(I’m writing this about 10 minutes after waking up)
In the dream, i was living in my neighbours and bestfriends house, with my family and a older woman that wasnt my grandma but in the dream she was my grandma.
First part of the dream: I only remember that my mother was working in a haunted Normal shop. The co workers told me that it was haunted and they need to keep eye on breaking ins and other suspicious happening. And it was like a night shift so there wasnt any customers. Well there wasnt any ghosts but little snakes crawling everywhere including my legs. Suddenly there is this on big anaconda that is complitely black, head was as big as pitbulls. It seemed to be everywhere like i was and liked me because it softly scratched my hand like a dog when they take care of you.
Second part: Suddenly the whole scene ended, like a movie scene was set to different place. I was now in my own house and this time there was my sisters, ”grandma” and father. My grandma has just snapped and locked herself in my room, and switched every furnitures like bed and table and closet. Then i suddenly am in a different scene with only my grandma, in our road at night. See sits on the side of the road and throws my computer screen to the ground, and puts gasoline on it. I try to move the computer away from her so she doesnt catch on fire but she was faster and a little part of my hair catches on fire, she then screams ”if i cant get to Eurovision, you cant either!” (In our language she meant as performing). Then grandma dissapeared and i’m back in the house and there is my whole family, i went to my room and it had changed so much i dont feel safe there so i cry my parents to help me move things back but they only said ”now its not a good time” clearly pissed, so i beg my sister to help me ”i do anything” included in my begging. As we clean things up there is random bags and luggages in the room and some creepy things like hand with eye pops out from under the bed.
The final part: I was also again moved to different scene and now its my neighbours house. The big snake was there again, there was also other animals like dogs and ducks and pinguins. I went to my friends sisters room and there was a machine, like a robot. Straight out of circus, it was one of these fabric pieces that when you go behind it to other side, you switched outfits. At this point i knew The One was going to pop out. The bot moved in a slow pace other side to other changing clothes, and at some point to the left side, there was a black dressed skeleton with long thin horns. Its skull wasnt attached to the body, and it had ancient loose clothes. It looked like black ashed had covered them. But i wasnt scared, and i just close the door as it standed up. We continued to chill in the living room when suddenly the black snake came out of the room and i just pet it. Then i think i woke up
Between all of these parts i was in other city, and with me there was a guy that i talked but he had a girlfriend so i cut contact
As i started to talk about snakes, my texting lags so that it comes delayed

TL;DR I Need help understanding a healthy balance drawing boundaries with elderly parents (living in adjoined mother-in-law suite) and wife, with differing tolerance levels and peeves.
AITAH for addressing the below issues, or for NOT addressing them?
Background:
Parents are late 70s, recently built an attached studio apt into our house due to limited housing options on fixed income.
Wife was very supportive, a saint really. They crashed in our guest room on and off for over a year while it was built.
They have own restroom, kitchen etc, entrance and exit.
Situation:
I feel like the more than overstayed welcome during transition - using our restroom, being fairly overbearing, loud, you know … just old people.
Now, though, I feel like the snakes things they do (that should not be a big issue in my opinion) are really bothering my wife.
Namely: 1. you can hear their TV pretty loudly through the wall, which is a bit obnoxious but in my opinion … i don’t want to ask them to turn it down to a level where they can’t hear it just to not inconvenience us. It feels…wrong. Like, it’s their space. 2. My mom makes breakfast for the boys every morning, and waits outside all morning to catch us on the way to work/school and give it to them. Sounds sweet, and it is, but it’s a LOT on the morning. She is big manic energy, and it feels like a well-intentioned ambush. When we’re in a hurry in the morning, we don’t want to interact at that level all the time… but, it feels unreasonable to even try to address this. What do I say, “we don’t want to see you in the morning cuz we’re in a hurry, go inside” of course not… 🤷🏻‍♂️
I’ve addressed the bigger issues: don’t just let yourself in our house. Don’t use the common door into our living area unless emergency. Don’t come over to our house with sweets and bs food every day because it undermines how we feed our kids … etc.
Question:
Wife and I have had our guest disagreements ever in our relationship lately, around these issues.
I want to wait a while and let the dust settle before stressing more and addressing issues stated above. See how things shakes out, mainly because I feel the inconvenience we are feeling pales in comparison to the hurt feelings / ask I would have if my parents to address it.
Issue is, it’s weighing on my wife, and she feels (I think) like my inaction is placing their needs above ours, or that these are minor issues I shouldn’t have a problem bringing up to them.
What would you do? Am I the asshole?

My neighbor and her boyfriend agreed to check in on my two small dogs daily for five days while I am out of town on business.
My dogs have a doggy door and a large yard. They have large food and water bowls. I occasionally leave them alone for one night but never more. This time I will be gone five nights.
Neighbor is late 30s, seems eclectic, blue hair & tattoos, has dogs/cats/chickens, has a garden, works full-time in the corporate world, makes homemade jams & such to sell on the side. Her boyfriend is a fireman. That is about all I know, aside from their names and the cars they drive.
They live directly across the street from me. I have lived here 18 months.
I will leave at least $100 cash but also want to leave a nice, creative gift.

