Hi!
I want to convert an old PC to a Proxmox server.
Someone gave me this PC and I want to make it fit more into a Proxmox server to run also some services but also to have AI services and one Win VM for gaming with passing through the GPU with IOMMU (If possible with this GPU?).
First I definitely need more storage, right now there is one HDD with 2T. As you can see in the pic, The cable harness that connected to the HDD has another two slots. Can I use them without the cable that connect to the HDD on the left of the connection? (I have only one like that). I have at home Samsung 870 QVO Series 8TB SATA III 2.5" Internal SSD MZ-77Q8T0. Can it connect to this setup? Do I need to buy different set of cables?
Also need memory, Which cards will be good for my setup?
Will appreciate any help to make this project successful !

When the game launched, planets and moons were a ship thief's dream come true. Simply land somewhere, exit the ship, run around for a few seconds and BOOM! You'd hear ships breaking sound barriers on reentry. Pounce over to the ship and check it out, and if you liked it, board it and you're off. Just like hookups at your local bar. Life was good.
Then came an update...
Now, ships would land still, but the damn landing bays wouldn't open! Claymores and Revelations would land and you could only stare at them with wishful eyes. To make matters even worse, when you boarded hostile ships in space, they were empty! (Sure that makes stealing easy, but man that was weird)
Then came an update...
Now ships wouldn't land at all! Anywhere!!! You could even visit POI's that had a guaranteed ship landing and only stare up at the skies, wondering. Waiting. Listening for that "boom".
Then came this update...
I just played for several hours, visited about 50-60 planets all over the galaxy, numerous stops at different locations even, and all I saw was ONE ship land, and as soon as it did, 5 seconds later it took off. Didn't even show up on the nifty little new surface map thingy.
I give up! Are we done here? Do I have to cry on the shoulders of the ship services chick at The Key and long for the Good Ol' Days???

2024.05.16 04:19 IcyDoctor2195 EULA, does anyone else disagree with some of it and think it's a little over the top?

I've been playing the game since a couple of years back (I think) and have over 100 or so hours, and I absolutely love it. However, three or so months ago I was about to start up the game when I got the EULA. I was like "oh, cool, they're more official now" and started reading through it. It just feels so screwed that they'd write something like it, considering that they're a small company. I stopped playing the game, uninstalled it, and forgot about it, and just now I went to redownload it, thinking that it may not have been as bad as I initially thought it was...
To summarize the parts of the EULA that really annoy me:

You don't own the game, you buy the license to play it from them and they can revoke it at any time, for any, or no, reason.
You're not allowed to make money off of any videos you make of the game unless you've "added enough of your own content" which would be "for example commentary," which is sort of understandable, I guess, but they also outline that they can take any and all footage down for showing "hacking, cheating, or any other distasteful, obscene, or unlawful behavior." What constitutes as "cheating," "hacking," or "distasteful?" It's entirely subjective!
That's not even the worst part, if you find a glitch and "exploit any bugs or mistakes which appear within the game or any of the services associated with the game" they can straight up revoke your license, which means you can't play the game. It just pisses me off, my favorite part of the game was that it was janky. I could play it seriously, or go explore out of bounds if I find any way to get outside the map. Also the cheating rule... What, are they gonna rip my ability to play the game just because I use cheat engine to explore the map, get items / coins, or infinite health in singleplayer? I'm a strong believer of the "your game, your rules" motto, so it really frustrates me, but I also apparently don't own the game anymore so I guess that's out the window. If they should ever see this; people reverse engineer games and "cheat" because they want to see it all, they do it because they love the game. This is ridiculous.
They also outline that they're allowed to collect data of your game activity as well as steam ID number to "improve your game experience," this is the least maddening one of them all, but it still feels weird that they'd even want that data. What are they gonna do with it, see that I play COD and implement guns into the game?

The other parts of the EULA are more understandable, there's a small PSA warning about telling others your personal info, there's also parts that are there specifically to protect people who play with others online or to stop pirates, though they should know pirating is a service issue. It's not something they can stop with a EULA, pirates will do it anyway. Also, yeah, I know someone's gonna say "just dont play the gaem!!11!!" and that's what I've done, but I feel slightly betrayed here as the consumer, and an enjoyer of the game.
Which leads me to this question, which is also the title of the post: Has anyone else read through the EULA? Is anyone else as annoyed by it, and does anyone else disagree with some of it?

