>**What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.*\*
Always had a console, want to see how PC gaming is. Helldivers 2, Fallout series, GTA V
>**What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?*\*
$800-$1000, trying to find a good balance between value/performance.
>**When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.*\*
within a 2 week timeframe.
>**What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (ToweOS/monitokeyboard/mouse/etc\)*\*
Tower will be included in the budget.
>**Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?*\*
US, a Microcenter is within driving distance.
>**If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.*\*
I have an old keyboard/mouse I'll use til I upgrade.

2024.05.14 00:35 Adamsayash How to use a pre-made case study in your research paper?

Hello,
I am writing a research paper for a pre-master’s degree course assignment regarding energy efficiency in buildings. Due to the small scope of the course, I will not be able to do stimulation model for the building and extract results from it to write the conclusions. Therefore, I will use a case study for an already simulated building instead. In that case:
1- How could I analyze this case study in my paper? 2- Should I write a summary of its methodology, results and conclusions? 3- Also, where should I attach it in my paper? As a part of my literature review or the methodology? 4- Would I use only one parenthetical reference of the author for the entire case study summary in my research? 5- Do you know any paper that has a case study analysis (referencing a case study not making one) as it’s methodology, so it can be a reference for me in terms of structure?
Thank you all in advance…

2024.05.14 00:34 NeatStranger Repost(You should buy KitHack Model Club (Made by KSP1 Creator))

It's made by the original creator of KSP1(HarvesteR). The building style is very similar to KSP.
For reference I have about 1200 hours in KSP 1 and < 2 in KSP2.
I bought it yesterday, after watching Matt Lowne's most recent video. Still early access, and there are a few bugs here and there. It has a lot of potential, and is a really good value for the money at it's current price.
I spent a couple of hours last night playing the game in multiplayer. So not super in depth, but enough to reccomend it to anyone who likes KSP.
Matt Lowne's Original KitHack video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z21bgMhPjvw&t=79s
Matt Lowne and KSP 1 Creator Talk KSP 2 Drama: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJFGDSi8R5o
There is some really interesting commentary in here, where HarvesteR talks about how he would approach building KSP2 by starting with a completely new concept so the sequel isn't compared directly to the original. Then working towards feature parity later. Part of me wonders if he is thinking this way about this game, or a future title. It definitely feels like this game could incorporate orbital mechanics.
KitHack Steam Page:https://store.steampowered.com/app/2107090/KitHack\_Model\_Club/
My thoughts:
Building:
I was so excited to see most of my keyboard shortcuts and flow transfered seamlessly to this game. I spent most of my time trying to build a plane. The method for creating the main body/fuselage of the aircraift, is genius in my opinion. All of the Aerodynamic Parts and fuselage sections are procedural, so you can pull them into any shape you want, although it did seem like there is a limit to how big everything can go.
Controlling:
The part of the game, in between flying/driving the model, and building the model. Is the weakest and still needs a bit of work. Not that anything doesn't work as it should. This was simply the part that I struggled with the most. After you throw your plane, the camera contextually switches into a "Chase" mode behind the aircraft. It felt natural, and I could feel the difference in control based on how I designed the control surfaces.
Multiplayer:
All good here, we were playing sandbox, no real objective. Everyone loaded in fine, and the game didn't have any issues. The experience was almost identical to when I was playing by myself plus other players. I strapped a paintball gun to my plane, and tried to shoot another player who was driving a boat in the water.
Graphics:
The graphics looked great and ran really well. Take this with a grain of salt thogh. (13900K/4070Ti)
Final Thoughts: I like to build things, but building things in the real world sometimes hurts my ambition when things just don't go the way I want them to. To recharge, I play simulation/building games. KSP1, Stormworks Build and Rescue, Mars First Logistics, Hydroneer, Cities Skylines, and Minecraft on occasion. There is no doubt that KitHack Model club will be a wonderful addition to this list. It scratched the itch in my brain to build stuff. I was thinking about ways to improve the aerodynamic handling of my aircraft while getting ready this morning. It's good, and you should buy it if you can.
[EDIT]
I commented the following down below. These are thoughts that I have been trying to form the right words for and a couple of commenters inspired me to say this:
I think that generally I wrote this post because HarvesteR seems to be one of the few people capable of leading us forward. KitHack is not a KSP replacement, but it shows that he has the capability to build something that could be.
In his most recent interview with Matt Lowne, he talks potential strategy for building and releasing a KSPx(not that it would exist in the same universe due to IP ownership).
He also mentions that a lot of the code for KitHack was built in a modular way that could be ported to a new title in the future.
I bought the game, not because I am dying to play a Model RC game(althgouh I did have quite a bit of fun playing it for the first time). I bought the game, because there is some small chance it's success could lead the team to take on a new project. One the could far eclipse the success of KSP1 and certainly KSP2.
If there is a 1/1,000,000 chance that my $20 helped fund the next great space flight simulator game even 10 years down the line; and I get a pretty fun building/flying/driving/boating game. That seems like a good deal to me. Would I be dissapointed if that never happens? Probably not. I don't expect it, and it probably won't. Would be cool though.
I should add that if you're playing Kerbal Space Program, strictly for space. You probably won't have much fun with KitHack. However, if like me, you spend the majority of your playthough in the VAB or SPH, then this game will probably be fun for you.

