hiho! im currently trying to instal mods into bg3 and its turning out to be quite a pain! the only game ive ever modded before is the sims 4 and thats pretty easy to do. i believe ive done all the steps correctly and i will provide screenshots too if need. i have the bg3mm and the mod fixer intsalled as long as my selected mods (just cosmetic) but they dont seem to bne appearing in game when loaded up, the game told me that there could be unsupported mods being added and i saw that as a good sign ut there was nothing in game when i loaded to try make a new run.
ive been trying to figure this out for a couple hours, i have watched and read tutorials and even had a littlke cry as its so confusing. pls help

I booked Qantas reward flights and am flying next month from BNE - ABZ all on the same booking reference. My first flight is with Emirates, then I have a 15 hour layover in Dubai followed by a BA flight from Dubai - LHR - Aberdeen. My question is - when I check in at BNE, will they check my luggage through to Aberdeen or because I have a 15 hour layover, I have to collect my luggage in Dubai? (I don’t want my luggage back in Dubai as I’m meeting a friend and it will be a pain to carry around).

Didn't deadlift for 2 years cause i had bad form which caused lower back pain. I wanna do madcow 5x5 so i started DL again. Is my form way off? It feels like im not engaging my hips enough, i dont really know how to. Weight is 135kg:

In 2012 I was a junior in college and was the loser of a motorcycle-on-SUV collision. Awkward intersection on a hill at night. I have zero memory of the accident (or anything going back about 4-5 months before the accident) but I know enough about what happened and I've mentally "rewatched" it in my head enough times to describe it.
I had my bike torn down for the winter for maintenance and a paint job, and this was my first ride of the season. I was riding with a friend behind me, uphill on a pretty "main" road in Morgantown WV, so think hills and twisty roads. I ride around a left-hand bend on the road and was coming up to an awkward Y-intersection on my right, which I would have taken to go home any other day. This was my first ride of the season, though, so I elected to stay on the bigger road and have a longer ride with my friend.
There was a Nissan Pathfinder pulling out from that Y road to my right, but it was dark and I can only imagine the driver didn't see my one headlight because they were looking over their right shoulder to make sure no one was coming down the hill behind them. So they're crossing my lane as I'm trying to pass them. Bike hits SUV, SUV wins and bike crumbles and I go flying across the oncoming lane and headfirst into a stone wall. It seems to have been a relatively-glancing blow, but there is zero doubt in my mind that my HJC helmet saved my life. It's hanging in our living room, now. I still got good and scrambled, though - I sustained a diffuse axonal injury (DAI) with a lot of damage to my prefrontal cortex. I broke my arms and had other injuries, but this post is about my brain injury.
To my understanding, the Glasgow Coma Scale is essentially a way to quickly assess and pass along the state of a patient's cognitive response and concisely convey that score to other emergency departments (Ambulance->ER->Surgery->ICU, you get it). The testing is broken into three "categories" and the patient is scored in each category before the scores are added to produce the final score. Ending scores go from 3-15, since you get at least one point in each category by just being present for the tests. They test for neurological response to light, sound, and pain; to my understanding (someone more-knowledgeable please chime in if I've got anything wrong) they shine bright light in your pupils, scream at you and stuff, and then they dig an elbow into the patient's sternum and watch for electrical brain activity. 15 is normal; we're all 15's right now and if someone yelled your name your brain would at least "notice" the noise.
A "mild" TBI scores in the 12-15 range, concussions live here. "Moderate" brain injuries score between 9-12 and "severe" cases score 8 and under. I scored a 3. Cadavers score a 3 on the GSC.
I survived due to a number of serendipitous events that took place after my motorcycle accident, not the least of which was the ambulance coming down the hill towards the scene of my accident just after it happened. I guess when the cars ahead of them stopped for more than a minute with no one coming up the hill, the ambulance drove around the line of cars and got me. I was at the hospital in 5-6 minutes but I was out cold. Fast forward a few days.. my coma had become medically-sustained and things were looking bad. My parents were basically told that if I survived, they would essentially be caring for a vegetative body in a bed.
My mother is a psychotherapist who offers to her clients a method of neurological therapy called Neurofeedback. Think of it as basically hooking your brain up to a computer for neurological retraining. Neurofeedback has more information for anyone interested, but it's basically instant audiovisual feedback that subconsciously gets your brain to reroute itself to.. i don't know, do things better. Anyway, she asked my doctors if she could hook me up, and they told her it was fine (not because it was just "some harmless thing" my mom does, but rather because the only way my condition could have been worse was if I had died). They had no other starting points.
Dr Mom hooked me up to do sessions for a few weeks and I actually came-to. It would take weeks of recovery and physical/speech/occupational therapy but I sort of just stubbornly refused to stop getting better. Neurofeedback has played what I believe to be a key roll in not only my escaping the odds and getting this second chance, but also the speed with which I got better. I was discharged from the clinic about two months after the accident.
The company that makes the software my mom uses is called Neuroptimal. They caught wind of my miraculous recovery and offered to fly us to their annual conference to show me off. Free trip to California to escape February on the east coast, sign me up. They filmed an interview to get our testiment to their software's efficacy, linked below. It's been almost ten years since the video was filmed, and boy has it been a ride. My ex and I got married in 2015, had a daughter in 2017, got divorced in 2019, my fiancée and I met in 2020 (man is that a story), our son was born in 2021 and I have had more jobs than I can possibly stand a chance at counting. I still feel like I'm meant for something bigger and it's really frustrating that I can't figure out what it is, but it's important to me that I keep perspective on this all - I should be a vegetable, if alive at all, yet no one has any idea untill I tell them. I try not to fall back on it too much as an excuse for things but I often feel it is the.. I don't know, reason (justification?) for some of my shortcomings. Whatever.

