Hello, I already have a Lomo'instant Square Kickstarter edition but I don't use it very much due to various reasons, mostly because of the erratic exposure system even with new batteries (the Automat Glass is much more reliable exposure-wise, it has a sort of lens over the sensor which is more "focused" on the scene, similar to the LC-A, and doesn't underexpose with low batteries) and because it doesn't really feel trustworthy in terms of precision and build quality (I noticed that f/22 aperture isn't always centered on the lens, although the pictures don't seem to be influenced by this; the lens cover is flimsy, etc.). Moreover I don't feel comfortable taking pictures when people look at me and the Kickstarter edition sure doesn't help with its flashy and "unprofessional" appearance. I know they're just curious, but nevertheless I feel out of place when they glance at me.
So, I was thinking about buying the black version, but I'd like to know if lomography somehow improved the camera over the years or if it camera remained exactly the same and I'd better waste my money on Instax mini film for my Automat Glass and my Lomo'instant.
Do you have any experience to share? I'd love to dig the square format more, and the Lomo'instant Square is the only somewhat advanced camera at an affordable price.

Originally my skin was somewhat clear but unfortunately during the last two years I've been picking it without even noticing and i ruined it with a lot of scarring and even my arms and legs look the same but i guess let's just focus on my face in this post.
My current routine: i only wash my face with the cerave fomaing cleanser for normal to oily skin. And i wash it 1 to 3 times a day (i know it's bad but my face gets so oily around my nose and sometimes i just need to freshen up before studying so i don't fall asleep)
And i get so uncomfortable with having any sort of product on my face especially that i wear glasses and the area around my nose gets quite oily so i just avoid having more product on that will make me more uncomfortable. Only remedy i found was to close dota and reconnect (hoping the random team i play with pause the fckn game)

Firstly, thanks in advance for any help. I am from a different field and I ended up with a bad RSI (about 8 years now with RSI that isn’t healing) so using the keyboard and bending my elbow is very painful so I had to quit my job and am unemployed.
Ergonomic keyboards and mice are always temporary fixes and don't work permanently. No one else I know in accounting has issues like mine so working hands free in that field seems hard. Working in a non computer role is hard cause of my painful hands and elbows. Jobs without hand usage are hard to find. Though I thought of becoming a psychologist and using Dragon dictation software for reports after a counselling session.
I found youtube videos of programmers using Serenade.ai, Talon, Voqal and a Tobii tracker to code with their voice. Thinking, this lets my hands heal and is a backup for regular mouse and keyboard use if my body needs a break, which I can't get in another office career.
On other sites, I read programmers don't type non stop, but have to think about best ways to structure the code which will be my rest breaks.

I am genuinely losing my mind here.
I have 8 AVD's running Microsoft Windows 11 Enterprise multisession 10.0.22631
All of them are having a fit over PDF files and what the default app should be. Some users need to use Edge and others need Acrobat.
Users keep having issues where their default app changes to something else.
I tried SetUserFTA and kept getting the following error on this command:

This is the same if I try it for Edge:

I tried this on my DC just for the sake of it and it sets the file type immediately with no errors. There are no polices locking any of this down either. The only difference is the DC is Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Datacenter 10.0.20348
The client is going mad and are incredibly pissed off about this. I have had no end of trouble with these servers but I am now allowed to rebuild them due to time etc
The other thing I noticed is the regkey that controls this Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.pdf\UserChoice
has a deny permission on it for the user account currently logged in. If I remove this and try the command again it doesn't have the error but it does delete the key

One day my dad brought a man home and told me he was going to stay until he found a house for himself. He didn’t know him but apparently the man just arrived in the country and my dad said he thinks he’s a good person so he would let him stay in our guest room for 300€ a month (though I don’t think he’s paying him). At first I thought it was just the man but one day I woke up, went to the kitchen and his wife was there. Making eggs. Later on my dad told me she was his wife and she too will be staying with us.
I don’t really mind because I always stay in my room, I don’t like people let alone talking to them but every time I’ve encountered both I’ve always been polite. They ask me for help with their legal documents, jobs, creating accounts etc I help them then go on about my day. I don’t really care. One thing I’ve realized though is our food supply has been running out quick. Especially the eggs. My dad goes to work very early and I’m the one who does the groceries. Apparently every morning they fry like 4-5 eggs for breakfast.

