You may have seen my post in the last rundown thread where someone was asking for a recap, after one person said that I should repost it and multiple people vouched it's conciseness / neutral stance / etc, I'll repost it here for those out of the loop and wish to be filled in. This will not include the recent rumors from the last day because these are unattached to a source. Please let me know if anything is wrong, and I'll add sources if I get bored and want to come back to this.

Sam has since been making content on youtube, gumroad, and their own site for the recent hit, Fishtank. Most people dislike Sam because he's politically edgy which comes out in offensive and borderline, if not over the line, racist jokes at times. Sam's dead-pan delivery and refusal to ever act "real" in interviews or in public has made him a question mark in many people's eyes. Sam previously hired Joeyy (and at some point, Laker as well) to work for his production company. Joeyy worked there for a couple of years, and still has ties to Sam through social media. Joeyy's previous (i would say "current" but it's pretty dead in the water) collective, 1team, was under the MDE (sam's production company) label, and a few members from there (joeyy, facy) moved to shed over the years.
Sematary, a popular rap artist who founded Haunted Mound, has consistently had beef with Joeyy / 1team / Shed over their direct connection to Sam. This has caused for minor disses here and there, previous to this month the largest outcome has been the disconnection of 2.0wen (a guy who was around for the start of drain gang, friends with all the members and had connections to both joeyy and sematary, some of the early-middle career HM videos were filmed there) and another member from Haunted Mound / Sematary. This has recently peaked with the recent statement Sematary said in an interview where he alluded to wishing death upon the Shed Theory members for their politics. Minor back and forths happened where Ricky and Woody both put out diss tracks, Joeyy+Nextel made posts laughing at Sematary for saying it's "on sight" and then ignoring them at the recent Chief Keef "Almighty So 2" release party as both were in attendance. Sematary recently put out a statement on tumblr saying he "didn't want to disrespect sosa at his party" by making a scene.
[AUTHORS ASIDE: The Sam -> Joeyy connection also previously had a lot more damage than it does nowadays, as Joeyy, previous to his 2022 works and being outed as having a direct connection to Sam, was very involved in the Hyperpop / Digicore SoundCloud scene. This is the same for previous 1team member Bicflame, who was previously closely affiliated with the scene as well. In 2021/22, one of the ex-members from MDE, a trans woman who was scene pre-transition in the iDubbbz documentary on Sam, made a cancellation document for Joeyy, Sam, Bic, and Facy. These accusations regarding Sam are nothing new that wasn't already echoed above, although it is to note that she accused Joeyy of pressuring her (a recurring addict) to try his lean, to "being transphobic" in regards to her relationship with her boyfriend [AUTHORS ASIDE 1.1: knowing Joeyy's incessant positivity, including members of the LGBTQ, this both read in the moment and should probably be interpreted as genuine stupidity or ignorance rather than attempting to be inflammatory]. Additionally, she accused Facy of being racist for saying the n-word while masquerading as black, and she outed Bic as knowingly transphobic and offensive against large artists such as (os)quinn (arguably the largest independent Hyperpop artist) in the Hyperpop scene. Note that evidence was not shown for any accusations besides Bic and Sam here. While this has been happening, Nextel (Shed Theory's manager, ex-Yeat manager) has been catching intensive pressure for being an overall bad manager. Yeat previously paid Nextel $100,000+ to break their contract and fuck off, essentially. It is of external belief that Nextel has done little to assist the rise of Shed Theory, and that as a manager, he is un-needed. This came to a head when @1childsoldier, a designer who worked alongside Nextel on 1child's brand 'dongfeng5', outted Nextel as a horrible person, missing payments, beating him with help of his brother, and locking 1child out of his own brand. 1child put all of this out on his story, additionally accusing Nextel of being in the hole, needing Shed to be "pill-pushers" as a result. (last part may be misconstrued, essentially 1child accused nextel of making some members of shed deal)
