Lease deals

2024.05.21 22:33 gas_man_95 Lease deals

I’ve seen low leases advertised but always need like 7k down. Once you get to 0 down it’s usually 850 plus taxes on an R1t w bigger battery. I’m looking for a 2023 dual with large or better and maybe a nicer interior. Has anyone gotten a lease lower than 800-850? I saw a few posts with lower rates, but will talking with a guide do anything? Would waiting after May open things up or hurt ? Seems like they want to get rid of them before the retool but will they make even better deals or just cut the loss and have no more deals? I know it might be speculation but any thoughts are appreciated.

I'll update this as I go. Please check back when you can and point out errors if you can find any.

GameStop (GME) Deep Dive (DD)

Hey Apes! 🦍🚀
Let's dive into a comprehensive analysis of GameStop (GME), covering key factors that could influence the stock price, technical analysis, potential catalysts, market sentiment, and important dates. This DD aims to provide a well-rounded understanding of what might impact GME in the near future.

Potential Failure of the LULD Mechanism and Its Impact on a MOASS

The Limit Up-Limit Down (LULD) mechanism is designed to prevent extreme volatility by setting upper and lower price bands for stocks. However, in certain scenarios, this mechanism can fail, potentially leading to the Mother of All Short Squeezes (MOASS). Here’s how this could happen, along with the mathematical implications.

How the LULD Mechanism Can Fail

  1. Extreme Market Volatility:
    • Rapid Successive Halts: During periods of extreme volatility, the price of a stock like GME can hit the upper limit repeatedly, causing successive trading halts. This can exacerbate panic and volatility rather than calming the market.
    • Example: If GME’s price rapidly moves from $100 to $150 within a short period, hitting multiple LULD halts, it can create a feedback loop of volatility.
  2. Algorithmic Trading and High-Frequency Trading (HFT):
    • Algorithmic Pressure: High-frequency trading algorithms can push prices rapidly, triggering the LULD bands frequently. If these algorithms continue to trade aggressively, they can cause more volatility.
    • Market Manipulation: There’s a theoretical risk that traders could manipulate prices by coordinating trades to trigger LULD bands, although such actions are illegal.
  3. Technical Glitches:
    • System Failures: Technical issues or outages can disrupt the LULD mechanism. If trading systems fail during high volatility, it could lead to unmanaged price spikes.
  4. Market Fragmentation:
    • Inconsistent Application: With trading occurring across multiple venues, discrepancies in how LULD bands are applied can lead to inconsistent trading halts and market confusion.

Impact on MOASS

  1. Short Covering and Buy Pressure:
    • Short Interest: If GME has a high short interest (e.g., 64.37 million shares shorted), a rapid price increase can trigger margin calls for short sellers. They will be forced to buy back shares to cover their positions, adding to the buying pressure.
    • Example Calculation:
      • Initial Price: $20
      • Short Interest: 64.37 million shares
      • Price Increase: If the price increases to $100, short sellers might need to cover, buying back 64.37 million shares.
  2. Buying Pressure Dynamics:
    • Mathematics of Covering:
      • If short sellers need to cover 64.37 million shares and the average daily trading volume is 10 million shares, it would take 6.437 trading days to cover without additional buying pressure.
      • However, in a MOASS scenario, buying pressure can skyrocket, reducing the time frame significantly.
  3. Example Scenario:
    • Price Movement and Halts:
      • Day 1: Price moves from $20 to $50, triggering multiple LULD halts.
      • Day 2: Price moves from $50 to $100 due to continued buying pressure and short covering.
      • Mathematical Implication:
      • Short sellers covering 64.37 million shares at an average price of $75 would need $4.828 billion.
      • If the price moves to $200 due to continued pressure, the required funds double to $12.874 billion for covering the same short interest.

Potential for Exponential Price Increase

Conclusion

The failure of the LULD mechanism during periods of extreme volatility, driven by high-frequency trading and market manipulation, can lead to a significant short squeeze. The mathematical implications show how rapid price increases and forced short covering can create a feedback loop, potentially leading to a MOASS. Understanding these dynamics helps investors anticipate potential market movements and the limitations of volatility contols.

