2024.05.16 23:34 Forsaken-Map8502 Finding out I was second choice..

Hey all.. I’m a teacher let’s call me Sarah and another capable teacher friend Brenda. So I’m a fifth grade special educator and I’m tenured. My capable teacher friend Brenda is not tenured just yet in a fourth grade bridge class. We are good friends. Not upset with her at all.
Today morning my admin had moved my punch card from my slot and had kept it in the main office. I went to go and find it and the middle school assistant principal smiled at me and said I was to go to another school for a professional development. I said okay but I was overwhelmed as is because it is nerve wracking as is to find parking and to have to jet to another place so early in the morning, leave my coteacher behind with my 28 kids with special needs. Anyways she tells me I am to go with the elementary school assistant principal to the pd. I text my elementary assistant principal and ask if we can go together and she says yes. While waiting for our Uber she looks noticeably stressed and not really paying attention to my commentary or anything while speaking. She was frazzled which isn’t her norm. I attend this meeting with her where it’s just me and her at a meeting for assistant principals regarding curriculum for the next school year. After the pd I asked her why I was notified last minute about it and she said that she was only supposed to go to it initially. Regardless, she asked that I start on some planning which I knew would be in the hands of my friend Brenda. When I see Brenda for lunch, we talk and she tells me she was supposed to go to this PD and that was kept behind for Nysst test. Only someone with certification can test those kids.
I’m not upset with my friend. I’m disappointed to be a second choice. If you didn’t want me as your first choice, why bother asking me at all. My classroom is important and the structure for my sped students is important.
I feel shitty for being a second choice.. I fell like a nobody.
Why choose me at all if it was directed to assistant principals and I wasn’t even a first choice?
Thanks for helping me out.
Sincerely,
Not jealous, just sad

2024.05.16 22:57 lorienne22 I don't know what to do, or rather what I can do, but I need to do it soon. Maybe my situation sounds familiar?