Nextel's drama is causing many to believe that he is the fault for Tek lintowe, Indietronica / Epic Collage artist leaving Shed, as announced on his story recently, citing 'management differences'. Tek took down the story and unofficial sources have said they are trying to reach out, but no further developments have been made on that front. Additionally, Nextel has alienated one of the Shed in-house producers, Elipropper, calling him the f-slur in a text thread for seemingly little reason. This has seemingly marked the departure of both artists. As of this repost, Eli has also stated more about his departure on Twitter, citing a nondescript notable change from the group over the past few years that upset him, and that Nextel was the breaking point. Returning back to the Sem / Sam / Shed stuff, Woody recently put out a number of stories on Instagram, stating his frustration from being blackballed in music due to the supposed connection Sematary has made public. He states explicitly that he has never met or talked to Sam Hyde both off and online. He additionally threatens Sematary, stating that they will be fighting if they ever see each other in real life. This lack of Sam Hyde -> Shed connection was echoed a few days afterwards by Marlon on his second instagram account @mytheoryvision, where he states explicitly a majority of Shed has never met Sam. Additionally, although incredibly minor in comparison given the Sam association is much larger, some people are upset with the connection Shed has made to the ex-Nitemare duo David Shawty and Yungster Jack, as Jack has rape allegations from 2021. These allegations are left in a grey zone, as while many claim Jack has "cleared" the allegations, given the lack of proof from either side, it was left ambiguous. Jack's only statement on the matter was his video in which he describes the scenario that occurred and his misunderstanding of the situation, and a DM the accuser released wherein Jack apologized, echoing the statement within his video.
Something I forgot to mention in the previous post that has additionally been ongoing is the lack of response and "scams" from members within the group. This is primarily with Laker, who has had consistent issues with both shipping merch and returning features and opens. Besides this, the only issues any members of the public has had with Shed in regards to scamming is late delivery times from Aceii, Laker, and Joeyy on their merch. It is to note that any issues people had with CDs before is likely unrelated to Shed, as aside from a few select releases, all CD product has been through Kunaki, who handles all production on their own.
Finally, to date, the video of Ricky Chix saying the n-word on Marlon's live has resurfaced online, being shared a number of times previous with little result. This video has been brought back to the public by (bloody) clip's repost on Twitter.

tek leaving is tragic, but honestly, it's been a long time coming. shed theory went on one of the most insane runs i've ever seen from late 2021-mid 2023 but since, it's just been nonstop drama. in the past five months they've beefed w/ their own fans over promo, been reduced to a punchline bc of a beef with a much more normie-friendly underground rapper (even if they seem to be winning the beef), played a "sold out" show at webster hall to abt 20 people (and became a twitter meme bc of it), couldn't sell out a $1 show in NYC, nextel had some weird ass allegations that i dont even remember, alienating their best internal producer (eliproper), there's prob other things i'm forgetting.
a lot of ppl are celebrating tek leaving bc they were fans of tek but, for moral/political rzns, refused to listen to him after he joined shed. i cant imagine thinking like that, but so many potential fans do. how many members actually need to be weighed down by the sam hyde thing at this point? it will always follow joeyy & facy (& probably laker) but marlon/woody/tek have so much potential to prosper if they weren't extremely unbookable/uncoverable due to the association. i saw on here that woody said he has never even met sam hyde. but it doesn't matter. if you've ever seen them at a festival/opening for another artist, you know how strange the vibe gets when they come on stage, how tense the crowd becomes. i hate to say this, but sometimes it's minstrel vibes. at the tek show in march, once shed showed up (including dugan wearing a durag) ppl started dipping. the music is so good but, let's be real, the vibes r treacherous. it is so hard to put ppl on for that rzn.
i was watching facy's live one day and he was saying how he never has gotten booked for a show. he makes no money off this shit. he has 8k monthly listeners. he sells features for like $50. i have been obsessively following music for 15 years and I am telling you it is so rare to stumble upon someone as talented as him, let alone someone with such a small following. i have never seen someone so committed to their craft churn out extremely catchy and consistent albums and see less success than your friend attempting to kickstart his local indie rock band. how can a group have at least five generational talents in it (marlon/joeyy/facy/woody/tek), hundreds of incredible songs, and be so washed? you go to their shows and see facy play like three songs, woody play three songs, marlon play four songs, and then have henry mosto grabbing the mic out of everyone's hands like he's doing karaoke at his birthday for the whole set. imagine a full woody set. imagine if facy toured night school, which is legitimately one of the most potent albums i have ever heard. it will never happen. there r too many members to keep happy. the budget is spread way too thin.