Key Factors Influencing GME's Stock Price

  1. Fundamental Analysis
    • Earnings Reports: GME's quarterly earnings can significantly impact the stock price. The next earnings report on June 5, 2024, is crucial. Strong financial performance or strategic announcements can boost investor confidence.
    • Revenue and Profitability: GME has reported $5.27 billion in revenue over the past 12 months with a net income of $6.70 million. Monitoring these indicators is essential for long-term valuation.
    • Debt Levels: ### Debt-to-Equity Ratio Calculation
Debt-to-Equity Ratio
Debt-to-Equity Ratio = Total Debt / Total Equity Debt-to-Equity Ratio = 34.6 million / 1,267.2 million Debt-to-Equity Ratio = 0.027

Summary

Explanation

The debt-to-equity ratio decreased from 0.045 to 0.027 due to GameStop's efforts to reduce its debt while maintaining its equity base. This lower ratio indicates a stronger equity position and less reliance on debt.

Current Creditors

GameStop's current debt includes a French term loan, part of their short-term and long-term debt obligations.
  1. Technical Analysis
    • Support and Resistance Levels: Key support levels are around $20, while resistance levels are between $50 and $60. Breaking through these levels can indicate potential price movements.
    • Volume: High trading volumes can signal strong investor interest. Monitor volume spikes for potential price actions.
    • Patterns: Watch for technical patterns like the descending triangle, which is typically bearish. However, a breakout above resistance could indicate a bullish reversal.

Adjusted Float and Short Interest

Outstanding Shares: 306.19 million Minus DRS: 75.5 million Minus Institutional Holdings: Approximately 87.17 million Minus Insider Holdings: Approximately 61.46 million + Ryan Cohen's Holdings (36.847 million)
Adjusted Float Calculation: 306.19 million (Outstanding Shares) - 75.5 million (DRS) - 87.17 million (Institutional Holdings) - (61.46 million + 36.847 million) (Insider Holdings including Cohen's) = 45.213 million
Short Interest Percentage: (64.37 million / 45.213 million) * 100 ≈ 142.3%

Potential Use of Warrants and Preferred Stock

Issuing Warrants: - Concept: GameStop could issue warrants to shareholders as a dividend, e.g., 1 warrant per 7 shares owned. - Benefit: This incentivizes shareholders and provides potential to buy shares at a favorable price, creating scarcity in common stock.
Preferred Shares: - Concept: Issuing preferred shares can offer fixed dividends and have priority over common shares in liquidation. - Impact: Preferred shares require board approval and SEC filings, potentially affecting the market and short sellers by reducing the float of common shares.

Impact of 45 Million New Shares

Response to the Theory on GME's Recent S-3 Filing:

What’s Happening:

  1. S-3 Filing History:
    • GameStop filed a Form S-3 to potentially issue up to 1 billion shares, with 300 million currently outstanding. This is similar to a move they made in December 2020 before the January 2021 short squeeze. The S-3 allows GameStop to register securities quickly and respond swiftly to market conditions.
    • Source: www.investing.com

Why This Matters:

  1. Two Possible Outcomes for Shorts:
    • Accept the Offer: Shorts could buy the offered shares, admitting their positions and potentially converting to longs.
    • Decline the Offer: If shorts don’t accept, it exposes the extent of their naked short positions, revealing potential fraud.

Strategic Implications:

  1. Regulator Signal:
    • This filing signals to the SEC that GameStop is willing to resolve the situation constructively, placing the onus on shorts to reveal their positions. This strategic move puts pressure on shorts and highlights the transparency and compliance of GameStop’s management.

Relevant Data and Comparisons:

  1. Historical Context and Data:
    • December 2020 Example: Before the January 2021 short squeeze, GameStop made a similar filing. The shorts didn’t cover, leading to a massive price surge. For instance, the stock price skyrocketed from around $20 to an intraday high of $483 on January 28, 2021.
    • Current Short Interest: As of May 2024, GME’s short interest remains high, with 64,373,343 shares short, representing 20.55% of the float. This high short interest indicates a significant potential for another short squeeze if the shorts are forced to cover.
    • Sources: www.tradingview.com, www.investing.com
  2. Market Reactions and Patterns:
    • Volume and Price Data: Recent high trading volumes and price surges, such as GME’s rise to $80 in pre-market trading, suggest strong market reactions to strategic filings and movements. This pattern mirrors past events and indicates potential future volatility.
    • Source: www.tradingview.com

