Samsung i unblocked

Hi there, this is a serious question I have, when I was a teen at school I got my first phone "HTC Wildfire S" it was a tiny lil thing and I loved it.
Android on that HTC Wildfire S that had a 600mhz CPU was for it's time pretty fast and responsive considering the hardware that was inside.
Today you have all the top notch stuff, true Gaming Phones with special cooling vapor chambers and 16GB RAM etc. but they feel extremely bloated for what they have inside.
If you look at the older Android versions, it looked how it looked, it was responsive, fast, no useless stuff like animations and other trash. Now using Android feels like looking at iOS except it's slower, less reliable, bloats itself after some time and becomes much slower.
There are also things that aren't very thought out, for example I have an alarm set lets say at 18:00, the tablet is without any pins etc because it has just tiktok, IG and all the other social bloat on it and it's always at home so I see no reason for having a Pin on it.
Now when the Alarm goes off at 18:00 it has that symbol I need to tap and drag so it goes off, but the same thing unlocks my tablet and it stays unlocked. Like the task at 18:00 was just alarm goes off to remind me... i turn off the alarm and it should be done. Why is it unblocking the whole Tablet and showing me the Home Screen then I need to lock it. It's a very simple little thing, but they are much more of those...
For example there is a notification led on the front screen, that blinks most of the time in bright green, at night even if you have "SLEEP MODE" means "IF NO ONE IS DYING I DON'T CARE" but the little damn led sends a green light beam into the universe like I want talk to aliens.
I got myself a Smart Watch with WatchOS (android), I bought this smart watch so I'm less on my phone and it is less annoying when cycling. I can't ditch my phone, I need to have multi sim and my phone sends again notifications to my smartwatch instead these two being two different entities.
I dislike Android more and more, the only reason why I even consider it a thing is because /e/OS exists. Sadly my Google Pixel 3A died so I need to use a normal Android.
I had many phones and I think they are all trash just because of Android, Rog Phone 4 5 6, Zenphone 10, Samsung S10, S23, Sony V1, and some others... I'm looking forward to some Linux based SmartWatch where anyone can program anything and just download an "apk" and install it, no Google bloat, no Apple

So, the Galaxy A52S was pretty awesome, has 1/8" aux audio jack, and gets Geekbench 5: 761 Single, 2404 Multi with the Snapdragon 778G upper midrange chip.
The current Galaxy A54 gets GB5: 772 Single 2616 Multi, so the A52s is basically equivalent, was a great device, punches well above it's weight 💪.
But, I cannot connect even to Wifi or Hotspot/tethering. Only can connect to USB to PC or MTP browsing.
Any way to fix this? Will a factory reset help? Or once I can get the IMEI unblocked thru carrier, will this possibly help? I had thought IMEI reported lost/stolen did not affect Wifi, but some people seem to think it does.
I prob also reported it lost thru Google privacy & security, tho I clearly didn't request a remote factory reset or blocking sign in/unlock if that was an option.
Any tips? Will factory reset help? I'd rather not go thru that step because a) it's all set up how I prefer, and b) has like 20GB of mp3 files and mixed sets.

So, I found an old phone I'd reported lost ~2 years ago.
Which is great, it's the old Galaxy A52S, good Snapdragon chip and last model with the 1/8" aux audio ~~ dongle~~ jack, so, good for wired 🎧 people, audio pros/nerds.
But, I am unable to connect to wifi or Hotspots. Or even to connect via USB to another android device or my windows laptop.
Edit #2: I finally was able to connect for like transfer via MTP Host, which is a step in the right direction direction.
Still, I really need a way to report this device "found by Owner" to Google and my mobile network provider, to unblock the device/IMEI, so I can update the OS as well as update and sync Apps. For instance I have 14GB of downloaded YouTube videos at any given time, mostly 🎶 🎹 but also news programs and such.
Is this because the IMEI was reported lost and possibly blocked/blacklisted?
Edit #1: Also i prob signed out and/or reported it lost on Google's security & privacy page where u can see all your devices, so, will cross post this on AndroidQuestions or something.
Not planning on using this with a SIM, just as a wifi/audio/music device. But, all internet connections appear blocked, even USB tethering.
Any advice/help? Can I report it "found " so I can connect to Wifi?
If I just put my current active Sim in, will this help?
At this point, i just want to retrieve files before I reset the device, if all else fails. Tho ideally I wouldn't have to reset, because it is still a lot or work to tweak and set up a new Samsung Device the way I prefer it, without using the Smart Switch feature.

