2024.05.14 11:23 lazymentors Making Best of Influencers using Structures & Flows Above.

1/ A format like A day in my life follows the same structure as TV Pilot. If any influencer is organically recording their day. Our Character established an intent in their mind to tell a story and when they want, they comeback to highlight new events. And at the end, they leave audience hanging because now the audience is hooked to know the details.
Example; Beauty and Fashion Products highlighted in GRWM & A day in my life Content when influencers get invited to an event or have something special to do.
2/ A format like Online Rant follows another framework of TV Pilot structuring. In this format, audience is left wondering what provoked the starting rant in a short form video, and by the near end. Our Influencer has a relatable story and character mystery to engage people in taking an Action.
Example; Movie Criticism on Youtube always leads you to influencers recommending ‘Mubi’, A Streaming platform focused on having great movies only.
I can name many other influencer formats following Pilot Episode Model because it works and many brands are winning at performative influencer marketing with them. I think if you care about performance and RPI, You shouldn’t end your process at bulk influencer outreaches, instead you should build a universe around your influencers. If you want Disney-like profits, thinking about ROI is only a small part of the strategy.

2024.05.14 11:22 dentalzzz AITAH for not visiting my parents while in town visiting my wife’s family?

Me (29M) and my wife (27F) have been married 6 years, live in the midwest, and all our family lives within 10 miles of each other out west. My in-laws invited and paid for my wife and I to fly west on Saturday and leave Tuesday to enjoy time with my wife’s family doing many planned activities. While here, I never made plans to visit my folks because the purpose of our visit was to be with my wife’s family and they were the ones who had paid for our travel. My family knew I was in town, but I never clearly explained beforehand that our visit was a treat from my in-laws to spend time with my wife’s family.
For some additional context, 2 weeks ago I flew west on my own for 4 days to attend some MLB games with my dad and attend some other family functions - while out west I didn’t visit my wife’s family. Later that same week, my whole family came out to the Midwest for a few days for my graduation and we all had a great time. My wife’s family is much larger than mine and was not there for my graduation.
Tonight, my wife and I attended an MLB game in a suite with her whole family. My dad and brother happened to be at the same game in “standard” seats. I tried to go say hello during the game, but I couldn’t get the suite tickets to transfer to my phone which was needed for my re-entry. I informed them of this problem and that I was sorry I couldn’t see them. When my brother asked if we could see each other after the game I told him that as a guest to my wife’s family function I’d feel uncomfortable asking them to delay their departure - but that I was looking forward to seeing at a planned meet-up next month.
Not long after the game, I received the following text from my dad in which he shares feelings of being purposefully excluded.
He said: “Tonight was hard for me. I do not understand the circumstances that you are in. I do not understand the dynamics of XXX's family. I am trying not to feel bad about you or (my wife’s) family. I am struggling with feelings that we have been purposely excluded from your visit and I do not understand why that was necessary. I have chosen to share this with you because I would rather not make up stories in my head that would turn into resentment. I love you, Dad”
To which I responded: “Hi! I'm so sorry that you've been feeling this! The XXX family had planned this weekend of family events, had invited (my wife) and I to be a part of them a few weeks ago, and purchased our flights so that we could be in attendance. It's not at all that (my wife) and I were simply excluding you from a visit out west - it just wasn't the purpose of our visit. I can totally understand how you would feel purposefully excluded without that information and I'm so sorry you feel that!! I'm sorry that I never made that known. With both families living in close proximity I can appreciate a need to improve communication on such matters. I love you so much!”
I did my best to provide some clarification to him on the matter, but AITAH?
How might you have responded/acted differently?

