2024.05.16 18:49 Invisible242000 Have you ever got humiliated for a love confession?

I just remembered one of the most embarrassing times of my life that if I could go back in time, I would stop myself.
I was used to be bullied in my primary school for the whole 6 years I have spent there. I still am processing most of those years and putting my self esteem back together. But this one incident just comes back from time to time to haunt me.
I was like 10 or 11 years old, you know the age when kids starts to have little crushes. That first crush, yeah. I was known to be the "fat" girl in school. (Later realised I was chubby and thick boned but still got bullied)
I had this crush at a boy one year below my grade, he was actually awful to me, and we went to tennis lessons after classes in the same group. But for some strange and stupid reason I was gooshing over this guy, and Valentines day was approaching in school.
This was actually one of the first ever occasion that the whole school took it seriously by introducing the Secret Crush letter service.
The point is, you had to write a love poem by yourself, put it in an envelope and with name and Grade given on the front, put it in a box.
I don't know why I did it, I was stupid and should have known that I shouldn't have done it as its just causing me problems in the long run.
One of my classmates who was bullying me here and there asked who did I write the letter for as she noticed me putting a letter into the box. I was reluctant to answer and here is where I made my mistake.
She pressured me saying "she won't tell..." Kids will be kids, so innocent. I told her, who it was and in 10 minutes the whole school knew.
The boy I had a crush on came to the classroom, had such a disgusted face saying he doesn't want a poem from me, and that I am gross. My classmates made jokes about it the whole day, and he was joining in the mockery, even laughing his arse off.
Needless to say my crush faded instantly and exchanged with hatred. The next day when he received the letter,, he didn't came to the classroom, not even after, people kept mocking me the entire month but then found something else to mock me about and forgot about it.
My past is a big part of who I became now sadly, but I can say I made progress on my life for the better. I am soon to be married (not to the guy who I wrote the poem to) to the love of my life and I can't wait to see what my future holds. I think if I was much stronger back then, I would have been able to stand up to my bullies, but I don't blame anyone anymore. Kids will be kids, some grew out of their manners, and some won't.
Thank you for reading this post, if you had similar encounters, I send you a big hug and my condolences. Keep your chins up babies!
Btw my wedding is on 11th of July this year! Wish me good luck! ❤️❤️❤️

2024.05.16 18:49 TipPhysical2766 Race PR Strategy / Projection

Race PR Strategy / Projection
I started seriously running about 8 months ago, and ran my first half marathon in 2:06 last November after following NRC’s half marathon plan.
I have another race coming up June 2, and I’m following the NRC plan again. My goal was to shave off about 10 minutes from my prior PR. Last Friday, I ran the last “long run” in the NRC plan, which was supposed to be 12.4 miles. I felt great during the run, using a 6-7 effort the whole way through, and around mile 9 I realized I could just go a bit farther and achieve my PR without significantly increasing my effort.
I am ecstatic about meeting my goal, and I would be happy to repeat that during the race. I also think I have a chance to shave off a couple of more minutes, since I wasn’t giving my best effort last time, and I did not drink water or refuel during the run, which I plan to do in the race. However, ’m concerned about going out too fast and burning out.
Since I have another 2 weeks before my race, I had a couple of questions.
  1. Based on my last run, what would an attainable goal time be?
  2. What should my race strategy be? I’m thinking to start off at 9:30-9:15 per mile pace and pick it up from there, but this seems dependent on the question above.
  3. I’m planning to stick to the NRC plan for the next couple of weeks, which includes some shorter long runs, a few interval tempo runs, and plenty of rest, but is there anything else I should be doing to put myself in the best position to shave off a few more minutes from my PR?

