So I’ve been talking to this guy a I met on a dating website for a couple weeks now & he’s really sweet. Honestly leaves me speechless half of the time. But here’s the thing… we haven’t met in person yet. And the first time we were scheduled to go on a date, he canceled saying he was on call (he works in the medical field) so I was like ok, no worries just let me know when your free next. The website www.iowacustomcar.com just takes the listings from a legitimate website called www.garagekeptmotors.com and list them as their own. “Salesmen” Lucas Harris (I’m sure is fake) (319)284-6343 will tell you he can only accept wire transfer or cashiers check. He’ll tell you can pay half up front and the other half upon delivery for good faith. They change the last digit of the VIN number to look legit but when you run the VIN, obviously nothing comes up. He’ll tell you that the car came from a widow so there’s no paperwork about it. Called the city hall and sheriff of Oelwein, IA and there’s no business license with that name and sheriff stated they’ve had multiple calls about the same fraud. Stay Vigilant fellow car enthusiasts!

She got even more bothered than before telling me to never ask about it again. She said I kept asking about it when she was drunk hoping that I would get her to say something about it. She was right about that part. So I didn't ask again. It kept and kept bothering me so so badly every few weeks the thought, I would try and forget about it as she had. She said those nights that "It doesn't matter anymore, it happened, nothing I can do about it so you forget it too, like I did." I told her okay. A few months later she got spiked going to a pub with her cousin and thought nothing of it. I was furious. Then a few months passed again.

So we went out last Sunday for a date, after the date I drove her to her house so she could change clothes. I still had her phone in my pocket because she didn't have any pockets. I opened her phone and looked at tiktoks since we shared the same humour. I then remember the tiktok I saw a few weeks ago about people looking through their partners phones, but to never look in their notes app. I remembered that, so I closed tiktok on her phone and looked, 4 notes down I opened a note titled with the moon emoji. There was 4 website links. All of them were for staged rape porn. I took a screenshot and looked at them only today. They were not the shitty PHUB acting ones. These were made to look as real as possible, I opened them and viewed them clicking through each minute, where it would start, my heart sank. How realistic they made it seem, this was breaking into house with mask M, SA a F. Or in a forest ones. I was disturbed and sickened not only at her, but to my stomach. I could hardly watch but skimmed through them all.
Thoughts popped into my head about the times where we would have sex and I would put my hand on her neck by accident the first times to hold onto something so I had balance. When I did the force of my weight squeezed her neck. She looked like she enjoyed it but we never talked about it, she never told me to do it or not to. I did it a few times again more agressively other times we had sex, it looked like she enjoyed it again. Now looking back at it and seeing her have porn and especially rape porn on her notes that were dated only a week ago. Did she develop a something mentally after her SA and kept it hidden? I kept asking myself, I still don't know. I don't know what to do. 2. Google Reverse Image search / Google Lens

Just crop out a picture with the command Windows+Shift+s (on PC) to open the snipping tool and crop out a piece of the picture you like / get the URL of the picture. Use Google Lens to search for you.

Search directly in Reddit subreddits for information.
As example: the conspiracy subreddit is kind of shadow banned on google. So if you search for something like „xyz Reddit conspiracy“ you won’t find any information about it on google.
So you need to search directly on Reddit.

2024.05.14 23:13 miklayn Transmission Compatibility - Mk6 GTI 2011 - DSG/DQ250

I have a 2011 GTI Autobahn with the DSG, transmission code MMA. We are trying to replace the transmission as it recently failed.
We bought a low(ish) mile replacement from salvage yard in NY, which they had listed on their website as code MMA, but when it was delivered, the trans shows code PBH and had a date stamp of 2016.
Upon calling the salvage shop, they insist it is cross compatible, but my local VW dealer could not confirm this and advised they would only use the correct code.
Can anyone confirm whether this transmission will work? Fifth digit of the VIN on my car is V.
I am considering asking them to sign a waiver honoring their own warranty as well as covering labor (and refunding our money) if it doesn't work.
Makes me livid that they wouldn't just list the transmission as it is actually stamped.