2024.05.14 11:22 HealthyYard6559 Revelation 1:1-3

,, The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him, to show His servants what will soon be, and showed by sending an angel to His servant John, Who testifies the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, and whatever they see. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep what is written therein; for the time is near"
Rev. 1:1-3
John received the Revelation from an angel sent by the Lord Jesus because angels are official spirits who help people:
"Are not all ministering spirits sent to minister to those who will inherit salvation?"
Hebrews 1:14
and we read about it in the first verse, and in the second verse we see what John testified about:
"Who bear witness to the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, and whatever they see."
Rev. 1:2
Here we first notice that John is a witness, but immediately afterwards we also see what he testified to. He did not testify to some of his thoughts or ideas or some teaching of some "wise teacher", but it is clearly written that he testified to "the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, and whatever they see.". Jesus sent him a revelation and John is now testifying and this is the characteristic of born-again people who are sent by God to testify to what God has revealed and shown them.
"For whom God sends, he speaks the word of God: for God does not give the Spirit by measure."
John 3:34
As a rule, this testimony of theirs does not have to be aesthetically beautiful, the witness does not have to be a trained preacher or a super eloquent speaker, it is important that he conveys what God wants, "the Word of God". There are examples of this in the Bible and we can read about it, for example for this are: Moses, who was slow to speak, even complained to God:
"And Moses said to the Lord: I pray to You, Lord, I am not a eloquent man, neither was I before nor have I been since you spoke to your servant, but I am slow of mouth and slow of tongue."
Gen. 4:10
the prophet Jeremiah was young:
,, And I said: Oh, Lord, Lord! Here, I don't know how to speak, because I'm a child."
Jer. 1:6
Well, both Peter and John were uneducated, but they were exceptional witnesses of God who were born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, faith and the science they preached, and that science is "the word of God".
Here is what Peter said to Timothy:
,,I adjure you, therefore, before God and our Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead, at His coming and His kingdom: Preach the word, strive in good times and in bad times, rebuke, threaten, plead with all bearing and teaching; Because the time will come when they will not listen to sound teachings, but according to their desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves, as their ears itch, And they will turn their ears away from the truth, and will turn to soothsayers."
2 Tim. 4:1-4
He advises him to preach the "Word" even though he knows that the vast majority of people will not listen to him or will not understand what he is saying. People will always find some more popular topics to listen to, and they will ignore the word of God or find some common sense answer and justification to justify themselves and disobey. And it's no wonder because the Word of God is the truth:
"Avenge them with your truth: your word is your truth."
John 17:17
and Satan fights against the truth and tries to present a lie as the truth and now he markets his truth nicely packaged and many are inclined to believe him and ignore God's truth. ignores.
"As born again, not from the seed that rots, but from the one that does not rot, by the word of the Living God, which remains forever."
1 Peter 1:23
God's servants listen to the Word of God, believe what God said and practice the word, and for those who listen to Satan, it is written that they are not God's.
"He who is of God listens to the words of God; therefore you do not listen, because you are not of God."
John 8:47
and this is what will happen to them one day as they persistently reject the Word of God:
"And that's why God will send them the force of deception, to believe lies; Let all those who did not believe the truth, but loved unrighteousness, receive judgment."
2 Thess. 2:11-12
John proclaimed the word of God but also the "testimony of Jesus Christ" and that is why John was thrown on Patmos.
"I, John, who am both your brother and friend in trouble, and in the kingdom and suffering of Jesus Christ, was on the island called Patam, for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ."
Rev. 1:9
John was announcing what would be, so he had the spirit of prophecy with which he announced Jesus in the glory in which he will come and the events that will take place:
,, And falling at his feet I worshiped him; and he said to me: Look, do not, I am a servant like you and your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Bow down to God; for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.""
Rev. 19:10
Therefore, the Holy Spirit announces future events to us through John, and about these promises, the Lord Jesus said:
"And when He comes, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you to every truth; for he will not speak of himself, but will speak what he hears, and will tell you beforehand what will happen."
John 16:13
The central person of this prophecy is in fact the Lord Jesus who is the "Spirit of Prophecy" i.e. the "Testimony of Jesus" about whom John testified because of which he ended up on the island of Patmos. John was transferred to the future and an angel showed him future events because it says,,And whatever they see". And this implies a very large number of events that John saw, about which the Revelation writes to show us what will happen until the very end of the world and the beginning of the new heaven and the new earth until eternity.
"Blessed is he who reads and those who listen to the words of the prophecy, and keep what is written in it; for the time is near"
Rev. 1:3
The continuation begins with bliss because it says "blessed" and that means happy, blessed is the one who listens to what the Lord Jesus Christ says. Here is what the Lord Jesus said:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kindom of heaven; Blessed are those who weep, for they will be comforted; Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth; Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be filled; Blessed are the merciful, for they will be pardoned; Blessed those who are pure in heart, because they will see God; Blessed are those who build peace, because they will be called sons of God; Blessed are those exiled for the sake of justice, because their kingdom is heavenly. Blessed are you if they embarrass you and ostracize you and say all sorts of bad things about you while lying, for my sake"
Mtt. 5:3-11
"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on..."
Rev. 14:13
"Blessed is he who is awake and keeps his clothes, so that he does not walk and his shame is not seen."
Rev. 16:15
"Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb. And he said to me: These are the true words of God."
Rev. 19:9
"Blessed and holy is he who has a part in the first resurrection; over them the second death has no domain, but they will be priests of God and Christ, and they will reign with Him for a thousand years."
Rev. 20:6
"Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book"
Rev. 22:7
"Blessed is he who does His commandments, that they may have authority over the tree of life, and that they may enter the gate into the city."
Rev. 22:14
From this verse we see "Blessed is he who reads" and that is God's promise intended for all those who read Revelation and the other books that God sent us and the next thing we notice is that it says "Blessed is he who reads" so he reads constantly and does not read once and thinks he has learned everything. This book is read, studied and analyzed because that is how God gives us information every time we do this.
In addition to reading about this book and the publication that was written, it can also be listened to, and we read for the listeners. Blessed are those who listen to the words of prophecy. This was written in a time when many people were illiterate and did not know how to read, so it is the only the way to find out what is revealed in the Revelation is listening to what people who knew how to read interpreted or read the original text. So from these verses we see that it does not matter whether someone reads or listens to the revelation the blessings are the same.
At the end of the verse, it says "blessings for those who keep what is written in it"; because the time is near" and here is a normal sequence of events because the one who reads or listens is vindicated by the announcement:
"Whoever wants to do His will will understand whether this teaching is from God or I am speaking from myself."
John 7:17
and they will try to keep and want to practice what God expects of them. because they recognized Jesus as the savior:
"Kind! Now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we will be; but we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."
1 John 3:2-3
And we have reached the end of the verse where it says that "the time is near" which means that we should read, listen and practice science because the time described in the Revelation is very close especially for us because we can clearly see based on the signs of the times that it is the last the time is very close so close that we can see the signs being fulfilled before our eyes in real time, for us it is no longer a prophecy but events that are happening and confirm the truth of what was published in the last book of the Bible Revelation.
The events that are taking place and the warning "that the time is near" should only strengthen us in faith and we should practice what is written in the second epistle of Peter.
"And we have the most reliable prophetic word, and you do well to pay attention to it, like a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the dawn is born in your hearts."
2 Peter 1:19

