Combat arms free hacks

So I finally finished this game 100% which is something I almost never do. I find that a lot of the time doing so ruins the experience for me. This was my first souls like game and I loved it so much that I wanted more and the achievements were basically just get the most out of the game. I'm so glad I did.
I nearly gave up after getting stuck on the donkey. I didn't really understand the guard mechanic at that point and unistalled the game. Like 3 months later I came back and they'd given me a glaive. I also watched a video on how the combat actually works. From this point on I was fully addicted.
My friends have been pressuring me to play dark souls for ages and I had always said no because I'd assumed these type of games were too hard for me. Now I'm absolutely going to play them all.
This has probably become my favourite game of all time. It wasn't just the gameplay it was the atmosphere the art and the music. The first time I played feel I think is the moment I really fell in love. The pacing felt perfect. I know people have there complaints with chapter 10 being so short but I thought it was perfect to have a to the point one after all you'd been through and before the last massive chapter. The collectible were all fantastic I just loved it.
On my first run I used spectres and throwables. Totally uneccesary for me to get through. When k got to the nameless puppet I decided I wanted to do it without throwables and if I could I do NG+. I managed to get him and followed with a no throwables no spectres run. Easily the most enjoyable run as the 3rd one I went full cheese and steamroller rhe game throwing everything and hiding behind my shielded leigon arm. I think the strength of the throwables is amazing. Yes they let you absolutely roll bosses but I think having that access ability opens the door for a player like myself to get through the game and potentially go for a greater challenge if they choose.
Some minor feedback. Not complaints just areas I think could be improved in a dlc or sequel. Firstly I felt that a couple of secret bosses could have really been cool. I think hermits Cove was a missed opportunity and the king of riddles could have been something as well. Obviously understanding there are time and money constraints so again not a complaint. Secondly I felt that the leigon arms were a bit too difficult to work into what felt like a meaningful way (other than the shield) perhaps this is just my experience but though at times they were good the animations felt so long and the pay-off felt a bit lacking I ratley fully integrated them. I also think as a reward for getting all 3 endings unlocking a run where all stargazers and shortcuts were unlocked would insentive additional playthrough and perhaps replacing boss ergo with other valuable resources to compensate this.
But all in all wow what a great experience. And also what a fantastic community here as well. I've never been part of a game like this with everyone just spreading admiration and support. Much love and luck to all you Liars.

To preface one thing - this is in Singapore, I am half singaporean and half thai, I have no close friends or family members around here, but I study here.
So after many years of dating and many quite one sided and manipulative relationships with guys and after 3 months of being single I finally got into relationship with my GF. First time trying lesbian dynamic. I felt it would be very different, she would understand me more and was less demanding of me and of course less physical and simply more harmonious, since, you know it's a fellow woman.

Right after I moved in I was just in a span of week introduced to basically a laundry list of chores I should do and at the time I thought alright we pull this together right, but we didn't. After next couple weeks I realised (for the first time ever) that I am doing the same chores I would be doing for my former boyfriends and I started to feel, yet again, more as a maid with benefits. This time I had courage to voice that to my GF and she would apologise and be all sweet about how she didn't realise and that would coo me for another week, but no changes would actually happen. Only now I think it's been manipulative.
Since I am a university student and a "gym bunny" I have less free time than one would expect and suddenly it was filled mostly by coming home doing chores before going to gym and then coming from gym and my GF would be still up and then she would be demanding for attention, mostly in bedroom. This is when I've also noticed that while guiding me in bedroom she never seemed eager to pleasure me in return unless I would specifically ask and so for days I tried not to ask and suddenly it was super one sided bedroom stuff and she seemed perfectly fine with that. That stung because it immedaitelly reminded me of my last 3 boyfriends where it was the same.
I held a lot of this in, trying to keep being disciplined and do all she'd like me to do and chores and everything more and better in hopes of her seeing more value in me. But it simply didn't happen, not over course of two plus weeks.
Well this weekend I was using her ipad, where she always logged off out of all social and communication apps when she wasn't using. I always thought it's a like... internet safety thing in case the device gets hacked or something. But this time her whatsapp and wechat was logged in and I simply discovered that while I am at school and she's "working" from home she's hooking up at least once a week with guys. Or at least mostly with guys I wasn't in the mood to read into too much detail, seeing texts of your presumeably loved sending very intimite and heartfelt texts to guys and reacting to their D pics and sending stuff back... I felt betrayed but so far I haven't said anything and the routine contiues to my own detrement.
From doing gymnastics on higher level for 10+ years I'm used to some discipline and manners that would now be probably consider abuse, but what I learnt from that was to be quiet a lot not to cause conflict and please people. Despite my previous relationships with guys being basically abusive it was eventually always them to dump me, I never had the guts to do it yet (not counting middle school lol). This time I recognize the problem and I would like to end things but at the same time I moved too soon (in hindsight) and have nowhere to go at the moment.
And so for weeks I felt like maid and for 4-5 days now I feel more like bang maid who's also stupid and naive and I couldn't contemplate a good .. like escape plan, that's why I am making this post. In the meanwhile I continue the same old routine unable to almost meet my GF's eyes, yet she seem strangely not noticing any change and looking quite happy. On top of that you probably can guess how I feel being at school, knowing there's a decent change she's out hooking up. It just all crushing my selfesteem yet I feel stuck in the routine and my head.
TLDR: GF is cheating, doesn't know I know, because I am scared to confront her since I have nowhere to go if I'd move out.

