2024.05.21 23:54 SkyDependent684 Are there any good pose-able Garfield figures out there?

I love actions figures like the marvel legends figures, NECA, super 7 those types of things. Where they’re nice premium pose-able action figures for older collectors and I was wondering if there were any of Garfield. Heck even with more popular characters like Bugs Bunny there are very few premium action figures like that, which is a shame because I love doing photography with them and I’d love to have a nice figure of Garfield that I could pose that isn’t a bendy figure.

2024.05.21 23:42 _Doggie_ Fury Unleashed really superised me! (In a good way)

Made a post recently asking for all of your "hidden gem" or underrated roguelikes/lites that you have played.
You guys gave me so many amazing recommendations, and I really wanna thank all of you for that, and I hope some of you found some games to try with that thread as well!
I wound up picking up a lot of new roguelites I hadn't played, Fury Unleashed being one of those.
It's funny, cause I had heard of Fury Unleashed before having it mentioned by a few people in that thread, however I just assumed it was kind of a meh game cause I always see it discounted to basically nothing on the Nintendo Switch eshop. (Which in the past has led to me purchasing literal trash rogeulites before lmao). However after seeing it mentioned a couple times in the thread i decided to give it a shot, but I got it on PC as it looked like it would be better played with mouse and keyboard (I was right lol)
I gotta say, wow this game has blown me away so far. I absolutely love the comic book story they went for, following the author's troubles as his comic becomes less and less popular. The idea of playing as a character in a comic is sweet, and it is done very very well here.
The gameplay just feels so satisfying, dashing around meleeing everything, or staying back and shooting from afar feels very satisfying. I love how the weapons can have little modifiers on them that make them different each time, and the grenades and special abilities are really fun as well!
If i had to have any gripes, I would say the item variety besides the weapons (since those can have different attributes) is pretty low for a roguelite. Weirdly however, It doesn't bother me as much in this game as it would others (which is very rare btw, I usually hate games with little to no item variety) since every run still winds up feeling different enough for me, and the gameplay is good enough to justify it.
With all of this being said I'm only a few hours in so far, however compared to the other roguelites I picked up recently, this is the one that I have played the most which I DID NOT expect at all to be the case.
So TLDR, would highl;y highly recommend this game if it looks at all interesting to you! (It does seem like it wouldn't play as well on controller though, so probably buy on pc if you do get it)

2024.05.21 21:57 RepresentativeBet887 Outgrown my MacBook Pro

Hello, I’ve been 3D modeling low poly objects and animating simple scenes over the last 15 years in Strata 3D (I know) and Autodesk Maya for the last 3 years. I do this for work (eLearning course media) and at home for a hobby (3D printing and still/animated art).
Lately, my interests and professional work are driving me deeper into complexed scenes and models. I feel that I’m started to lose efficiency in development and rendering due to hardware constraints. My plan is to build a personal computer that I can use to 3D model high-poly objects, simulate Bifrost FX (water, fire, etc) rig and animate characters. I will mostly use Arnold for rendering. My work computer won’t be upgraded for about 2 years, so unfortunately I can’t play with their budget before mine, lol. I’m sitting at $2,500 right now.
I will only list the beefiest setup I currently have to work with: MacBook Pro M2 Max chip 12 cores (8 performance, 4 efficiency) 64GB Memory Micron LPDDR5 1TB SSD
I should be good on monitors, keyboard and mouse. Just looking at towers and components. Thank you for any feedback/recommendations.

2024.05.21 20:48 DragonTalonDT On the eligibility of "Brandon Sanderson" within my own works (important!!!)

