. The controversy in our education system and woke garbage comes at a time when kids are scoring the lowest in critical areas since records began. While Americans suffer the highest chronic illness of any nation on earth, It's a well-documented fact that adverse prescription drug effects and other medical errors are the third leading cause of death in America. Americas foreign policy since the Kennedy Assassination's has been to topple democratically elected governments, to open our economy to nations antithetical to our values, and unwilling to follow the same rules. To impose a national security state, violating the constitution, and to wage a war on our Inherent Natural Rights in the name of national security. My own opinion is that RFK jr is the only candidate running against the real systemic corruption and issues America faces. He is the only one that's talking about the issues and their cause. When I first heard about him I thought he was exactly what the media says, a conspiracy nut and clown. But having learned the hard way about how to think for myself, I had to read his books and see his side of things before taking an opinion based on the accusations and claims of the media. I challenge anyone with an opinion on the matter to do your diligence, read his books before taking a cold hard position on RFK. I was actually shocked. The scientific studies in his books you'll never hear about from the Big Pharma funded news agencies. The information people are getting is one sided and controlled. I actually love RFK for what he is doing and why, because he gives a dam, because real morality exists only in those who contributed human misery and suffering to injustice, and established an emotional connection to justice itself. That is to care about those whose suffering doesn't effect us. My current studies on the Enlightenment and Age of Reason have caused me to think about this in depth lately. But seriously RFK jr in my opinion is the only chance in hell of up righting this ship. Its our choice, and those who say that a vote for RFK is a vote for Trump must face the fact that RFK is taking a much larger percentage of trump support then Biden. NATO Repeatedly Assured Russia It Would Not Expand

Document Number 119 of the Gorbachev Foundation archives contains a detailed transcript of the discussion between Soviet General Secretary, Mikhail Gorbachev and US Secretary of State James Baker on February 9, 1990. This document shows that James Baker repeatedly assured Gorbachev that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) would not expand.
The accuracy of Document 119 are supported by unclassified and declassified documents in the United States (US), Great Britain, Germany, and France. These records verify that the leaders in these countries assured Mikhail Gorbachev that NATO would not expand. Additionally, the records of conversations and correspondence between NATO members further corroborates their emphasis on assuring the Russians that NATO would not expand.
All of these leaders were concerned about assuring Gorbachev that NATO would not exploit the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact as Soviet forces withdrew from Eastern Europe. A few of the leaders suggested that NATO would be reduced, since the Soviet threat and the Cold War had greatly diminished. Reports of these assurances can also be found at NATO archives in Brussels, Belgium.
These records prove that during a two year period, US President George H. W. Bush, US Secretary of State James Baker, US CIA Director Robert Gates, British Prime Ministers Margret Thatcher and John Major, British Foreign Minister Douglas Hurd, West German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, West German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher, French President Francois Mitterrand, NATO Secretary General Manfred Worner, and others gave assurances to Russia that NATO would not expand into the former Soviet satellites and territories of Central and Eastern Europe.
In a January 31, 1990 speech in Bavaria on German unification, West German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher stated that NATO should not expand towards the Soviet Union, even suggesting that after unification, the former territory of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), also known as East Germany, not be militarized or occupied by NATO.
Genscher met with James Baker, prior to Baker’s February 9, 1990 meeting with Gorbachev, stressing the importance of assuring Gorbachev that NATO would not exploit events by expanding eastward. Baker embraced this policy, emphatically telling Gorbachev – three times during their meeting – that NATO would not expand eastward. Baker told Gorbachev “Americans understand the importance for the USSR and Europe of guarantees that not an inch of NATO’s present military jurisdiction will spread in an eastern direction.”
James Baker told Gorbachev that European countries want the United States to keep its military presence in Europe, but that these troops would return to the US from any country that does not want their presence. Baker continued discussing the future of NATO, again stating that NATO’s military alliance would not expand towards Russia. Gorbachev reaffirmed that an expansion of NATO was not acceptable. Secretary of State, James Baker, representing the US government, responded, “We agree with that.”
German Chancellor Helmut Kohl met with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 10, 1990, the day after James Baker’s meeting with Gorbachev. Unclassified documents show that Baker briefed Kohl via written correspondence before the meeting, stressing Gorbachev’s concerns about the eastward expansion of NATO. Kohl obtained Gorbachev’s support for German unification after assuring him that NATO would not expand towards the Soviet Union.

The Turn

During 1989, East European countries declared their independence, breaking away from the Soviet Union. Mikhail Gorbachev courageously and altruistically allowed their defection, in defiance of the Brezhnev Doctrine that had previously used military force to prevent countries from leaving the Soviet Sphere of Influence.
The Berlin Wall fell on November 9, 1989 and East and West Germany were united on October 3, 1990. This unification still required a formal treaty between the German Democratic Republic (GDR) or East Germany and The Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) or West Germany, along with the four occupying powers – United States, Great Britain, France, and Soviet Union – before it became official.
German officials referred to the joining of the GDR and FRG as German “unity” or German “unification,” avoiding the term “reunification.” October 3 became a national holiday known as German Unity Day. Many Germans often referred to this as “the turn” or “the turning point,” symbolizing the dramatic historical shift.
The Soviet Union, United Kingdom, and Western Europe were against German unification. Having fought Germany in two world wars, they did not want to see a united, independent Germany that could build up their military and develop their own nuclear weapons. These fears were diminished by the US assurance that keeping a united Germany in NATO would prevent potential militarism, while ensuring accountability and control.
Mikhail Gorbachev could have vetoed the unification of Germany or used Soviet troops to retain control of Eastern Europe. Instead, Gorbachev and other political and military officials in the Soviet Union facilitated their independence, trusting that US, European, and NATO officials – and their successors – had the integrity to honor and abide by their respective country’s agreements.
The German unification used a Two-Plus-Four process. The German Democratic Republic and The Federal Republic of Germany reached an agreement, followed by the four powers that had occupied Germany after WWII – the United States, Great Britain, France, and Soviet Union. The Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany was signed by all six participants on December 9, 1990 and became effective on March 15, 1991.
The Four-Plus-Two versus Two-Plus-Four structure was hotly debated. The Four-Plus-Two process called for the four occupying powers to reach an agreement first, as to the specifics of the unification, with the two Germany’s working from that template. German Chancellor, Helmut Kohl, pushed for the Two-Plus-Four formula in which the two Germanys took the lead in working out the details and charting their own future.

Betrayal and Shame

US and NATO members continued to assure the Soviet Union that it would not expand eastward. In March 1991, British Prime Minister John Major reaffirmed to Soviet officials that there would be no NATO expansion to the east. The United States and other countries continued to make similar assurances, and during a meeting in July 1991, Manfred Worner, the Secretary General of NATO, told Soviet officials that NATO was firmly against any expansion.
Mikhail Gorbachev, trusting the word and integrity of US and European leaders, did not demand that assurances of NATO’s agreement to contain itself be put into writing. Mikhail Gorbachev was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1990 for his efforts in promoting peace and democracy, while reducing global threats.
In reviewing the transcripts, reports, photographs, and videos of Gorbachev with Reagan, Bush, and Baker, what stands out is Gorbachev’s openness and integrity. His facial expressions and body language reinforce his sincerity, trust, and good will. It is from this psychological and emotional centering that Gorbachev took US, European, and NATO officials at their word. To sully these moments that reflect the end of the Cold War by aggressively expanding NATO to threaten Russia, in part, to generate trillion dollar profits for the US MIC, is deceitful and dishonorable.
Ignoring their promises, NATO doubled in size, adding 14 countries and making overtures to Georgia and Ukraine. Russian protests over NATO’s aggressive eastward expansion were ignored. NATO lost its ethical centering, while dangerously drifting away from the core principles of its initial charter and purpose. While NATO claims to be defensive in nature, unbridled hawks and opportunists – led by the endless war policies of the United States – turned NATO into a belligerent, duplicitous, threatening bully.
In 1999, Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic joined NATO. NATO and US neoconservatives pushed for more members, adding Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Slovenia in 2004. Albania and Croatia joined in 2009, Montenegro in 2017, and North Macedonia in 2020. NATO’s push provided more troops for the ill-advised wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, in addition to massive profits for the US MIC.
Russia has repeatedly stated that it was against NATO expansion towards Russian borders. The harsh memories of German invasions during WWI and WWII still linger in Russia. They lost over 35 million people during these two wars, in addition to the devastating destruction of their country.
The aggressive expansion of NATO – combined with overtures to Georgia and Ukraine – reactivated the Cold War, making Europe and the world significantly less safe. It is deviously deceptive, unethical, and shameful for US, NATO, and European representatives to claim there was never any assurances or agreement with Russia, not to expand NATO. These lies are exposed by their own records.