2024.05.14 11:02 WeddingThrow14052024 WIBTA for wanting to invite only my best friend to my elopement, and not his partner?

Background:
I (34m) will be getting married soon, and my fiancée(30f) and I have decided to have our wedding in a country far away. We've made the decision to keep the guest list intimate, consisting only of our parents, my fiancée best friend and my best friend.
The Situation:
My best friend, whom I've known for over 20 years, is an integral part of my life, and naturally, I want him to be there on my special day. However, he is in a long-term relationship. While we have nothing against his partner, we don't know her that well and I feel that having her join us would not align with the intimate setting we envision for our wedding.
I would also mention that we want to cover the costs entirely (transportation, accommodation) and we will make sure to mention that we want no money or wedding presents.
My Concern:
I'm hesitant to extend an invitation to my best friend's partner because I want our wedding to be a close-knit gathering with only our nearest and dearest. Inviting his partner would significantly expand the guest list and potentially change the dynamic of the event.
The Dilemma:
I'm torn between wanting to include my best friend's partner out of respect for their relationship and sticking to our original plan of keeping the guest list small and intimate. I value my best friend's presence immensely, but I also want to maintain the vision my fiancé and I have for our wedding.
Conclusion:
So, Reddit, WIBTA for wanting to invite only my best friend to my destination wedding, and not his partner? I genuinely want to do what's right and respectful, but I'm struggling to find the balance between honoring my friendship and sticking to our wedding plans.
Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