Hi everyone.
So I face the " A media driver your computer needs is missing" issue that several people are seeing while trying to install Win 11 on a new PC build...
Problem being that:

• My pc case only has USB 3.0 and 3.1 so forget the "go port 2.0" solution
• My drive is a SAMSUNG 990 pro 2Tb. I managed to create a primary partition using the command on the "repair" option of the installer but even if I can now see a C: disk, I still got the message.
• Trying to just get a driver for the SAMSUNG ssd is IMPOSSIBLE !! does anyone have a solution to this? Where can I just find the drivers for the Hard Drive, without passing by the wizard ? samsung is bugging us with their stupid WIZARD and how exactly am I supposed to run a wizard to update my drivers if I don't have Win installed ??

Does anyone know how to just install the driver? Also, is the "Intel rapid storage stuff" compatible with the Samsung ssd ?
I really need help guys, if someone could explain. If I need to make more verif in BIOS, please let me know, otherwise how can I unblock this situation?
Also, just creating the USB boot for Win 11 was an absolute purge, I had to go recreating the ISO without the autorun etc... because nothing would work otherwise. Could the issue come from this? This was a fix that I found on Reddit because just doing the standard Boot key would just not work. I had to use Rufus and Winarchiver, which I find absurd because Microsoft should provide a direct USB installer normally no? Why doesn't it work properly?
I really don't understand why things just got soo screwed up right now! That's not my first PC build, but I don't remember having had so many difficulties before...

So, I managed to resolve the situation so I will leave this comment here for anyone who face the same situation in the future..
If you face the "A media driver your computer needs is missing" issue, you may want to troubleshoot in the following manner:
First of all, a special shoutout to Microsoft technical support who spent a good half hour with me on the chat and also found all the issues that led to this situation!

• Yes, the troubleshooting started by asking if the USB drive was too old or malfunctioning. Apparently, that could be a cause of the bad installation. In my case, it wasn't. Also, the drive needs more than 8Go of free capacity so take a 32Go or more and you'll be fine. Don't forget that you will have to format it, so don't have anything valuable on the USB stick.
  
• Second and most importantly, the USB drive must be formatted in NTFS! Before installing the Boot system from Windows 11 from the page (the second on the list) the technician explained that FAT32 (that is picked by default) is compatible with MAC but definitely creates broken installers for PC .... something people would have certainly liked to know before, right? So NTFS before downloading the Boot on the USB guys, that's super important!!!
  

I wouldn't have had to go through all the shenanigans of recreating the ISO with Rufus and all, if I had known earlier that the install kept failing because of this.

• People say that Port USB 3.0 can also be faulty and in this case you may want to try your other USB ports, especially go into a 2.0. In my case I only had 3.0 and 3.1 Ports so it wasn't the issue here.
  
• After successfully using the USB key to install the Boot of Win 11, the installer this time went through the "enter Product Key" page. Something that wasn't appearing before. However, once the key was entered (or used the button "I don't have a Product Key" ) then the request for drivers reappeared anyway...
  
• Suggestion from the technician: In order to find the driver that you need, look into the MOTHERBOARD manufacturer (in this case ASUS) and not the HARDDRIVE manufacturer (In my case Samsung)! Turns out, he was right!
  

Asus, Gigabyte, or MSI are actually going to have the correct Intel Storage ... driver (ISRT) adapted to their motherboard while trying to get the right driver directly at Samsung proved completely impossible !! So much time wasted !!

• Put the updated driver on a separate USB, with eventually a WIFI or LAN driver (the installer will ask you later to connect to the internet, so you may need the drivers) and keep it ready for the moment it asks you for the drivers.
  
• When the installer ask you for the driver, click on Browse and then select the USB folder that contain the driver exe. just click on it and you should see the various partitions of your harddrive appear in the box.
  

