2024.05.16 15:10 Barnegat16 Relationships and our minds

So I’m having issues with my fiancee. We are in counseling which works a little, but not when really deep issues bubble up.
Ex: I own/operate a marketing business on the verge of growth where things are getting very stressful and burning me out. Add in a toddler plus dogs. My super brain is on fire.
We never co-mingled finances. She asked for passwords in a way that I felt threatened. She is a stay at home mom, first time never working, feels super issolated and sub human.
I figured out how to get her a pw for her sub account I made, but it was too late. Shit spooled, I got loud.
Feels like everything is lost. We are both emotionally sensitive too.
Fast forward to the bigger issue: Im not nice enough. Or caring enough.
I personally have problems seeing the value in halmark gestures. Why should flowers = sex kinda thing.
Why isnt a home, actually 2, doing almost anything we want, not being abusive, etc not enough.
Oh, and I help around the house, do a lot with our son. I feel like my efforts are taken for granted and she always wants more.
I guess you shouldnt be a people pleaser but you have to please your partner.
And of course I want sex and she could care less for all of the reasons above and more. So i guess I have to change yet again.
Anyone else fed up?
I wasn’t disgnosed till last year. Im 43 male. Nothing is perfect but we have a good life. Im not hyperactive, mostly executive function, organization stuff

2024.05.16 15:05 Latte_Macchiato_8 Should I just leave? Is there any hope left….?

I am venting and seeking advice at the same time.
Today my husband was asking for space while I literally am being met over and over again with the silent treatment on top of the repetitive physical distance (like him saying he needs space but only he knows for how long. But all he said is he needs space). This is everytime I voice how I feel that leads up to an argument or whenever I can’t accept things, it has gotten to the point where I have been begging him to stay. After every single argument, just to see him leave.
Last night was the first time where he was sitting next to me after months of neglect and having to deal with my voices and anxiety alone. On top of disrespecting myself in begging him to stay and seeing him leave though the door over and over again in my head. Hence I couldn’t accept it yesterday. I know this is unfair but I can’t help but think “Why now? Why didn’t you do this before? How dare you? Honestly maybe I like being alone more now even if my thoughts are dark.. etc etc” It’s hard… I am aware that we are humans and I want to give myself grace but I keep fighting. Fighting for his love. While I’m empty yet giving unconditional love. Only to see him walk out of the door multiple times to trigger my abandonment issues. Don’t get me wrong now, he went through hell fire in his childhood too. Got bullied in school for years because of both parents abandoning him and him growing up with his grandparents from his mom’s side. Me too, just that my parents were physically there but emotionally so absent that I always wondered why I’m even here and secretly wished they weren’t so I could at least say that they were absent like he does… Now I am not saying mine is bigger or his is. It’s never a competition of pain. But when it comes to him it feels like it is always justified and he once just pulls away cause needs space and I ALWAYS check up on him. Because I’m aware of this trauma and try to accommodate. This time however I vowed to let him come to me first cause I am TIRED of doing so over a year now and being the person to keep pushing despite being done myself. And then getting punished instead of being appreciated for it. And feeling like he just (doesn’t or?) simply can’t be there for me like that anymore. I feel like it’s selfish of him but idk if I can even claim that cause I see how depressed he looks and behaves…. It’s just a lot and I am extremely confused after being neglected for so long even if it’s “justified” from his side… For now, I am just taking time out to spend with my loved ones since I have been neglecting them for a long time in the process. And taking their word for staying quiet just to see if he will reach out first since they’re aware of the situation and me being the person who always does this.
Financially I am also thinking where all the money goes considering he keeps getting fines and got into an accident twice this past year. Where he had to file for an insurance claim but couldn’t because of the language barrier. I help him with those things now, from mails to paperwork for his fines, and many more.. But it takes such a mental toll on me that I have no energy left to think about what I want to do, what I want for the future, for my life, for my work, etc etc. He seems to be so absent minded and forgetful nowadays that it feels like I married a different man for months than the one I fell in love with. He was so active, considerate and understanding. Idk who this man is anymore other than feeling like I am talking to a wall and who prefers his alone time smoking away his cigarettes more than being with me. Any concern i voice is seen as nagging, even if done in an compassionate and understanding manner (which I admit is hard for me cause I used to have a short fuse but I have worked so hard for it and can’t help but feel resentment. Even if he says he is over it. His actions prove otherwise) and how I should have more understanding for him instead of telling him that he is slacking off. Because then he either leaves again or starts to blame himself to the point where he says I’m better off without him even when I beg him to work on himself cause I see his potential. He just has these bad voices in his head that he lets them take over and it just hurts me to see him like that but I am also very aware that it has affected me for long enough where I feel obligated to take a step back and to really sit with my feelings so I can think about everything that has been happening. Idk anymore aside from reflecting myself....
If you made it this far, thank you for reading! Any tips will be MUCH appreciated and needed!
PS: He said he will come home after work to make some pictures of tools here at my parents place that he made for work. And that if I’m open for discussion that he is open to talk and if not it’s fine by him….
Extra INFO: I’ve been very patient and have seen slight improvement in previous bad habits and tendencies he has when it comes to his behaviour. I am just not a very patient person from nature and I want to nip things in the bud and resolve conflict fast. I feel tired of being the only one coming forward for conflict resolution just to not feel heard and understood. I feel like my partner doesn’t realise how much I swallow before I explode and he runs off…
I’m aware that this isn’t healthy and it’s taking a toll on both of us. I’m just explaining my side considering we have shared expenses and I take care of our savings. Seeing how easily he says “we have 2k left” while I see it as a safety cushion is concerning me. He never used to be like that. When we started dating he had an habit of budgeting. Scheduling his payments etc etc. He was extremely responsible and financially aware! I have tried to talk him into counselling and if marriage counselling is something he is open for? Considering his trauma from childhood he has complex PTSD and doesn’t ever open up. I understand and I always tried my best to make him feel safe and that it’s okay to cry as a man and what not because i genuinely feel bad for him and it hurts to see him like that. He also stated that he cried in front of me for the first time ever and that he never opens up to anyone and he only was able to do so with him so he doesn’t really see how counseling will help… And when I try to plan counselling, something always comes up like now where it gets delayed again.. So we keep postponing it. Plus I have to plan everything. From date nights. To even my own birthday get away. (And I am sorry to say this but even my exes at least got me a birthday cake or flowers??) I may not look the prettiest like when we started dating since I gained some weight after 3 miscarriages and the hormones but I am trying my best to workout. Just to see him be happy for me but not really doing so himself… He does it once or twice and now we both stopped again. It’s like a continuous limbo we are in. I’m really at a loss for words and feel so disassociating and lost. That I’m not sure if I’m just simply the problem…
Household chores wise I do the cooking and vacuuming. He does the laundry (sometimes me too), dishes and cleans the bathroom/ sinks.
I think it’s pretty fair considering he only cooked a few times. But this is just a side note.

Being dear to oneself (SN 3.4)
Buddha statue in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India
At Sāvatthi.
Once, King Pasenadi of Kosala was sitting to one side, and he said to the Blessed One: "Here, Venerable Sir, when I was alone in seclusion, a reflection arose in my mind: 'Who are dear to themselves, and who are not dear to themselves?'"
Then it occurred to me, Venerable Sir: "Those who engage in misconduct by body, speech, and mind; they are not dear to themselves. Even though they might say, 'We are dear to ourselves,' still, they are not dear to themselves. Why is that? Because whatever a person who is not dear to themselves would do to someone who is not dear to them, they do just that to themselves. Therefore, they are not dear to themselves.
But those who engage in good conduct by body, speech, and mind; they are dear to themselves. Even though they might say, 'We are not dear to ourselves,' still, they are dear to themselves. Why is that? Because whatever a person who is dear to themselves would do to someone who is dear to them, they do just that to themselves. Therefore, they are dear to themselves."
"That is how it is, great king, that is how it is, great king. Those who engage in misconduct by body, speech, and mind; they are not dear to themselves. "If one perceives oneself as dear, One should not associate with evil actions. It is not easy to achieve happiness, For one who does harmful actions.
Overcome by the end-maker (death), Having abandoned the human existence, What does one have as their own? What do they take when they go? What follows them like a shadow That never departs?
Both good and evil, Whatever a mortal does here, That is what is truly theirs, That is what they take when they go, That is what follows them Like a shadow that never departs.
Therefore, one should do good deeds, A collection for the future life. Merits are the support for beings, In the next world."

2024.05.16 14:55 Jonbieniemy87 A Lily in a Valley of Haze (Part 6 of ?)