Comparisons to Other Companies:

  1. Tesla (TSLA):
    • Similar Scenario: Tesla faced significant short interest and skepticism but managed to drive its stock price up through strong financial performance and strategic moves. Retail investor support played a crucial role, forcing shorts to cover and leading to a massive short squeeze. For instance, Tesla's stock price increased from around $50 in 2019 to over $800 in 2021.
    • Result: Tesla's market cap increased substantially, showcasing the power of strategic corporate actions combined with retail investor momentum.
  2. Volkswagen (VW) 2008:
    • Historical Short Squeeze: Volkswagen became the world’s most valuable company briefly in 2008 during a short squeeze when Porsche revealed it had a majority stake in VW. This forced short sellers to cover their positions at significantly higher prices, causing the stock price to soar from around €210 to over €1,000 within a few days.
    • Impact: The stock price soared, illustrating the potential power of strategic moves and market reactions, similar to what could happen with GameStop if shorts are forced to cover.

Conclusion:

This isn’t about diluting shares but offering shorts a way out and proving to regulators that GameStop is handling this responsibly. Whether shorts accept or decline, their actions will reveal the extent of their positions, potentially leading to a significant market impact.

GameStop recently authorized the issuance of up to 45 million new shares. Here's the potential impact on the stock and short interest:
  1. Dilution Effect:
    • Outstanding Shares Increase: The total outstanding shares would increase from 306.19 million to 351.19 million if all 45 million shares are issued.
    • Adjusted Float Calculation: ``` 351.19 million (New Outstanding Shares)
      • 75.5 million (DRS)
      • 87.17 million (Institutional Holdings)
      • (61.46 million + 36.847 million) (Insider Holdings including Cohen's) = 90.213 million ```
  2. Revised Short Interest Percentage: (64.37 million / 90.213 million) * 100 ≈ 71.37%

Upcoming Key Dates

Recent Technical Analysis Insights

Support and Resistance Levels: - Support: Key support levels for GME appear around $20. These levels provide a base where the stock has historically found buying interest. - Resistance: Significant resistance levels are around $50-$60. Breaking through these levels could indicate further upward momentum.
Volume Trends: - High trading volumes during the January 2021 short squeeze indicate strong market interest. Monitoring volume can help gauge the strength of price movements.
Technical Patterns: - Descending Triangle: The recent chart shows a descending triangle pattern, which is typically bearish. However, a breakout above the resistance line could signal a reversal and potential price increase.

Projected Movements

Short Squeeze Potential: - High Short Interest: With 64.37 million shares shorted, any significant buying pressure could trigger a short squeeze, driving the price up dramatically.
Upcoming Catalysts: - Earnings Report on June 5, 2024: Positive earnings or strategic announcements could boost investor confidence and drive the stock price higher. - Regulatory Deadlines on May 24 and May 31, 2024: Increased transparency and regulatory compliance could impact market dynamics. LEAPS and Other MOASS Theories

LEAPS (Long-Term Equity Anticipation Securities): - Concept: LEAPS are options with expiration dates longer than one year. They can be used by investors to gain leveraged exposure to GME's price movements over a longer period. - Impact: If retail investors continue to buy LEAPS, it can create significant upward pressure on the stock price as market makers hedge their positions by buying the underlying stock.
Preferred Shares and Warrants: - Issuance of Preferred Shares or Warrants: GME could issue preferred shares or warrants to shareholders, creating additional buying pressure as these instruments are exercised.
Naked Short Selling and Regulatory Compliance: - May 24, 2024: Deadline for resolving all outstanding material inconsistencies for FINRA CAT reporting, increasing market transparency and potentially impacting short selling practices. - January 2, 2025: Implementation of new SEC rules, which could further enhance market transparency and impact short interest reporting.

New Data: Ryan Cohen's Insider Transactions

Insider Transactions: - Ryan Cohen: Recent Form 4 from 2023 filing shows Cohen acquired 253,204 shares at $22.2485 and 190,638 shares at $22.9075. Total shares beneficially owned after transactions are 36,657,204 and 36,847,842 respectively.

