When I was a child, no older than 7; I would see a pannel appear in front of me at random occasions 3 times. This would be a black pannel with circural moving lights moving counter clockwise. There would be green lights flashing on the top and bottom of the pannel and in the bottom corners there would be two little screens. They would flash one and off with static between skulls that would stare at me and the smiling faces of Robert Reed and Florence Henderson from the Brady Bunch. They wouldn't do anything but sit there and stare like they did on the 3 by 3 grid in the intro. But this was different. Instead of the calm happy smile, they would have this sinister evil grin and when the static changed their face to a skull you could tell the skull was theirs. I would hear voices. It was a female voice echoing over what sounded like an intercom. She would repeat "This is the end, the world is spinning." Every time the lights made a full rotation I would hear a beap that sounded like a radar. The scariest part of all of this was not the pannel, not the Brady Bunch, not the voices, but the spinning. Everything in front of me would start spinning in the same direction as the lights moved. Nothing shook or fell. Even when sitting down in this phenomenon I would stay glued to the floor or my bed when I would go upside down.
The three memories came in my room, my parents room, and my pre-school classroom. Every once in a while it would appear to spawn in front of me when I was in a room where I could read what was on the wall in front of me. Lets say 20 feet. The vision haunted me for years on end. I was in and out of therapy and the doctors thought I was showing premature signs of schizophrenia. I was driving home on I4 at about 2:04 in the morning; just like I do every night; when I felt my eyes getting tired so I pulled over to take a power nap. I set an alarm on my phone to wake me up. By the time I woke up; I4 seemed to be abandoned which was very uncommon. I didn't think anything of it though. Then I saw flashing lights behind me of a police car. Probably just an officer making sure I was okay. As he approached my window as I rolled it down, he didn't say "Are you okay sir" or anything I thought a cop would usually say. Instead he slightly leaned through my window to point at my winshield. "What is that?" I turned to look at where he was pointing. All of a sudden, the black pannel in front of me. The lights flashing and appearing like they were moving in a counterclockwise motion. Robert Reed and the now deceased Florence Henderson with the evil grin. Worst of all, I was spinning parallel to the lights giving the illusion of moving in a circular motion in the center of the pannel. But just like the other 3 times it eventually stopped. I looked to me left to see no cop, no car, and nobody on I4. I just started driving back on my route home.
I haven't told anybody about this vision. I do not know the purpose behind it but I know one thing. I was not a crazy kid making something up. I was spinning. The voices were real. And I was gaslit by "professionals" to thinking I was seeing something. Though what I was seeing was real.

A while back, I wrote a post about abusers in therapy. I put that out there because a lot of people ask will therapy or anger management help my abuser. It’s a well established fact that it won’t and also will backfire.
There’s another thing that keeps coming up that we need to talk about: the five love languages.
Just to get it out of the way, I read up briefly on the five love languages. I personally think it’s pseudoscience. The person who wrote it had no qualifications or experience to be writing any theories on how humans or relationships work. That is my opinion.
Something I keep seeing on here far too often is a girl is being abused and wondering if the cause of her problem is a mismatch in love language. It makes me sad to see others say things like:
“He keeps grabbing me and groping me after I asked him to stop/told him I don’t like it/hurts/makes me feel violated. But he said touch is his love language. Is it a love language mismatch?”
“He makes me spend egregious amounts of money on him even after I’ve told him I don’t have the money/it’s putting me into bankruptcy. But he says gift giving is his love language. Is it a love language mismatch?”
“He wants me to say nice things to him/not call him out on his bull. But he said words of affirmation is his love language. Is it a love language mismatch?”
“He wants me to spend every second of my life with him to the point that I have no time for anything or anyone else. Is it a love language mismatch?”
“I work more than he does, yet he won’t lift a finger for household chores/childcare. But he says acts of service is his love language. Is it a love language mismatch?”
I stated in my post about abusers in therapy that abusers who go to therapy will become fluent in ‘therapy talk’ and weaponize it against their victim. They’ll use therapy talk to legitimize their point of view and behaviors, and invalidate yours.
If therapy is subject to this diatribe, then concepts like the love languages aren’t exempt either. It would appear abusers are now weaponizing the love languages to justify their behavior and invalidate and discredit their partner’s reasonable objection to their diatribe.
If your partner is violating your boundaries, that’s abuse. Full stop. If you think they don’t know what they’re doing, they know. If you’re wondering why you keep telling them what they’re doing hurts or bothers you yet they keep doing it; it’s because they KNOW it hurts or bothers you.
Abuse of any kind IS NOT a love language. Boundary violation IS NOT a love language. FULL STOP.

For a long time now I have wanted to create a model capable of playing a game. It was one of those projects that seemed the kind of fun that got me interested in programming in the first place. The problem was that despite there being several tutorials on how to go about doing this, all of them relied upon deprecated python libraries such as gym. Upgrading the environments to gymnasium, the format currently maintained, seemed a daunting task that made me think twice before I started.
Then when GPT4o came out, and was capable of handling conversations in a way that would allow me to debug my issues upgrading in a natural style, I decided I would give it a go. Using the old Mario api as a base, I employed GPT4o to help me design the structure of my model. Having completed that, I then employed GPT4o to help me create custom wrappers that built upon those layers to upgrade the output format from the style used in the gym library to the one in gymnasium.
As I worked my way through the layers, I encountered numerous errors and flaws with how the code handled unexpected inputs, but with the help of GPT4o I was able to quickly resolve these errors, and in a short time I had succeeded in building a set of custom wrappers which correctly passed the input from layer to layer in the upgraded format and was able to begin training my deep learning model to play Mario. After 1,000,000 steps in the game, my model had gotten to the point where it was able to get halfway through the first level of Super Mario Bros, and with more training and time or perhaps utilizing a less detailed game window the model would become capable of completing the entire first level.

IDEA :
Every 6 months, MEGA fans would be able to vote for one set to have a complete reprint. These sets would be sold along MEGA's online partners and MATTEL creations.Every 12 months, MEGA fans would be able to vote for two HH wave, BB, or Figureset ( think Apex 7, Faithful vs. Fallen, or the anniversary packs ) to be reprinted.
In total, 4 items will be reprinted each year.
REASONABLE REQUIREMENTS :
Each item would have to meet the following requirements :- All molds must still be usable ( sorry to any set that uses the old sentinel beam ).
- No exclusivity that would violate agreements made with other retailers.
- Separate votes, separate items.
- Sets cannot be already available for MSRP on major online storefronts (EE, Amazon, MATTEL Creations).
- To give MEGA time, each reprint would ship about a year and a half after the vote. Maybe old molds are hard to find or logistics need to be cranked out.
- Sets voted in will be eliminated from future votes for 3 years, before being put back to the cycle.
WHY? :
- As a vote, only desirable sets will be reissued. This will guarantee sales from MEGA's fans and also return money spent on the secondary market back to MEGA.- Reduces the "investor" market to ash. Even if sets don't actually get reprinted, the idea that they can, will kill the confidence of scalpers and also decrease prices on the secondary market.
- Minimal R&D on MEGA's part. These sets and molds are already made and have already sold out in the past. MEGA has all the information they need to know if a set will perform well or not.
- Revive brand trust. This idea, if implemented, would be very consumer friendly and engage a fanbase who's been deprived of sets for so long. Not to mention that a fanvote will revive community discussion ( free advertising ) like never before.
- Accessibility. Many customers are frustrated that they can't get the sets they want ( Falcon Sweep ) and many are quitting the hobby. The products are not bad -- they're great --, but collecting is made hard because of distribution. A direct-to-consumer model will literally solve MEGA's problems.

