Hello, I'm building a UI system for my game, but I encountered this problem.
To make it simple: ▪︎ ESC pressed -> Pause menu opens ▪︎ ESC or "Resume" button pressed -> Close menu
I'm using a flip flop for that and it works great.
Now: ▪︎ Press ESC -> Pause menu opens ▪︎ Press "Options" -> Pause menu closes, Settings opens ▪︎ Press ESC again -> Settings menu closes and "Open Pause menu" event is triggered
THE PROBLEM IS: While Settings is opened, the game is not listening for "Open Pause menu" event, so the Settings menu is closed but the Pause menu is not respawned and doesn't work anymore because actually the game remains in a paused status forever.
What could cause the custom event through two different blueprints not to be triggered? Is there a simpler workaround to implement this feature? Maybe in the same blueprint to prevent input conflicts...

Did World War 1 vehicles have alarms like in-game? When you sustain a lot of damage in a tank/plane/truck and an audible alarm goes off to warn you you’re close to blowing up. Did technology exist back then to have audible damage alarms? Or is that added for video game purposes.

Hello everyone! I’m Emma (she/her) and me and our group (all of us are around 25 y/o) are looking for another player to join our ongoing Dungeons of Drakkenheim game. You’ll be the fourth player in a group that really enjoys roleplay and a DM who will help you bring your character to life - this will be facilitated by a personal quest, which will tie you directly to the world. This campaign strives to be a balance between roleplay, combat and exploration, sometimes skewed to one of the three pillars more depending on what’s currently going on. Your characters and choices matter and will eventually decide the fate of Drakkenheim itself.
Currently, we've got:

• a Scribes Wizard looking to put his brother on the throne,
  
  • an Old Gods Barbarian plagued by visions of the meteor and the crater, and

-a Glory Paladin looking to give missing family members a proper burial outside of the city.
We play on Wednesdays at 20:00 CEST for three hours (with a small break in the middle somewhere).
We’re playing in Roll20. You just need to have a decent mic and a discord account (voice only, no video required). You create your character at level 3, and the module is set to go all the way to level 2. You generate stats with point buy and can either choose a personal quest from a list or work with me to create a custom one. All official classes and subclasses are allowed, as well as material from Sebastian Crowe’s Guide to Drakkenheim. You’ll be given plenty of time to create your character; I wouldn’t want you to rush the process!
THE WORLD
The world of Drakkenheim, in the fifteen years since the meteor fell, has known civil war and unrest. All the while, the city is covered in the Haze, contaminated mists that hide and empower the horrors that wander the ruined streets. It also harbors delerium, strange crystal chips and fragments that are well-sought after by mages and scoundrels alike for their magical properties and high market value. But be warned: not just anyone would dare to face the city. What brings your character there? Whatever it is, it is something they fiercely believe in, something that will drive them to return to the city every single morning and that will face the risks. Not just death awaits within the city; the chance of a horrible death pales in comparison to the monstrous transformation you may undergo once the contamination seeps into your bones.