2024.05.14 00:31 nathanshanley New PC build crashing

As the title says, I just finished building a new PC, but it has been experiencing crashes back to desktop while gaming on several games (squad, BMX Streets, gray zone) & 1 crash that rebooted the entire system after I closed out of the Xbox app one time. For added context, I have been utilizing XMP mode in my BIOS (3200 speed) Since these crashes, I have done the following to diagnose/fix the problem. - turned down graphics settings in the games but that didn’t help - ran SFC/SCANNOW which did fix corrupted files, but didn’t fix crashing. - used memtest86 to test ram, which found many errors while using XMP profile with using maximum ram speed (3200) - tuned the XMP profile down to 3066 ram speed & used memtest86 again which found 0 errors.
After this, I also looked at my motherboard accepted RAM and did not find my exact model number there (but found others that were very similar to it)
I have 2 questions:
Here are my system specs: - GPU: RTX 4070 super gigabyte gaming OC - CPU: Intel i7 13700k - Cpu cooler: NXT Kraken 240mm AIO - PSU: EVGA 1000GT Supernova Gold - RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 DDR4 - SSD: 980 Pro M.2 2 TB

2024.05.14 00:29 Probably_Not_Steve Dream live rig scenario

Ok, so I have a rough idea of what I want to do here but, I'm curious to hear what you all come up with:
8 piece band playing covers of stadium style rock (think Tom Petty, Springsteen, etc) doing 1-offs (some corporate charity events with nearly unlimited cash, some mid-size venues (700-1,500 capacity)
FOH console is ideally some flavor of Avid S6L (it's what I'm most used to, but open to being talked into other options)
Mons: Most likely either building an IEM rig for the band to self-mix or handing mons off to house crew.
what would your dream mic package look like?
Any outboard/plugins you would want?
Have fun with it.

Ohio just legalized - starting sales next month which is a huge tailwind on earnings and FCF.
ATB analyst Take: sector remains undervalued, trading at an average 2024e EVI EBITDA of 8.8x compared to an analyst's base-case sector valuation of 11.8x. According to an ATB analyst, as most companies have reached positive Free Cash Flow (FF) generation, investors could start valuing the sector based on FF multiples or yields, offering significant upside potential. Additionally, with US cannabis poised for exponential growth upon federal legalization, MSOs are trading at an attractive average 5.2% 2024e FCF yield.
The sector is ripe for a move… should a retail avalanche move in.

2024.05.14 00:25 FleeingForest [Hobby][RevShare] Looking for a 2D Artist to work on a cool portfolio of projects with!

Hello fellow game creatives!
Myself who has been programming and making games for well over a decade and an audio designemusic composer friend of mine who also has many years of experience under his belt creating amazing music and sounds for games; are looking to build up a portfolio of cool and interesting short games inspired by SOKPOP's model!
We're looking for a 2D Artist to join our team and help us to create some amazing games together!!
Even teaming up and working on some cool game jams together could be a lot of fun and we'd be down for that! If we work well together and can complete a few game, perhaps we can form a small studio of our own and see where things go from there.
We would love if someone could join us long term in making a collection of interesting and fun short games! We think that shorter games can create some of the most fun, innovative and replayable experiences out there and the thought of working together to create such games as a team is honestly SO SO exciting!!!
For those interested in how the monetization would work; We would sell these games via Steam and Itch. Games will be sold both individually and as larger bundles. After any expenses, the remainder, aka profit, will be split among the team!
So if you are someone who can create cool 2D art and are just as excited with making cool stuff as we are hit us up!!! If you're interested in working together feel free to contact me via my discord frozenacorn or drop me a private message here on reddit!
THANKS FOR READING!