Why is this? Are critics mostly shills? Is it suffering from review bombing? Is this just an artefact of RT's algorithm, where anything above 3/5 is considered "fresh," meaning a bunch of mediocre-to-good reviews can result in a high score if few critics outright diss it? I did a deep dive to try to figure out what's going on. Full disclosure: I watched the first two eps, thought they were pretty good, but nothing special yet. I'm cautiously optimistic for the rest of the season. I don't have any agenda here, other than trying to better understand these numbers. Critic Reviews I extracted all the numbers I could find on the RT reviews (all the reviews in the form of 4/5 or 6/10, etc). Was able to get numbers for 45 reviews out of a total of 108 on RT. The average works out to be 67%. I'd therefore argue that the true critic score should be 67% if RT's scoring system made more sense, but it is what it is. Interesting to note that there seems to be a slight bimodal distribution in the reviews. The first 29 reviews average 74%, and the later 16 reviews average only 54%. Why is this? I suspect it's because the early batch of reviewers had access to the first four episodes, while the later ones have only seen the first two episodes, like the rest of us. This implies that the series gets better over the next two episodes. Audience Reviews I pulled similar numbers for the audience reviews. There are a LOT of audience reviews, so I only went with the first 45 listed on RT to keep the sample size same as the critic scores. Using just this limited sample, the average works out to 63%, far higher than the 26% listed across all audience reviews. 27 of these reviews are 3/5 or higher (indicating "fresh"), meaning RT's scoring method would give it a 60%. Out of those reviews, seven of them were half star reviews, and 16 of them were 5 star reviews, which the rest being pretty uniformly distributed between those extremes. Taking a quick skim through the rest of the reviews, it seems these numbers are pretty consistent. Why such a huge discrepancy between the 63% in audience review average, vs. the 26% RT audience score? I'm guessing it's because for those that actually bothered to write a review, they were more generous to the show. I'm guessing there's a huge pile of half star ratings without reviews bringing this number down, numbers that I can't find since RT only shows them when accompanied by written out reviews. These would be the review bombers. Conclusion If we ignore RT's algorithms and only look at the average of critic reviews, we get a score of 67%. If we look at the average of audience scores that actually have written out reviews, we get 63%. So the critic vs audience scores, in this analysis, would actually match pretty well. The discrepancy we're seeing has a lot more to do with review bombing and RT's weird algorithm. |

i've been with my girlfriend for about 3 months officially (8 if you count the 5 months of ridiculous pining that included a short stint of "dating" and where we were "basically a couple", her words not mine) and i'm not sure how to get over the fact that i think i'm not pretty enough for her
she's absolutely gorgeous. jaw-droppingly gorgeous. i've told her as much. i've never met someone who was pretty, hot, and cute all at the same time. she takes the compliments in stride because she gets told that often. she's very confident in herself and i love that about her
i am not. it's not that i've been called ugly, just that people other than my immediate family don't tend to call me that. i can tolerate my face but i avoid pictures like the plague because looking at my body, especially in photos, in any capacity makes me uncomfortable. when we have sex, i always take the lead to avoid being touched. she knows this and never makes me feel bad about it. i've actually stopped sex because i couldn't stand looking at my own body
my girlfriend is amazing and will compliment me unprovoked, although rarely because i'm uncomfortable with compliments and i honestly don't believe her, which is ridiculous - she always happily announces me as her girlfriend at any opportunity. she's never embarrassed to show her friends at home what i look like, she's never made me feel ugly, she's the one that initiated the relationship in the first place so questioning if she's attracted to me SHOULD be out of the question but that doesn't help
i didn't start having body dysmorphia this bad until about a year ago and i just don't know what to do. i feel gross all the time. she's never made me feel bad for bringing up similar insecurities (she has body issues of her own) but it feels like a failure on my part. it should be easy to talk about with her, she is my best friend. we're long distance until uni starts again in August and we're both busy until Sunday, i'm just struggling on how to bring it up without sounding like i'm fishing for something (i already don't enjoy compliments that much - i can imagine how it would sound to be upset about not GETTING compliments)
the fact that i am self-aware of the ridiculousness of my feelings makes it worse. any help would be appreciated. i'm about to be 19

My 'boss' is out this week. I have been second in command, but this week am in charge, so to speak. So I have been super busy not only cause it is the busiest week for my department but also doing his job and dealing with issues that need to be fixed so EVERYONE else can do their jobs. Except they are not grateful, are lazy as fuck, and just generally selfish, self-absorbed pieces of shit. They are the only ones who exist in their universe and everyone else is either an obstacle or is only important when they're doing something for them.
I am just feeling very discouraged even though I handled everything really well, especially some bigger issues that came up early in the week that I have never even touched before. No one says thank you, have a good weekend, fuck you, nothing. They just move on with their own stupid lives. And the best part is 90% of them do little to nothing on a daily basis and have the nerve to undermine me. This week has really made me realize no one gives a shit about how helpful and fast I am to respond/assist. So from now on, they can all suck my dick and wait their turns. No more help from me.

I started eating more junk once I had more freedom as a freshly new adult, which made me gain 4 pounds. This was a year ago. I’ve since started watching my portions. I still eat out frequently but I watch my meal sizes and drink water. I definitely feel better and have been trying to lower calorie intake, but I’m still gaining weight? I weigh myself weekly or so, and the scale went from 121 to 126. I don’t know if I’m just extremely bloated but this feels near impossible. While I’ve been eating a little more, I don’t eat nearly enough to gain 5 pounds in 7 days
I’ve also been so much hungrier than normal, I never ate breakfast in my entire life, would have my first meal at 1-2pm. But now I’m just always hungry and I went from having an extremely low appetite (usually consisting of a large fast food meal once a day in the afternoon) to being always hungry and needing food in my system much more.
I’ve also gotten taller. I can see this because I wear leg braces (cerebral palsy) and they’re getting rapidly short on me. I’ve grown an inch or so. My boobs have also gotten bigger, and I have acne on my face which the last time I had I was 13.
Is this normal? What’s going on with my body?

First of all, I had no idea I would get this engrossed for a dating show. The show started wholesome and it was what drawn me. Who knew 12 weeks later I would have feel this stress over a dating show. Fr.
What boils me the most is the wholesome narrative of this MSR was ruined by YW! He really was the worst choice to put in this show. Even during truth game, you see the siblings being protective over each other which is so great.. then you see YW being the worst sibling there. PD nim really did a wrong move putting him on this show.
Ok back to EP15… first of all kudos to YJ cause I think he was the MVP of the ep. Firstly his date with CA eventho no spark but I’m really happy he gives CA the sense of healing and comfort. Also that’s a man right there being straightforward about him and YH rs super cool ngl. Most importantly the whole time he was there for JW during the truth game seeing how stressed out she was. Definitely a brother character development and i’m loving it.
Next, JS and SS… seriously my heart breaks for them. Their narrative is so realistic that it hits me. SS and JH has the best dynamics when it comes to getting insights. And SS has every right to feeling all the negative emotions for YW because first of all bro gave her confusing thoughts only for her to find out he was using her for to get her brother’s intel! But seriously this Park siblings catch on so quickly and it’s really great to see. The advice they give each other, you know they will always be there to protect each other’s heart. It’s one of the reason why I’m still watching MSR. They still remind me of the wholesome narrative this show started with. SS really really acted well and not causing more unnecessary drama. She’s the real one tbh! As for JH I really hope he finds the right person for him and has happiness by his side always.

What boils me the most is the wholesome narrative of this MSR was ruined by YW! He really was the worst choice to put in this show. Even during truth game, you see the siblings being protective over each other which is so great.. then you see YW being the worst sibling there. PD nim really did a wrong move putting him on this show.
Ok back to EP15… first of all kudos to YJ cause I think he was the MVP of the ep. Firstly his date with CA eventho no spark but I’m really happy he gives CA the sense of healing and comfort. Also that’s a man right there being straightforward about him and YH rs super cool ngl. Most importantly the whole time he was there for JW during the truth game seeing how stressed out she was. Definitely a brother character development and i’m loving it.