Conclusion

While predicting GME's exact price movements is challenging, several factors suggest potential for upward movement: - High Short Interest: Potential for a short squeeze. - Technical Indicators: Key support levels and potential breakout patterns. - Market Sentiment: Positive retail investor activity and upcoming catalysts. - LEAPS and Other MOASS Theories: Additional strategies like LEAPS and preferred shares could contribute to upward pressure.

Theoretical MOASS (Mother of All Short Squeezes) and Potential Prices for GME

Understanding the potential outcomes of a MOASS for GameStop (GME) involves several key factors and calculations. Here, we'll break down some of the critical components that could influence the theoretical prices during a MOASS.

Key Factors

  1. Short Interest and Float: The higher the short interest relative to the float, the more pressure on short sellers to cover their positions, potentially driving the price up.
  2. Buy-In Pressure: Retail investors holding and buying more shares can create scarcity, driving the price higher as shorts scramble to cover.
  3. Market Dynamics and Liquidity: As the price rises, liquidity becomes a significant factor. Higher prices may lead to increased volatility and rapid price swings.

Short Interest and Float Calculation

Using the current data:
Outstanding Shares: 306.19 million Minus DRS: 75.5 million Minus Institutional Holdings: Approximately 87.17 million Minus Insider Holdings: Approximately 61.46 million + Ryan Cohen's Holdings (36.847 million)
Adjusted Float Calculation: 306.19 million (Outstanding Shares) - 75.5 million (DRS) - 87.17 million (Institutional Holdings) - (61.46 million + 36.847 million) (Insider Holdings including Cohen's) = 45.213 million
Short Interest: 64.37 million shares

Theoretical MOASS Price Calculation

The theoretical price during a MOASS can vary widely based on the demand for shares and the willingness of retail investors to hold their positions. Here are a few scenarios to consider:

Scenario 1: Moderate Short Covering

Scenario 2: High Short Covering Pressure

Scenario 3: Extreme MOASS Scenario

Important Considerations

  1. Regulatory Impact: Changes in regulations, such as those from the SEC or FINRA, could impact the dynamics of short selling and buying pressure.
  2. Market Sentiment: Market sentiment and external factors like news, earnings reports, and strategic announcements can significantly impact the stock price.
  3. Psychological Factors: The psychological impact on both retail investors and institutional players can lead to irrational price movements, either upwards or downwards.

Conclusion

Predicting the exact price during a MOASS is challenging due to the many variables involved. However, understanding the key factors and potential scenarios can provide a framework for what might happen. Stay informed, and always be cautious with your investments.

True Total Monthly Expenses: $4,602

Housing Prices in Major Cities

Here are the average home prices and their impact on affordability in some major cities:
  1. New York, NY (Queens):
    • Average Home Price: $1,091,100
    • Typical Monthly Mortgage: $5,795
  2. San Francisco, CA:
    • Average Home Price: $1,515,000
    • Typical Monthly Mortgage: $6,320
  3. Seattle, WA:
    • Average Home Price: $800,000
    • Typical Monthly Mortgage: $3,579
  4. Los Angeles, CA:
    • Average Home Price: $900,000
    • Typical Monthly Mortgage: $3,840
  5. Austin, TX:
    • Average Home Price: $575,000
    • Typical Monthly Mortgage: $2,450

Additional Cost Increases: Food, Gas, and Car Prices

1. Food Prices: - Food prices in the U.S. have increased significantly, with the average cost of groceries being $416 per person per month (https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/finance/how-much-to-spend-on-groceries).
2. Gas Prices: - Gas prices have been volatile, with significant increases due to global events and supply chain disruptions. The average cost of gasoline is now around $3.50 per gallon, up from pre-pandemic levels.
3. Car Prices: - The cost of new and used cars has surged due to supply chain issues and increased demand. New car prices have increased by approximately 12% over the past year, while used car prices have seen even larger increases.

Inflation and Price Gouging

Inflation Impact: - Overall inflation has driven up the cost of living, impacting housing, utilities, food, and transportation. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) shows a significant rise in prices across all major categories.
Price Gouging: - During periods of high demand and low supply, some businesses have engaged in price gouging, further exacerbating the financial strain on consumers.