2024.05.14 23:04 DarkRayne17 DayZ freezing on server load with new At&t internet Air on XBOX Series X

I have seen this issue multiple times on DayZ forums and reddit with no resolution. When trying to join a server in Dayz the countdown will start and the loading bar will appear. When the countdown is done and the loading bar is around 25% complete the game will freeze on the blurred out character screen. There are a few RARE circumstances where the character will actually load into the server, but we load in completely desynced, even getting the character to load in requires constant restarting of the game.
We recently upgraded to At&t Internet Air using an All-fi Hub. We get anywhere from 120-300 mbps download and around 40mbps upload average PING is between 20-40. Our old internet was At&t Internet 10 which was awful. We got 11mbps for a few seconds and then kbps and it switched back and forth. Ping was awful on old internet. The old internet ran off a phone cable whereas this new internet is true wifi and connects you to a cell tower for 5G internet. Despite this, we were able to play Dayz on old internet with occasional lag and issues during congested hours, but playable.
My wife loves this game, it's the only thing she plays, she is involved with the community servers she plays in and now its been ripped away from her. I have done hours of EXTENSIVE troubleshooting trying to get this game to work with no success. I will list the methods I have gone through below.
NAT is Open
Ports are forwarded
Internet is strong and Ping is good.

The following methods of troubleshooting have been completed with no success:
Clearing Xbox cache, game save data, account save data, and all cloud-saved data.
deleting and reinstalling DayZ
Hard and soft reset of Xbox
clearing xbox MAC address and ensuring we have static IP address for Xbox
Port forwarding for xbox and common DayZ ports. I have used every available website and forum entry I could find to locate ports for this.
Playing on a different console
We still had some time left on our old internet so I hooked up the old router, made sure I could connect using several different devices and tried playing again on it, now it doesn't even work, so we can't even go back to our old internet.
MTU is currently 1430 (the old router was 1500, which was the only difference between settings other than connection type.) I CAN NOT change this. The router settings will not let me.
Messed around with IP address, MAC address, Gateway address.
I have (briefly mind you) messed around with firewall settings just to make sure they weren't blocking anything.
Tried IPV6 on and off.
Messed with Dayz Menu settings. All of them, FOV, Aim assist, any option that could be enabled, disabled, or changed, i have tried it.
Soft and hard reset the router, restored to factory conditions.
Tried MAC filtering between 2.4 and 5ghz.
Tried IP passthrough and allocation and packet filtering changes
Made sure everything was up to date: Xbox, Wifi router, DayZ
Tried playing with and without Livonia installed.
I have tried a wired and wireless connection with Xbox. keep in mind though, this router has no cable. It connects wirelessly to a cell tower. I have no broadband, fiber, or phone cable that runs to the router.
I HAVE CONTACTED MY ISP and they said they can't see anything wrong on their end. They said it must have something to do with the game's servers. Especially because this is the only game that does this. Every other online game works and runs fine with no issues.
Honestly, there are probably a few other things I have tried that I can't think of.

Cloud Gaming worked, but it's awful and practically unplayable
Now here's the weird thing that I saw several people posted. They were able to use their phone's mobile hotspot and join the server. This also worked for me. I used hotspot and was able to load right in but hotspot data gets eaten up like crazy so it isn't sustainable unless you only wanna play for an hour or 2 per month.
I think that's crazy because my phone is At&t 5G which uses a cell tower and it works. But my internet which is At&t 5G and uses a cell tower...doesn't work.

I have seen so many posts similar to this one and there are no solutions and rarely any DEV feedback. The most common feedback is to contact the ISP because it's something with them, but neither myself nor the ISP can find the issue because this is the ONLY game that has this problem. Unfortunately for me it's the only game my wife plays.
I have poured through forums, reddit, some weird places and tried every potential solution/suggestion that was offered. This is increasingly frustrating because I can usually figure stuff like this out. I try to be very thorough. I truly believe this has something to do with DayZ and how it communicates.
Any insight or suggestions are appreciated. I have also posted this to DayZ forums, Xbox forums, and At&t forums although phone rep could not find anything wrong on their end.