Before I start, I would like to say that I think Automatons and Terminids are both are fun to play, and while this may be a hot take- both sides are fairly balanced in the game’s current state outside of the unintentional glitches, patrol rates, etc. All the of the information I talk about below is of course just my opinion, but also looked at purely from the Helldive (D9) difficulty perspective. TL:DR is at the bottom.
To start, let's look at the Terminids. The Terminids kinda give off a BO1 Zombies feel for me. Shoot them at distance, use your full arsenal to keep the bigger bugs at bay, and take a 5 second retreat if they get up in your face. Rinse and repeat. Boiled down, they are drones that will path the closest available route to your location, and only 2 enemy types, Bile Titans, and Bile Spewers, out of the 9 total have true range capability. Even then, their range is limited at around 20 meters. The Terminids most dangerous aspect is their numbers. A single bug breach can produce upwards of 50+ Terminids of varying types. The horde can and will entrap you if you don't maintain area denial. Outside of the battlefield, the only means they have to annoy the Helldivers is the Atmospheric Spores, but if you're a casual diver who just likes getting the main objectives done and don't want/need to complete every side objective, this causes very little trouble.
Now, the Automatons. Before you even hit the ground you can be at a disadvantage, if the AA Defenses modifier is applied to your mission, you lose a stratagem slot, which depending on the mission/situation, you may desperately need. On the battlefield 3/19 (variants included) of the enemy types have primary melee weapons while those same 3 also have ranged damage. Engaging them requires the Helldivers to more carefully pick their fights, every bad decision can easily lead to your demise. Do you have your support weapon? Are your stratagems available? Will a wandering patrol hear the firefight and engage you from a flank? There are many more variables to consider. Is that Cannon Tower turning towards me? Do those Scout Striders have an angle on me? They have area denial defenses; having your Eagle strike temporarily disabled by the Anti-Air emplacements, being actively bombed from their Mortar Emplacements, or the possibility of being spotted by the Detector Tower that, if alerted, will constantly supply the Automatons your exact location until destroyed. Assaulting a fabricator outpost? Hope you took out most of the manned machine gun nests that will shred you to pieces if it makes contact. The Factory Striders are a whole beast themselves. The periodic fabrication of Devastators, the cannon turret mounted up top for area denial, or the machine guns mounted to the front. Pick your poison when engaging these hulking steel monstrosities, and I didn't even mention how much ordinance can be dropped on them and they'll still be standing! Gunships provide more than subtle air support, peppering you with their miniguns, or blowing the Helldivers up with their rocket barrages. You cannot run and gun against the Automatons, you will not make it back to your Super Destroyer if you do.
You fight the horde against the Terminids, you fight a WAR with the Automatons. Both factions employ two vastly different playstyles that not everyone has figured out yet. And that doesn't mean it's just a "skill issue" because it's not one. I'd put money on that majority of Helldivers began their career on the Terminid front, and maybe they just stuck with it. Maybe the run and gun playstyle is just more appealing rather than the tactical, decision-making approach. Maybe they on god just wanna roleplay Starship Troopers and kill the Arachnids on Erata Prime. Either way, it doesn't just come down to "game bad" or "Bot hard" or "Bugs more fun :)" Just like the game itself, there are many variables to consider, and by no means do I have the lone and perfect solution. I do think something needs to change so that we have our forces where we need them to be, whether it be fighting bots or bugs, but during that process we CANNOT forget that we are all fighting in the name of Democracy and Liberty. After all, this is our very way of life.
If you read this far, I thank you, I really would love to see the community be able to come together again like in the first few weeks at launch when we all waged war against Super Earth's enemies. And you pondering upon the solution gives me hope that we can make it work somehow. I'll be trying to reply to comments when I can.

Hi! I’m 19, always been a short small girl. I’m 5’1.
I started eating more junk once I had more freedom as a freshly new adult, which made me gain 4 pounds. This was a year ago. I’ve since started watching my portions. I still eat out frequently but I watch my meal sizes and drink water. I definitely feel better and have been trying to lower calorie intake, but I’m still gaining weight?
I’ve also been so much hungrier than normal, I never ate breakfast in my entire life, would have my first meal at 1-2pm. But now I’m just always hungry and I went from having an extremely low appetite (usually consisting of a large fast food meal once a day in the afternoon) to being always hungry and needing food in my system much more.
I’ve also gotten taller. I can see this because I wear leg braces (cerebral palsy) and they’re getting rapidly short on me. I’ve grown an inch or so. My boobs have also gotten bigger, and I have acne on my face which the last time I had I was 13.
Is this normal? What’s going on with my body?

Alright so this is my little rewrite of Manjoume/Chazz (I’ll refer to him as Chazz, as I prefer that version of him).
So I watched Cvits GX video, and I liked his idea of Chazz. But I’ll tweak it a little bit.
So basically this is how I would rewrite Chazz, right before his duel with Daichi/Bastion he gets a large headache and he hears a roar. It gets louder when he throws away Bastion’s deck and so he doesn’t throw it away. And so I think that Chazz would Actually win. And Bastion being the nice person he is would say something like “Good Duel Chazz, that was very impressive” and Chazz with his headache would just take the compliment and say something like “Huh, oh yeah Good Duel mid rate”.
After this Jaden would smile and want to duel Chazz again, but something in Chazz told him not to. The season goes on as Normal for a bit until Chazz and some random Ra Yellow student get into an argument where the Ra Yellow student would say something along the lines of “Just leave here you spoiled brat, no one even likes you”.
Chazz would look around and see people agreeing with him and promptly leave making a comment about how he was better than them.
Chazz wouldn’t just stumble onto North Academy, but instead seek it out. And Chazz’s head would start to hurt again. Instead of Obama Yellow, Chazz would instead find one of his Aces from the manga Dark End Dragon (It’s not a synchro in the manga)
Continue the series as Usual until the rematch with Judai/Jaden, Chazz would win. Sort of Easily in fact, and then Chazz would get an ego boost and leave back with North Academy. Yep, Chazz doesn’t come back to Duel Academy or at least not yet.
Chazz would go with Slade and Jagger to Duel Academy, and when they find out Chazz is in North Academy they would berate him. However in this timeline Chazz would retaliate against them, and Kaiba would tell Chazz to duel them if he’s a real duelist and Chazz would accept. Before the duel Chazz would get headaches and his Dark End Dragon would speak to him, and tell him to find its counterpart.
Chazz would go out and Slade would say that dumb bullshit ATK point rule, and Chazz would simply Ignore him and say “And why should I listen to you, We’re not Family. I’m the Chazz, Chazz Thunder”
This comes from Manjoume Thunder, his title in the Japanese version.
Chazz would go to the well of lost cards and Jaden would follow him, Chazz would find Light End Dragon and Adjust his deck a lot. Chazz would be a lot like Jack/Jakku and Kite/Kaito. They (Mostly Jack) primarily play decks that focus mostly on getting their Aces out fast.
Chazz would use an original deck I made of low level Beast Warrior monsters (The beast from his Ojama deck and the Warrior from his Chthonian deck) basically they would focus on two spell cards that give them 0 ATK and DEF but would change their level and a spell that would allow you to banish them to special summon a LIGHT type or DARK type monster that shares the same level from the hand.
The deck would’ve been thrown out by an old friend of Chazz’s who threw them out because he didn’t like low ATK point monsters and would show Chazz how much he grew from the start.
Chazz would win the duel against Slade and Jagger and feel on top of the world and once again attempt eturn to North Academy, however Chancellor Sheppard would tell Chazz about the Shadow Riders/Seven Stars. And Chazz would temporarily stay at Duel Academy as a Slifer.
Chazz would win against the dark scorpions and they would be purified, and change into a new archetype that searches specifically for his Dark End and Light End dragons.