Taxation of a Dollar

When discussing the taxation process, it’s important to understand how many times a dollar is taxed before it is effectively reduced to zero through successive transactions.
1. How a Dollar is Taxed: - Initial Income Tax: Assume a marginal tax rate of 25%. From $1 earned, 25 cents goes to taxes, leaving 75 cents. - Subsequent Spending and Sales Tax: When the 75 cents is spent, assume a sales tax rate of 10%. This deducts 7.5 cents, leaving 67.5 cents. - Cycle of Transactions: This process repeats with each transaction. Each time the money changes hands, it is subject to additional taxation (income tax, sales tax, etc.).
2. How Many Times a Dollar Changes Hands: - Mathematical Model: The dollar's value after each transaction is ( Vn = V{n-1} \times (1 - t) ), where ( V ) is the value and ( t ) is the combined tax rate. - Effective Tax Rate: Assuming a combined effective tax rate of 35% (including various forms of taxation), we can calculate how many times a dollar changes hands before it is effectively reduced to zero. - Calculation: Using the formula ( V_n = V_0 \times (1 - t)n ), where ( V_0 ) is the initial dollar and solving for when ( V_n \approx 0 ): - If ( t = 0.35 ), then ( V_n = 1 \times (0.65)n ). - Solving for ( n ) when ( V_n \approx 0 ) (practically considered close to zero when it is less than 1 cent), we find that it takes approximately 10-12 transactions for the dollar to be effectively taxed to zero.

Why Budgets Don't Make Sense

Minimum Wage Earner: - The true total monthly expenses for a minimum wage earner exceed their after-tax income by $1,952. Even with shared housing and minimal expenses, they cannot afford basic living costs without significant financial assistance or multiple jobs.
Median Income Earner: - While the estimated and true budgets balance, they do not leave much room for unexpected expenses or significant savings. Housing and utility costs consume a significant portion of the income, limiting financial flexibility.
Average Income Earner: - Similar to median income earners, the estimated and true budgets balance but are very tight. High housing and utility costs significantly constrain the ability to save or spend on discretionary items.

Conclusion

Comparing these budgets highlights the stark differences in financial flexibility between minimum wage earners and those earning median or average incomes. Minimum wage earners face significant challenges in meeting basic living expenses, particularly housing and utilities. Even median and average income earners experience tight budgets when purchasing homes near major cities. Addressing housing affordability requires a multifaceted approach, including policy interventions, financial support, and increased wages to ensure financial stability and quality of life for all income groups.

2024.05.21 22:07 Next-Obligation2998 Current Strategy for me is to buy in FFIE each month I am paid

I believe in the "Why" for this group and will invest between $800-$1000 each month. Looking at the comparison between FFIE and GME are very similar. I do think this company has a strong mission statement but is lacking in creating the revenue and progressing. With EV's, AI, and technology trending, and retail traders grouping to beat the hedges, FFIE is looking like a good bet for the long term. GME took 6-7 months. We only went in a week for FFIE. So I am just chilling and investing in the "Why" rather than focusing on the daily charts of the price. I do believe we could beat these hedge funds but it will take time and will take discipline for all of us together.

2024.05.21 22:02 Majestic-Speech-6066 didn't file 2022. Looking for tips.

Hi,
I worked last year as an employee and a freelancer under an LLC. I had never done that before, and only made $22k for the year, but I owe $3600. I saw that on Turbotax so i just panicked and never filed.
I filed my 2023 taxes, owed $800 as a W2 employee, making only $45k.
I have two questions. Is that a normal amount of taxes to pay for that income? I am in Arizona. Single male with no assets or capital gain entities.
What is the best way to file 2022 now and save as much money as possible? Is there any IRS programs that I can do that will help me pay less or a payment plan? How do I do this? is freetaxusa good if I worked as an employee and a contractor in the same year?
Thank you

2024.05.21 21:54 happybiscotti7834 Leaving a good job (and bad manager) for more money somewhere else?