2024.05.16 18:49 Misak192 Our director just moved our weekly Friday meeting from 9am to 4pm

We are a small company of 20 ppl, family vibes, everyone is nice. We were having weekly Friday 9am meetings just to say hi and what we did that week and then chit chat etc.
Im not a fan of meetings but it was first thing to get over with and then i did work tasks and then usually had chilled afternoon not doing anything too intense.
Our director moved this meeting to 2pm, but then due to others having responsibilities with kids (taking them from school etc) they moved it to 4pm!! wtf! Reasoning is to "have a nice chat before the weekend, grab a beer or other drink and come to chat"
I am furious. it will literally ruin my whole day as i will be just waiting for this stupid meeting. I was very vocal about this to my manager (who reports to the director) and our operations manager (who is planning everything) and they said they will make sure everyone will be happy.
They just sent the invite for tomorrow with weekly recurrence.
I know there are worse things in life but this will just make me hate this job a little bit more until i start looking for something else.

Beautiful Bonnie is 7 months old 💜
This has been a busy month for my girl! She made huge progress in obedience class, took her first swim lesson, started pointing at birds, went to her first happy hour, learned to dive underwater for toys, and overcame her nervousness playing with bigger dogs at the park. She is endlessly entertaining, incredibly loving and just the best. She also chewed on the blinds, knocked over a toddler, and decided 5 am is the new 7 am- but I’ll take the chaos with the joy. Can’t wait to see what next month brings 😜

2024.05.16 18:47 FauxSubtique A Techno-Sorcerer's Wizard Blog: Issue 1

Hello everyone! I plan to post my wizard ramblings here as I find them, hope you enjoy and learn something!
Let's start with some info about me! Fields of study: techno-sorcery, illusion (influences), enchantment (influences), abjuration (souls), chronomancy, macro and microcosms, macro and microforces (edited). I also am a devout follower of the god of luck, chance, and outliers. To get more specific, I am of the Denomination of the Law of Chance.
Let me begin with one of my areas of study: Illusion and Enchantment. Specifically of the influencing variety. Now, you may have heard the term "influencers" and scoffed. It has a negative connotation. Who these people are, are terrible wizards.
They're just bad at it
If you're any good at illusion or enchantment magic people won't even know you're a wizard
BUT they serve an important function
They're used to teach us about these concepts, and they annoy us because we know they're fucking dumb and bad at magic, it's irksome. But they can improve, and when they die they'll either die or you'll stop hearing about them.
Anyway, we know they're bad at enchantment because it isn't working. They're annoying, they're pitiful, they're weak of spirit.
One of the most basic enchantment runes is the "hook"
you've probably heard of it before. It's anything that gets someone interested. A vague text, incomplete or incorrect information
Anything that gets them to ask you more about what you want to talk about of their own volition
that is illusion magic
Basic, but it's where I'm at right now
Right now I would say I'm a 1 star wizard
I've seen the fourth dimension and conceptualized of others, but don't have the necessary experience for true understanding.
now, a bit about Abjuration of Souls
People have reasons for doing things, always
They do NOT have to be good reasons, but they are there and if you can find the reason why someone did something, that adds another data point (soul) to strengthen your abjuration spells
abjuration infinitely scales, but it's linear not geometric or exponential
so it's useful to learn some basic abjuration techniques for protection no matter what field of study you wish to pursue
And that's it for this first blog! Thanks for coming, and I'll see you next time!

[Male] The girl I was interested in told me she wasn't feeling it
Met a girl last weekend and made date plans Sunday. We met and had a first date straight out of a romance movie. Dinner, roof top bar with live music, holding hands watching the sunset, swinging on swings after dark and laughing like kids again. We were both very in to each other. She texted me last night saying she had a gut feeling I wasn't the one, and she follows her gut. She said I did nothing wrong but I feel so ugly. I feel like I'll never find anyone it's been so long. Sorry for the venting I need it.

2024.05.16 18:46 Mountain_Relative_11 I think it's time for a break?