After the monastery I decided to become Orthodox.Vladyka Mark told us about Orthodox parishes in Germany of different jurisdictions - Serbian, Romanian, Greek - and advised us to go to their services and choose one that would be to our liking, but did not force us to go to Russian parishes abroad. However, my mother and I decided to go where God had originally led us. In Berlin, we began to go every Sunday to a small church that was located in an ordinary apartment. There was not even a regular choir. We immediately took everything seriously and it was already clear to us that we would not only pray, but also help at the parish. The parish was Russian-speaking, and at first we did not understand anything, everything was difficult for us. We immediately began to learn Russian, and a parishioner helped us with Russian and Church Slavonic so that we could read on the choir. We learned singing, we learned the Typikon, and I also served in the altar, and then I began to sing on the choir. We understood that Orthodoxy can be learned through living tradition, not only through books. Already after entering the monastery, I thanked God for bringing me to Orthodoxy, to which I decided to devote my life, because at that time nothing in the world attracted me.

And so I went to the monastery in the car on my knees with the icon. Six hundred kilometers of the way, about 8 hours we drove. Then I realized that it was the Most Holy Mother of God who brought me to the monastery. The next day I was sent to obedience in the candle workshop. There on the wall I also saw the Kursk-Korena icon. And years later, during the festive liturgy on the day of commemoration of the icon “The Sign”, when the icon itself was in the church, I was elevated to the episcopal dignity in Her house, in the Cathedral of the Sign in New York.
In connection with my studies, I was a novice and then a monk for quite a long time. I was tonsured into monasticism in 2006 with the name Joseph in honor of Joseph the Betrothed, and ten years later I was tonsured into monasticism with the name Job in honor of St. Job of Pochaev. In the same year I was ordained a deacon, and almost two years later I became a hieromonk.
We distribute our books at parishes in Germany, and in recent years through an online store, almost half of whose catalog is taken up by our books. Unfortunately, it is not a monastery store, because we don't even have a separate room for a bookstore. In fact, the monastery has long since become small for our needs..... I think my brethren will agree that the most difficult thing is to get up early in the morning. But it is not difficult at all for Vladyka Mark, our most faithful monk. Vladyka Mark used to be able to return from a trip at 1:00 a.m. and at 4:00 a.m. he was already serving. This is a role model for me. Asceticism helps in the kind of monastic life that Vladyka Mark has chosen for himself. He has practically no hobbies other than translations. He mainly translates the works of his spiritual father, St. Justin (Popovich), from Serbian into Russian and German at the same time. We have already published his translations.

We found a place that is perfect for a monastery. This is Seifriedsberg CastleAnd finally we found a place that is perfect for a monastery because it is located in a secluded place and surrounded by nature. This is Seifridsberg Castle. Now we have to buy it. And then it will be monastery property. The first mention of the castle dates back to 1251. It was built by Bishop Siegfried III, Count von Rehberg. The castle consists of a three-storey main building and a side wing. The main building and the entrance are connected by a wall with a tiled roof, forming an enclosed courtyard. In 1851, a forest park was laid out in front of the palace, in which shrubs and trees from all over the world were planted, including a ginkgo tree known for its healing properties, sequoias, rhododendron bushes, which are now more than 100 years old and are a natural wonder when they bloom in May and June. Seifridsberg Castle The castle is conveniently located an hour's drive from Munich, and the number of brethren will hopefully increase. We will finally be able to build a real church instead of a house church, a monastic building for the brethren, a hotel for pilgrims, additional workshops, and further development of our production. We also plan to place there a diocesan center, a center for youth missionary work, an educational center for courses for clergy. Both financially and in terms of the sheer size of the area and what needs to be done, neither our monastery nor our diocese has ever undertaken such a large project before. The Russian Church Abroad is not a wealthy church at all, and we continue to bargain with the owners of the castle and the grounds. We have also established a fund through which we intend to raise money for the purchase and renovation, which will be expensive. To carry it out we will need volunteers in addition to specialists.

During my studies, I realized that while the Old Testament is present on this subject and even attempts to give answers, it does not solve the problem as a whole. But in the holy fathers and in Christian literature this subject is not so much covered. This means that the problem is solved through the New Testament, through Christ. I think that the strongest answer that God has given us is Christ. He not only suffered, but overcame both suffering and death. Hello everyone, I’m a longtime lurker of this subreddit. In all likelihood you’ve seen my posts or my comments about the relationship I got out of fifteen years ago.
A while back, I wrote a post about abusers in therapy. I put that out there because a lot of people ask will therapy or anger management help my abuser. It’s a well established fact that it won’t and also will backfire.
There’s another thing that keeps coming up that we need to talk about: the five love languages.
Just to get it out of the way, I read up briefly on the five love languages. I personally think it’s pseudoscience. The person who wrote it had no qualifications or experience to be writing any theories on how humans or relationships work. That is my opinion.
Something I keep seeing on here far too often is a girl is being abused and wondering if the cause of her problem is a mismatch in love language. It makes me sad to see others say things like:
“He keeps grabbing me and groping me after I asked him to stop/told him I don’t like it/hurts/makes me feel violated. But he said touch is his love language. Is it a love language mismatch?”
“He makes me spend egregious amounts of money on him even after I’ve told him I don’t have the money/it’s putting me into bankruptcy. But he says gift giving is his love language. Is it a love language mismatch?”
“He wants me to say nice things to him/not call him out on his bull. But he said words of affirmation is his love language. Is it a love language mismatch?”
“He wants me to spend every second of my life with him to the point that I have no time for anything or anyone else. Is it a love language mismatch?”
“I work more than he does, yet he won’t lift a finger for household chores/childcare. But he says acts of service is his love language. Is it a love language mismatch?”
I stated in my post about abusers in therapy that abusers who go to therapy will become fluent in ‘therapy talk’ and weaponize it against their victim. They’ll use therapy talk to legitimize their point of view and behaviors, and invalidate yours.
If therapy is subject to this diatribe, then concepts like the love languages aren’t exempt either. It would appear abusers are now weaponizing the love languages to justify their behavior and invalidate and discredit their partner’s reasonable objection to their diatribe.
If your partner is violating your boundaries, that’s abuse. Full stop. If you think they don’t know what they’re doing, they know. If you’re wondering why you keep telling them what they’re doing hurts or bothers you yet they keep doing it; it’s because they KNOW it hurts or bothers you.
Abuse of any kind IS NOT a love language. Boundary violation IS NOT a love language. FULL STOP.

As a guy on the dating apps, it becomes a bit of a slog when your feeling low and lonely and your self worth isn’t high at all, because it feels so long since someone valued you, but as long as your profile is alright, there’s some playfulness to your prompts, the experience can actually all turn around in quite a short period of time. A (29F) lady I liked messaged me (34M) the other night and we had a long chat, then met up the next day and again a few days later. Now, for some that’s probably standard, but for me it’s unusual. I never got the hang of online dating. I always got disheartened previously to the point I wouldn’t bother. And I don’t know why I’m so happy because this recent thing actually didn’t work out, we’ve both decided today not to peruse it.
On the second date we went to a trashy club and danced together and she was all over me, and then suddenly she went dark and cold with me at the end of the night. Started telling me I was being weird but gave me no reasons how other that because I backed away when she made that accusation. Truth is I think she changed her mind and rather than do the emotional labour of being honest and communicating that, she attempted to gaslight me into thinking I’d done something wrong but when pressed to explain she was really clutching at straws, giving no reasons. It was strange, I’ve never seen anything like it and feel I’m best clear of it.
I suppose many people will be wondering why I’m taking such an optimistic view after having a less than perfect experience. I suppose it’s the value of knowing someone I’m really attracted to would give it a try for a couple of dates and a little intimacy? But it was exactly the pick me up I needed after feeling so low. So if you spread yourself across the apps, use your daily likes, keep trying to have fun in chatting and just like fishing- wait, eventually someone fun you’re attracted to can come along. It seems to take me SO much more time and patience than I ever assumed it would, and remaining a little bit of calloused to disappoints of conversations going cold without explanation and people messing me around a bit, and that can be done by just not having any expectations. This dating game is a difficult skill and it takes a lot of hard work to get proficient at it. So don’t beat yourself up about having no matches, or for feeling like you’re shouting into the void as people you liked disapear or don’t answer, this is all a tough, tough thing for the majority of people and your not the only one going through this. The more seeds you sow with work, be smart, get feedback, make tweaks, recognise what your after and learn from your history what you can probably get, the more chance some efforts will bare fruit. It takes effort and staying at it to get good at it. Experience is earned. I’ve been getting progressively more messages daily and I feel like this will eventually work for me and I hope it does for you all too.