Hello everyone! I apologize for the lengthy post.
I’m hoping for some more detailed advice on proper wound care for an incision that hasn’t been healing well post-op. To start, I am a second year physician assistant student so I have a fairly strong medical background but would appreciate some additional guidance. Photos linked at bottom taken yesterday (POD 13).
27yo F 5’4 170 lbs
PMHx: asthma, GERD, cataracts, MDD, GAD
Meds: sertraline 150mg, bupropion 450mg, multivitamin, albuterol inhaler PRN, Flovent 2 puffs daily, omeprazole PRN
Procedure: laparoscopic bilateral salpingectomy for elective sterilization with pelvic exam, Pap smear, and IUD placement completed on 8/30 at hospital surgical center. Same day d/c on oxycodone 5 mg PRN, zofran 4 mg PRN, tylenol and ibuprofen PRN.
Good post-op pain control, no concerns until POD 5 when umbilicus wound site became infected after dermabond was removed prematurely (I take full responsibility for this, it was itchy and I picked at it). Mild drainage, erythematous, swollen around surgical site. Other sites healing fine with mild redness and scabbing.
POD 6 went to urgent care and was given 7 day course of Augmentin and swab taken for culture. No results yet. Informed surgical site had dehisced. Was told to keep it open to air and dry, wipe drainage as necessary and continue q3hr pain management with Tylenol and ibuprofen. Avoiding showering within the next day or two.
POD 7-12 continued Augmentin as directed and avoided covering unless showering. Site continued to be itchy, swollen, red, and drain mild amount of yellowish fluid.
POD 13 (yesterday) went to OBGYN surgeon for 2 week post-op follow up. Confirmed no underlying abscess. No significant improvement with 6 days of Augmentin use. Wound was dried and Steri strips placed. Was told to leave them on and return in 2-3 weeks if still not improved. Inquired about showering, daily cleaning, etc and was essentially told to leave it alone and take OTC pain meds as needed and continue modified activity. No additional abx prescribed.
POD 14 is today. I’m concerned it should be healing better than it is at this point. I have not been touching or irritating the site since my urgent care visit and have been careful to cover while showering.
In particular, I’m hoping for clarification on:

1. Should I be cleaning this regularly? What should I use to clean it? The steri strips applied on POD 13 fell off yesterday evening. I cleaned the area with sterile saline and gauze given to me by the clinic and reapplied new steri strips yesterday evening.
   
2. When should this be covered and when should it be left open? Currently leaving to air out overnight and covering with non adhesive gauze during the day to prevent further irritation.
   
3. After doing proper wound care, when should I expect some improvement? When would it be appropriate to return for another follow up if it still doesn’t look better in x number of days? I was told a few weeks per my surgeon but that seems like quite a long time from now.
   