Provoking Russia to Attack Ukraine

NATO’s persistence for the addition of Georgia and Ukraine provoked Russia into limited invasions of Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine in 2014, following US supported coups in these two countries. These limited Russian incursions were strategic. The presence of Russian troops and political divisions in Georgia and Ukraine made them temporarily unqualified to join NATO, based upon the Alliance’s membership guidelines.
The violent Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 followed the US and NATO’s relentless, belligerent and threatening insistence that Ukraine would join the NATO military alliance. Russia has repeatedly insisted that Ukraine and Georgia remain independent, rather than join NATO, which would place US and NATO military bases, troops, missiles, aircraft, and other weapons along the combined 1,970 mile (3,170 km) Ukraine and Georgia land and sea borders with Russia. If NATO takes Ukraine, Moscow is vulnerable, being just 305 miles (490 km) up the M3 highway from the Ukraine border.
This is the equivalent of placing Russian military bases, troops, missiles, aircraft, and other weapons along the entire 1,954 mile (3,145 km) US border with Mexico, from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico.
US and NATO officials repeatedly denounced Russia’s concerns, stating that each country has the right to make their own alliances and security agreements. In 1962, the US risked nuclear war over Russian troops in Cuba. If Mexico made a security alliance with Russia, US military forces would likely invade Mexico, if a predictable CIA coup attempt failed to overthrow the legitimate government.
Russia’s attack of Ukraine was brutally wrong, but it was deliberately and strategically provoked by the US and NATO, who knowingly sacrificed Ukraine in their pursuit of nefarious military, political, and economic objectives. NATO and the US can feign surprise and outrage over the Russian invasion, but they deviously caused it.
The security, prosperity, and sustainability of Ukraine is best achieved by it remaining neutral and nonaligned, forging economic agreements and trade with Russia, Europe, and others. The US and NATO intentionally undermined this option by repeatedly stating that Ukraine will join the NATO military alliance, escalating hostilities and provoking Putin to attack, as they knew he would. If the US and NATO cared about Ukraine, they could have prevented this invasion by suggesting that Ukraine remain independent, embracing economic – but not military – alliances, at this time.

The Reagan – Gorbachev Miracle and Legacy

During the 1980s, US President Ronald Reagan and Soviet General Secretary, Mikhail Gorbachev – both mavericks within their respective countries – found common ground to forge friendship and agreements that significantly improved relations between these super powers, reducing nuclear proliferation and the threat of war. Their work – and a contained NATO – made the world safer for everyone, while encouraging significant future cuts to bloated and wasteful military and defense spending.
US Vice President George H.W. Bush continued the Reagan legacy of good relations with Mikhail Gorbachev and the Soviet Union after becoming President on January 20, 1989. On July 31, 1991, Bush and Gorbachev signed the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START 1), which called for a significant reduction of US and Russian nuclear arsenals. This was a conclusion of nuclear reductions previously proposed by President Ronald Reagan.
The legacy of the Reagan, Gorbachev, and Bush negotiations ignored overly suspicious militarists within their respective governments to forge friendships and agreements – grounded in integrity and trust. These should not be sullied by unsavory opportunists and war-profiteers, who are incapable of grasping the significance and honor that are implicit in giving one’s word to an agreement.
The United States and NATO have embraced unbridled expansion and militarism, strategically and deliberately provoking a war in Ukraine and making the world less safe. Their hostile and duplicitous actions during the last two decades are transparent, sullying their reputation, which will diminish their capacity to solicit vital information, cooperation, and support from people and countries around the world. Trying to force collaboration by threatening and attacking countries, is a bit like telling people, “The beatings will continue until morale improves.”
It is from the position of integrity, fair play, tempered strength, and measured response that the United States and NATO will garner international respect, trust, confidence, and cooperation – at individual and state level – that are essential to enhance the safety, security, and sustainability of the organization and its individual members.
Perhaps, NATO should erect statues of congenial moments between President Reagan and General Secretary Gorbachev to remind them that mutual respect and consideration facilitates peaceful coexistence. Much of this is a predetermined choice regarding the best way to sustain security, either by making friends or creating enemies and endless wars.
President Reagan was fond of telling stories to make a point, so I’ll share one that I learned as a child. The sun and the wind engaged in conversation, while watching a man walk down a road. The wind challenged the sun to a contest to see which of them could force the coat off the man. The wind went first, battering the man with cold, strong winds to blow off his coat, but the man tightened his grip, holding the coat closer to his body. Now it was the sun’s turn. It simply provided warmth that compelled the man to voluntarily remove his coat, while enjoying the pleasant weather. Perhaps, some of our leaders should focus on the wisdom and benefits of getting along with others, instead of escalating hostilities to ensure exorbitant expenditures on weapons and war.

In this installment, we finally take a closer look at how Emilie Autumn's hyper-loyal fanbase gradually started losing faith in her as, among other things, it became more and more apparent that she... wasn't exactly a reliable narrator – in her semi-autobiographical book, or in general.

HOW IT STARTED: A WOMAN OF MYSTERY

I've previously referred to EA as an “expert vagueposter”, and this is relevant here.
For an artist who built her brand on a pledge of raw, rats-and-all honesty, EA has always been quite guarded about the specifics of her personal life. (Until her current partner, for instance, she always danced around calling anyone a boyfriend, even when the nature of the relationship was pretty obvious.) Her whole angle is telling “the truth”, but through whimsical fantasy. As early as the fairy-themed Enchant era, she had her own world, her own vernacular; she spoke in metaphors, in-jokes, and quirky anachronisms. Taxis were carriages, her electric keyboard was a harpsichord, she always capitalized Time and Art like Shakespeare does. On the Asylum forum, automatic word filters would change “fan” to “muffin”, “fairy” to “faerie”, “bra” to “teacup holder”, and “responsibility” to “ratsponsibility”.
She's a chatterbox who loves to share memories and funny anecdotes, but she usually keeps them short and sweet, Snapple-facts style. 📝 She's great at painting by touches in her storytelling, revealing just enough to let your imagination auto-complete the rest. 🔍 Even the most banal tidbits are very artfully told, very “on brand”, often dense with symbolism and foreshadowing – but also very abstracted.
She is especially elusive when it comes to her background and formative years. See the way she catches herself in this interview 📺📝 while describing her “favorite scar”, which is from an eel bite: “My – well, someone I knew... [gasp-laugh] had it as a pet, and...” (She was about to say “my sister”.)
In short, the way EA talks about her life is often very personal, but not all that candid – and sounds more like it's meant to provide a curated, coherent backstory for Emilie Autumn the character, rather than Emilie Autumn the person.

In the beginning, this guardedness naturally contributed to the mystique. It made it all the more special when, once in a while, she would briefly drop the theatrics to share something earnest and relatively unfiltered. Like this composed, but vulnerable post from 2004 📝 about her father losing his battle to cancer, and her attempts at closure over their tense relationship. Or this 2012 anti-bullying campaign thing 📺 in which she opens up about being a target of intense physical bullying in elementary school, to a point that contributed to her being homeschooled at 9.
Fans in the early years were curious about her backstory, of course – but not too prodding or invasive, to my knowledge. I think there was an understanding that EA, like many performers, wanted to come across as human and approachable, while still cultivating an “aura” and retaining some privacy. But obviously, when she announced that she was writing a Tell-All Memoir in 2007, everyone was dying to read it. TEA TIME!

HOW IT'S GOING: A WOMAN OF... MALARKEY???

As we've learned, the original 2009 release of EA's book was highly anticipated, but somewhat tainted by a bunch of shipping delays and unfulfilled promises. From the start of her career, EA had always cultivated a close parasocial involvement with her audience; many fans had as deep an attachment to her, personally, as they did to her art. So, for instance, when EA tweeted about all the personal dedications she was lovingly writing in overdue books, only for the books to arrive many months later and unsigned with no tangible explanation, it wasn't simply frustrating: it was betrayal amongst kin!
Really, it wasn't so much about fans not getting what they paid for – it was about the lack of clear communication or genuine accountability. This is pure speculation on my part, but the poppycock that EA tweeted about signing the books strikes me as the panic-lie of someone who hadn't realized just how many heartfelt, personalized dedications she would actually have to write when she came home from tour. And then she just couldn't do it, because she was overworked, paralyzed, distracted, depressed, procrastinating, whatever. Which... you know... is unfortunate, but probably not unforgivable. Especially for a touring performer who is open and vocal about their mental health issues.
I'm confident that most fans would have been happy to tell her that her well-being meant more to them than an autograph, or something along those lines. Instead, EA's cagey and avoidant demeanor around this issue left fans very salty – and newly suspicious of their favorite artist's word.
Which was regrettable timing for EA, because they had just received their copies of her memoir.
Here's a cursory look at some key biographical points that didn't hold up to scrutiny when more and more vexed fans, over the years, started looking into them.