I (30F) was dating (37M) for the past five months. We met on the apps. We did not define the relationship as both of us mutually agreed that we needed more time to figure it out. There was some distance between us that made it harder to consistently see each other every week. We were 1.5 hours away from each other, and both of us have full lives with work and personal stuff. We saw each other every other week or once every three weeks. When we weren't able to physically see each other, we would video called. I would say our communication was consistent as we would talk via video or phone call at least once a week if we're unable to meet. We didn't talk 24/7, but we would send memes or a message to check in daily - both of us are not big on texting.
We did have very good chemistry as whenever we hung out or talked, it would last for 2-4 hours unintended. There were times when we stayed over at each other's place overnight due to the distance. We did not have sex as both of us agreed to not going beyond the kissing and making out until after we were officially boyfriend/girlfriend.
Throughout this time, I've been pretty transparent with what I wanted. I was dating for a long-term relationship. He said he was looking for the same thing as well, but wanted to take his time with it. I was very much on the same page and wanted to go slowly and gradually build our connection. Fast forward to about two weeks ago, we hung out at his place. Afterward, I returned home and reach out to him to let him know I got back safely. Typically, he would respond back, but this time he went cold on his communication. This made me extremely anxious and I started to overthink because I wasn't sure if I did something wrong to make him go cold. It was also very unlike him. I directly reached out to him a few days later to see what was going on. He said he felt confused after I left and needed some time to think, but would get back to me over the weekend. The weekend came around, and I didn't hear anything from him. So I reached back out to him. In our conversation, he said he doesn't know what he truly wants and he wants us to be friends until he figures it out. This really upset me because the entire time, he said he wanted a relationship. We were dating and seeing each other to see if we wanted that with each other.
I shared that I felt it was unfair to have me wait until he's ready. I also told him that I felt like my time was wasted because he didn't know what he wanted. He disagreed and said he didn't think time was wasted because the past few months gave him clarity that he was not ready for a relationship and he didn't know what he wants. He shared he need me to give him more time until he gets his life together. This really stung me. I also felt blindsided.
While I would like to remain friends with him, I feel so embarrassed by the situation because it felt like he played me. The entire time, I've been pretty communicative with what I wanted and he said he wanted the same thing. Had I known that he was unsure, I would've called it off sooner. 2024.06.07 21:22 GreninjaDeter I am really bored, so, I put Pokemon Reborn characters and Pokemon Insurgence characters together to see who would become friends.
Originally I wanted to do a VS fight inbetween characters, but then I realized powerscaling sucks, and putting characters from different fangames against one another in fights might be either really one sided or boring to figure out.
So I decided to see who would become friends if the cast of Pokemon Insurgence interacted with the cast of Pokemon Reborn.
I love both of these games and I did this only because I have kept combining both of these games together in my mind ever since I've first finished Reborn, I basically love these games too much for me to ever let go of them and I will forever find ways of combining the games together whenever I can.
I also did this post just for the fun of it so please don't try to chop my head off with an axe if you dislike some of the things I said here.
Of course I'll give some much needed context and background to each character in Insurgence so you guys can understand how I thought this out.
Orion here, I would imagine would get particularly well with Anna, due to the fact they are both rather young, and both have been rather made fun of or not be taken seriously in what they see or say.
Anna with her whole...............whole character and Orion with his rock. Due to these same reasons, I'd think he'd also get along with Luna.
I'd think he'd get along well with Blake, maybe the 2 go for a smoke or 2, chill out, play some call of duty or something.
I'd also think he would get along with Laura due to both of them being rather big fans of nature.
Look, I'm one of the biggest pokemon insurgence fans, I played this game a minimum of 20 times, but this character gets 1 scene in the whole game before they die.
I would find her easily able to get along with Laura, due to both of them really matching in personalities, as well as her getting along well with Julia, Florinia, Amaria and Titania, since I do think she could REALLY get along just fine with all 4 of them.
I would also think she would get along with Adrienn due to both of them being fairy type leaders as well as.....genuinely nice people trying to do better.
I'd honestly find her being able to get along well with Evelynn due to both of them being mechanics and both of them helping terrorists :DDDD (Although ones motive was way better than the others)
Diana would most likely get along well with Shelly, due to the fact both took up pokemon studying in the future and both of them having rather shaky relationships with their Siblings.
Whilst I also see her befriending potentially Julia due to her personality wise not being too different from her dead lover.
I'd also think she might get along with Serra and Radomus....no reason it's just a gut feeling on this one.
Calreath as a personality is very joyful, very happy, i'd think he'd honestly get along well with a lot of people, I think Hardy, Julia, Terra, Lin, Blake and Cain might be some of the first characters I think off in this matter.....that would have been if he was ALIVE but woopsie daisies.
Before the story starts, Adam was forced into a corner by The second augur, Jaern and Persephone into a dream realm, made up in his sons mind to keep him locked there, after which he almost died via having a Gengar use dream eater on his child to make them forget completely about him.
I'd think Adam would get along pretty well with Amethyst, for the reason that they are both the previous strongest trainer in their region.
I would also think he would get along well with Noel and Anastasia, probably seeing a bit of his own child within them, on that note I think he would also get along well with Radomus, probably being able to share the pain he had when his whole life fell apart together with Radomus.
I'd also think he might get along well with Lin! Both of them are fans of hydreigon (He has a mega Hydreigon on him), and Adam might be a good father figure for Lin!
Alright, first things first, I find him to be likely to become really good friends with Taka, not only due to the similarities, Taka being the son of Sol and Damian the son of Audrey, but also because they would just make good friends.
Other than that, I find him likely able to befriend Lumi and Evelynn, not through any particular reason I just really think he would, and perhaps he could also befriend Amaria, I feel like he would really be able to do that.
As a person she's likely to become friends with quite a lot of the characters in reborn, Anna, Noel, Shelly, Cain, Victoria, Luna, Sera, Heather (although that is debatable), since she really is quite friendly in the game just.,...kinda pushed aside after the 6th badge.
Honestly the only person that he might get along with would be Fern, but only to annoy one another.
As a character she might get along with possibly Serra due to both of them being parents (although one better than the other)
And Amaria only and only because she is a water type specialist
But nah, I don't think anyone would be a fan of Zenith, like literally no one, this guy just sucks.
I feel like she might not be able to befriend...anyone, maybe just Sapphira because both of them are striven by the need to get back at those who hurt them, but nothing more.
He might only and only be able to get along semi well with Sigmund, maybe finding respect in his experiments....which....if you were to get along with Sigmund, there might be something wrong with you.
Someone else he might find appreciation for is Evelynn, due to the fact she created the pulse machine, and so he would probably be very interested in how the machines work and how Evelynn made them, basically a worse Florina.
As for who he would get along with, I think he might forge a friendship with Sol, Sol wanting a perfect world and him striving for perfection, it goes hand in hand.
Another one he might find enjoyment for is Lyn, not Lyn as in Lyn, but in Lyn the doll, most likely being fascinated by how she's able to win fights like that, studying her matches and seeing what he can try to do to have that synergy, that perfect team he's striving for.......when he doesn't know her matches are already decided to be won.
Nyx - She is someone that tried to bring Giratina back to power (long story short instead of Arceus creating the universe, Giratina created it, Arceus overthrow them, took their power and Giratina was seen as the devil). she might be able to befriend Lyn...or maybe not since Giratina is pretty anti Arceus.
The E4 - They have no appearences in the game nor any major personalities to speak off, they...they are nothing, really.
King Vesryn - He's one of the first ever pokemon trainers, king of the Vesryn and Aroma regions, both of which are regions from pokemon Omicron and Zeta, another game that the developer, Suzerain, worked on, and he might get along with possibly Elias.
TheSuzerain - Ok this is technically cheating, but the developer suzerain, inserted himself within Insurgence as the character Suzerain, being one of the 8 timeless, which are really strong trainers across the pokemon verse (Cynthia, Steven stone, Red, Dawn, N, Alain, King Vesryn and Suzerain), but...due to both of them being technically self inserts...I would like to think Amethyst would get along with him :DDDD