Looking for advice on becoming OE if anyone is feeling froggy. I just don't know what I could do, but debt keeps slowly piling up and there's no good end in sight. Crap keeps happening and we add a little more debt each time. You all seem to have yourselves together, but I also think you are working with more knowledge & experience in the fields that make OE possible. I'm going to apologize for the length in advance.
I am 46. Intelligent, but far too dumb to do anything with it in high school when I would have qualified for full free rides to college if I'd put any effort into it. They called it gifted and put me in special & advanced classes. I outscored the valedictorian on the advanced grammar final without studying. This is relevant; I swear. I just want to lay out what I'm capable of despite the path I put myself on due to early poor decisions.
Graduated at 17 despite no effort (I started school early; back then you could do that if the kid tested high enough), working full time right away in food service. Got pregnant at 18, got a job at the bank. Started as teller and ended as the Vault Manager. Over the next few years, I did switchboard for a large construction company and Club Secretary for one of the local country clubs. Turns out I thrive in support roles. I'm a people pleaser.
Still in my early 20s, I was a legal secretary for eight years specializing in everything but criminal and domestic. I can do transcription, correspondence, and manage calendars. I can create pleadings, estate planning documents, rental and purchase agreements, corporate filings and even some PI work. Mostly my dictation for creation of documents went like, "We need a will. Use the Smith's as an example. Each other's PRs, then the daughter. Everything to each other then the kids, per stirpes. Separate share trust with distro at 25 and 30." I cannot create a full will with all the legalese, but I can edit an existing template to fit the customer. By the end, I was reminding the atty of the provisions he was forgetting to add to some agreements.
After that, I started my Exec Asst gigs. Three years for the CEO at a healthcare facility until they eliminated my position and four years for the President of a manufacturing facility. That's when they promoted my boss, he headed back to Germany, and I got the boss from hell. He fired me for refusing to come in on my day off to work for free (not to mention the subtle fat shaming). I guess they do that in Belgium, but not here buddy. HR tried to tell him. He didn't listen. I'd not been fired before, but I was mad and took the free vacation.
After unemployment and my little settlement, I took a small job as a receptionist seven years go because Exec Asst jobs are not a dime a dozen in this Midwest region and I didn't want to waste all of my savings being lazy. I tried to leave within a few months because I did find something better that still had quite a commute, but my employer had issues in the past filling this role so they threw a bunch of money at me to get me to stay. I've been answering a busy phone on top of other tasks I was assigned once they realized that I could do more than answer a phone, but still got exec asst pay. Only recently were they able to find another receptionist so I could focus all my time on being the boss' asst. I guess four lines lighting up at once isn't something everyone can handle.
I have a lot of down time while on the job, in office. I can't do remote for them because most of my job is harassing my boss to do his (the joke is he pays extra for the harassment), and another physical job is impossible because the commute is just over forty-five minutes each way. I have an eleven hour day. I'm physically driving for an hour and a half, I'm lunching for an hour, but I'm only actually working about 2-3 hours on some days while I'm here. I do like it, especially the people and my boss(es) are great. It's not overly challenging unless you count flighty customers who can't seem to decide what day they want my tech to fly there for service, and I don't have to take stress home. Kids are grown, so I only need to be in the room with the spouse for "quality time" once I get home at 6pm.
I'm proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, Google office programs, I've learned some user-unfriendly management software over the years like SAP and Prophet 21. It's been awhile since I've done much Adobe, but I can get through it and make some damned good looking business cards. I book travel and coordinate meetings, I plan events, I create flyers (Canva for this because I'm not that creative), etc. Basically, lots of support tasks and I just figure out what I don't already know. That's what Google's for, right?
I've not done any social media management nor QuickBooks, but I think learning one of those might put me in the direction I need...maybe? Seems like those might be things that would make finding remote work easier, but I'm only speculating. I want to ask you all, but that seems rude...and time consuming.
I need something either sporadic enough or with enough deadline leeway I could do it on my down time or even a tad after I get home in the evening if I couldn't get to it during the day. I was thinking Virtual Asst, but that market seems flooded with people from overseas willing to work for nothing. I can do cheap tasks, but I can't work for $5/hour. Maybe reach out to some law offices for spill over dictation? I did do that over my unwanted sabbatical through a service. I think I'm going to have to learn to market myself, maybe. I do still have a foot pedal.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Do you have advice for me on how to get started? Do you have a suggestion for what I could pull off based on what you read about me? Do you have suggestions on things I need to do/learn before I even attempt something?
Any knowledge you wish to bless me with would be greatly appreciated.

2024.05.16 22:30 dopaminewellbeing How to Use the SOAP Bible Study Method

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a simple yet effective Bible study method called SOAP that I've found really helpful in my own spiritual growth. SOAP stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer, and it's a structured way to dive deep into the Word of God.
Here's how you can use the SOAP method:
  1. Scripture (S): Choose a passage of Scripture to read. It could be a single verse, a chapter, or even a whole book, depending on your preference and time availability. Write down the passage you've chosen.
  2. Observation (O): Reflect on what you've read. What does the passage say? What is its main message or theme? Are there any words or phrases that stand out to you? Write down your observations.
  3. Application (A): Consider how the passage applies to your life. What is God saying to you through this Scripture? How can you apply its message to your thoughts, actions, or relationships? Write down how you plan to apply what you've learned.
  4. Prayer (P): Close your study with prayer. Thank God for His Word and ask Him to help you live out what you've learned. Pray for guidance, strength, and wisdom to apply the Scripture to your life.
Example:
Scripture (S): Psalm 23:1-4 (NIV) "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
Observation (O): This passage portrays God as a caring shepherd who provides for and protects His people. It speaks of His guidance, provision, and comfort, even in difficult times. The imagery of green pastures and quiet waters evokes a sense of peace and rest in God's presence.
Application (A): I can trust God to provide for all my needs and lead me in the right direction. Even when I face challenges or uncertainties, I can have faith that God is with me, comforting and guiding me. This reminds me to rely on God's strength and not my own understanding.
Prayer (P): Dear God, thank you for being my shepherd and caring for me. Help me to trust you more and follow your guidance in my life. When I face difficult times, may I remember that you are with me, comforting and protecting me. Amen.
Feel free to adapt this template to fit your own study or explore different passages of Scripture using the SOAP method!
By following the SOAP method, you can deepen your understanding of Scripture, grow closer to God, and experience transformation in your life. I encourage you to give it a try and see how God speaks to you through His Word. If you have any questions or want to share your SOAP study, feel free to do so in the comments below.
Happy studying!