Made it to Diamond on the EU server as a light main, who would also play medium in order to avoid a double light composition. Here are some key observations. Please note that they are personal, and they reflect my experience with the game. If your experience happens to differ, that's understandable and statistically possible.
• More often than not, clicking "play again" after a game ends, will place you with the exact same teammates as the last game. This would happen so often, that it became a habit of mine to wait approximately 10 minutes before queuing for a match if I was not satisfied with my last team.
• Above Platinum 2, the game would at times feel like a closed community game. I would frequently be matched against people on my friend list that I would have added the day before, and I would also frequently spot players I had a hard time with the other day. This is not a phenomenon that would occur on a single session, but a continuous thing that would happen throughout my ranked grind. It led to lot of wholesome moments when I would be matched with players I had a blast with days ago, but also animosities with current teammates that were past sweaty enemies that I had big rivalries with.
• There's a lot of toxicity towards light players. No one wants a light player in their team, and many are willing to offensively voice this in the character selection, and are also willing to trollpick if you don't comply with their requests. Many duo premades would also frequently switch to light the moment I would switch to my light character. I essentially overcame this by queuing as medium, and then switching to my light class at the last possible moment.
• The game (Like most games at this time) is infested with... People with illegal chairs. I'm glad if your experience doesn't reflect this, but this was my experience. There's many people soft wall hacking, which is very annoying but possible to deal with, and there's also many blatant aimbotters. The latest security patch did improve things for a day or two, now it's at a bad state once again. A thing that did change, is that the detection seems to be faster, because many aimbotters will be unranked players in a diamond lobby, whereas this didn't use to be the case. If you spot any hackers, make sure you communicate with your team that your goal for the game will be to avoid that team at all costs and aim for a second place finish. (Quick note, for your own safety and understanding of how these people operate, you should research on your own to learn how these people hide their paid software, how they use their software, as well as to understand the capabilities of the software. A thing I was personally blown away with was a free example of such software on a popular site that was uploaded less than a month ago was sitting at 75000 downloads a few days ago. 75 thousand downloads in less than a month, on a platform with 10k daily peak players. This is not aimed towards embark, they're aware and doing their best and we should support them in this endeavour in every way we can. Spreading awareness is one way to eradicate this problem.