Every fandom has its Holy Grail. Because a number of EA's early releases were limited pressings put out through now-defunct record labels, the EA fandom in its heyday was a collector's wonderland. 📝🦠 At the height of her popularity, the original Enchant jewelcase (the one with the puzzle-poster) could easily fetch around $500 dollars on eBay, unsigned. The handwritten lyrics of an Opheliac B-side went for $940 in 2009. Don't even ask me about the hard copies of her two poetry books: those never even popped up over the five or six years that I had various alerts set up for all EA-related listings.
But the true crown jewel of EA rarities is the untitled promo version of her (also virtually unfindable) 2001 instrumental debut On a Day... No one knows how many copies exist. The darn thing is so rare that it's not even listed on Discogs. For a while, the only picture of the elusive “Violin” promo CD that was circulated online was this one.🪞 Go ahead, click the link. Notice anything odd? That black box where one composer's birth year should be?
I'm not sure why the notorious hyper-fan who originally shared this picture on the forum in the early 2010s took it upon himself to censor it before posting. I wasn't able to pinpoint when or why people started questioning EA's age, but clearly, something had already transpired to let him know that not redacting said birth year might, uh... cause an upset. In any case: at some point, people started digging – and eventually, the unredacted version of the “Violin” tracklist (as well as public records and literal receipts from eBay auctions) would be brandished as one more piece of damning evidence that EA was indeed (gasp!) two years older than she claimed to be.
“Okay, and?” you shrug. “What's the big deal?” I'm shrugging too! What can I say? People don't like realizing they've been fooled, even about something stupid. I will note that EA's fall equinox birthday (hence her middle name “Autumn”, yes) had been somewhat significant in the fandom. Over the years, EA's birthdays had been marked by online release parties, Q&A's, community events, special merch sales... A number of fans liked donning her trademark cheek heart on September 22. It felt a bit uncanny to realize that she had been announcing a false age on those occasions. It wasn't “a big deal” so much as it was incredibly odd.
Other than being appalled that Self-Proclaimed Staunch Feminist EA would give in to the cult of youth and not cop up to her real age, many fans were just plain bewildered: who would commit so stubbornly to such an inconsequential lie? What was even the point of lying by two years only? Why did she think anyone would care that she was 28 rather than 26 when Opheliac came out? What was she possibly getting out of this...??
My completely speculative theory is that, whether it was her idea or her then-manager's, the lie originated as a marketing strategy early on in her career. The “Violin” demo was recorded in 1997, when EA was 19-going-on-20. Per the liner notes of On a Day... 📝, which came out when she was 22, the demo's purpose was to be “a sort of calling card in the classical music industry”. Evidently, that didn't work out; EA claims, in the same paragraph, to have walked out on a classical recording deal at 18 because they wouldn't give her enough creative control.
Talented and unique as she was, she was trying to break out in a notoriously elitist and innovation-resistant milieu – and unlike her, most of the 22-year-old classical violinists she was in competition with had actually graduated from their prestigious music schools. But you know what sells better than an ambitious college dropout in her early twenties? Tweaking the truth just so to market yourself as an unconventional wunderkind, barely out of her teens! Any rendition of a complex, learnèd musical piece sounds more intriguing and impressive if you think it was played by an especially young (and beautiful) person. 20 was plausible, close enough to her real age, barely a lie at all, and such a nice, round number for a debut album.
Notice how much of the On a Day... liner notes, linked above, center on her precociousness, her uniqueness, and her savant-like dedication to her craft – a focus that seems absent from the promo version (from what I can decipher in those potato-quality pictures, anyway). These talking points would provide the basis for a lot of her early self-promotion and budding stage persona in the Enchant years. Even though the EP failed to make EA a household name in the classical world, the wunderkind narrative was her “in” to grab the attention and heart of a broader audience.
And I guess she's been running with it ever since.

“MY ANCESTRY IS POSITIVELY LITTERED WITH LUNATICS AND GIRLS WHO FALL DOWN RABBIT HOLES ... MY NAME IS EMILIE AUTUMN LIDDELL. YES, THAT LIDDELL.”

Oh, come on. Much as a fan may want to believe, isn't that a little on the nose? The anglophile with an obsession for tea, clocks, and madness... is literally related to Alice in Wonderland? 🔍 Curiouser and curiouser indeed.
EA came out as Emilie Autumn Liddell in The Book – of course – in a passage where she describes an interaction with a nurse. 📝 Note how she stresses the authenticity of her name, and how not-chosen it is (and the Alice connection, which just comes up organically) by disclosing it in a scene where she's filling out paperwork.
I'm pointing this out, because it would be tempting to allow room for creative license (and the slightest cringe) in a work of creative fiction based on personal experience. Buuut... TAFWG was not marketed as fiction. The main narrative in TAFWG, according to EA, is an actual fac-simile of the journals she kept during a harrowing stay at a Los Angeles psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt. This is something that EA has stressed from the inception of the book (and throughout all subsequents re-issues, even as the main narrative was altered and reworked), even claiming that a legal team had advised her to redact some names to avoid potential lawsuits. So, no, she's not doing a bit there.
When, after it made the rounds a few times, it became apparent that the claim didn't really make sense 📝🔍, reactions were mixed. Some older, diplomatic fans downplayed it as a somewhat embarrassing, but harmless self-mythologizing – similar in nature to her insistence on calling her electric keyboard a “harpsichord”. Devout EA apologists (commonly referred to as “bootlickers” in an increasingly polarized fandom – oh, don't worry, we're getting to that!) invoked the “life as performance art” defense: when she said it was literally her first name, she meant it metaphorically, duh! And either way, she probably had her reasons.
But others took offense at the boldness of the lie, or simply became curious. Was Liddell even her name at all?
If you've checked the link just above, you already know the answer. Per the public California birth log (a somewhat demented invasion of privacy that could well have been avoided by... not repeatedly drawing attention to a name that someone in the book calls “right out of a movie”?) : yes, no, kind of.
EA was born Emily Autumn Fischkopf* on September 22, 1977. The name came from her father, a first-generation immigrant from Germany. Her maternal grandmother's maiden name was Liddell (but no, not that Liddell, or so remotely that it doesn't matter). EA may have had it legally changed at some point in the last decade, but as of 2012, based on the public log of foreign visitors to Brazil (where she toured that year), her passport still bore the name “Emily Autumn Fischkopf”.
*No, EA's birth name is not literally “Fischkopf”. It's a non-silly German name that begins with an F. I know that it's ridiculous to clutch my pearls about EA's peace of mind now, but triggering new and disquieting Google alerts for a name she clearly wants nothing to do with (and that you don't care about) just feels... distasteful? I don't know. That info has been floating around long enough, the point has been made; this write-up is not about EA's last name, but about the fiends we made along the way! So Fischkopf it is.
Let's track the evolution here! It appears that she went by “Autumn Fischkopf” for at least part of her formative years, if we are to believe the credits from Mark Ruffalo's middling film debut 📺 (she was the child actor's violin-playing body double) and this random article about a Nigel Kennedy performance in 1997. 🔍 (That last link – possibly her first ever mention in the press? – is a niche favorite of mine. Violin superstar Nigel Kennedy calls her a “talented fiddler”, which suggests that she did have some cred and promise in the classical milieu at a young age, and that there is at least some truth to her claims of being a wunderkind. It also cracks me up that, out of all the things she's reiterated over the years, “I was born in '79” was a lie, but “I was attacked by a pet eel” was fact-checked by Nigel Kennedy.)
At some point in her late teens, she dropped the Teutonic surname and adopted the French ending of her given name (she made it a “LIE”! how poetic) to form the moniker “Emilie Autumn”. I assume that's also when she started privately going by Emilie / EA for short.
So there you have it. The damning evidence. A performing artist... changed her name. To her grandmother's name. Riveting stuff!
And to think that her fans could have carried on naively believing “Autumn” was her last name, or assuming it was a romantic nom de scène she picked during her Ren Fair phase. Or perhaps, even, not thinking much about her name at all, like normal people.
But nooo, she just had to poke the hornet's nest by making a whole thing out of it.

“MY ENTIRE FAMILY DIED IN A FIRE.”