2024.05.16 22:24 adambombchannel Something I did for a USA client as a consulting project: capture website visitors via cookie and send them an email within 24 hours

*email automatically sent in 24 hours (follows a template I wrote but AI generated with GPT)
Was wondering what people think about the potential privacy concerns. Specifically testing emails where we MENTION the page that a user visits in an email too them.
In case you're unaware, RB2B offers basically an improved version of website visitor tracking and enriching, like what 6sense does but in my opinion better. important: not at all affiliated with them
Maybe it seems a little Big Brother but...here's what the flow looks like:
Website Traffic Visit -> Back End Lead Enrichment -> Clay Table ICP Filter -> Clay Table AI Email Creation -> Outreach Upload and Sequence Creation
We're capturing about 10-12% of website traffic as a potentially qualified lead all with AI. We launched it this week and have started to see some positive replies!
Wondering if anyone is using RB2B.com or testing Clay workflows with it?
*technically* they want you to upgrade to the 500$ a month plan that lets you webhook and enriches BUT.... you can use automations to take the FREE slack data they send on the trial plan to capture leads too if you're savvy.
Currently testing that too

2024.05.16 18:55 TopChook Observation pressure

Our SIP visited yesterday, I was told to expect him at any time in the morning. Fair enough, my lessons were all planned out for the day as usual. I was observed for 25 minutes by the SIP, HOD, and assistant head then I found out I was the only person in the school who was observed. The SIP was looking at an entire curriculum area, other teachers in my department had lessons at the same time, but nobody else was observed. Is this odd?

2024.05.16 18:36 UpAcreek62 READ this before you accept!