What a nightmare.
So, my story and process is very similar to this thread, but I figure it's worth sharing just to give a bit of hope and info on the process.
April 30th, I wake up to find I'm logged out of my Facebook account, and attempts to log back in reveal it's been disabled for inappropriate Instagram content. To appeal, I need to log in to the Instagram account, which is a Vietnamese username I don't recognise. Familiar story to many, I'm sure. This disabled page gives you the option to download some of your Facebook account, and I believe this was key- the access logs show exactly when and where it was hacked.
My own Instagram is not suspended, but has been unlinked from two accounts at the same time- I assume the hacker's IG and my Facebook.
Fruitlessly search Facebook's FAQs, end up here. Email the support addresses that are listed, no reply at all.
Get Meta Verified through IG to communicate with a human, at £9.99/month. Thinking about it, I should cancel that now.
Go through Meta Verified to communicate the Facebook issue. Raised approximately 20 tickets, but actually found that replying to the same one was more effective in getting replies. Each and every time, they send me links to the Facebook pages that do not work. The loop. I cannot upload ID to verify my identity as it wants me to log in, I cannot log in because it's disabled. I also, as stated, cannot appeal through IG by logging in to the hacker's IG. Each and every time, they try to close the ticket. Replying reopens it.
Eventually, I was escalated to a manager. I work in customer service, I know they'll all have scripts to follow and limits to what they can do. At no point am I getting angry or abusive, but I am making it clear that I have repeated the process, and I screenshot everything, showing my attempts to follow their instructions. I ask them for another way to be put through to the appeals team, because their form will not let me. No dice. Dead end after dead end.
So I come here again, and see the EU reporting form:

THIS WORKED.
I received a ticket from a support agent asking me for:

• Username
• Date the account was hacked (attached the access log)
• Current email/phone associated with it
• A new email address, never associated with Facebook

This email was replied to on Thursday 9th. By Sunday 12th, I had received an email at the new email address. This was from the "Facebook Community Operations Team", not Meta Support. They wanted a complete, detailed overview of what had happened, with ID, including the issues I'd encountered trying to report through the Facebook links. This felt like less of a template email reply and that progress was being made.
So I gave it to them. I also gave them some very specific details of the Facebook account- specific photo album names and status updates, information about Events I had previously organised through Facebook, what the banner picture was- anything extra that I thought could sway them to believe I was who I said I was. I underlined how the "permanently disabled after 30 days" part would mean losing all contact with specific people on the account, and I told them I'd travel to Facebook HQ to verify my identity face to face if need be. I didn't know what the hacker may have done with any of those things, but I included anything I thought could be reviewed and proven as true. I again attached the access logs and disabled screenshots.
Within 12 hours I had a reply stating they had secured my account with the new email address and a password reset link. It worked. The EU link through a VPN worked for me.

I appreciate the story probably ends there for most people, but since regaining access, I looked into what had been done by the hacker. They had added someone Vietnamese (themselves?) as a Facebook friend, who I have obviously now reported and blocked. They had not touched my wall, friends, photos or statues.
More importantly, and probably their whole aim, they set up a Facebook Ad Account under my name, and started spamming paid ads for something Vietnamese. They used someone's credit card details to do this, for about US$300- the details were not mine, so I guess someone else got a shock and cancelled the payments when they noticed.
However, my linked PayPal account was listed as a backup payment account, and my home address listed as the business account address. As I did not authorise the payments with PayPal, no funds left the account, and because the payments failed, the ads were suspended- I discovered this from notifications that they had on Facebook.
I am obviously taking steps now to close that Ad Account with Facebook.
And, as far as I can tell, that's it. My Facebook account was a perfectly normal, standard personal account. I'm going to spend today backing up photos on it, because it has made me very aware of just how much I'd have list if I hadn't found a way to resolve this.

Hello everyone !
I don't know if any of you had the same thought as I did but.... man, don't those character sheets for our PCs just suck ? Especially compared to the character sheet of pre-generated character in the starter kit or what ?
Where are the colors and dynamism and fun ?!
Well, I took upon myself to create character sheet modelled after the pre-generated one and I'm giving them to you free of charge, cause I'm just that nice with a little sneak peak !
But wait, there's more ?
YES ! There is !
With my players, we weren't really satisfied with several rules of the game so we created our own homebrew rules for a couple things and due to that, I started creating original character sheet. It's still a WIP that needs to be a bit more refining regarding the overall aesthetic but all the element and composition of the sheet are already there so you can take a look. I even added the Scribus file in it if any of you want to have fun and change stuff to match your games.
As for our homebrew rules, here is what we changed :