So I decided to see who would become friends if the cast of Pokemon Insurgence interacted with the cast of Pokemon Reborn.
I love both of these games and I did this only because I have kept combining both of these games together in my mind ever since I've first finished Reborn, I basically love these games too much for me to ever let go of them and I will forever find ways of combining the games together whenever I can.
I also did this post just for the fun of it so please don't try to chop my head off with an axe if you dislike some of the things I said here.
Of course I'll give some much needed context and background to each character in Insurgence so you guys can understand how I thought this out.
Orion
Orion is the first gym leader of the torren region, the fire/grass gym leader who specializes in a sun team, who was often bullied for being friends with a seemingly inanimate white rock, which later turned out to be Reshiram.Orion here, I would imagine would get particularly well with Anna, due to the fact they are both rather young, and both have been rather made fun of or not be taken seriously in what they see or say.
Anna with her whole...............whole character and Orion with his rock. Due to these same reasons, I'd think he'd also get along with Luna.
Xavier
Xavier is the second gym leader of pokemon Insurgence, a master in bug and poison types, with a mega beedrill as his ace, he doesn't really do a lot, he mostly just hangs around, and isn't really important to the plot, he is mostly just a layed back dude who loves nature and smokes marijuana, and was actually once a pokemon ranger before being a gym leader.I'd think he'd get along well with Blake, maybe the 2 go for a smoke or 2, chill out, play some call of duty or something.
I'd also think he would get along with Laura due to both of them being rather big fans of nature.
East
Uhhhhhhh, East...is a meat rider......ok East is the third gym leader in the game, and his only purpose, is to be loyal to a cult leader....and die after losing against the player character.....I'd think he'd get along well with El and that's about it.Look, I'm one of the biggest pokemon insurgence fans, I played this game a minimum of 20 times, but this character gets 1 scene in the whole game before they die.
Harmony
Harmony is the 4th gym leader of the game, a polite madam that specializes in Normal and Fairy types, in the game she appear to warn Orion before a cult tries to steal his white rock, and she herself is traumatized at seeing her father get turned into a deoxys hybrid by her previous friend who became a cult leader......Insurgence.I would find her easily able to get along with Laura, due to both of them really matching in personalities, as well as her getting along well with Julia, Florinia, Amaria and Titania, since I do think she could REALLY get along just fine with all 4 of them.
I would also think she would get along with Adrienn due to both of them being fairy type leaders as well as.....genuinely nice people trying to do better.
Anastasia
Anastasia is the 5th gym leader of the torren region, specializing in steel and electric types, she is also known to do shady deals for MONEY!!!!! Yeah she made a Zekrom armor for a cult member to make his Zekrom stronger......yeah that's something that happens.I'd honestly find her being able to get along well with Evelynn due to both of them being mechanics and both of them helping terrorists :DDDD (Although ones motive was way better than the others)
Diana
Diana is the 6th gym leader of torren, specializing in Ghost and Psychic types, being a lover to the 7th gym leader Calreath (before he dies). has a Cresselia, and is a sibling to the Cult leader Persephone, once you finish her quest in the post game, she stops being a gym leader and becomes a pokemon researcher alongside the regions professor.Diana would most likely get along well with Shelly, due to the fact both took up pokemon studying in the future and both of them having rather shaky relationships with their Siblings.
Whilst I also see her befriending potentially Julia due to her personality wise not being too different from her dead lover.
I'd also think she might get along with Serra and Radomus....no reason it's just a gut feeling on this one.
Calreath
Calreath is the 7th gym leader of the torren region, lover of Diana, being chosen by Manaphy, and specializing in electric, water and dragon types, dying only because the cult leader Zenith made him fall into the depths of the infernal base when he could.Calreath as a personality is very joyful, very happy, i'd think he'd honestly get along well with a lot of people, I think Hardy, Julia, Terra, Lin, Blake and Cain might be some of the first characters I think off in this matter.....that would have been if he was ALIVE but woopsie daisies.
Adam
Adam is the final gym leader of insurgence, the dark type specialist, the prior augur (which meant the protector of the region, strongest trainer in the region, and chosen by Arceus to guide a crystal holding his power), he was also chosen by Hoopa and is the protagonists father.Before the story starts, Adam was forced into a corner by The second augur, Jaern and Persephone into a dream realm, made up in his sons mind to keep him locked there, after which he almost died via having a Gengar use dream eater on his child to make them forget completely about him.
I'd think Adam would get along pretty well with Amethyst, for the reason that they are both the previous strongest trainer in their region.
I would also think he would get along well with Noel and Anastasia, probably seeing a bit of his own child within them, on that note I think he would also get along well with Radomus, probably being able to share the pain he had when his whole life fell apart together with Radomus.
I'd also think he might get along well with Lin! Both of them are fans of hydreigon (He has a mega Hydreigon on him), and Adam might be a good father figure for Lin!
Damian
Damian is the first rival in pokemon insurgence, starting out together with you as someone who was adopted, later in the game he gets chosen by Shaymin, helps defeat the second augur, gaining at least a bit of a backbone before losing it to his friend telling him his step mother was right about him (when she said he was just a child and he wasn't ready for a pokemon yet), gets abducted by the deoxys man previously mentioned, finds out his mother is Audrey, leader of the abyssal cult, sees his mother potentially die infront of his eyes, only to get told he's gonna make the world better, gets healed in the postgame, helps save his mother and finally decides he wants to help people.Alright, first things first, I find him to be likely to become really good friends with Taka, not only due to the similarities, Taka being the son of Sol and Damian the son of Audrey, but also because they would just make good friends.
Other than that, I find him likely able to befriend Lumi and Evelynn, not through any particular reason I just really think he would, and perhaps he could also befriend Amaria, I feel like he would really be able to do that.
Nora
Nora is the second rival of the game, chosen by celebi at the start of her journey, going off on her friend telling him his step mother was right about him then immediately feeling remorse upon her actions, trying the whole game to fix this only to see her friend get infected with a Deoxys virus and disappear from her life, then proceed to become seemingly irrelevant for the rest of the game..........yup....she does nothing else........she's just there....As a person she's likely to become friends with quite a lot of the characters in reborn, Anna, Noel, Shelly, Cain, Victoria, Luna, Sera, Heather (although that is debatable), since she really is quite friendly in the game just.,...kinda pushed aside after the 6th badge.
Jaern
Jaern is the second augur, in the story he uses his reputation and political power as the second augur to make himself seem like an unkillable god when in reality he's weaker than Fern, he sacrifices the 3rd gym leader to summon rayquaza, only for him to suck ass at using the most broken pokemon in existence.Honestly the only person that he might get along with would be Fern, but only to annoy one another.
Audrey
Audrey is the leader of the abyssal cult, mother of Damian, and is obsessed with raising the ocean levels due to a Tentacruel evolution that occured a long time ago when Kyogre was rampaging through hoenn.As a character she might get along with possibly Serra due to both of them being parents (although one better than the other)
And Amaria only and only because she is a water type specialist
Zenith
So on short, he's a cocky cult leader that worships groudon, that almost succeeded at taking over the region after selling people fake vaccine shots.....look the game finished in 2016-2017-2018, it was before covid, the developer is pro Vaccination ok? This was just an unfortunate plotline he wrote into the game.But nah, I don't think anyone would be a fan of Zenith, like literally no one, this guy just sucks.
Persephone
Persephone is the leader of the darkrai cult, she's responsible for the player losing their memory, she's the sister of Diana and is a bit insane in trying to catch Darkrai, and hating her sister due to the fact that Diana and Persephone, when they were young they were under the influence of Zenith, and were part of the Infernal cult, Diana leaving Persephone alone under Zenith's control and leaving Persephone to lose her mind and dying for revenge both on her sister and Zenith.I feel like she might not be able to befriend...anyone, maybe just Sapphira because both of them are striven by the need to get back at those who hurt them, but nothing more.
Taen
Taen is the underling of Reukra, the leader of the perfection cult, he spent the majority of this game trying to make the original dragon and failed.He might only and only be able to get along semi well with Sigmund, maybe finding respect in his experiments....which....if you were to get along with Sigmund, there might be something wrong with you.
Someone else he might find appreciation for is Evelynn, due to the fact she created the pulse machine, and so he would probably be very interested in how the machines work and how Evelynn made them, basically a worse Florina.
Reukra
Reukra is the champion and leader of the perfection cult, he has only 1 thing keeping him forward in life, the search for perfection, he made delta pokemon (which in Insurgence are mostly man made variations of already existing pokemon, ex: a grimer made out of sand), he made mega evolutions, armors, tried with the original dragon, remade mewtwo, and almost succeded in finding the Perfect team.As for who he would get along with, I think he might forge a friendship with Sol, Sol wanting a perfect world and him striving for perfection, it goes hand in hand.
Another one he might find enjoyment for is Lyn, not Lyn as in Lyn, but in Lyn the doll, most likely being fascinated by how she's able to win fights like that, studying her matches and seeing what he can try to do to have that synergy, that perfect team he's striving for.......when he doesn't know her matches are already decided to be won.