Salut à tous, My goal in this post is to share my raw TAPIF experience from this year now that I’m home and have reflected. I will be listing challenges that I and others faced (I’ll be discussing the cons rather than the pros).
For reference, I’m American and was placed in primary in the Académie d’Orléans-Tours. I had already worked 8-5 in a school the previous year so I came in with a fair amount of savings and work experience working in language schools.
• You might have to act as the sole English teacher of your school(s). This includes creating curriculum sometimes from scratch with little to no guidance. The term “assistant” can be very misleading. At the primary level it is unfortunately common that you will be leading 30+ students per class while the teacher uses this time for a coffee break. Some might think you are an intervenant(e) and not an assistant(e) who takes over the whole classroom even though they have worked with assistants in the past. Even your principals might not know your role (or care). It’s your responsibility to advocate for yourself in order not to be taken advantage of and break the cycle so the next assistant doesn’t have to go through this.
• You might have a housing crisis. I arrived and spent nearly $2000 to stay in an airbnb for a month. I didn’t have a French guarantor and with the low tapif salary it is virtually impossible to find an apt through an agency. They will reject you. I did the online guarantor called “VISALE” and they granted me a max rent of 380€ a month. I applied to live with two French roommates “en coloc” but couldn’t be accepted as the rent was 450€ and VISALE granted me 380. I eventually was so desperate to have a permanent address (for bureaucratic stuff) that I found an apt on leboncoin with an independent landlord who didn’t need me to supply any guarantor. The rent only had water included and was 820€ a month (the entirety of our monthly salary). I had to, without any help, order and install the wifi and tv box and set up an electricity account through EDF. BEWARE if you didn’t know- electricity/heating in France is extremely expensive. I ended up having to keep my heat around 15 C (59 F) in order to not have the bill exceed 100€ per month during the cold months (I.e. the duration of our assistantships). When I moved out 2 weeks ago, the landlord blew up on me saying everything was “dégueulasse” or disgustingly filthy- which surprise it wasn’t- it’s a typical tactic to take money out of your initial deposit (dépôt de garantie), which he plans on doing. You will be vulnerable as a foreigner in this position. I would recommend NOT renting an apt by yourself unless it’s last resort as it was for me.
• The nature of the program can be VERY isolating. As others have emphasized, this is NOT any way similar to a study abroad. No one is keeping tabs on you or making sure you are adjusting well. Depending on your schools and schedule, you might not be able to form close relationships with your colleagues either. You MUST be okay with spending time by yourself in a foreign country. Many people end up leaving at Christmas because of these difficulties, usually citing they have a “family situation” to tend to back at home. I encourage you, if single, to try to befriend or date French nationals, as it will provide extra support and protection to you as a foreigner living in France.
• Mental Health- just to expand on my point above, you will need decent mental health to complete this program. If you are on medication it’s best to see if you can ween off before coming to France as certain meds are hard to find or impossible for doctors to prescribe. For example, adderall, for ADHD, is virtually impossible to have prescribed in Europe.
• Seasonal Depression- Unless you are from the Pacific Northwest in the US, you are more than likely going to experience some seasonal depression as the majority of France becomes very gloomy during the months of the assistantship. If you are from California, Florida, or anywhere in the south or southwest, you will more than likely miss seeing the sun more than once every two weeks. In my region, it wasn’t uncommon for it to rain several times a week with no glimpse of the sun. Of course, if you are placed in the Côte d’Azur or DOM TOMs this will not apply to you.
• Incompetent Prof Refs/Conseillère Pédagogique–your person of contact who will meet with at the beginning of the program may very well be misinformed and useless. I was told by people at my rectorat that I wouldn’t receive my carte vitale (health insurance) as it’s only for French nationals. When I tried to explain that we are all entitled to health insurance with this job they became hostile towards me. Again ADVOCATE for yourself!!! I learned more from the WhatsApp chat and Facebook group than I ever did asking my schools or local rectorat for help. I would have literally NEVER received my carte vitale if I had listened to my “superiors” in this program. They told me incorrect things several times.
Thank you for reading this far! These are some of the realities I and others encountered. I plan on making a list of pros as well if anyone would be interested. (:

2024.05.16 18:36 iam_batman27 The best Web development curriculum - After O/Ls ?

This post will be useful for anyone trying to learn web development or seeking a career change.

small advice for After O/Ls - You have 6-8 months until the results are released..spend your time wisely. Don't spend it scrolling through Instagram and watching all the movies you missed while studying for O/Ls. Take a 10-day break, including 5 days to plan the next 6 months. If you aren't in the Maths or Bio stream, don't worry about going to classes because other streams will start another batch for students joining after O/Ls. Don’t get caught up to normalizing. "I don't know what's my purpose..." Basically, you won't find something you don't search for. If you waste time scrolling through, looking at people who say, "I'm 25 and I don't know my purpose," while they've found a purpose and are making money from it.Try different things. You haven't tried anything yet “you say you don't know what your purpose is” – batman. Just think for a moment.