2.3.5 Controversial views and perceptions of the clinical picture of MCAS
2.3.5.1 Alternative diagnostic criteria ("Consensus-2")
In 2011, the group of authors led by Gerald Molderings from the Institute for Human Genetics at the University Hospital Bonn and Lawrence Afrin published their own approach to the diagnosis of MCAS (51). In contrast to the diagnostic criteria of Valent et al. (1), the focus here is more on clinical symptoms. In 2016, Afrin et al. published a list of the most common symptoms that could indicate MCAS (52). Furthermore a questionnaire was developed and published on a website (53), after the answers to which the suspected diagnosis of MCAS could be supported or ruled out depending on the scores obtained. In a recently published publication, the working group referred to their diagnostic criteria as "Consensus-2" and compared and discussed them with the criteria of Valent et al. from 2016 (so-called "Consensus-1") (51). An important difference to the criteria Valent et al. 2016, the authors consider the symptoms not only as the main main criterion, but also a much wider range of previously unexplained symptoms (111 unexplained symptoms (111 possible symptoms (44)) as the most important indication of a a mast cell-mediated cause (14 symptoms in Valent et al. (1)). As The diagnosis of MCAS is considered confirmed if the main criterion is present together with a secondary criterion and possible alternative diagnoses have been excluded. The secondary criteria, in turn, are based on observations made at the time of the 500 people with suspected MCAS at the time of the first publication (44). Further differences between the two consensuses can be found in the laboratory parameters to be determined. For example, the researchers from different disciplines, which according to their own statements can draw on a wealth of experience of of over 10,000 MCAS patients (diagnosed according to their own criteria, nota bene), consider CgA to be specific for mast cells in addition to tryptase, among other things (44). The counterargument of the lower specificity compared to serum tryptase is granted a certain validity in the addendum to the "Consensus-2" published in 2020 (44), however the differential diagnoses with elevated CgA values should be easy to rule out and other markers are also never 100% specific. However, another group was already able to show in 2017 that CgA should not be used as a marker for mast cell disease(49). Furthermore the group of authors of the "Consensus-2" counts heparin as an important marker for MCAS, which should be determined after venous congestion using a blood pressure cuff (54). This maneuver was reported to cause irritation of excessively activatable mast cells with release of heparin in the congested area. Interestingly, the following section mentions markers such as IL-6 or tumor necrosis factor (TNF) which, due to their lack of specificity, are not used in diagnostics, but only in the evaluation of a successful therapy. The authors of "Consensus-2" criticize "Consensus-1" for, among other things the lack of definitions for a treatment response, whereby the "Consensus-2 does not provide any concrete proposals for evaluating or monitoring the response to therapy. Another point of criticism is the lack of exclusion of other comorbidities or differential diagnoses, such as CFS, EDS and irritable bowel syndrome, as clinical indications of MCAS. [...] In return, the AAAAI expressly points out that there is no evidence to date of a connection between CFS or EDS and MCAS. Overall, the clinical picture of MCAS is so complex and heterogeneous that a precise definition of a diagnostic algorithm is not possible at the present time. Molderings et al. therefore propose the acceptance of both the "Consensus1" according to Valent et al. and their "Consensus-2" until more precise findings are available through research. The resulting disadvantages, such as the the poorer comparability of patient populations in scientific studies would weigh less heavily than those resulting from the rejection of "Consensus-2" (an underdiagnosis due to criteria that are too restrictive according to the authors). On the other hand, the large number of non-specific complaints that are supposedly associated with MCAS harbors the risk of inflationary diagnosis.
2.3.5.2 Presentation in the lay press
An expansion of the MCAS definition with the use of non-validated clinical and laboratory chemical parameters for diagnosis is frequently found in the lay media, above all on websites, but also in the specialist literature. Increasingly, patients with (suspected) MCAS are organizing themselves with commitment and are increasingly organizing themselves into interest groups such as MCAS Hope e.V., which campaigns for the recognition of MCAS "as an independent disease". The clinic also does not typically manifest as anaphylaxis, contrary to what is described in the paper, since mediator release in anaphylactic degranulation differs from that in piecemeal degranulation. The measurement of a tryptase elevation in acute relapse, as required by the diagnostic criteria is difficult to implement in practice, whether for reasons of time, capacity or billing. Targeted therapy trials with maximum specificity with regard to all possible decisive mediators are not possible without prior measurement of urinary metabolites and, in the absence of criteria or measuring instruments often do not produce satisfactory results (43). Last but not least, the wide range of possible differential diagnoses, such as for example from the endocrinological, neurological, psychiatric or cardiovascular area, further complicates the diagnosis (43).

I (16M) have been exposed to porn since a young age of I think 8 or 9. Sure enough, when puberty hit me I immediately began to masturbate to porn since 2020. I have begun to hate myself, sometimes acting out irrationally and frequently having arguments with my parents. I can't seem to focus on studies anymore, all that goes into my mind are these two things. The thing that also haunts me is that if I quit these, will I be able to have fun in my life? I know there are other things to enjoy, but I feel I am addicted to an extent that I can't seem to enjoy the other things in life.

Hi everyone, I recently acquired a quest2 and I want to play some steam games on my PC with it. I have poor wifi but good ethernet connection. I use a cable link from the PC to the VR headset but it still plays through wifi. Is that normal ?
I guess I was expecting the computer to run the game, send the data by cable and only have to visualize it on the headset, but for some reason it feels like it gets the data by wifi instead.
Am I doing something wrong or is it required to go through wifi ?

I would like to ask if anyone has any tips to share about looking for job offers in AU/NZ? I've been tryin to find employers who are willing to provide job offers and/or visa sponsorships for over a year now. I've been applying almost everyday for a year now using Seek and LinkedIn for both AU & NZ but I'm not having any luck. For context, I am a Network & Security Engineer with 5+ years of experience in PH.
I am wondering if those who were able to secure job offers and/or visa sponsorships can impart some tips on their approach on how to search, inquire and/or apply? And if there are any other job boards aside from Seek and LinkedIn that they can recommend? Recommended agencies in PH? Referrals would also be very much appreciated if anyone's willing lol.
For AU, I have lodged EOIs last September 2023 for subclass 189 (65 pts), 190 (70 pts), and 491 (80 pts) with ANZSCO CODE: 263111 (Computer Network and Systems Engineer) but have not yet received a pre-invite. That's why I am trying my luck to find an employer that is willing to hire me and provide me a job offer for subclass 482. Is this feasible with AU right now? I know the Working Holiday scheme was announced for AU/PH but I haven't seen any new updates to when this will be implemented.
As for NZ, a job offer from an accredited employer is required to proceed with their SMC, work to residence, and straight to residence visas so there is no way around it but to find a job offer. No luck applying thru Seek, LinkedIn, and on company websites. Also had no luck with the WHV been trying for 5 years now.
I am also thinking about networking and getting referrals but I don't have anyone in my circle that is currently in AU/NZ let alone in my same field. Are there anyone here in the same IT field that can recommend companies that are more willing to hire offshore candidates?
Any tips and recommendations to approach working/migrating to AU/NZ is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