obviously nextel is a big part of the problem. if they fired him that would be great. but is it that simple? after all that's gone down, how has he not been fired yet? what is he doing for shed that they couldn't do for themselves? booking tours? lyrical lemonade connection? phreshboyswag collabs? i dont think they need nextel for that. it's more likely that nextel is savvy enough to figure out how to sink his teeth in and has made it impossible to get rid of him. yeat had to pay him 100 bands to dip. where the fuck are shed gonna get 100 bands from? i know they have trust funds but like...if i was their dad i would not throw down for that. plus, yeat had other places to go. no way zack bia signs shed (thank god)
i'm starting to think they should blow it all up. they should keep collaborating but each of them should focus on building something fresh. they shouldn't feel obligated to play shows where everyone cedes the floor to the less talented members. they shouldn't be relegated to joeyy's shadow or tied to nextel's antics. that way ppl will appreciate their golden era for what it is, they will build an unimpeachable legacy once new generations figure out how forward-thinking their music is bc, in like ten years, the political landscape in which they existed will be irrelevant, and that is the main thing bringing them down. otherwise it will just get more embarrassing, their legacy will get more tainted, the vibes will get more sour, and it will get harder to be a fan.

Worth a try since the housemates are pretty chillax or cool from the get-go.

But ya, as expected, the subtitles by those Chinese streaming services (WeTV(Tencent Video)/iQIYI/YOUKU/MangoTV/etc.) are often machine-translated as well with these variety/reality shows (and Cdramas). So maybe they'll fix it later though ya those official/propeetc. subtitles are also missing a few scenes or certain parts for now, but the subtitles are sorta a bit better than the OpenAI Whisper I posted earlieabove since they quickly redid the subjects/objects/etc. of the machine-translated sentence. So try watching the official/propeetc. version first instead of the AI-generated version that I posted since sometimes they update the subtitles on Youtube after a while to somewhat fix stuff.
Oh and the new Frankly Speaking Kdrama with Kang Han-na and Go Kyung-pyo is literally like Love Is for Suckers (has Lee Da-hee, one of the panelists of Single's Inferno (1, 2, and 3), as the producer or main character there, and Super Junior's Choi Si-won as the male lead), as in it's got the behind the scenes storyline and recreations/parodies/etc. for shows like I Am Solo (나는 SOLO) and Single's Inferno. It's so hilarious, definitely watch it if you're a fan of dating/cohabitation/slice of life/etc. shows.

But ya, as expected, the subtitles by those Chinese streaming services (WeTV(Tencent Video)/iQIYI/YOUKU/MangoTV/etc.) are often machine-translated as well with these variety/reality shows (and Cdramas). So maybe they'll fix it later though ya those official/propeetc. subtitles are also missing a few scenes or certain parts for now, but the subtitles are sorta a bit better than the OpenAI Whisper I posted earlieabove since they quickly redid the subjects/objects/etc. of the machine-translated sentence. This new show everyone’s talking about has twisted a nerve. It rely’s on a seriously convenient plot with cartoonish caricatures that make no sense whatsoever. Why does Mr. House think there’s “a lot of earnings to be made” in a post apocalypse? Why does Maximus FAIL the entire show, but get promoted at every turn? Cooper is supposed to be some cold-blooded mother fucker that kills anything in his way, but REFUSES to kill a fellow mc when they are on screen.
Yea I’m talking about the Fallout show n’ those aren’t even the worst parts. As a Communist, these caricatures of Communism as well as Capitalism are just goofy. Of course the “Communist” in the form of Moldaver (who we aren’t told as to how they specifically are 200+ years old) is not even a Communist, at least she deny’s it. And is shown to just have a personal vendetta against Cooper’s wife on top of being the leader of a raider group/cult whose actions aren’t particularly good karma.