2024.05.14 00:25 JaschaE Blender generated Mesh vs. imported stl?

Hello, everyone. I am fairly new to Blender, but not exactly new to 3D modeling. I am currently working on an "industrial building"-set and some of the machine assets I need would take a lot less time if I jumped into my usual industrial design programs and generated some .stl files. The question is: What do I lose if I do that? There will be no animation required, but I obviously need to apply materials and such to make it fit into the scene. Does saving this time bite me in the ass in some shape or form? (couldn't realy find anything about prettifying stl files) Thanls in advance

2024.05.14 00:25 Adamsayash How to use a pre-made case study in your research paper?

Hello,
I am writing a research paper for a pre-master’s degree course assignment regarding energy efficiency in buildings.

2024.05.14 00:24 WasdCritics Lightyear Frontier

Lightyear Frontier, the first title from Frame Break, a Swedish game development studio, presents an open-world game in early access, in which the player piloting a Mecha must work to survive and revitalize the newly colonized planet, as well as uncover the secrets present in this unknown world.
The game offers a set of elements that broaden its scope and make it daring, to say the least, especially considering that it is the first game from an indie studio. After landing on the unknown planet, it is necessary to recover the Mecha and its various tools. Upon completing this brief tutorial, the player has their Mecha ready, which is basically a Mecha made for agricultural purposes in order to help colonize other planets by obtaining resources. At this point the player is introduced to the farm element of the game, the player must collect the alien plants from the planet and cultivate them in order to develop the agricultural land, along with this proposal is added the whole layer of managing a base with different structures and improvements for the Mecha. Finally, there is the element of the open world, which is eager for exploration in order to discover new resources and uncover the mysteries of the new environment.
The story of the game goes hand in hand with the main objective: upon entering the planet, the player needs to start a new life in the new world, and a big part of that life, apart from the little farm, is exploring the environment. Each time a new environment is cleared, the player learns a little more about the game's history through a personal AI that tells them why the space exploration mission took place and what the process was like. At the same time, there is a sealed door that has its seals unlocked according to each new environment that is rejuvenated. After the environments have been completely rejuvenated, the sealed door is opened and part of the world's secrets are revealed, along with a special ability for the mech. Unfortunately the story stops there, there is a sequel but it hasn't been produced yet, you'll have to wait for future updates and for the game to be officially released for it to be completed.
As for the farm part of the game, this is also essential to the story as a whole, it's not there as an extra element that takes up time without any purpose, because it's from the 5 tools that the player has in their mech that the process of cleaning up the environment takes place, especially with the plant watering tool and the harvester. The robotic watering can is used to remove harmful mud and the harvester is used to remove harmful weeds, so without both, the whole exploration element becomes meaningless. So where does the farm come in? Mud and weeds are more resistant in more advanced environments, so you need to upgrade the mech's tools so that these obstacles can be removed, and that's where the farm comes in, it's where the different constructions are made available and resources are obtained in order to improve the mecha. The Mecha's improvement site is also built at the base next to the buildings that process the different metals, woods and alien plants into oils to be used as improvements. In addition to the farm itself, exploration is important in the Mecha's evolution, since resources such as trees, stones, aluminum, copper and iron need to be collected from the environment. All these elements are there to make improvements to the Mecha possible, improvements that are not only essential for the game as a whole to continue, but are also important for more efficient maintenance of the plantation.
There are also other interesting elements such as the product store that appears daily on the player's farm, where you can sell and buy products to facilitate progression and partly reduce the need to grind. There's also the quest board, which offers tasks in exchange for money to be spent in the produce store. One element that has been developed that is a positive surprise are the random events on the plantation, which are basically two: the noxious bubbles that need to be popped with the water jet before they grow and explode, and the rain of noxious weeds, both of which can wipe out the player's plantation and both of which always occur in the morning and close to harvest day, for this reason the player is almost obliged to sleep in the house overnight, because if they don't and the random event occurs the next day, it's practically impossible to remedy the disaster on the plantation, so the element is used to limit exploration to an extent that the farm won't be abandoned, an excellent game design idea.
An impactful characterization of decoration in the gameplay has been developed by Frame Break in Lightyear Frontier, unlike other games, the work generously rewards the player for decorating the area of their residence. The different levels of housing allow for different degrees of bonuses, and these bonuses are incredible, such as the chance to increase the collection of resources, destroy objects more quickly with a “critical” with the blade tool, or even increase the yield of the plantation. The fact is that the game has turned the element of customizing the house and its surroundings into an essential element of the gameplay, and it's an incredible way of encouraging the player to explore all the infinite decorations beyond “I want to make my house pretty”.
Aesthetically, the work has a pseudo-realism, where the playful mixes with the real and the cartoonish style takes over. It's an interesting mix and is in line with the model proposed by Frame Break, the exploration and colonization of a new planet. Graphically, the game is beautiful and presents almost no performance problems, with few bugs to be found.
In conclusion, Lightyear Frontier delivers the old and basic in a revamped form, not a bad thing for a small studio that has made great strides with its first work. Meca's idea draws attention to the game, which features exploration, base management, the creation of a farm, and a story with normal levels. There is nothing extraordinary or innovative about the basic structure of the game, but it is solid and very well interconnected, the elements of the work are interdependent, which generates continuous progression in all aspects of the work. In short, the work is characterized in this way: the basics done with care and dedication so that the homogeneity of the work is maintained, together with a dash of daring with a somewhat out-of-the-box idea.