If you've never encountered a method-acting con artist or a person who struggles with pathological lying (I'll let you decide for yourself which of these, if either, applies to EA), you probably believe that you'd spot them a mile away. And in my experience, that's exactly why you wouldn't! Whether it's compulsion or calculated strategy, successful fibbers rely on people's natural social cues (like their assumption of good faith, their confirmation bias, their empathy, their desire for validation, their fear of awkwardness, ...) to subtly direct the flow and tone of the conversation. This allows them to short-circuit potential questioning of their claims.
One such strategy, for instance, I call the “I-will-not-further-speak-about-the-incident maneuver”. Out of the blue, you drop a graphic and incisive one-liner about something horrific that happened to you, in a curt or flippant tone that throws the listener off and usually shuts them up – thus sparing you from having to back up your claim with any convincing specifics. I'm not saying that every person who does this is a liar. Horrific stuff does happen to people, and I'm not here to police how they're supposed to disclose it. I'm just saying that if you wanted to fabricate an obvious Tragic Backstory™ and smuggle it past otherwise rational, discerning and reasonably intelligent people, that would be one way to do it. Full disclosure: it does work better in person than it does over the internet, especially when you've kept a blog.
When EA curtly dropped this bomb on Twitter (in response to an innocuous fan question that mentioned her parents – the receipt has sadly been X'd out of existence), and every subsequent time a new fan found out about her family's tragic demise (“I had no idea!”), the response was typically one of shock and sadness – and, in a few heartbreaking cases, commiseration from other survivors of family-annihilating events.
Many fans already had a hunch that something was up with her family, of course. She hinted at neglect and possible abuse in her book and lyrics. A number of her fans also came from dysfunctional households, so her not wishing to elaborate on the topic would probably have been a non-issue. But now she's saying they're dead? All of them? In a FIRE?! Holy macaroni! And you know it must have been awful, because EA – the same woman who got a dozen bangers out of a three-month-long toxic relationship, and based over a decade of her work on one bad hospital stay – had never, not once, felt called to share a song or poem about how it might affect a person to... lose all of their entire immediate family to a fire. Hmm. Meanwhile, the handful of older fans who had been following her since Enchant and remembered her dad passing in 2004 gritted their teeth and rolled their eyes. “Do your research. That's all I can say.” (We'll get into the culture of censorship free speech regulation on the Asylum forum in due time.)
Before more and more embittered ex-fans started compiling and circulating the receipts in the early-mid-2010s, investigating the whole “dead family” thing was a lonely journey – a coming-of-age expedition for the critical-minded Plague Rat, trawling through free background check websites and old Wayback Machine archives, until you went “Welp, there it is, I guess” and suddenly felt older, stupider, and a little bit hollow inside.
Although I don't remember how I personally made my way to The Truth (lol) back in the day, I still have a vivid memory of the moment I found the Facebook profile of EA's Very Much Non-Deceased Mother. It was mostly posts about her costume design work. A few candid pictures with EA's siblings and their kids. Christmas, birthdays, a wedding. Just... aggressively normal stuff. It was bizarre, looking in on this family of cheerful strangers with familiar cheekbones. Knowing that, somewhere out there, was an estranged eldest daughter, who had run off years ago to become a fiddle-wielding rockstar – and was now passing them off as having all died a gruesome death, while her fans secretly stalked their family photos. (Because I know you'll be asking in the comments: yes, EA's family is aware. Her mother once posted a picture of young EA and her siblings on Pinterest, sarcastically captioned “After most of us were killed in the fire.” 📝)
Again, it's tempting to discount EA's remark as a metaphor for family estrangement, taken too literally by neurodivergent minors who just didn't understand performance art. Well. First of all, even as a metaphor... let's admit, once again, that that 2000s edginess has aged like fine milk. It's a little crass to make a “metaphor” out of a plausible, life-shattering trauma that other people actually have to live with. (Veronica lost a beloved house to a literal fire 🔍 during her tenure as a Crumpet, for instance; no one died, but that alone seemed pretty rough.)
But, more to the point, evidence suggests that EA also told this to real people in her real, off-stage life – such as her Trisol manager, who backed the claim on the official Asylum Forum in 2007. 📝 When questioned about this post on a renegade forum in 2013, he had this to say:

I was the fool in this case. EA made that up of course. It’s just one thing on a long list of things she made up. Let’s agree she’s very creative with facts if she wants people to believe a story. (...) I once had a short chat with [EA's mom] and I got the strong impression she wasn’t dead at the time. Haha.

(OK, dude, but did you or did you not sell fake EA tickets on a scammy website in 2008? Because we never did get the skinny on that.)
Fifteens years on, EA continues to insist, unprompted, that “the fire” destroyed her childhood drawings and baby pictures. 📝 This more recent Instagram post is like a Greatest Hits of her most notorious yarns, to a degree that's either premeditated trolling or a subconscious call for help. She casually, yet pointedly mentions her age in relation to a specific year... and specifically draws attention to the signature, one that she used well into the Enchant era. In doing so, she made me notice, for the first time, that the A blends into an F. As one could expect from an artsy, Renaissance-obsessed teenager, her OG signature was a freaking monogram for Emily Autumn Fischkopf. It's like “The Tell-Tale Heart” for the digital age! AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING THIS?? 🦠

A BIT O' THIS & THAT: MISCELLANEOUS CLAIMS

Just for fun, here are other sundry “citation needed” facts that EA has claimed over the years. All are originally from the book unless sourced otherwise. Some of them may have been jokes, some of them might even be true! Whatever that word still means!

• She suffered near-fatal leukemia at age 2, but miraculously recovered. Doctors were baffled.
• She has perfect pitch and tone-color synesthesia. 🔍
• She also had a photographic memory before Ativan ruined it. That's how she remembers what the sky looked like on the day she came out of the hospital leukemia-free.
• It is well-known and well-established, among the bipolar community, that bipolar people all over the world will regularly and inexplicably wake up at 4 in the morning. 🎵 On the dot. No one knows why, but they do. Doctors are baffled.
• She can play the violin on horseback!
• The traumatic hospital stay happened before Opheliac until it happened after. 🔍 Doctors are time lords.
• TAFWVG “has been cited in text-books used as part of the psychology curriculum at Oxford University in London.” 📝 I would have intuited Oxford University to be in Oxford, but then again, I didn't go to Oxford.

ELECTRIC VIOLIN: UNPLUGGED

You know how whenever a musician starts behaving obnoxiously, old sages will come down from Mount Wisdom to advise disgruntled fans to “simply ignore [behavior]” and “just focus on the music”? Well, in the Asylum, “just focusing on the music” won't always preserve you from EA's shenanigans. This “claim” is a little different, but I've decided to include it because it is so odd, emblematic, and ultimately tragic. I also count it as “biographical”, because it involves a key tenet of EA's character sheet: the violin.
Being a kickass fiddler is one of EA's trademarks, and has always been central to her narrative; as of 2024, “world-class violinist” is still the first claim to fame she lists in the “Story” section of her official website. Which beggars the question: why won't she play it? And why won't she acknowledge that she's not playing it?
We got our hopes up in 2020, with that one post 📝 about her iconic 1885 Gand & Bernardel getting refurbished by a luthier – a thoughtful birthday surprise from her boyfriend – but despite the promising “More to come...” at the end of the caption, that turned out to be a false alarm. In truth, it may well have been over a decade since anyone has witnessed EA draw a single note from her cherished instrument.
The fact that Lord Autumn was able to sneak it out during lockdown without the Lady noticing tends to confirm that she hadn't been playing much behind the scenes. She seems to be under the impression that e-violin manufacturer Zeta is no longer in business (they did close down in 2010 🔍, but reopened under new management in 2012), which suggests that she hasn't been keeping up with the violin scene for a while. Besides, the fingernails don't lie. 🐀
As the live shows veered more theatrical with the release of Opheliac, the extended violin features from the Enchant era were cut to two main appearances per concert: “Face the Wall”, a seven-minute-short, Hendrixesque take on Arcangelo Corelli's “La Folia” – and “Unlaced”, an arpeggio-ed frenzy that was originally paired with a stilt-walking and ballet performance by the Crumpets. These two instrumental tracks remained a fixture on four successive tours. And on four successive tours, “Unlaced” was... well... clearly dubbed. 📺 She was holding her e-violin, her hands were playing the notes, but what was coming out of the speakers was indubitably the studio version.
There were possible explanations, of course. Some sound buffs pointed out that “Unlaced” has multiple violin layers, and that a live violin solo would have sounded harsh and unbalanced over the supporting tracks 🔍 – but then, why pick an unplayable song as a staple of the show?
The violin-miming wasn't even very hush-hush, she didn't try that hard to hide it – it was just never addressed or acknowledged. On “Unlaced”, Veronica was usually summoned to “play” the keyboard – and we knew that was make-believe, they had a whole skit about it. 📺 Ditto when EA would play the intro to a song, then get up from the keyboard as she started singing, and the harpsichord track just kept going. It was part of the theatrics, the suspension of disbelief; live playing just wasn't the focus.
Still, because playing two songs should have been in her wheelhouse, EA's choice to stand on stage and mime along with her own world-class violin skills was puzzling. We knew EA was capable of playing “Unlaced”: “Face the Wall” was proof enough that she could still shred like nobody's business, and some lucky fans got to hear her nerd out about pitch standards and rock some Bach at VIP showcases in 2011 (though it was always the same piece, and reportedly not always on point: “she made beginner mistakes, like weird jaw, wrist, elbow placement and tension...” 🐀). And sure, “Face the Wall” was an intense piece, but... it was one of two in the show. The same two, always. She was supposed to be classically trained...!
As EA's fabrications became more common knowledge among the fanbase, people took increasing issue with this odd staging choice – particularly after “Face the Wall” was retired partway through the 2011 tour, leaving only the pantomime, with nothing else happening on stage to distract from it. 📺 People started fixating on her constant and inexplicable tweaking of the truth. Fake name, fake age, fake promises, and now she was fake-fiddling and making a grand show of it? Was she outright mocking her audience, daring them to call her out? Milking a skill she had grown bored with, in the lowest-effort way possible, knowing that goo-goo-eyed fans would still pay to see it? Playing them the world's saddest song on the world's quietest e-violin?
The release of new album Fight Like a Girl in 2012 did little to soothe the Plague Rats' fiddle blues. The violin was much less prominent on FLAG than it had been on Opheliac and Enchant. There were almost no solos, which provided fewer opportunities for playing or miming on stage. “Unlaced” was retired from the touring setlist. One night in Texas during the 2012 tour, due to being on vocal rest, EA played the melody line of “Liar” on the violin. 📺 And that was pretty much the last time world-class violinist Emilie Autumn was heard playing her instrument, on stage or in recording – to the dismay of many fans who had loved her for it.