I'm trying to decide what platform to attempt to create a local event listing website on. I have always hated Wordpress, but I have tried playing about with some plugins and themes to test some ideas, I just really do not have the patience for it. I search for ages for a good plugin, and some of them do seem good, only to realise it is not compatible with a theme i am actually able to customise the way i want.
I understand webflow is not praised for its' CMS, and it is quite limited in comparison. I am wondering if there are workarounds for what i am trying to achieve before i got paying for an account?
for example, the CMS does not have the option to add a location field. Yes I can add a text field and have a user type the location, but i feel the option to have a map would be expected these days.
Even the date field is very basic, no option to slect times.
Finsweet seem to have some good options for CMS filtering, are there any other useful apps? A calendar that could link to the CMS items would be great, but doesn't seem to exist?

i had another interview today for an administrative assistant role in my uni's medical center where i would basically be handling np/pa's credentials, onboarding, certifications, etc. the interviewers said i would mainly be sending emails following up with people who haven't sent in forms/documents. they mentioned being short staffed at the moment since the previous aa had resigned. if things were slow or i was all caught up with work, i could potentially work on other things like the office's instagram and website. for this role, i had gotten a call with an offer for $18.50/hr as soon as i got home. however, this role would start as temp until sept, so no benefits. start date would be either may 28th or june 3rd. they want an answer by tomorrow the 15th, 1 pm or they'll move onto the next candidate. before starting, i would have to get a background check and drug test/assessment done.

If you migrate a simple website with some GB of webmail data, is already a little pain in the ass and many things can go wrong, imagine if you are going not just to "migrate" a game, with all the users data pool, but you are going to INSTALL a new engine in a new SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE. So, some logical questions are:
-How many time would you need to make a decent QA with the new engine at that new Data Center?
-Are you going to migrate the actual game with the actual data first to test all the IT issues that are implied in that step? or are you going to fresh install the new engine and then release to production so a QA process begin?

I had some 2020 version of the AMD driver installed for my HD 6950, but in trying to update it from there I ran into a problem where it failed to detect the driver on boot. I was able to resolve this temporarily by installing the Legacy version of the driver from their website. It would still fail on boot, but switching to an older version of the driver and back through Device Manager would fix it until the next boot. This got annoying to do every time, so I wiped the system with AMD's cleanup utility and tried doing a fresh install.
The legacy drivers offered on their website for the HD 6950 do work, but they're dated 2016 and some newer games I was playing no longer work with this version. I suspect a newer version introduces support for vulkan or a later version of opengl that this version lacks. I tried rummaging through the various Adrenaline 2020 Edition drivers. but they all claim to not support my card, despite having one of those before.
Any help locating a newer, compatible driver?

Later in the year as a holiday present, I am planning to give my girlfriend a themed gift based on one of her favorite Disney movies. I found a craft item on Etsy that I would like to pair with a piece of jewelry also themed from the same movie, and I have two choices: a ring, or a necklace.
I am hesitant on which to choose because I know there can be implications when it comes to rings, especially when they contain diamond. At the same time though, the ring is clearly themed, and doesn't bear much resemblance to a traditional engagement ring. Even the photos on the website show the model wearing it on her index finger. I just don't want her to think that I am proposing after a little less than a full year of dating for obvious reasons, I'm only trying to put together a thoughtful gift.
Some things I should add, she mentioned to me (unprompted) that though she had disliked promise rings in the past, she wouldn't dislike one from me. I am unfamiliar with promise rings for the most part, but at the very least she doesn't exclusively associate rings with marriage proposals, so it might be safe.
Secondly, she had mentioned offhandedly very early on that she would love if someone gave her a Disney princess ring (she saw an ad or video and commented on it out loud, it was not meant to be a hint afaik).
This is the ring. Does it seem like a safe pairing? I don't plan to make a habit of giving rings as gifts, but in this case it pairs perfectly with the hand-made part of the gift. Plus, I don't think she would expect a marriage proposal at this point. Based on the things she said, would I be safe from either weirding her out or disappointing her?