Communism, or more relevant to the economy Communism uses, Socialism. Is about worker owned means of production. Similar to how a Capitalist uses private property. A Communist/Socialist believes the businesses, and state should be publicly owned by the workers. It’s not a 200+ year long vendetta because some guy’s wife bought out your CAPITALIST business that you work for. It being used in the show is just red scare bullshit which the show buy’s into by making the not Communist (but definitely implied to somehow be one with no rhetoric indicating such) Moldaver a Raider.
Unfortunately the caricature of Capitalism is worse. To start off lets go with a good example the show does give. Cold Fusion. It makes complete sense Vault-Tek, or any other Capitalist entity, would buy out this technology because “free” energy would mean no one could get their power shut off by (real world example) the Entergy company for not paying their bill. Cold Fusion would end that in theory. A fiduciary responsibility in collaboration with investors to prevent that if you will. I don’t even think the show meant to have a half truthful idea about it, that seems like pure accident. The show was made by Amazon after all. I doubt these very ideas weren’t on purpose.
As to Vault-Tek planning to drop the bomb which is the much, much worse example. There is multiple reasons given at the meeting where it all takes place: “Earnings/profit, eliminate competition, factions”. None of them make sense. Nuking the world nukes the economy & the people who work/buy to keep it running. Where’s the profit?
They want to eliminate competition, but are telling all of their known competitors their plans. They’re telling a lady that wants to build robots that delivers milk to the door their plans on nuking the goddamn world.
What about the Factions? Well I don’t really get it because Shady Sands was started by Vault 15 n’ they got nuked like the rest because Hank’s wife left. There’s not an inkling of understanding given as to why 1. Vault-Tek has the ludicrous idea that they will “end all factions”, and 2. Vault-Tek destroys their own factions that they’ve created aside from the ones they gave to their competitors I guess? Nice one, just create more factions you have to destroy later, wtf?
Capitalism is about the economy being centered around private property. Land rights/deeds. Extracting capital from the workforce that is working on private land owned by a capitalist. None of this makes sense in the motivation for capitalist businesses which is profit. It’s not a cabal of illuminati individuals trying to nuke the fucking world for “power”? In Capitalism money is power there is no point in essentially nuking your power away because there’s people you don’t like.
Character bullshit includes:
Lucy going from wasteland badass, back to aloof girl looking for her dad, back to badass, back to aloof. No real consistency imo. We need to see her go from unadapted to adapted, not flowing between both at random.
Maximus, and everyone hating him. Him stating that he wanted Dane (his only friend) to get hurt the way he did. Him impersonating a knight, stealing a suit of power armor, conspiring to kill a squire. None of that matters. He’s promoted to knight at the end with no consequences. Vault 4 even lets him leave with their only source of power, only getting it back because of Lucy. (Dane even acts like Maximus was the one that did it after the whole interrogation scene, and we hear nothing until the end about how Dane did it to himself. I guess Dane forgot about his own self-inflicted wound?)
Cooper is just like a complete Gary Stue. I prefer his flashbacks when he actually has a sort of character. The flash backs also don’t have any awful yodeling which is a plus.
Norm should be dead if Bud weren’t completely fucking useless. Just lock him up not with all the cryogenically frozen people you’re protecting.
Hank is a fucking anti-character. He’s in two scenes. The very beginning, and the very end. Lucy doesn’t even have any flashbacks of him.
Almost every other character feels like bullshit sitcom punchlines, or setting up the punchlines. We got the cousin fucker, chicken fucker, the awkward guy that’s never went a few miles over a hill. That old lady with the STUPID fucking meat grinder prosthetic foot. It’s the exact same problem that The Outer Worlds (video game) has. When you boil everything down to some edgy slapstick comedy gig you cheapen all your characters; nothing seems even possible in the already fictional world which is a failure on the world building front.
Music:
The music is abysmal. There’s hardly any ambient music. It’s all jazzy shit from the games which ruins a lot of the show’s tones. The worst example is probably Lucy walking in on a dead ass dead family with their baby. They killed themselves so they didn’t have to experience the Great-War. It’s a hard scene, and we could get invested in the hard tone of this scene if it wasn’t offset by juke n’ jive music.