Trigger warning - religious differences
I always bragged about how awesome my extended family was. NO family is perfect, but I heard horror stories and always counted my blessings that I had strong ties with my Aunt and uncles since I was raised an only child. That was until a few months ago when my last living Aunt, whom I considered a second mom, shattered me.
Ok, some backstory here. My aunt is a Jehovah’s Witness. Now before you get all judgy, I have always loved her, my uncle and her son with all of my heart. I still do. I respect that they have found faith and live by this code on the daily. I have met many people from their congregation and loved them all (ok, a couple of exceptions). I also appreciate the community they have and love they all show each other. If it weren’t for the religion itself, I would have converted.
I, however, am pagan and have always been since I was about 5 (even the first book I signed out from the school’s library was about witchcraft). Not raised that way, but always found spiritual comfort in nature and the natural world. I have a very strong connection and dedication to my Powers That Be and work every day to help the world be a better place. My Aunt did not know my religion until about 7 years ago. That being said, she and I would have very philosophical conversations when we hung out together. Even at the age of 8, I would listen to her preach to me and ask questions to which she never had answers. I remember her telling me how only 144,000 people would be allowed in heaven and didn’t I think that would be wonderful knowing that our whole family could be together again after we died. We’d all be in heaven if we were all Jehova;s witnesses. I had gone with her many times to do field service (door to door) and asked her why they do that if there’s only a certain number of people allowed. Didn’t that lessen her chances of getting in because I’m sure there were many people more deserving than myself. How did she know for sure she’d be one of the ones to get in and was that fair to keep bringing people into the religion when all the spaces were probably already filled up?
At 8 years old, I had many questions and was just trying to figure these things out. Since she was an adult, I figured she had the answers. My questions were not with malice, just for a want of better understanding. When she didn’t have the answers, I'd ask my mother and grandmother. While they were extremely amused, they said they never understood either. They never said anything bad about her or her attempts to get them to convert, just allowed me to explore religion and spirituality as I wished so I could make my own decision of what was right for me.
Once I was an adult, I avoided talking to her about religion, but found that if I didn’t ask questions and just let her talk, it made her happy. I know she’s a good person at heart and that’s all that matters. After my Mom passed, my aunt and I talked almost every week. I loved talking to her and she became even more like a mom to me. She gave me encouragement and we supported each other through health and emotional crises. I’d make it a point to try and visit at least once a year for a few days so she could visit with my daughter and I. We’d always do lunch with her friends and I loved it. I fell in love with some of the people in her congregation and wished we could live closer to hang out more. I, however, never wavered on my spiritual beliefs, but I have never cared about the religion, race, or sexuality of anyone. If we got along, we were friends and that was that.
My aunt and I had come to an understanding that I would not convert and that we would love and respect each other regardless. Religious talk was off the table for the most part until both of my uncles (my aunt’s two brothers) passed and she had a very hard time dealing with it. She was the last surviving sibling and she was sinking into a depression. I’d talk to her at length and listen to her as she mourned the fact that she would never have contact with them (and my mom) in heaven because they never converted. When she asked me what I believed, I told her that I believed that the soul lived on after the body died and that I believed in reincarnation. I explained my beliefs were closer to hindu and buddhism than christianity (so she had context). We had very long talks and she expressed that she respected my views and actually found comfort in talking with me.
That was until my daughter and I opened our store about 3 years ago. It’s a metaphysical shop and we have crystals, teas, gifts, jewelry, candles and more (about 10% strict;y pagan). My aunt was happy for us until it dawned on her that we might sell pagan stuff. I told her what we sold and she asked me if I was a witch. I replied that I suppose that was one way to describe me, but, again, I considered myself spiritual and that I followed a path closer to buddhism, hinduism, native american. I sent a couple of pictures of the jewelry that we made and she said when we came down, we should bring the jewelry making.
We did, I brought down our best crystals to wrap and bracelet materials and my daughter and I made her a necklace with a very expensive stone (A $200 piece). She brought her friends over and they picked out crystals that they wanted, made bracelets and such. We had fun and I was happy to do it, though I wasn’t expecting people that I had never met before. Still, we had fun. My daughter and I also brought her a basket with local items from our hometown, (Raw honey, handmade stoneware mugs, cutting board, herbal tea and some other items made by us as well) She was thrilled. My aunt and uncle had taken a couple of bad falls a few months before and so my daughter and I made them hand carved cedar walking sticks as well because we knew they went for regular walks and thought it would help their balance. It felt amazing to lavish expensive and heartfelt gifts on them as I has struggled so long with money. I was finally in a place that I could do it. To say the gifts probably totalled in excess of 1K is on the low side, but I was still happy to do it.
Besides the fact that they tried converting my daughter when I wasn’t around, it was a lovely visit. The only problem I had was with a new person my aunt introduced us to. This woman, we’ll call her Dee, ignored me and only talked to my daughter. She was my age if not older, but conversed with my daughter, 17, like I wasn’t there. They traded contact info and Dee insisted that they keep in touch while my daughter was in college. Dee said she was going to keep an eye on her. I thought that was odd, but I did enjoy the feeling of having an extended family sort of since I actually had no family besides my Aunt.
Let’s jump forward to the following year and we were struggling financially. Not horrible, but unable to lavish the gifts that we did the year before. Instead, I created a beautiful aromatherapy candle, some delicious herbal teas and we found a couple of very rare antique tea cups that had amazing value to them (about $100 a piece). We made a basket for her and I decided we would cook for them. (gluten free, soy free, dairy free etc). Our visit went so well, it was great to see them. We just enjoyed hanging out with them and talking. They loved the meal we made for them and the dairy free organic chocolate I made. Everything was great until the day we were leaving. Dee showed up and again ignored me, talked to my daughter and chastised her for getting a pet snake as that was an animal associated with the devil. My daughter is one to push the envelope a bit and said how she wanted to get a tattoo as well, one of a snake. Both my aunt and Dee were shocked and said she should never get a tattoo.. Again related to the devil, I went to the bathroom as I was not involved in the conversation and knew my daughter could hold her own. Little do they know that my daughter is also trans. I told her not to say anything to them just yet. I came back to them talking about how college was going and I thought my aunt and Dee would faint when she said her college roommate was male. She quickly explained that it was fine because he was gay and how awesome he was (he is btw). She quickly realized what I meant when she saw their reaction to him being gay. It wasn’t that she was living with a boy, it was that he was gay and “why did he choose to be gay.” I tried redirecting the conversation a couple of times, but they ignored me.
They finally let it go, but just after Dee left, we were getting ready to depart as well. My aunt returned the basket I made for her (minus the expensive tea cups). She said she could not accept them as they were touched by the devil. Shocked, I asked what she meant. She said that because they came from my store, they carried Satan's influence and she could not have them in our home. Truthfully, I explained that I made those items for her and that the only things that came from the store were the teacups. She was confused why I had gotten upset. When I explained that I gave her a gift and if she didn’t want it, she could regift it or throw it away. That gift came from my heart with all the love I have for her and that I didn't need to know her opinions about the gifts because It insinuated I, myself, was evil and it was extremely hurtful. She basically continued on insisting that I was just not aware of how much Satan had a hold of me. All I could do was tell her how much I loved her and leave.
I didn’t take her calls and cried about this for over a month. I finally felt strong enough to talk to her and again she insisted that because those items touched my hands, they were influenced by satan and she wished I could understand how they just can’t have that influence in their home. Frustrated, I asked how she could shop at grocery stores or buy anything from department stores because she can’t guarantee that those items didn’t touch hands that were influenced by satan. Also , I asked her how they could have eaten the food I prepared for them and why did they even invite me into their home to begin with if that’s the way she felt about me. She suddenly needed to go.
We talked a few times since then but it always came back to religion. At one point I asked her again why she would even invite us to her home if she felt that way. Her response was to save my daughter. The pain and heartache she has inflicted is immense, but I cannot bring myself to argue the point because I’m afraid if I make my point to her, it will break her. She’s in her 80’s and I believe has the beginnings of dementia. Her religion brings her comfort and I don’t want to say anything that might make her doubt her religion at her advanced age.
I’ve decided it is probably best for both of our mental health to stop all contact with her( with the exception of sending cards telling them how much I love them) even though I’ve always seen her as a second mom. AITA for making this decision and not trying to work things out with her or allow her to believe that I still might convert?