Alakhai now understood. That impossibly strong psychic force was her sister, empowered by her own emotional instability. Alakhai knew not how to help her sister, or even if she should. Perhaps it would be best to simply put her down, give her a respite from her eternal pain. But as Alakhai approached her sister, she heard a rumbling, as if the ship was coming alive once more, and she could hear the groans of Marines, horrible groaning of the nearly dead.
Morrigan looked up to her sister, eyes wet with tears, wrapped in a soft embrace of vines and flowers that were attempting to calm her down. “Sister, I will not have you hurt my Lily. I suggest you leave. Because if you keep going, I will have no choice.” She took a deep breath, inhaling the sweet smell of her flowers, the sweet smell of her Lily.
Alakhai unsheathed her sword, and her retinue readied their weapons, prepared for a fight to the death, or near death. But they didn't stand a chance, as vines from every direction attacked them in the gaps in their armor, breaking their breathing apparatuses, forcing them to breathe the ship’s toxic air, so strong that only Death Guard marines could hope to survive. The White Fang marines began to cough, keeling over in horrible agony as they tried to hold their breath and stumble back to the clear air of the stormhawk they arrived on. Alakhai rushed to attack her sister, only for a giant tree that had grown along the wall to reach out and grapple her in its twisting branches.
Morrigan approached her sister with a startling speed, her crying face now twisted in a visage of insanity. “I told you sister; you should have left when you still had a chance. I’m afraid my Lily had to do what was necessary to protect me. The only thing I can offer your sons is an eternal slumber before the fertilization process becomes….painful. Now I may let you leave unharmed, but I need to be sure that you won't hurt my Lily again. Goodnight sister.” Morrigan blows a cloud of powder in her sister’s face, knocking her out cold.
Her sons drug her sister back to the stormhawk, and the marine inside decided they didnt want to ask any questions and left immediately. WIth her sister taken care of, Morrigan inspected the White Scars that had been infected. “Oh my, it seems your mother has abandoned you. Don't worry, I’ll make sure to water and prune you once you sprout. Now sleep, my sons.” She blew more powder in the faces of the sprouting White Scars, bringing the coughing marines to a standstill.
Now that the foray was over, Morrigan began to cry once more, her tears streaming down her face. “I’m so sorry Lily, are you hurt? Are any of our children hurt?” The walls of the ship began to enclose upon her, wrapping her tightly in a swathe of leaves and ferns. A flower wipes away her tears as the white scars marines are taken further into the ship to gestate and sleep.
“It is alright love. I am unhurt. Our children are unhurt. Now it is time for you to calm down, you need rest.” Morrigan heard in her head. Her Lily had used telepathic messages since the accident, and it was the only thing that kept her grounded in reality. The blanket of plants began to carry their Lady to her chamber, the mass swimming through halls of the derelict ship.
“I’m fine Lily, I don't have time to sleep, I must care for our children, I must care for you!” Morrigan exclaimed to the emptiness of the ship. She couldn't bear to focus on sending her own telepathic message, but she figured her Lily could hear her anywhere in the ship.
“Love, you need rest. Just for a little while, trust me. Just….relax.” Morrigan heard in her head, as the flower released the same powder that was used to put the White Scars to sleep, though more potent to have any effect on their Lady. As Morrigan’s eyelids grew heavy, the plants lay her in her bed, still wrapped around her so she could sleep soundly, knowing her Lily was still there. As long as the plants stayed wrapped around her, Morrigan could sleep for days, without nightmares. At least usually. Their proximity to the warp would greatly affect the likelihood of nightmares, whether she snuggled tightly or not.
This time was different. Despite their distance from the warp, something about their previous encounter had shaken Morrigan, and the nightmares came like a flood. Lily did their best to cradle their Lady, but there was little else they could do, their Lady had expended a lot of psychic energy during her fight with her sister, and that had undoubtedly caused something to invade her dreams.
Morrigan saw visions of world burning, the emperor stuck to the Golden Throne, the people of the Imperium stuck in a cycle of endless fanatic violence against the enemies of Mankind. This is not what she wanted. She could help them; she could give them lives free from violence. But she also didn't want to threaten her sons, or her Lily by putting them in harm's way. And as this thought passed her mind, she awoke, shaken and in cold sweats, the leaves and vines still wrapped around her like a blanket. She began to cry once more, as her Lily tried their best to soothe their Lady, trying to give them some semblance of comfort as Morrigan struggled with the reality that faced her.
Morrigan decided that she would be able to think while she worked, and kindly asked the plants to let her go, which they did. Once again, Morrigan roamed the halls, prune growths, watering buds and checking the health of her new sons, those gestating, and the White Scars taken from her battle with her sister.
Now calmed by her work, Morrigan put thought to her predicament, mumbling to herself about not putting her sons in danger, whether she could save a world on her own, or take over other ships so Lily could be safe. Resolved to act, but with the safety of her Lily in mind, Morrigan made her way to the bridge, awakening the captain, instructing him to set course for the nearest derelict ship. The captain groaned in the affirmative, steering the ship towards the intended target, the ship's sunlight engines gently taking the hulking mass into close proximity.
Over the next several days, Morrigan seeded new ships with her sons, so that they may grow to become the ships new crew, all connected by her psychic energies. WIth her fleet now in a decent shape, she directed the flight to the nearest conflict zone. She would bring humanity from the brink. She would succeed where her father had failed, where her sisters had failed. She would cultivate a new future for humanity. They would. Together.

Learning the Secret of Contentment
Philippians 4:12 NOG
  • I know how to live in poverty or prosperity. No matter what the situation, I’ve learned the secret of how to live when I’m full or when I’m hungry, when I have too much or when I have too little.
Daily Dose Verse

What I Believe....

This verse is part of a larger passage where the Apostle Paul is expressing his gratitude for the support he received from the Philippian church. He acknowledges that he has experienced times of abundance and times of scarcity, yet he has learned to be content in every circumstance.
The meaning and interpretation of this verse can be summarized as follows:
  1. Contentment in all situations: Paul emphasizes that he has learned to be content regardless of his circumstances. Whether he has plenty or is in need, he has found a sense of peace and satisfaction. This speaks to the idea of finding inner peace and joy that transcends external circumstances.
  2. Spiritual Growth: The verse suggests that contentment is something that can be learned and cultivated over time. Paul didn't naturally possess this contentment; rather, it was something he acquired through his experiences and faith. This indicates a journey of spiritual growth and maturity.
  3. Dependence on God: Paul's ability to be content in all situations is rooted in his faith in God. He acknowledges that his strength comes from God, enabling him to endure and find contentment amidst life's challenges. This reflects a reliance on God's provision and sovereignty.
Overall, Philippians 4:12 encourages believers to cultivate a spirit of contentment, recognizing that true fulfillment comes from a relationship with God rather than from external circumstances. It's a reminder to find joy and peace in every situation through faith and trust in God.

Verse Thoughts

Reflection Thought
Gratitude and Humility Paul's words reflect a spirit of gratitude and humility. Despite his accomplishments and experiences, he attributes his contentment to his relationship with God rather than his own achievements. This serves as a reminder of the importance of gratitude, humility, and acknowledging the sources of support and strength in our lives.
The Power of Perspective This verse underscores the importance of perspective in shaping our experiences. Paul's ability to find contentment in both abundance and scarcity suggests that our mindset plays a significant role in how we perceive and respond to circumstances. It challenges us to reframe our perspectives, focusing not on what we lack but on what we have.
Resilience and Adaptability Paul's acknowledgment of experiencing both plenty and need highlights the resilience and adaptability of the human spirit. It speaks to our capacity to endure hardship and adapt to changing circumstances. This resilience is not solely based on external factors but also on internal attitudes and beliefs.
Learning and Growth The verse emphasizes that contentment is something that can be learned and cultivated. It suggests that through life's experiences, challenges, and reflections, we can develop the capacity to find peace and satisfaction regardless of our circumstances. This speaks to the potential for personal growth and transformation through adversity.
Spiritual Contentment At its core, Philippians 4:12 speaks to a deeper spiritual contentment that transcends material wealth or comfort. It suggests that true fulfillment comes from a sense of inner peace, rooted in faith, gratitude, and connection with something greater than ourselves. This spiritual contentment offers a stable foundation amidst life's uncertainties
Philippians 4:12 invites reflection on the nature of contentment, resilience, and spiritual growth, offering timeless wisdom that resonates across cultures and belief systems. It encourages us to cultivate a mindset of gratitude, resilience, and faith, enabling us to navigate life's challenges with grace and inner peace.

