Simple as title. I've read some comments even from flaired people of 1400 rating (top 5% in Chess.com) that moving all your pawns and promoting them in a won end game is "taunting" the losing opponent. With the context obviously referring to online chess. It is not. In over-the-board games it might be considered rude to resign "early" if your opponent truly wants a learning experience from the game, but opting not to resign when your opponent has enough time (say, 15s or more) to get a mate with material on the board might be considered rude as well.
Online this does not matter. I'm all for learning ticks and trips to get a dirty stalemate on the board. But if you honestly think that your opponent with over a minute on the clock, who has two or more queens on the board against your lone king is taunting YOU, you're mistaken. Most humans want to see the number go up. GothamChess wants to see the letters go up from IM to GM. I want to see my number go up, so as soon as I have a winning endgame, I simplify and make as many premoves as I can. I'm already thinking about the next game, what mistakes I clearly did in this game and why I still won. I'm not spending any more brain power than necessary in KQP v K endgame. IF the endgame needs finesse, then it's good to play it to the end to see if you can quickly come up with faster mates.
If you do not respect your own time enough or think that you need to play the game to the end to avoid a tilt, go for it. But if you want to see your number go up, take the L, resign in a lost position and move on to the next game or go through the game to see where your mistake was.

I love mine, I recommend this alllll the time to people, I think it's fantastic. However, as it is Our Generation, some parts of the wardrobe are a bit cheap. The wardrobe uses plastic catch and release "hardware", and the other catches on my wardrobe are fine. However, this catch for the door went out a while ago, so the door would never stay fully closed, always poking out a little, or swinging wide open if you had to carry or move the cabinet around. It was incredibly annoying. So, about 3 or 4 years ago, I resolved that I would buy a catch at the hardware store and replace it. Then many years passed, until a few weeks ago when I moved into an apartment and started regularly visiting the hardware store for other things. I looked at the magnetic catches they had and decided to get one and try to replace the plastic catch. These magnetic catches aren't super expensive if you're just getting one, I think this one was 2 or 3 dollars, however if you were going to replace every catch in the cabinet it would start to get expensive. I looked for smaller catches but I couldn't find any in the hardware store, they may have smaller ones online. While installing this catch, I decided not to drill any new holes. Not like I couldn't, I own a drill and maybe I would have figured out what size of drill bit to use and such. However 1) The wood is so thin that I fear the second you drill you'll just pop right out on the other side. Not always what you want. 2) Again, finding the right drill bit to make a hole that the Our Generation screws can go into was going to be incredibly difficult. So, the first step I did was to remove the plastic catch inside the unit and screw the new one in. I used all the same screws from this cabinet. I also took out the table tray that is held with ribbon and hinges a while ago, so that gave me some extra screws to work with as well, in addition to the ones that held the old catch. Photo 2 is how everything turned out. I put the screw on the right side of the catch, into the same hole that had just held the plastic catch. That tightened nicely, then I had to decide what to do for the other side. I thought about drilling or trying to make some kind of screw hole, but in the end I just super glued it. Not the most formal solution but the rest of it had gone so well, so I compromised. For the door, the metal piece that came with the hatch had a hole that fit perfectly over existing holes from the plastic catch hardware, however when I lined the holes up the metal came up above the door about 1/8", so I asked my dad to help me cut the hardware. We clamped the piece in a vice and the metal was very soft, so we were able to just use a hack saw and cut right through it. Some filing is required at the end to make sure it isn't super sharp. If I wasn't able to do that, I probably would have gone back to the hardware store to try and find something similar to suit and just not used the plate from the catch. This is the plate that came with the catch. I had my dad cut it down with a hack saw, the metal was very soft and it was a super quick process. Fully closed and NOT going to swing open randomly!!! Once the super glue dried, this is how it turned out! The inside catch ended up a little farther back than I wanted it, so technically it's not super flush, you can see the shadows over that part of the door from it if you look closely, but it stays fully closed all the time now! I currently don't plan to replace any more of the catches right now, but if they do go out I know exactly what I'll do! |

