Sssl glype proxy

Web proxy with search bar

2023.09.26 13:41 flodes80 Web proxy with search bar

Hi everyone!
I'm looking for a selfhost app that would be a web proxy with a search bar like this unmaintained app https://github.com/vincentclee/glype or this one https://github.com/Athlon1600/php-proxy-app
But I do not find any application still maintained if someone has an idea I'm a taker! Thanks in advance!
PS: I've already tried guacamole with a remote browser but it's too slow because I'm on a raspberry and I don't want a proxy to configure on my pc either, I'd like it to be turnkey via a URL.

2022.01.19 13:41 Automatic-Deal-8268 Why do I need a Proxy for an e-commerce site and how can I create one?

Hello, I'm trying to develop a php e-commerce website. My senior told me that I'd need proxy for that and should learn more about it. I'm assuming that he means I need a php proxy script and since my senior requested that I don't include any other libraries and scripts but instead try to write my own scripts, I'm guessing that I'm going to need to search for top ones and study their code. Am I correct? There seems to be one called Glype that is the most popular one, but are there any other examples I can study? Perhaps simpler ones? And why do I exactly need a proxy again? I'm a junior dev with only 7 months of experience so I'm a bit lost. Thank you in advance.

2019.04.14 10:50 TheNinthJhana A web portal to escape a proxy just for browser?

Hey!, hope your server is fine!

I want to know if something exists : a web page which could be used like a portal to the outside internet - sort of a vpn, to forward other web pages to me. So a VPN without the need to install anything. If it exists i would like to selfhost such a solution.

Explanation : there is a corporate proxy i cannot and should not escape. I can reach my own server but not few web pages i would like.

For other use cases i have openVPN but i believe it is not adapted to this specific use case, because i just want a web browser to avoid the corporate proxy. Not to forward all traffic! And i need to stay in the corporate network.

Worth noting i am not admin of this Windows workstation so cannot install anything. I tried Opera (portable) because it has VPN included at browser level. Except it does not work, probably because of proxy.

Any idea? Thanks!

EDIT :
thanks all for your answers. What i was looking for indeed exists, and is called a "web proxy" : this is a web page that includes a "location bar" so you may reach other web pages from the web proxy. Glype works but has no commit from 3 years, PHP-Proxy is another example. This is very simple to host but you better be careful about security.
Another solution is a remote desktop you reach from a web page. Your client to the remote desktop is a web browser. See "Guacamole".

2018.06.02 16:07 titooo7 I need help to reduce the cpu high load of my VPS

So I'm running a proxy site (glype) on a VPS and ramnode suspended it twice this week as ""has been running at a high load for an extended period of time. Please reduce your usage to be consistently under a 1.0 load and notify us once you've done so."
I got no idea what's the cause as whenever I look everything seems fine, but it looks like the cause could be php-fpm...
Does anyone know an script that I could run to get php-fpm restarted when cpu usage is 0.9?

Glype Proxy and PHP-Proxy are dead. With rise of draconian governments that ban the use of VPN, the world needs a modern open source proxy project now more than ever. Here are some features I'm thinking a modern proxy project should support:
What other features would you like to see?

2017.11.13 22:55 iCitron How to set up a proxy properly?

I found some proxy scripts on the web like Glype and I decided I wanted one for myself. I've tested it in localhost and I works great. I tried hosting it on a really cheap host with a free domain name (.tk) but I got suspended for that.. Now my wonder is, where can I host this up? Do any of you have some advices for that purpose or some similar stories to share? I heard low end VPS are also an option but I have no idea what they do.
Sorry if this goes against the subreddit rules anyhow

2017.09.18 20:10 jamalstevens Help with cloudflare https redirection

Hey all,
So I'm running apache on an Ubuntu VPS and have cloudflare setup to handle DNS and SSL. One of the problems I'm having is if I get redirected by an app on my site to a different page on the site the address reverts back to http. I want it to stay at the https site at all times. This can even happen when I just go to my homepage and type in Https://domain.com/app, sometimes it will open as http://domain.com/app. I have cloudflare setup with 2 A records (app.domain.com and domain.com) and one CNAME record (www being an alias of domain.com)
I also have the crypto section set to flexible SSL and Always use HTTPS.
The app I'm trying to get working is a GLYPE php proxy. But again this happens even when I just try to go to https://www.domain.com/app.
any help? Thanks!