When I converted to the Ahmadiyya branch of Islam in late 2016, one of the things that appealed to me about the Jammat was the 11-points of the “True Islam”. One of the points of the True Islam flyer was “Separation of mosque and state”. It made me believe for a couple years that Shariah was no longer applicable in this era and that everything the Quran mentioned in regards to shariah of the past was applicable to the past for the same reasons jihad is no longer applicable.
Do note, I am aware, this was my own misunderstanding and I was not as informed on Ahmadiyya literature as I was later on. Still, the fifth point of “separation of mosque and state” misled me into this belief. I thought, since this was the “True Islam”, therefore separation of mosque and state is actually a thing in Islam, especially for modern times.
When I read an article by Murabbi Rizwan Khan Sahib in his book, Ask A Murabbi, a book written for members of the Majlis Khuddamul-Ahmadiyya (MKA) USA who had questions and doubts about Islam, called “Does the fact that we seek to establish shari‘ah go against loyalty to our country”, that's when I realized I was wrong in what the True Islam USA flyer taught me.
Let me cite some passages from the article.
We have never hidden the fact that we wish to establish an Islamic government in the world. Rather, we openly say that we will establish an Islamic government over the world insha’Allah. What we deny is that we will establish an Islamic government through the sword and disorder. Rather, we will establish an Islamic government by winning people’s hearts. If I had the power to make all the people of England into Muslims, bring all of their ministers into Islam, make their members of parliament into Muslims and establish an Islamic government there, can anyone imagine that I would refuse to use this power? I would not delay even one minute, rather, I would strive to immediately make them Muslims and establish an Islamic government in England. However, since this is not in my power, so I cannot do it.
(Khutbat-e-Mahmud, 1936, p. 128–129).
These verses of the Holy Quran and revelation of the Promised Messiah are quite clear that his mission is to eradicate the prevailing western civilization, and to establish in its place the Islamic philosophy of life, the Islamic shari‘ah, the Islamic civilization, the Islamic economic structure, and the Islamic moral and social values.

These are taken from Ask A Murabbi. Now I am going to cite some passages from the Quran and their short commentary of Malik Ghulam Farid that clearly advocate for Shariah being established:
Commenting on Quran, Surah al-Fatiha 1:4:
Din means, recompense or requital; judgment or reckoning; dominion or government; obedience; religion, etc. (Lane).
Since din can be also used for dominion, judgement, government, and obedience, such does not go against the following verses:
Quran 24:56 (Maulavi Sher Ali translation):
Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will, surely, make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will, surely, establish for them their religion (din-i.e. government, obedience, dominion, judgement) which He has chosen for them; and that He will, surely, give them in exchange security and peace after their fear; They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso disbelieves after that, they will be the rebellious.
Quran 2:194 (Maulavi Sher Ali translation):
And fight them until there is no persecution, and religion (din, i.e. obedience, government, dominion [in the land]) is professed only for Allah. But if they desist, then remember that no hostility is allowed except against the aggressors.
Quran 9:12 (Maulavi Sher Ali translation):
And if they break their oaths after their covenant, and attack your religion (din-i.e. government, dominion, etc.), then fight these leaders of disbelief—surely, they have no regard for their oaths—that they may desist.
Interestingly enough, Mirza Tahir Ahmad offers an alternative translation where it says:
And if they break their oaths after their covenant, and revile your religion, then fight these leaders of disbelief—surely, they have no regard for their oaths—that they may desist.
Where did he get “revile” from? Because it's translated from Ta’ana.
In the Short Commentary, Malik Ghulam Farid states:
Ta‘ana literally meaning "to pierce with a spear.”
Now, Malik Ghulam Farid says this to make the verse sound literal, but as Mirza Tahir Ahmad would show in all of his footnotes post-1997 edition of Maulavi Sher Ali’s translation, it actually refers to verbal taunts.
Consider another verse where the word Ta’ana is also used:
Quran 4:47 (Maulavi Sher Ali translation):
There are some among the Jews who pervert words from their proper places. And they say, ‘We hear and we disobey,’ and ‘hear thou without being heard,’ and ‘Ra‘ina,’ screening with their tongues what is in their minds and seeking to injure (Ta’ana) the Faith. And if they had said, ‘We hear and we obey,’ and ‘hear thou,’ and ‘Unzurna,’ it would have been better for them and more upright. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief; so they believe but little.
How exactly does Ta’ana refer to anything literal here? It sounds to me that it refers to sarcasm and the Greek root of this word also means “to pierce” (idiom). And how was Ta’ana used here?
Because as the verse states:
“‘Ra‘ina,’ screening with their tongues what is in their minds and seeking to injure (Ta’ana) the Faith.”
Mirza Tahir Ahmad was merely pointing out the fact that anyone that tries to sarcastically taunt the faith (or even the government and kingdom), are to be fought (Faqaatiloo) against. Especially given the fact that this was after the declaration of termination of all treaties with the Meccans and pagan tribes (with the exceptions mentioned in 9:4), and the fact the following verse literally states:
Quran 9:13 (Maulavi Sher Ali Translation):
“Will you not fight a people who have broken their oaths, and who plotted to turn out the Messenger, and they were the first to commence hostilities against you? Do you fear them? Nay, Allah is most worthy that you should fear Him, if you are believers.”
With that, I rest my case. Ahmadiyya Shariah is a thing advocated by the Jammat and the True Islam USA campaign team is lying to its western audience in order to get converts and make it look like Ahmadiyya is a secular branch of Islam.

I work at a local ISP for my region, and we have one of our employees working on getting the hardware ready for infrastructure upgrades. One of the devices he's working on is a Catalyst 3750.
Well, he sent us a copy of the startup config file and most of it is this strange conspiracy story.

I work at a local ISP for my region, and we have one of our employees working on getting the hardware ready for infrastructure upgrades. One of the devices he's working on is a Catalyst 3750.
Well, he sent us a copy of the startup config file and most of it is this strange conspiracy story.

Well this is my second attempt of trying to write all of this out. The first I forgot to copy and paste it before closing out the app and I lost all my progress and I was near the end too. Thank you for the comments last post I enjoyed engaging with them and I hope to do some more the same today. But regardless here we on day 3, I'm determined to stick with this no matter what happens. Let's keep this Worm Week going.