Can someone please grab this woman by her hand, lead her across her livingroom/bedroom/study, and point at that lonely forgotten dusty violin in a corner of hers so she remembers that she actually owns it? (🐀)

It was yet another bizarre, glaring inconsistency in EA's narrative that fans seemed expected to ignore. Another elephant in the padded room. (Personal anecdote that I don't have a receipt for: in early 2012, when I asked if there was a possibility of EA playing another baroque set for the VIP events on the upcoming tour, her then-manager responded that that wouldn't be possible because venues didn't have the proper acoustics.)
Through some her posts over the years , attentive fans pieced together the likely truth of EA's effective retirement as a violinist. It's actually quite sad, and may cast a different light on EA's artistic shift.
The 2011 tour was initially scheduled for late 2010. It was postponed because EA had been neglecting a jaw injury for years, and needed emergency surgery to avoid “serious and irreversible damage” to her one violin-holding jaw. 📝 She had the surgery early in September; in late November, she performed all over Latin America for six nights straight, and by January, she was back on tour. The same tour during which she made “beginner's mistakes” on the Bach partita, and retired “Face the Wall” for good after a few shows.
She underwent jaw surgery again in 2018, after three years of orthodontic treatment which she said had “prevented [her] from performing”. It was the first anyone was hearing of this (she said she hadn't been touring because she was writing the musical!), and it's as far as EA ever got in terms of half-addressing the obvious: that after dedicating a third of her time on Earth to her craft, after years of pushing through the pain night after night, rushing through recovery periods, and making compromises so the show could go on... she may not be physically able to play concert-level violin anymore.
Once again, something that should (and would) have elicited empathy and support from most fans turned into a point of frustration, speculation and mockery, for years – because EA continued to favor pretend-play and fantasy over the sobering, unglamorous truth. Well, at least everyone's unhappy.

I used to worry about something that had to do with fGod/Gods. So, some small coincidences started happening that reminded me this feaworry.
I am writting about them in a non-chronogical order.
1)THE DOOR SOUND COINCIDENCES: One day, I was in my bed in a very bad psychological state and I asked God/Gods something. If the answer was what I was afraid of, I asked to have a sign and hear someone opening/closing his door anywhere in the building where I was living. As soon as I asked it, I heard someone unlocking their door of their apartment. it happened exactly as soon as i finished my sentence. Hearing doors became something that i was afraid of because I was wondering if they were signs from God/Gods or just coincidences. Whenever I was thinking about these specific worries that had to do with God/Gods, I would hear someone opening/closing/unlocking their door. Sometimes, I was writting about these coincidences in reddit and I was getting intrusive thoughts like "what if i hear a door sound while i am writting the word "door" in this post? It may be a bad sign from God/Gods" and as soon as I was writting the word "door" i was hearing sometimes someone either opening/closing/unlocking the door or the elevator machine that sounded like a door slamming when the engine was starting. Also, one other time, I searching the internet about signs from God. I was in a site and when I scrolled down there was a picture with the slogan "THIS IS A SIGN FROM GOD TO YOU" as soon as I read it, I heard a door or an elevator sound.
2) THE TWITCHING EYE COINCIDENCE: One other time, I asked God/Gods the same question and asked as a sign, if the answer was what I was afraid of, to feel 5 twitches in my eyes before finishing counting to a specific number like 5 or 10. As soon as I asked it, I froze and started anxiously counting. after about 5 seconds, I felt a very strong twitch under my eye. I panicked because I never get twitches in that area.
3) THE YOUTUBE COINCIDENCE: One time, I was watching a youtube video. It started randomly talking about a symbol. Automatically, I worried that I may hear the word "sign" which is synonym to the word "symbol" and that a coincidence may happen that will worry me. So, I decided to close the video. An intrusive thought stopped me. "what if when i close the video, the last word that I will hear is the word "sign"? that will be really scary, so I better wait for the subject to be changed." I waited some seconds and when I saw that the subject was changed, I rushly closed the video. The last word I heard from the guy when I closed the video, was the word "sign". I reopened the video to see if I heard right. and yes, it was the word "sign".
4) THE CHATROOM COINCIDENCE: One day, I entered a random chatroom in which there were a lot of people chatting. it was difficult to read the messages because a lot of people were writting. When I entered the chatroom, I heard someone describing something that was really similaclose to what I was afraid of. I closed the chatroom. I got a thought "what if i connect to the chatroom? maybe another coincidence/sign will happen" and I connected to the same chatroom. As soon as I connected, someone just typed the word "Jesus" I worried a lot about this coincidence because if I had connected 10 seconds earlielater I would not have seen these messages, because a lot of people were writting their messages.
5) THE BOOK COINCIDENCEl: One day, I wrote about my worries in reddit and someone suggested some books. While reading the titles, I got a random thought like "what if there is a sign/coincidence hidden in one of these books" so, I wrote the title of a book that I chose randomly. i read the summary and the ending of the story kinda reminded me something that I was fearing. It had to do with hallucinations and the summary was saying that a character implants secretly a pleasant hallucination into someone's mind before dying. The word "hallucination" was a word that I used to search about in google that period because it was similar to what I was worrying about all this time.
6) THE DOCUMENTARY AND GRANDMA COINCIDENCE: One day, I entered my dad's bedroom and there was a documentary playing on tv. It was something about a mythology or religion. The narrator was saying that a woman asked to be turned into a stone and that God granted her wish. That reminded me my fear. I decided to write about it on reddit and I thought of writing in my post something like "was it a coincidence or a sign?". As soon as i thought it, I heard my grandma saying to my father "these are signs..." Grandma was talking about a kitchen grill that had signs of aging on it. However, I got anxious because it came exactly when I wondered if it was a coincidence or a sign,.
7) CAR ALARMS AND DOG BARKS COINCIDENCES: Somehow, like the door and the elevator sound, car alarms and dog barks started giving me some worries because the synchronicity of them happening whenever I was thinking about my worries regarding the coincidences/signs/fear was kinda frequent. One time I was thinking about my problem and a car alarm started ringing and a dog started barking the same time. I randomly thought "2 sounds that I worry about happening the same time, only the door sound is being missed" and around that moment, I heard someone calling the elevator which its machine sounds like a door slamming. one other time, I heard a door sound and car alarm the same time and I wondered if I would also, hear a dog barking and that moment a dog started barking.