Same with the Raider’s killing people Lucy has grown up with, was raised by, and even loves. Nope more 50’s music. The radio only works in the games because you can turn it on/off at any point in time. You the player are kinda given an element in shaping the tone for your character. Imo a fallout show/movie needs only ambience. Maybe a radio or jukebox in the background albeit limited?
The Plot:
It’s apparently about looking for Lucy’s dad, but just like the Bethesda games they just do that to get the character out of the vault; like the water chip in Fo1, or GECK in Fo2. And just like the Bethesda games it’s a problem because of the characters agency. Probably more so because we can’t sit here n’ be like “well Lucy doesn’t care about their dad” because this isn’t an RPG where you make the character. This is a pre-established character. It fucks up the player agency with all of the side stuff you’re doing when in both the show, Fo3, and Fo4 priority #1 should be finding your fathechild.
It turns into this guy Wilzig’s head because he’s got the cold fusion in his neck. And Cooper is there because of a bounty. Knight Titus (not even worth mentioning) conveniently lands almost right where Wilzig was because “he wants to shoot stuff” then dies.
There’s a lot of conveniences. Like Lucy finding Wilzig twice, and all of the mc’s arriving in Filly around the same time. Wilzig gets the meat grinder prosthetic then promptly obviously dies, a while later, after taking cyanide?
Then the head becomes the mcguffin which is tossed around between Lucy, to Maximus, and Thaddeus (other brotherhood guy) then back to Lucy at the plot’s convenience.
I mean that was it up until the end. Cold Fusion gets activated, and the big reveals happened like the show had much drama to begin with. There’s some here, and there, but it really gets overshadowed by the astronomical attempts at comedy the show makes.
Theme:
The theme is mostly based on the zany Fallout 4, and 76. Which I don’t have much to say other than I don’t like it opposed to the grittiness of every game before them.
The theme of Fallout being the rhetorical “fallout” of humanity with ourselves is very lost, but this is nowhere near a new thing. I hate to see a desolate wasteland be made “fun” rather than asking the relevant questions for our characters, or more importantly ourselves in order to ever prevent something like a Nuclear Holocaust from ever taking place.
TL;DR:
The show doesn’t match up with itself much less the core material. It simply doesn’t know what it wants to be or do. At points it feels like a super hero show. Then it wants to do mystery, and drama which comes off as a poorly written soap opera. Or it’ll usually cash out to be this overly edgy sitcom.

Imo a fallout show/movie needs only ambience. Maybe a radio or jukebox in the background albeit limited?
The Plot:
It’s apparently about looking for Lucy’s dad, but just like the Bethesda games they just do that to get the character out of the vault; like the water chip in Fo1, or GECK in Fo2. And just like the Bethesda games it’s a problem because of the characters agency. Probably more so because we can’t sit here n’ be like “well Lucy doesn’t care about their dad” because this isn’t an RPG where you make the character. This is a pre-established character. It fucks up the player agency with all of the side stuff you’re doing when in both the show, Fo3, and Fo4 priority #1 should be finding your fathechild.
It turns into this guy Wilzig’s head because he’s got the cold fusion in his neck. And Cooper is there because of a bounty. Knight Titus (not even worth mentioning) conveniently lands almost right where Wilzig was because “he wants to shoot stuff” then dies.
There’s a lot of conveniences. Like Lucy finding Wilzig twice, and all of the mc’s arriving in Filly around the same time. Wilzig gets the meat grinder prosthetic then promptly obviously dies, a while later, after taking cyanide?
Then the head becomes the mcguffin which is tossed around between Lucy, to Maximus, and Thaddeus (other brotherhood guy) then back to Lucy at the plot’s convenience.
I mean that was it up until the end. Cold Fusion gets activated, and the big reveals happened like the show had much drama to begin with. There’s some here, and there, but it really gets overshadowed by the astronomical attempts at comedy the show makes.
Theme:
The theme is mostly based on the zany Fallout 4, and 76. Which I don’t have much to say other than I don’t like it opposed to the grittiness of every game before them.
The theme of Fallout being the rhetorical “fallout” of humanity with ourselves is very lost, but this is nowhere near a new thing. I hate to see a desolate wasteland be made “fun” rather than asking the relevant questions for our characters, or more importantly ourselves in order to ever prevent something like a Nuclear Holocaust from ever taking place.