2017.01.03 07:47 SmellYaLater Could someone please have a look at my network settings? I can boot Tails but I cannot connect to a network

Tor is never ready to start. I'm trying to use a wifi connection. I own the network/connection I am trying to access. It is not public wifi.
There is no network connection, it would seem. So, I went into the settings and here is what I found:
I first went to Apps System tools Settings and I found the following in Network proxy:
Method: Manual
HTTP Proxy: [blank] [8080]
HTTPS Proxy: [blank] [ 0 ]
FTP Proxy: [blank] [ 0 ]
SOCKS Host: [blank] [ 0 ]
Ignore Hosts: [localhost, 127.0.0.0/8, ::1]
Then I went to Auto:
Configuration URL: [ blank ]
After that, I opened the browser and went into the connection settings. And this is what I found:
Manual Proxy settings:
HTTP Proxy: [blank] [Port 0]
SSSL Proxy: [blank] [Port 0]
FTP Proxy: [blank] [Port 0]
SOCKS Host [127.0.0.1] [Port 9150]
Socks v5 [YES], Remote DNS [YES]
No proxy for: [ blank ]
Auto Proxy Configuration URL: [ blank ]
All other choices, apart from manual are blank
So, can someone tell me WTF is going on here? I have absolutely no idea what any of these values should be. I just want to get online with this shit and I'm fucked at the last hurdle.

2016.06.09 13:51 watsee Best Proxy to Host on CPanel?

Hi all,
It appears that my workplace has recently and very, very quietly introduced an internet monitoring policy. So quiet in fact that us in our office have not been told about it (I have been made aware from a friend in the IT office that this has begun)
Now I don't access anything at work that I shouldn't, I'm not as silly as that. But as I'm quite a principal person, I do not wish for the company to spy on me without my expressed knowledge and/or consent. I have checked my employee handbook and IT policy and there has been nothing put into place regarding the monitoring of systems. So until I'm made aware of this properly - I refuse to have my actions monitored.
I currently host a Glype proxy on a CPanel host. Its OK but as with many proxies, the experience just isn't anywhere near browsing normally.
So far I'm fairly unimpressed with the experience I'm having with Glype, what I have found is that it regularly redirects to mobile version of websites & that even with scripts turned on - not all website content appears. All I want to do is anonymise the URL I'm visiting, I'm not really bothered about encryption and blocking scripts. I know that this does not make me 100% protected, but as far as I am aware - the low-level system put into place only records URLs accessed.
Does anyone have any suggestions for any better proxies that I can host?

2014.08.13 18:43 Zeal419 Access to OKC blocked at work, can't seem to find a proxy that works...

Hello!
I work on a ship and the network blocks access to OKC, (as well as some proxies). I was using coolproxy.biz, which got me past login (that many other proxies, specifically glype ones, were unable to do) but now cannot submit a message. When I hit send the button changes to grey and then after two or three seconds back to blue. Anyone know of a way around this?
Thanks guys.
EDIT: Nor can I save any changes to the profile. The button does nothing at all.

2014.08.06 05:09 Parzivus What prozies/vpns work the best?

The school year is here and with it, trying to get on reddit when I have free time (lunch and whatnot). However, I switched from iOS to android this summer and I can't use the OpenDoor app I used to. What proxy websites/apps work the best? Would a vpn work in this case, and if so, which vpns are good? I've tested a few and the school appears to block glype proxies . Any help is appreciated.

2014.05.27 21:33 NuAngel My First Day with Doge... what mining clients do you use?

I asked, a few hours ago, about Windows Phone wallets, now I'm curious what people use to mine using their gaming rigs?
Is any one miner application better than another?
Are you part of a pool, or do you solo mine?
Is there any purpose in CPU mining (I have 3 machines that basically act as file servers and are otherwise idle 24/7 - even would it even be worth it to try?)?
Also, once I have more coins built up, I think it would be really cool to set up my own Faucet site. Does somebody out there have an "install and run" DogeFaucet? (like how WordPress or Drupal can be installed, and wham, you have a blog, or how PHPurl can be installed to host your own URL shortener, or Glype can be installed to host your own proxy server - easy end-user type stuff).
Thanks for any tips! (and by that I mean ADVICE!).