"Heya guys I am Brandon Sanderson pleased to meet you"
This line has been appearing without end in my dreams as of late. On the walls, glowing red on the insides of my eyelids, scrawled in coagulating blood on mirrors... I just can't seem to stop it. Well, you know how writing is, tee hee! The ol' voices only stop when you put pen to paper (not literally. I use a keyboard most of the time? Though I've heard most still use paper and quill from a trusted source.).
So, in order to appease them, I've decided that I should put Brandon Sanderson in my novel and have him say this. However, I'm not sure how to go about it. Do I literally put the guy, as if this were some isekai, coming to my fantasy world post-die, straight as he is, not batting an eye? Or do I just slap his name onto one of my characters and call it a day? (I'm worried the latter could be considered inauthentic. I've never read any of his stuff, but I've heard that if you do, you have to take him on as your patron saint, and as I mention below, I'm not the type to want to be affixed to a cross! Let alone by nerdy book-reading zealots...)
Also, I'm a little concerned about copyright. Is Brandon Sanderson a copyrighted character? Do you think they'd make the exception for me? I really wanna be published, so this is important, but I also don't wanna be crucified by the voices for going against them (they've been dragging it closer to the foot of my bed every 7 days to remind me who's in charge) so I need to find some compromise.
And just one last thing, all my characters tend to be really racist. It just happens. Write what you know, if you get my gist. I think it makes them more nuanced and really shows that not all racists mean any harm! But I get that the masses don't get this and someone from the legal team might be forced to issue a cease and desist because of all those angry fans who don't know what's best, or, worse, the houses would refuse to publish my special novel (this would be bad because I wouldn't get published). Assuming we get the earlier paragraph sorted out, how racist do you think I could make him? Maybe just some implications here and there? Or maybe it's okay if I do show don't tell and make him express his feelings through actions instead of walking up to the camera (I write so it'll be adapted into a movie someday, for context) and stating everything that composes him as the rest of my characters do?
Thanks for the help. Gee, writing can be tough, huh? Luckily we have each other.