Probably, there is an explanation about this coincidence. Since my mind was really sensitive to hearing dooeelevator sounds, probably while asleep I was hearing people unlocking doors or walking in the corridor and that was remiding me the door sounds.
9) THE URBAN LEGEND MOMO: I was in my home desk and I was praying, I was wondering if some coincidences that happened if they were just coincidences and i was wondering if what I was afraid of became true. Randomly, a picture came to my mind. the scary face of a character named "momo" which was an internet urban legend. After some minutes, I was scrolling in facebook and read a random article that was about that urban legend.
10) THE ONE-ARMED MAN: I was walking in the street and was thinking something related to my worries regarding God/Gods and the coincidences. I randomly thought that if someone was asking from God/Gods to make him lose his arm, probably God/Gods would not grant his wish. Some seconds later, a man with one hand walked from the oppossite direction.
11) The cartoon coincidence: I saw the word "curse" in google and that triggered my worries. At that moment, I heard from a cartoon that was playing on tv, saying that a character got cursed and his fears came true
More than once, I asked from God/Gods a very very very specific sign in order to understand if all these were just coincidences or signs. Nothing happened. I would like your opinion about these coincidences. If it is ok, I would like you to spend some time commenting at least to some of them specifically. it would really help me. I used to worry about something that had to do with fGod/Gods. So, some small coincidences started happening that reminded me this feaworry.
I am writting about them in a non-chronogical order.
1)THE DOOR SOUND COINCIDENCES: One day, I was in my bed in a very bad psychological state and I asked God/Gods something. If the answer was what I was afraid of, I asked to have a sign and hear someone opening/closing his door anywhere in the building where I was living. As soon as I asked it, I heard someone unlocking their door of their apartment. it happened exactly as soon as i finished my sentence. Hearing doors became something that i was afraid of because I was wondering if they were signs from God/Gods or just coincidences. Whenever I was thinking about these specific worries that had to do with God/Gods, I would hear someone opening/closing/unlocking their door. Sometimes, I was writting about these coincidences in reddit and I was getting intrusive thoughts like "what if i hear a door sound while i am writting the word "door" in this post? It may be a bad sign from God/Gods" and as soon as I was writting the word "door" i was hearing sometimes someone either opening/closing/unlocking the door or the elevator machine that sounded like a door slamming when the engine was starting. Also, one other time, I searching the internet about signs from God. I was in a site and when I scrolled down there was a picture with the slogan "THIS IS A SIGN FROM GOD TO YOU" as soon as I read it, I heard a door or an elevator sound.
2) THE TWITCHING EYE COINCIDENCE: One other time, I asked God/Gods the same question and asked as a sign, if the answer was what I was afraid of, to feel 5 twitches in my eyes before finishing counting to a specific number like 5 or 10. As soon as I asked it, I froze and started anxiously counting. after about 5 seconds, I felt a very strong twitch under my eye. I panicked because I never get twitches in that area.
3) THE YOUTUBE COINCIDENCE: One time, I was watching a youtube video. It started randomly talking about a symbol. Automatically, I worried that I may hear the word "sign" which is synonym to the word "symbol" and that a coincidence may happen that will worry me. So, I decided to close the video. An intrusive thought stopped me. "what if when i close the video, the last word that I will hear is the word "sign"? that will be really scary, so I better wait for the subject to be changed." I waited some seconds and when I saw that the subject was changed, I rushly closed the video. The last word I heard from the guy when I closed the video, was the word "sign". I reopened the video to see if I heard right. and yes, it was the word "sign".
4) THE CHATROOM COINCIDENCE: One day, I entered a random chatroom in which there were a lot of people chatting. it was difficult to read the messages because a lot of people were writting. When I entered the chatroom, I heard someone describing something that was really similaclose to what I was afraid of. I closed the chatroom. I got a thought "what if i connect to the chatroom? maybe another coincidence/sign will happen" and I connected to the same chatroom. As soon as I connected, someone just typed the word "Jesus" I worried a lot about this coincidence because if I had connected 10 seconds earlielater I would not have seen these messages, because a lot of people were writting their messages.
5) THE BOOK COINCIDENCEl: One day, I wrote about my worries in reddit and someone suggested some books. While reading the titles, I got a random thought like "what if there is a sign/coincidence hidden in one of these books" so, I wrote the title of a book that I chose randomly. i read the summary and the ending of the story kinda reminded me something that I was fearing. It had to do with hallucinations and the summary was saying that a character implants secretly a pleasant hallucination into someone's mind before dying. The word "hallucination" was a word that I used to search about in google that period because it was similar to what I was worrying about all this time.
6) THE DOCUMENTARY AND GRANDMA COINCIDENCE: One day, I entered my dad's bedroom and there was a documentary playing on tv. It was something about a mythology or religion. The narrator was saying that a woman asked to be turned into a stone and that God granted her wish. That reminded me my fear. I decided to write about it on reddit and I thought of writing in my post something like "was it a coincidence or a sign?". As soon as i thought it, I heard my grandma saying to my father "these are signs..." Grandma was talking about a kitchen grill that had signs of aging on it. However, I got anxious because it came exactly when I wondered if it was a coincidence or a sign,.
7) CAR ALARMS AND DOG BARKS COINCIDENCES: Somehow, like the door and the elevator sound, car alarms and dog barks started giving me some worries because the synchronicity of them happening whenever I was thinking about my worries regarding the coincidences/signs/fear was kinda frequent. One time I was thinking about my problem and a car alarm started ringing and a dog started barking the same time. I randomly thought "2 sounds that I worry about happening the same time, only the door sound is being missed" and around that moment, I heard someone calling the elevator which its machine sounds like a door slamming. one other time, I heard a door sound and car alarm the same time and I wondered if I would also, hear a dog barking and that moment a dog started barking.
8) "PREDICTING" WHAT I WILL HEAR WHILE SLEEPING COINCIDENCE: There were more than 3-4 times, in which I was still sleeping in early hours of the morning. American Family Road Trip & Mother Bus Deep Dive: Part 1
With the popularity of Mother Bus rising I figured I would do a little deep dive into the Lott family.
How They Met:
JD Lott was born in December 1985, if you are interested in some of his family’s history I’d recommend u/Rosie3450 's post.
Britney Lott, born in May 1988. Britney says she was not born in a religious home, she stated in a January 2023 post, “I wasn’t raised in a Christian home. It wasn’t until I was in a coma at the age of 14 did the Lord reveal himself to me, and I accepted Jesus as my Savior.”
Neither were close with their fathers growing up. Britney posted on Father’s Day 2022, “I lost my father when I was a young teenager. He never saw me drive a car, go to college, join the military, get married, or have children. JD grew up without a father his whole life.”
The two met in 2008 while on deployment in Iraq. Britney was in the Air Force Reserves and JD was on his last tour with the Army. As JD showed up on base he saw Britney tanning on a baggage pallet. Eventually the two exchanged phone numbers and they cozied up. Once back in the states (sometimes they’ve said 3 days, other times they’ve said “within 5 days” ) the two married - it was October 10, 2009.
Life Before the Bus:
Upon returning from Iraq, JD finished the last of his college courses at Texas Tech. He had dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, wanting to own and operate his own business. He mentions how, with work, he and Britney “wanted more control. Britney worked at a Little Gym in San Antonio while in college, so they researched the company and eventually decided on owning their own Little Gym in Lubbock, TX in 2011. They paid approximately $175,000 for the gym. (Multiple articles mention they owned a Little Gym franchise but I can only find records of them owning the one in Lubbock, TX.)

In 2011 they welcomed their first son, Gunner. The family welcomed their daughter, Kinsey, in 2013. And two more sons, Schofield, in 2015, and Audie, in 2016 Britney has mentioned she suffered two miscarriages after her first born.
The parents enrolled their eldest in a Christian private school in Lubbock however they did not agree with the school’s secular approach and were disappointed by “politics” that didn’t align with their own. This led to their homeschooling approach. Or at least that’s the original story.
In a post from January 2024 they provided a different story as to why they began homeschooling. A trend I found as I began my deep dive into MotherBus & FatherBus, their stories change quite a bit over time. I don't know when they are telling the truth so if what I'm posting here isn't correct, please let me know and I can update.

Here is another lovely quote regarding homeschooling from August 2021, “Any parent can homeschool. Every parent is more than qualified (trust me, you taught them to use the bathroom independently, nothing is harder than that). Every parent should seriously consider it. No one cares about your children more than you do.
We, as parents, are responsible for our children’s education. That includes the curriculum they are being taught. Do you know your teachers personal beliefs? Do they honor and serve the Lord? How about the school board who chooses what your child learns?”
Bus Sign from God:
In early 2017 JD began struggling with his faith, “I had grown up in the Christian tradition, but had really been living out an altered form of Christianity I call ‘cultural Christianity,’ more of social identity than submitting my life fully to Jesus ... God led me through a significant period of spiritual growth for about eight months.”
This led to his vision of The Bus, “God gave me a vision of building an ark: our bus. It was profound, so I went to share it with Britney.”
Britney just so happened to be homeschooling her four kids (ages 6, 4, 2, and newborn) about Noah’s Ark. She was just teaching them how Noah’s wife would do anything for him, so how could she not do the same when JD had a vision of his own ark? The family bought the bus within a week of JD's vision in November 2017.
The Bus was an old Air Force transport bus that was bought in St. Louis. JD began renovating it himself while they continued to live in their home and run their business(es?). The family welcomed their fifth child, Swift, in August 2018.
The family had their first official night in the bus on October 8, 2018 while parked at their home in Texas. Many of their posts contradict the timeline of the bus renovation, as well as the amount of people who helped with the renovation. Britney claims JD did all of it himself most of the time, and then a couple times will mention a group of people came to help him raise the roof.
The bus is a total of 217 square feet with a drop-down queen size bed for the parents and 6 bunk beds in the back of the bus for the kids. The bus was designed with a raised roof (2 feet) to incorporate the drop-down bed. The emergency exit for The Bus is between the top and bottom bunk-bed aligned against the back of the bus.
As of this post, the family let us know the kids are all safe and sound with the seven older children sharing the six bunk beds and the baby is "in their room in a Moses basket"
The Social Media venture begins:
The first night in The Bus was the beginning of JD & Britney Lott’s social media venture under the name American Family Road Trip. Here is one of their first posts on Facebook, to give you an idea of who they were in 2018

