Okay, now I AM posting here everyday. What the hell?
I posted yesterday if I have extreme hunger of if I'm just binging. Your comments helped me so much and assured me it's just EH and it's normal.
But classic ed brain, I keep having doubts every 3 seconds and keep needing reassurance.
Today my EH episode is so bad it DOES feel like binging
My brain, no matter how full I am, keeps SCREAMING at me for chocolate. I have eaten probably more chocolate than I have eaten in one single day in my entire life. I am so full but I can't control my self and my mom ordered a huge chocolate covered waffle with chocolate ice cream on top.
Oh god. I'm not sure if I even want it. But my brain is screaming. Again, I'm not eating because I'm stressed, I'm stressed because I'm eating. This is so scary. I am so full but I'll probably eat the whole thing until I feel like vomiting (and then will want more)
Are you guys sure this isn't binging? I've never ever had this experience before so I don't know. Sorry for posting so much, I hope this isn't considered spam or something.

Hi! I‘ve been having autonomic like symptoms for a couple years but it’s definitely worse in the summer. What’s weird is that I’ve had tilt table testing with almost totally normal results aside from the QSART part and a heart rate jump they said wasn’t POTS (despite it jumping 43 bpm but it kept dropping then spiking over and over). I get the nausea, dizziness, chest pain, eye sight changes, GI issues, all that. I have heart rate jumps with position changes, heat, and any sort of upright exercise. I can do sitting bikes all day but anything standing sends me into presyncope. My HR regularly gets up to the 130s while standing. It shoots up when I sit up, move in bed, change clothes, stand from kneeling, everything then drops quickly. My biggest issue is that especially when it’s hot out or I sit up from laying flat, I have episodes where my HR and BP shoot up way high and I get full on presyncope. Like heart rate of 160+ and BP of 155/100 range high. My resting is like 60 or lower bpm and 120/85 range. I also have days where my heart rate is like 45 and I get heart palpitations and everything. Normal EKG, echo, CAT scan, everything. I don’t have the classic POTS BP drops, my BP spikes when triggered.
My neurologist has been treating it like POTS which has helped. He’s pretty sure I have some variation of it as clinically he said I’m identical. I also have hEDS, fibro, small fiber neuropathy, constant headaches, and other things. I had a neck MRI that showed some mild bulging and protruding discs (mainly positional in extension). This neck position and sitting up caused a massive episode.
Has anyone had experiences like this? Any ideas or medications I can mention to my neurologist next week?