I female age 15 was living in a camper in Rhode Island with my mom age 31 and my dad age 33 along with 2 siblings my mom got into a car crash which gave her a concussion so I had to take care of my family and was like a house wife every time I got off from school my dad didn't help unless it involved my siblings with his game console or with nothing other than steal my mom's stuff to go through it to make sure she didnt catch him cheating on her which she did but I hid it all which he had a suspicion of but my mom was acting like a child at the time I wasn't focused on the remarks my dad would make when i was In shorts about how my butt looked like mom's but bigger and how I was better than her while my mom was getting better my was about to be 15 but I notice while my dad made dirty remarks he was reading a online book and I caught him multiple times in my parents bedroom alone rocking his stick and why I mentioned this is because that book he was reading was my whole bathroom situation but with Mafia people in his book while reading my mom was mostly recovered by the week before my birthday and my dad gas lighted her that I did nothing while he did everything and my mom believed him for 2 days before he tattled on himself about looking through her phone and finding evidence of him cheating which make them fight and argue which they were doing before the crash during the week before my birthday I got a road rash which will be a scar for ever a reminder of how my dad was able to look at me in the camper the shower doors were made of glass and if the temperature was lukewarm then you could see everything on the other side I turned 15 on the day of my road rash I got into the shower around 8:00 p.m. while washing my wound my father went in there and didn't say a word and just started brushing his teeth and looking towards the mirror which at the time was not looking my way I was okay with it at first cuz I thought it would just be for that day but the next 3 weeks it went to a transition of him looking at the mirror then to him leaving the bathroom door open lean on the wall towards the shower staring while playing toxic masculinity podcast of how women and Young women should do what men tell them and I wasn't on social media a lot so I didn't know what "alpha" male ment but women would refer them as that or they would refer them selfs as that but then to every couple of days during those three weeks was like him pushing boundary after boundary to the point where I can't handle it cuz he tried to touch the doorknob to open the glass doors I told him that I wasn't comfortable two times along with my younger siblings telling him to get out because they saw him in there because the door was open which he told them that it was okay and that he was my dad and everybody deserve to be in there it was him during the third day of the first week of this happening I wanted to prove to myself that my father wasn't like his stepfather which was a S A @bus€r of mine when I was 4 through 6 and because I thought it was because of my schedule of me getting in the shower late so I changed my schedule throughout the last 2 weeks while he was pushing boundaries I would change the times where it would inconvenience my mother during her naps or whatever she needed to do to get better cuz she had appointments or she would be like dead asleep and she would need me to watch my siblings but I was busy in the shower and they were messing with her while she had a headache and my father was complaining about the hot water for dishes and other women chores I need or my mother needed to complete but the part that makes it the most messed up is that when it was 20 minutes of me being still in the shower he would walk out and I would hurry up and get out and he would go back to his game console or smoke a cigarette and not good to bed or a couple of hours on the last day of the third week my mom asked me about it cuz she was finally starting to be aware of everything and I told her to wait and I would get in the shower as soon as I got home and he will be in there and she didn't believe me but once I got home and got in there he was in there with the door open my mom grabbed him by his shoulder and ripped him out and yelled at him and told him if he ever did that again that she would go get her shotgun cuz now she's more aware than she has ever been after the crash and he said that I was taking a shower late and then maybe I should be taking showers so late and then maybe I should be using all the hot water and that I'm his daughter he changed my diapers so if he wants to be in there he can be in there if you want the door open for some air he can have it open cuz he also pays the bills and owns everything and that I should be grateful which made my mom come up with a plan to start secretly moving after that day I called my aunt and my uncle who did not believe me and thought there was a better explanation but they did see my point of view but still thought I was being dramatic they question my father and he lied and said it was for 3 days more arguments started and one day when I had a school day off my dad as soon as he found out stayed home while my mom had to be at a appointment and thought he already left but instead he went to chill and came back to have a conversation with me and told me that I was delusional and that if I was uncomfortable I should have told him and when I told him I did and that he didn't say a word he said that he must have not heard me and once I told him that I said it loud and clear and that all you did was sigh and looked like he was about to cry and was mad he said that I'm just like my mother and that we deserve each other and then went on to if he had to have boundaries with me then I have to have boundaries with my mother and we can't get changed in front of each other because we are both bisexual and then proceeded to tell me that I don't know what's going on and then told me that I should be ashamed because I don't know how it feels to feel like a predator in your own home which left me speechless because I know what it's like to have predators around you every corner and he knows this and when I told him that he told me to grow up and that my hormones should be kicking in and I should have already forgotten about his stepfather my mom came home and my dad said he wanted a divorce and felt like I would take his side which my mom says working on it and took me for a drive and I told her all about it and then a couple of days later I woke up to my mom crying and naked because my mom had sex with my dad and when he was done and he got her done he kicked her out of the room and when she was wondering why he said she was more convenient then to go get a stranger and do it in the back of a truck my mom told me to go back to bed and I did at the time not fully knowing what was going on till that day that my mom going back on her word thinking she needed him telling me not to break up the family and that if he agrees the counseling we're staying even if I said no and don't like it which he didn't of course and also I told her that I would kill her and him and that I have thought about it and was in their room multiple times with a weapon think about killing them both because of the things they do which made my mom understand that she needed to grow up and leave him now which is sad for me to say but we finished up packing we got a U-Haul and before we left my mom thought it would be fair to him if my siblings had a board game night with him which later I left cuz I couldn't handle that my siblings get a perfect dad well I always got a cursing child beating lying disciplining me for no reason father and couldn't handle dark side of me popped out and just went to try to go grab the nearest gun to shoot him cuz my father has an eye nose twitch when he lies and he has to be active or loud when he's trying to be manipulative and at the end he thought we had a great dad and talk even though I was still crying and he was like a brick wall cuz he thought I was like my mom and I would give up my mom stopped me and told me that I shouldn't go to jail and that we are moving tomorrow she will make sure of it no more delays and no more of letting me down we move to Texas where we're originally from and while living with a relative my little siblings could talk to our father which slowly broke the relationship because he would always try to bring up me and how he wanted to talk to me which later you can't stand not talking to me that he stopped paying child support until I talk to him and in between breaking the relationship with my siblings slowly they started seeing the dad that I saw and while here with my relative my mom got some console and help cuz at the time my dad was paying for child support but there was enough to get me help which my family thinks I desperately need but when child support stopped her console stopped cuz she can't afford it then drama started happening with the relative we were with and we've been moving ever since but now my mom is on the road making a lot of money to make up for no child support until the child support office is get their affairs in order and we are living with relative to relative that will take us in and watches but my mom will be coming back soon to get a rent house so that we can finally settle down after a whole year of dealing with all this without him and I'll be 16 and I don't know how to feel cuz it marks the anniversary of a scar physical emotional and mental and still cuts deep