I have never felt like I needed to hide any part of me from my friends, family, and the public in general. Not until now. Buckle up, this is a bumpy ride.
I've always been kind hearted, almost to a flaw. I took care of my grandmother, my step-dad, my mom and helped with a family friend during long term and terminal illnesses. I had my daughter and, without her father's help, raised her on my own with very little to no support. I helped friends with their farm who left me homeless in the end because I want interested in an extramarital affair. I lost my home and all that I loved including my husband because he lied to me and never paid it mortgage while I was recovering from an illness. In short, I have had a tough life, but it has never made me turn my back on anyone who needed help or in difficult family when they were ignored by the others. That's just some background before I tell you this situation.
Three years ago, after a bout of covid, my daughter was suicidal. She had been in the top three of her HS class and yet at that point almost failed her junior year. Not knowing if she would have the emotional strength to face college and adulting in general, I set up a plan B for her. I started a store in her name and that way she'd have something at least to fall back on if she was unable to function in the m-f 9 to 5 world. We started slow by doing craft fairs, seeking crystals, candles, jewelry, and gifts. We were kicked out of one because the person running it assumed we were witches. She was not wrong exactly as we identified as pagan, but we lived our life closest to the Buddhist and Hindu traditions, not traditional wicca. These were people who knew us for years and were considered acquaintances if not friends.
Our business flourished and we ended up opening our brick and mortar that fall after remodeling our garage/ barn and turning it into a store front. Even though I run it for my daughter, it is hers and we work together to keep it going.
In the past few years I've lost my mom, and two uncles. I have no family besides my mother's sister and her husband which we were pretty close. My aunt knew that I was pagan and had tried recruiting me into her religion since I was 5. Even at that tender age her religion never made sense and I would ask her questions to which she never had answers. I accepted her and respected her and her religion even though I didn't agree. I loved the people she introduced me to that were in her church and I always got along with them. That is until we visited the year after we started our store. My aunt was thrilled about us bringing crystals down and making jewelry with her. We met a new friend of hers (middle aged woman) who ignored me completely and oozed affection on my daughter. She got my daughter's contact info and contacted her frequently. Trying to convert and ”save” her. My daughter wasn't having it as even though she was in a delicate state, she is very level headed and strong willed.
This year we visited and we brought herbal tea, candies, and rare vintage tea cups for my aunt. The day we were leaving, she handed back everything but the vintage tea cups and told me she couldn't accept them because they were touched by Satan (aka made by my hands). To say I was devastated is an understatement. This woman was always like a second mom to me and we had grown closer after my mom passed away. It was a 20 hour drive home and I cried most of the way. I cried for weeks after a well. Thinking of it now still brings me tears. As she was telling me that Satan had a hold on me and that she was trying to save me, all I did was remind her how much I loved her and my uncle. Every time since then that we have talked, she says the same thing, but now she told me I was a lost cause. I feel like trying to stay in touch is detrimental to her mental health ( and my own). I don't want to give up or abandon the last of my family, but I can't talk to her and endure the endless insinuations that I'm evil because I don't believe in her religion. She took a bad fall and broke her arm. The last time we spoke, she talked as if it was my fault for bringing the devil into her home.
While I could usually brush this off as delusional ranting, it hits hard because the same day she fell, my dad died. I know the Powers That Be only give as much as we can handle, I just wish they didn't have so much faith in me.
They are in their 80s. I know in all the pieces of my broken heart that they'll never be able to accept my daughter and I unless we change religions and it has crossed my mind just to say we have to put her at ease, but I can't lie like that to them and we cannot betray ourselves like that either. So, I made the mistake of not training our boy, Ozzie, bathtime routine when he was a puppy. He's had baths, but only because he NEEDED them and he was too small to do anything about it. (Deep bathtub)
Now, despite being well brushed and having his nails clipped, he is a DUSTY boy. So dusty that it falls off him when I pat his fur. This is not good. He cannot be on the couch like this. He loves the couch and is already highly emotional. He would whine if our elderly chihuahua was allowed up and not him, it'd simply break his little heart.
Currently? He absolutely HATES water, even when it looks like it simply falls off his coat. I think it's mostly the sound thats scaring him, because on his own terms? He's fine with just SLEEPING out in the rain and snow right next to his doggy door that he could go in at any time he would wish.
It's not that I haven't TRIED to get him in the bath. But he's a little bit more muscular than most shepherds because of the fact he's mixed. His body is a rectangle with muscles at his chest, trained especially by my father who, as a grown nearly 6 foot man, wrestles with him regularly.
However, none of us can lift him. Especially not my 5'1 100lb ass. Brute force is a no-go. And, because my dad also trained him that being pushed, snacked in the face, and corralled in anyway is just another form of rough-housing fun-play, trying to pick him up or pull him in there will likely register as a game. (he's a dad, so he thought that if an intruder got in and tried to hit him, it wouldn't be a problem if he absolutely loved it and thought of it as play! And he absolutely loves trying to tackle my dad, and gets kinda disappointed when he's too gentle, so half points?)
He is, however, EXTREMELY food motivated, and I was able to use a pot of leftover macaroni and cheese (he ran out of his favorite treats) to get him to sit and stay in the bathtub, but as he showed down on his treat that I commanded him to eat slowly, I got too hasty, and turned on the water to fill my cup. I have never seen him so conflicted. He looked at the pot, looked back, looked at the pot and jumped out with such force that I knew that if he could speak, he would be giving me a harsh "fuck you!" For tricking him.
Now my dog is dirty, AND so is my bathtub.
The only alternative i can think of is to wait for the hot summer months where he's panting to try and hose-bath him. But that would be quite a few days where he isn't allowed on the couch, and would only be a bandaid and not a real solution.
So, as my family is out of town and I am 1v1 with the sweetest, most food-loving dummy ever, I would love some tips, tricks, and advice! How did you train your buddies? Did you use force? Was it a multiple day-training battle?
Things I won't try (because there's always that one guy) •mean words in a mean tone of voice (he's sensitive) (and I mean ACTUAL mean words, not command-tone) •showing him 'whose boss' (Not a solution) •picking him up •scaring him! I want to try and make bathtime register as fun, the same way my dad did the same for physical stuff. He's a big, sensitive lover, and I don't want his stinkiness to end up putting a bar in our relationship. He's a good boy, especially for a 1yo!

So guys, today I made a tier list discussing which Pokemon are edible and which are not. I have researched this list to the best of my abilities, but I could be wrong.

Before we get started with this list, we will discuss the five categories. Inedible, Probably Edible, Exotic, Commonly Eaten, and Confirmed to be Eaten. I'm sure that "inedible" and "probably edible" need no explanation, but let's discuss the other three terms.

• "Exotic" means it CAN be eaten and it's SAFE to eat, but people will call you a weirdo for eating these just because it's "not normal".
• "Commonly Eaten" are the kinds of food that NORMIES will eat. Of COURSE you're gonna eat em' if you were asked to. Nobody's gonna say "no" to eating a BIRD!
• "Confirmed to be Eaten" means that no matter HOW WEIRD it is to eat, it CAN be eaten because it has been confirmed to be eaten from POKEMON THEMSELVES!

With those rules out of the way, LETSA GO!
Inedible

• Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venasaur are based off of Toads and Poisonous Plants. When you combine the two, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that they can't be eaten.
• Weedle and Kakuna are poisonous caterpillars.
• Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff are balloons, which can not be eaten.
• Gloom and Veiliplume are weeds that steal nutrients.
• Paras and Parasect are LITERALLY parasites!
• Venonat... Venomoth... do I have to explain why the creatures with VENOM in the names can not be eaten...?
• Here's where things get tricky. At first, it's hard to tell WHAT the Abra line is. They might look like LIZARD FOXES at first, but upon closer inspection, these three actually USED to be HUMANS... AND they're in the HUMAN-LIKE Egg Group! Eating a person is not only immoral, but cannibalism can also make you sick. By all accounts, the Abra line is inedible.
• The same thing can be said about the Machop line. They are LITERALLY buff people, AND they are in the Human-Like Egg Group. They can NOT be eaten!
• Bellsprout is a poisonous flower, so it can't be eaten just yet. It has to mature in order for it to be eaten.
• The Geodude line are boulders, so they can't be eaten for obvious reasons.
• Diglet and Dugtrio are moles, which are not safe to eat.
• I don't need to explain why you can't eat magnets, right? Good.
• The Muk line are just... piles of poison... that's it...
• You literally cannot eat ghosts.
• As a snake, Onix would typically be edible... if it weren't made of boulders...
• Hypno and Drowzee look like animals at first glance, but they are actually in the Human-Like Egg Group.
• The Voltorb line are literally just bombs, and not the kind that you chew from the bubblegum machine.
• Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are literally just FIGHTING PEOPLE, and they are in the Human-Like Egg Group! N-O-P-E!
• The Koffing line are poisonous gasses. I challenge you to find a person who will eat it.
• The Rhydon line is made of rocks, so how are you gonna eat them?
• Mr. Mime and Jynx are LITERALLY PEOPLE, and they're in the Human-Like egg group!
• Elekid and Elektabuzz are electric Onis. How are you gonna eat them?!
• Finally, we have Porygon. You will never be able to eat code in a krillion years.

Probably Edible

• Clefairy and Clefable are two Pokemon I hate with a burning passion, and as much as I would LOVE to eat them, it's difficult to tell if they're actually edible since you can't actually tell what it's supposed to be. A cat...? An Axolotl...? What happens if you eat it?
• The entire Nidoran line is made up of a mix of various edible mammals, which seems like an obvious thing to eat... except for one problem... they're made of poison... and you can't tell which parts are edible or not.
• Lickitung is another weird one for me. Tongues are DEFINITELY edible, but I can't tell what Lickitung is supposed to be, and the tongue itself is full of bacteria. I guess you can cook off the bacteria... it's also a monster... but... what even is it...?
• Ditto is the weirdest case of them all, since it can transform into anything. But... what happens if it transforms into a pineapple and then cut it? What if it transforms after you eat it? What if you eat a ditto on its own?