2024.05.21 19:56 3lite768 [OTHER] How a Zelda MMO Could Work

This is my proposition for the MMO, The Legend of Zelda: War of Hyrule.
Object of the game: The armies of Queen Zelda and King Ganondorf are at war. The game is over upon the assassination of either. The player must choose a faction and cannot change sides until the defeat of Ganondorf or Zelda. It will all start again after. Ganondorf and Zelda are controlled by humans whose full time job is playing the game. There will be six people playing as each. Three people taking an 8 hour shift Monday-Friday and three people on Saturday and Sunday. When one has to call in sick or use PTO, one will take over another's shift. They can turn on AI when they need to go to the bathroom or out to lunch. The people playing as Link and Dark Link are rewarded to the player with the highest kills of their respective factions.
Ganondorf has a country to the north of Hyrule, over the gorge, past the badlands complete with it's own castle, depths, sky islands, and surface. Players to his faction start there. The country is named Drogmire.
Hyrule has been restored and even expanded. Hyrule Castle is even bigger because they put in a middle section of the castle when it got separated and they now have a really big basement going to the bottom of the depths. The final boss area in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is repurposed to be part of Hyrule Castle. The damaged areas are also repaired. Hyrule Castle Town Market has been restored to contain a variety of stores.
The game is $10 a month. $5 with a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. The players of the winning faction get the next month free. Everyone pays the first month. If multiple victories happen in one month, only the first one counts. The monthly fee will contribute to the wages of the people playing as Zelda and Ganondorf, maintenance, and adding additional features.
There are ten playable races. Five to each faction. Everyone starts out with 23 hearts. 17 shrines per race. Other races cannont enter the shrine designed to that particular race. There is a boss at the end of every shrine, but only 17 total. You can rechallenge three of the bosses a day. Upon the completion of a shine a heart container will be awarded. Stamina vessels will be purchased for 2000 rupees each. More shrines may be added as time goes on.
There will be a new separate armor set for shoes.
You can create your own character's physical appearance in an avatar creator. Players have the option of letting AI suggest a physical appearance. In order to avoid everyone wearing the same looking armor, AI will decide what each set of armor looks like or you can edit it yourself. The effect of the armor is the same for everyone. The Hateno Dye Shop can make other alterations besides color change.
Fast travel is limited to once per day. Completed shrines are the fast travel points and the map builder. Shrines also act as a launchpad. Maps are unavailable in enemy territory. This prevents an absolute frenzy to one location when the locations of Zelda or Ganondorf are revealed. Fast travel cannot be done inside enemy territory except to exit. Entering is not allowed.
The new type of Goo called Bliss will he introduced. It is the glowing yellow version of Gloom. Those in Zelda's Faction will experience healing in Bliss while those in Ganondorf's faction will be hurt by Bliss. There will also be a new food called Light Clumps. They offer Bliss Warding for Ganondorf's Factions, but are poison to Zelda's Faction. Dark Clumps are poisonous to Ganondorf's faction. It will cause poison damage if used as a weapon such as fused to an arrow or a melee weapon.
Powers of Purah pads for Zelda's Faction and Astor pads for Ganondorf's faction include Ultrahand, Fuse, Autobuild, Ascend, Rewind, Stasis, and the three new abilities: Grow, Shrink, and Arrow Prefusion. They also act as phones to communicate with other players over a distance.
Playable races to Zelda's faction.
Hylian: Level 3 Stealth Unarmed ability is Earthwake. Sprint upon pressing B. Material drops upon defeat: femurs and ears.
Rito: Level 2 Cold Resistance Unarmed ability is Gust Flight upon pressing B. No stamina is consumed when gliding, but stamina is consumed when obtaining lift. Material drops upon defeat:Beaks and wings.
Goron: Level 2 Fireproof Unarmed ability is Charge. Rolling upon pressing B. Cannot swim, but can walk on bottom of water. Cannot ride horses except giant ones. Material Drops upon defeat are back shells and hands.
Zora: Level 3 Swim Speed. Unarmed ability is Water Slash. Sprinting upon pressing B on land, super speed swimming in water. Cannot drown, even when stamina is depleted. Can swim underwater. Material Drops upon defeat: Head and arm fins.
Gerudo: Level 2 Heat Resistance. Unarmed ability is Riju's Fury. Sprinting upon pressing B. Materials dropped upon defeat: arm bones and rib cages.
Playable characters to Ganondorf's faction.
Bokoblin: Level 3 Speed Up. Unarmed ability is charge. Sprint upon pressing B. Materials dropped on defeat: horns and fangs.
Moblin: Level 3 Bliss Warding Resistance. Unarmed ability is Ground Pound. Sprint upon pressing B. Cannot ride horses except giant ones. Materials dropped upon defeat: horns and fangs.
Lynel: Attack Up Level 3. Unarmed ability is Fire Breath. Dash upon pressing B at the cost of one full stamina wheel. Cannot ride horses, shield surf, or paraglide, or climb. Materials dropped upon defeat: Sharp horn and blunt horn.
Lizalfo: Shock Resistance Level 3 Unarmed ability is Water Ball Spit. Sprint upon pressing B on land, super speed in water. Cannot drown even when stamina is depleted. Can swim underwater. Materials dropped upon defeat: horns and fins.
Gibdo: Defense Up Level 3. Unarmed ability is Sandstorm. Flight upon pressing B. No stamina consumed when gliding, but stamina is consumed when obtaining lift. Materials dropped upon defeat: ribcage and wings.
Ganondorf, Zelda, Link, and Dark Link all have 40 hearts, three stamina wheels, and all max level buffs. All their stock weapons are unbreakable. Melee weapons do 100 damage unfused, bows do 50 damage, and shields have 90 Shield Guard.
In game communication is avaliable. A USB keyboard can be plugged into the Nintendo Switch. Voice chat is also available. Since all Gerudos must be female and all Gorons must be male, there is also an AI voice changer you can use to sound like your opposite gender. Not that a wrong gender sounding voice is unacceptable. It can also be used to personalize your voice for your other characters if you choose.
All forageable materials respawn every midnight in the Pacific time zone because that is where Nintendo of America is located.
Players can buy, sell, donate, or trade items at their own agreed price. To prevent inflation, there will be only 2 billion rupees in the game. The prices in shops will be adjusted by AI in a supply and demand algorithm.
Local 2 player splitscreen is available.
There will be robot factories where people can assemble their own robots that are AI controlled to hunt down enemies.
There will be a real estate system. Players can buy and sell land and houses. They can design their own homes and store any excess items there.
Champions and Divine Beasts
Whomever has the most kills within that race is labeled the Champion. Each Champion is rewarded with a mansion that has its own armory, storage space, and garage for their own Divine Beast. Only Champions may use Divine Beasts. Kills made while piloting a Divine Beasts do not count towards your kills to keep your position as a Champion or to play as Link or Dark Link because Divine Beasts are overpowered. The Divine Beasts include the ones from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and more for Hylians, and all of Ganondorf's faction.
Divine Beast Vah Epona: The Divine Beast that is a horse. Piloted by the Hylian Champion.
Divine Beast Vah Boko: The Divine Beast that is a boar. Piloted by the Bokoblin Champion.
Divine Beasts Vah Ursus. The Divine Beasts that is a bear. Piloted by the Moblin Champion.
Divine Beast Vah Leonis. Divine Beast that is a lion. Piloted by the Lynel Champion.
Divine Beast Vah Saurian. Divine Beast that is a serpent. Piloted by the Lizalfo Champion.
Divine Beast Vah Noctis. Divine Beast that is a bat. Piloted by the Gibdo Champion.
Kill Counts against AI based enemies do not count for being a Champion, Link, or Dark Link.
Death
Upon dying, another race within your faction must be chosen. Your other unplayed races will join you as avatars. The avatars can take damage and be defeated. Food can be used to heal Avatars. Avatars can be double teamed to use unarmed ability. Avatars have unbreakable stock weapons. Avatars can be healed with food. Upon the defeat of all five races, all can respawn. Upon your defeat you lose 1 of your weapons, bows, and shields for any surrounding players to grab. You will also lose 10 materials chosen at random.
New items Goron Bow: Normal arrows into fire arrows automatically.
Light Clump: Bliss Warding food. Poisonous to Zelda's faction.everything isthmus.
Armor of the Depths (Light Version): Bliss Warding armor for Ganondorf's faction.
Ice shoes: Freezes the ground with each step. Allows for walking on water and lava.
Iron Boots: Makes wearer heavy. Allows for walking on floor of water or to stay put in strong wind.
Cockpit: Zonai device that encases user. Possible uses can include the build for submarines. Also allows for shielding for vehicles.
Oxygen Tank: Zonai devices for extra air. Can be used for scuba diving or for additional air for submarine builds.
Gibdo Bow: Normal arrows turn into shock arrows automatically.