2024.05.14 00:20 TheoryCorrect9486 PC Troubles

Hello, I’m coming here as a bit of a last resort. This is my first time building and even owning a PC so I’m not the most well versed when it comes to this stuff. I spent a lot of time doing research and learning, and even followed a video guide when building. Everything was going smoothly however I’ve now run into an issue:
So after successfully building my first PC with no issues I downloaded the windows 11 installation files onto a flash drive, and set up windows 11 (without a key) on my new system. The next day I began to set up all the other after-build things like downloading the drivers for the motherboard and the gpu and changing a fan speed and the xmp in the bios, I also went ahead and downloaded coretemp. At some point I went AFK for no more than an hour and when I came back I noticed my mouse was laggy, tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and anything else to make sure it wasn’t a fault on the mouse (this is where the problems began). I realized windows 11 itself had froze, so I turned off my pc and booted it back up, loaded it up and was able to log into windows fine and then maybe 2 minutes later, it did the exact same thing. laggy mouse cursor and then total freeze. Another 3-4 times of this happening I had the blue troubleshooting screen pop up in which it gave the option to hard reset the pc. Seeing as I didn’t really have anything to lose data wise, I figured I might as well and just start from the beginning again. Booted it up to the motherboard manufacturer screen popping up and pc continuously resetting, realized I had to reinstall the windows on the flash drive again, did that, and now when I go to install windows 11 again the same way I did the first time, it just freezes. My cursor doesn’t move and the screen is just stuck. The farthest it got to was “Getting files ready for installation: 45%”. Now it won’t make it past “Copying Windows files”.
I’ve tried setting the bios back to default and pretty much every option on the troubleshooting screen of windows that pops up when I reset it, to no avail. I wiped the SSD clean as to possibly purge any files from the original install of windows maybe somehow still messing with something? didn’t work.
Could it possibly be a hardware issue with one of my components causing the pc to freeze? Is there ant way to check? I honestly don’t know, I’m a bit out of my element here and looking for any and all support/recommendations. I’d be shocked if anything was broken as everything was bought new and the pc initially was running fine.
Just in case they’re needed, these are my specs:
-CPU: Intel Core i5-13600K -GPU: NVIDIA 4070 Super Founders Edition -RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz -SSD: SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 2TB -MB: MSI PRO Z790-P WiFi -AIO: NZXT Kraken 240 -PSU: MSI MAG A850GL PCIE 5 & ATX 3.0 -CASE: NZXT H6 Flow RGB Mid Tower
Thank you for any help :)

2024.05.14 00:20 maydaybutton [Hiring] - Need AI Image specialist to help build prompts for Stable Diffusion based models to obtain specific output themes/results