theodinproject.com offers a full-stack web development curriculum, completely free from start to end unlike some other courses that gives you only an introduction this curruclum teaches you everything from how to deploy to how to get hired. Full-stack in the sense you will learn to develop the front end and the backend. To put how great this curriculum and the tools they teach you can literally develop a clone of any social media platform Best part they make you do that and with project like that in your portfolio/CV you will just get a job easily. The best thing about this curriculum is that it's developed using the newest technologies are being used and the curriculum is regularly updated. In this course, you will learn tools and technologies that aren't even taught in 10-lakh private degrees. A small rant about private degrees…don't choose that path if you want to learn. They are the worst. They taught us nothing, just some old tools not even used in the market, the oldest versions possible and no one cares about your degree in the IT field. So yeah, The Odin Project. It will take approximately 8 months to 1 year to fully complete, and with the knowledge and the projects they do, you can land a job, even remotely. The best part is they also teach you how to get hired…they have a sperate module that teaches you how to get hired don’t believe me check this out. What they teach are is so advanced that if you apply to jobs in Sri Lanka, you will just get in. It's a project-based curriculum, which means you will put into practice everything you learn; therefore, you get hands-on experience. This curriculum will teach you how to think like a programmer, and etc. I highly recommend everyone to check it out. This curriculum is really good that it can be a starting point for any development apps, games or even if you want to start a startup. You can develop powerful complex websites using the technologies they teach. FOR ANYONE THINKING AI IS COMING, WEB DEVELOPMENT IS NO FUTURE.....bruhhh just name something online that isn't a website. From Reddit , instagram , OPEN AI even Office 365 is a website. You think AI can replace developers to create complex websites like these? Nah, not yet, at least not for another 50 years. Simply put, accountants didn't disappear when calculators were invented. AI will be like a calculator to developers…it will make your work easy, and people will evolve with that, but it's not anywhere near to replacing developers. Read through the link below.
Read through the introduction they have explained everything better than I have - https://www.theodinproject.com/lessons/foundations-how-this-course-will-work
My recommended path for anyone interested in this curriculum
Do this Python course first - https://cs50.harvard.edu/python/2022/
it will make your journey easier learning languages, as Python is the easiest language to learn. So, when you understand the basics easily, you can quickly learn other languages because basics are the same in every language, literally.
Then, go through this curriculum, do the foundation part. If you like web development, continue and choose the Node.js path because in Sri Lanka, you can find jobs easily for this framework as it's more popular. So, as a backup plan, if you don't land a job abroad, you can land a job in Sri Lanka easily like I said, if you don't like.. well, you know what programming is and how basic websites are developed, and you can develop too.
Spend your time wisely, thanks.

2024.05.16 18:36 bigsauce456 Preparing as a senior in college

I started college in 2022 and am graduating early in spring 2025 with what is essentially a BA in computer science (but is very similar to the BS curriculum and I took most of the same courses, just more flexibility with what is required). I started working as a part time web developer for my uni early last year, temporarily becoming the manager of the team for a semester, and I'm still keeping the development job until I graduate. I also got involved in various CS community-related organizations like the uni's ACM chapter.
After my freshman year I got a SWE summer internship at a F50 company. While I made connections there and was able to extend my internship into this summer, I was forced to give up the internship as they changed their company policy to not allow full time remote workers anymore, and the nearest office is 3 hrs away from me. The company did not offer housing and I did not have the money to find a place by the office for the summer, and I wasn't willing to spend 6 hrs of my day driving. They did this a few months ago, and with such short notice I wasn't able to find a new internship. My manager there did mention that they would keep in touch with me for full time positions when I'm graduating.
This summer I'm returning back to a part time PC technician job I've held since early 2021, which is pretty hardware oriented but I'm also tasked with developing the in-house inventory management software so it's not a total loss in my eyes. I plan to work both the PC tech and the uni web development jobs until graduation.
With that being said, I'm approaching my final year of college and I feel a bit nervous for lack of better words, especially in this market. While I think I have a decent amount of work experience in tech for a new grad, I'm worried I haven't had the time for competitive programming, side projects (not to say I haven't started any, just found them difficult to continue between school and work), open source contributions, etc. I think I've done maybe one Leetcode problem in my freshman year of college.
Aside from work and school, I plan to spend my senior year polishing my resume and some interview prep done. What else would y'all recommend for someone in their final year of their CS degree?