After the family left Texas in October 2018 and arrived in Florida a month later they had to park The Bus in a warehouse for a few weeks (including over Thanksgiving) for bus maintenance. Work had to be done on the shower including the installation of a water heater, along with electrical work throughout the bus. This makes you wonder how well The Bus was when it took off from Texas.
In the beginning of American Family Road Trips, their Facebook was focused on family-friendly travel tips and ideas. There are some mentions here and there about religion but nothing controversial. During the first Christmas in The Bus JD & Bridney explain the children only get three presents symbolic of the three wise men. MotherBus & FatherBus lack all originality so they also get the kids the same type of three gifts, for this year it was: Puppets, a DVD, and a candy cane because it’s Britney’s “absolute favorite candies thanks to the cool symbolism of Jesus”
The roadtrips do not last long because by the end of 2018 the family is set off for an international trip to Ireland and the United Kingdom. They shared this lovely travel tip on Facebook, (remember they have five kids at this time)

They posted sporadically throughout 2019, visiting several states around the Continental US and a few posts shilling random MLMs like Young Living essential oils. By the end of 2019 the family announced they were headed back to Texas to spend the holidays with their family, and to expect baby number six in May 2020.

There is a scene in “Screams Before Silence,” the harrowing documentary about the rape and mutilation of Israeli women on Oct. 7, that I can’t get out of my head. It’s an interview that the former Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg, the documentary’s presenter, conducted with Ayelet Levy Sachar, the mother of 19-year-old Naama Levy, whose kidnapping that morning was filmed by Hamas. The sight of her pajama bottoms, drenched in blood at the back, was one of the earliest indications that sexual brutality was part of Hamas’s playbook.
“They’re grabbing her by the hair, and she’s all, like, messed up and like, and I’m thinking of her hair, and like, in my mind I’m stroking her hair, like I’m always doing,” Levy Sachar said of the video of her daughter’s kidnapping. “We would like to think that this couldn’t be possible. That nobody would harm a young girl. But then you just see it there.”
To have a child seized, savaged and paraded this way goes beyond a parent’s worst nightmare. Here it is compounded by an additional horror: the combination of indifference and outright denial with which much of the world has treated these sexual atrocities.
Why? “People are so polarized that they want every fact to fit into a narrative, and if their narrative is resistance, then sexual violence doesn’t fit into that narrative,” Sandberg told me when I met her in New York last Thursday, hours before the documentary’s premiere at The Times Center. “You can believe that Gaza is happening because Israel has no choice; you can believe that Gaza is happening because Israel wants to kill babies. You can hold either one of those thoughts. And you should also be able to hold the thought that sexual violence is unacceptable, no matter what.”
To watch “Screams Before Silence” is to be disabused of any lingering doubts about what Hamas did. The personal testimonies of victims, survivors and witnesses are clear and overpowering, as is the photographic evidence Sandberg was shown of mutilated corpses. And some of them have scarcely been heard about outside Israel.
There is Tali Binner, a partygoer at the Nova music festival who hid in a small camper as other women were raped outside: “I heard a girl that started to yell for a long time. It was like, ‘Please don’t. No, no, stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. No. No. No’. It was like, she was asking someone to stop. What can they stop? Someone is abusing her. Someone touching her. Someone is doing something.”
There is Raz Cohen, who witnessed a rape as he hid with a friend in the brush: “Shoham, who was next to me, said, ‘He’s stabbing her. He’s slaughtering her,’ or something like that, and I didn’t want to look.” Cohen added, in Hebrew: “When I looked again, she was already dead, and he was still at it. He was still raping her after he had slaughtered her.”
There is Rami Davidian, an emergency medical worker at the Nova site: “I saw girls tied up with their hands behind them to every tree here. Someone murdered them, raped them and abused them, here on these trees. Their legs were spread. Everyone who sees this knows right away that the girls were abused. Someone stripped them. Someone raped them. They inserted all kinds of things into their intimate organs, like wooden boards, iron rods. Over 30 girls were murdered and raped here.”
There is Amit Soussana, who was kidnapped to Gaza for 55 days and raped by her captor when she was trying to bathe: “He came toward me and just pointed a gun really hard at my forehead, screaming at me, ‘Take it off. Take it off,’ and punching me until I could not hold the towel anymore. And he started touching me, and I resisted, and then he dragged me to the bedroom. And then he forced me to commit a sexual act on him.”
Just to transcribe these quotations is awful. It may also seem gratuitous. But the refusal by so many people to acknowledge what happened, often accompanied by sneering derision, makes it necessary.
It also illustrates some important points about the rapes and mutilations.
One is that the sexual violence appears to have been by design. Terrorists engaged in gigantic killing sprees usually don’t have time to strip and rape their victims. Morgues don’t typically find body after body arriving with bloodied underpants, butchered breasts, mutilated groins. On Oct. 7 and the days that followed, they did, and not just in a few isolated incidents. How did so many of the killers get the same idea?
Another is that the primary purpose of the rapes was not sexual gratification. It was humiliation and terror. “When the body of the woman is violated, it symbolizes the body of the whole nation,” Ruth Halperin-Kaddari, a former vice president of the U.N. Committee on Elimination of Discrimination Against Women, observed to Sandberg. And what better way to terrify an enemy than through forms of sexual violence that make the rape scene in “A Clockwork Orange” seem tame by comparison?
A third point that goes beyond Israel: Sexual violence has always been a tool of war. But widespread awareness of it, along with an international determination to stop it, really started only in the 1990s with the horrors in the Balkans and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The giant shrug with which the rape of Israeli women is being met suggests that time may be over. What starts with the Jews, as the saying goes, never ends with the Jews.
Which raises a final point.
“I’ve spent my life, obviously, building businesses,” Sandberg told me toward the end of our interview. “And separately I’ve spent a lot of my life fighting for women. And I never thought I was going to work on antisemitism. I didn’t think it was a problem, and I was absolutely wrong. And I never thought that politics could make any group or feminist leader turn a blind eye to just such clear documentation of sexual violence.”
With “Screams Before Silence,” Sandberg has screamed back at the silence. Is anybody listening?

l am unsure what exactly the defense intends to present. l am quite familiar with the law regarding third party perpetrators and unless the defense can provide a nexus between any alleged third party perpetrators and the charged crimes those allegations are unsupported and will be inadmissible.

Excerpt from Joyner v State:

...our review is guided by the Indiana Rules of Evidence, which were adopted, effective January 1, 1994...Evidence is relevant when it has "any tendency to make the existence of any fact that is of consequence to the determination of the action more probable or less probable than it would be without the evidence." Ind.Evidence Rule 401.
Evidence which tends to show that someone else committed the crime logically makes it less probable that the defendant committed the crime, and thus meets the definition of relevance in Rule 401.

Timeline of Investigation into the Delphi VinlandeOdin "Social Club"

[2/12/17-Most likely there was a Sunday night meeting of Delphi Vinlanders, Probates and wannabes, at PW's home. This is the week following BH's Gothi announcement on FB-he is no longer Gothi or Priest of the Delphi Club, but will be a travelling Gothi/Priest. Given what we know from the Franks Memorandum, JM may have been at this meeting-see below. It's not certain BH was there, but given one of his FB posts that day it seems probable. LH would also attend these meetings with his dad. It was thought that when LH came to Delphi for these Sunday meetings he would also arrange to visit with Abby.]
2/12/17-Abby and Libby on the phone to friends, asked an ex-boyfriend if he wanted to meet them at the High Bridge the next day, as they all had it off from school. It's uncertain if Abby saw or spoke to LH that Sunday. Or if LH had the following Monday off, as well. He attended Logansport High. Also not known is who else the girls spoke with over that entire weekend.

2/14/17-EF CONFESSES to involvement in the murders to his sister, telling her (from First Franks Memorandum):

...that he was present at the killings and that he (EF) now had “a brother” and was now part of “a gang.”
EF also admitted to a different sister (J) that he had in fact spit on one of the girls. Elvis told J, that he (EF) was on a trail and a bridge with two girls that were killed and that he was going away for a long time.

(EF's sister passed a polygraph.)
[Mid-February 2017 BH and PW have a falling out. BH's wife AH said that the falling out was over a ritual near water, and that PW had expressed an interest in moving beyond animal sacrifice to humans.]