This method even allows you to play Online Coop with friends who bought the game on Steam (as long as they download Goldberg emu) and will be explained further in this tutorial.
This method uses a combination of GoldbergEmu, ZeroTier, SeamlessCoopMod, EldenModLoader, and ModEngine2.
Canât guarantee 100%, but almost certain that this will work when Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC is out. Reason why? - Download Elden Ring (make sure every player has got the same exact version, for example Elden Ring v1.10)
- Download ONLY steam_appid.txt and steam_emu.ini: https://github.com/K3V1991/How-to-install-Seamless-Co-Op-Mod-for-Elden-Ring/tree/main/Game Put these 2 files in a new folder, so you know where they are. We will need them shortly
- Download Goldberg Emulator: https://mr_goldberg.gitlab.io/goldberg_emulato click the long highlighted number '475342f0d8b2bd7eb0d93bd7cfdd61e3ae7cda24' to download
- Extract it and open the folder.
- Find steam_api64.dll file in there. Copy and paste it into the same folder where you saved steam_appid.txt and steam_emu.ini
- Install Elden Ring. IMPORTANT! When you install the game make sure to have proper directory, otherwise ModEngine wonât work. It should be like this ELDEN RING/Game. Doesnât matter where you choose to install it, but make sure the last 2 folders are ELDEN RING and inside it, Game folder. All the game files should be in here. For example mine is this: D:/Games/ELDEN RING/Game/
- After installing Elden Ring open ELDEN RING/Game folder. Now, copy and paste steam_appid.txt, steam_emu.ini and steam_api64.dll that you downloaded in step 2) and 3).
- For Steam players, back up *steam_api64.dll** before overwriting it. Youâll need this file to revert back to your Steam version of the game. Rename it to .backup Example: steam_api64.dll.backup. When you want to revert it, just delete .backup*
- In your Game folder also create a .txt file. Name it exactly this: steam_interfaces.txt (nothing needs to be inside it)
- Okay. Eden Ring and Goldberg Emulator is done. Now, download the following 3 Mods:
- Elden Mod Loader: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/117
- Mod Engine 2: https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases
- Seamless Co-Op: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/510
- Make sure all players are on the version of SeamlessCoop. Example: Seamless Co-op BETA 1.5.1
- Depending on which version of Elden Ring you have, you may need to check the compatibility. Download an older version of Seamless Coop that supports your Elden Ring version.
- First, install Elden Mod Loader. Just need to copy & paste 3 files into your Game folder: mods folder, dinput8.dll and mod_loader_config.ini
- Install Mod Engine 2. Copy and paste it into your Game folder the following files: mod folder, modengine2 folder, config_eldenring.toml, launchmod_eldenring.bat and modengine2_launcher.exe
- Install Seamless Co-OP. Again, copy and paste into your Game folder the following files: SeamlessCoop folder and launch_elden_ring_seamlesscoop.exe
- Important
- First, launch the game using launch_elden_ring_seamlesscoop.exe that you've just put in.
- When the game opens, it should say "Welcome to Seamless Co-op Mod".
- We are going to set up Elden Ring to launch via Mod Engine 2. We can do this by running modengine2_launcher.exe file.
- Make a shortcut for this and move it to you desktop. This will be the new way of launching the game. Change the icon to EldenRing.exe
- We also need to move two of the Seamless Co-op files to your mods folder. Your can find this in your Game folder. ELDEN RING\Game\mods\
- Open Seamless Co-Op folder and move seamlesscoopsettings.ini and elden_ring_seamless_coop.dll into mods folder. Important to move the files and not copy paste.
- Whilst you're at it, open seamlesscoopsettings.ini and change your password. The password has to be the same for you and your friends if you want to play together
- Test if seamless is working by launching the game using modengine2_launcher.exe shortcut. You should be greeting again with"Welcome to Seamless Co-Op" message.
- Every player will need a different Username and SteamID in order to connect.
- Open your Roaming AppData directory: C:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/. Alternatively, press WIN + R, then type %appdata%
- Open Goldberg SteamEmu Saves folder, then settings folder. Edit account_name.txt and change your Username.
- Next, open user_steam_id.txt and change the number slightly for every player. (I just changed the last two digits)
ZeroTier Tutorial:
- Download ZeroTier
- Only the host will need to create an account with ZeroTier to create and manage servers/ networks.
- Create a New Network and join in it via ZeroTier app.
- The Host will need to accept/authorise each player who joined the server via ZeroTier website.
- Once all player have joined and the host has authorised them on the network you can now launch Elden Ring and enjoy Seamless Coop with your friends :)

I subscribed to an online service around that time and let him use it thinking i dont want anything in return although sharing it with him causes some negatives to me and he shares nothing. On multiple ocasions ive asked him to let me borrow cds to play games but he always makes up some excuse and just ends up not giving them to me although he doesnt even use them, and he has this one cd that i really want but its with his friend that doesnt use it so i asked him for it but told to me to go get it myself.

Just when i tougtht i didnt have enough things to worry about i developed a new thing to keep me up at nigth, and that is growing older, i dont know if this stems from an unfufilled life and the fact that i never got to enjoy my childhood and teenage years and young adult years, but its making me really depressed, when i was young all i ever did was play games everyday all day, i never had friends, i suffered bullying, abusive parents, and never did things young people do, among other stuff, wich obviously affects me now and makes my life even worse, its a kinda of fucked up Spiral, also i love the internet, gaming and art, is all i have and i realize with age im gonna grow further and further apart from it and possibly lose it, and its making me really scared for the future, i dont have family, no parents no nothing, no friends, nothing at all only gaming and internet.
Like for example:
Anime, recently i gave become a huge fan of the médium, i dabbled in it when i was younger but only after 21 or 22 that i really started being a huge fan and consumer, replacing even gaming, but as i age i notice that im gonna reach a point where i dont relate to the characters and thats scares me, i still relate to the characters like for examples i still relate with denji more than aki, i relate to the younger characters and not the older Ones, idk of that means im behind maturity wise but im afraid of losing that as well.
When it comes to dating i feel like late teens and early 20s is the best time, woman look more attractive and people are less boring, as y grow older i notice myself not finding any atrrative or interesting people.
I also feel very insecure and jealous/resentfull towards people younger, yet they have all i want, family, friends, experience and talent, i feel so sad and anxious seeing them have these things i cant describe it i feel so bad and it keeps me up at nigth, i wanna draw and be good at it but i cant seem to be consistent, sometimes i draw decent, others not so much and i fear its too late to chase my dreams cuz im too old, since others have such advantages already either it be support from family or experience and drive.