Devotional

Exploration:
  1. Understanding Contentment: Discuss what contentment means and why it's valuable in our lives. Explore how our culture often equates contentment with external success or possessions, but true contentment comes from within.
  2. The Secret of Contentment: Reflect on Paul's assertion that he has learned the secret of being content. What might this secret be? Encourage participants to share their insights and experiences.
  3. Cultivating Contentment: Share practical tips and strategies for cultivating contentment in various life circumstances. This could include practicing gratitude, focusing on what truly matters, and trusting in God's provision.
  4. Learning from Adversity: Discuss how adversity can be a teacher, helping us develop resilience and deepen our faith. Share personal stories or examples of times when adversity led to greater contentment or spiritual growth.
Reflection Questions:
1) When have you experienced contentment in the midst of adversity?
  • There was a period in my life when I faced a significant challenge related to my career path. I had invested a lot of time and effort into pursuing a particular direction, only to encounter unexpected obstacles and setbacks. The uncertainty of not knowing what the future held was daunting, and I felt overwhelmed by doubt and anxiety. However, amidst the turbulence of that time, there were moments when I experienced a profound sense of peace and contentment. These moments often came when I turned to my faith and sought solace in prayer and reflection. I found comfort in the assurance that God had a plan for my life, even if it didn't align with my own expectations. Moreover, the support of loved ones played a crucial role in sustaining me during this challenging period. Their encouragement, empathy, and prayers served as a source of strength and reassurance. Sharing my burdens with trusted friends and family members helped me realize that I was not alone in my struggles and that there was hope for the future. Looking back, these experiences of contentment amidst adversity have shaped my perspective and resilience in profound ways. They've taught me the importance of surrendering control and trusting in God's timing and providence. They've also shown me the value of community and connection in times of need, reminding me that we are stronger together than we are alone. Ultimately, these experiences have deepened my faith and instilled in me a sense of gratitude for the blessings in my life, even amidst trials and tribulations. They've taught me that true contentment is not found in the absence of challenges but in the presence of faith, hope, and love. As I continue on my journey, I carry with me the lessons learned from those moments of contentment amidst adversity, knowing that God's grace is sufficient for every trial and that His peace surpasses all understanding.
2) What are some obstacles that prevent you from feeling content in your life?
  • Reflecting on the factors that often undermine my sense of contentment, I recognize several recurring themes. One significant factor is societal pressure to achieve certain goals or meet specific expectations. Whether it's related to career success, financial stability, or personal relationships, there's often an implicit or explicit pressure to measure up to external standards of success and fulfillment. This pressure can create a constant sense of striving and inadequacy, leading to feelings of discontentment. Comparison with others is another obstacle that frequently undermines my sense of contentment. In today's hyper-connected world, it's all too easy to compare my life, accomplishments, and circumstances to those of others, particularly through social media. This comparison often leads to feelings of envy, inadequacy, and a distorted perception of reality, further eroding my sense of contentment. Additionally, unresolved personal issues and past traumas can have a significant impact on my ability to experience contentment. Lingering feelings of shame, guilt, or unresolved conflicts can create inner turmoil and prevent me from fully embracing the present moment with gratitude and peace. To overcome these obstacles and cultivate a greater sense of contentment, I recognize the need to address underlying patterns of thinking and behavior. This includes:
  1. Cultivating Gratitude: Practicing gratitude daily can help shift my focus from what I lack to what I already have. Taking time to acknowledge and appreciate the blessings in my life, no matter how small, can foster a deeper sense of contentment and fulfillment.
  2. Setting Realistic Expectations: Rather than striving for perfection or comparing myself to unrealistic standards, I can set realistic and achievable goals that align with my values and priorities. Accepting that progress is incremental and embracing the journey, rather than fixating on the destination, can lead to a more sustainable sense of contentment.
  3. Mindfulness and Presence: Cultivating mindfulness and being fully present in the moment can help counteract the tendency to dwell on past regrets or worry about the future. By practicing mindfulness techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, or simply paying attention to my surroundings, I can cultivate a greater sense of peace and contentment in the present moment.
  4. Seeking Support: Recognizing that I don't have to navigate life's challenges alone, I can seek support from trusted friends, family members, or mental health professionals. Opening up about my struggles and vulnerabilities can foster connection and provide valuable perspective and encouragement.
  • By taking proactive steps to address these obstacles and cultivate a greater sense of contentment, I can move closer to experiencing the inner peace and fulfillment that comes from embracing life with gratitude, authenticity, and acceptance.
3) How can you apply Paul's secret of contentment to your own life?
  • Adopting the mindset of contentment in all circumstances, as described by Paul in Philippians 4:12, requires intentional effort and a shift in perspective. Here's how I can apply this mindset in my own life:
1) Acknowledging Internal Contentment: I will start by recognizing that true contentment comes from within and is not dependent on external circumstances. Instead of seeking fulfillment in achievements, possessions, or social status, I will cultivate an inner sense of peace and satisfaction rooted in gratitude, mindfulness, and faith.
2) Cultivating Gratitude: I will make a conscious effort to cultivate gratitude for the blessings in my life, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. Each day, I will take time to reflect on the things I am thankful for, whether it's the beauty of nature, the love of family and friends, or the simple pleasures of everyday life.
3) Practicing Mindfulness: I will practice mindfulness by focusing on the present moment and embracing each experience with openness and acceptance. Instead of dwelling on past regrets or worrying about the future, I will strive to be fully present in the here and now, savoring life's moments with awareness and appreciation.
4) Leaning on Faith: I will lean on my faith and trust in God's provision, knowing that He is always with me, regardless of the challenges I face. In times of uncertainty or adversity, I will turn to prayer, seeking strength, guidance, and comfort from a higher power who cares for me deeply.
Prayer:
Dear God,
We come before you with hearts full of gratitude for your provision and faithfulness in our lives. You are our provider, our sustainer, and our ever-present help in times of need. We thank you for the abundance of blessings you have bestowed upon us, both big and small, seen and unseen.
In moments of challenge and adversity, Lord, we acknowledge that it is often difficult to find contentment. We confess that we sometimes allow our circumstances to dictate our sense of peace and joy, forgetting that true contentment comes from you alone.
Today, we seek your guidance and wisdom as we strive to cultivate contentment in all circumstances. Teach us, like the Apostle Paul, to find the secret of contentment, not in external possessions or achievements, but in the depth of our relationship with you.
Help us to trust in your provision, knowing that you are always with us, guiding us through every trial and triumph. Grant us the strength to surrender our worries and anxieties to you, finding peace in the midst of life's storms.
May our hearts overflow with gratitude for your unfailing love and grace. Lead us on the path of contentment, Lord, that we may experience the fullness of joy that comes from walking in your presence.
We lift up our prayers and reflections to you, knowing that you hear us and that you are faithful to answer according to your perfect will. May our lives be a testimony to your goodness and mercy.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
I encourage you to take a moment to share your own prayers or reflections, trusting that God hears the cries of our hearts and responds with love and compassion.
Closing:
Today, we've explored the profound truth that contentment is not dependent on our external circumstances but is a state of being that comes from within. Like the Apostle Paul, we've been challenged to discover the secret of contentment, learning to trust in God's provision and finding joy in every circumstance.
As we go forth from this time of reflection, I encourage each of us to carry these insights into our daily lives. Let's commit to cultivating contentment by practicing gratitude, embracing the present moment, and trusting in God's faithfulness. In the face of challenges and uncertainties, may we remember that true contentment is found in our relationship with God, who is our source of strength and peace.
Let's encourage one another to seek contentment in every circumstance, knowing that as we align our hearts with God's will, we will experience the fullness of joy that comes from walking in His presence.
May the lessons we've learned today guide us on our journey toward greater contentment and fulfillment in Christ.
Amen.
Optional Activities:
  • Journaling prompts related to contentment and gratitude.
  • Group discussion questions to foster deeper reflection and sharing.
  • Meditation or mindfulness exercises focused on finding peace and contentment in the present moment.
Remember to adapt the devotional to the needs and preferences of your audience, and invite participants to engage actively in the discussion and reflection process.

2024.05.16 14:36 ContributionOk8403 Small grassroots org needs a new board

Greetings, Do-Gooder think tank, please help me before I die from overwhelm! I am the Founder of a little organization with big dreams to deeply support the post-partum experience. We've been around for a several years, at different levels of activity. Post-covid crazy times, I am all in with helping foster social connections for families. I have attracted people to support the mission who seem to want a whole lot of hand-holding and being nurtured, themselves, with a bit less energy than I'd like for enthusiastically growing the org to serve others. We have newly instated a goal, but it has been a real challenge to inspire the "give/get" expectations ($1500 annually) of the board. So, I am in a growth cycle to rebuild the board from scratch. I am trying to see this as an opportunity to reset the culture if that is possible. I want people to fulfill their 2-year commitments (4 out of 5 haven't and the 5th is gearing up for an early departure, too), show up when they say (a major player dropped out the day of the strategic plan, another didn't make it to a volunteer celebration as the #1) , and can put more into the organization than they take away withe personal drama. I realize that people need love and nurturing and it may sound like I don't have tolerance for basic human limitations, and may be part of the problem, but I think that I am good at being kind and supportive It feels like I need to attract more established "board-types" than the usual of other moms who simply see the need for more nurturing. They natually seem to need a lot of training about expectations for a board of directors, and it almost feels like there is resentment that they aren't getting a cut of the fundraising. I know that it will take a good bit of time to pay me a decent salary, and to be able to get solid structure behind me, but this stage has also been met with some resistance to paying me at all, which is so disheartening (I suggested $25/hr could be aspirational, short term, but with that measure, with what I have been throwing my way on occasion (yes this is WAY too loose of a system.. our latest Treasurer stole a company laptop on her way out), I am still volunteering at least 2/3s of my time, and although volunteering is part of the culture, sustainability in pay seems key to solve for to grow into the Big Dream). I am curious to know of others' experience with attracting and retaining a good board for better momentum, and also navigating the early stages of getting paid as a Founding Director. I am the defacto volunteer coordinator, director, chair, and program coordinator. I would definitely like to share some of these hats with others. Another question is if you have experience with others wearing multiple hats as stipended 1099 workers and also sitting on the board. Thanks for any input on working with humans and getting more efficient in the process.

Embracing Harmony: Sajjan Jindal's Synchrony of Business and Life
Few things capture the sense of renewal at dawn quite like the melody of "Jag Uthi Usha." This timeless epic, echoing the rise of a new day, finds its parallel in the life philosophy of Sajjan Jindal, JSW Group’s visionary Managing Director. As the lyrical verses proclaim "Jag Uthi Usha, ek nai Usha," heralding the advent of a fresh beginning, they mirror Jindal's unwavering commitment to innovation and progress.
https://preview.redd.it/6lxghs3y6s0d1.png?width=889&format=png&auto=webp&s=3dc6dc579fdedd1d00ba13da7da601c07bf52e48
Just as the sacred chants of the Maha Mrityunjay Jap invoke protection and rejuvenation, Jindal's endeavours are guided by a profound reverence for tradition and a vision for the future. Like the river Ganga, which finds solace in the embrace of ancient rituals, Jindal draws strength from his heritage, anchoring his journey in timeless values of integrity and resilience.
The flow of the Ganga's currents, resonating with the melody of life's rhythms, find their reflection in Jindal's approach to business and life.
Like Ganga's meandering course, navigating through diverse landscapes with grace and adaptability, Jindal's ventures embrace change with resilience and foresight. Just as Ganga's waters merge seamlessly with tributaries, forging connections that enrich its path, Jindal's collaborations and alliances fuel innovation and growth, fostering a legacy of empowerment and collaboration.
At the heart of both the Ganga's journey and Jindal's philosophy lies a deep reverence for the sacredness of life and the interconnectedness of all beings.
Just as the Ganga sustains life along its banks, nurturing ecosystems and communities, Jindal's initiatives with JSW Group fuel industries and livelihoods, fostering growth and prosperity. Both embody a spirit of abundance and compassion, recognizing the inherent value of every individual and the collective responsibility to nurture and uplift one another.
In the harmonious convergence of tradition and innovation, reverence and progress, the essence of "Jag Uthi Usha" finds resonance in Jindal's unwavering commitment to integrity and excellence.
Like the river Ganga, which surrenders to the flow of nature with grace and purpose, Jindal's journey is guided by an innate trust in the universe's wisdom. Both embrace the ethos of 'letting go' and trusting in the greater cosmic design, finding solace in the belief that every twist and turn serves a higher purpose.
The enduring poetry of "Jag Uthi Usha" and Sajjan Jindal's philosophy towards business and life underscore the deep connection between human effort and nature.
Inspired by the blend of tradition's melody and innovation's beat, Jindal's steadfast dedication to harmonizing with life's flow offers us a path of renewal and potential. Like the flowing Ganga, may we all find direction in Jindal's pursuit of a brighter and more unified tomorrow.

2024.05.16 14:14 shloogojad Should I just let my birds fu-?

