Hi there, This is an Australian house switch board. The “mains” breaker has overheated. I had the whole board replaced about 18 months ago. My friend who is not an electrician but works as an air conditioner installer said to me that when he looked at it closely that none of the wires were twisted nor did they have a cover on them before they were attached to the mains breaker. He said this would cause an “arc” and over heat. He said this is not a load issue as the wires would melt if they were over loaded and it is a case of poor workmanship by the installer not twisting the wires and not capping them. submitted by havinasquiz to electricians [link] [comments] I’ve not seen wire ends twisted on a board before - is it necessary? |

Reviews🔗Enhanced AR-15 Charging Handle from Armaspechttps://preview.redd.it/pm0adgbp3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a53027e033e0caad915b996eca0240a439474ea8 As an avid AR-15 enthusiast, I recently had the chance to try out the Armaspec Victory Charging Handle in Red. This charging handle stands out from the rest with its ambidextrous design that allows for easy operation and use from both hands. The enlarged handle latches make it a convenient and comfortable choice, and the integrated gas vents center force charging ensure optimal functionality. One of the key highlights of this charging handle is its seamless integration and compatibility with various rifles. I found it to be a smooth and easy-to-install part that did not require any additional modifications to fit my AR-15. The quality of the product is top-notch, as evidenced by the solid construction and well-engineered components. The centerforce charging system in particular is a game-changer, making it easier to cycle through rounds and providing a more efficient shooting experience. However, there were a few drawbacks to this charging handle that I couldn't overlook. The oversized handles may protrude a bit too much for some users, causing discomfort when the rifle is worn or carried for extended periods. Additionally, the enlarged latches may have a slightly looser fit compared to other charging handles, which could cause some users to feel a lack of secureness when handling the rifle. Overall, I would highly recommend the Armaspec Victory Charging Handle Red for anyone looking for an affordable yet high-quality charging handle option for their AR-15. Its smooth operation and easy handling make it a fantastic choice, even if you're not left-handed. The enlarged latches and gas vents further enhance its functionality and durability, making it a reliable and worthwhile investment for any shooter. Despite the minor drawbacks, I believe this charging handle is well worth the money and a great addition to an AR-15 build. 🔗Kydex IWB Holster for 1911 5" Government 45ACP with Rail Only Red Dot Optic Cuthttps://preview.redd.it/zjpddlwp3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c136f0d812c35c918d25b093e68cc87ed479d05c As someone who's been carrying a personal firearm for safety purposes, I'm always on the lookout for high-quality holsters that provide both comfort and security. This particular IWB Holster for 1911 5" Government 45ACP with Rail Only Red Dot Optic Cut caught my eye due to the customization options it provides. I decided to give it a whirl, and after using it for a week or so, I've formed a pretty solid opinion. First off, the holster fits the gun perfectly and feels like it's a custom-made piece for my handgun. The adjustable retention feature is a game-changer, allowing me to fine-tune the tension that the holster applies to my firearm. The adjustable ride and cant settings make for a truly versatile carrying solution—a definite plus in my book. One of the features I adore the most is the adjustable clip. Having eight different positions to choose from means I can place the holster anywhere on my belt, depending on the situation. This flexibility is crucial for someone who aims to stay concealed most of the time. The belt clip is quite secure, making cleaning draws a breeze. However, there were a couple of small issues I ran into with this holster. The protective sweat guard is a noble addition, but it can sometimes block the sight of my firearm, which can be a bit annoying during quick checks. My only other gripe is the fact that the belt clip can protrude a bit too much, catching on things and, at times, making the holster itself hard to conceal. All in all, based on my experience with this IWB Holster for 1911 5" Government 45ACP with Rail Only Red Dot Optic Cut, I found that it provides a comfortable, secure way to carry my firearm while taking advantage of the adjustability features it boasts. It's not without flaws, but it gets the job done for the most part. 🔗Carrying Handle for Laylax Nitro.Vo Long-Plaza Airsoft Replicahttps://preview.redd.it/hgtduo3q3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c7f999494673c273df7cfd105c244d09660b31a5 I recently had the opportunity to try out the Laylax Nitro. The design of the handle is sleek and unobtrusive, which was a pleasant surprise for such an essential accessory. It has proven to be very practical when I need to move the radio around or transport it to remote locations. However, one minor issue I encountered was the difficulty in securing the rubber feet onto the transceiver. The installation process was a bit tricky, but once I figured out the best way to get them in place, it wasn't much of a concern. Overall, the ICOM MB-123 handle provides a convenient and stylish solution to carrying and transporting the radio. It's a worthwhile addition to any ICOM radio enthusiast's collection. 