- Internet, i think the internet usted to be better, less echo chambers, more genuine simple content, and better youtube algorythm, the internet feels so bad now with woke garbage, manosphere etc, so many ideologies polutting it and shoved down my spine, but even then i still enjoy it, i like that fact that i can do asigments while listening to music or videos, i like the memes, the content, the fact that its relatable and made for me, the emulation, the games, posting about screenshot or art i make etc, i love all of it, when i grow older, im gonna start to lose it, becuase its gonna change for the new generation, and i will lose one of the things that make me happy, im gonna meet less and less people there, etc and that scares me, its gonna become less and less relatable, its gonna have language i dont understand, its gonna have new trends, and its not gonna be made for me, im gonna meet less and less people my age, heck most i see are like 20 now so its hard to make online friends, i usted to meet allot of online friends now as i grow older its becoming incresingly harder, idk if its my age but speaking and making friends with as much time and willingness as you is rarer and rarer now, and i would say Impossible, at least seeing how it is now i havent made a long lasting online friend since forever, this applies to gaming as well, comparison, when i was young like in my late teens i found like a shit ton of friends in gaming on rainbown six siege and overwatch now i cant for some reason and everyone is super Young.

Just when i tougtht i didnt have enough things to worry about i developed a new thing to keep me up at nigth, and that is growing older, i dont know if this stems from an unfufilled life and the fact that i never got to enjoy my childhood and teenage years and young adult years, but its making me really depressed, when i was young all i ever did was play games everyday all day, i never had friends, i suffered bullying, abusive parents, and never did things young people do, among other stuff, wich obviously affects me now and makes my life even worse, its a kinda of fucked up Spiral, also i love the internet, gaming and art, is all i have and i realize with age im gonna grow further and further apart from it and possibly lose it, and its making me really scared for the future, i dont have family, no parents no nothing, no friends, nothing at all only gaming and internet.
Like for example:
Anime, recently i gave become a huge fan of the médium, i dabbled in it when i was younger but only after 21 or 22 that i really started being a huge fan and consumer, replacing even gaming, but as i age i notice that im gonna reach a point where i dont relate to the characters and thats scares me, i still relate to the characters like for examples i still relate with denji more than aki, i relate to the younger characters and not the older Ones, idk of that means im behind maturity wise but im afraid of losing that as well.
When it comes to dating i feel like late teens and early 20s is the best time, woman look more attractive and people are less boring, as y grow older i notice myself not finding any atrrative or interesting people.
I also feel very insecure and jealous/resentfull towards people younger, yet they have all i want, family, friends, experience and talent, i feel so sad and anxious seeing them have these things i cant describe it i feel so bad and it keeps me up at nigth, i wanna draw and be good at it but i cant seem to be consistent, sometimes i draw decent, others not so much and i fear its too late to chase my dreams cuz im too old, since others have such advantages already either it be support from family or experience and drive.
What do i do? Im 23 and im probs gonna quit college, i was a neet b4 and it was more fun than now.

Like for example:
- Internet, i think the internet usted to be better, less echo chambers, more genuine simple content, and better youtube algorythm, the internet feels so bad now with woke garbage, manosphere etc, so many ideologies polutting it and shoved down my spine, but even then i still enjoy it, i like that fact that i can do asigments while listening to music or videos, i like the memes, the content, the fact that its relatable and made for me, the emulation, the games, posting about screenshot or art i make etc, i love all of it, when i grow older, im gonna start to lose it, becuase its gonna change for the new generation, and i will lose one of the things that make me happy, im gonna meet less and less people there, etc and that scares me, its gonna become less and less relatable, its gonna have language i dont understand, its gonna have new trends, and its not gonna be made for me, im gonna meet less and less people my age, heck most i see are like 20 now so its hard to make online friends, i usted to meet allot of online friends now as i grow older its becoming incresingly harder, idk if its my age but speaking and making friends with as much time and willingness as you is rarer and rarer now, and i would say Impossible, at least seeing how it is now i havent made a long lasting online friend since forever, this applies to gaming as well, comparison, when i was young like in my late teens i found like a shit ton of friends in gaming on rainbown six siege and overwatch now i cant for some reason and everyone is super Young.