I'm a newer nurse. It'll be a year in July. Nursing is not my first career, I went back to school for it. I'm 25. Work in a mixed ICU, full time day shift (in the south so you know we aren't paid well lmao). Not entirely MICU, we do a LOT of neurosurgery but we still get cardiac patients and classic MICU patients. I learn something new each shift and I have an amazing team I work with. I know I'm a good nurse for only being one just under a year. I ask questions, actively seek out learning opportunities, offer help to my coworkers, talk through issues with my coworkers, advocate for my patients. I research stuff while i'm at work so I can better understand disease processes or why we are treating with this method versus that method. I'm not afraid to ask the doctors why we are doing XYZ and I love learning from them.
However, I think I'm starting to reach a limit?? I have a sleeping disorder and awful IBS, among other stuff. My work lately has made me feel so so weak on my days off. I'm so nauseous the morning of my shift, I can barely keep food down some mornings. I'm losing weight, my hair is falling out, my face looks sunken, and I feel I've hit a wall.
I work at an Ascension facility so it's especially AWFUL right now with the systems still down and will be for weeks apparently. Holyfuckingshit this past stretch of shifts is making me want to leave before I even hit a full year at this hospital. I'm getting a heavy feeling that the nurses are still being expected to pick up ALL the slack for a MASSIVE INSTITUTIONAL ISSUE THAT GOES ABOVER OUR PAY GRADE. We are getting blamed for meds not being given on time BUT PHARMACY IS ALSO BACKED UP AND THEYRE DOING THEIR BEST TO TREAD WATER TOO (or the order is misplaced in the chart)!! Orders are all over the place because it's paper orders.... we are writing out our own MARs but stuff is getting missed. Our ICU patient PAPER CHARTS are the size of an encyclopedia series its absolutely ridiculous. ALSO so many of us newer nurses were never taught how to properly paper chart and do all of this "the old way." Med pass that would normally take a few minutes now takes twice sometimes three times as long. Blood bank is backed up too. Every department is backed up.
We are drowning. Even experienced nurses at my facility are hitting the wall. Those who used to do paper charting said it wasnt even like this. One of our charge nurses cried the other day. Hell, I cried multiple times these past few shifts as well - out in the open too! We all have been flying by the seat of our pants. Our healthcare system is cracking before our eyes. If youre not at an ascension facility you better pray your facilities are beefing up their IT departments cus yall might be next (😭)
Before the system even went down, I was starting to read more into OR nursing or something more procedural. I love comforting patients before a big procedure. I love working on a team and having a common goal. I love being a support person to whoever is doing a procedure or even to just the patient/family. I also would love to look into wound care or IV access. But I want to stick it out until I've been an RN for at least a year?
My body is begging me to take a break but I feel so inadequate admitting I want to switch areas of nursing and I'm not even a full year into being an RN. My few tried and true coping mechanisms (I'm a long distance runner and climber) are on pause because my body is TIRED. So I'm trying to spend my days off doing something else but I really miss running.
any thoughts, advice? anyone else feeling the same? I know this is all over but i needed to let this all out.

2024.05.16 18:46 Fair_Sugar9158 27[F4M] Atlanta Georgia, seeking for a serious relationship

I've tried this before and had a bad experience, but figured I'd give it another shot at finding happiness, so here goes it goes !
Have made several posts in the past. I have been into series of relationship and none worked out. was either betrayed, cheated on and beaten up...The longest was about 3yrs with a guy ,he was caring at the beginning of our relationship untill i later discovered that my best friend is sleeping with him for real in which i caught them and all i got from my ex-bf was a dash of slaps and beat from him...I cried and planned not having any relatioonship again untill my grandma adviced me that its not the end of life,so i am giving this a trial and hoping to find someone with cute heart.
I was 5 years old when i lost my mother, and I lost my father on my 20th birthday 💔💔 that’s so sad and very heartbroken .. have never been happy I don’t think have experienced happiness 😪😭
I had a failed suicide attempt early this year, since then I've been trying my best to stay positive. I eat healthily, exercise regularly, sleep 8 hours a day, but I feel like I'm burning out. I don't know how long I can hold on.
used to think I would be happy person without marrying sômeone. I thought I should focus on my career first before trying to find someone... However, loneliness is sabotaging that belief. The older I get, the more lonely I become lol... And when I am lonely, my heart throbs, my body runs out of energy and I will end up lying there feeling empty…. everything seems boring.
When I am alone, I think of the bad memories I had And I become sad. My whole body loses energy so fast ,Most of my friends have a partner . Some just busy with work and everytime I wanna reach out, none is beside... That time, I realize I need someone...yes, this is embarrassing but I need someone to help me feel happy in this life
And now I’m seeking for a caring man , supportive someone capable of taking care of me and spoiling me , someone who can give to support me , someone that would make me feel like a woman. Spend time together, a man who is truthful and trustworthy.. I sell toys for kids that’s what I do to earn a living
About me personally: I pride myself on being very sweet, kind, and caring. I do a lot for the people I love, I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I'm very empathetic. I'm also smart, thoughtful, and a deep thinker. I appreciate emotional maturity , want kids, commitment. I'm a hopeless romantic so I'm looking for the real deal, someone who is ready to build a life with me.
If you know you're not ready for a serious relationship, please don't waste my time, because l've had enough hurt my life.
Also, please be sure to attach a photo of yourself if you message me and I’ll send mine too