Before I start I want to say that I'm aware my birds aren't humans and don't judge or punish them for having ungodly (haha) urges. But I still can't get rid of my human biases so I think what they're doing is icky and giving them a pass would basically make me Becky's pimp and that's pretty gross. She's basically my daughter and a bird not an object, she can feel exhausted.
So, I have a flock of four cockatiels: Ariel the dad, Becky the mum and their sons Fred and Leo.
Fred and Leo are Ariel's competition which makes him depressed and aggressive. He plucks the rest of my flock and haven't been himself in months.
I'm trying to help him by arranging dates for him and Becky, taking the kids away when they cross boundaries, and having him sleep with the rest of the flock.
He's doing way better now but relapses when I stop being so strict. Unfortunately I can't expand my flock yet.
Fred and Leo are interested in Becky, respond to her calls and push Ariel away. Whenever I catch them in the act I take them away and try to encourage Ariel to shoot his shot but my interventions ruin the mood.
Leo is the only one that gets to smash. As far as I know he never finished. Now, I can't tell if these are their personality traits or sexual frustrations but Leo is way calmer than Fred and Ariel.
Ariel has always been an ass. Meanwhile Fred went from nibbling to biting whenever I approach him and he's not in the mood. Leo never bit me and exists in his happy go lucky world. He's kinda dumb, even the vet is his friend.
I manage their hormones so they don't want to nest but they still want to F. Neither of my birds is masturbating or exploring their gay side, sometimes I wish they would.
I don't want Becky to mate with her son's because a) I want her relationship with Ariel to improve. b) I'm worried it would result in incest babies.
But I'm wondering if allowing every boy to have his turn (as long as she'll agree to that I won't hold her down) would help them calm down. In case of nesting I can always boil the eggs though if they'll insist on raising a clutch and fight over it I'll have a bigger problem.
I also want to get two more girls sometime in the future and I'm worried that the boys would bond with their mum and refuse to love an another girl. Alternatively Ariel could bond with a new girl which means Becky would end up in an incest relationship. I don't want to breed them but accidents happen and I want them to be healthy.

2024.05.16 13:50 NoseUseful8893 One Clay Boy.

One Clay Boy.
Name: Shinji Minato Age: 16 Gender: Male Race: Human Student Information: A Second year at Tokyo's Jujutsu High. He enrolled into Jujutsu high via helping a Sorcerer exorcise a pack of curses and since then he's been going on about his life in Jujutsu High and their dormitory as Shinji did not have a home or place to go to. When asked about the life he lead, Shinji replied with having been mostly on the streets, no knowledge over his parents at all, he stated that it's a miracle that he is alive uptill now to have made it into becoming a Sorcerer. As for his relationship with his peers and his superiors, he is a relaxed individual with a carefree attitude, somewhat comical, adding a bit of levity to situations that are otherwise serious, normally speaking in a Kansai dialect. He's also shown to be one to listen very closely, perceptive over people or the situation at hand. He's also one of the few Jujutsu High students who rather than specialising in combat a heavy lot, uses barrier techniques to his advantage, aided by his Cursed Technique of Clay Manipulation. His growth as a Sorcerer is a peculiar one.
Grade: Semi-Grade 2
Cursed Technique: Clay Manipulation Shinji's technique manipulates clay via cursed energy in such a form like creating 'Haniwa', terracotta clay figures that were made for ritual use and buried with the dead as funerary objects, these figures can be as small as a sponge to 5'8 human sized. They work like cursed corpses/shikigami at his control. Shinji can see through them, speak through them, use his technique through them making the range of it even wider within a 30 meter radius and the cursed energy ammount used for their making is used when the haniwa use Shinji's technique. They can come in different forms other than humanoid, sometimes with their own weapons were Shinji to have enough Clay at his disposal. Other than Humanoid or Animal like, Shinji can also create them in forms of tools like a weapon or armour. In short, they act like summons so to speak, the only limit to them being the ammount of clay at hia disposal, his own skill at his technique though most importantly his creativity. Despite also being made out of clay, they are pretty durable as a result of passive CE Strengthening from the technique, amplified by Shinji's Cursed Energy Control.
Cursed Tool: Gourd - A 3rd Grade Tool taking the shape of a hyotan gourd strapped on Shinji's hip via blue cloth working like a belt to add more style to his Jujutsu student uniform. It has store clay inside for Shinji to use whilst mobile. It is made of Clay and as a result, Shinji can shape it however he sees fit.

2024.05.16 13:42 LordLytton Everything is priced in.

Don't even ask the question. The answer is yes, it's priced in. Think ITC will beat the next earnings? That's already been priced in. You work at the cloud kitchen for Domino's and found out that the toppings are made of human meat? Priced in. You think insiders don't already know that? The market is an all powerful, all encompassing being that knows the very inner workings of your subconscious before you were even born. Your very existence was priced in decades ago when the market was valuing Oil India's expected future earnings based on population growth that would lead to your birth, what age you would get a car, how many times you would drive your car every week, how many times you take the bus/train, etc. Anything you can think of has already been priced in, even the things you aren't thinking of. You have no original thoughts. Your consciousness is just an illusion, a product of the omniscent market. Free will is a myth. The market sees all, knows all and will be there from the beginning of time until the end of the universe (the market has already priced in the heat death of the universe). So please, before you make a post asking whether NIFTY50 has priced in Election Results or Jane Street Manipulation or whatever, know that it has already been priced in and don't ask such a dumb fucking question again.

2024.05.16 13:41 Pure-Huckleberry-935 (spoiler alert) Why aren't all the dragons more protective of the long sleep? (Iron Flame)

I am doing my first re-read of Iron Flame (the second book), and currently at the part where Violet is punished for Andarna not showing up for flight lessons. Where she is forced to keep using her signet/lightning, towards burn-out. It is mentioned that her distress could (and eventually does) wake Andarna up during the long slumberness sleep.
I understand that the dragons are superior over humans, but that the humans are allowed to punish each other. But I am wondering why the dragons/Empyrian allow Andarna's sleep to be threatened in this way, all bonded dragons 1) have this sleep when growing up, so know it is important, 2) know the connection (even though they haven't had it during this sleep, but it is not a big stretch to understand that it can) is strong and could disturb it.
So I understand that Solas is an unhinged dragon but the dragons altogether seem very protective of children and are generally informed about what is going on. So why aren't they putting a stop to Andarna('s growth/wellbeing) being threatened? I am not even talking about the part where Andarna turns out to be super special. Even without that part of the story it doesn't seem to make sense to me.
Wondering what other people think of this? Why are the dragons as a whole tolerating the threat to one of their younglings?

2024.05.16 13:41 Rykoma Up until book 3, Ba'alzamon is a rather pathetic bad guy.

Hi! New fan here.
Having just finished the third audiobook, I've been trying to gather my thoughts about the books so far. The following is a bit of a ramble, but if there's someone who can help me untangle some of the mess that'd be much appreciated.
I enjoy the encounters with the lesser evils our heroes meet. The Seanchan, village idiots, whitecloaks, unexpected dark friends... These are humans, often just manipulated and scared, whose intentions are quite clear and have a motivation for behaving the way they do. But it's the ultimate evil, that makes no sense to me. Break the wheel, make time linear?
One thing bothering me is the lack of depth and development in Ba'alzamons behaviour. Many random/dream encounter he has with Rand so far have been "You are mine, your resistance is futile". It's absolutely not convincing when he says something along the lines of "I could have taken you three times already, but I'm going to do it for real this time", or "Dead or alive, doesn't matter for me". I've stopped counting the amount of times I've heard Michael Kramer say "You are mine". Which, to his credit, he does with a lot of gusto.
Seems to me, he's pretty desperate and incapable actually. At this point in the book, the party is convinced there are some seals on his cage still intact, and it's obvious his powers will only increase when all seals are broken. Though I do feel it's suggested that all he seals have actually been broken already.
He feels unconvincing as ultimate evil for not succeeding at something he keeps on pretending is inevitable or even easy to accomplish. Am I missing something that is clearly stated? Will this (spoiler-free please) develop to a more interesting dimension of the "ultimate evil"?
The forsaken ones are more interesting. A couple working on political influence in Tear and Illian, Lanfear manipulating everyone... Though they do die easily for ancient all knowing beings from the age of legends. Especially at the eye of the world... Three have been killed in the same scene they were introduced.
Just rambling! I love the series so far, hope this doesn't read like I don't. I'm not a die-hard fantasy reader, though I did read some Sanderson before. Maybe I'm spoiled already by his "but I want to become a literal god, and kill a few in the process" plots.
If you have some thoughts you'd be willing to share that can help me order my thoughts, that'd be much appreciated!

Breast cells undergo testing to detect an excess of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), which is crucial for controlling cell growth and division. An abundance of HER2 receptors can accelerate cell multiplication, potentially leading to uncontrolled growth and tumor formation.HER2-positive breast cancer is characterized by rapid growth, increased metastasis, and recurrence tendencies. Despite its aggressiveness, HER2-positive cancer shows heightened responsiveness to treatments targeting HER2 proteins. Although typically asymptomatic, studies suggest a higher prevalence among younger women. Diagnosis relies on immunohistochemistry (IHC) tests, grading HER2 levels on a scale from 0 to 1+ (negative), 2+ (borderline), or 3+ (positive). Common symptoms align with general breast cancer indicators and include changes in breast shape, masses or abnormalities on mammograms, breast lumps, nipple pain, and nipple discharge. Treatment strategies encompass surgery (lumpectomy or mastectomy), breast reconstruction, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy focusing on HER2 receptors, and hormone therapy.

2024.05.16 13:40 Incman [long read, ~10 mins] I delivered "goodbye for now" letter to nMom that I still rent a room from, and I'm feeling vulnerable but also hopeful for my own future.

[I just recently learned of this community after I had shared this in the raisedbynarcissists sub, and I couldn't figure out how to crosspost it so I'm just copy&pasting]
As the title states, (and despite the existential risk to myself - as I am disabled, impoverished, and my survival is reliant on the room I rent in her attic - given her recent threat to have have me thrown out by the police because she could not handle the feelings she had during the argument that she initiated), I have finally drawn a bright red line in the metaphorical sand regarding my nMom's treatment of me. This is the culmination of 8+ years of sustained, one-sided, unreciprocated, and unsuccessful effort on my part to sustain, salvage, repair, or improve our "relationship".

Reading through some of the posts on this sub over the past day or so has been very validating, as one thing she's always been extremely committed to is making sure she's the loudest voice in my life telling me how invalid all of my emotions and experiences and realities are.