The question of creating the proper partition is something else... It turned out that I also created a partition that was incompatible with the installation (something related to MRB and not EFI or I don't know what....) but the system allowed me to delete the partition, then click on the "New" button. Magic, the installer created directly the partitions it needed...
However, remember that if you want separate partitions for installing Windows and installing your data, you will need to make sure to allocate different values than the max Go taken by default. Otherwise, the all disk will be the partition of windows.
Then choose your Drive proper partition (you will see below an error message if the partition is not the right one with the proper format that windows needs. It will tell you that it cannot install here) and continue the install.

• If you have a WIFI card like me, I found this help online to allow the installer to find the available networks:

Press SHIFT + F10 to open the command console. Enter the following command: C:\Windows\explorer.exe & exit
It will automatically find the available Wifi networks and you can pick the right one to connect to internet and finalize the installation!

About a month ago I told my mom that til she starts working in her traumas and issues, a relationship between us won't work. That went as well as you think it did. She ended up blocking me on Facebook (that's were we had the conversation). I left her unblocked for a week on Facebook, and I unblocked her contact without telling her.
She texted me yesterday saying she misses me, I have a Samsung so it won't tell you if you are blocked or not when you text someone. I feel so guilty.

For past days i struggle with following problem.
My phone is Samsung s20 Fe.
I have laptop with usb - A and usb - C.
When i connect my phone to laptop with usb A - usb C cable everything works fine. Transfer and charging. I can see data on my phone from the laptop and phone is visible at Device manager.
But when i connect with usb C - usb C laptop dosent see the phone. No data transfer avaible. Phone doesn't pop up at Device manager. Charging is working.
Issue goes only to my phone. Other phones connected via usb C on laptop works fine transfecharging and pops up at the Device manager. It is not a cable issue. Tested many of it. Laptop usb C works ok with other phones.
Seems like the problem is not the cable/drivers/laptop usb C. It must be something I did on my phone propably. Possible change of settings but cant find it so far. I do have Developer options menu unblocked.
Any advise ?

I've been running a pi-hole via unraid docker container for about a year. I usually sit between 150-200k queries in a day, with a 35% block rate. We cut the cord, have a ton of IoT devices, and 6-8 humans living in the house when no guests are over. My Samsung TV is usually my worst offender with netflix around 3000-5000 hits queries in a day.
I came home from lunch today and just happened to notice in my Pi-Hole app I had over 600k hits. We have a Eufy robo vacuum, that does regularly communicate "home", it was sitting at nearly 500k hits, about 370 times a minute, from vg6uyxlsv7.execute-api.us-east-2.amazonaws.com . The Eufy is not new, we've had it for as long as the pi-hole has been up and this has not occurred before.
These were not blocked either, as I know, sometimes when something is "blocked" via Pi-Hole the devices keeps attempting to make the communication. Just to see what would happen, I blocked it, and it increased to 1,500 queries per minute. I am at 876k queries and climbing fast. My router shows about 4GB of traffic from that device in 24 hours. Typically its about 25 MB a day.
Does anyone have experience with this? Must be something on their end or the device malfunctioning. It still behaves normally blocked or unblocked. I checked for a firmware update, but there was none. I know this doesn't indicate something wrong with the pi-hole, seems to be doing its job, however I am curious if anyone has seen this before? I feel like I would need to have the vacuum bypass just to not skew my statistics, but then what is the point.
**Edit** is it possible to rate-limit a specific device?

I check my call log and sms plus voicemail nothing then i went check my contact list his number been blocked… I’m confused cause I never block my work mate number at all I unblocked it he called me before I unblocked him to show me I’ve been calling you which was odd then look at my contact found half my contact was block including him.
I have passcode on my fone so nobody can gain access
I want to know how can this happen?