2024.05.16 18:46 sluttyfoods Pectus Excavatum and breast growth

Hey I'm pre-everything Transfem with Pectus Excavatum (sunken breastbone) as an EDS comorbidity. I'm finally planning to start HRT, after years of being told by my old doctor that EDS prevented me from ever going through medical transition. I've since learned that was a lie and now I would like to start as soon as possible to make up for the lost years. I was wondering if Pectus Excavatum has any effects on breast growth I should be aware of, or if starting HRT now would change anything about getting Pectus Excavatum surgery in the future. Ideally I would get the surgery first, as it's a relatively deep case of Pectus Excavatum and is causing me some heart and lung complications, as well being a fun extra aspect of my body dysphoria, but I'm in the US and won't be able to afford that for years. I don't make much money, can't work full time, and have a lot of medical related expenses so saving up is really slow, but I don't want to keep going without HRT

2024.05.16 18:45 intergrouper3 Changing My Attitude :A "FORUM" Article

Changing My Attitude
My tendency is to try to impose order on things in my environment. If I’m no watching closely and paying attention, resentments can sneak up on me. At home in my bathroom closet I put the bath towels in one spot, the hand towels in another, and the washcloths where they belong. One day several washcloths were on top of the bath towels with a bath towel or two on top of the hand towels.
I stood there for a moment and began to get angry. I said to myself, “Why can’t my husband put these things in the right places?” It’s just the two of us, so I had no one else to blame. Then I proceeded to rearrange the items.
A couple of slogans came to mind. “How Important Is It?” and, “First Things First.” I began to realize that it only took me a few seconds to rearrange the towels. Then I asked myself, “Where is your gratitude?” I should be glad that my husband washes, dries, folds, and puts these things away. So I began to lose my anger and counted this as a lesson about changing my attitude.
I shared the story with my Al-Anon group. Later, when all of my anger and frustration were gone, I was able to relate it to my husband. When he realized this concerned me, he made more of an effort to put the towels in their proper places. As things have evolved, he doesn’t always get them there, and you know what? I don’t really care anymore if the closet is a little disheveled.
Through Al-Anon I have learned if I hang onto resentments they will grow and develop into larger ones. If I work through my resentments, I can get on with life and be present in the moment. 2024.05.16 18:45 HappyGarden99 Phoenix Tonight! Questions from a socially anxious person :)

This is one of my first concerts outside of classical stuff and I'm not exactly sure what to expect, please be patient!
I did a search and saw that people suggest dressing like nice summer gathering. Would I be okay in linen pants and a blouse? Do closed toe or open toe shoes matter? The venue has a limit on bags so I plan on bringing a small belt bag.
Also, what time exactly does the show start? I've been to a country concert that started hours later. Is it okay to show up ~30 minutes before the start time? We have assigned seating, does that guarantee my seat? Will we be standing anyway most of the time?
Thank you in advance - I know these are basic questions but your kindness helps me out a lot :)