She [AH] said that BH spoke of PW one time when he was intoxicated and said that he and PW got into a fight, and they no longer speak to each other. He told her that he and PW were in the woods, near a river conducting a ritual. One of them said or did something that the other did not agree with and they no longer talk to each other. She said the river was near PW’s house. Note, BH has a Facebook post with him and Patrick together on January 21, 2017.

(PW in his interviews on SI gives a different account of the falling out between the two. He states that he discovered that BH had been attending church on Sunday mornings, and then attending the Vinlander meetings at PW's home, Sunday nights. This, for PW, was a betrayal Heathen practices and Christian faith are, at least in his mind, not compatible. He didn't want anyone in his Social Club to practice Christianity. On and interesting side note, PW said that BH had left his rune making tools at his home, and never returned to retrieve them. This seems odd, as if you viewed BH's FB page, he loved his handmade runes and knives. He posted about them a lot. It's almost as if he was afraid to return to PW's home.)

3/30/17-Vinlanders/American Guard JM & PW attend a number of Trump Rallies together sporting signs advertising Race War symbols. Though these two will have a falling out, they are clearly still attending events together at this time. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has the photos to prove it.
4/12/17-Civilian RB contacts T. Leazenby regarding disturbing images on BH FB page. One of these photos appears to replicate the Delphi murders. TL ignores this so RB contacts State Police speaks with J.Winters. Winters asks Holeman to re-interview BH. Appears never to have happened.
June of 2017 (From First Franks Memorandum) -

...Jerry Holeman told a different story to Trooper Roland Purdy concerning the conclusions of the Purdue professor Trooper Purdy began assisting with the investigation in March, 2017. However, the first time that Purdy ever even heard the word “Odin” or “Odinite” was “at least May or June” of 2017. It’s also important to note that the first time that Trooper Purdy heard the word “Odin” or “Odinite” wasn’t even through Unified Command or any other law enforcement officer, but rather through BP, who is Libby German’s grandmother. BP, while talking to Trooper Purdy, informed Purdy that Abby Williams had dated BH’s son (LH) and that Logan’s dad was an Odinist named BH. This information interested Purdy who then talked to Holeman, and Holeman told Purdy that they had already run the stick formations and Odin angle through a Purdue professor. Holeman told Purdy that the results from the Purdue professor were “kind of inconclusive.”59 Purdy also believes he was provided “a copy of what Purdue University had provided them.” Upon reviewing that Purdue report, according to Purdy, the Odinite angle was not dead.

February of 2018- EF asks Trooper Murphy if his spit was found on the girls and he could explain it, would he still be in trouble. EF also mimicked images from BH's FB page.

This mimicking is certainly curious. Especially when BH’s son dated Abby Williams and when EF, 125+ miles away, CONFESSED to both of his sisters on two different occasions that he was involved in the murders. This CONFESSION included telling one sister that Abby Williams was a trouble maker and that is why he (EF) used sticks to form horns on Abby’s head, and admitting to another sister that he was in big trouble and going away for a while because he was present when the girls were murdered, and that he spit on the girls. What are the odds that BH’s son is dating Abby Williams, and 125 miles away a fan boy of BH named EF was mimicking BH’s Facebook posts, and that fan boy admitted to being involved in the murders of the girls?

June 2018-Detectives Ferency and Murphy arrive in Rushville to interview EF and are tasked with making a connection between EF, BH & PW. They are assisted by assistant chief of police, Todd Click.
1/30/19-
Todd Click executes search warrant to retrieve one of JM's old phones, that has been located by an ex-girlfriend. This phone has video of JM abducting a drug dealer's pal, until that pal managed to replace 4k of meth that was stolen from JM. Click informs Unified Command that he has this phone, they never retrieve it. Defense now has possession of it.
Also in 2019

In 2019, Unified Command learned that in a totally different conversation with his ex-wife, BH pointed the finger away from himself and directly at Patrick Westfall, as being the person actually responsible for the murders of Abby and Libby. According to police reports, Brad Holder told his ex-wife (AH) that “Westfall and ‘his people’ killed Abigail Williams and Liberty German because one of their mothers was ‘mixing’ with other people outside the mother’s race.” Furthermore, Unified Command was aware that BH had told Amber that “I can only protect you so much if you keep asking questions.” BH further told his ex- wife Amber that PW had many people backing him (PW) up and that PW also had ‘powerful friends.’ Liggett knew of this information for more than three years before Liggett sought a search warrant for Richard Allen’s house, yet Liggett never shared that information with Judge Diener. Additionally, PW provided a very weak alibi as to his whereabouts on February 13, 2017. Westfall told law enforcement that he (Westfall) was at home the afternoon of Monday, February 13, 2017. The Defense is unaware of any search warrant that Liggett sought to enter Westfall’s house or whether Unified Command instructed law enforcement to knock on a single neighbor’s door to verify PW’s alibi.
JM’s ex-girlfriend, TH, told police that JM and PW were like brothers. She also told police that she had allowed JM to borrow her car on or around Valentine’s Day 2017 and that JM drove her car “up there” to hang with his Vinlander friends. When he returned her vehicle, it had dried blood over one side of it. JM refused to discuss the details of how the blood got there. JMr’s ex-girlfriend further stated that it took her several car washes to finally remove the blood. Meanwhile,JM has claimed that he had never, not once in his life, been to Delphi, home of his “brother” PW, and near the home of his other Odinite brother, BH.

JM’s ex-girlfriend also told law enforcement that BH and JM were two of the most violent people she knew and were fully capable of having been involved in the murders. JM’s ex-girlfriend further stated that a motive for their involvement in the murder of Abby and Libby might be the concept of “blood in and blood out”, which means “social acceptance into their secret circles.” All this information was relayed to Liggett and the Unified Command team, yet Unified Command provided no guidance as to what to do to capitalize on this information in order to work toward solving the murders.

Additionally, Unified Command learned that JM’s ex-girlfriend had been listening to and recording JM’s phone calls. Police secured the phone and listened to three phone calls involving JM. In two of those phone calls, JM was “offering money to other people to find someone so they can be injured or killed.” The third call involves JM “bragging about holding a subject hostage and shooting them at his house.”

[JM was arrested four times between 2010 and 2018. The charges against him ranged from his threatening another person with a gun, to possession of meth with possession of a gun as a violent felon. He never went to trial, he would plead guilty to lesser charges. He never served any prison time. He either received probation or home detention. In 2020 he received a sentence reduction from his 2018 conviction.]
2023-
April 28, 2023-Todd Click sends "Odin" report to Carroll County Prosecutor Nick McLeland. Never hears back from McLeland. Instead hears back from Investigator Mullins in August of 2023. An interview is set up, as Click exits the interview he sees BH at the station.
August of 2023-Just before the First Franks Memorandum drops in September of 2023 , BH and PW are interviewed again. Apparently PW also takes a polygraph and is asked for a buccal swab (DNA). PW's son is questioned as to his whereabouts on 2/13/17.
March 18, 2024- Hearing for Motion to Dismiss. Testimony of former assistant chief of police of Rushville, Todd Click, reveals that he and detectives Ferency and Murphy from Terre Haute (both these detectives were part of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force as well as working for the State of Indiana) member were able to make a connection between BH, PW, JM & EF. The connection is made by way of JM's father had lived with EF for a period of time. Click also testifies to EF's confessions and is asked what these investigators did with this information.

A That information was given - of course, myself, Detective Murphy, and Detective Ferency were aware of that information, and I was told by Detective Ferency and Detective Murphy that they were going to try to contact Unified Command to try and obtain a search warrant for the residence of Evis Fields.
Q Okay What happened with that?
A We never heard anything.

BH's ex-wife, AH, was not allowed to testify, but Attorney Baldwin made an offer of proof as to what AH would have testified to, had she been allowed.

If AH were allowed to testify, she would tell you that police, including Jerry Holeman and the other people that were deposed by the defense counsel in August of 2023, have never talked to AH since August of 2023. She would testify that BH talked about 'the Delphi case; that BH told her that he and PW had a falling out over a ritual in the woods near a river because PW wanted to up the ante from animal sacrifices. If AH were allowed to testify, she would tell you that PW, according to BH, committed these crimes, he is protected by powerful people. He would al - she would also testify that she saw on BH's phone girls that he knew that he posed on the ground with sticks, and that she knows are runes from her own heathenism belief system, that were runes on these girls in the form of sticks, and that he had them on his phone and there were multiple photos on his phone; and finally, that she would also testify that Brad Holder knew Abby Williams much better than he told the police, he told her that he met her several times. That is the end of my offer of proof in this witness. Thank you

2. Execute any warrants on the homes of any of the Vinlander persons of interest
