• Tapswap has no transparency. The owner is not known, their website does not have any information about the project, like literally NO SINGLE INFORMATION.
  
• They target the lazy people and convince them that this is gonna make them money by just clicking on their phone
  
• It is only telegram based, they do not have any other social media (they have a Twitter but still), they don't have any other social media. popular crypto projects have other social medias too like reddit, instagram, etc.
  
• They don't have a clear goal of what their project is.
  
• They don't have a community telegram channel where their members can chat and discuss.
  
• Tapswap is very low effort. they don't have any security and rely on telegram for their security. they use the telegram's mini apps feature which makes it so that only people on phone can use their app (so that pc users can't debug / intercept network requests to get unlimited shares).
  
• They are completely client sided, have no server side validation. if you modify your client and say that you have 1 billion tapswap shares, they are gonna believe it and update it on the server.
  
• You are not mining the coin, mining coin requires some cpu power, which tapswap is not using.
  
• They have a very good referal system, which helps them grow and advertise for free very fast, they gained like 10m new users in a span of a week.
  
• They have an automatic mining bot, which will keep clicking for you for upto 12 hours, so this means you have to collect the coins every 12 hours only. this might look like a good thing for lazy people, but if you have common sense, this is giving no profit to them, which proves that this is a scam.
  
• They used solana for fame. They claimed that it was powered by solana, which made them look trustworthy. when the solana admins exposed that they had no connections with tapswap, they removed solana from their name.
  
• They have still not announced the blockchain they are gonna launch on.
  
• They extended the launch date for the stupidest reason: "they claimed that they had found a lot of bot accounts that had farmed a shit ton of coins, and they wanted a fair distribution, so they needed time to find more and ban them"

They recently added a thing that could double your shares, all you gotta do is pay them 1 TON (I think it was like $63 or something). they claimed it was a limited time offer and one time offer.
they removed the above thingy, it was there yesterday and when I checked this morning, it was gone.
If something sounds too good to be true, it most probably is a scam.

The bug manifests as the Post button being unusable unless a link is entered. This prevents the creation of text posts since they do not use links.

TL;DR Vercel is awesome but cold starts have me skeptical for longterm. Heroku seems a great alternative (and cheaper), but if you can't keep it under 512RAM (in my case), you only solved one problem and created another. Should I just go VPS? concerned code below.
I utilized the Google Ads Api and created a Google Shopping App that incorporates all of Google's RMF: Required Minimum Functionality For a Standard Shopping tool. The plan was to just create an app that follows a marketing strategy (just to create structured campaigns) I've been using for while and make it available to other people in ecommerce. By time I was finished and ready to submit, I realized there was a lot more I had to add in order to get approved. This works and with some configuration, I was able to have the app fully functional. Most times, it is so fast and I love it, but the cold starts are unpredictable and aren't ideal for many reasons. Still, I submitted the app to google to have my requested access granted and app approved for production and all went well! Given I was able to get the app approved with Vercel, I want to make it work. I tried experimental:

Still, it seemed this would be the norm... Are things suppose to improve once you get regular traffic? Is it unique to each user or the app itself? I haven't canceled my account yet, but I did remove my domain because I figured I should give Heroku a shot.

I saw a post talking about Heroku as an alternative to Vercel, and I already use Heroku (node.js/Express backend) + Firebase (React frontend) for another project. Never had an issue, but I was skeptical about a Next.js app due to the monolithic structure and some of the complex processes this app performs.
The biggest shortcoming for me is the hard 512mb RAM limit. I don't have anymore cold starts, but when I initially started the app up I was hitting memory exceeded (R14) in my logs. On the very first start I also experienced an execution timeout (sigh...). I have been trying to reproduce this error since to see if it will be a common occurrence but, so far It hasn't shown itself again...
Aside from that, It's great, but not without it's own shortcomings (in my case RAM). Even upgrading to Standard would still leave me with the same amount. At that point, It becomes questionable if it's a better solution than Vercel. If I want 1GB of RAM from heroku, I'm looking at $50 minimum p/m?

Sorry If I didn't explain this well. Between weighing up the options to take a 3rd shot at another hosting service or question whether I can better optimize my code to work within Heroku's RAM limits. I definitely would appreciate some feedback or advice. My gut is telling me to go VPS, but I wonder If i may be ignoring a bigger issue at hand. I know my next-auth implementation part could be better optimized and the amount of comments might just piss some of you off (bare with me, it was a pain to set up). My question is… if he truly stopped looking at that kind of content, he wouldn’t still be receiving that kind of junk, would he? If he stopped years ago… I’m not sure how algorithms work, but I just thought since it was years ago, it would have refreshed itself at some point…
Also to clarify, I routinely checked his “battery” usage to see what apps he uses to see if he was still using Reddit and Reddit wasn’t on there and no suspicious apps were listed either, not even a “recently deleted apps”. I also haven’t found him on any dating sites.
His instagram is still flooded with the same content as well, but he claims he doesn’t use instagram often at all. He just recently downloaded Threads and the content that automatically pulled up was 18+ posts… He’s given me access to all of his social media accounts… and gives me his phone whenever I’ve asked.
But why is he getting so many spam messages? Does anyone know? Please help…..