Exotic

• The Charmander line is based off of salamanders.
• The Squirtle line is based off of turtles. They are hard to find as food, but they are completely edible.
• Caterpillars, Cocoons, and Butterflies are COMPLETELY edible. I actually ATE a caterpillar before.
• Despite Weedle and Kakuna being poisonous, bees are COMPLETELY edible!
• Rattata and Raticate are mice, which are edible.
• If you can eat rattlesnakes in the real world, you can DEFINITELY eat Ekans and Arbok.
• Pikachu and Raichu are mice.
• Sandshrew and Sandslash are Pangolins. They may be endangered, but they CAN be eaten.
• Vulpix and Ninetales are foxes. As controversial as they are to eat, they are DEFINITELY edible.
• Zubat and Golbat are bats. They are a very controversial dish because they are rumored to be linked to several diseases, but that is yet to be confirmed.
• Cats are controversial, but they can still be eaten. Meowth from Team Rocket may be able to talk, but this is the exception and not the rule.
• Monkeys are eaten all over the world.
• Growlithe and Archanine are dogs. You can eat them, but try eating them around someone else without starting a fight. I dare you.
• The Polywag line are tadpoles, which are completely edible.
• Carnivorous Plants and Venus Flytraps are protected by law, but they are Venus Flytraps and DEFINITELY edible!
• Jellyfish are not only safe to eat, but they are also healthy for you as well.
• People don't like to eat horse meat, but it ain't gonna hurt you.
• Ostriches and Emus are quite the exotic treat!
• People don't like to eat Seals because they are cute, but you can still eat them.
• The Cubone Line is implied to be inspired by reptiles, and THEY can be eaten!
• Chansey is an Axolotl, and as much as I LOVE Axolotls, I still hate THIS thing! It's a good thing it can be eaten.
• Kangaroos are edible.
• Seahorses are edible too.
• It's hard to imagine a starfish as "edible", but you can still see them being consumed on the street.
• Syther is a praying mantis and Pinsir is a stag beetle. Both of these bugs are safe to eat.
• Eevee and its evolutions are based off of rabbits, cats, and foxes. Eating one would DEFINITELY be controversial, but not impossible.
• Mew and Mewtwo are based off of cats, and incredibly smart ones at that. However, not only are they not people, but they are also not even from this world. If you ask me, I'd say that eating a Mewtwo would do more good than harm, since Mewtwo is known to be evil. Eating Mew... uh... let's just say an angry mob would be at your door...
• I put Omastar in the wrong tier...
• Snorlax is a bear, and you can probably eat whatever's inside its stomach too! It's probably the most ethical Pokemon to eat, since it won't even feel the pain while it's asleep.
• Dratini and Dragonair are lizard snakes. They can be eaten.

Commonly Eaten

• The Pidgey line, the Psyduck line, the Spearow line, Magmar, and the legendary Bird Trio are all birds, and it wouldn't be controversial to eat them. Far'Fetched even comes with a LEEK, so you can have a complete meal with THAT!
• Oddish is an onion/raddish. Unlike its evolutions, Oddish is safe to eat.
• Clampearl and Cloyster are CLAMS! Krabby and Kingler are CRABS! Goldeen, Seaking, Magykarp, and Gyrados are all FISH! Omantyke, Omastar, Kabuto, and Kabutops are SHELLFISH! Seafood is even LESS controversial than regular meat!
• I put Aerodactyl in the wrong tier by mistake because not everyone likes to eat lizards, but it's still safe to eat.
• The Exeggute line are... well... EGGS!
• Taurus is a bull/cow.
• Tanglea is seaweed spaghetti, and is said to taste like mint.

CONFIRMED TO BE EATEN!

• Slowpoke Tail is confirmed to be a delicacy from Generation One, and Slowbro, while he doesn't have a tail, is still a mix between a lizard and a hippo.
• Lapras is confirmed to be hunted for meat.

Finally...
If there was only ONE Pokemon from Gen 1 I could eat, it would be Dragonite. Not only do I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT, but it would also be delicious to eat. Admit it, you'd wanna eat a Dragonite too.