2024.05.14 11:00 -ps-yche- Recommendation letter contact information

So, my dean already wrote for me the letter of recommendation and she already signed it. But apparently she didn't include her contact information Inside the letter. I understand it's partly my fault as I didn't instruct her and what to explicitly include and didn't show her the recommendation letter sample shown by the embassy. However, could I like put her contact information on a small side sheet, and attach it to the envelope??

2024.05.14 11:00 drred97 Help with combinatorics needed

Hi, I'm writing my master's thesis in experimental particle physics. I have a sample of simulated signal events, from which i try to reconstruct the higgs boson in each event by adding up the four highest momentum Kaons, two positively charged, two negatively charged ones (setting up a search for higgs pseudoscalars). Normally they peak nicely at the higgs mass, but there is also a smaller peak right next to that on the left, which has to be from combinatorics since we only look at the signal simulation. My supervisors and me concluded that we simply choose a wrong kaon in our reconstruction, which is obvious. However, we cannot explain why this leads to a peak in our histogram... Is this a known phenomenon?

2024.05.14 10:50 Cultural_Carrot_3390 do i go or not?

I’m having trouble on what to do in my relationship and I need someone’s opinion.
My friend’s baby will have his binyag and 1st birthday celebration. The couple are my neighbors and i’m very close with them and their whole family (parents, siblings, cousins, etc.) I’ll be one of the ninangs sa binyag ni baby. Invited yung ate ko and her baby kasi magka-edad lang yung babies nila and sila lang yung match to be playmates. Also, invited din yung boyfriend ko kasi he’s friends with the father naman. We live in a city na maliit lang mundo namin and so yung parents ni baby are friends with my ex na napangakuang ninong siya even before we broke up. Also may isa pang ninong don na nanligaw sakin before but nothing happened and we never went out on a date, although nung single ako, nag-uusap kami thru chat every now and then but nothing flirty kaso medyo naging sad boy yun nung sinabi kong hindi ako interested sakaniya in a romantic way.
Background lang ng story namin ni bf, we were together year 2017-2020 then broke up for 3 years (mutual decision) then got back together (no one saw this coming) this 2023. So yung ex ko na isa sa mga ninong, is the guy i’m with nung 2020-2022.
So now boyfriend’s telling me that he’s not comfortable of me going to the event kasi not only my ex is there, also someone na nanligaw sakin. Sa given na background pa lang, understandable din naman bakit siya hindi comfortable sa event na yun. Of course I understand how he feels, and i’m really weighing my decision here. The event is for the baby naman kasi and i want to show up bilang pamilya na rin ang turing ko sakanila. Sabi ko kay bf, can we at least compromise na kahit sa binyag na lang ako pupunta and wag na sa birthday kasi ninang nga ako. He’s not being a bitch about the topic naman but I can feel his frustrations. Ayaw niya pumunta sa even kahit invited siya kasi hindi niya circle yun and yun nga hindi maganda yung set up for him eh ayaw ko rin naman siya pilitin if he doesnt want to.
What do you think i should do? I dont want to be insensitive on both sides. I’m really torn. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings here.