2024.05.21 19:52 Reasonable_Bobcat_79 Can someone help me for my homework, I am desperate rn

As a lab project or homework, the supervisor gave me and my teammate a game to write in assembly. The conditions are very hard and the game is ridicuolus. But we have to do. Even chatgpt couldn't. I'll be so glad if someone help me. Here is the conditions: · Create a 80 × 25 character game screen. You are given a bird image in bird.txt Lile. Image is divided six pieces and matched with the dice numbers as 1 vase. 2 legs 3 body 4 left wing 5 right wing 6 head · The bird image must be completed starting from the vase and next piece must be connected to the image on screen. For example, there is no piece in the screen, players must roll dice until 1 comes. When pieces 1 and 2 are on the screen, next piece can only be piece 3. After piece 3 is completed, pieces 4, 5, and 6 can be placed on the image since all three are connected with piece 3. · The player uses space key to roll the dice. · The player’s aim is to complete the bird Lirst. · During the play, a score box which contain the real-time score has to be displayed to the player. · Scoring: ↓ completer of the bird gets 1 pt. · The game is over when bird image is completed 3 times. The high score player wins the game. · If the winner is one of the human player, the winner name is displayed on a blank screen as ”The Winner is .......” with all capital letter player name. · If the winner is computer, ”Nice try, better luck next time” is displayed on a blank screen. · If a player wins Lirst two rounds, third round is skipped and the winner is displayed. · There should be a menu which contains ↓ Single Player ↓ Enter the Player name : ↓ Two Players ↓ Enter the Player 1 name : ↓ Enter the Player 2 name : ↓ Credits (show your name/surname, and ID on the screen.) · Interface should be deLined with 80x25 characters 16 color text mode (Video Mode 03H for INT 10H). · When the code is assembled executable format should be an .EXE Lile, so use EXE template for your project. (Not .COM or .BIN Lile) · The assembly code Lile should include all the libraries it may call. The libraries that are already in emu8086 (i.e. in Llat assembler) may not be included and directly called. · The source code should be assembled in emu8086. (i.e. Llat assembler) · The application should not get stuck in any unnecessary inLinite loops. · Program should be able to terminated with ESC key on keyboard in any time and return to operating system successfully. (Optionally a Close button can be added to interface.)

2024.05.21 19:48 Born_Dragonfly1096 Could you rank these metroidvanias based on my preferences?

Update: Thanks for all the suggestions! Btw, I forgot to put Grime as my only S tier game! A grave oversight on my part!
I really like soulslikes for their satisfying combat, variety of weapons, character progression and lack of boring segments (e.g. unskippable cutscenes).
I'm now looking for metroidvanias to play that give me a similar feeling but not sure which ones are really worth playing the most.
I have played a few so far. Here's how I would rank them:
Here's a list of suspected soulslike metroidvanias. Could you help me rank them? (Please use a numbered list or S/A/B/C/D/F ranking). Feel free to add any new games I haven't played to this list.
P.S. I play on Keyboard so it would nice to include your optimal keybinds for these games too. I usually struggle with the defaults and sadly don't have a controller at the moment

2024.05.21 19:44 oreosss Another post to see if we can solve the PC stuttering issues. Really hoping to sort this out before Akuma drops.