Looking to hire ASAP!
Budget: $10-30/hr or $30-60 per theme (prompt).
I need someone who can help with building out custom prompts for AI image generation of people using a stable diffusion face reference workflow (photomaker). Model is publicly available on Replicate.com serverless (cost is pennies when run) or can be installed locally if preferred from github, should you have adequate hardware to support it.
I will provide you with custom themes/preferred output styles (ex: Person smiling riding roller coaster; person looking at artwork in a museum; person as a royal subject in countryside, etc.). Your job will be to come up with a set of positive/negative prompts, and setting configurations (steps, style strength, and guidance) to provide me with appropriate output results that fit my given theme/descriptors that also match up with input face likeness for the majority of images. Must be 100% extra SFW (no bikinis, cleavage, shirtless, etc).
Once I approve a given direction, to finalize a theme, you'll run through a handful of iterations, testing 4-6 different male/female faces to determine if a single theme works for all/most faces without adjusting the prompt settings in-between (with the exception of a male/female prompt guide word).
These output images should be saved/sorted in my shared Gdrive or Dropbox folder using the theme style name, with a subfolder for male output images and female output images, along with a notebook with the prompts and settings used to achieve each theme.
Theming must be done using either one of the below photomaker models - (may be open to custom models and custom build out at a later point for more control).
https://replicate.com/tencentarc/photomaker
https://replicate.com/tencentarc/photomaker-style
If you are interested in applying, please send DM me a portfolio of work, or an example of a SFW AI image you generated of a person, and the prompts/settings you used. Let me know if you have a set hourly rate, or prefer to work on a fixed rate per theme/prompt. Include the keyword "replicate" so I know you read this post.

2024.05.14 00:18 lindstropicalsno Hiring and Training the Best Employees for Your Shave Ice Business

When it comes to running a successful shave ice or snow cone business, having a solid team is just as crucial as having a top-notch product. Today, we’re delving into the insights provided by some of the highest-performing shave ice businesses in the United States. These top sellers have honed their expertise in building a team that’s not only skilled but also genuinely enhances their business’s community presence. Here’s a comprehensive look at their approach to hiring and training, packed with actionable tips for fellow business owners, especially those just starting a shave ice business or looking to enhance their snow cone business plan.
Tips for Hiring the Best!
1. Customer-focused hires: The interview process is key to discovering why candidates want to join their team. Look for individuals who are genuinely customer-oriented—a critical trait since employees significantly influence customer retention and satisfaction in the profitable shave ice business arena. As one owner noted, their team’s ability to make customers feel valued is often what they hear praised in the community.
2. Avoiding Overstaffing: Understanding the ebb and flow of business across seasons helps in planning the number of hires. These owners have learned from experience to start small and scale up if needed, which mitigates the risk of overstaffing and underutilizing employees, a situation that can lead to dissatisfaction and high turnover rates in the mobile shave ice business.
3. Pre-Hiring Meeting: The most effective owners host a pre-hiring meeting with candidates and their parents, which helps set clear expectations from the start and ensures parents are onboard with the responsibilities of their kids.
4. Setting Clear Expectations: The job descriptions are clear about the roles and responsibilities, which include operating shave ice machines and engaging positively with customers. This clarity helps in attracting the right fit for their business needs and is crucial for those exploring shave ice franchise opportunities.
Creating a Place to Stay and a Place to Grow
1. Recognition and Rewards: Acknowledging hard work and providing incentives such as pay raises and gift cards are practices that the best owners use to motivate and retain staff. They also emphasize the importance of having fun at work, which enhances team spirit, important in fostering a positive environment.
2. Fostering Responsibility: By encouraging team members to handle their scheduling requests responsibly, they cultivate a sense of ownership and maturity among the staff, which translates into more reliable service for customers.
3. Comprehensive Onboarding: New hires undergo a detailed training process, including hands-on practice with the equipment and customer service scenarios. This ensures that each team member is well-prepared before the season begins, enhancing their confidence and capability in handling snow cone syrups and shave ice flavors efficiently.
4. Promoting Product Knowledge: Provide extensive training on the various flavors, toppings, and customization options available to customers. Encourage employees to sample different combinations of flavors to become familiar with the product offerings and make informed recommendations to customers.
5. Emphasizing Upselling Techniques: Train employees on effective upselling techniques to increase average order value, such as suggesting additional toppings, flavor combinations, or larger serving sizes. Provide scripts or role-playing exercises to help employees confidently upsell without appearing pushy or aggressive.
6. Continuous Learning: Regular feedback and ongoing training sessions are part of their strategy to keep the team well-informed and adept at handling various situations. This not only helps in maintaining high standards but also fosters a learning environment, crucial for managing a shave ice seasonal business.
7. Scheduling and Management Tools: Great owners utilize tools like Homebase or When I Work for scheduling and communication, which simplifies managing their team and keeps everyone aligned.
8. Implementing Feedback Mechanisms: Encourage employees to share their insights and suggestions for enhancing operations and customer satisfaction. This helps employees feel apart of the business in a way that encourages them.
9. Social Media and Marketing Training: Educate employees on the importance of social media in promoting the business and engaging with customers online. Provide training on how to create visually appealing shave ice presentations for social media posts and encourage employees to share their experiences and interact with customers on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
Conclusion: Building a Winning Team for Your Shave Ice Venture
By focusing on strategic hiring, comprehensive training, and fostering a supportive and enjoyable work environment, you can build a team that not only performs well but also significantly contributes to the business’s success. Implement these best practices to create a vibrant, efficient team that will keep your customers coming back season after season.