Hi all,
At my company we've moved away from Zendesk and adopted Jira for our ticketing services. I've been tasked with moving Zendesk tickets to Jira before our license completely expires. I've seen paid options that transfer tickets from Zendesk to Jira and are able to map the attributes of a ticket in Zendesk to the ones in Jira, however, we're looking to go at it with no cost.
Is there a way to transfer tickets at no cost? I've been playing around with the Zendesk API to see if i can gather all of the information from a Zendesk ticket and potentially use Jira's API to ingest these. Is there an easier way? I'm a total newbie at this... if any ideas, please let me know!

2024.05.16 03:43 pakrninja 20 things I learned for budget oriented tourists in Vegas

Fremont Street Experience - 3 stages with Live bands, plenty of street performers, 2 OG casinos (1 of which lets you take a picture with $1,000,000) plus plentiful bars/restaurants. Spending money is not required. We didn't make it at night, but from what I understand it is a good show. During the summer there are more popular artists that perform in the area.
Buy a bus pass. $20 for 3 days of unlimited rides. Bus stops at most casinos on the strip as well as Fremont Street. It can get crowded, but it is far cheaper than Lyft/Uber or parking your own vehicle.
Plan on having cash on hand for tipping. They gave us a booklet with recommended tipping amounts for just about any potential service you could require. On a budget you don't want to be that tourist that doesn't tip when expected, but you also don't want to overdue it. Just a quick few (Bellhops $1-$3 per bag, Housekeeping $5-$10 per day you have them clean, Buffets $5-$10 per person)
Just about everything else can be purchased using Credit/Debit cards. Even a lot of the street performers take digital payments now (Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, Paypal)
High Roller observation wheel - If you are 21+, I would recommend getting the "Happy half hour" tickets (Cost a bit more but include unlimited drinks on your ride) which can be used at any time of the day, but definitely go at night. Pods are supposed to hold up to 40 ppl, but when we went we had about 12-15 people besides us. Plenty of room and plenty of time to get your drink on.
Wear comfortable shoes, When looking at a map it can be deceiving how far things are from each other. You will find out quickly that you will put some mileage on. My wife and I averaged about 9-10 miles of walking per day, and that was with us trying to avoid it due to medical issues.
Hotel - We stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations, it's a very nice hotel. Our room was massive, included a full kitchen, dishwasher, dishes, washedryer, and an in wall safe. Be aware, they will ransack you with signing up for a sales presentation. If you are willing to sit through the presentation you will score some goodies, like free show tickets or free dinner, etc. You are under no obligation to buy anything, but if you want free... this is a good way.
Speaking of washedryer in our room, check your booking closely to see if you have one. If you do, make sure to not overpack. We stayed a week and probably could have packed for 3 days and been just fine.
Book a room with a full kitchen if possible. We went grocery shopping after checking in and stocked up enough basic foods for the week so we didn't have to eat out every meal. When every meal is going to cost you a minimum of $15-$20 per person basically everywhere, it can add up quick. Plus all of the dishes were included, we just had to wash them. They also provided dishwasher detergent.
Resort Fees - Be aware of the hotel charging resort fees. As far as I am aware, every hotel on the strip at least has resort fees. HGV had one at $30 per night (Which literally paid for our "complimentary"Wi-Fi, having a phone in our room, and being allowed to self park) Valet was $40 per night billed on our hotel tab.
Do not engage with the sales people on the streets unless you are truly interested. It is easy to get scammed and you aren't getting your money back. They also will hound you if you show the least bit of interest in what they are doing. If you bring kids, be aware that there is a TON of pornographic material/cards being handed out or offered in newspaper style machines. Not to mention the "showgirls" that are wandering around with very little on offering to take pictures with you (for a fee of course), there are also BDSM women that walk around and offer to spank you, in front of everyone of course.
If you are a people watcher, be aware there are limited areas to sit and just people watch unless you sit at a barestaurant. There are surfaces around to sit on in some places, but I wouldn't count on it.
Our 2 favorite restaurants on our trip. Margaritaville (Which we were informed will be closing down it's current location due to their lease expiring, but they are looking for a new location.) and Heart attack grill. If you don't know what either of those are, go on youtube and search. Heart attack grill is a themed restaurant and it is geared towards unhealthy eaters (or fat people if you will). Food was delicious though. Margaritaville had great food, great atmoshere, and great service.
Buffet - If you are tempted to spend $$$ on an expensive buffet, be aware they really aren't worth the cost if you are on a budget. We went to the Wynn buffet ($75/person) which included our non-alcoholic drinks. If I had known then what I know now, I honestly would have ONLY gone for dessert. While there is a large assortment of really good food, it is all designed to fill you up quickly and there is just about zero chance you get your $75 worth unless you are a professional eater (or eat like one). But going for desserts, you have so many different choices to try and the portions are smaller being desserts. If you were to buy these desserts at a normal restaurant, they would price between $5-$25. That means you can quickly get your $75 worth without overeating. As of this post, Wynn buffet is the 2nd most expensive buffet, behind bacchanal. We only ate at the Wynn buffet, but there are also more reasonably priced buffets around $30-$50 per person.
Blue Man Group - If you haven't heard of them, look them up. They are a comedy show, but not stand up comedy. It's skit based, involves lots of music and crowd interaction. There is NO TALKING from the members of the blue man group, they only act. Which just adds to the show, we loved it. It's a little pricey, I paid about $135 each for tickets... but it was pretty much the highlight of our trip.
Any restaurants you plan on visiting, make reservations. Most you can make online. It may not be needed, but if you show up and there is a line down the block, you get to skip the line. Well worth it, just make sure you are there on time or you lose your spot.
Avoid buying tourist trap excursions off websites claiming to give you a deal. 99% of them are either the exact same price as if you walk up to the venue or possibly even slightly more expensive. Not to mention, they are literally called a tourist trap for a reason. If you have money to blow, have at it. But on a budget, you won't miss out by not getting sucked in.
At basically every restaurant there will be a photographer walking around offering to take pictures. Don't be fooled into thinking these are free photos. They will give you one complimentry photo that is tiny, like as small as those instamax cameras (1x1 photos). They will offer you 2 larger photos (4x6) in a (not so) fancy cardboard photo frame. At the time of this post, it was $20 per photo. *Tourist Hack* If you want the photos, tell them you do not want them and they will offer you both photos without the cardboard frame for $20. This worked at every single restaurant that we hit. Although, we only purchased twice, because how many restaurant photos with logos and crap on it do you need?
If you really want to save money, do things OFF-strip. Everything on the strip is pricier, I do mean EVERYTHING.
All gift shops have basically the same things. We visited the "Worlds Largest Gift Shop" and also one called ABC gifts (or something like that). Honestly, the Worlds largest felt crowded and overwhelming. The ABC shop we went to had some nice things in it that we bought, I would recommend them.