2024.05.16 18:11 Superb-Meringue8034 Laptop's for CS (Cyber Sec/Comp Sci) Majors

I am just about to start college from hs. I would say my budget is around (ideally) a $1000 or $1500. I have been doing a lot of research, not sure if cyber security is my final major but I am hovering around IT, Cyber Sec, and Comp Sci. I am pretty good at math but I suck at Physics and Geo.
I have been watching videos on youtube and seen a lot of people in the Comp Sci and some in the Cyber Sec field using Mac's. Most of the students that I have watch recommend a Pro or Air with 16gb ram. I know there could be certain problems with virtualization, programs, etc.. But I am willing to work around that, if possible. I don't have a curriculum yet but I was planning to shoot an email to the head of the Engineering and Computing College (or a certain dept) and see what students have mainly used and whats best for the program. I have been using Windows for the past 5 or so years. I have seen people saying just use ThinkPad but it is not for me. I am looking to upgrade and see what Mac Os is like on a day to day basis (I do own other apple products - ecosystem).
I am personally more on the mac book pro (MBP) but the air (MBA) is definitely cheaper. I have seen that some people have said to get the intel based mac's but the people that own those say the battery sucks (around 2-4 fours before charge). Ideally, I want to have a setup in my dorm (2 monitors) with switches between my main (used for gaming mostly) windows PC and my laptop.
Wants - Spec's wise:
32gb RAM M1 or M2 CPU MBP (ideally)

2024.05.16 17:58 JanFromEarth I am beginning to wonder about the relevance of local Democratic Parties

I have been a loyal party officer and volunteer for many years now and I really worry about the local (county) parties ever being relevant again. There are a ton of great ideas out there but no real template for getting out the Democratic vote. I would love to see a set of proposed metrics (increase in Dem voter turnout?) and a project plan for the county, ward, and precinct officers. Just my humble opinion.

I recently opened a "Care Credit" account/card to help finance a veterinary bill. Otherwise I don't have any credit cards. I have a car loan that I pay monthly. I am quite responsible!
I filled out the template, hopefully this is enough info! Thank you for any help you can provide!

2024.05.16 16:57 lime-basil Is still worth fighting for about constructive dismissal?

I need advice kung worth it pang pinush ko ung issue ko with DOLE? Nag report ako using E-SENA about this matter. I worked with the company for almost 7yrs. Here's the story.
Monday, we had an internal meeting which he asked kung sino ung mga pwedeng pumunta sa gathering na request niya, I told him na hindi ako pwede ng Wednesday so Thursday and Friday lang ako makakapunta, he accepted that. Sent a chat saying na dapat 9:30AM by Thursday dapat andun na ko, so okay sige walang problema.
Tuesday morning, dun ko lang naalala na meron pala akong scheduled sa hospital ng umaga, so nag message ako sakanya to ask if it's okay na malate kasi hindi ko nakita sa calendar ko na may schedule para ako sa hospital. We jumped on a call and I admitted na mali ko un, and if it's not okay with him na malate ako a few hours, ireresched ko nalang, I thought at first papayag siya kasi madalas health priority first siya talaga, but that didn't happen. He asked if it is a death threatening issue, so sabi ko hindi naman and okay lang na iresched ko kung hindi okay sakanya, then he bursted on telling me na hindi na ko willing to work, uncommitted na ko, hindi na ko mapag kakatiwalaan and I should pass my resignation. So I was shocked and nag sorry ako, ipapa schedule ko nalang ung sa hospital ko, and ayaw ko mag resign, but he insisted, paulit ulit lang siya ng sinasabi hanggang sa mag drop na kami sa call.
I didn't submit my resignation letter, until nag call kami ulit after a few hours, I thought okay na siya, na baka tanggapin niya na ung sorry ko, but no. What he did is he forced me padin na mag pasa, dahil nga first work ko siya eversince and wala akong masyadong alam about sa tanggalan, nag papanic na ko and natatakot lalo na sa work background ko or kung ano ung pwede niyang ikalat, so sabi niya mag papasa ako ng resignation letter or mag papa lawyer kami, so dun ako natakot, kasi wala naman nga kong alam, shock na ko sa nang yayari at wala naman ako pambayad sa lawyer kung sakali. Ayaw niya ko paalisin sa call ng hindi ako nag papasa, sabi niya pa generate nalang ako sa AI, or gawan niya nalang ako tapos itype ko, so dahil takot na ko sa nang yayari, I was forced to write and pass a templated resignation letter, while writing that letter, he told me na paulit ulit na hindi naman na ko mapag kakatiwalaan, na nakakasagabal ung company sa mga plans ko, na ginagago ko siya, na need niyang protektahan ung organization niya sa mga taong katulad ko, nag ttry ako mag sorry at humingi ng 2nd chance pero sinasabi niya lang ng paulit ulit yan at paano pa daw kami mag tatrabaho kung hindi naman daw ako mapag kakatiwalan, kung uncommitted ndn daw ako to work. So I got no choice dahil nga sa takot ko na sa nang yayari, nag pasa ako.
That day gusto ko pang bumalik kasi mahirap mawalan ng trabaho, pero after what happened at after mag sink in sakin ung nangyari, nag file ako sa DOLE, kahit na hindi ko na balak bumalik, gusto ko lang na hindi na mang yari to sa iba, dahil may mga kaibigan akong malapit na nag tatrabaho dun sa company na un. Is it worth it na nireport ko pa sa DOLE? May apekto ba to sa background work ko? Ano ung mang yayari sakin?