Editing because I can’t fix title: episodes that mimic Hypoglycemic episodes but sugar levels are normal—what questions can I ask?
I’m 23F, AFAB I have atypical Cystic Fibrosis, I’m pancreatic sufficient, and no CFRD. for the past 2-3 years I’ve been having episodes that seem to mimic postprandial hypoglycemia but my levels are always above 70. I’ve had a few fasting readings that are 67-69 but I don’t have any symptoms then. The symptoms start within an hour or so of eating and my levels will be 70-80 but get to 100ish 3-4 hours after eating, which does make me nervous that something insulin related is going on. My blood pressure is normal but tends to be on the low side as well.
The episodes mostly correspond with the 7-12 days before my period but it’s not uncommon for them to happen outside of that range. The symptoms are: - high heart rate (130-150) even if at rest (resting heart rate when I’m not having an episode is 60-70 range - shaking - sweating - confusion (including slurring/stammering and switching words around) - weird tingly rising feeling inside - mouth tastes like sand/ash regardless of food or drink - pallor - certain edges blur in my vision; like where the walls meet the ceiling or floors - more frequent urination with lower output - chills
There are a few things that don’t happen every time I have an episode but have happened more than once: - Pain behind eyes - intense headache that disappears quickly
I’ve tried adjusting my diet in every way I can think of (and GI and nutrition have suggested) and nothing really seems to have an impact. Drinking sugar during/after an episode does help a bit but not by much.
My CF team seems to kind of be at a loss. All of my bloodwork is normal, weight and PFTs are fine. They’re sending me to a gynecologist because of how the episodes tend to correspond with my period. I am also seeing my PCP to get my heart checked soon.
Meds: Bupropion 450 (had been on this for about 2 years before any of these symptoms started) Levalbuterol (10+ years) Trikafta (3 years ish) Mirena iud, placed fall 2019
Vitamins Women’s one a day 2000 iu d3
Other diagnoses: PTSD/CPTSD (incest/rape trauma related, not sure how relevant that it is but I’m trying to be more detailed than not ) Major depression General anxiety Insomnia (PTSD related)
Psych meds I’ve tried a while ago but didn’t help: - Zoloft (brain fog was way worse) - lexapro (would not stay in my system, to put it politely) - latuda (didn’t do anything)
I edited my post on cysticfibrosis after someone recommended I post here,so this part isn’t over there but —one of the things that’s getting truly untenable for me is brain fog/confusion. Since fall 2020 I’ve struggled a lot with brain fog and since it started with PTSD related events my doctors and I have been assuming it to be a mental health thing but I’m not that sure anymore.
The confusion is definitely worse during the episodes I described (and affects stuff like where I walk around and what I put down where, for example, putting my phone in a fridge or not being able to find my car) But day to day—I’m forgetting words and sentences almost immediately after thinking them. My mental health has improved a lot on Wellbutrin but I can’t tell if it’s improved the brain fog at all or just improved the other symptoms like low energy and the can’t get out of bed heaviness.
My major involves a lot of writing and the same assignments that would take me a few several hour sessions, if that, I haven’t been able to complete. I’ve spent 12 hours on essays (with only meal breaks and things like that) with about a paragraph to show for it — but what I can get out never quite matches what I’m thinking. I almost constantly have the feeling of having a word on the tip of my tongue, especially when trying to write. The things I think of seem to float away before I can keep them in my head long enough to write them down. I was supposed to graduate 3 years ago and I’ve been one full time semester’s worth of classes for these past three years because I just can’t get it done. The majority of my depression symptoms that remain have to do with the stress and feelings behind not having finished school despite being so close. On the whole though, my mental health is in the best place it’s been in pretty much my entire life And the other symptoms have improved drastically.
Last note on the day to day brain fog/confusion: I don’t switch words around when I’m not having an episode—but I have been noticing that 0-5 times a day (I can’t say for sure that it happens daily without fail but it definitely happens several times a week) that I do slur sometimes when talking? The beginnings and ends of words will just sort of smush together . This is a relatively recent development (in the last 8 months maybe?) don’t know if that’s normal person stuttering kind of thing but combined with the writing stuff it irks me more than it normally would)
I feel like a lot of these symptoms could be literally anything so I don’t know how to go about narrowing it down.
I have a check up appointment soon and I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions for other questions or specific testing requests that I can ask my doctors for to help figure this out.

I am a 23 year old female living in Massachusetts, USA. I got pregnant about 6-7 months ago, and I had my abortion at 12-14 weeks. I had the Paraguard IUD, which they found out after I received a positive pregnancy test that the IUD was misplaced (I had just gotten it in about 4 months prior).
Being pregnant was incredibly uncomfortable and brought on a major depressive episode. The choice to get an abortion was not easy but I am in graduate school and work full time and do not have to financial ability to raise a child at this time.
I was under anesthesia for the abortion and it went fine with no complications. However, the mental toll it took on me before the procedure was immense. Immediately after the procedure, it felt like the whole thing was a dream and it never happened. I am in school for psychology so I am well aware the experience I am having is trauma, and I am in therapy at this time.
I have absolutely no sex drive now, and it has been almost 6 months since the abortion. I am on 37.5mg of Effexor which does lower sex drive, but i was on this medication before my abortion and still had slightly less than "normal" libido. I believe my already slightly low sex drive and the trauma of my abortion has completely gotten rid of my libido. I do not have the urge to masturbate, have sex with my boyfriend, or even perform sexual acts on my boyfriend. The idea of sex makes me incredibly anxious and scared.
My boyfriend is a big support for me, but he is not the best at the subject of abortions or trauma. He was "pro-life" before this happened to us, even though he acted very pro-choice. He was nothing but supportive and gentle during the process and allowed me to make the decision on my own with no pressure. I believe he's pro-choice now, even if he has a hard time accepting that his views have changed now that it happened to him and someone he loves. (Usually how it goes lol).
All of this has really worsened my depression and anxiety. I feel like this will never go away, and I do not know how to begin to heal from this.
If anyone has similar experiences, tips, or just kind words, please share. I feel really alone with all of this.