Any other advice is greatly appreciated! I hope it’s just me overreacting but I want to make sure I’m doing everything possible to expedite healing.

Its that time of the league when I've made enough currency to start another build.
However, once again, Im faced with the same old issue - I need to redo my entire atlas, and I need to keep redoing my atlas every time I want to swap between my characters, which would bne multiple times per day and completely unsustainable.
Now, I am by no means calling the current atlas bad, in fact its the best atlas the game has had since the original atlas of worlds atlas back in 2.4. However, the one place where it sucks is that it makes running multiple builds impossible.
The conquerors atlas, for all its fault, was a million times better here. If you wanted to play a character with a different playstyle and different preffered maps & league mechanics, all you had to do was switch to another zone. With all 8 zones having their owns watchstones and league mechanics, at most you needed to respec a few nodes at a time.
But now if I want to switch between a character that is doing heist + essence and a character that wants to do abyss + legion, well though shit, I cannot do that.
And the worst part is, it doesnt have to be this way. There is 0 reason for the atlas skill tree to be account wide - its a skill tree. Your character passive tree isnt shared between all characters and you arent "forced" to use the same passive tree for all characters, because it would be a massive pain in the ass for no gain whatsoever.

Now that CSGO reddit is back and the player break is here it’s a great time to talk about the future stars of Counter Strike. There were 2 steps I went through to make this list; narrowing down who qualifies as a prospect and determining how to rank them.
 
Step 1: Who qualifies as a prospect? I defined a prospect as someone who has not been in a Tier 1 team for more than 25 maps and someone who has played more than 75 HLTV recorded maps over the past year. (Shoutout to xertioN, NertZ, SunPayus, headtr1ck, Patsi, and w0nderful who recently got disqualified from prospect status but would have made this list.)
 
Step 2: How to rank the prospects? I used lots of different factors such as age, opening duel%, flash assists, HLTV rating, Awp%, and performance on LAN to name some. All the stats I used are from the last 12 months. I then weighed the factors in terms of my perceived importance to produce the first draft. After researching each individual further I put together what I would consider the top 20 prospects in Counter Strike.
 
Note 1: I eliminated joel from this list due to his unclear future in CS. Note 2: I wrote this almost 2 weeks ago, some numbers may be slightly different.
 