I am very grateful for anyone who takes the time to read this post, and any input, commentary, criticism, insight, commiseration, etc, is welcome and appreciated (especially on the topic of being NC-except-as-a-tenant). Her lifelong response to my needs or inconvenient requests for respect or attempts to hold her accountable for her behaviour (throughout literally hundreds and hundreds of interactions that she has walked away from or hung-up on) has essentially been "tl;dr 🖕". So I'm acutely aware of the length of what I'm written, and I'm very used to her cold (or even mocking) avoidance and dismissal of valid issues by commenting on the length or format of my communications without ever engaging on the merits.

Anyways, enough preamble, here's the full letter (all of the square-bracketed disclaimers and AI-summary are part of the letter as delivered to her, to try and counter the acute and selective illiteracy she develops whenever she begins to read something she doesn't like):

[Start of Letter]

[This document begins with a 382 word AI-generated summary (titled "AI- GENERATED SUMMARY:" below the square-bracketed opening remarks), estimated at 1m23s time required to read. If you are unable or unwilling to make it through even this brief summary, then there is literally nothing else I could possibly do to assist in your comprehension of my positions. The full message following the summary is approximately 2100 words, estimated at approximately 8 minutes to read.]

[If you would like assistance in understanding things I've written that you're struggling to interpret or comprehend, you can go to chatgpt.com (no account necessary), or download the ChatGPT app from the Google Play Store on your phone. You can simply interact with the chat in natural language (in other words, type as though you were texting another person) and it will understand what you are saying. If you are struggling to understand how to interact with it effectively, you can simply inform it of that (in any wording you choose) and it will assist you with altering your approach to receive more effective results.]

AI-GENERATED SUMMARY:

Your son's message is a powerful declaration of his boundaries, grievances, and intentions within your relationship. Here's a breakdown to help you understand:

Preface: He advises you to read with an open mind and, if needed, with assistance due to the emotional complexity.

Declaration of Disengagement: He firmly states his decision to disengage from any form of interaction or acknowledgment outside of essential landlord-tenant matters.

Condemnation of Abuse: He accuses you of perpetuating a cycle of abuse that has deeply impacted his health and stability.

Rejection of Coercion: He dismisses the idea that being evicted is a viable solution to the abuse, highlighting the coercive nature of such a choice, and how it leaves him vulnerable to further harm.

Criticism of Your Behavior: He unreservedly condemns your actions, particularly your exploitation and manipulation, emphasizing the gravity and effects of your conduct.

Commitment to Compliance: He unequivocally affirms his commitment to compliance with all landlord-related demands, demonstrating his unwavering respect for your authority as the homeowner.

Demand for Clarity: He demands clear and unambiguous knowledge of the requisite terms when any changes to living arrangement paradigms are demanded, underscoring his willingness to comply with any directives you may issue.

[Presumably, after reading a few sentences or less, your defense mechanisms will be activated and you will eject. However, as with the vast majority of the things I have said to you that have gone unacknowledged, I am completely certain that the contents are cogent and comprehensible, and I believe that with competent support and vulnerable effort you undoubtedly have the raw cognitive capacity necessary for comprehension if you are able to stabilize your emotional reactions and put real effort into the actions necessary for you to understand my words.]

I will not talk to you.
I will not look at you.
I will not approach you.
I will not acknowledge you.

If you attempt to interact with me on any interpersonal level not related to your role as a landlord, I will reserve the right to express just how fucking despicable it is to treat such a vulnerable person with such utter disregard and abuse for so fucking long.

The cycle of abuse you have maintained to destabilize me for your own pathological reasons has caused - and continues to cause - extensive damage to my health, stability, and existence. However, since I know your response to this would likely be some variation of "you're not a victim here [my name], so if I treat you so bad, just leave", I'll preemptively and unequivocally condemn such coercive and abusive tactics, and state again (as I did the other day), that the forced choice between your abuse and life-threatening-homelessness is obviously no choice at all, and leaves me perpetually subject to your coercion and abusive control.

Such exploitation by you is absolutely disgusting, and honestly I understand why you run away from yourself at every single instance where you're in danger of having your lifelong house-of-cards ego even slightly threatened. I know if I treated another human being the way you treat me for even a moment, let alone for the literal years you have done so, I would not be able to face myself in the mirror either. You should be fucking ashamed of yourself.

You say I "don't want to be your son anymore", as though it has been someone other than me making hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours of efforts and attempts in order to try and single-handedly keep our relationship alive, and as though it has been someone other than you who has stonewalled me for years about every single legitimate and valid time I attempted to gain even the slightest foothold as a full human being in the owner-pet relationship you have fought so hard to maintain. You siphon, in fact demand, emotional supply whenever you so choose, and then fucking discard me as soon as it appears that I might do anything that would result in you losing even a fraction of a percent of the 99% to 1% imbalance you believe is an immutable part of our "relationship".

I will do my absolute best to be in my room as much as physically possible when you are home, so as to minimize the need to be physically adjacent to you in the course of our respective activities of daily living.

I, again, remain unequivocally committed to my position of deference and compliance towards any rules/demands related to my existence, presence, or activities as your tenant.

As you refuse to provide any sort of unambiguous guidance or clarification whatsoever regarding your shifting demands affecting my ability to access/perform basic activities of daily living, I will continue to act in good faith with respect to my adherence to all previously-established arrangements and protocols (whether codified or de facto) regarding such activities. To the full extent of my abilities, and to the extent that it is physically possible, I will immediately and unequivocally comply with any alterations, additions, or excisions you choose to impose regarding the nature of our physical coexistence as landlord and tenant, regardless of your disregard or intent for any harm to my stability that will ensue as a result.

If you intend to attempt to manipulate or threaten or gaslight me to illegitimately and dishonestly accuse me of failing to comply with your rights and demands as the homeownelandlord, then I can assure you that such efforts will be ineffective and inadvisable. The extensive history of my genuine, documented, and unwavering commitment to absolute respect of your home, property, and landlord-tenant authority is unassailable, and nothing has or will change about the good faith nature of my efforts to simply live peacefully and work on stabilizing my health and continuing to attempt to develop basic protocols that offer me the opportunity to seek the ways and means required to sustainably exist, survive, and seek meaning and fulfilment as a human being.

To try and make it a bit more bite-sized (without warranty as to the efficacy of said efforts), since I know when your ego is threatened you conveniently - and dishonestly - become completely unable to read a couple thousand words:

I love you, and goodbye for now. I hope to see you on the other side, but I cannot force you to undertake the journey.

2024.05.16 13:39 JobHunter2 What is Christian Religious Education?

Introduction

Christian religious education is defined as the process where by Christian learning takes place. It often involves “teaching which enables practicing Christians to adopt and deepen their Christian belief, values and dispositions to experience and act in a Christian way. It depends to a greater extent on how this process is adopted and practiced in different churches.

Different practices in Christian education in local churches

At some degree of certainty that all Christian churches have a similar aim’s and practices. The liturgical aspect is of paramount importance in the Trinitarian belief and practices in that it serves as introduction to what Christianity is all about. This is where the process of Cognitive learning takes places it involves the worship service where hymns are sang, lessons extracted from the books of the bible are read, sermon often punctuated with exhortation, admonishment and instruction in righteous living is delivered and prayers are said. It also involves the celebration of the holy Eucharist which Jesus Christ himself, recognized as the head of the church, initiated based on experience acquired in the worship service, it can be seen as Christian religious education is a confessional churchly activity of evangelism, instruction and nurture.

I assure that “Youth are the most critical of all critics when it comes to religion”. Today, common inhabitants do pray and accept the holiness in church for Christ which they are aware that Christ constitutes the sacred bread and wine, but do not entirely act upon worshipping and fail to confront the thoughts and feelings to masses which would spread dignity of godliness among selves. The moral lies in the fact that this creates lackness to reach spiritual beliefs through worship and liturgy resulting in declination the faith which affects the divine nature approaching positivity.
Christian education is a vital important part in youth development. For Christian education to be explored, generation of today should be brought into contact through various practices. In the early centuries, reformers emphasized and trusted true faith and doctrines, to change and reform behaviour as the only solution for salvation in Christian education. Christian school movements prove a challenge as a messenger to convey god’s given mission and honour god.

Traditional approach

This approach was practiced since many decades and is still continued to be practiced which helps in binding and governing the ethics and morality within the religion and belief. Since beginning described, in leaving our homeland to teach the gospels throughout the world through scriptures, god conveyed his message – by sending his son Jesus for us, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Church, and Baptism for building unity.
Christianity consists of three things – Religious faith, way of life and community of mankind towards salvation are most important. The most vital of all belief preached is that there is only one god. The term Christian does not imply on the fact that a Christian should grow up in a Christian community, but precisely accepts Christian faith and belief, follows and leads the path of life on which Jesus walked on and made mankind accept Christian community through involvement and participation physically and mentally, as a result, traditional approach is how the local churches and preachers go about conducting their services. The apostle’s creed was apparently developed to summarize the Christian doctrine for man who baptised himself.

Theological and Biblical approach

This approach is regarded as an abstract discipline which teaches what bible is written. It is the study of god expressing god’s thought. The movement of bible indicates the doctrines to the kerygma to didache, to theological ethics, to revealed truth, to the way of living in Christian community.
God’s salvation to the world, worshipping the holy spirit, baptizing people in the name of god, preaching gospels as the word of god, share Christ’s own body and blood as bread and wine in holy communion, repenting and confessing god’s forgiveness etc are the concepts of theological and biblical foundation to Christian education. Even though mankind is aware but fail to involve due to the increasing evil and greed.
The service is organized to accept the call of god and to love him and others and which aims to gather people to worship him in return allowing him to take control over the world and through his presence spread peace, righteousness, justice, joy and helps in the growth of the life in an individual through increased faith.

Activities organized and performed in different local churches through to these practices

Some churches develop the initiative of the worshippers by confessing their faith in the words of the apostle creed. Each activity is correlated and composes a range of varied elements. Their current activities reflect the lives of an individual and drive them for a purpose through various numbers of activities to attain a better quality of life.
Due to activities, all age group gain variety of skills through many spiritual centred activities. Church acts as an interpreter between god and the worshippers to support in training the composition of these activities which are far more complex to solve a disturbed youth. They have to thereby standardize their curriculum and activities in regards to implement it. Different denominations organize activities to resolve the aim therefore to meet the need of the youth. Curriculum should be more focused than just on providing knowledge.
Activities are necessarily planned to build youth commitment. I believe it is necessary to reach them, i.e. train them to be strong future leaders. They should be kept one step ahead, for their life is very challenging. I believe that the best way to outreach youths mind is to be a youth like them to understand their psychology as it differs from every individual. The same activities do get affected as the youth is choosy and subtle.