It is a man, old and scraggy. He wears a jacket that lays over the red plaid button shirt and blue jeans. He wears an old baseball cap and a pair of glasses. He yelled something to Dad, holding his hands up like he was pleading, although we couldn’t hear it over the truck engine. They talked, but we couldn’t hear what they were saying.
“Hey, what are they saying”, I asked, while petting Matt’s hair, calming him. The old man then put his hands down and came close to Dad in a cautious way. They seem to start having some kind of conversation.
“I don’t really know, hopefully, something good”, Mom answered. They talked for a little while, with daylight beginning to disappear, giving us a sense of dread, and making me more worried about what weird creature was going to show up. Eventually, the old man turned and pointed toward what I think is the northeast. They then shook hands and walked back to their respective vehicles. “What’s going on”, Mom asked as Dad got into the truck.
“Well, our new friend here invited us to dinner at his farm”, Dad replied.
“Does he have supplies?”
“Well, he says has supplies for us to make the journey.”
“Should we even trust him? We just met h-”
“Relax, he’s just an old man, living alone at his farm, feeding his cows. What could go wrong”, Dad countered. The old man then entered the truck that was running and drove slowly, expecting us to follow him.
“Alrighty then, but we have to be cautious”, Mom said, with her suspicions of the old man. We then followed the old truck along the dark, frozen road. It just feels like something is going to show up along the road, but nothing happened. Matt did eventually stop crying, but he is still upset about the Joe escape thing.
“Where are we going”, Matt lamented, with the prior series of events in mind.
“I guess somebody is offering us dinner”, I answered.
“Why can’t we just go home?”
“It’s only going to be a stop, like a hotel. After that, we go to our new home, I guess”, I said, taking another look at Matt and cradling to comfort him. “It’s going to be okay.” I stared out into the darkness. I looked to the sky from the window and I faintly saw something in the clear, dark sky, lit up by the waning moon. They were brilliant, green auroras that defy the bright moon, dancing across the sky like ribbons in the wind. The truck eventually took a right-hand turn into another road, with us following suit. I can see a bright, orange light emerging from a patch of tree. When we passed by, it seemed it was a house, at a farm, burning in a massive flame.
“I guess those people aren’t so, uh, lucky”, Dad said, taking a quick look at it before looking at the road. Passing by, we went on and continued to follow the old man’s truck. We passed onto another intersection until he turned into a driveway to what I believe to be his farm. Going into the driveway, I can see an old house, along with a dilapidated farm further away, barely visible by the headlights. The old man parked by the house, where there were a few other trucks there. We parked alongside the truck and we got out into the cold, near-silent night.
“Welcome to sanctuary, where all are welcome”, the old man bellowed. This is the first time I’ve heard his voice. Matt was the last to get out of the truck, slowly and clumsily climbing out of the truck.
“What’s your name”, my Mom politely asked the old man.
“Oh, I guess your husband didn’t tell ya. My name is Steven, but you can call me Steve”, the old man said, with some crackling in his voice. “I am very proud to host a dinner for you and your family”, he continued. “What’s your name, ma’am?”
“Oh, my name is Janice”, Mom replied, quite pleased at his politeness.
“Hello, Janice, and what are their names”, Steven asked, pointing to me and Matt.
“That’s my daughter Kate and my son Matt”, Dad said to Mom.
“Oh, what wonderful names for a couple of beautiful children you have”, Steve grinned. “Come, it is dangerous out here.” We followed him to the house, which looked like it had seen better days. He entered through the double-set door, the first a solid door and a screen door behind. Entering the house, it smelled like what you’d expect, old man. Looking onto the floor is made of glossy wood and walls with cracks, likely caused by the earthquake. It is dark in there, lit by candlelight from many candles, yet it’s fairly warm here. I don’t know why we went into the house, but Dad was right, Steve is just a lonely, old man. Matter of fact, there seems to be nothing wrong here, other than the cracks in the walls. “Sorry, the power went out. Had to resort to the candles. I knew my wife would come in handy”, Steve explained as he took his coat off. “Oh, supper will be ready right away. Had to use the fireplace to cook. Also, can you take your boots off?” We took our boots and set them aside. We went into what seemed to be a living room, with dusty old-style furniture.
“So, where do we sit”, Mom asked.
“Oh, well, follow me”, Steve commanded, leading us to the dining room, with a long, wooden table and six wooden chairs, along with their corresponding old-fashioned plates, glasses and cutlery, lit up in the candlelight. We noticed that everything on the table was covered in a thin veil of dust. “My apologies, the recent shocks dropped a bit of dust on the table”, he explained as he noticed us looking at the plates and moved into another room nearby. “Take your seats if you like.” We all settled onto the chairs, and blew off our plates of the dust settled there.
“When will we eat”, Matt impatiently said.
“Once Steve comes out with the food”, Mom answered. Matt sat there with a tired look on his face. Dad seemed to be in a better mood than before and it looked like he wanted to start a conversation.
“Hey, should we talk about something”, Dad asked. I then see Steve with a bowl and a silver plate.
“Here we go, may not be much, but at least it’ll fulfil the soul”, Steve said, smiling when he served us mashed potatoes and meatloaf. “So, shall we pray?” That came unexpectedly, as we are not too religious, but we were in his house and gave us shelter and food.
“Sure, we can do that”, Mom said and we all bowed our heads and put our hands together. Steve cleared his throat
“Thank you, Lord, for this good food to feed the soul in these hard times. I shall pray, in the name of the Lord and Jesus Christ, that these hard times shall be over, so we can get on with our lives. Amen.” We raised our heads and grabbed whatever food there was onto our plates. “Oh, there’s no gravy, so we have to deal with bare potaters and meatloaf.”
“Oh, not to worry. Thank you for the food”, Dad thanked Steve. We began to eat the food once we got it sorted.
“So, what brings you here”, Steve asked.
“Well, there is an evacuation order in effect for this area, so we had to go to Regina”, Dad explained, with Steve taking in every word. “So, we came from Strasbourg, we tried going south towards Regina, but we hit an obstacle in the way and we had to take another route, leading us here.”
“And we encountered a few odd things along the way”, Mom added.
“Huh, interesting. What do you guys think is going on”, Steve inquired.
“By the things we saw, we have no idea. Dinosaurs, devil dogs, hell pigs, the whole deal. I shouldn’t forget the earthquake. They told us a pipeline leak caused by the earthquake”, Dad clarified to Steve.
“Hmm… is that so”, Steve wondered. “Wonder what I think is happening? The Rapture is happening. Do you know how the Bible tells us of the end times? Good people sent to be with God and his kingdom, the rest here to suffer the Hell unleashed by Satan.” By this point, he was beginning to rant, but we couldn't stop it as we all began to feel tired and powerless. “So, the Devil will send his demons in the form of these illusions so that they can torment the sinners. It is happening, it is-” Steve manically continued as I drew towards blackness and his voice becoming less coherent. My vision is now all black.
I saw those same lights, but more rapidly than before. I then emerged onto the same clear sky, but something felt different. I can smell something in the air. I can smell what seems to be chemicals in the air. Looking down, I was terrified. Dark, grey rock in the shape of ropes and folds, similar to those I saw of lava flows on a volcano in pictures. This went on as far as the eye could see. I can see no tree this time, just the cooled lava everywhere. I then walked, feeling every bump and crag. I thought I walked forever until I heard a rumbling sound and woke up.
I am in total darkness. It is cold and it smells like cow manure. I tried to move my hand, but it seemed to be bonded behind my back by a rope. I tried to move my feet, but they were also bound by rope to the legs I tried to speak, only to realise my mouth was agape by a cloth in my mouth. I heard shuffling nearby but I could not see. It was then shone in light when Steve entered the door, holding a candle, revealing all of us in the same situation. I then can see what we are in. We are in that same wooden dilapidated barn we saw earlier and seems to be more damaged than the house, wood creaking can be heard.
“These sedatives are more effective than I thought. Maybe I should use them more often”, Steve smoothly explained, like he’s some kind of agent and began pacing. “Wonder why you are here? Well, I wondered the same thing to myself, why didn’t God take me to his heaven? When I first heard of the government telling us of those evacuation plans, I thought it was that, a leaking pipe. I began to notice things I couldn’t believe myself, at least at first. Earthquakes, weird creatures showing up, people disappearing, the whole spiel. I connected the dots. The Rapture is happening, for sure, but why me? Why was I the one left here on this Earth”, Steve calmly ranted, pacing around the barn, but it seemed to sound crazier and angrier the more he paced. “I thought I had lost my way. I’ve been unfaithful to God and his son. But, I realised that God always has a plan and he left me on this Earth to serve a purpose. I wondered what my purpose was until I had a moment.” He then stopped in place and calmed down. He turned to look at Mom with accusing yet crazed eyes.
“I’m supposed to keep the sinners here in line, to earn a place in God’s kingdom, or suffer in Hell. I know you are a sweet woman, Janice, but your treachery with Satan is over and I am going to do what’s right.” Mom then looked at all of us, with assuring eyes like that of an innocent yet caring mother we all know knew. I began crying and trying to speak through the cloth, but I was helpless to watch by. “Forgive me, Father, for what I am going to do.” He then pulled a knife from his pocket and plunged it into Mom’s neck with no mercy. I looked away once he did that, trembling, with tears pouring out and my vision glazed and I fell limp. I could see my brother tearing up, but he did not look away. I can hear Dad behind me, with his screams of agony and anger covered by the cloth. It felt like I was in slow motion, taking in every moment.
I then heard the chair, screeching as Steve dragged the chair containing Mom’s lifeless body towards the door, leaving behind a trail of blood. I couldn’t bear to see my mother like this. I shut my eyes very hard and hoped it would go away. The door then shut, leaving us alone with a candle, fearing what would come next. I stared at the candle, seeing it dance in the flames like a woman dancing in the darkness. Is this how it’ll end, I thought. End up dying to this sick man? My Mom was killed in front of me. I sobbed with that thought, then I began to think about the inevitable death of me. I hope there’s something after I die. Maybe I’ll see Mom again.
It was silent for a while, nearly no sound other than our moans. Dad seems to be fidgeting at the back of his chair, rocking it slowly. Looking past him, I shuddered at the glistening pool of blood, where Mom was last alive, could be my fate. I then see Dad release his arms from the back of the chair and remove the cloth from his mouth. He silently stood up and bent down to untie his legs from the chair legs. He then went to me and removed my cloth.
“H-h-how did you do that”, I silently wept, fearing that Steve would show up at the door and kill us all.
“My binding is loose. The old man probably took a liking to me”, Dad whispered. “I should remove your binds.” He untied them, releasing me, doing the same for Matt. “Now, we need to be quiet.” We then walked, quietly, along the painfully creaking wood in the near dark, following the blood trail, glistening in the candlelight. We cringed and dreaded each sound we made and watched the door in case it began to creak open. A few silent steps later, we made it to the door and we slowly opened it so as not to make any noise. What was revealed to us is nothing new, other than the blood trail continuing in the snow directing towards the back of the barn. “Okay, Kate, Matt, you guys run to the truck.”
“What about you”, I sobbed.
“Don’t worry about me”, Dad responded, giving me his keys and forcing them into my hand. “If I’m not back in a few minutes, leave. Don’t look back, take care of your brother, okay? I love you, no matter what happens.” He then kissed me on the head and ran to follow the blood trail. We quickly walked towards the black truck, stranded there for maybe hours. Getting closer, freedom is getting closer. When we got to a fair distance to the truck, I heard footsteps behind me and, the next thing I knew, I was knocked over to the ground into the hard snow on my face. A hand turned me over to give me a glimpse of a crazed Steve, his eyes wilder than before.
“Oh, yes, trying to escape”, he bragged. I looked at him, frozen in fear, like a deer in headlights and he caressed my face with his bloodied blade. “You do have a pretty face, but I’m afraid you are just one of Satan's creations, made to pull me to lust.” He then raised his knife in the air when a familiar side emerged, out of the blue.
Joe came and bit him in the arm that was holding the knife. Steve screamed in agony the moment he realised what happened. He shook Joe off and stood up to stand his ground. I stood up as Joe hissed and walked around the crazed being he wounded, not in fear but in aggressiveness. “Is this one of your pets, demon”, Steve screamed as Joe came in for another attack, but Steve countered that with a slash to the snout. Joe then ran away, whining, into the darkness. This sequence of events gave me the chance to enter the truck on the driver’s side. I had some trouble starting it, besides this is my first time driving a truck.
Steve menacelily walked towards the when Dad came barreling and tackled him to the ground. Dad was on top when he went limp. I finally put the keys in the engine turned it on and backed out, with memory serving me the instructions on such a vehicle. Steve pushed Dad’s body and stood up, but by that time, we left the farm.
“Turn back, we have to get Dad”, Matt cried, but I was very emotional, accepting what happened. I felt that, without my parents, I feel… useless.
“Dad’s dead”, I screamed at Matt and he began gagging uncontrollably in tears. I began to feel sorry for him. “Sorry, I, I don’t know.”
“It’s okay”, Matt sniffled. “I guess Mom and Dad are dead anyways.” It was silence for a few more minutes, tears welling in our eyes.
“Hey, our parents are in a better place”, I said, trying to make the situation positive.
“But we are stuck here, without them? Don’t we deserve to go to a better place?”
“Don’t say that”, I huffed and I paused for a bit. “I know we are in the, uh, right place now. Let me tell you something, once we get to Regina, I will take care of you, no matter what life throws at us.”
“What about Joe”, Matt asked.
“He’ll be fine. He probably found his girlfriend already.”
“Hey, don’t you have a boyfriend?”
“I, uh, I don’t have one. That I know of”, I spoke, bringing me back to Sam, remembering that she’s the only friend that I ever knew, and I left her. Without her, I felt alone, no one would ever relate. I began to tear up. “I don’t have any friends. I am alone,” I sobbed.
“What do you mean? I’m your brother!” I looked at Matt, and smiled, happy that he acknowledged that we were in this together.
“Thank you”, I thanked him. I slowly stopped on the road, just to hug Matt hard, crying my eyes out. We then heard what sounded like an elephant in front of us. We looked up to see a walking snow-covered brown fur wall with four pillar-like legs in front of us. Its curved tusks gleaned in the light and the eyes reflected in the light. The furry trunk waved around like a searching snake from a tree. We both knew what it was.
“Hey, look at that, a woolly mammoth”, Matt said, excitement running through him. At this point, we weren’t surprised.
“Yep, that is a woolly mammoth”, I added. The mammoth turned to us on the road, seemingly confused about where it was. It looked at our truck and seemed to growl, like an elephant. We are starting to realise this thing is becoming aggressive.
“Uh, should we move”, Matt asked. I remembered hearing something about standing your ground in case of an encounter with an elephant. I hoped it would work for a bigger, furrier version of one.
“No, we have to stand our ground.”
“But, it’ll attack u-”
“Trust me!” I then honked my horn and it backed up. It then rushed, then stopped, a mock charge. Eventually, it moved out of the road, disappearing into the darkness. We sighed in relief.
“That was close”, Matt sighed. I then continued to drive in the night, headlights leading the way. The road is bumpy, as noticed by every ditch and peak we hit, but surprisingly, Matt was fast asleep. I began to get comfortable driving and used to the road by that point. It was silent for a while until we hit a smaller intersection. That is when the truck shut down, completely and stopped. I tried the gas many times but with no effect. There is no light, nothing. It is near-darkness here, shone only by the moonlight.
“Shit”, I yelled, desperate to turn the truck on without much success. Matt woke up, confused.
“What happened”, he yawned.
“The truck turned itself off. I can’t get it back on”, I fretted and at that moment, Matt was just as panicked as I am.
“Why?”
“I-I don’t know. One moment, we were driving, another it just-”, I quavered, when I heard something rustle in the distance. We stood still, hoping whatever it was didn’t find us. I looked around, hoping to see something in the moonlight. I then see a long, walking animal. It looked like some sort of alligator at first, except for a dinosaur-like head. Once I strained my eyes to the darkness, my fear levels rose as I could see it walk on its hind limbs, with its forelimbs dangling nearly touching the ground.
It was wandering around on the road when I heard a near-crocodilian growl at Matt’s side of the truck. Another of those creatures appeared, seemingly looking into the window like a hungry bear, giving us a chance to see its scaly head. Its exposed alligator teeth gleaned in the light like knives, but more terrifying was the eye. Its serpentine pupil shone brilliantly in the light like eyes in the dark. It then ducked down, gave a hiss, and moved towards the other one. A few more showed up and formed a group.
“What should we do”, Matt asked. “Should we stay?” I looked around, hoping for another way to escape them without them noticing. I further strained my eyes and mentally mapped out the area. There is a cemetery on my right-hand side, a grain bin storage yard on my left and a series of trailers on the other side of the highway, which is ahead of us, from the storage area. There, I see a series of white, storage buildings, something we can go to and wait it out inside.
“Okay, so slowly open the door”, I instructed Matt. The click of the doors opening cringed us. We looked at the group, but there was no response from them. We then, as slowly as we could, opened the door and stepped out. Still no response. Matt then quietly ran to the other side, towards me. “Okay, we are going into the storage yard and go to the other entrance”, I said, pointing to the other right-hand corner. I wanted to get as far away from these things as possible before making a safe crossing. “Then, we cross the highway on the other side, run into the buildings and stay there for the night. Are you ready?”
“I guess”, he whispered, looking at me in fearful doubt.
“We are going to do this”, I whispered back. We then silently ran over, having to rely on our night-adapted eyes, to the corner, walking past the bins. We made it and nothing behind us so far. “We’re good so far.” We then crossed the road and noticed nothing. We noticed a tanker truck, leaking some sort of fluid across the road. I easily recognized it as fuel, based on its distinctive, sickly smell. I wouldn’t be worried about it if it weren’t for a collapsed light pole that is somehow still flickering with electricity near the area where the fuel would be flowing. We quickly avoided the fluid when I froze to see the group of the walking alligators, running towards us. “Run!” Matt tried to run, but one of those things appeared and clamped its jaws at the back of his neck. He yelped in pain and it took him down to the ground. “Matt”, I yelled, helplessly watching as the creature tore into him.
Matt reached out his arm before the others came to him, then a flash of fire came. At this point, I knew what happened, but I couldn’t even think before it exploded. It blew me towards the building, far away. I was knocked out for a few seconds before I regained consciousness, groaning in pain on the ice. I noticed something especially painful just below my chest. I reached towards the area with my hand. I pressed on it, more painful than ever and raised my hand, only to see blood, brightened by the fire. I realised I was wounded, maybe by shrapnel made by the explosion.
I looked toward where the truck was and all I saw was a blaze. Those things weren’t there, at least. I also noticed something else, too, there’s no Matt. I tried to look around for something, some sort of sign of my brother within the fire, but I saw none. I then wept, realising I had failed. I have failed to keep him safe. I have failed to give him a better life. I failed him as a sister. I could’ve done better. The thoughts poured in as tears glazed my eyes. At that moment, I failed to look around me.
I noticed a dark thing beside the blaze. I thought it was Matt, preparing to greet him back, even though I knew he couldn’t survive the explosion. The image became clearer and clearer as I noticed it was one of the walking crocs that, glazed by the fire, was coming towards me.
“Just kill me”, I screamed, preparing to painfully die to meet my maker. The creature was about to attack me when something large, silent as the wind, came charging and clamped down its massive jaws, filled with conical teeth on the hapless creature and raised it. The crocodile struggled before going limp with a crunch within its strong jaws. The big, dark and scaly monster that it is towered over me and is as long as a bus, possibly longer. Its large legs are a contradiction to its small arms that hide beneath its scarred, bulky body.
It turned to look at me with an oddly bird-like expression, revealing in the firelight numerous scars from battles I could never know and looked at me with its beady bird-like eyes, breathing out wisps from its nostrils like a dragon in the cool air. I recognized it as a creature I know too well, a T. Rex. I breathed heavily and sickly, looking at the thing, nearly expecting me to drop the body and go after me. Instead, it simply walked away, carrying its bloody prize with it, and steadily retreated into the darkness.
I then lay down in agonizing exhaustion on my back, thinking of the next step of action like I'm on a suicide mission I would never come back from. I looked in the direction of the graveyard and had one thought. I guess I am dying. a graveyard will do. I struggled to stand up, noticing my blood-soaked clothes and felt a broken left leg. I grasped my wound, limping step by step and enduring the sharp pain while shaking in the cold. Every step I took, I remembered all the memories, good or bad, that I had with my parents. My brother. My friends. My family. I eventually reached the cemetery and slouched at a tree.
“Guess I’m joining you, guys”, I said, speaking to the snow-covered gravestones, only to hear something. A familiar sound of chirping emerged and, lit by the blaze, it was a sight I can hope for. “Joe, what are you doing here”, I depressingly cheered as Joe went to me and curled up in my lap as if he were a cat. I noticed the new-found scar he had on his little snout, but I paid no mind as I petted him. “I guess you came back. Thank you so much for what you did”, I thanked him, not expecting such a loyal creature would be with me, comforting me, to the end, like what my mother used to do when I was a newborn. I heard another noise, this time a deep rumble.
I thought it was another earthquake coming, but it got louder the closer it got to me, becoming more animalistic only felt small vibrations I barely felt. Joe stayed put, oddly enough, as T. Rex, different from the first one, came. It walked towards us until it stopped short of us. It began to produce a low-pitched, bird-like purring, attracting Joe. I realised something, that this T. Rex is Joe’s parent. He joined the rest like him, whom they showed up and all chirped around.
The grown Rex then brought its snout closer to me, not to kill me, but to look at me. It did not reveal its teeth and was still purring. I put my hand out and its nose came close to it. It rubbed it against my hand and started to pet its cold, scaly skin as it breathed through its nose and put it on my chest. I rested my head on it before it pulled away. It gave out a hiss, but I knew it wasn’t that of a threat, but more of a thank you for bringing its small, sometimes immature, child home.
That gave me relief, as it felt like I at least did something for once. They walked away, along with Joe, towards the darkness amongst the gravestones in the cemetery. I glimpsed one last desperate look at Joe before walking beside his parent. I looked up at the sky and I could see all the stars, twinkling, and the dancing green auroras. I began to feel limp and felt the cold embrace of death coming over me, tears pouring out of my eyes. The sky then grew brighter and brighter, the stars faded into the light and I could see my family welcoming me to a new home. It then slowly went black, darker than a cave.
You would think this is the end of me. It wasn’t, or else I wouldn’t be writing this right now. I eventually woke up in a hospital in Regina. I was told I was rescued by a team that transported me while I was in a coma. The doctors said I was very lucky to be alive, as the shrapnel narrowly avoided my vital organs. After that, I was adopted into a new family, but I was only with them for a couple of years before finding a new job and moving out.
As for Sam, I don’t know what happened to her. I would like to think she is safe, somewhere else. As for my family, I think of them all the time. I was in a depressive period right after that. Eventually, over the years, I accepted that they were gone and went to a better place. For Joe, I would like to think he is all grown up, like his parents, and becoming the king of the jungle. I hope we meet again.
As for the evacuated area, it wasn’t some pipeline rupture that caused an evaluation, but an anomaly, with the exact reason not known. There are excuses for the claims of weird stuff going on in there, from disease to chemicals, to eventually a previously unknown geological event, but I saw through it all.
You may ask how, it's because I've been there. Take it or leave it, this is the story I have. As the decade came by, cover-ups were made to hide it, even walls were put around it. Since the incident, the exclusion zone grew from a mere 80 kilometers in diameter to 460 kilometers in diameter, emptying entire cities of the likes of Regina and Saskatoon. I had to move to North Battleford, by the recommendation from the same government covering it up, making me think that time will tell before the floodgates of truth open.
The anomaly didn’t have a name initially, however, over the years, everyone agreed on one name in particular: The Saskatchewan Anomaly.