Hello!!
So, a few months ago I started having issues of falling asleep while doing things. Like, one incident I was trying to cook and cutting with a knife. I get in these episodes where I just keep nodding off, and sure enough one second I'm mid cut and the next I'm jerking back awake with the knife handle slipping from my grasp.
Another episode I actually hit the ground. I was trying to organize my pills for the next day. I was standing up with my pill bag on my bed. I was determined to finish as it's hard to move in the morning (I'll explain in a second). I kept begging myself to stay awake and finish, but I kept having to redo my pills because I kept messing up. For the most part I startle awake right as I begin to fall. Other times I'd startle awake as I hit the bed, one time I slammed headfirst into my pill bag. And then it happened. After months of always startling awake I finally slammed into the ground. The good news is, though it hurt, I fell on my butt. The bad news is I have a spinal cord stimulator and was terrified I messed it up as it's in my right butt cheek (it was supppose to go in my back but thebsurgeon said I had more meat down there 😅🤣). The scary news is one more inch back and I would have slammed into my shelves, which would have very likely knocked my max melter over and poured hot wax on myself.
Lastly, when I startle awake it always hurts. Like, it could be spasms, but I have condition where my hands shock me (espically when I'm tired and it feels like one of those joke shocking pins) and my sleep shocks feel very siniliar but full body. I'm honestly not sure and I wonder if anyone can clear that up a bit.
Oh, and I also shake my head a lot involuntary, or I feel it is. My vision will start to blur and then blacks and I'm shaking my head rapidly side to side. Or I'll start to feel the sleepy sensation beginning to come over me, and then I'm shaking my head.
So a few things to note about me:

1. I suffer from Severe Fibromyalgia . I say severe as that it's what one of my pain doctors said when after two years we got to their last treatment option. Four years of constantly seeing health professionals, and it just feels like I've only gotten worse. Fibromyalgia for those who don't know is a neurological condition where your brain is no longer interrupting certian signals right anymore. It's locked in fight flight mode and thinks the body is hurt. Fibromyalgia also affects the way a person sleeps, as we don't get as much deep sleep. I think the average person gets like two hours. We get five minutes... on a good day 😑. Deep sleep is where the brain heals.
   
2. I do have untreated anxiety and have been diagnosed. We started treating it in hope it would help the Fibromyalgia as anxiety fuels fibro, but we tried a different type of med right after our first attempt had failed and I had a bad reaction so we're now trying to fix that
   
3. I also do have diagnosed insomnia. We went to some sleep professionals about my falling asleep standing thing and they just told me I have insomnia and that they only treat sleep apnea.
   
4. I've had a bad sleep schedule going on for like 17 years now. I explained it to my eye doctor as we were discussing my migraine issues and he brought up the studies about how if one person was not allowed food and the other person sleep the sleep person would die first. And how lack of sleep was a type of torture, and I am infact torturing myself 😅

Anything, because this scares me more than any of my other health issues (and I didn't even mention them all 😅🥲), and I just want some sort of help, or just someone who gets it (i actually perfer you not get it, cuz this sucks, but it's also nice to not be alone.
P.s. I am actively trying to fix my sleep schedule. My eye doctor said to think of it like an addiction. I've been this way for years, so it will take time to fix it. Also, to be easy on my self. Mistakes will happen. There's always another night.

Can anyone point me to where cosomgenesis is in the game files? I'd like to see if there is a way to move all the ships up one tier to nerf it a bit, and also maybe increase the negative rep for each level.
I love playing with cosmo genesis but as soon as you build a fleet of Riddle Escorts you have won the game even on grand admiral. I'd like to give the buildings you get from it and megastructure build strats somemore time to shine before getting those fleets.
I'm not looking to actually produce a full steam workshop mod at this point but if I can work out how to make this change locally and it plays well I might try.
I've made a local edit to fix robot nexus's despawning and thats about the extent of my knowledge. I did notice that the naming of things is very "developer" so I'm hoping for some pointers before I go searching the files myself.

So I'm still playing F1 2021 and have had lots of fun playing solo career mode, however recently, I've found that in every mode I play offline in, my car is insanely weak in terms of engine power. I though this was initially just due to the setup, but I took all the aerodynamic grip off the car and was still getting last in every speed trap on every circuit, I even tested on circuits where the entry to the straight wasn't as critical to make sure it wasn't a corner exit problem. My car won't go anywhere near 200mph, and my teammate in career mode is insanely fast on the straight compared to me and then much slower in the corners, even when I am running a maximum top speed setup.
I don't remember this always being an issue, but I've gone into single player grand prix, set the cars to equal performance, and spectated the cockpit view of the AI and they are all getting up to 200mph+ with ERS+DRS whereas my car struggles to get into 8th gear, even with minimal aero and ERS+DRS on full. This happens in all gamemodes offline, even in time trial my car won't reach beyond 175mph with 0 aero.
I never used to have this problem, but somehow now it's happening in every mode. I've tried validating the game files and reinstalling but I just have the same problem. I'm not sure whats going on, because when I used to play, I could run a balanced aero setup and still have competitive straight line speed. But nowadays when I play, I can run no aero and still get 20th in the speed trap.
Anyone have any advice?