I have a Samsung S23 Ultra and recently installed the latest updated (6.1) with Android version 14.
I use both WhatsApp and Teams heavily for my work, and I have them both connected to my work laptop.
I am wondering if there is an option to set the notifications on timer : for ex I stop receiving notifications from the apps from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. As I receive a lot of messages I have to block the notifications every morning and then unblock them after work hours.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,One month ago I broke my favourite smarphone of all time, it was rugged, working fine, ok pictures, never let me down. Broke the screen and repaired it ... Unfortunatly, this time was the one too much for the poor phone. I broke the screen and got it leaking. I got a quote to fix it, but it was pretty expensive, so after I twice tried to do it myself without success I decided to save some and buy a new phone.I Tried to look to buy the same but though I could go for the same price range to best buy and get the A54 5G ... After talking to the sellers that probably don't care much about my wallet, after comparing the specs, comparing with other samsung, looking at refurbish "upper phone" etc etc ... Finaly I got a BRAND NEW Samsung A54 5G.
What a piece of crap. First of all it's expensive, compare to the one I got back then. I have a kid and I can't take ONE picture that is not blurry. The old one was slow to process the shot but got me some good photo for memories, that what I need. I'm not an influencer that need to prepare is shoot and take picture of standing plate of quinoa salads, I just want MEMORIES !
Also the phone is in my hand for less than an hour and is boiling, I have no app running, it's empty, freshly turn on, and I can cook a egg in my palm. I don't know if it's the 5G, my wifi or something, but it's ridiculously warm.
I would like to stay with Samsung.I would like to get in the same price range or cheaper.Dual Sim mandatory. Or 1 sim + 1 esimUnblock/International.
Options :If it has some water proofing and AUX jack, would be great.

hello all! i was given my moms old laptop(samsung chromebook) as a graduation gift last year. its been a wonderful gift ive gotten much use out of it but im curious as to what other games i can run on it. i dont know anything about crouton or anything of its sorts, i am not looking to run a highpower game or download any software. im looking to find fun browser games that arent call of war or line rider. im just a girl and i just wanna play some cute games sometimes and i cant access any cute games like animal jam or wizards101 on the device. im really hoping theres some out there that fit what im looking for, throw me some suggestions, im open to all! all my research has led me to "school chromebook unblocked games" "school laptop games you dont know about" and theyre like coolmath games and things similar but that kind of stuff isnt what im looking for. i know it sounds contradicting; wanting cute games like animal jam and yet not wanting kid games like coolmath, im not really sure the exact genre im searching for. but like i said, im open to everything:)

My oven in my ~4 yr old Samsung gas range has started taking a really long time to heat. It can take over an hour to get to 400. It also smells strongly of gas initially for ~15-20 min but that smell eventually dissipates. The inside of the oven is clean and the gas jets look clean and unblocked. At least I can't visually see anything that would be causing an issue. Every 2nd or 3rd time I use it though it heats up in a normal amount of time and no gas smell. I thought that might have to do with how recently it was used but when it works properly doesn't seem to correlate to whether I had used it the day before or a week before. Anyone have an idea what the issue might be here? I won't be fixing it myself most likely but would like to have some sense of the problem.

Why i am bothering to make this post: the screen is cracked on my hand-me-down S8 and the touch has been failing near the top of the phone so my janky workaround for play/pause of music does not work as the part of the screen i need to press does not work (sometimes it works)
Why cheap phone? cause if a $200 from 10 year old phone has the performance i need i see no reason to waste money on something expensive that is designed to be replaced in a year or so
On another site i was suggested a Xiaomi Redmi 13C, but that was the only reply and i do not know if it would even be in English out of the box and i do not understand how carrier compatibility works
Important features:

• Has 3.5mm audio jack
• Has a SD card slot (or a silly amount of storage and cheap; gl w/ that)
  • Cause paying for data so you can pay for a steaming service while hoping you single is good enough just so you can listen to music is stupid
• Has working wifi roaming (this is what made my stop using a Samsung S5 (mid 2022), it says it is connected but it does not work)
  • Using Ubiquity WiFi 6 APs

Service provider:

• I am currently using a plan from Spectrum (one that is free for the 1st year)
  • i have 1 month of that left and it looks like ting has a $6 plan
• so i will probably either use ting, try to get my 'free' plan extended, or just not have phone service on it
• years ago there were pay as you go plans that did not expire at the end of a month from Walmart (b4 phones became 'smart') if some provider offers this that would be ideal, does that exist anymore?
• Note that in 11 months i do not think i have even used 10 MiB of data combined

Nice to have:

• physical button i can use for play/pause of music player
• Quick access to a flashlight on the lock screen
• camera that takes images that do not look what what i see without my glasses on,
  • preferably better than a $20 point/shoot digital camera from 2005
• replaceable battery (i charged the battery on the S5 by using a diff phone and strapping the battery to it as the charge port was shot)