Changing activities for tomorrow

Here the question is voiced that, what substantial change can be brought apart from the current activities to eradicate the above upcoming and dynamic problems in nature with respect to behavioural management or of what medication of healing would work out.
I would comment, the activities in the practices should be expanded and conduct likewise programmes workshops on educating purity before marriage, sex, child abuse, exploitation, rape, adultery, adolescence sex, teenage mothers, drugs addiction, aids, and divorce. Workshops, seminars for sex, abuse, peer mentoring, identifying preventive measures instead of curative measures targeting the social, political and the economical factors would be effective for incorporating the overall issues to bring the insight of the good and evil sides of every consequence, discussion on essential real life skills. Our goal is to create “world changers”, inviting the sacrifiers of evil and giving and sharing healthy priorities to save ourselves and the world, before it becomes a terrible fate and a debt for our own selves.
As the world is in unsafe fists of crime, terrorism, corruption, violence, youth have been diverted to a fast-paced and expects instant opportunities. Perhaps, the approaches of these local activities tend to be helpful and may bring positive results but I still feel that there is something missing, to monitor the youth from within. In an article – Practical: The Role of the Full-Time Youth Pastor in the Local Church, by Graeme Codrington, Denomination: Baptist (All), submitted on, May 18, 1997, states that, “In a world that is so busy, and demands so much of all of its inhabitants, young people need a secure environment, where they can experiment and decide who they want to be. They need significant people to be there to help them through this process. They need role models to follow”.
Above statement eventually satisfies the fact that these folks are craving for friendly support socially and for stimulation. Overall factors which conglomerate are peers, parents, teachers, church members and Christian community. All factors rely on one common feature which constitutes leadership. Ironically, most youth do understand the surrounding factors but the factors themselves become tough unknowingly that they can’t quite control the situation which then becomes too late to recover. The task is questioned commonly as what kind of leader a person should be to prove creditability and capability to influence the youth to pursue the direction towards god? In an article again stated by, Graeme Codrington, Denomination: Baptist (All), – Practical: The Role of the Full-Time Youth Pastor in the Local Church, submitted on, May 18, 1997, “Young people are not just “little adults” (cf. Elkind 1984:18). They are complex individuals who are battling to deal with the awesome transformation of their bodies, minds, and emotions. They are in a time of transition and growth, developing from the birthed bundle of potential to a fully integrated, functional member of society. The church is in a unique position to assist in this process”. Church as a role model fosters spiritual growth in every youth making them responsible to participate in Christian faith; she is a sign for an entrance of the god’s kingdom to the world of salvation, repentance, justice and peace to bring equality. She struggles hard and performs her duties wholly and solemnly reminds parents to structure their offspring’s life in Christian formation.
Church members acting as supporters, preach to establish and to promote a platform and share to encourage several types of civic, cultural, religious educational associations. In an article by Arthur Paul Boer – What must a Pastor know? Reflection on Congregational studies defines on writer James Hopewell’s statement saying beyond the embarrassment. “He has also observed that churches are sometimes chagrined by the change of hypocrisy and lament that they cannot measure upto ideals of Christian community”. Writer James Hopewell referred by Arthur Paul Boer notes that Christian leaders are incharge and build a church thereby rise in hypocrites. I observe practically that, though the world is changing, church strategy is also changing in complementing the growth. It still targets the set mission. Even though, somewhere in the corner hypocrites do exist but church leaders aim to find out what is the outcome in the people from the traditional, theological and biblical practices.
Perhaps according my research, I suggest they experiment bringing out good approaches to youth’s growth. Instead of the current activities followed in churches I would want to suggest the approach can be focused to bring in the outcome irrespective to exploration and innovation of ideas and thoughts for internal and external behaviour of an individual related to the surroundings around him, deepening of commitments to the teaching, provide opportunities to analyse socially and theologically and viewing his life in a theological manner. To build a framework of an activity consist of – to have an experience “like us”, to sense new boundaries by exploring new links to every Christian among themselves and to god across social and cultural boundaries.
In addition, exploration and inventive programmes can be executed to judge youth’s spirituality. Daily opportunities resulting in disorientation gets support through mission of god. Integration conceptual activities also can help in building and to capture ‘a born leader’. Church leader serves them as task leaders in the corrosion and freeing the task of a disconnected mind by planning tactics and dividing the burden of other’s through consultation. As the purpose is commitment, to serve the lost, skill based leadership formation training programmes can be organized to develop an effective leader so as to sustain the capability and capacity of the leader to solve the complaints lies in the dimensions of the ability. Workshops on intersections to shape boundaries of an individual and communities through theological and biblical language, symbols, and rituals to attain certain centered objectives.
As growth of globalization is tremendous, these leaders come across and face new opportunities and challenges. I believe they help in building an integral performance in conducting entrepreneurial business-based activities, describing the activities because youth’s mind is business-oriented, therefore the activities are to be structured keeping business in mind involving biblical and theological approaches with the existing resources for a business oriented youth. They tend to produce facilitate management sources to sustain and develop faith and love. When the youth develops a church from within, he will be able to observe and analyse the holistic environment.
The activities require presence of not only church members but also worshippers for youth development in successful implementation of these practices. Some worshippers form in small groups, some large varied to race culture. Arthur Paul Boer also examines simultaneously that when a group of pastors were having service of congregation, one among them exclaimed in deep breath “It showed me I’m not alone”. So often in our churches we berate ourselves for problems we face: not enough men, too few youth, preponderance of a certain race or culture. He is clear with the fact that a single person fails, unity increases strength. We ourselves give birth to a problem and then strive hard to face it because as there are few leaders left to catch a grip to support a large community. Due to less number of youth, less support is achieved to sustain the laws and policies of the church and unable to accomplish god’s mission. It is not only one who contributes but many. Above mentioned statement “It showed me I’m not alone” expresses that each race and culture form their own group; build small churches for their own community within their own boundaries, where god expects togetherness, wholeness. It requires lot of efforts to help small churches grow whereas large church with mass contribution grows as their already exist efforts in large numbers which take over the chained actions for development. Whether single church group or many, big or small, the development is important.
On this contradiction, I would suggest that this also includes that in small group the development is paid more attention and given a close eye, problems are spotted quickly and easily to meet the challenges. No matter how large or small challenges occur, the way we approach it is unique and comprehensive as this brings out effects of development in the youth. Whereas in large it becomes difficult to assist as there are more than one individuals. Due to small groups according to races and culture, differentiation exists. But the important criterion is group commitment and work effort in all sets of practice for congregations in any race or culture for a healthy youth so that to accomplish god’s mission. As a result both objectives are co-related to each other.
To understand the nature of Christian youth it is a very distinguished and a unique phenomenon. Due to the increasing issues of ‘peer pressure’, this has led to the obstruction in the development of youth. There are negative as well as positive aspects of it. Negative aspects influence a weaker mind. It is the most consistent findings revealed in observation. Due to the inquisitive innocence, an innocent becomes a prey of the negative aspect, thereby exploited and develops an evil companionship where he adopts negative qualities and habits. But there is positive aspects as in there are some groups who work towards peer relationship. Here innocent gets an opportunity to identify his fear, weakness and have control over his own power. The peer mentors play the part in organizing programmes to understand the behaviour. They interact with the teens and open lines of communication, build up action plans to change the behaviour by using the discipline skills wherever necessary. As church members play an integrate role, it is a challenge for them to develop the youth and make Christian education reachable to them.
Teachers are responsible preachers. Youth growth depends on a teacher infact they are the true facilitators of our learning, are Baptist figures and true authors of an individual’s life book. They also act as the resource developer and planner setting the curriculum for the healthy growth of an individual, depending how the curriculum is designed with the kind and level of leadership skills to recognize the youth psychology. Parents play a significant role in Christian education. They are the promising leaders which shape up Christianity, infact are the real teachers of Christian education. Parents act as a moral standard and support, therefore can synchronize to their growing youth to be aware from their early hood to gain knowledge in Christian faith and this is done when they themselves too experience a fullness of church.
Misunderstandings and miscommunication between parents and their children are one of the issues which follow breakings in the development of the youth. Due to parent’s own principles, for respect and love of family values often creates harmness to the children’s growth which tempts them to behave against them. Thus youth becomes a totalitarian of his own life by going against the values and ethics and unknowingly gets stucked in the torturous situations. Most Christian youth, fail to act upon the 10 commandments of bible.
I must say, I myself as a youth in my real life experience have observed that the originality of the commandments has changed excessively and replaced with the following:
Thou must worship money
Thou must “lyrically” murder
Thou must have evil possession
Thou must have sex
Thou must enjoy drug addiction
Thou must prosper, worship own self
Thou must not feel guilty
Thou must have no respect for ancestral values
Thou must not serve, sacrifice
Thou must differentiate
Due to the above, youth fails to feel guilty in which guiltness is a part of our conscience creating a false belief system as an obstacle in his maturity and creating structure of his own. Under such circumstances he avoids promoting prayer, sacrifice, grace, redemption, worship and meditation, atonement. Considering money and sex are the only two things reliable to satisfy the needs, creating a limitation and a boundary for establishing personal spiritual growth and development.
In general terms, when the efforts of religious and educational institutions, society lack to perform the planned task for Christian education, a positive approach is expected and constructed to gain knowledge and teaching through parents and teachers. Youth must be aware of guiltiness which is a gift from god to help us in being and doing well.
Still the question is raised in a Journal: Volume 5 Number 4, October 2003 by Author Charlene Tan, “Can Christian teachers and parents teach Christian beliefs without indoctrinating their students and children?”
Yes, they can teach Christian beliefs without indoctrinating their students and children they need to be careful when a child is to be handled as their minds are immature. At times it is difficult to understand them because their way of thinking is varied. Firstly before going to the next process, the first process has to be resolved. As teachers and parents are the role models for the development. In order to develop and understand these three role models should be systematically developed first. Only by abiding this rule, they can achieve the development in child. But the point lies beneath that how teachers and parents can prove themselves as an effective source of development by keeping in mind the relative factor of Child’s mind compatibility and psychology? As there are variations in psychological behavior teachers and parents should be mentally prepared, be changeable and adjustment oriented accordingly.