Discord: Lord of Rats
Reddit: Is_Me_
Name: Lyonel Grandison
Age: 24
Cultural Group: Stormlander
Appearance: Lyn is a strongly built man, standing at just over 6ft tall with a strong chest. He sports a mane of thick, golden blonde hair that falls just before his neck alongside a neatly trimmed and groomed beard. Lyonel is known to be a man of few smiles, almost always having a stern expression affixed to his face and a cold look in his eyes. He is rarely seen out of his armour, simple steel plate mail chased with gold, and is never seen without his cloak which presents his personal coat of arms. The sleeping lion of House Grandison encased in the fiery heart of R’hllor.
Traits: Strong
Skills: Swords (e), Andal Knight, Vanguard, Essosi Blademaster
Talents: Dancing, Linguistics, Theology
Negative Traits: n/a
Starting Title(s): Lord of Grandview, the Red
Starting Location: Opening Event
Biography
Lyonel was born to Lord Jon Grandison and Lady Aelinor Swann in the first year of Targaryen rule. Lyonel quickly proved himself to be a hot-tempered child, getting into constant fights with his younger brother Balon which they oft times settled through sparring. Through this, Lyonel quickly found his love for the sword and shield and his father, ever a man to encourage a martial inclination, made sure to fill his halls with stories of the Knight of Ninestars and the Winged Knight.
Lyonel’s relationship with his father began to strain when he was four-and-ten. Living in House Grandison’s seat of Grandview, at the mouth of the Dornish Marches, Lyn found himself surrounded by those who loathed their southern neighbours and resented the rising Bastard of Blackhaven for marrying one such woman. Feelings he himself simply couldn’t agree with. He had always been fascinated by the Dornish, their history, their culture, their wine and most of all their people. This tolerance clashed with his father on many occasions, a fact that only drove Lyonel towards the Dornish more.
Two years later, Lyonel joined a host led by Jon to venture south towards Blackhaven, a feigned show of support for the bastard that had taken root. There, in the depths of the Marches, Lyonel and Balon snuck away from camp and found themselves in the company of two commonfolk. Wyl and his older sister, Myriah. The sets of siblings became close companions, with Lyn and Myriah quickly becoming smitten with each other. A fact that they fought to keep hidden from his father for years. But nothing remains hidden forever.
The fury Jon Grandison flew into at his son bedding not only a common girl, but a Dornish common girl is often reserved for plays and works of art. He threatened to disinherit his son if he didn’t end the relationship immediately, something that Lyonel wasn’t willing to do. So Lyn thought that he must get his way in a manner even his father must respect, a duel. Lyonel thought it flawless. His father respected nothing if not martial prowess and surely the gods would support the case of true love fighting against cruel discrimination. So when Lyonel awoke in his bed with his head pounding, his father smug and his love missing, he found himself at the greatest loss of his life.
Lyonel was never a pious man. He rarely visited the Sept and found the lore of the Seven mind numbing but he had always believed, and always believed that they were good. With his faith and heart broken, he couldn’t stand to be around his father any longer and set off for the land where the Seven’s reach hadn’t taken root. Essos. Upon his twentieth nameday, Lyonel set off from a dock along the Sea of Dorne for the Free City of Pentos.
He quickly found shelter in the home of Ario Oratyrys, a merchant native to the city, who was more than eager to house Lyn and his companions, if only for the coin they brought in. On the third night after their arrival, Lyonel left in the dead of night and wandered the streets aimlessly. Eventually finding himself before the Great Temple of R’hllor and there he felt the heat of the fires and heard the crackling of the wood and found something that he had never found with the Seven. A calling. Lyonel returned the following morning a zealot, with a red priestess named Bellenora by his side.
And for the next few years of his life, Lyonel remained in Pentos studying the lore of his new god, and others besides, learning the languages of the Free Cities and an Essosi flair to his formidable sword skills. This peaceful life remained until one fateful morning, Lyonel received a letter from his brother detailing that their father had died and called him to return to Grandview to take the seat that was rightfully his. Filled with his newfound sense of duty and purpose, he set off for his ancestral home.

Yes! Slippi is a branch of the Dolphin emulator that will allow you to play online, either with your friends or with matchmaking. Go to https://slippi.gg to get it.

2024.05.14 09:59 Zio_4456 What happened to LP?

Im a new fan of LP. I was doing some research about him and the amount of unexpected information is absolutely crazy. At first I thought he was in a happy relationship of 7 years but apparently things are a lot worse and I am truly confused, I downloaded this apps a few hours ago just to know more about whats going on with him and Matt.
Even though I am not a longtime fan of LP, the thought of him changing for the worse just because of a man like Matt really upsets me.