**** SOLVED ****
Thanks to salivarytung - I did the following, downloaded:
https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_log_view.html
and found that some USB device was constantly getting unplugged and re-plugged. Turns out, it was my USB-C DAS Keyboard with a dongle. I'm off to get a new keyboard, but can report that now SF6 runs smooth as hell!
Thanks again salivarytung !
I'm at my wits end. I've seen lots of posts after googling with many people with the same problem, some reasonable suggestions but nothing has worked (see below for everything that's been done).
The symptom is - regardless of graphics (low, medium, high) or internal resolution being set to 1 and the game looking like utter crap, it can't maintain a 60fps.
The menus itself run buttery smooth (as to be expected) and run at 120 FPS.
All other games that I play (Helldivers 2, Tekken 8, Against the Storm, etc.) all perform very well as to be expected from my build.
Here are my specs:
  • Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
  • Intel Core i9 10900X @ 3.70GHz
  • 64.0GB DDR4 @ 1600MHz (16-20-20-38)
  • ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX X299-E GAMING II
  • 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (NVIDIA)
Nothing is overclocked. All temps are perfectly fine.
Here are the steps that I've taken:
  1. Turned on perform shading within the game options
  2. Disabled all Steam Input
  3. Disabled Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator in Device Manager
  4. Formatted my computer
  5. Downgraded to Nvidia 536.40 (currently using this at the moment)
  6. Downgraded to Nvidia 540.xx (forgot but it was in a thread)
  7. Upgraded to latest graphics driver
  8. Verified all files on steam
  9. Unplugged any other devices.
  10. Created a new user profile to ensure it wasn't a shared program
  11. Moved the game to the same NVME drive as my OS
  12. Uninstalled and reinstalled on both NVME drives (my games drive and OS drive)
  13. Loaded every single character and every single map twice.
  14. Changed who was managing VSync (sf6, nvidia, and rivatuner)
  15. Disabled Xbox game bar
  16. Disabled steam controller drivers.
As you can see, I've tried almost everything - and all I can hope for now is that the Akuma patch comes with some necessary fixes that Capcom hasn't acknowledged, but that seems very unlikely.
Any help is truly appreciated, as well as people who are suffering from the same problem to speak up.
Edit:
Added 2 more things that I did that I forgot.

2024.05.21 18:59 VinnieONeill Never Again Logitech

I've been a loyal Logitech custome for nearly 20 years, going back to my MX518 in 2005. A mouse I used for over a decade until I upgraded to the G502 Lightspeed. I even upgraded that to the G502 Lightspeed Wireless because I loved it so much. But I've had constant problems with that wieless G502 and my currrent G613 wirreless keyboarrd and my prrevious logitech keyboarrds before that. Then on top of all that, build quality issues on my Prro X headset.
My 502 Lightspeed Wireless has issues with the right click acting as if I've stopped prressing it when I haven't. Significantly affects my ability to raid in WoW because holding right click is how you spin you camera instead of your character. You've likely alrready noticed the issue I'm having with my G613 keyboard. My "RR" key will either not rregister at all when I press it or else it will register twice. I've left in most of the typos related to that issue in this post for all to see. My "1" key also requirres seveal presses to get it to rregisterr as well. Which is the exact same reason I replaced my previous Logitech keyboard with my currrent one. (Can't rrember the exact model numberr off the top of my head) I just blamed the issues with that last keyboarrd on age but now that my second keyboarrd with the same Romer G switches is having the exact same problem of keys either not rregisteing o rregisterring multuiple times, it's obvious a defect with the harrdwarre.
I don't want to turn this into a book to explain all the other prroblems I'm having with Logitech products, like mym Pro X headset. I'd literrally be writing all day if I listed everything. the TLD is the quality of Logitech products is not worrth thei cost. I'll be using a differrent brand moving forwarrd. Nearly 2 decades of loyalty gone.

2024.05.21 18:46 Krautfleet Burnt out from just raiding every ID

Anyone else feel like this?
I have 6 chars to level, that's 12 Raid-IDs per week, two on every evening, just log on, grab a random PUG for Gnome or BFD, blast through in 30-40 mins with a beer in my keyboard-hand, swap character, do it again, and call it a day. How are you all keeping up with this?

Oh wait you guys are burning yourself out on exalted and honor grinds, just so you can have items that are a +2 stat stick that is going to be replaced in 4 8 weeks, and on the honor front, will keep doing this for another 3 phases.

HOT TAKE: ST is the raid you will do in P4, you dimwits, just like gnome is the place to be in this phase.

2024.05.21 17:04 kuzunoha13 convert canadian keyboard to us-english?