TL;DR:
The show doesn’t match up with itself much less the core material. It simply doesn’t know what it wants to be or do. At points it feels like a super hero show. Then it wants to do mystery, and drama which comes off as a poorly written soap opera. Or it’ll usually cash out to be this overly edgy sitcom.

1) M23, Lulusan SMA IPS, Introvert Akut 2) Cuma punya satu pc mid-range, nothing else 3) Punya pengalaman kerja sebagai Data Labelling (a lil bit of data analytic skills and marketing), sekarang lg nganggur. 4) Bahasa inggris sangat lancar tapi mentok passive (reading/listening,writing), karena biasanya auto bego kalau udh berdialog inggris. 5) Menemukan suatu situs yang dibangun komunitas programmer luar khusus untuk orang-orang awam atau yang gabisa ke univ (name is "The Odin Project")
Seandainya gue selesai mempelajari semua materinya, entah dalam waktu berapa tahun, apakah masih ada startup atau mungkin korporasi yang memberi kesempatan untuk orang tanpa gelar kayak gue?
Seberapa sulit untuk orang yang level pemahaman logikanya standar, untuk bisa menjadi programmer yang bekerja dengan gaji yang cukup untuk hidup sendiri si kota-kota besar? Dan hanya bermodalkan satu situs, The Odin Project tadi?

Although formal Urdu does show Shae, it is never spoken in by Urdu speakers in any natural/normal setting Saying "Koi Khaanay Waali Shae Hi Laa Do" is actually wrong, or going to a shop and "Yey Kya Shai Hai" is also wrong Urdu also does not even have a proper plural for Shae instead the Arabic original "Ashiiyaa" is used, which is even more awkward and rare than Shae for Urdu speakers. So please do not call it an Urdu word. Urdu only really uses Cheez/Cheeze'n/Cheezo'n Punjabis always use Shae naturally, rurally and in any context

Neredeyse beş yıl önce 2018-2019 döneminde mezun oldum. İki farklı özel okula gittim. Edindiğim arkadaşlarımı sevsem bile genel olarak ortamdam nefret ettim. Genel olarak toksik olması ve her zaman bir drama olması. Erkekler, her konuda sidik yarıştırırken, kızların her konunun dedikodusunu yapardı. Bundan özellikle 11. ve 12. Sınıflarda sinirime dokunan bir şeydi.
İtiraf ederim ki, 9 ve 10. Sınıfta dramaların bazılarını ben başlattım çünkü tam bir edgelord'un tekiydim. O günkü hallerime bakıp utanıyorum. Lise hayatımın kalanı boyunca yaptığım her şeye pişman oldum. Zaten 9 ve 10. sınıftaki Ben ve 11 ve 12. sınıftaki ben çok farklı insanlardı.
Gittiğim Liserlerde de, farklı kültürlerden gelen insanlarla okudum. Hiç bir zaman tam olarak onların bir parçası olamadım, olamayacağımı da biliyordum. 9 ve 10. sınıftaki öğrencilerin çoğu, zengin, akademisyen çocuklarıydı. 11 ve 12. sınıfta sonradan zengin olan ailelerin çocukları ile okudum.
Aynı zamanda Lisenin pratik olarak bir hapishane olması da işleri kolaylaştırmıyor. Eve dönene kadar 8 saat, bazen daha fazla süre boyunca aynı sınıf denilen hücrede sevmediğin ve/veya seni sevmeyen insanlarla birlikte kapana kısılmak berbat bir deneyim. Eve gittikten sonra da işin bitmiyor, üstüne üstlük ekstradan ödev yapman gerekiyor.
Lise, kendi eylemlerim yüzünden de psikolojik olarak beni mahvetti ve Lise hayatıma nostaljik olarak bakmıyorum. Bu sub'ın Lise mezunlarına soru: böyle düşünen tek kişi ben miyim?
Edit: Sonradan Zengin olan ailelerin çocuklarına üstten falan bakmıyorum, bazı insanlar nedense o hissiyatı almışlar. Hatta, seviniyorum, niye fakir zengin oldu diye üzüleyim ki?