• The Basic Technique Ready was found redundant so we completely changed it to instead allow the players to block 2 fatigues against them or a near ally, which gives them a proper defense basic technique
• Conditions now affect directly any characteristic roll instead of simply affecting the Moves and are stackable ! For example, a character with the conditions Angry has now a -1 in Creativity and Harmony instead of just Guide and Comfort and Assess a Situation. Why ? Well, those two characteristics are linked to Evade and Observe, and a character that is angry would by all logic be less able to Evade and more likely to attack. Conditions now have not only an effect outside of combat but also during exchange !
• In most era, money isn't much of an issue, but when you play in the Era of Korra, money is quite important, even if it's just to bribe someone or buy a car, so we added a "Wealth" category. It is empty, to let people decide on how they want to handle it, but we're most likely going to go with level of wealth rather than keeping track of currency
• Aside from Basic Techniques, we split the Fatigue into two : Fatigue and Chi ! Now, techniques (outside from basic) will require Chi to be used as a cost and will inflict fatigue instead having fatigue as both cost and damage. And to make it more interesting, instead of having simply 5 points of each, now Fatigue and Chi are based on your characteristics with Fatigue being equal to 4+Creativity+Focus and Chi being equal to 4 + Passion + Harmony. This will allow a bit more personalization being characters !

Of course, like I said those are homebrew, you don't have to follow them and you have access to the template file so you can change whatever you want.

The tensions with Opposing Empire have gone beyond mere mutual enmity. This is a conflict of economies, ideologies, and clandestine efforts, fought across our empires in the hearts and minds of our citizens. With some carelessness, or perhaps deliberate actions, it could quickly become a full-fledged military conflict.
^{(Note: this is a sneak peak into a larger Diplomacy DLC concept I am designing. Also disclaimer: I am not a game designer, I intentionally did not provide numbers, just ideas! Feel free to suggest or criticize.})
When two empires are Rivals a while, both sides will have the option to escalate the Rivalry into a Cold War, which costs Influence. If either side does this, a Situation that is shared and progressed by both sides is created. This situation is intended to provide more RP and mechanical freedom for empires to either diplomatically mend relations, prepare a leadup to war, or perhaps make gains without resorting to warfare.
Cold Wars, like many situations currently in the game, operate on a line between two endpoints, representing the tensions between the two empires: Reconciliation (-100) to War (100).
By default, the Situation will start at 0 and remain stagnant in the middle. Both sides will have access to four Approaches which have different bonuses and effects on the Situation:

• Seek De-Escalation: costs Unity to upkeep. Increases Opinion of the opposing empire, and progresses the Situation towards Reconciliation. (Our simmering conflict with Opposing Empire must be reconsidered. We will extend diplomatic tendrils in hopes of reducing tensions and reconciling our two empires.)
• Maintain Status Quo: costs no upkeep, has no effect. (The current friction with Opposing Empire works to our advantage. We will focus on our own affairs.)
• Clandestine Effort: costs low Energy Creds to upkeep. Moderately decreases the cost of running Spy Operations in the target empire and slightly increases their effectiveness. Slowly progresses the Situation towards War. (We have no desire for a large scale armed conflict with Opposing Empire at this time- instead, we will use... other methods to improve our position.)
• Prepare for Hostilities: costs more Energy Creds to upkeep. Increases Military Ship and Defense Platform build speed, and more quickly progresses the Situation towards War. (We have had enough of the thinly veiled hostilities with Opposing Empire. War is inevitable- and we will lay the groundwork for victory!)

Progress: there are also other factors which will influence the progress of this situation:

• Either side being Militarist or Xenophobe will add base progress towards War, increased if Fanatic.
• Insults will bump the scale towards War.
• Military buildup/border friction, as well as the currently existing Conduct Fleet Exercises event, will move the scale towards War.
• The opinion of either side decreasing further (ex. Harm Relations) will move the scale towards War- this also means a 3rd party could use Spy operations, like the existing Diplomatic Incident or Smear Campaign, to push the outbreak of hostilities!
• New Cassus Belli gained by either side against the other will push the scale towards War- for example, taking a Civic that grants CB, or becoming a Hegemon. So will Declaring War on a Vassal or Ally (provided this doesn't immediately pull the empire in).
• HOWEVER:
• Either side being Pacifist or Xenophile will add base progress towards Reconciliation, increased if Fanatic.
• Cassus Belli becoming invalid will push the scale towards Reconciliation- for example, Impose Ideology becomes invalid if the target adopts matching Ethics.
• Improving Relations by any means will move the scale towards Reconciliation. Eventually, Embassies and other Diplomatic actions can end the Cold War.
• De-Escalation can be traded under Actions- normally, Rival AI empires will never be willing to trade, but an exception can be made here, to for example allow one side to Trade systems, resources, etc as concessions in exchange for X progress towards De-Escalation. The AI may offer such deals if Inferior or Pathetic, and may request concessions to reduce tensions if Superior or Overwhelming.

Events: as with most Situations, the Cold War could feature various events for RP and mechanical purposes. Here are some examples I thought up:

• Fraternization with the Enemy (either empire is some degree of Spiritualist, Xenophile or Pacifist): Despite the tensions with Opposing Empire, news reports and viral videos have recently been circulating of groups of both Our Species and Their Species activists united in song and demonstration on multiple planets. Apparently, these individuals seek an end to the hostility between our empires.
  • [Support these noble and righteous souls.] - bumps the scale towards Reconciliation. Gain temporary Ethics attraction for the corresponding Ethic.
  • [Ignore these misguided fools.] - situation does not change. Gain temporary Happiness debuff for pops of the the responsible Ethic.
  • (Militarist, Xenophobe, or Authoritarian) - [Arrest as many of the wicked traitors as we can identify!] - costs Influence, bumps the scale towards War. Gain temporary Ethics attraction for the Ethic you used to take this choice.
• Arms Race Breakthrough (is currently using the Prepare for Hostilities approach, increased chance if Materialist or Technocracy): Amidst the large-scale preparations for possible conflict with Opposing Empire, a small team of scientists has independently developed a new military technology and presented it to our government for use.
  • [Excellent.] - bumps the scale towards War, and gain a low-mid tier military tech that was not yet researched. If no valid options, gain some Engineering research instead.
• Pro-War Rally (has any Xenophobe or Militarist leader): Recently, in front of massive crowds on Planet Name, Leader Name delivered a rousing speech extolling the glorious virtues of Our Empire and denouncing the horrific threat presented by Opposing Empire. It would seem many have been swept up in this pro-war fervor and are demanding action from our government. However, foreign emissaries and more moderate elements have cautioned against supporting such explosive, radical rhetoric.
  • [We stand with Leader Name! To war!] - bumps the scale towards War, changes our approach to Prepare for Hostilities if it isn't already, and gain Unity and temporary Ethics Attraction to Leader Name's Ethics. BUT reduces the Opinion of Opposing Empire and any empires Cordial or friendlier to them.
  • [Heads must be kept cool, and Leader Name must be reprimanded.] - costs Influence, but the situation does not change.

And now, for the conclusions of the situation:
Reconciliation Finisher (or if empires somehow become overlord/vassal or allies via external circumstances)
Both Empires get the Event: De-Escalation Successful
In a significant diplomatic achievement, the heated tensions with Opposing Empire have been comprehensively defused! Perhaps this will pave the way for friendlier relations and better days ahead.
If the Situation reaches Reconciliation, the Cold War and Rivalry will immediately be ended, with all their bonuses and effects. Both empires will gain a moderate lump sum of Influence and Unity, as well as a small burst of increased Opinion for each other.

• [That was a close one.] - default option, overwritten by others if applicable
• (Pacifist or Xenophile) [A glorious day!] - the rewards are increased
• (Militarist or Xenophobe) [Disappointing.] - the rewards are decreased

War Finisher (or if empires are pulled in by other factors)
Both Empires get the Event: Cold War Turns Hot
The heated tensions with Opposing Empire have ignited! Negotiations have broken down, and fierce border skirmishes have erupted. The truth is now undeniable: we are at war.
If the Situation reaches War, the Cold War and Rivalry will transform into an actual, normal war. Both empires will gain a small lump sum of Influence and Unity and will have a window to pick from their available Cassus Belli and call in allies before the battle begins.