2024.05.14 00:14 Heartdrip Disappointed

Disappointed
Be cautious when purchasing a Tesla from Tesla.com
Going to try to keep this short and bitter…
Tesla will not give you a “Deal Sheet” to send your lender (bank) for financing until you make the deposit and pay shipping fee ($1,000 in my case). After paying (Tuesday night around 9pm) I received a voicemail from Anthony (Tesla rep) Wednesday morning , stating if I had questions I may reach out via call, text, or email. I did all of the above trying to get the info for my lender. After no response, I was anxious to know the delivery date, etc to get things moving forward asap and decided to go to my local Tesla dealership Saturday, to see what the delay was. I was told they cancelled my order Friday @ 3pm due to not responding to their texts, and the vehicle had already been RE-SOLD! Sunday night @ 7:30 pm (Mothers Day) Anthony decided to return my call to inform me that they would not be able to refund my $1,000 , only $500 for delivery.
In summary: I never received their text, email etc. however local dealership, said he COULD see my text. They canceled the order in less than 3 days and refused to refund. Now I am disputing the charge through my bank. This is a cash grab scam and I know I can’t be they only one this has happened to.
Already own a model S I bought from Mercedes Benz dealership and love it. Want a Model X to pair with, but will not buy from Tesla dealer. Hope this helps anyone considering purchasing. 🍻

2024.05.14 00:13 alexguy5 What is a reasonable amount of effort to expect in dating?

So I met this girl at the gym. I noticed her kind of looking at me from afar and she later came up to ask if I was using the machine beside me, so I struck up a quick 5 minute conversation, asked her out, and got her number.
After like 6 gym bantery messages, I asked her to get coffee with me later that week, to which she replied she was going to be too busy with her new job. I wished her congrats on the job and left it at that. She never reached out to me after that last message.
My question is: is this one of those “if she wanted to she would” type situations? Or is it unreasonable to expect her to message me. Is she expecting me to reach out again?
A few things… The fact that she turned down the date without a reschedule is a clear sign of disinterest. I know I should have let the conversation flow a bit more and build anticipation before going for the date. However, if she was initially interested, would going for the date too soon be all it takes for her loose interest?

2024.05.14 00:11 patters1079 Air France- upgrading after purchasing ticket

We’ve never flow AF before. We would like to go to Tahiti next March. If I were to use my chase points to transfer to AF and purchase premium econ seats, can I upgrade at a later date using more transferred chase points? We don’t have enough points to buy business, but I’m worried if we wait too long, the cost will go up. (I’ve seen this already on some dates) I would really like to upgrade the flight to PPT since it’s overnight. I’d be ok keeping premium econ for the day time flight home. If we can’t upgrade with points, do they allow you to upgrade for cash? (Any idea how much that might be?) thank you!

5ghz seems to drop clients randomly R7000?
I just upgraded my R6700 (basically R7000) from a very old kong build (2018) to the latest beta yesterday (DD-WRT v3.0-r56326 std (05/10/24)). I followed the instructions I found from posts of users in a similar situation that said update (don't pick reset) and then hard reset with the button to clear the NVRAM. All went well everything seems to be running almost perfectly.
I say almost because I'm having one tiny annoying issue that maybe someone can help me figure out. It seems that my 5Ghz band will keep dropping certain clients. I have 3 in particular (2 Android phones) will get kicked off, briefly lose wifi and then reconnect with no issues until it happens again.

I have 1 client on the 5Ghz that's been connected since I first brought it up so not sure its its entirely the 5Ghz that's the problem (or I would have expected all the clients to drop). It does however appear that the 3 clients that are having the problem all drop at the same time together (screenshot uptime is at 42 minutes). 2.4Ghz has been rock solid.

The ancient kong build never did this so I am just wondering if it's a setting I need to tweak? The only real modification from stock I made was to set the Shortcut Forwarding Engine to CTF and Flow Acceleration to CTF & FA, would these possibly cause this behavior?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