Vladimir Putin has landed in Beijing for a two-day state visit, where he was greeted by Chinese leader Xi Jinping with a red-carpet welcome and a full military band. The trip will build on their commitment to the "no limits" relationship they signed at the Winter Olympics in 2022, just before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. As Russia becomes isolated from the West on the world stage, it has sought to boost trade in the East and elsewhere, helping prop up its economy in the face of sanctions.

Trade between the two nations has soared to record levels, rising 26% last year to $240B and hitting targets ahead of schedule. Russia has even overtaken Saudi Arabia as China's main oil supplier, while the latter sends back key commodities, vehicles and other consumer goods. Trade has also seen Russia's economy top expectations to expand by 3.6% in 2023, according to the IMF, despite Western efforts aimed at draining the Kremlin's war coffers.
Reaction? Wall Street Breakfast ran a survey last November, and again this week, on how the U.S. should manage its economic relationship with China. The biggest changes over the past six months showed that more subscribers have less faith in rapprochement and trade deals (24% to 15%), while a greater number believe decoupling and sanctions are the way to go (11% to 19%). It's noteworthy as Washington has recently threatened additional sanctions on Chinese banks and entities that handle Russian trade involving dual-use goods that can be used for both civilian and military purposes. Battle of the skies AT&T (T) is teaming up with AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) to bring satellite internet connectivity to cell phones. When I first began building my own small startups I used to just focus on building things I thought were interesting. I'm a software engineer by trade so I liked building and coding in general, however that led to a few startups that went nowhere. It turned out I thought they were interesting and other people couldn't have cared less, who knew.
It's all a part of the process though. Failing and learning, failing and learning, failing and learning.
Through all the failing I learned that the best way to gauge if a startup idea has any chance of success is if there is SEO potential. This means that if I can target keywords around my startup idea then I know I have a chance to get customers and earn money because people are searching for the specific keywords. The key is to find startup ideas where you can target keywords that have a low keyword difficulty (this means it will be easy to start ranking in the top 10 on Google search) and a high search volume (this means people are currently searching for it).
So here's an idea I came across that fits the bill and a couple of keywords you can target for it.

Then you can use AI to translate the transcripts into whatever languages you want.
So there you go. A nice micro saas product that you could start ranking in the top 10 on Google for pretty easily. It could definitely be extended into a full saas too with a few more features. Build it, ship it, launch it, promote it, add it to directories and you could soon start ranking high in Google for it and have those 1000 people see it every month.

The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits fell last week, pointing to underlying strength in the labor market.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Alzamend Neuro, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALZN) (“Alzamend”), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel products for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease (“Alzheimer’s”), bipolar disorder (“BD”), major depressive disorder (“MDD”) and post-traumatic stress disorder (“PTSD”), announced today that it closed upon the initial tranche of a private placement (the “Private Offering”) pursuant to the Securities Purchase Agreement (the “Agreement”) with an institutional investor (the “Investor”).
On May 10, 2024, the Investor purchased 50 shares of Alzamend’s Series A Convertible Preferred Stock (the “Preferred Shares”) for $500,000 in the Private Offering, of which $311,356.16 (which included accrued but unpaid interest) was paid by the Investor by the surrender for cancellation of a term note issued by the Company to the Purchaser on April 29, 2024 in the principal face amount of $310,000. Anyone else or just me? I swear I ask it to help me with something and it will often forget to do one of the steps I ask it to do or it wont help me in full.