I'm a long time lurker but this is my first post. Cross posted in another sub also.. So I'll preface. I lived in my home for 7 years. All 7 years I've been here I've had dogs. I've never had any issues with my dogs getting out or my fencing. I currently have one 9 month male and a 3 year old female she's in heat.
This November I had my male fixed due to genetic issues with both dogs and my female already having two surgeries less than a year ago. So you know I'm good right no puppies?! Or so I thought......
Last week at 3am Wednesday night my male starts losing his crap and wakes us up. Surprise, surprise we have another male dog in our backyard who is in tact and after checking the cameras it appears our dogs were out back at the same time he came in😑. No idea how he got in my yard. After checking all the Facebook pages and whatnot I find his owner. I text explain I found her dog mines in heat and I need him picked up before I go to work so I can open my doggie door for my dogs. Dog returned to owner 7am not even so much as a Thank you so much for keeping him all night, sorry he woke you up! Nothing, I mean if the roles were reversed I would be so apologetic and grateful.
Then the dog comes back on Friday during the day luckily my husband was home and we don't think he was able to get to our female before being found. I text the owner again she comes and gets the dog AGAIN. Now we're double checking all the fencing putting locks on the gates no idea how this dog is getting in. We're thinking maybe the gates unlatching and he's coming in and it's closing behind him? So we should be good now?! Right?! Wrong!!
The reason you may ask that I'm up at 4AM AGAIN typing this.... That damn dog got into my house, into my bedroom, my dog Loses it and I'm now wide awake as it's howling in my yard. 😭😭. I'm one of those people who need their complete 8 to function and this is the second time in as many weeks I've been up since 3am.