🔗Stylish Kayak Carry Handles for All-Purpose Usehttps://preview.redd.it/vcatz98r3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=83f10e9dd470159ceb039f3c73e208eaeb5c87c5 Recently, I had the opportunity to use Wollcocer's Kayak Carry Handles as a replacement for my kayak's old handles. After struggling with slippery handles and struggling to lug my kayak onto my car, I was excited to see if these rubber handles could solve my problems. Upon installation, I found the handles to be very easy to mount, as the screws fit perfectly into my kayak's holes. The handles themselves were surprisingly ergonomic, featuring a well-designed contour grip that prevented them from slipping while I maneuvered my kayak. Despite their tough appearances, these handles turned out to be quite soft and flexible, which I appreciated during long kayaking trips. The rubber material also felt durable and long-lasting, something that had been lacking in my previous handles. On the downside, I did notice that the screws didn't come with washers, which would have added a bit of extra polish to the final result. However, overall, I was very pleased with my purchase and am eager to put these new kayak handles to the test during my next kayaking adventure! 🔗Fashionable Origami-Inspired Carry Handle for Crossbody Bagshttps://preview.redd.it/njs2pslr3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1db2891888450de2aa065933d0262fec52fa0726 I recently got my hands on the Miyako Handle, a unique cross-body bag that stands out thanks to its innovative Origami fabric folding technique. I've used it for quite some time now, and let me tell you, it's a real game-changer in the world of fashionable yet practical bags. The first thing that caught my attention was its sleek, elegant design. The combination of vibrant red dots with the elegant handle makes it a real showstopper. But it's not just about looks, this bag is incredibly versatile and functional. The Miyako Handle is a bit of a chameleon - it can transform from a stylish accessory into a practical carry solution seamlessly. It's designed with a single strap, which I initially thought would be a downside, but it's actually quite comfortable and convenient, especially when I'm on the go. However, one thing I did notice was that the strap could be a bit longer for my taste. While it works perfectly for a cross-body position, I found myself wishing for a bit more adjustability when it came to the length. Overall, I've been pretty impressed with the Miyako Handle. Its unique design and functionality make it a standout product that has certainly enhanced my everyday look. Despite the minor strap issue, I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a blend of style and practicality in their bag collection. 🔗SKB iSeries Small Red Dot Handle for Maximum Performance and Comforthttps://preview.redd.it/4yuvh9zr3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8809eee914fa2634f8392c5679ad44e5a1886f3 In my daily life, I've been using the SKB iSeries Small Replacement Handle in red overmold. The first thing that stood out to me is the comfort it offers. The cushioned overmolded handle provides a secure and comfortable grip, making it perfect for carrying my iSeries case around. The color-coded handle also adds an extra touch of convenience. With multiple cases in different colors, it can be difficult to keep track of which one I'm carrying. The red dot handle helps me quickly identify my case, saving me time and frustration. However, I noticed that the installation process was a bit tricky. It required some patience and precision to ensure the handle was securely attached to the case. If it were a bit easier to install, it would be even more enjoyable to use. Overall, the SKB iSeries Small Replacement Handle in red overmold is a durable and comfortable accessory for my iSeries case. It's easy to identify my case when I'm on the go, and the cushioned handle provides a secure grip. The only downside is the installation process, but once it's in place, the benefits outweigh the hassle. 🔗Carrying Handle for Yaesu FT-450D Transceivershttps://preview.redd.it/pp1awnas3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3aad3763cbe3a3bcafba2f61bed70fa6d0b41d84 The Yaesu MHG-1 Carry Handle is a must-have accessory for your transceiver, designed specifically for the FT-450D. You know how frustrating it can be, lugging around cumbersome enclosures without a proper handle? This rech109506 handle has been a game-changer. The first thing I noticed was the smooth finish. No more rough edges, just a seamless grip that's comfortable and secure. It's like having a red dot sight on your carry handle, making it so much easier to spot and grab when you're in a hurry. Of course, no product is perfect. Sometimes, the handle can be a little slippery when my hands are moist. But overall, the Stahlin Enclosure Carry Handle has been a reliable addition to my toolkit. And hey, in the world of electrical products, that's saying something! 🔗Strike Extended Latch Charging Handle for AR15/AR10 Rifleshttps://preview.redd.it/j1wnuy1t3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=41b9246a95c7674a4445a9deb57dcafdfd669f72 The Strike Industries ARCH-EL Charging Handle is an upgrade from the standard one that comes with your rifle. This hard-anodized charging handle not only looks good but works even better. The larger latch surface makes it more versatile, especially in challenging conditions, and the high-polished finish provides a smooth charging experience. Built to last, it's a great option if you're planning to invest in a high-quality, durable charging handle. It's worth mentioning, the charging handle might smell a bit rough initially after installation, you just need to give it a little break-in time and a cleaning for a smooth experience. The finish may also come off on the top and one side after minimal use, but overall, it's a great, affordable product that gets the job done. 