The Top 7 Arcs in Worm according to my opinion:
5. Arc 30 Speck: Oh man, I don't know if I have the words to give this Arc the praise it deserves. It's the ending that completely and perfectly sticks the landing. Wildbow did an amazing job, cannot praise him enough. I'm not sure where I should start with this. I have so many memories of where I was when certain moments happen and my reactions/feelings. But I suppose with the other ones I'll start from the beginning and make my way through it. Amy is freaking out over what she did. Seriously who let this girl cook. Never ever let her cook even with consent. It took me a long time to realize that Taylor was doing the wrong things for what she considered the right reason, I believed her justifications almost every time and went a long with it because I love her as a character that much. But it was here when Tattletale was berating her over what she did that I realized what a monster she had become. Skipping over Taylor, now Khepri, visit to Teacher. When Taylor starts talking about how she's lost her ability to read and how much that hurt her because reading was how she connected with her mom I could have sob. She's too far gone, and she's gonna become even further gone. She ends up fighting Dragon. I hate this fight, not cause it's bad, but because it brokes my heart so much. Dragon was the one who always gave Taylor the benefit of the doubt, always trust her, Taylor looked at her like she is a motherly figure even. The person who treated Taylor most like human was an AI. My already broken heart got even more broken when Dragon fakes her death in hopes of making Khepri stop, but Khepri takes down Dragon and takes the Birdcage prisoners with her. Then she comes back to face Scion, then comes the most iconic line in the entire Parahumans series.
I'm going to be completely honest I kind of rushed the end because I've been up for way too long and I needed to get this out today. The next 4 days I'm going to try to do my due diligence and make sure these come out as best I can. This was it. Finally everyone was working together.I had this line spoiled for me, but I thought he was going to be this big happy moment as all the capes willingly fight against Scion together. But oh no, how wrong I was. I remember just standing there contemplating what I had just heard. With that we get to the final fight with Scion. I could read/listen to this fight forever and not get bored, Khepri's creativity with using everyone's power against Scion is great. Using Doormaker's portals when she sends every volley of blaster powers Scion's way and closes the portal so Scion can't retaliate. Making Sundancer's orb as big as possible along side with Chevalier's cannon blade using Vista's power, using Number Man to see what will hit, using Defiant's technology to know what Scion's next move is. She goes so hard people start having strokes, then she uses Canary to sing to them. Which I want to know what Canary exactly was singing, I would love some WOG on it. Also when Taylor pulls Dinah, my heart could have sank. She was Taylor's motivation through the majority of the first half of the book. Now here she is being used as a puppet. There's a moment in arc 18 where Taylor realizes she's becoming Coil because she realizes how useful Dinah's power is, and here she is now literally becoming Coil using Dinah. Then Doormaker loses his power and all hopes seems lost until Taylor begins taunting and bullying Scion by reminding him of his lost partner. I love this so much, it really does come full circle. She has to become essentially her trauma to beat Scion. It surely does work. She breaks the spirit of the warrior. This right here is my favorite line from this Arc
In the moment that hope died, the girl with the injured hand used her power on the iron rods. Infused them with the energy he was afraid of.The mental image of Scion running in horror not being able to deal with this type of emotional pain is so fascinating. It shows he's not human, because humans know how to endure this type of pain but Scion doesn't. I've heard of a lot of people have this head cannon and I do too, that Scion asked his path to victory "How do I make this pain go away?" And the path victory told him, not to move. Taylor thinking everyone is trying to fight her when they are cheering, applauding, rejoicing, genuinely brings me to tears just to even think about. I want nothing more but to give her a hug in that moment. But Contessa takes her away, and in a moment that I will always remember sitting in my bedroom listening to the audiobook screaming no as Contessa shoots Taylor twice leaving her fate unknown. A perfect end to a perfect book.
Those rods became projectiles, in another’s hands.

He didn’t try to dodge. He couldn’t or wouldn’t.

I'm not sure if this post belongs here but when i was checking other rules of other convos it didn't belong but I really need answers.
A little back story I(17F) made a friend also (17F) at practice. We had already known each other but it was only in passing at school we weren't friends. We ended up joining a club together and thats when we started to get close. We would ride to practice together, have sleepovers together, the whole nine yards.
We ended up going on a trip together with a few other people and we were having a good time. Before the trip she had told me about a boy she met and how they got along really well. I was extremely excited for her because she looked happy.
Things were great on the trip we were having a good time and, I went to her room with another friend. We were laughing and we were having a good time is all I can really say if you get my drift. Next thing I know she blurts out that she was pregnant. Yes, pregnant. This wouldn't have been a problem had it not been for the amount of fun we were having.
I suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe and trying to make the situation better I asked what her plans were. She said she was going to keep it. I asked if she told anyone other than me and the other friend that was with us but she said no. The other friend (18F) said I should drop it and we could talk about it later.
I figured this was also a good idea and stopped talking about it but it was still on my mind.
To rewind from this I usually have premonitions in dreams but they're not immediate. Meaning they wont happen the next day. This is important to say because I had previously had a dream about me being in a hallway and the (17F) friend was trying to take pictures but my face was angry and confused. I saw it in the reflection before she snapped the picture and realized i needed to fix it and smile.
I then realized that this was the moment I had seen in my dream a month ago and that it was because she had told me this.
Before the trip she told me that she had gotten her cycle and asked me to check if she bled through because it was on her but not her jeans. These memories were flashing through my head after she told me she was pregnant. I asked her about it and she told me she lied. "I lied, I lied, I lied." Those words rang in my head so loud. She had lied to me. How far back did she begin to lie. This was one of the problems. I could care less about her being pregnant because that was something we could deal with we were friends after all. I would give her anything she needed.
The fact that she had been lying, it felt like she broke my trust. Like I was looking at a stranger. I didn't know what to think. Had the friendship been built off of lies was a big question for me. Some might say I was overthinking or overreacting but like I said we were having a good time. I was stuck with my thought in my room alone.
The second problem for me was that she is a smoker. Vapes and weed. The entire trip. She wanted to keep the baby but she was still using. That was all I could think about. When I was back to my senses I would tell her that she shouldn't do that because it wasn't ok. Implying that she had something to protect and take care of. All she would say was why. It was like she didn't care or didn't remember what she had told me. The rest of the trip I would give her snacks and food and try to keep her away from smoking. Some people said that was weird but I was just trying to help.
I started distancing myself from her because i needed time to process but I was still trying to be there for her. After the trip we all went home and i distanced from everyone. I felt I had no one to talk to about it. She ended up texting me saying it was a joke. My trust was already broken and I didn't know if I could believe anything she would say. Another one of our friends (17F) got us both on the phone and let her explain herself and she kept saying it was all a joke. I dropped it on the phone and said ok but, thats not how i really felt. The trust was already broken for me. I felt our relationship would never be the same. My anxiety had gotten so bad that i even decided to go to a different college because we were planning on being roommates. I just don't know what to do. It actually was a joke but I still don't know how to feel.
What do I do? AITA? Did I overreact? Was I thinking too much? How should I go about this?

I’ve been thinking about how Tiffany came out guns blazing with the “don’t give us any Taylor Swift or Metallica references” directed at Charlie and Ben. Personally I think this was Kenzie’s sidekick influencing the jury off the bat and it was unfair to say, because it was part of his social game. The jury seemingly overlooked Kenzie’s lack of strategic moves in favor of her social game, yet Tiff, the biggest Kenzie champion there, is telling Charlie “something that contributed to your social game can’t be used here.”
Charlie didn’t get the benefit of the doubt from the jury for not being able to claim every possible strategic move in the post-merge, and his strategic game was still levels above Kenzie’s. He was penalized for it, but for Kenzie’s it was “she was more of a social player.” It’s very ironic that Tiff wanted Charlie and Ben to not lean into key parts of their social games that made them likable to other players which allowed them to form social bonds, while Kenzie was primarily a social player who based her winning argument off being social.