Before I got married to my wonderful husband we had gone months and months stressing each other out with trying to plan the perfect day. Neither of us particularly had the flair for planning large occasions and being both introverted we were really only planning the day to appease our families. We had spent months planning and I had the idea that I wanted to surprise him with a sentimental and personal gift. I wanted the gift to show my cheeky and slutty personality that would be for his eyes only. After speaking to one of my girlfriends she mentioned that I should consider a boudoir photoshoot, which she said she had done in the past for her husband. I completely fell in love with the idea and rushed to do my research and book it in. Within a couple of days I had found a photographer that wasn’t too far from my home and made a midday booking.
The photographers name was Christian and we emailed back and forth as we spoke about the finer details and what would be involved. I picked out a number of sexy outfits and pieces of lingerie and eagerly awaited the big day.
When the day finally came I drove to Christians studio which was a gorgeous ultra modern house located in an affluent area. I knocked on the door with my gym bag in hand and was wearing some very slutty makeup. My lips were pink and my black hair was straightened and fell down past my tits. Christian answered the door and I was stunned at how gorgeous he was. He was tall and wore a white shirt and suit pants. He had a full head of sandy hair and a really chiseled face. I got so nervous and was acting like a school girl.
He invited me in and we immediately started innocently flirting with each other. He was looking me up and down and there was definite chemistry. I couldn’t wait till he saw me in my first outfit.
I changed in a nearby room and wore a sexy black gstring that barely covered anything. I wore a matching black bra that had tassels that was insanely hot. As soon as I walked out Christian smirks and says “wow!” I said, “do you like it?” To which he nods his head. We begin shooting and I have no idea what to do but Christian guides me into all different positions. I felt like a total pornstar and was loving every bit. We continued to flirt and after a bit I got the courage to say, “you know this is kind of hot.” Christian smiled again and said “you’re very beautiful. Your husband is very lucky.”
The next pose I was in was a doggy style pose on a bed. Things were starting to heat up between us and I could see his bulge in his pants. I said, “this is my favorite position you know & by the way I know you’re hard under there.” He got so embarrassed but then got closer and was taking more closer shots. As he got closer he looked at me and kissed me on the fucking lips. At that point I totally freaked out and realized that I had crossed the line. I was being a total slut but his kiss made me instantly wet. I made up some dumb excuse and then left the house. A few weeks later he emailed me the photos.

