2024.05.22 00:44 Vyxz_ Can't play an xbox 360 game on my pc, but can on my xbox one console.
Hello everyone, so lately i've been trying to fix this issue but i realized i have no idea what im doing. 2 Days ago i bought the greatest game of all time (Peggle) on the Xbox website through my pc and it went through. However i am only able to download it from my xbox one and play it there, even though i couldve sworn at one point i saw two versions of the game, pc and console, yet I cant get it here. When i check the game page on the xbox website, it says i own it and i can "install to". But when i try to download it through the xbox app it doesnt even give me the option to buy the game, and only shows me that i can play it if i had game pass as always. Am i simply just not able to play it on my pc? My EA account is linked by the way, and if i check for peggle in there it gives me the option to buy it, again.
Sorry if i lack any information, I'm not sure what else to add on this post.

It's 2024, 4k is now the standard for consoles, PC's, videos, streaming etc. I cannot understand why hasn't IGN switched to 4k videos (specially reviews) on youtube.
Uploading in 4k doesn't necessarily mean all the footage needs to be native 4k, the benefits of uploading in higher resolution also come down to the better bitrate the videos can be encoded, and thus less artifacts when played (again, even if the content is 1440p or 1080p).
More often than not I'm also going back in time to watch older reviews from ps3 or xbox 360, and man those videos look BAD, specially due to the 720p very high compression encoding, not because those consoles looked like that (native video from those consoles looked indeed way WAY better). I get the feeling in 5-10 yeas time I'll be looking at today's 1080p videos the same way, when I could be enjoying them in 4k which by that time will still look fair in whatever screens we'll have on our desks.
In a gist, there is no reason to keep uploading in 1080p, most people have 4k screens, use 4k consoles and watch 4k videos. For the minority who still haven't made the switch, they'll also enjoy better bitrate on their 1440p screens (even mobile phones use this resolution nowadays). Also, it will make videos more future proof.
Please make the switch IGN, it is time.

Just as the title says. I recently got a really good condition rift cv1 from ebay and i heard from ppl through world hopping that the xbox kinect can technically do full body tracking. I heard its scuffed af but seems like a cheap way to experiment with w/o splurging on vive or slime trackers. Is this true and are there difference between the 360 and one kinect for this? I mostly just sit on my chair and mostly facing one direction. Thx!

Currently trying to run three instances of custom waw zombies, one keyboard and mouse, and two DualSense controllers using ds4windows to emulate xbox 360 controllers.
Keyboard and mouse instance creates fine, the first gamepad instance gets stuck in a loop of "Recovering Lost Device" in the plutonium console.
I saw in a previous reddit thread that disabling rumble in the d3d9.ini file, located in the specialk folder under the waw handler, would solve my issue. Sadly it did not.
Any help at all would be appreciated
EDIT: I just noticed that the "recovering lost device" loop is happening under the HOST plutonium console, and not player 2. I've never made it to player 3

Playing Super Mario Bros (Xbox Series / 8BitDo SN30 Pro) felt like the controller was dropping the connection a few times per second, causing jumps not to fire or the character to keep running after I stopped pressing the dpad. This didn't happen when using a wired controller.
I even tested the controllers with my laptop (BT 5.1) in Windows and Linux and found the same strange behavior. Is that just normal for Bluetooth controllers?
I've been using an el'cheapo 2.4GHz wireless mouse for ages and never encountered any weirdness, so I was wondering if it would be worth trying a 2.4GHz wireless controller? If not, I'll just buy a USB hub and a second wired controller for when my wife and I use the handheld on the TV. Wireless would be so convenient though!

2 SNS-001 Consoles For Parts/Not Working 2 For Parts/Not Working consoles that have been broken down, including one housing (has some chips/cracks), 2 motherboards, all components, however some are guaranteed to not work. The boards themselves may have additional issues beyond the removed chips, I have no way to test or check them. Neither of these motherboards work. Both of them were giving different graphical issues on the screen, so I thought I'd be clever and try to swap some chips around, but found out as I was doing it that I have no experience with it and was in way over my head. I do not know if there are working chips here to even create one working SNES, as far as I'm aware all of the graphics chips/etc. are bad. Pics here $35