20 ewjerkz - SAW The 22 year old Portuguese entry fragger boasts an impressive 28.3% opening duel on T side while still putting up a 1.11 rating against the top 30 over 69 maps. His most impressive series was on October 26 last year where he posted a 1.64 rating and 112 ADR over 81 rounds in a 2-1 win versus GamerLegion.
19 skullz - paiN The first of 2 Brazilians on this list is skullz, a 21 year old who has excelled against tier 1 competition where he has a 1.10 rating over 9 maps. Even more impressively he has posted a 1.15 against the top 20 on LANs.
18 r3salt - Forze r3salt is a Russian headshot machine. At only 18 years old he has a 59% HS over almost 200 maps. A few weeks ago his team played BNE and over 3 maps he had a 82% KAST and 1.40 rating. He also plays quite aggressively on the T side with a 24% opening duel.
17 jL - Apeks He may be the second oldest player in the top 20, but jL still deserves a tier 1 future. The 23 year old Lithuanian has a 1.10 versus top 30 over 70 maps. Just 2 weeks ago he had one of his best series ever including a 1.63 Mirage vs mouz.
16 deko - 1WIN deko is the first AWPer and second Russian on this list. He has a 1.10 rating over 33 maps against top 20 teams. The 21 year old has a quite low 11.1% opening duel on T side.
15 zorte - Forze The oldest player on the list is Zorte, who freshly turned 25. Just like deko, he is a Russian AWPer. To counter his age, he posts an impressive 1.17 rating versus top 20 teams over 50 maps and 0.12 flash assists per round. He also has a 1.19 LAN rating over 43 maps.
14 try - 9z Try is the only player from Argentina on the top 20. He is 18 years old and is the main AWPer for 9z. Last year he was swapped 1 for 1 with nqz on 00Nation. At IEM Dallas this year he had a 1.16 over 6 maps. He also has put up a rating over 1.05 at every event he’s attended on 9Z (minimum 5 maps played).
13 lauNX - Sprout Of all the 20 players on this list, lauNX is the most polarizing to me. He has great aim (55% HS), has incredible games (1.77, 109 ADR vs Forze), and only just turned 18. However he seems to struggle against higher competition (0.98 versus top 20 over 47 maps) and only has a 1.00 LAN rating over 56 maps against all competition.
12 siuhy - GamerLegion The Paris major put siuhy on the map. He is a 20 year old IGL on GamerLegion, the runners up at the most recent major. siuhy does not have the fragging power of the others on this list, but he makes up for it with his IGL skills. He is rumored to be going to mouz.
11 insani - MIBR insani bursted onto the scene and instantly seemed like one of the best players on MIBR. He has a 1.16 rating against top 50 teams while being aggressive with a 24% opening duel. The 19 year old has the potential to be rated higher but has gone missing against top 5 teams in a small sample so far (0.77 over 5 maps).
10 mhL - Endpoint Endpoint has produced stars consistently such as flameZ and NertZ and mhL could very well be the next in line. The 21 year old Polish AWPer has a 1.16 rating against top 20 teams over 26 maps. He has a 20% opening duel which is substantially higher than the average AWPer.
9 shalfey - Forze Forze gets their 3rd player on the list at #9. shalfey has posted a 1.13 against top 30 on LAN over 28 maps. He is 21 years old and the 4th Russian player thus far. shalfey has been burning bright recently too, posting a 1.21 over 26 maps since May 26.
8 nilo - Young Ninjas Gone are the days of Swedish CS supremacy, as nilo is the only Swede to place in the top 20. He is the standout of NiP’s academy team and in his limited age (18) and experience against top 20 teams has shown up (1.21 over 7 maps).
7 h4rn - Biskvitki Zakuska The 23 year old Bulgarian has an insane 1.29 rating over 9 maps versus top 20 teams. He also put up 69 frags in 67 rounds versus Apeks late last year. His 25.6% opening duel on CT side is absurdly high for an AWPer. He is also an IGL according to Liquipedia.
6 zont1x - Spirit Academy The 3rd youngest player on the list, zont1x has been an integral part of the tier 2 academy juggernaut Spirit Academy. Over 10 maps he has a 1.16 versus top 10 teams at just 17 years old. He is expected to be promoted to the main Spirit team at some point.
5 iM - GamerLegion The second player from GamerLegion and second Romanian is iM. He dominated the Paris major with a 1.35 over 12 maps. He has also done great against top 5 teams (1.14 over 13 maps). The only reason the Romanian isn’t #1 is that he has 5+ years more experience than all the top 4.
4 Jimpphat - Mouz Nxt Jimpphat is from Finland and is the 2nd youngest player on the list at 16.8 years old. Several days ago over 6 maps against Sprout and Endpoint he posted a 1.48 and 60% HS. He has an extremely low 12.3% opening duel on T side and seems to fall off against higher competition but the talent here is undeniable. He is also Sergej’s brother.
3 Staehr - Sprout Astralis has already seemed to scoop him up for 2024 but for now the 18 year old Dane qualifies as a prospect still. He has a 1.13 against top 10 teams over 15 maps with an impressive 26.3% opening duel on T side. Perhaps the greatest acclaim for Staehr was devices quote from 2 weeks ago when he said Staehr is one of the best talents Denmark has had in 5 years.
2 BOROS - Monte BOROS is my personal favorite on the entire list to watch. He is a madman (32.7% opening duel on T side) who hits as many headshots as the best in the world (63.3%!!!). The 19 year old excelled at the Paris major with a 1.20 rating over 16 maps. He also has a LAN rating of 1.25 against top 5 teams over 8 maps.
1 donk - Spirit Academy I’ve made a few top 20 prospects lists dating back to 2017. My #1 ranked players have included ZywOo, frozen, joel, and sh1ro. Purely as a prospect, I think donk is possibly more impressive than those 4. He has a ridiculous 1.32 rating against top 20 teams over 15 maps as a 16 year old! He also plays an aggressive T side (25.6% opening). The Russian has a 1.44 pistol rating and 63% HS. The biggest name team he has played against was BIG in February this year. In 53 rounds, he posted 54 kills, 104 ADR, and a 1.58 rating.