I have a 9 month old Maltipoo and inside his tiny little fluff ball of a body, seems to be an absurd amount of hormones.
This week he slipped his harness to get to an unneutered female about 800m away who had just entered the same field as us but was not even in sight. Then he spent all of puppy class doing nothing but trying to seek out the females. The trainers says he's bitching (no idea if that's an official term) and there's not much more I can do. He knew a week or two before any of the other male puppies whenever the females were about to come into season. I really want to avoid neutering him before he's a year old so I was hoping someone here might have some advice. 🙏
His behaviour at home is absolutely perfect but the second we step out of that door the menace demon appears. It doesn't seem to matter how much focus work I do at home, I hand feed, I play recall games, I ask for eye contact to get any treat or reinitiate play, we practice heel work round the house. He will do literally anything I ask almost immediately.
Once we leave the house there is no treat or toy that is high enough value. I don't even attempt to get him to heel anymore I just stop and wait until he sits and makes some attempt to look in my direction if he pulls, but he only achieves this if there are ZERO distractions around, it's super frustrating for us both and can take forever. Sometimes I just turn and pull him in the other direction. So the majority of walks right now are miserable. I've had a few successes where he'll come for a treat but he just spits it out or refuses to take it and then he won't come again for the rest of the walk. I even try holding treats to his nose and he gets pissed off. He's just so over aroused or stimulated by everything else and that is his only focus. He's literally eyes wide, tongue out, peeing on everything, scraping his paws, panting and lunging to the end of the lead every chance he gets.
I'm trying to be strict and not reinforce bad habits like leash pulling, I'm trying to correct him for lurching at other dogs and get him to move past them, I pull him along so he can't stop to pee every single time, but I'm worried I'm just turning walks into a miserable activity. I honestly wonder if I should just let him go wild and burn his energy off and come back to these skills when he's older. The only good news is he weighs about 3kg so his pulling isn't exactly unmanageable.
He must be so frustrated though. I'm going to try and give him more enrichment and stuff he can shred but I'm desperate for more ideas. I don't know if I should be sending him to daycare so he can get that doggy playtime he's so desperate for or if I should be keeping him away from dogs as much as I can. I don't know if waiting it out is better or worse than getting him fixed too early.

My second weirdest one was a guy who called himself Spot. He was super attractive but wanted me to call him doggy stuff. So like good doggy etc. Instead of moaning or anything he would bark. He did a lot of licking etc like a dog would do. It was so strange but he was very hot so, ashamedly but simultaneously not ashamedly, I went back for seconds and thirds.

When I say this guy was loud I mean he was very loud. Banging the wall, screaming daddy over and over. You wouldn't know if I was pleasuring or killing him, tbh. I heard a knock on his bedroom door and I covered myself he was naked still. His father came in said diverted his gaze and he said something like keep it down don't be doing this again. Anyway, I was going to leave but he said he'd be quiet. Started fucking and he was, if anything louder, yes daddy harder harder etc. I fucked off didn't even finish. Met his father and I apologised. He said thanks but its not your fault. When he's in this mood there's probably another one coming as soon as you leavd. What in the Alabama is that. (It didn't happen in Alabama lol). He messaged a few days later explaining and the explanation was bad.

Long story short, a girl who I know from my major who also used to take the bus with me had graduated a year ago, at that time I had went my way and bought her graduation gifts and a congratulations card, a year later she had not even texted me "congratulations" on my graduation last week, although she had went to the graduation party and knows that I've graduated there.
Here is the thing, me, her and her friend who is now my ex-friend used to take the same bus and are in the same major, but since me and my ex-friend and a couple other people had to work in a graduation project she had showed me her true colors, in short she is nothing but a snake, a bully, a backstabber, and I am pretty sure that she had been feeding her lies and other stuff about me. guy to the point where I would be walking through a room's door and she would be opening the door to "us", & when I had said "thank you" to her she ignored me, meanwhile when the guy behind me who is one of the guys who used to work in the graduation project with us had passed by and thanked her, she said "your welcome" to him.
I am hurt, I am broken, the group that I've worked with for the graduation project have hurt me, bullied me, etc I need therapy becuase of them. I could write over 1000 pages about everything they've done to me during the past 9 months, specially this semester, I don't know what to do, I've already graduated, I feel like shit, I keep dissociating, I am afraid of facing real life, I just wish I can go back in time and re-live my last semester in uni, it was the WORST semester ever, the constant bullying, humiliation, and the INFINTE AMOUNT OF RACISMA that I've faced was and still unbearable, I wish I could have the chance to go back and enjoy my last semester in uni, I am stuck in this phase of depression, I can't accept the fact that I am no longer an undergraduate, that time is flying by me, I regret being vulnerable and opening up to my ex-friend, I regret befriending her, I wish when she had approached me in class 2 years ago that I've kept it casual, maybe now she would have just been a "classmate", I hate being in this position.
I am afraid of befriending people now, not a single person from my uni had contacted me after graduating, It was literally me sending a congrats text to 5 people, 3 of them had replied, and the 3ed one keeps dragging replying to me for days, and the other 2 literally ignored the texts. I feel so lonely, so alone, I don't even have high-school friend, childhood friends, etc.

Here is the thing, me, her and her friend who is now my ex-friend used to take the same bus and are in the same major, but since me and my ex-friend and a couple other people had to work in a graduation project she had showed me her true colors, in short she is nothing but a snake, a bully, a backstabber, and I am pretty sure that she had been feeding her lies and other stuff about me. guy to the point where I would be walking through a room's door and she would be opening the door to "us", & when I had said "thank you" to her she ignored me, meanwhile when the guy behind me who is one of the guys who used to work in the graduation project with us had passed by and thanked her, she said "your welcome" to him.
I am hurt, I am broken, the group that I've worked with for the graduation project have hurt me, bullied me, etc I need therapy becuase of them. I could write over 1000 pages about everything they've done to me during the past 9 months, specially this semester, I don't know what to do, I've already graduated, I feel like shit, I keep dissociating, I am afraid of facing real life, I just wish I can go back in time and re-live my last semester in uni, it was the WORST semester ever, the constant bullying, humiliation, and the INFINTE AMOUNT OF RACISM that I've faced was and still unbearable, I wish I could have the chance to go back and enjoy my last semester in uni, I am stuck in this phase of depression, I can't accept the fact that I am no longer an undergraduate, that time is flying by me, I regret being vulnerable and opening up to my ex-friend, I regret befriending her, I wish when she had approached me in class 2 years ago that I've kept it casual, maybe now she would have just been a "classmate", I hate being in this position.
I am afraid of befriending people now, not a single person from my uni had contacted me after graduating, It was literally me sending a congrats text to 5 people, 3 of them had replied, and the 3ed one keeps dragging replying to me for days, and the other 2 literally ignored the texts. I feel so lonely, so alone, I don't even have high-school friend, childhood friends, etc.

Hi all. I live next door to two really big mean dogs. They are left outside in there fenced yard most of the day.
Anytime me and my family are in our back yard the dogs will rush out and attack the fence, they then will start biting and fighting each other.
We tell our kids to stay away from the fence, but today our new puppy wondered off on our kids and got close to the fence, there dogs bit him up through the fence, none of the kids got bit luckily while they pulled him away from them.
I talked to the owners in person and told them I'm struggling being there neighbor, this behaviors been going on for years. There answer was the dogs will probably die in a few years of old age.
I asked if I could help maybe train them which they are open to. This is where I need help, what can I do to get them to stop being so aggressive and going psycho when we are close by? I thought about everytime I go outside I give them a doggie cookie so they think hey he's friend not foe? There ok with me giving them cookies, I just don't know what I need to do.
I also just bought a bark deterrent whistle to hang on the fence, maybe they'll start to stay away from us?