• [To battle stations!] - default option, overwritten by others if applicable
• (Pacifist or Xenophile) [Well, we tried...] - the rewards are decreased
• (Militarist or Xenophobe) [Long have we waited for this moment!] - the rewards are increased

i’ll give y’all the story. i’m sorry if i confuse anyone due to my typing or errors. basically when i was younger i did something and started seeing everything in 3rd person no not literally 3rd person but that’s how it felt and my body felt like it was floating in space but space was made out of thick water, i ended up sleeping it off about 3 hours later and the next day i felt weird like my body was moving without me in it i ended up telling my legal guardians at the time and within the midst of me telling them how i felt i started crying and hyperventilating and finally i was okay but still felt weird i later found out from my doctor it was anxiety and i lived with that anxiety for 3 years until about 4 days ago.
so about 4 days ago i was hanging out with my friends and started to feel that same feeling i got when i did that bad thing those 3 years ago i immediately started panicking a little and went home when i got home i felt better to an extent until the next day. i felt like i was falling, like every individual thing in the world was moving slowly at its own pace, i felt like i didn’t know who i was, i didn’t know my purpose, i couldn’t look myself in the mirror, i can’t leave the house, my arms and legs feel numb on the inside but on the inside i can feel everything, i constantly feel nauseous and sick. the only time i’m okay is when i’m asleep also forgot to mention when i wake up i’m still tired, i can’t concentrate on anything and when i do i start to visualize things that don’t exist.

I've been lurking here since I uploaded my first video on YT, and I've found some of your threads here useful. So I thought I'd give back with a write up on my monetization journey, which, although not lightning fast, has been medium-fast (two months and two weeks from my first upload).
Who am I?
I'm a fashion photographer, with 10+ years of experience in my main field, and 3+ years of experience in the generative AI field. I started working with generative AI for a project with Vogue Italia right before the main publicly available applications were released to the wider public (Dall-E, MidJourney, Stable Diffusion), and since then my work has been a mix of traditional photography and generative AI. And that's why I became a part-time Tuber.
Finding a niche
While I was implementing gen AI more and more in my fashion photography works, I was struggling to find professionally oriented tutorials on YT. There's a ton of content about gen AI, covering news, tools, and starting out with it, but there was close to no in-depth, real-world use cases focused tutorials. So I though - hey, I'm using it in my own works. I know a ton of fellow professionals who can use it too. I can't be the only one looking for this kind of content. Maybe I should create that content myself.
Now, I don't know what you're interested in, but in order to find a niche, I'd do the same: find something you like and know about, and check if there's some aspects of it which no one covers, and you know you can cover yourself.
From the comments and commission requests I've gotten in two months, I was right. Which leads us to...
Offering value
My content is long and incredibly tedious. Honestly, it's quite boring to the layman. But it's necessary for anyone who wants to learn something applicable in their own field *or* anyone who wants to start using AI tools in their own traditional workflows, so I realized those are my audience.
To those people, I'm offering value, even if the videos are long and boring. But it's the fact that they're long and boring that's giving me an edge. Let me explain how.
Basically, from the first video, I had to choose if:

• I wanted to go straight to the point and show how things were done with the tools I was using, and show real life examples, or;
  
• I wanted to spend the necessary time to explain to anyone, even those who had no skillset in the tools I was using, how things were done.
  

I decided to go with the latter. My videos are complete tutorials, A to Z, made for people who know basically nothing about generative AI, guiding them from knowing nothing to doing exactly what I'm doing, explaining how I set up things and, most importantly, why I do it the way I do it.
Now, I needed a way to not lose the attention of people who already knew how to go from A to G, but not from G to Z, so in the first minute or so I always say something along the lines of "ok, so now I'm going to build all of my workflow from scratch, so if you're not interested in how and why it works this way, you can find the timestamps here and jump ahead to the demonstration segment".
This works, and it's why my watch curve looks like a "U". A good 25-30% of people are interested in the "how it's done", while 35-40% are interested in "what it looks like".
The only negative comment I've ever received on my format, which was something like "dude, you're too slow", was followed by a comment, a month later, by the same user, saying "I get now why you're slow, not everyone's at the same level. Please disregard my previous comment".
Strategy
Overall, I upload weekly, same day, same time, unless:

• I want to stream (unscheduled, spur of the moment short streams, around 2 hours each);
  
• something huge has come out in my niche and needs to be covered as soon as possible.
  