I recently bought a laptop with a "bilingual keyboard". I did not know what that meant but the pictures showed the standard us-english layout.
Unfortunately what I got was this: https://laptopkeys.com/uploads/2029_1484105734_flex-14.jpg
The extra characters on the keys don't bother me, but the issue is that the left shift key (on a us-english kb) is split into two different keys. The second, more disruptive issue is the enter key on the right is located 3 keys away from the 'colon' key (where I rest my pinky), instead of 2 keys away like I am used to. Since I am a touch typer, both these things are annoying.
However, since I got a pretty good deal on the machine, I'm willing to invest some time to work with it before I consider returning it. Is it possible to physically replace the keyboard with an us-english one? I see there is software to remap the keys, but I'm curious if anyone has experience with this long term.

2024.05.21 16:48 spaghettiinadrain Any digital keyboards available with this Farsi character?

Any digital keyboards available with this Farsi character?
The “Hamze.” My dad uses the Persian keyboard feature on his Windows computer, and the available Farsi keyboard does not include this character.
He doesn’t need the physical keyboard itself, but rather the software/digital keyboard that would allow him to input this character. He says that it’s available on Gmail, so he’s been typing his Farsi stuff there and then copy-pasting it into his documents, which isn’t very practical.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

2024.05.21 16:41 Grackle_Cackle [PC]['90s-'00s] Boxing Computer Chips Platformer

https://preview.redd.it/ayuj3fr2ks1d1.png?width=1983&format=png&auto=webp&s=65e9a326882590796f5085e020aef714a49d3a1b
Platform(s):
I'm only aware of the PC version
Genre:
Platformer
Estimated year of release:
90's ~ Pre-2003
Graphics/art style:
It was made around the time where instead of hand-drawn sprites, the sprites would be renders from 3D modeling programs of the time. Think of something like Sonic 3D Blast level of 3D.
There is no actual 3D in the game, it's all just 3D rendered sprites.
Notable characters:
The two protagonists who are just computer chips (CPU's?) whom I assume are brothers. One with red boxing gloves and blue boxing gloves.
Notable gameplay mechanics:
It's a basic platformer where you fight enemies and win the stage. Where some platforming contains puzzles(see image example?)
You can play with two players on a shared keyboard.
Other details:
It had an installation CD for the PC version and it's own cover.
I also remember being visibly confused when I saw playstation symbols on one of the puzzles and you'd have to punch a certain sequence to move the platform up, so there's a possibility for it being a Ps1 game but I never saw it.
I remember specifically being around 4-6 years old playing it, so details are really blurry!
EDIT: I'm a dope, it's 1:1 resolution! CRTs were big at the time.

2024.05.21 16:28 jpgerb Keyboarding for math symbols

Does anyone have a good resource for easy ways (in windows) to type out the different calc symbols? Like epsilon, delta, alpha, beta, etc. I can dig some out in the character map but I can’t find most of them. Or if there’s a keyboard “extension” out there that has those buttons that you can usb in to your computer in addition to your regular keyboard, that would be cool too.

2024.05.21 16:18 Affectionate_Box1293 Keyboard

I noticed while during my first Duolingo Esperanto lesson that not all the characters are available on iOS - such as the ĝ. How would I do this on iOS (is there a trick or a specific keyboard I should be using)?
Many thanks.

2024.05.21 15:56 yoloswagtailwag A few semi-noob questions. I'm 140 hours in.

  1. I see on my pause menu a code, I realize its a 'enter your code to play this level again' code. But where do I actually enter this code to replay the level?
  2. Why does the tear rate cap at 5? And if it does, is extra tear rate literally pointless?
  3. How are 'tiers' decided? Like who decided 'The D6' is Q4 and Cursed Eye is T0? The Mod Maker? Edmund? The wiki?
  4. Do some mods prevent progression/achievements? Like mods that are deemed OP or completely change the game i.e you are now a car - vroom.
  5. Are any achievements locked behind co-op? Do I need to at some point, play with someone locally in multiplayer?
  6. How do I unlock tainted characters?
  7. Why does the Greed Slot Machine get blocked after just a few coin inserts? Like sometimes I can't even insert 15 coins.
  8. Is it better to play on controller vs keyboard? I been using Controller (dpad + XYAB xbox default) but I wonder if kb or analog is superior? I am getting to the point where I am sucking a lot unless I get really OP items.
  9. Where does the 'Chaos Deniers in Shambles' meme come from? I see it a lot, and its funny, that and 50/50 it either happens or it doesn't. But I found some posts here from 2 years ago, and it was a thing even then. So where did it originate from?
thanks, sorry if any of these are retarded questions