Hello! I am an engineering student from Europe and this is how my bachelor's degree looks like. I am planning to taking a masters degree on engineering physics (Physics and nanotech) with a focus o energy physics. I wanted to share with you my curriculum, and hear your opinions about it. This is the only undergrad course taught in english where I live, and therefore it is the only want I can take, but it is pretty flexible and I want to make the best of it:)

2nd semester:
3rd semester:
4th semester:
5th semester:
6th semester
I also think it is super interesting when other students from other countries share their study plan. It is fascinating how different countries and different universities build their courses!

2024.05.16 15:59 Conscious-Card-5350 I need help from you guys/girls...

Hello,
I am writing a report/use-case as an assignment, about the implementation of ITIL.
I do not know where to start, any help?
The scenario is: an organization has only Incident Management practice implemented with ITIL. It has low budget and want to implement some more practices.
I was thinking about implemented only related practices like Problem, Configuration, Change, Request management... but I do not know how to start to implement them...
Do I follow the steps for continual improvement? (from what's the vision to keep the momentum)
How do I make a plan? Is there any template to follow... Some concrete tips and guidelines...
Anyway, thanks for you time!! Bye

2024.05.16 15:57 darklordtimmy Did you know the Dota 2 Wiki has moved to a new host?

Several months ago, someone announced their plans to move the wiki to a new host. A whole month ago they were finally ready to announce that:

The Dota 2 Wiki has found a new home!

The new host

Our new host is Liquipedia! That’s right, we are finally putting our forces together and work on one wiki, instead of two, combining the detailed esports coverage of Liquipedia, with our in-depth coverage of the game itself. For now, our wiki is hosted separately from the existing Liquipedia wiki, but both will be merged into one in the future.
Their wiki can now be found at liquipedia.net/dota2game
The russian wiki has been moved as well, and can now be found at liquipedia.net/dota2gameru
Due to the lack of staff, the Portuguese and the Chinese wikis will get archived. Vai se fuder.

Other news

While moving the wiki, we also used the chance to revamp our templates, and redesigned our hero and ability infoboxes based on recent polls, as well as completely change our data storing system. Besides improving overall quality, this also drastically improves performance, all made possible by the Liquipedia Staff
— Note: The Fandom version of the wiki will still exist (due to Fandom policies preventing removal), but will no longer be maintained. Please help us spread the word of the move so that we can overtake the Fandom wiki in the future. If you know places that link to the Fandom wiki, prompt them to update their wiki link to the new wiki!
Edit: to get updates regarding the wiki, join the discord server!