I do not care about (w/ phones):

• What OS it is (apple/android)
  • really do not expect anyone here to suggest a apple phone as i do not think there is a single model with the features i care about
• USB C / Micro USB
• watching videos
• playing games
• front camera (hole punch/notch are dumb, but it does not affect my use case)
  • if a front camera did not exist i would not care
• finger print sensors, i am never putting bio-metric data on a phone ever, the thing is just annoying waking the phone up when you pull it out of your pocket anyway

Things that have annoyed the %^&* out of me using a S8

• settings to not put apps to sleep do not work, you paused your music app for 30 seconds now you have to unlock the phone again so you can hit play, very annoying when you use password unblock and it is not short one, i also hate typing on phones

Use case notes:

• I have been using "BlackPlayer Music Player" cause google music does not allow over 1k songs locally
  • i have near 3k, around 9 days of audio, all i want from a music player is i give it a folder and it plays files from random from it and the sub folders
• i have been using norootfirewall to prevent apps form accessing the internet that have no reason to
• where a normal person gets a day out of there phone i get a week (i was still able to get a day or so out of that S5, given i think it was so bad a load spike could kill it)
• only thing i use a web browser (Firefox focus) for is to load a few bookmarks so i can check the weather and access some DIY home automation
• aside from that the only thing i use on it is google voice and email, and when i say use i mean just read a message or get notified of one, anything else and i use my desktop as 9 times out of 10 it is faster than trying to type on a phone

Dear brothers in righteousness, this post is about exactly what the title sounds like. It is meant for the brothers and sisters who're trying to quite and refrain from porn but are facing difficulties and have relapsed before.For a sin like pornography and masturbation, the biggest thing that makes this sin so incredibly difficult to permanently overcome in this day and age is its easy accessibility. Such content is 'within the reach of your hand'. Willpower & determination to quit is necessary and the starting step but that alone may not be sufficient for most of us. Therefore, I created a system of a complete firewall which eliminates accessibility to porn by and large. The idea is: if you can't access pornographic content, you literally cannot relapse. To implement this system fully/even partially, you need determination & willingness but after the system is put in place, what's required is just maintaining the firewall. For context, I have 3 devices (phone, tablet & laptop). I basically blocked access via the following steps:
i)Downloaded a parental control app on all my devices and bought a subscription (For me, it was Qustodio). Then I made an account and attached my 3 devices to the parental account. The subscription is necessary to block apps and while the subscription will cost you about 30-40 USD a year, as long as you have money to pay, the subscription is more than worth it, especially for such a noble cause.
ii)Blocked "Pornography" and "Entertainment" categories for all 3 devices via the parental control app. This would automatically prevent you from accessing most platforms of adult content but some loopholes remain and so the following steps needed to be taken.
iii)Block the following apps (and their websites) on my 3 devices: Facebook, Telegram, Reddit, Google Play Store, Google Play, Youtube and existing alternative browsers like Aloha Browser. I did so because unfortunately it is possible to access adult content via these apps (for instance, one may download an alternative browser via google play store and access adult content via it altho their device is under parental control supervision). The way i blocked each of these apps is that i blocked them 'as an app' via Qustodio (Ex. Telegram app) and then i blocked their websites (Ex. reddit.com )
Note: If your device has browsers like Samsung Internet, galaxy Store or iphone Internet, block them too via the parental control app. For Youtube Music, if you find that any kind of adult videos can be accessed via it, strongly consider blocking it. i blocked it on my phone & tablet but not my laptop cos Safesearch is somehow enforced on Youtube Music for my laptop so blocking not needed.
iv)Block all websites via which one can download alternative browsers, VPNs, and read pornographic material in written form (i.e. erotica books). For each of these categories, I googled keywords like "List of alternative web browsers/VPNs" and "how to read XYZ erotica book online free". For each of these searches, I copy pasted all the links/websites UNTIL the search result said "No more results to show" (Reaching this stage takes maybe 1-1.5 hours and is important to make the firewall impenetrable) The erotica books i did this for were the 3 books in fifty shades trilogy and 2 books from the Indebted Series. After copying all the links into a Google Keep/Drive folder (somewhere), i individually blocked each of these websites for each of my 3 devices. There were about 400ish websites in total (slightly lower) and doing this for each of my devices took about 4 hours.
2 Notes:
-There are 100s of other pornographic books you can access BUT as long as you block the websites for just the 2 books' series that I did, your internet is safe because ALMOST ALL the websites via which one can read pornography in written form are the same. This means that as long as you follow above instructions, you are in effect blocking all the websites via which you can access pornography in written form, not just the 2 adult book series I mentioned above.
-I also blocked about 5-10 websites for watching movies free online (cos one may access adult content via these means too) but doing this is really not extensive since blocking the "Entertainment" category previously would ensure that free movie/show watching websites get blocked automatically.