I am having a huge dilemma, but it also seems like a no-brainer so I’d like some advice!
I have worked at a TINY (think 3-4 employees) law firm for about 11 months. I have previously worked in reception roles, but this is my first legal job and I really like it and I hope to go to law school one day. Since we are so small, I act as a receptionist, medical records clerk, admin assistant, etc. doing the work of at least two people and have learned so much more than I would’ve been able to at a large firm, especially getting paid $19 an hour (compared to $13-$15 for legal receptionists in the area)
Since starting there, I have known that I would leave and relocate to another state in September 2024. I have been saving up as much money as possible, but my job only offers 35 hours a week and no overtime. I like my work, and my work life balance is good, but i’m not saving as much as I’d like to be.
My manager is also extremely emotionally turbulent and snappy, which makes me very anxious day to day because I’m not sure how she will be emotionally. I’ve been reprimanded multiple times over things that were more of a group/organization failure than a personal one, and have been made to cry more than once out of frustration. She and our boss have a complicated relationship and without saying too much, I constantly feel like i’m reliving my parents divorce when I hear them whispering or arguing in their offices.
I was complaining to a family member about my boss’ behavior and just being exhausted from the drama at work and she said she would give me a job for the summer paying $20 an hour and offering overtime at her personal business. The schedule is flexible and is in reception, and she said working just a few months would be fine.
I feel like I should jump at this opportunity but it isn’t in my career field and is much more customer service heavy work vs sitting at my desk and listening to music while I file things. But it would potentially make me $800-$2000 more I could put towards moving.
Would I be dumb to not take this opportunity to make more money and escape a shitty manager? Would it look bad on my resume?
Is it shitty to leave before my one year mark just to work somewhere for a few months, even if I hate this workplace now?
please help!

2024.05.21 21:52 Furki1907 My Kali Linux went crazy today with updates, and I dont know why

Some people may hate what i will say now, but i do this maybe once per week to ensure my things are up-to date. I run this command:
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y && apt-get full-upgrade -y && apt-get dist-upgrade -y && apt-get autoremove -y
to ensure everything on my Kali Linux OS is on the latest version. I have nothing crazy running on it, so the small downtime i have with a manual reboot is no issue for me. In most cases, there are some updates, but today i got over 800!

2024.05.21 21:50 doitdan Move/clone Batocera boot drive.

I have searched a lot and found plenty of answers to “How do I clone batocera to my new larger drive” and that seems like there are a lot of options that are simple enough. I need to do almost the opposite.
I currently have an HP EliteDesk 800 with a 1TB 2.5” hdd. It runs pretty good. But I ordered a 128GB m.2 NVME to use as the boot drive instead. I want to keep my userdata on the hard drive.
What is the best way to get to having batocera boot disk on the NVME and keep my userdata folder on my existing hard drive?
My thought was to flash batocera image to the NVME drive, put that in the machine and set the boot order to NVME first, and then startup like a new instance and once running point batocera to the hdd drive for my userdata disk. But I have read that when you choose the disk for batocera userdata it will automatically write the needed file structure to the disk and I’m concerned it will overwrite my existing data.
Anyone done anything like this previously?
I guess I could copy everything off the existing drive and copy it back on after.
Or should I just leave it alone and keep running everything off the existing rust?

2024.05.21 21:43 GarlicBiscuits [WTS] [USA-IL] [H] Sony MDR-Z1R, Sennheiser HD-800, ZMF Sub 8xx Suede Pads + Co-Pilot Suede [W] PayPal G&S

[WTS] [USA-IL] [H] Sony MDR-Z1R, Sennheiser HD-800, ZMF Sub 8xx Suede Pads + Co-Pilot Suede [W] PayPal G&S
For sale are two headphones that I have very much enjoyed as complements to each other. The Z1Rs were purchased from a great AVExchange seller in August 2023, and the HD-800s from US Audio Mart in September 2023. I also have a few ZMF accessories from November 2023 that I barely used. Timestamp with extra photos for the headphones are here, and photos for the ZMF items are here.
1) The Z1Rs have an aftermarket headband cover to preserve the pleather underneath. The pads have also been cleaned and conditioned. They come with all stock accessories (6.35mm cable, 4.4mm cable, velvet case/box) and are in very nice condition overall. Asking $1,000.
2) The HD-800s are from a later production batch that reduced the lower treble peak from the original run and brought the sound closer to an 800 S. Pictured are very minor blemishes near the L/R lettering, but it's barely noticeable in person. The headband was replaced last year and is still in great condition, and the pads are practically new. All accessories are included except for the USB drive (6.35mm cable, velvet case/box, manual). Also included is a wonderful Arctic Core cable that is 6.5 feet and terminated in 4.4mm. Asking $775.
3) The ZMF 8xx pads and Co-Pilot have very little use overall. The ring mount on one of the pads cracked when I tried to take it off, but it should still snap back on without any problems. I can sell each individually, $40 for the 8xx pads and $30 for the Co-Pilot, but I would prefer to sell both together for $60.
All prices are through PayPal G&S (buyers don't pay extra fees) and shipped to the CONUS. I will ship the following day at the latest or the same day at the earliest. I am also not interested in any trades. Thanks!