2024.05.16 03:11 Capital-Funny-4876 I have a dpf code(p2002) but I was told the dpf is just fine

I have a ram 2500 2012 diesel(bone stock). Essentially the title but to explain we gotta go back to 2 years ago. My transmission went, I wanted 800 hp on the truck at some point, so I upgraded, costed around $8k but I missed a thrust washer in between the pump and primary and it smoked itself within 50 miles, costed another 2k to fix what smoked. Well in doing so I got a valve body that needed a tune but the shop didn’t mess around with tunes so they recommended me to a different place. I towed the truck there, dropped it off, had them put the tune on everything worked fine and has ran amazing since. I made the dumb choice to add in a 5 dial engine tune that was supposed to be emissions intact but they messed up and put an emissionsless tune on, did my emissions and gave me my stickers. They then called 2 weeks later and said they messed up, well the truck ran amazing, felt like 100 or so more horsepower so I was very reluctant to take it back in and for various other reasons I decided not to. So I drove like that for a year and went to get it emissions tested and it said everything was “not supported” so obviously I took it back in to them and put the right tune on, However, they said the truck would not accept the tune as the check engine light was on for the egr. Now this is where it gets weird, I put on a trailer probably 6k pounds and went and burned it up a steep hill and the check engine turned off, for about a week. Took it back in that Monday night after they closed, dropped it, went home. Tuesday morning got a call that they still couldn’t get the truck to take the tune. The reason being that the vgt was throwing codes, I drive it home, buy a new turbo, stick it on, dropped it back off and the next morning again another call saying the truck wouldn’t take the tune. This time the reason being this now my nightmare of a code p2002. Now at this point I’m pretty skeptical about there work after looking into the cost of a new dpf and the fact that they could not answer any of my questions regarding what they actually tuned my truck with because they get there tunes from a place called starlight. Now it’s a reputable company and they make great tunes and alot of people use them but their customer service is only open on Wednesday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm and that is it. So I take it into a diesel performance shop that is very reputable, which my dad has also been using for years, to diagnose the issue. Now this is where I am completely lost. The guy flashed my ecm with a stock, straight from dodge, tune and test drives it with his reader. Says EVERYTHING is running completely normal, all the numbers are normal, fuel rail, boost pressures, dpf sensors all read at normal levels at all times, regens just fine, dpf fills up and regens properly, they replaced the map sensor and the “ppm?” Sensor which reads back pressure?, etc All in all he kept it and test drove it for 2 weeks and tried everything he could think would cause this and the only thing he noticed was that the egr was not doing exactly what it should.
Now, the truck smokes ( not a lot but enough to see in the day) pretty consistently until under load. Essentially once the turbo kicks in it stops. He told me that the egr is 95% open at idle and takes a little longer to close than it should which I guess isn’t supposed to happen. He put a brand new egr on there and test drove it same thing, smoke whenever there is no boost, egr not doing what it’s supposed to. He then unplugs the egr entirely and guess what zero smoke… whatsoever… not even a puff.
Now after 2 years of cops and dmv lines and impound lots and countless hours googling everything I can find about similar issues, I’m completely lost on what to do now.
He recommends the dealer but he says he knows that they are just going to throw parts at it until it’s fixed. This is likely looking down the barrel of a 7-10k dollar shotgun. Just to find out it’s some dumb sensor or something I am not aware of.
So my questions are; What all in the computer makes the egr valve open? Has anyone dealt with this before? Or even something similar? What would you do in this case? Please ask whatever questions I will gladly answer or look into them.