D) We can name our zanpakuto and choose its design BUT we dont unlock it until later- characters react if its big/small if its constant release etc.

Few of us are experimenting with various alternative SW:U rules to spice the things up. Our main reason was that playing by original rules ends the game too soon, just as the battle starts to become quite exciting.
Disclaimer. We are by no means professional deck builders, but we have some moderate experience with other TCG like Magic, Pokémon, Gwent, Snap, etc.
We are experimenting by using mostly Vanilla (out of the box) Spark of Rebellion decks, and little bit less with custom decks.

With all experiments we are only changing what is described in the experiment, everything else stay as in the original rules

Experiment 1: Base 100, Hand 8, Draw 3

This is our ongoing experiment and we already played a lot of games with it, finding it more amusing than the original game.
Modified rules:

• Base 100 heath. So every base start with health 100, base with 25 health (eg Energy Conversion Lab) are starting with 95 health.
• Hand 8 cards. Each player draws 8 cards (instead of 6), and chooses 2 cards in their hand to place facedown in front of them as “resources” (this is the same).
• Draw 3 cards. In the Regroup phase, each player draws 3 cards and may choose any 1 card from their hand and put it into play facedown as a resource

PROS:

• Battle gains momentum more quickly
• More heavy hitting cards are entering gameplay
• A lot of fun :-)

CONS:

• Takes more time
• Tracking base damage is a challenge (you need 2 x 50 points markers)
• Player can create big advantage that sometimes (but now always) can be hard to catch up

I have been playing this game for years and I am not completely against minimalistic flat design but former button placement and textured style was just effective and quick to use. Now everything placed under sub menus. And there really was no reason for that. Espacialy in the age of wide screens.
It now looks completely generic to me. And partly lessen the soul of the Euro Truck Sim. And of course American Truck Sim. Also looks like those mobile trucking and driving games.
‘Drive’ button alone had that sense of realism and presence. I hope SCS finds the middle ground. Because simulation games shouldnt be simplified.