2024.05.21 21:39 Natanater3000 Using Majority of Credit Line

Hi all,
I am a new credit card owner <1 year. Due to this being my first cc I only have a line of $1000. I'm going on this trip and am planning on spending about $7-800 on my cc. I ofc will pay it off on time. I've heard that using more than 30% of your line at a time, regardless of if you pay it off on time can negatively impact your credit score. Is this true, and if so should I not spend that much on the card?

2024.05.21 21:35 ghost_1251 Thinking about buying ... pull the trigger or wait a year?

Hi everyone. I'm a 24-year-old considering buying my first home. I'm wondering if I'm in good financial position to do so, or if I should wait a year to accumulate more in savings that I could put down on a home and/or increase my budget a little bit.
There is one home I currently have my eye on that is up for $359,000. In terms of cash on hand, I have approximately $86,000 spread across my checkings/HYSA/stocks right now that I'd be willing to spend on a down payment. The question, to me, is how much I should anticipate putting down on the home.
I've heard the rule of thumb that you should put down 10%, which I would be more than comfortable with, but I'm also seeing that might make me subject to PMI. It seems to me the threshold for avoiding that PMI is more like 20% ($71,800), which is doable with what I have on hand, but would only leave me with around $15,000 left over and would be a pretty small amount to have in my emergency savings.
It's also worth noting that as you can probably tell, I am currently not super educated in the home-buying process. Which I do plan to change in the coming weeks, but this is my starting point. Obviously, there is a lot of additional information needed to properly assess my situation, but for the sake of conciseness I will stop here and add context where needed. Any and all advice is appreciated, thanks!
EDIT: My income is probably good info. $6200 monthly / $74,440 yearly. Car payment + student loans = $700 monthly.

2024.05.21 21:34 Rangemaster75 Belgian Wit w/T-58 or Lallemand Wit

Hey all. Hoping someone has some insight. If not I’ll have to do some extra homework. I was saddled (no option to discontinue) with a higher ABV Wit (6.5) that we need to do all of twice a year. We were using WLP400 but frankly I had no repitch use and the cost was kinda pointless so we moved to Lallemand Wit and have been good with the results on that beer. I have finally convinced him to go more traditional 4.5ish summer version as I think it will do better as the original is more of some weird Belgian Strong Wit and the alcohol is more pronounced.
Q: I have heard T-58 is passable and decent in a lower ABV Wit. A bit restrained which might be fine for this. Anyone ever done a side by side or have thoughts. T-58 is $66 a brick and Lallemand Wit is more liken $220 and I need a couple bricks. Liquid is out at $800 for a pitch I will toss as a one and done.
Guidance please.

2024.05.21 21:24 Aldensnumber123 i have no good memories of school whatsoever

i have many mental issues that neither my family or my school ever tried to give me any support with and it made school complete hell.
i have autism and adhd and im trying to get diagnosed with ocd.
i couldn't focus in class or do any of the work im pretty sure i had one of the worse grades in the school. the stress fucked up my stomach and i had stomach problems every single day to the point i had to ask to use the toilet like 3 times in one 40minute class
i dident realy get along with anyone. i talked to some people but i only hung out with them once after school and never again.
people thought i was weird and either dident like me or dident care about me existing
someone even asked about me in school after i left and the person had no idea i was ever their even though i was their for 4 years
something made me very upset one day so i decided to just leave. i had to wait like 3 months until all the paperwork was signed and then i left.
i went to this course for a year it was nice but i dident learn much
tried collage and i left after 2 months because my stomach got worse again and i was again to stupid to do the work
went by the school for the first time in like 2 years and they got better chairs and everything. of course as soon as i leave they make the school
please dont say everyone hated school its a lie and im not going to be gaslight everyone always says how much they miss the good times they had with their friends and that it was the best times of their lives.
guess it will just keep getting worse forever. no one here can afford rent let alone me who gets 800 a month for disability. climate change is going to kill tens of millions of people in my life time and i cant do anything about it
it would be nice to at least have some good times to look back on. to bad i was just born with bad luck

2024.05.21 21:17 rosietherose931 Auto Rate increase after claim?