The political and current affair of the nation is affected by corruption and evilness rationally which gave birth to vivid factors like jealousy, modesty and so on, making human’s built a tendency to mislead the positive factors. The situations have made the teachers adapt those inequalities within them, affecting the surrounding factors. Parents have too due to their increasing self priority created barriers of understanding among their families.
Many people are often drawn towards the attention of the church because of their felt needs and not for spiritual needs.
For instance, it does occur that why the youth is tuned out of his own way? Even in their interaction with their own members it tends to happen with them that they fail to hear a word said to them – stating “I didn’t hear a word you said?”, even though it is obvious that they have said something relating to us. This proves a kind of negligence in contacting the positive mechanism which grows in the back of our minds. Such system blocks all the wanted and useful messages allowing us to hear and see only what our mind tells us to hear and believe. As this tendency is increased in the youth generation, it is creating gaps between a believer and faith of god.
The question is – How? How can we overcome this problem? Youth have themselves developed a capacity in mind to hear only what pleasures them without taking a decision that whether it is false or truth. My query is – How we can bring these groups of youth closer to god? Unconsciously resulting in unexpected calamities and unknowingly they are unable to repent it wisely. Due to this increasing factor, youth can’t get a grip of effective communication and develop themselves internally. Here the parents then enter the scene to play their role.

The main question lies whether the local churches fulfill and meet to mature disciples in Christian education?

As stated above, ‘youth’ are the most critical of all critics when it comes to religion. In this modern era, youth is distracted to church because they are building castles in air due to the unmaterialistic desire. Youth today have focused their vision to crave success and prosperity for their rising life graph; they exploit their own ones due to greed and selfishness. During the primary phase of struggle and hard work, youth craves to achieve prosperity, at the same time, do thank god and accept his involvement for success, but hand in hand, lack to follow the bibles ethics which says to respect others in and with unity. Due to the competition and growth politically, more often youth seem to push the fellow mates and strive to takeover their place. They themselves are unaware that they give birth to exploitation and inequality. And due to inequality, unity is declined, wherein bible does not specify inequality. In a book source, Pastor – “Rick Warren’ – illustrates in his book – The Purpose-Driven Church -“The issue is church health, not church growth!” declares warren. “if your church is healthy, growth will occur naturally. Healthy consistent growth is the result of balancing the five biblical purposes of the church.”
In addition to this he also declares that “If u concentrate on building people, God will build the church”.
I agree at a certain point with the above statement. I herewith would want to magnify on “How would one build a healthy youth for a healthy church”? In this sense I believe that both are co-related with each other. Again the issue arises in my mind ‘How will the church be healthy if the youth is unhealthy?’ The issue can’t be only concentrated on church. For a church to survive, the basic foundation is the youth and for the youth to be saved and attracted the church has to be healthy. In my knowledge it is a ‘Vicious Circle’.
Local churches upto some extent do specifically fulfill the discipleship through the practices and play a great emphasis in fulfilling and conveying the message of god to us, but still lack to read the minds and bring the youth closer to her, for which she has to upgrade her atmospheric appearance with new packages to reach the youth in a new taste due to the competitive modernism which is hovering on the youth.
The latter part can play the best part coz when first falls in place, everything else falls in place, from the beginning to the end, from all angles in all walks of life. Towards a healthy faith, healthy church can turn and seed a growth of spirituality through which mankind will grow spiritually from within thereby causing church growth.
Author Perry G. Down states in his book – “Teaching for spiritual growth” that ‘how can we best enable Christians to grow towards maturity?’ For this question he suggests three key concepts- ministry, believer, and purpose. But my understanding says that these concepts are incomplete somewhere to create a bond in reaching the results because today’s youth is attracted towards the unrealistic worldly matters, but has resulted in declination towards the god’s spiritual growth. The major role connecting these three concepts is commitment and effort. As the church ministry is the foundation pillar, the main aim is how much measure of commitment is valued and given to achieve the target successfully. Mankind is able to commit only when he chooses the right direction in fear and is able but this is unfortunate as the alien world tend to let us unidentify the type of strategies of growth for maturity. By identifying the type of strategies of growth, we can understand the level of growth required towards maturity at which we can be spiritual. Another reason for in growth is fear. As the youth fears to face unexpected problems, the efforts are less and require the hierarchy’s support.
Author Gary C. Newton stated in his book – “Going towards spiritual maturity” quotes the principle that “God is ultimately responsible for all spiritual growth”. The question arises at this point that if god is responsible for everything, what will be the purpose and role of human? I comment that while god supplies the resources like bible, church, Holy Spirit, baptism, it is also our responsibility to supply effort and commitment to utilize those resources and give results to god. In bible, Paul highlights this principle of his personal lifestyle and in his teachings comparing with the example of a soldier or athlete to illustrate the amount of sincerity and efforts. (1 Corinthians 9:24-27), Paul states that “In a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize”. I herewith conclude in a Christian race all runners (ministry, believers, purpose) will fail to get a prize if there is no effort that is commitment from everyone.
Along with the concept of ministry, believer, purpose; effort is also the key concept and it has to be achieved from the youth as well. A healthy youth will gain efforts only when the growth will favour them from within, when the forces of the ministry believers and youth will collide with each other to form a healthy growth.
This will create a mutual relationship between god’s provisional resources and our active involvement in process which is more clearly in Philippians 2:12-13: “Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is god who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose”. This principle is intricate but the application is clear.
If one is to grow towards maturity in Christ then one must cultivate and demonstrate the efforts with passion, Philippians 2:17-18: ” But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. So you be glad and rejoice with me”.
Therefore the conclusion lies in the above concept, both; effort of the youth along with the work of ministry, believers proves in the healthiness of the church. In the book “Youth At Risk” by Peter Christian Olsen, 2003, he highlights four basic needs which he has clearly created an awareness of the effects that affects the development of youth:
Acceptance – belonging
New beginnings and second chances – forgiveness
Significance – generosity
Freedom – independence
I agree with his confirmation that he examines in deriving the above developmental needs from the provision of the Almighty’s resources as the absence of these needs do intentionally contribute in how they shape the personality, maturity, responsibility and stability of emotions. He emphasizes Christian community in respond to the needs determining that, the resources will be polishing youth through support during the fear and avoid them from destruction. At times the concepts will be foreign, indigestive for youth because unable to realize its importance. Rather the community need not re-interpret or change the language but simplify their thoughts and improve their visionary and understanding by change in structure through a friendly communication by becoming an effective leader to bridge the gap between the church and the youth. Therefore forces and efforts are needed for decision making which is an effective key in respond to ministry believer and purpose for a possibility of a healthy youth to build a healthy church, which will make the church flourish.

Supporting surveys

According to a survey, some findings proved that church fails to answer every question of the youth.

Q.1 In what way and sense is Christian religion, faith and church viewed by today’s modern youth?

Youth of today’s modern era is firm on the point stating that inspiration is lacked in religion; they feel that the world is divided through religion and is the major factor which is affecting the growth. A 17-year-old Jude from Kent says confidently that “He does not agree with the church who talks on subject morality” and is “Overfilled with traditionality”.
Youth pick their ideas which suit their taste through various religious beliefs. There are few in bunch who strongly believe, there exist only single religion which has controlled the truth. Young generation refer to perform all activities as per their own desire which in return less importance to the religious belief are being given, which gives birth to the side effects of the conduct.

Q.2 Why do young crowd feel that Christianity is not a ‘happening’ cultural activity?

An 18-year-old Marcus said that he left church when he was 15 because the teachings did not amuse him and it did not interest him of anything as a youth.
The major quest, a struggle for a religion is to impose an exertion of force of involvement in terms of attraction. I usually attend church service wherein I find young ones missing the services. I kept questioning myself that, where the young crowd has disappeared? Surprisingly the young ones have taken charge for the attendance of the church. In this consequence the church should give priority to change its curriculum and its way of presenting the services with new attractive packages for enhancement.

Q.3 Are the young preachers practicing different approaches in Christianity declining. What are your suggestions?

As the attendance of the youth in church has declined, but on the other hand people practicing approaches are increasing in numbers. The following is revealed through one of the youths that more the deepening are the studies of the bible, more a person becomes a hypocrite of the Christian leadership and unintentionally accepts and performs the lifestyle of the clergy right or wrong at times unknowingly. In such case, the practices are affected and become different from those which are to be precise. Seen are still some true Christian youngsters who are different in their attitude and conduct, but in spite of such difference, they are not involved into the immorality and violence activities with other youths. They present themselves as they are from a different unknown religion, but practice the religion and it

2024.05.16 13:15 Dimetro_Sparks I've decided to put my take on the Internet popular "Mothra: Queen of the Monsters"