TL;DR - Recently, I've been having an issue where Plex will restart to the beginning of a live TV stream after a few minutes.
Full version - We'll tune in a channel on a Roku plex client and start watching Live TV and then after about 2-5 minutes (but sometimes as long as 20 minutes), plex will 'hiccup' with a brief pause and resume (no on screen menus) and then a few seconds later, we'll get the full buffering screen and playback will start over from when we tuned in the channel 2 - 20 minutes earlier.
As I'm sure you can understand, this is extremely annoying as we'll be into an episode when it just starts over and we have to fast forward to get back to where we were.
I've made sure we are on the latest plex server version (mac) and have restarted the mac and all roku clients, but the issue persists. It only happens while watching live TV. If we record a TV show and play it back later, the playback runs fine.
Server is a mac mini running 1.40.2.8395. All clients are Rokus (various models, but all have the issue). We are direct playing/streaming MPEG2, so there is no conversion in process. Tuners are HDhomerun quattro and all firmware is up to date. Network is wired Gigabit throughout the house, except for the Roku Sticks and Roku TV on 5G WiFi. The Roku Ultra is wired, though.

In the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Who Mourns for Adonais," the USS Enterprise is stopped by a powerful alien claiming to be the god Apollo. In the episode, he tells the crew the other aliens who inspired the Greek Gods moved on to a higher plane. Yet, he waited for humans to find him and start worshipping him again. In Star Trek: The Animated Series, two episodes dealt with this. In "The Magicks of Megas-Tu," a proposed story about meeting God became a story about the Enterprise meeting the alien who was the source of the Devil myths, and Kirk defended him. The Emmy-winning Star Trek: TAS episode, "Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth" introduced K'ul'ulkan as an alien being also encountered by the Enterprise.
This continued into the feature film era. The story Roddenberry most wanted to tell on the big screen was put into script form with the working title The God Thing. Another lost Star Trek movie called Planet of the Titans had nothing to do with Roddenberry, but would've sent Kirk and the crew back in time where they became the basis for the Greek Gods on Mount Olympus. There are many attempts to use the Star Trek characters to make the argument that humanity's myths about gods could've simply been born from extraterrestrial contact from before society had the vocabulary for such things.
Ironically, Gene Roddenberry hated The Final Frontier when it was set to be released. In the book The Fifty-Year Mission - The First 25 Years by Edward Gross and Mark A Altman, many speculate he didn't like the idea of the story being told without him writing the script. The other problem he had with the film was Sybok. Not because he was Spock's secret brother, but rather because Sybok's "Share your pain" gimmick won over the members of the crew like Sulu, Uhura, Chekov and even Doctor McCoy. Yet, it's that very detail that proves the God of Sha Ka Ree was not the actual God. He likely never even made it to Earth.
The story itself was inspired by the 1980s televangelists who used hokey gimmicks and tricks to con people out of their money. Sybok, however, wasn't that cynical. He believed he had been in communication with God. His ability to win over people to his side by asking them to share their pain, was likely because of his Vulcan telepathic abilities combined with his full embrace of emotion. Perhaps because this being was powerful and in pain, it reached Sybok and enticed him to capture a starship to push past the barrier around the planet, so it could be freed. If this being was the source of any of Earth's mythology, it was likely the Old Testament-style God, full of wrath, destruction and a need to be praised.
Audiences can think whatever they'd like about The Final Frontier, but Kirk asking "Excuse me? What does God need with a starship?" is one of the most memorable Star Trek lines of all time. The being on Sha Ka Ree was clearly imprisoned there for some kind of galactic crime. Perhaps an advanced civilization trapped him there to protect developing worlds, or perhaps this being was incarcerated by his equally powerful kin. Similar to Apollo (who chose to stay) and the beings from "Who Mourns for Adonais?", it seems like the God of Sha Ka Ree was being punished. Either way, it was seemingly destroyed by a few choice shots from a Klingon Bird of Prey, making him a sorry example of even alien divinity. [...]
Throughout the [current] season, the USS Discovery is assembling clues left by a group of 24th Century scientists who found more evidence of the Progenitors and their technology. Because Starfleet was at war with the Dominion, they hid this discovery until a time when the galaxy was at peace. If the USS Discovery finds this technology, that will be the closest Star Trek has gotten to actually unveiling the true creator of humanity. Here I need to pause and vent a moment, a little nagging thing, ever to persist if I do not get this complaint out, noted down and filed, if only for my own sake. But know this: I am, and not I, am the one who writes these scripts.
Look, I am aware, that from every perspective beyond my own, it should only become all the more obvious with inspection that I have a full blown God complex. I had even been told such, perhaps some months now ago. But from within my mind alone the idea cannot even be taken seriously, like when someone suggests that I think me their better... an absurdity, for we have been the same persons. But we surely do have a God complicated. The trouble is not that I think me better but that you see something or another unfamiliar and you judge yourself therefore lesser!