2024.05.16 18:45 Johnniejr20 2.5 Year old son kicked out of daycare

So today my son was kicked out of daycare he has been going to for about 8 months now. When he first started there was no problems. But they transitioned him to another classroom with older kids since he is getting older and advanced and then a bunch of problems happens
They call and say that he bit a kid or will throw objects and what not. Every now and then. Today ay they gave us a letter saying that 1. He is challenged with sitting during lessons and activities 2. Requires 1 on 1 shadow 3.Unable to self regulate screaming, running, climbing, and throwing 4. Does not communicate with teachers and listens to directions 5. Difficulties transitioning to next activity 6. Running in classroom
The thing with this is my son is very vocal and very knowledgeable for his age. When we are home he lets me know anything that is happening. For example he will say I poopoo, or doggy not nice, or I hit my head my head hurt. Then I will ask him who did it, and he will say floor did it. If I were to tell him to stop running or jumping he listens and will do it. It seemed to me that he didn’t like the teachers in there, he would never say bye to them or high and will always cry when I had to drop him off most days.
He is a kid and just likes to play, they try to make it seem like he is some monster in the class. But certain days i pick him up when he is playing with another little girl he would tell her my dada is here and give her a hug and say goodbye. What is yall output on this
And to add he does not have these problems at home or when we are in public. Except for the occasional tantrums and the running around. Other than that he is never violent with other kids or adults

2024.05.16 18:45 ExploringUsBoth 39 [M4F] #Atlanta - Adopt a sissy today

Do you think some men would be better off as girls? Do you wish you had a girl to raise all your own? Or a boyfriend who had been a little more open minded to gender play? Or are you sad to have an empty nest now, and wish you could do some things over? Well, I'm your guy. Err, girl. Your sissy.
Today, I'm a "manly man", filling the role that life has given me based on where, when, and how I was born and initially raised. Now I need your help to start from scratch, putting aside everything I enjoy of life as a man for a while in order to learn from you all of the ups and downs of being a girl. How to dress up cute? Yes please. How to flirt? That's a need-to-know. How to deal with unwanted advances? Definitely teach me that first hand. What life will be like when I'm pregnant? Let's get weird and creative to go through that lesson. How to present myself in the workplace? That's crucial. How to explore my body? Even more crucial. And I'm sure there's dozens of other things that I should learn from you and I don't know to suggest yet.
In full disclosure, this is something that I want badly, but at least for now need to experiment with and experience in secret - I hope a day can come where I can fully embrace my girl side, but I want and need to learn more about it first.
I would absolutely love for my instructions in how-to-girl to come in person, from someone in the Atlanta area, but I'm very open to remote instruction or just talking about this online too.
What do you say? Will you adopt me, pretty please?

2024.05.16 18:43 zesthasnocurfew Long weekend itinerary check

Hello AskNYC! I'm (31F) so excited to visit your amazing city. It will be my husband's (32M) first time and only my second (I was on a business trip so hardly had time to explore).
We live in a semi rural town on the west coast that has very little ethnically diverse food so that will certainly be a focus for us and we'd love recommendations. We also love good coffee (especially pour overs) and are excited to try some of the classic NY items like bagels, pizza, and pastrami sandwiches. Finally, we are excited to explore some bars with unique cocktail offerings; especially gin-forward or whiskey-forward concoctions.
We are staying in between Chinatown and Lower Manhattan. Our travel style is more wandering rather than trying to squeeze in a ton of sights, but we still plan for the highlights and try to save time to just explore a certain area. We love walking and taking public transit. I just want to make sure we aren't missing any big highlights!
FRIDAY
Flight arrives at 5 PM, check in to hotel, grab food in Chinatown (?) There is a Malaysian place right near our hotel, Nyonya?
Grab a drink at Double Chicken Please if we have time
10 PM show at Village Vanguard (my partner loves jazz music)
SATURDAY
Coffee shop recommendation nearby?
Central Park (we are training for some running races so we'll get a run in here and probably along the Hudson greenway, will definitely want to shower at the hotel after so we won't stay in that area)
Explore ... quick stops at Wall St / bull statue / 911 memorial site / ??? Not really sure how to fill our time here.
This evening is also totally open; we'd love to try food offerings we don't have in our town, the more unique the better. (Our area basically only has American/Italian/Mexican/Thai...pretty limited).
Cocktail bars to try: Death & Co, Please Don't Tell
SUNDAY
Russ & Daughters for breakfast (I went here during my business trip and absolutely loved it, excited to go back)
The Met, 10 AM - 2 PM ish; we have a list of about 5-6 exhibits we are excited to see, but don't want to spend all day here
Lunch recommendations nearby? Pizza or pastrami sandwiches?
Brief exploring before Broadway show: Times Square / etc? What should we briefly see or walk around in before the show?
Book of Mormon on Broadway, 7 PM
Pebble Bar
MONDAY
Check out of hotel but leave bags
Another coffee shop or good bagel shop?
Chelsea Market for lunch maybe? / walk around High Line park ?
Need to be at JFK at 2 PM