vi) Handed over my parental control account in Qustodio to my older sister and asked her to change the email account and password. I do not know the new email account and password for the account and that's the point. The person you hand over control of the account to must either operate the firewall using the parental control app's website or the app itself. For instance, my sister has Qusodio's parental control app on her phone or she can use Qustodio's web portal too. This step is VERY important because as long as you have direct access to the 'Control Panel' which is blocking avenues of watching adult content, you risk unblocking these avenues when you're feeling tempted. I must clarify that Islam allows us to confide in others about our sins IF doing so can help/is expected to help us overcome these sins. Hence, if that is your intention before confiding, don't worry as you won't be sinful for sharing about your sins. You may engage the help of either a family member (Ex. Sibling) or a very close friend ('homie' lol) to perform this step. The embarassment will naturally be there but know that you will be facing this embarassment for the sake of obeying Allah (SWT).

vii) Maintain the block. This involves
-Temporarily unblocking telegram to deal with urgent & important academic communication (My Uni degree's academic chats are conveyed via telegram). When i Unblocked, I tried unblocking under 'control conditions' to prevent relapsing. So on the day i temporarily unblocked, I ensured I wasn't staying at home and/or that I went to the gym (thereby eliminating loneliness and idleness, 2 causes of relapsing)
-Unblocking harmless websites that the parental control's algorithm mistakenly categorizes as unsafe. For example, if you're writing a paper on children's toys and in your research process, you enter a (useful) educational website that the algorithm mistakenly blocked, you can ask your friend/sibling (whom you entrusted with the parental control account) to unblock that website.

viii)Transferring Academic Chats From Telegram to Whatsapp (Additional Step that May/May Not Apply to You)
For context, I'm a university student and the primary academic communication about my degree happens via telegram. As such, I transferred the academic chats for group projects (4-5 members) from telegram to whatsapp and asked a friend to keep me informed on important updates and information conveyed in the main degree chat with all my classmates. ii) Depending on self-control and discipline alone can only make you go so far. Yes, you can control yourself, embrace some replacement habits like gymming/exercising and do everything necessary to prevent you from watching porn and relapsing. And you can succeed for 20 days, 50 days, 100 days or a year. But are self-control and discipline 'alone' enough to keep you away from porn permanently on a long-lasting basis? Might not be. -Update your firewall as you go through life. This means that if you come across an XYZ app giving pornographic access or a pornographic website that you can access, ensure you get that specific website/app blocked.
- One thing that helped me build this system is the realization that i don't 'need' the internet as it is. I don't 'need' to have my internet unfiltered and free for me to do my studies/carry out my professional work. I don't 'need' to have access to an app for my life to function normally. Yes, I may experience minor inconveniences once in a while but they aren't life disrupting. They don't threaten my daily functioning. Most importantly, these restrictions don't handicap me at all (unlike what anyone who doesn't have these restrictions would assume).
My final message: Where there's a will, there's a way. My dear brother, it's time to strive for the sake of Allah (SWT) for this cause, even if a bit inconvenient. Jazakallah Khair