So a tree limb fell during a big storm and basically bounced off our truck and caused a bit of damage - drivable, but looks crappy. It wasn’t pristine before, but we’d like to get it repaired. We haven’t had a chance to get an estimate, but if both damaged panels are replaced that’s at least $800 in parts alone. We’re debating whether to make a claim through our insurance, concerned that even though it was through no fault of our own, our rates will get hiked. Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar happen and if their rates went up after making a claim.

2024.05.21 21:10 Zayzon Trading in Fold 4 but inner screen is damaged

I'm in South Florida and I have the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and my inner screen is cracked (due to the screen peeling up and opening the inner screen caused it to crack?) I want to upgrade to the Galaxy S24+ but i want to save as much money as possible. Memorial day is also coming up, so hoping there will be an even better deal on the phone.
Only the inner screen is damaged and the outer screen is perfectly fine nor is there damage to any other part of the phone.
I have the phone via ATT but I am switching to T-Mobile due to their switch plan for $800 rebate (which im using to pay for unlocking the phone early)
T Mobile says they will cover up to $800-$1000 for an eligible trade in for the fold 4 (but obviously mine is broken) but it only mentions that the front screen has to work (i assume for normal phones) so I wonder if i can trade in mine for the full value?
I read from this post that it worked? https://www.reddit.com/GalaxyFold/comments/18pum92/attempting_to_trade_in_damaged_fold_4_with_bad/
I dont think I have warrenty any more as its been over a year nor do I have any protection plan (I never bought one as I've never broken the screen of my previous non folding phones.
Samsung told me the repair would be $444 to $560 but I'd rather not pay that much if I can get it repaired for free or for cheap elsewhere, I read other people had gotten cheap repairs for under $50
I am also curious if I could add the ATT device care or whatever plan for $17/mo, have the phone fixed via Asurion and then cancel the plan so I dont have to pay for any additional months especially since im trading in the phone/leaving ATT
If anyone has any advice or information/has been though a similar situation and can help me with this predicament, I'd greatly appreciate it!
I will update the post with photos of the damage and any other info in a few hours when I have another device to take a photo of this one.

2024.05.21 21:07 Bubbly_Maybe7149 Suggestions for a lighting console, small/medium size shows

Hi there, I wanted to ask you all for some advice since we will probably upgrade our lighting console soon. (sorry if some terms are incorrect, english is not my first language)
Here's my background, so you can have an idea of where the console would be used: During summer I work as a sound technician with a small service, it's two main guys, me, plus some other freelancers when the need arises. We do mostly live music: bars, small festivals, some theater performance and music school recitals. On average I'd say there are 200 people in the crowd, but for some of the bigger jobs there could be a thousand or so. Over the years I've kind of become the one responsable for lighting, up until now I've used Luminair on the iPad and a DMX interface between the router and the lights. I don't necessarily dislike Luminair, but all things considered having a physical console and something a bit more reliable could be good, both for the clients and for me, not having to control all the lights always from a screen.
As far as lights are concerned usually we put down 4 led towers (all connected to the same control unit) in the back, a couple of led pars on the sides and two frontal halogen lights. Often we add some blinders and some led bars, for the bigger shows we bring some more pars and a couple of moving heads, we rarely elevate the lights on a truss.
The budget is not set in stone, but I've been looking for something around $2.000, not much more. I have no formal education on the subject, but I've been working on the field for about 8 years now and I'm willing to study and learn what I need to know to use the new interface.
Up until now the solutions that i found more interesting are: - ChamSys QuickQ 10: I've tried the 20 working with another service and I liked it enough, also the guy who uses it tells me that it's pretty reliable. - LighShark LS1: I'm intrigued by the effect generator, as far as I can tell it's a feature that the others lack. - SGM pilot 3000: ok this one wouldn't really be ideal, but a friend of ours has one and could sell it to us for something like $800.
tldr: do you have any experience with one of these three consoles? do you have suggestions for something in that price range?
ps: more often than not we set up the audio mixer on the side of the stage and we control it with an iPad, so if the lighting console could also be controlled remotely would be good.