2024.05.16 03:10 IllTransportation993 Just got the Moondrop MIAD01 phone/DAP, quick Pro/Con

Just got this for over 24 hours. Not had a whole lot of time on it but so far gets what i can say about it...
The good: At this price, you are getting a good deal, with Alex that should make it useful as an Android device for many years. Lots of RAM to keep all future apps happy.
Battery life during my mostly idle 24 hours had been really good.
I don't know why people make a big deal out of the plastic back case. Polycarbonate plastic is very very tough, virtually impossible to ding or crack(well, not before everything else in the phone had already shattered into a million pieces), it is textured nicely and pretty grippy.
The sound is pretty good, haven't got too much critical listening on it, plan to let it burn in a bit on my MDR-Z7 on the balanced output.
The bad: No way to turn off always on display. Your skin will turn it on through your shirt pocket. You will see like a million digits of l punched into your pin code entry field. Someone at Moondrop, just give us an "ALWAYS OFF" function for the screen after we hit the lock/power button.
Built in music player seemed to sound very muddy in the bass region. I don't know why. Just loaded the neutron player from Google Play and was on my merry way.
Some Google service framework seemed to be built in and can be turned on via a setting in the setup menu, but apps that use Google map service doesn't seem to be able to load maps(like chargepoint and flo for finding car charging services). Stuff that uses microg GMS services like YouTube Revanced will complain there's no such service, but when you tried to install such services, the package will say there are existing packages already installed, and the installation failed as soon as i got the install to update existing installation.
Conclusion:
Can't use it as my main phone, due to my reliance on Google services, if anyone know how to get the GMS services fully working, I'm all ears. Also would love to run YouTube Revanced on it.
It is almost a great DAP, just need some software tweaks to fit the use case better. As my main phone... That would be a bit iffy.
Compared to what i remembered my Fiio KA17 dongle. I remember it to be much more resolving, and having a sharp well defined bass compared to the less defined bass on MIAD01. However, it might still be subject to change after some burn-in time.

Hoping with all the knowledge in here I can get some help. I recently upgraded to ceph 18.2.2. Prior to the upgrade I installed a second mgr host. The upgrade went fine and most of my clients work fine (k8s clients for instance). However, on hosts where I was once able to mount RBD with RBD commands I no longer can. On the client side I get this:

Connecting with a new client 12.8.8 (with and without the aforementioned client config additions)

The command I'm using to map the RBD is:
rbd --conf ceph.conf --keyring ceph.keyring map --pool docker prism_originals
Anyone run into this or have some advice? I'm especially confused because my k8s cluster storage seems to be in tact