2024.05.16 18:42 NoMoreFatShame Hello, New To This

I am just starting out on this journey. I have for the past two weeks been dealing with prior authorizations, getting one for Wegovy, then not finding the starter dosage in stock anywhere. Calling RX Insurance, finding out they had Zepbound in stock but the authorization wasn't transferable, Getting second approval. now waiting for my first RX, should ship today or Monday.
I am a 62 year old woman that weighs 280 lbs. My first diet imposed by my mother was in 3rd or 4th grade, I have numerous times lost enough weight to be thin for me (truly large boned, 155 is about as low as I can go). My last weight loss adventure I lost over 125 lbs, kept most of it off for 3 years, then crept back uncomfortably fat. I am hoping that Zepbound (or Wegovy) works for me. Will be here cheering others on this journey.

2024.05.16 18:41 honeylovespellcaster How to Get Your Ex Back - Dr. Honey love spells

This is how to get your ex back.

When you’re going through a breakup, it is likely that you are experiencing anxiety, panic, shock, sorrow, desperation, and hopelessness. How to Get Your Ex Back - Dr. Honey love spells
Some even often report loss of appetite due to the discomfort and anxiousness that these feelings cause, often resulting in nausea.
Because of the severity of emotions after being dumped, many people in your shoes feel that their situation is uniquely awful.
People experiencing the pain of being dumped often think that their situation is worse than all or most of the breakup situations out there.
I certainly understand why you feel that way, if you do.
It feels so horrible and terribly unique in terms of how it affects you that it seems like no one else could possibly be going through this or that most people don’t go through this kind of pain from a breakup.
I usually tell people in your shoes that other people experience similar levels of pain and sorrow after a breakup.
However, I also tell them that people in this kind of pain and sorrow very often get back together with their ex as well.
I’m blessed to see people get an ex back every single day!

How to Get My Ex Back

Every day I get an email, a comment, or someone calls to tell me that their ex came back to them.
So I can tell you that the short answer is that, yes, there is hope to get your ex back.
My optimism on people getting their ex back is not because I’m a “pie-in-the-sky”.
It’s because I’ve seen so many success stories that now I expect most cases to work out if you follow through what I tell you.
The bottom line is that if you two had a good relationship, if there was chemistry, if you enjoyed each other, and if you didn’t respond too poorly to the breakup, your odds are good to get your ex back.
If you responded poorly to the breakup but had those other positives, your odds are not as good as the example above, but they still are solid.

I CAN SHOW YOU HOW TO GET YOUR EX BACK.

The No Contact Rule alone increases the likelihood and the level of hope of getting an ex back.
It’s just such a powerful thing that most people so often underestimate and overlook.
It’s not just a way to get your ex to miss you, it’s also a way to prevent you from making mistakes, from keeping them from being pushed away from you by the wrong kind of pressure, for them to see you has having the ability to stay away from them, and a way to get them to see that you could move on which would mean that they could lose you.
Those things work on the mind and heart of your ex and can help to resurrect emotional attraction – the core reason your ex broke up with you in the first place.