Morning hombres 🙌. 1 measly fucking goal away from the most terrific we was... but alas ne'er came. Instead - another positive step at least - two weeks running now, we've made a nice wee profit, which for sure pours scorn on the suggestion the off-season willnae be fruitful. A long ways to go sure, so no quite unzipping the cardigan afore tossing it in a loose pile on the sofa just yet. But in the grander scheme, back-to-back profits are a world apart from the continuous dross being pumped out just afore. And for sure - yon late goal claimed by Halmstad, really gave reason to leap about the place in wild delight. Imagine sure, if yon winning Halmstad goal had meant the Treble... hoo mama. Wasnae just a last minute goal either; 1 up they went in the 82 minute, only to be pegged back in the 89th. So yous can imagine the expletives pouring out Dads Mouth as the winner fired home. Felt like a rewards of sorts - the GG's letting us know that luck has been afforded to Dad, just without precise details as to the where and fucking when. Here - given all that's happened - Dad'll take that 👍
Exhaution discussed there in Stanza 3 of the Wisdom y'day - perhaps a smidge dramatic when applied directly to Dads current state; one is able to move and speak and do all the normal shite, fear no. Just you should see Dad beyond 7pm - a permanent fixutree upon the floor, allowing time for muscles to slowly pop back into place and of course the eyelids to rest gently together for patches of 10 or 20 minutes. Most evenings are snapshots of various goings-on these days... no really sure much about owt truth bne told. Convos ended abruptly by sudden bouts of semi-consciousness. Tis a pain in the arse sure - oft frustration felt by all if attempts are being made to discuss important matters. Ach here - wolves are to be kept from doors at all times and Dad isnae letting the pace slip up now - especially given there's a light as bright as e'er witnessed at the end of the proverbial. Dad is doing what Dad cannae help but do - at ones cagey best until absolute facts back up the hope. Reminding oneself to remain diligent, calm and responsible - listen to those whom are presenting the opportunity and do ones utmost to apply the most sensible and responsible approach. Dads learnt that too much Dad too soon, can oft lead to confusion and angst; letting the characteristics tumble gently into the mix at a controlled and temperate speed is best - gives cunts a chance to let the light in and show Dad the respect he probably deserves. Tis a bigger world than one hath been accustomed to in more lucrative times... many folks cutting about, who undoubtedly will remain a sparse formal encounter for much the time. A terrific part of what feels like a transitional spell for Dad & Co... so long it has been a case of waiting patiently for summat to drop and present a ways out of the mire and into a pair of dancing shoes. But for sure, folks let you know when they feel a gap in their requirements; they get used to perusing a certain style and henceforth feel a bitty empty when it isnae on tap. Controlling the urge to rise up and just start spit balling, is summat that gets easier with time - saturation is a beast one must figure out how to avoid on their own... the figure at which repulsion occurs is different for every cunt - alls one can do is try and test. Tis possible to steer clear for too long as well tbf... and that's the art of it - perfecting the art of timing. Dads made a right cunt of it in times gone by... the responsibility of acting upon demand is tough when there's an endless array of options to choose from. Pick the wrong one and it's back a few levels of varying quantities. Many get frustrating at the constancy of up 'n' dahns... but for Dad - it's another chance to learn, to tackle similar situs in different ways - finding out what works best in any given scenario. Even that's an evolution moving swiftly... tough to keep up these days with what cunts desire. Important therefore to carve your own niche - if you fall, you have the branches of familiarity to grasp hold of. Stick with it: that's all you can tell a cunt - short of grabbing the keyboard off them and dictating pish... and that doesnae fucking help any cunt - no really. Believe in yourself, your product and of course your ability to promote; the cunts telling you you're pish are a tiny cross-section of a massive audience. Eventually - you'll get there probably 🫶

It’s surprising the psycho keeps finding me and the police can’t. Compare their resources. The cops have investigators, eyedrones, and spyware. The psycho has a one word vocabulary and a tendency to stab doors. One organization seems more pursuit capable. And yet here we are.
Not sure how I feel about it. It’s easier to evade the psycho, but safer to get caught by the police. Better to surrender than fight a knife with a spoon. Unless surrendering gets me locked up with a bunch of stabby psychos.