Hey S10 community, I have invented something for the S10 to add an extra layer of privacy that I'd like to share with you. I have searched all over the internet for something that can stop my rear cameras from being used when I don't want them to be used and I just can't seem to find anything like what I have created. So I would like to ask all of you S10 owners: If there was something you could buy for a really low price that gave you the freedom to block or unblock your rear 3 cameras from being used by apps when you're not using the camera (yes apps can bypass your system permissions and use your rear camera to take images or videos whether you're using the device or not), would you be interested in checking this out? I'm not trying to sell anything, but I'm just trying to see if there's any interest for something like this, especially with all the privacy concerns around smartphones and big tech companies, the NSA, hackers etc. do you know what your cameras doing when you are holding your phone or during a phone call?, how about when you're using your phone on the toilet?, the bottom line is you don't and it may happen on a system level so you have no indication that this is happening or who is using your camera or what they're doing with any images or video they collect. My goal here is to make specifically the Samsung galaxy S10 more private for everyone that owns one (Me included). I haven't come up with a name for it yet but it's a removable camera cover that fits into a case and over the lenses BUT has a small hole so your LED can still be used even when your camera's are covered. Please let me know what you think about this idea?

I need some advice as i encounter a lot of problems in premiere pro and I desperately need to upgrade as it slows my work badly.
I got the official subscription, 1x 2TB NVMe Samsung Pro partitioned in two partitions, maybe I need a separate drive for premiere too? As i often also see the SSD at 100% when Premiere Hangs.. i7 13700k (that is not thermal throttling, gets 32k cinebench score with stability) , 32GB RAM 5600GHz, 750W Corsair RM and the bottleneck here, a GTX 1060 3GB.
I watched a lot of videos especially from Tech Notice on what GPU to choose, as each have their benefits and drawbacks on the specific workflow and here is where I have a hard time to figure it out.
I edit docu series from 25 to 1 hour in length, which consists of like a maximum of 30% stock footage Full HD Pro Res, and the rest of 70% consists of lots of PNGs, Animations, Templates, Text.
Everytime I change something in the Effects Control Panel I have to wait seconds for the timeline to unblock, I can't even move text properly without the program to load a bit, and I am not sure if the GPU is the problem, or the RAM, or even both. I also tried working on the iGPU and everything is the same, even without the dedicated card. The RAM is constantly at ~ 28/32GB used tho, which clearly I need more.
The CPU clearly is not the problem as i tried to shut off half of it and it works exactly the same.
From what I have learned from Tech Notice's videos is that Nvidia RTX 20 series are pretty powerful in Adobe and the price is very low now, and I would order a 2080 SUPER as they are usually half the price of a 4060 and perform better in benchmarks and now are pretty impressive in games too with FSR3 mods.

I have been following the reentry guide and want to use this Samsung SD 512GB SD card to replace my older one.
I have gotten a second SD card, redownloaded all the files and unblocked them, and I still get stuck when copying atmosphere/kippatches and package3 to my SD drive.
I am unsure why this is happening and would appreciate some advice as I am following the directions accordingly (as far as I am aware).
I scanned the drive using Windows and it said no problems. It copies a lot of other files with no issues.

I dont know how or why, but I just realized that some apps on my phone have the notifications blocked, and I can't unblock them. I've tried everything and I don't know what it is. Also, its not something from the app, because I remember in my old phone I received notifications of this specific app (wich, by the way, this app specifically its important for me). My current phone is a Samsung Galaxy A54 5G.

Bought a samsung fold 5 from eBay and it's blacklisted.. Is there anyway to unblock or should i return it immediately for a refund?

My old hdd failed finally and I bought a shiny new Samsung ssd 1tb and installed my trusty Slackware 15 to give Windows 7 (dual boot) the finger! 😆
Anyways, I had everything working until my hdd failed. My Belkin 300 usb wifi worked under both Slackware and Windows 7 no problem.
So I downloaded Larry fingers latest version 4 rtl8192du driver.
I compiled a 6.3.10 kernel like I had before.
Did make inside the rtl8192du master directory and installed the rtl8192du ko module file in /lib/modules/6.3.10/.... etc
Put the 2 firmware .bin files in /lib/firmware
I compiled all the necessary things needed for wifi, etc into the 6.3.10 kernel and rebooted etc but networkmanager isn't picking up my wifi ...
I've pretty much exhausted myself trying to figure out what's wrong.
If I boot into Windows 7 it works fine. And like I said, I had it working for 6 months under Slackware 15 on the same machine. The only thing that's changed is my new ssd replacing my old hdd.