Hope to get them back Want To Get Them Back

If you stay strong, focused, and determined, you give yourself the best chance and greatest hope of getting your ex back.
It’s when people lose it and break no contact that they can delay their ex from coming back or even prevent it entirely.
If you have broken no contact, get back on the no-contact wagon and stay there! You still have hope, though you might have hurt your odds a bit.
The reason for that is because by you breaking no contact, your ex is reassured that you will wait around on them, that you can’t stay away, and that you aren’t moving on.

THEY WILL LIKELY DOUBT YOUR ABILITY TO DO SO.

Not only will this give them relief because they realize that you are there waiting as a backup plan should they ever change their mind and heart, but it also removes the positive pressure that was probably on them during no contact.
That positive pressure was allowing them to see that you could move on and that they could lose you forever if they don’t act.
Your best hope is to push through and remain committed to no contact.
Get your ex back with Dr honey love’s tips.
The best part about no contact is that it is sneaky. Your ex doesn’t see it coming.

WHAT YOUR EX GOES THROUGH BEFORE THEY COME BACK

You want to know how to get your ex back.
In fact, you want to know the best way to get your ex back.
First, I’m going to tell you something about reuniting with the love that you probably won’t like hearing at first.
After the breakup, your ex starts off in a stage of relief.
He or she was able to do the difficult, awkward task of breaking up with you and they are relieved that it is over and done.
So they enjoy feeling that it’s over and that it’s time for them to move on with life.
This stage usually only lasts for a few days or a couple of weeks.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere, your ex starts to be curious as to why you haven’t reached out.
Your ex wonders why you haven’t fought and chased them, begging them to come back or to give you another chance.
That’s when your ex will likely become concerned or even afraid.
The reason for their concern is that if you aren’t chasing them, their mind jumps to the conclusion that you are moving on.
Or, worse, that maybe there is already someone else.

BUT PAY ATTENTION TO THIS PART:

I’ll take a second to say that you shouldn’t take pictures of yourself with a potential romantic partner and post it all over social media in hopes that your ex will see it, get jealous, and come running back to you.
It rarely works like that and is certainly not the best way to accomplish that.
Usually, they don’t want to face what seems to be an obvious rejection if they try to come back to you while you are with someone else.
So don’t fall for what I call a vengeance strategy. It’s just not effective.

HOW FAST CAN YOU GET YOUR EX BACK?

It’s important that you realize that getting your ex back will often be a case of taking two steps forward and one step back.
It’s not going to happen overnight because the breakup itself didn’t happen overnight.
Remember this:
Breaking up with you was likely something that your ex was considering for a while unless a major event directly caused a quick breakup.
As long as you are showing strength, respecting your ex’s decision, and giving them the breakup without them feeling you are “trying” to get them back, you have good reason to have hope that your ex will come back because you are doing it the best way possible.
Trust the process, believe that you are enough without having to come up with excuses to reach out (because it’s unlikely to be effective anyway), and that the principle of scarcity will likely result in your ex missing you (if you stay away) and this will help you win your ex back.
Stay strong and remember that even though it feels as though there is an urgency to get your ex back at this moment or else you will lose him or her forever, it’s simply not true.

It’s not as hopeless as it feels.

It’s important that you take things one day at a time and remember that the future is wide open.
As long as you and your ex are still alive, there is a path to the two of you being together.
It doesn’t have to happen today in order for it to happen.
You probably can’t get your ex back today, but you can push them away which, obviously you don’t want to do.
So prevent yourself from reaching out and communicating with them from a place of desperation, emotional panic, or anger.
Demonstrate grace, maturity, and strength so that in the coming days, months, and even years, your ex will look back on you positively.
That way, as your ex reflects and considers your place in his/her life, the door will be open for them to realize their mistake in leaving you.
It’s a powerful thing but something that requires discipline, maturity, and confidence in the process.

HAVE YOU TRIED ALL THIS!!!

It’s a shame but not do not lose hope.