For now, I'd like to avoid everyone. To do that, I need to figure out how the psycho keeps finding me.

Which is usually within a hundred feet of the target. Gets you pretty close.

My apathy extends to driving our stolen truck. It’s objectively a bad decision - the police could be watching. But at my age, long walks are also risky. The cops are probably asleep. If their d-bots hassle me I’ll disappear in a trashbag.
We get to the clinic without any drama. The veterinary d-bot is a bed, a multipurpose arm, and a hologram of a dude in a lab coat. Functional and reassuring. I like him. Also, he starts my examination without asking for ID or payment, so that’s good.
He squints at me for a minute. “I don’t treat humans.”
The Dark City d-bots are pretty smart but seem weak at visual identification. “I’m a talking chimp.”
Doc-bot nods. “Cool. Very popular these days. Do you have an ant report?”
After a brief file transfer, the Doc shakes his head. “Well, I see why you love her. Look at this DNA. She’s a classic. But she’s seen better days. On a molecular level, she’s toast. It’s more humane to build a new one. Cheaper too. I’ll fire up the cloner.”
Volt is aghast, but Doc makes some solid points. I’m very tired. “It may be time to let go. Just give me a shot of Super Strong and we’ll skedaddle.”
“No!” Volt snaps. “I love her! Fix her!”
Doc and I share a look. This is awkward. He lays on some bedside manner. “Look, it’s not just her many diseases, these DNA mutations are way past critical mass. Apes naturally get 50 DNA mutations a year, and no mammal can function properly after 3000 or so. That’s when old age hits hard and everything goes at once. That’s what we’re seeing here, except it started a few decades ago.
“Immortalis can heal DNA, by snipping out sections of damaged dominant genes and replacing them with their undamaged recessive partner. But that process is lengthy and physically demanding. In her condition, she’d only die faster.”

“Yeah, I’m not giving you Super Strong. It would end you in agony. Also, Super Strong chimps are a terrible idea. You’re bitey little bastards.”
Dammit. Betrayed by my lies. While I contemplate a future without superpowers, Volt tries another tack. “What about other treatments? Could we build her up enough to survive Immortalis?”
Doc chuffs. “I don’t know. Most of her energy is spent feeding tumors. Theoretically, if we slow the cancer, she’d have some resources for other healing. But even Immune B could push her over the edge.”
Doc visibly concentrates. We wait.
“We could smash the tumors mechanically. Blast them with soundwaves. That will free up some energy to fix her general frailty. Freshen up her bone marrow, so she can grow better blood. Some skeleflex wouldn’t hurt either. She’s one good jump from having no knee cartilage.
“With the cancer slowed and the ability to survive a slip and fall, she could live through the week. If she does, a quarter dose of Regen A would revive some muscle tone. If she survives that… I don’t know? Another ant report? See where she’s at?”
He shakes his head slowly. “Lots of ifs here. Many probable points of failure. But it’s the only way I see forward. Even if it works, she won’t be ready for Immortalis for at least a year. It’ll be a photo-finish between drugs and entropy.”
I raise my hand. “Question. Can I have some No Bleed?”
“No. That’s a synthetic blood substitute. We’d have to replace 15% of your blood for it to work. You need all your blood to fix the rest of your body.”
“Cool, but I don’t wanna bleed.”
“Are you bleeding right now?”
“No.”
“Then fuck off.”
Now that we’re saving me, the bedside manner appears to be turned off.
I lay down and get blasted with targeted ultrasound for the next hour. It’s not exactly painful, but I don’t like it.
“Your body will pass the crushed tumors. You had a fuckload, so expect some weird pee. I won’t say it’s normal - normally you’d be dead - but it’s what’s going to happen.”
“Alright. Why can’t I get any super powers?”
“Most of the super-enhancing drugs are designer endosymbionts. They grow new organelles in each cell of your body. You need to be in amazing shape to survive the process. You also need a vet dumb enough to give a chimp superpowers.”
The future is terrible. Also annoying.
We slip out on the bill and Volt drives us to a new building. It’s a bad idea to let her drive, but I’m wiped, and there’s no one else on the road. We crash in the first empty apartment we find. Utterly beat.