I've decided to put my take on the Internet popular
Hope you all enjoy the show! (Fair warning, it's very long)
We start off as a flashback during early Ancient Egypt times, where Mothra was flying over the deserts, peacefully scattering her godly lights over man and animal alike, bowing down to her in reverence and becoming docile respectively, before she senses a disturbance somewhere. She rushes over to it, and sees Abaddon (using my idea for him, a huge-ass Dragonfly with a functional mouth, a stinger tail, and the forelimbs of a Praying Mantis) using his swarm to hunt for food.
Mothra dispels the swarm and attacks Abaddon with her God Rays, with Abaddon territorially attacking the Queen, and Mothra, in a show of stubbornness, engaging his challenge, and both insectoid Titans engaged in a brutal aerial battle as the Ancient Egyptians watched. It looked as it was going well for the more nimble Mothra, until Abaddon trapped Mothra in his raptorial forelimbs, brutally slamming and dragging her across the sands, before he lifted her and raised his stinger. It cuts to the Ancient Egyptians, who gasp and look on in horror as the sound of a sharp object and crunching sounds fill the air. Abaddon drops Mothra's lifeless corpse as he flies away, having satiated his hunger, while the screen zooms in on Mothra's eye. Whatever epic opening your mind makes happens, before the title lights up.
We follow Ilene Andrews (Rebecca Hall) and her surrogate daughter Jia (Kaylee Hottle) again, this time joined with the Chen Twins, Dr. Ilene and Dr. Ling (both played by Zhang Ziyi) as Jia dreams about Mothra…'s hatching, that is. That's right, sometime after the battle in Rio de Janeiro, Mothra has flown to the Borneo Jungle and laid an egg there, and the main cast arrive to witness it in person, and naturally, when the larva hatches, it was a magnificent sight for all involved. When the night falls and Jia goes to sleep in the Borneo Outpost, she once again shares a dream with Mothra, joined by the Chen Twins, due to their history with the Queen… until the dream started going out of control, wildly flashing and prophesying, among other things, a high-pitched whining sound, unblinking red eyes, the earth collapsing, and darkness enveloping the skies.
Everyone in the dream, from where they are, wake up in a cold sweat, until they get an urgent call that the Mothra Larva was displaying an unnatural and out of character level of agitation, proven correct when they see the slightly nervous Mothra pulsating yellow and orange, before breaking free of her containment and vanishing into the forest. It was pretty easily seen that something big was about to go down if Mothra of all Titans was getting upset. And soon enough, it looked like it came true when a devastating earthquake shook a large part of Asia, splitting the ground asunder and causing ruin, all while energy signatures shows Mothra venturing into Hollow Earth. At this point, the humans knew something was up. So it was decided, one team, with Dr. Ilene Chen, would stay up on the Surface World and monitor any more earthquakes or disturbances, and another, with Dr. Ling, and newcomers to the series Lance Gibson (Donny Lucas) and Scarlet Wilde (Emilia Clarke) would venture into Hollow Earth to keep track of Mothra.
As Team Hollow Earth follows Mothra, understanding that she is sensing something they don't, they keep a close eye on her. Mothra continues making a beeline, hauling ass towards wherever, until she enters a foggy quarry and sees a flashing light that comes closer to her, causing Mothra to tense up, until the fog dispels and she sees… Battra. The flashing light was his horn, and Mothra, seeing this larva that shares the same similarities to her, softens up. Team Hollow Earth were stunned at seeing another Moth Titan, especially with scans showing they share the same genetic material. Mothra appears to be slightly taller than Battra, with Lance suggesting the possibility of them being siblings, and Mothra having hatched first, something that everybody agrees on. Battra has sensed Mothra's presence and vice-versa, with the Queen of the Monsters being visibly overjoyed to be an older sister. Until Battra's horn glows red, and he glows in agitation, before beckoning Mothra to follow him, and the humans trail after them.
Mothra and Battra's venture in the rest of Hollow Earth lead to the Moth Siblings getting ambushed by a large and aggressive Praying Mantis Sub-Titan called a Scymantis. Battra, who has never been in a serious battle before, was scared and hid behind Mothra, who fortunately, did know how to fight. Mothra does battle with the Scymantis, and Mothra, filled with a huge protective big sister instinct, had actually led to her killing the Scymantis, a move that stuns everyone watching, even Mothra herself, though she quickly collects herself and continues on to follow Battra's signal. Both Moth Siblings take a breather in a large beautiful grassy plain, where they see large glowing aphid-like creatures called Flight Lights, one of whom Mothra grabs and directs it's abdomen to her mouth, before eating in a delicious (to her) substance like an ant eating honeydew from an aphid. Battra tries to do the same as his sister, but he doesn't know how to, which visibly saddens him. Mothra, seeing the trouble her younger brother is facing, teaches him how to properly eat from a Flight Light, and does so properly, causing him to light up in happiness.
Meanwhile, with Team Surface World, Monarch is helping the areas of Asia that has been led to ruin by the earthquake, when they see the skies slightly darkening, something they identify to be a sign that Abaddon is arriving. Sure enough, he does indeed show up, his swarm following him. Abaddon was highly aggressive, something that confuses the Monarch team up above, until Abaddon reaches in and pulls out a huge insectoid Titan. The humans back away as Abaddon engages in a battle with the creature, before killing it, and feasting on it. Abaddon leaves, but the humans are left to ponder at what came out. Back in Hollow Earth, the Moth Siblings a large chasm in the ground, going several kilometers down, called the Gaping Maw. The Moth Siblings leap down the chasm, falling underneath and dispelling a veil of natural steam, with the humans following them, until they reach the bottom.
Mothra bravely treads ahead, while Battra cautiously trails behind her, his horn staying red. Until the humans manage to direct the two of them to a veil of what looked like webbing, with Scarlet confirming it not belonging to the Moth Titans. Both Moths rip it open, and see a huge hive, all filled to the brim with Meganulons, almost all of whom stop and stare at them. Battra was nervous, but Mothra crawled forward. Up until she sees a Meganulon about to fall to its death, at which point she rushes forward with no hesitation and saves it. As the Meganulon stared at her in what looked like awe and wonder, a loud screeching is heard, and all the Meganulons back away as both Moth Siblings. Battra looked terrified, while Mothra was defiant, as the Queen of the Meganulons, Megaguirus, emerged and hovered down to greet the newcomers.
Megaguirus sniffed Mothra out with her antennae, and understood that she came from the Surface World, which is good news for her, seeing as she wants to expand her hive. Until she sensed something else on the Surface. One of her own was dead, murdered. The same one that Abaddon killed. Furious at one of her brood's death, Megaguirus engaged the Moth Siblings in battle (yes, she treats her subjects with remarkably more respect and kindness that Skar King). Mothra valiantly fought her, even as a larva, while protecting the terrified Battra. While it looked like Mothra was doing well, Megaguirus, due to being mature, being incredibly speedy, having razor-sharp wings, and able to fly, managed to overpower her, grappling her in a deadly lock with her pincers and stinger tail, and even absorbing Mothra's energy with her stinger. Battra was scared, but upon seeing Mothra struggling, he decided to charge in and his horn lights up with yellow electrical (what looks like it, anyway) energy, and using it to force Megaguirus off of Mothra, who tag teams the Meganulon Queen and slams her to the ground.
They would have continued, if not for Megaguirus' wings glowing and letting out a roar. Suddenly, the ground erupted, and out came Megalon, whom Megaguirus treated almost like a brother, with Megalon in turn, being unfailingly loyal to her. And so, used his abilities over the earth to severely injure Mothra and Battra, forcing them to retreat. As the humans escape the Gaping Maw and bring the two Moth Titans to a secluded but humongous cavern to rest, the humans found ancient tunnels with writings of an ancient tribe, explaining that their God, Megalon, created the Vile Vortexes to Hollow Earth, but after getting touched by a "Golden Ray of Light", he had become destructive after meeting Megaguirus, a "kindred spirit", and have a solution should they ever attack the world. Unbeknownst to them, the Moth Siblings found that solution: a huge influx of Hollow Earth radiation, not only healing their wounds, but supercharging them, and accelerating their growth. When the humans finally notice the blinding lights behind them, they saw the double cocoons, and the literal blinding beauty of both Moth Siblings gracefully emerge in their Imago Forms.
Battra was amazed at his new form, while Mothra makes a dash and flies out, zooming out. Meanwhile, Battra flies back into the Gaping Maw to keep an eye on the Meganulons, he sees that Megaguirus is on the move, with Megalon and a crap-ton of Meganulon Warrior drones to assist her in her invasion of the Surface World. Battra flies back to the humans and warns this to Jia, who relays it to the humans, until Lance asks where the hell Mothra went to, with Scarlet bringing up scans revealing she went to the Surface. Back up in the Surface World, the team there reads Mothra's signatures erupting as she flies out, but she is making a straight beeline for a specific Titan. To Abaddon. Mothra is directly provoking him to get him to follow her to combat this threat, which worries Dr. Ling, seeing as she was aware of what Abaddon was capable of. Sure enough, the two Insect Titans collide in Bangladesh, where a furious Abaddon engages the challenging Mothra in combat once again. It seems as if history is going to repeat, until Battra steps in between the downed Mothra and Abaddon, and explains the situation. Abaddon was motionless for a few moments, before he backs off and follows Mothra and Battra to Hollow Earth.
With Team Hollow Earth, they were now tasked with holding the line between Megaguirus' forces, and the Vile Vortexes to the Surface World until Mothra comes back, knowing that they're in big trouble if they manage to get there. While this happens, Battra and Abaddon get into some skirmishes about one-upping the other due to Battra's newfound confidence with his powers and Abaddon's dislike of anything moth, but manage to hold it in enough to get to their destination. Soon enough, the three insectoid Titans arrive at the battlefield, where they charge in as Megaguirus and her forces do to. Mothra engages in a dogfight with Megaguirus, Battra attacks Megalon on the ground, and Abaddon makes some snacks out of the Meganulons, as the humans attempt to both escape and join in on the fight. During the brawl, Megalon manages to make the ground unstable enough for him to fall into a Vile Vortex, causing the other Titans (and humans) to follow suit.
In the Surface World, all the combatants find themselves in Barcelona, Spain. Megaguirus commands her hive with a high-pitched whining to arrive, with Megaguirus' absorption of Mothra's ability darkening the sky in a huge electrical superstorm, one Meganulon almost grabbing the humans, until Abaddon swoops in to save them, and the Moth Siblings follow suit. Their battles takes them to the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone. During the clash of insects, Battra realized brute force wasn't going to work on Megalon, so he continued beating down the huge beetle, until he grabbed the fatigued Megalon, and aerial suplexed him, making the ground give way and having him plummet to the depths of the earth. Now without her biggest ally, Megaguirus attacks more furiously, but fails when both Moth Siblings tag-team her with slashes and stabs, as Battra amplifies Mothra's own abilities, when Mothra grabs her and stares her down. Megaguirus roars defiantly, which is when Mothra flies up to the superstorm and throws Megaguirus in there, electrocuting her, before Mothra slams Megaguirus down on one of the volcanoes, immolating her to death. Both Moth Siblings and Abaddon roar triumphantly as Mothra uses her God Rays to dispel the superstorm. Mothra looks at Abaddon, who seems to give her and Battra a look of respect, before he flies off.
Mothra is seen patrolling over the skies of the Amazon Rainforest, until she is greeted by Battra, as both the Moth Siblings exchange a cute little bioluminescent show of affection towards each other. Both teams of humans watch as Mothra and Battra fly off, casting a bigger light than the sun, and fade to white as the ending scene before credits roll.
