i recently graduated highschool and moved back in with my mom, and i just surpassed my 5 weeks clean milestone for purging. i still binge every few days, but i have been working out to make up for it. lately i can hear relapse calling my name, like i didn't have closure wih my bulimia because i never told anyone. i hate how i look and i hate my lack of control around food, and it's biting me in the ass.
a few days ago i ordered chinese food, with full intentions of eating it in a healthy manner and enjoying it. until my mom told me how fried it was and said "i thought you were trying to be healthier". at that moment i just wanted to give up, and i have felt that way since. i wasn't making healthy choices, i never do. i was in a deep b/p cycle from december until mid april, my body is still recovering. im relearning how to eat it feels like.
the sad thing is, my mom didn't know any better. nobody but my new therapist knows,, which i am thankful to now have. i just feel like im slipping and my next binge is going to result in a relapse. and after that? who knows what. i wish i could wipe my brain and think about food normally instead of it consuming my entire being.
i lowkey just needed to tell that to people who understand, my therapist doesn't specialize in EDs and i'm too scared to tell anyone

I had the opportunity to try out these JFG Racing Motorcycle Universal Handguards a couple of weeks ago, and I must say, they've been a game-changer for me. Riding off-road ATVs always comes with its fair share of hazards, and these handguards have been a lifesaver in protecting my hands from brush, rocks, mud, and cold wind.
The combination of PP Plastic and Aluminum Alloy used in making these handguards brings a robustness that I've never come across in other handguards I've tried in the past. They offer a substantial shield, giving me the confidence I need when tackling the roughest terrains.

I have three TV plug-n-play devices, all of which are malfunctioning. I'm new to making repairs, so I don't know what is causing the issues. My guess is they all have issues with the AV cords, which have not been taken good care of (although they don't show visible damage). I have a Sega Genesis by AT Games and Super Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man by Jakks Pacific. Pictures of each are included.
Both Super Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man turn on without issue. At some point during my session, the game will either:
1) Visually and sonically freeze (the screen is frozen and an electronic droning plays)
2) Lose signal, and the TV will say no input is detected despite the device staying on
In both cases, the power is always on, it's just the input signal that seems to go out.
I wanted to get video of issue #1 but now I'm just getting issue #2 for the most part.
For the Genesis, all of the audio is detuned. It comes with 40 or so games, and I booted up Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time since ~2014, and everything was out of pitch and distorted. I just recently played on a different Genesis and it definitely didn't sound like this.
I'm interested in learning about what causes problems like these and how reasonable a fix they are. I'd also like to get these devices up and running the best they can be since my family has enjoyed using them a lot in the past. If anyone has some advice I'd really appreciate it.

26F I injured my left index finger when a dog pulled hard while the leash was wrapped around my finger. It quickly became swollen and bruised at the PIP joint. It hurts to bend it, and put pressure on that finger and my hand, my range of motion is restricted and I can't straighten it. After a few days I went to a doctor, got an x-ray, the doctor said there were no obvious breaks so he gave me a splint. He said to see an orthopedist, but it takes literally months to make an appt with a specialist. It's gotten gradually better overall, but even after the swelling has gone down, it looks weird. The parts that appear swollen around the PIP in the picture feel completely hard rather than soft and squishy like how swelling usually is. I'm wondering if this hardening is normal and just part of the healing or not.

Like the best places for particular sigils? I heaed one person got supp V+ from behemoth, I still only have two but i guess the best way to handle them is to fuse them to get Supp + Supp, i mean you probably can't do TOO much with that but freeing up a whole slot can probably make some differences? There are a lot of ways to make a holiday movie: i.e., throw a paltry, mundanely realistic title at the beginning of a movie that barely scratches the surface of what a film should suppose to presuppose, then throw in tropes that mean absolutely nothing to the overall feeling of the film itself. It almost becomes a lampoon of the feature that could be seen through a bed sheet of irreverence that only a farcical feature could abide by in order to grant it a pass for its outlandishness, but only because it carries the title of the hallmark, but nothing of the theme. 

Is Silent Night such a movie? Well... That's iffy.

I think in its broadest respects, Silent Night harkens back to some of the greatest drive-in, b-movies of old that became instant classics amongst the truly devout. The Rutger Hauer classic Blind Fury comes instantly to mind in this fray, but that is not a holiday movie, even in the least bit. So... what exactly constitutes a “holiday movie”? Is it because it encapsulates what we all think of when it comes to the movie or series, or is it something deeper? Is it a monicker you throw on a movie that really has zero to little of what the movie is, or is it something that reminds you of themes that seem forgotten? Silent Night has a strange way of doing both. The things we consider so categorically of a myth or cultural consideration, what is it that goes beyond the haunting aspect of what we desire, regret, forget, or even bluster? Our eyes are constantly trained on what is and what could be, but not what IS. I think that could be the deepest cut of all; we care more about the image than the intricacy. What passes for something that “is, or could never be” is lackadaisically piled in with “thanks for consideration” or “best wishes”. Is that what we celebrate anything for? Is that what we believe? This movie posits a very simple question: “What would YOU do?” The premise that a benign, sullen man that becomes deaf after chasing down his children's killers and killing one of them becomes enraged enough to fight the very spirit of death to anything that could ever stop him. Left for dead, he makes a miraculous return to the land of the living. Thus, after training for 365 days, he comes back to take action against those very killers and exact revenge against his son's death, which does definitely happen. What's my opinion? Let's let action do the talking. We usually let exposition garner favorability when it comes to how we discern what is acceptable or unacceptable. What makes this movie awesome is this movie has ZERO dialogue! Thus, the name “Silent Night”. Duhr! That takes a lot of effort to pull off something so intriguing and John Woo definitely makes a great return by telling a cohesive and detailed story without any dialogue. Joel Kinneman also served a producer, so you can definitely feel the care and attention that went into this. All in all, I really enjoyed this movie and am looking forward to many more viewings for Christmases to come to find more things that I definitely missed in the theater.