I don't post shorts anymore, since:

• I'm not good at making them;
  
• I don't like making them;
  
• they don't provide value to my core audience.
  

The long term goal is to find new clients for my day job, and to do consulting work on the side, given that my audience perceive me as an expert in my field.
Metrics
Now, I think that the metrics I've seen both here and in the Partnered sub are completely skewed towards niches that are not appliable to me or fellow tutorial YouTubers, or for this sub in particular, are skewed towards creators who don't have large view counts.
20-30% CTR? 50% AVD? These kind of numbers, to me, would mean that I struck gold and I created something that was flying off the shelves like cakes during the French revolution (even if that never happened). Or, most likely, that no one is watching my content expect for my most hardened userbase, *and* YT didn't push the video at all to outside audiences.
My usual metrics, which are a direct result of both my very niche content and the nature of my content (tutorials), are around 8-10% CTR and 12-18% AVD. And the videos with these metrics get pushed, hard, to outside audiences.
I think YT's algorithm kind of understands that my content is not meant to be watched from start to finish, and that my audience is very selective of what it's useful to them. So either it doesn't care about the usual metrics I see thrown around here, or those metrics are inflated.
I also think (but again, sample size=1, me) that YT kind puts each and every one of us into a "box" of sorts, in terms of how much it wants to push our content. At first, my videos had a max impressions of around 10k. Nowadays, it's more in the realm of 50-200k, and it's reflected in the amount of impressions my newest videos get when they're published. The curves all look the same until one video breaks out, and a new standard is expected out of my next videos.
Also, each video is their own thing. If a video's CTR tanks in the first few hours, I can expect it to not reach the same audience that my most successful videos reach in the same amount of time, and that's because...
YouTube wants people to see (your) videos
Well, maybe not *your* videos, and maybe not *all* your videos, but the way YT works is opposite of the way IG works, for example. While IG has no monetary incentives to pushing free content, and has to push paid content in between free content, YouTube makes money out of people seeing free content, because the paid content (ADs) is embedded into the free content (videos).
So if your video is good, YT has no issues pushing it. If your video is not good, too bad, there's another content creator in your niche who has a better video, so let's push their video instead.
By providing value to your viewers, you're providing value to YouTube and their ADs, so either you and YT win, or another content creator and YT win. In the eyes of YT, everybody wins all the time.
Increasing CTR
If you're like me, you know, in your heart of hearts, that a catchy title and a great thumbnail are as important as the content of your video. If you're like me, the thumbnail's the last thing you prepare, and we're both wrong.
Seriously, get good at creating good thumbnails. Since I've started focusing more on thumbnails, my CTR has gotten, if not better in the long run (since all videos default to kind of the same CTR the longer the video has been out for and the wider the audience is), better in the first few hours and days, which increases the audience drastically.
I know this is a boring part of the creative process, but get good at it.
Also, experiment with multiple thumbnails during the first hours when a video has been published. A thumbnail you expected to do well might not be as catchy as you thought. Try 3 or 4 different thumbnails and see what sticks.
Increasing AVD
Now in my case I can't do much about it, since the format I've chosen is kind of non-negotiable and it's what brings value at the expense of AVD, but if you're:

• seeing a sharp decrease in viewers around the 00:30 mark, work on your intros and get straight into the action;
  
• seeing a below 30% retention rate throughout the video, either there was no need for this content, or you're not covering it well enough (or you're not engaging enough);
  
• overall, give the viewers a reason to stay engaged throughout the different sections of the video.
  

Streaming
I discovered streaming way too late, and I wish I did it way earlier. It would have had me monetized at least a couple of weeks sooner.
But in order to do it well, you need:

• a good userbase who wants to extract more infos and values from things you're not covering in your uploads;
  
• the skillset necessary to basically host a mini-show.
  