I'm 15,000 hours deep on dayz, a lot of that on official on console, moved to PC about a year ago, proper fan boy but I struggled to find a server on PC that really gives me that dayz buzz without the cheaters of official. You know, the thing we all fell in love with dayz for, the adrenaline, that knowledge that when you're playing a server with 1 other guy on it and you're still bricking it at Tisy while you find that one magazine you need.
I wanted a server that gave me that buzz, that kept me guessing, wasn't easy, didn't give me all the guns, the food, the armour on a plate and most importantly had the longevity. Vanilla for me is just too plain now, there's nothing to do on a quiet server when its too easy to get geared.
But, I think I have found the ONE. The best Vanilla+ server I've found is DAT (Day After Tomorrow) - it's not too old so the pop is still low but for anyone who is a proper dayz fan boy but wants a little extra, it's quality, the pop doesn't matter when there is always something to keep your attention, to find, to avoid, to shoot.
I've played loads on places like spaggies, zero, basically vanilla, northmens etc etc but none of them hit that mark - either because they're too vanilla and theres no longevity, or they have things like markers, traders, easy food, too many guns, too many types of clothing, ammo, armour or in game maps that make life too easy for the autorunners or just have skyscraper bases and stuff that is just too un-dayz, for me anyway.
The best parts about DAT is the AI, the grind, the underground proper secret squirrel bases and the tiered loot system that doesn't give you everything on a plate, literally took 5 days of solid looting to find the materials to build my tier 1 base, quality stuff and I still have not seen at least 50% of the guns, armour and attachments I know exist - somewhere.
The bad points are the pop being 2/3 during the weekdays, 5/6 in evenings and 8/10 at the weekends, and there are probably a few too many POI's but other than that, it is honestly the best Vanilla plus server I have ever played, it keeps you guessing, gives you things to go 'wow' at all the time and isn't easy to get the best stuff. I'm probably 100 hours in now, in a squad of 3 and haven't seen so many items, still find stuff we didn't know existed and still amazed by the AI, the work that's gone in and the way the admins actually listen to feedback and implement.
Hoping the pop will grow, but honestly even with a few people on, the random AI encounters and the fact the EVERYONE has to keep on their toes looting to grow means interaction is never far away.
FYI, I play the server but not affiliated in any way. Just want more people to know and play on a server that is trying to fill the big void between boring vanilla and the current batch of "vanilla+" servers that just lose that Dayz feel we all fell in love with.

Our goal is to give people a reason to veer off the “usual” loot route a little. There are parts of the map that people literally have never seen because there is no reason to go there!

I'm looking to farm up an Ancient Relic set on Dark Isle. My current set is Empowered Perfect Light. What's a good transition set to do DI comfortably to get the stuff from DI? EOR, no custom stuff. My game knowledge has lapsed. Character is spec summons for primary offense, and is otherwise mostly defensive at the moment.

I'm 15,000 hours deep on dayz, a lot of that on official on console, moved to PC about a year ago, proper fan boy but I struggled to find a server on PC that really gives me that dayz buzz without the cheaters of official. You know, the thing we all fell in love with dayz for, the adrenaline, that knowledge that when you're playing a server with 1 other guy on it and you're still bricking it at Tisy while you find that one magazine you need.
I wanted a server that gave me that buzz, that kept me guessing, wasn't easy, didn't give me all the guns, the food, the armour on a plate and most importantly had the longevity. Vanilla for me is just too plain now, there's nothing to do on a quiet server when its too easy to get geared.
But, I think I have found the ONE. The best Vanilla+ server I've found is DAT (Day After Tomorrow) - it's not too old so the pop is still low but for anyone who is a proper dayz fan boy but wants a little extra, it's quality, the pop doesn't matter when there is always something to keep your attention, to find, to avoid, to shoot.
I've played loads on places like spaggies, zero, basically vanilla, northmens etc etc but none of them hit that mark - either because they're too vanilla and theres no longevity, or they have things like markers, traders, easy food, too many guns, too many types of clothing, ammo, armour or in game maps that make life too easy for the autorunners or just have skyscraper bases and stuff that is just too un-dayz, for me anyway.
The best parts about DAT is the AI, the grind, the underground proper secret squirrel bases and the tiered loot system that doesn't give you everything on a plate, literally took 5 days of solid looting to find the materials to build my tier 1 base, quality stuff and I still have not seen at least 50% of the guns, armour and attachments I know exist - somewhere.

In The Skywalker Saga:
This came to me because I like playing as Mando during galaxy exploration for 100% but I can't help but feel the bounty hunter class is a lil.. disappointing?
With the Character Customizer being a dead mod, I would love to figure out modding this game so I could maybe give mando a few more skills/jetpack/darksaber (maybe use moffs skill set) honestly If I could just replace bounty hunter energy bombs with some that blow up silver crates would make bounty hunters worth it .
Hell if there was just a way I could add skills to a character I totally would.