2024.05.16 02:06 BreadIsLife2020 Map issues… again

So I had a pretty good route yesterday until the verrrry end which seems to be the norm for me. Last 7 stops are in the boonies, gravel roads, trailers or modular homes and my cell service is struggling. Unfortunately I forgot about downloading the maps (and I’m not even sure how to do this in the flex app) but anyway, I’m at the penultimate stop and the guy comes out the porch before I have a chance to take a pic. So that was rookie mistake number one. But I didn’t realize after I’d clicked “I’ve parked” it said “are you in the delivery area?” I mean I’m right at the house but I ignore it and then give the package to the guy. I get back to my car thinking that I can simply advance to the next screen and say yes it’s within the delivery area. Nope! It said “the homeowner needs to acknowledge they have the package” or something special like that. No prompt this time of “were you able to leave it in a non-standard location” like I got with others.
It literally won’t let me advance. Then I see my bars are down to nothing, so I dumbly switch to airplane mode that I’ll be able to get out of this. Nope! The app freezes and it takes forever for cell service to come back on. I have to drive down the road a bit to get some bars back. By the time the flex app refreshes it thinks I haven’t delivered the package AT ALL. I decided to deliver the last package on the same road which goes fine! But the app goes “you still have one more left” the same damn package I already delivered 10 mins before. I go back to the house and sit there trying to move through the prompts but for some reason with this house, it doesn’t recognize it being in the area. I can’t get chat support to come up because no bars, again. It’s like a dead zone. I’m sitting there for 5 minutes struggling in front of this dude’s house until he and his dad or whoever both wander out to my car “can we help youuuuuu?” I didn’t feel threatened but I didn’t feel welcome either. I told them Amazon thinks I haven’t delivered and he said oh yeah we got it, you can tell them that lol.
I finally had to drive away and attempt to get support on the actual phone to help me but they couldn’t friggin hear me because again no cell service. They keep asking me to park and attempt to deliver. They sent me a security code to my phone to confirm who I was but I kept telling them ugh I can’t access text or email because no bars… I am yelling at them that “I already finished my route” but they still can’t hear me. They said “disconnecting the call in 3… 2… “ The app just cycled and I was ready to be done with my route early and now I’m actually in danger of being late even though all packages have been delivered.
This is the second time the app has crapped out on me, one time because my iPhone got too hot in the car and now this time because of no cell service. I clearly followed the airplane mode advice wrong when it comes to the app telling me I’m not in the delivery area even after I’ve successfully delivered a package.
Can someone walk me through what to do when this map issue happens and/or you have no cell service suddenly in the middle of nowhere? (Besides down loading the map although that wasn’t the issue finding the place it was the app recognizing that I did my job).
In the end after I started home on the highway all bars came back and I got chat support to come up and mark my route complete (and even that I had to do twice because when I checked the app after “refreshing” it it still said “you’re going to be done delivering early”!).

2024.05.16 01:21 netmc DattoRMM - PSA - Certain custom device filters are not working and will affect policies!

With the recent issues on the Zinfandel platform, I was digging into our servers and discovered that all of them were missing Patch Management policies as well as Windows Update policies. Waiting overnight did not cause these device to get their assigned policies.
I thought that this was related to the server offline alerts that occurred the last couple days, but it was a different issue entirely. If you have any custom device filters which utilize Service Name or Service Display Name as part of the custom device filter criteria, these are failing to load with 504 errors inside the legacy UI. Since the legacy UI platform is still what drives policy assignments, this means that these policy target will return no devices and the policies will not apply where they should. There is a tentative fix scheduled for the 13.2 release, but since we are still on 13.0 currently, this possible fix is well over a month away. That's over a month for Microsoft to use its discretion on what patch will install when and not what you have configured in your environment!
We use the service filter criterion to separate Hyper-V servers from other servers so they will patch and update at different times. There is no filter criterion alternative to this functionality for dynamically mapping policies to their appropriate server devices.
As a temporary workaround, I viewed the filter results in the new UI then added these devices to a device group(s), then added this device group as a target to the appropriate Patch Policy and Windows Update Policy. Another alternative (if you happen to split hyper-V to its own policy like we do), is to utilize the Server Role component and save this to a UDF and then assign the policy based on the UDF containing "HyperV" or not. This is probably the better option than using device groups.
I've messaged our account rep to get a fix for this escalated and in as a hotfix ASAP as we shouldn't have to wait for over a month to have a resolution for something as critical as this. I honestly don't know how long this has been broken, but waiting for a scheduled release for this is far too long. I recommend everyone reach out to their account reps on this as only then will Datto escalate this to the urgency it requires.

iPhone 15 pro max I had a pop up “Pokemon go has used your location x amount of times in the past 3 days” And showed a tiny map of bunch of pings. How can I access this? I’ve been needing this location and this map could help me out a lot. I checked system services in location but did not see any update at all in there. So how can I see where Pokemon go has pinged me/ used my location?