The latter is the hardest part, and I only know how to do it because I'm used to giving speeches and lessons. But, like all skills, it's not something you're born with, it's something you train and get good at, so if you're into it try it and get better at it over time.
Equipment
I'm lucky enough to have a day job that covers most of the equipment needed. My camera and lenses are the same I'm using for my day job, I already had a mic, my PC is an absolute beast because of the generative AI work I do, so I think I spent like 20 bucks for a mic arm and that's it.
In anyone else's case, though, the most important things to invest in is:

• a good mic, since audio quality is more important than video quality (tons of people have terrible displays, but tons of people like to hear nice audio);
  
• 8 hours in DaVinci Resolve, and I swear you don't even need the full 8 hours, you just need to understand how to trim, cut and paste clips, how to improve your audio, and how to export files;
  
• only then, and maybe, a good enough camera, good lighting (my light is literally an ikea lamp with a 5 bucks white scrim on it, I just know how to make it look good because of my day job), minimum hardware.
  

Final considerations
Some of you may have more trouble with subs, some with watch hours (in my case, I got 2.5k subs before I reached my watch hours goal), some of you may find trouble expressing yourselves in front of the camera, or talking well, or may prefer scripts rather than talking freely while doing things, but all in all:

• do what you're good at;
  
• improve what you're lacking in;
  
• know what's useless to improve.

I am not sure how to put this to a stop, as not acting upon the respective intrusive thoughts makes me go through almost panic-like fear of spreading supposed "germs" to others or getting "infected".

I believe a similar post had already existed here before, but I've been kind of having this extremely weird paranoid obsession with cleaning everything and the lengths I go to fulfill it might be putting my physical health to a potential risk.
Every time when I touch (or get touched) by an object that is perceived by me to be "dirty" (as in, covered in germs) or, otherwise, of unknown cleanliness, I immediately start cleaning my body part that came in contact with it, usually the hands. The problem is that the methods I utilize to do so do not limit themselves to just rushing to the nearest bathroom and washing my hands with water and soap, but rather involve highly toxic cleaning substances.
One of these chemical substances are Clorox wipes, which are based on bleach and contain a significant amount of different toxic ingredients apart from it. These wipes are meant to be for cleaning surfaces and possess no harm in such case, but their use on human skin is highly discouraged, as it might lead to a burn. This, however, hasn't stopped me from doing otherwise.
Even though I consciously understand the risks involved using such product on the human body, I keep using them, as if I don't, I start getting instrusive thoughts of getting "infected" and/or potentially spreading germs to others or something. These intrusive thoughts essentially lead me to using exclusively Clorox, as even regular hand-washing doesn't stop this crazy obsession (in this case, I start panicking that the regular soap and water combo is not enough + for body parts that aren't arms, I am basically either forced to go take a full-blown shower or rely on a portable solution instead).
One of these examples would be me using Clorox wipes on my hair and head because I was taking a taxi and as I was putting on my hood it supposedly touched the seats (!!). No matter how absurd this might sound, not acting upon this thought immediately leads to more of those springing up until the rest of my day.
Recently I used Clorox on a part of my foot (as I tripped on my shoes at home by accident as I was roaming the corridor) and I did indeed get a proper burn. The part of the skin affected does not feel any touch anymore as a result and is bright red and painful. Because of the pain and of the fact that pressing on it makes it temporarily white immediately, it certainly is no third-degree burn and is not really much to worry about.
However, this situation is already a huge warning to me that I better quit with Clorox wipes and stop using any cleaning products not meant for the skin entirely, especially now that I've overused them literally as I've been applying them to different body parts every single day.
Yet I don't know how to stop - even consciously understanding all the risks involved, I literally cannot stop using those as otherwise I get stressed and start panicking and combating so is a struggle on its own that takes a solid few hours just to calm down to the slightest to avoid acting upon intrusive cleaning obsession thoughts.
I wonder what could be some good ways to put this to a stop. Not buying Clorox is a good option, but it doesn't help with the intrusive thoughts and the overall low mood as follows. I used to be able to distract myself with something else in the past to make these go away, but it is becoming harder to do so with every single day.