🔗Mil Spec AR-15 Carry Handle Assemblyhttps://preview.redd.it/9tezcagt3d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5dfa8b30e33a71bdda7845232795078c9fb6ebbf I recently got my hands on the LBE Unlimited ARCHAS Mlspc, a Mil Spec carry handle assembly designed for the AR-15. This bad boy is made right here in the USA, which is awesome. When I took it out of the box, the assembly was pretty straightforward, and it fit my AR-15 like a glove. The build quality is sturdy, and it definitely feels like something that would last. One feature I loved was the inclusion of an American flag etched into the handle. It's a great patriotic touch. As for any downsides, the thumb screws and securing plate don't quite match the rest of the assembly in terms of color. However, I wouldn't say this is a deal-breaker. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this LBE Unlimited ARCHAS Mlspc. It's a solid product that's made with pride and quality in mind. But don't forget to factor in the slightly higher price tag, as it might not be the most budget-friendly option out there. Buyer's GuideWelcome to the buyer's guide for Carry Handle Red Dot. Reviews🔗Mustad Carolina Rig Fishing Hook Kithttps://preview.redd.it/mqhh1wsz1d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ed00f3de9abc1bfaf7117f96cbb0564e8275190 Using the Mustad Carolina Rig Assorted Fishing Hook Kit in my local river was a game-changer. The variety in sizes and materials of the hooks in the kit allowed me to test out different techniques with ease. They were well-made and sturdy, allowing me to catch several fish with just a few modifications to my lure. However, I encountered a slight challenge when trying to attach the weight to the hook. The connection wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped, and it took a bit more time to get it right. The kit also lacked instructions, which might have made this process easier for a beginner. Despite these small setbacks, the Carolina Rig Assorted Fishing Hook Kit made my fishing experience more enjoyable and versatile. Its array of hooks and additional accessories made it a valuable tool for both new and experienced anglers looking to spice up their fishing techniques. 🔗Ready-to-Fish Carolina Rig Fishing Kithttps://preview.redd.it/9hvovj402d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38be0babf9ba482364b1a7b403372325ee3b8c98 I've been fishing with the Carolina Ready Rig for a few weeks now and it's been a game changer. As a seasoned angler, I appreciate how effortlessly this rig eliminates the need for hunting around my tackle box for small components. Top Brass Tackle has really thought this through, from the precise brass weight to the no-fuss 10 mm glass bead. One aspect I particularly enjoy is how the design makes my fishing sessions much easier. No more struggling with bead placement or dealing with broken beads after a few casts. This rig is an excellent option for both novice and experienced anglers alike. Plus, the durability of the brass sinker and stainless steel wire leader makes it perfect for salt and freshwater fishing. The only small con was that initially, the shiny brass finish on the sinker changed color after a few weeks in saltwater. But overall, I've been really happy with this Carolina Ready Rig. It's made my fishing sessions more efficient and enjoyable, and I look forward to catching more fish with it. 🔗Complete Carolina Rigging Kit by Eagle Clawhttps://preview.redd.it/kee5hhg02d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f03c0a6d13e4aee65fb00560b61a0181b8eeb1c1 As an avid fisherman, I've tried a variety of rigging kits to snag the biggest catches. Eagle Claw's 52 Piece Carolina Rigging Kit is a game-changer. Its attention to detail and quality is clear from the moment you unpack the kit. From sliding sinkers that slip through even the thickest weeds to ball-bearing swivels, this Carolina rig kit delivers on its promises. My personal favorite - the fish-catching noise it produces - is truly remarkable. It's helped me snag more fish than I've ever caught before. That being said, the one area where it could be improved is the labeling of the sinkers by weight. Even though the variety of weights is great, it would be more helpful if they were marked clearly. Also, if you're in an area where lead sinkers are not allowed, this might not be the kit for you. Overall, Eagle Claw's Carolina Rigging Kit is a fantastic addition to any fishing gear collection. It's a go-to for catfish and bass enthusiasts alike. 🔗6th Sense Carolina Pre Rig 3/8oz - Efficient Bass Fishing Solutionhttps://preview.redd.it/mco5ezq02d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc84a547060350752e78dc3c5f69f9aa0cd2b5aa As someone who has spent countless hours on the water, the 6th Sense Carolina Pre Rig 3/8oz has been a game-changer for me. After dealing with the frustrations of rigging my Carolina Rig and dealing with the constant break-offs, I decided to give this pre-rig a try. One of the biggest highlights for me has been the time-saving aspect. With the pre-rigged hook, I can spend more time casting and reeling in fish instead of tying knots and fiddling with excess weight. Not only does it save time, but it has significantly reduced the number of break-offs I've experienced, keeping my line intact and increasing my chances of landing a big one. The durability of this pre-rig is also top-notch. The flexible wire has allowed me to drag it through every type of structure without getting hung up, giving me the freedom to focus on the fish rather than worrying about losing my rig. Plus, the fact that it comes in three different sizes and two different metals (lead and tungsten) means there's an option for any fishing situation. Of course, nothing is perfect, and I did encounter a minor drawback when switching between lead and tungsten options. The switch required me to remove the weight and reattach it, which took a bit of extra time. However, this small inconvenience is easily outweighed by the benefits this pre-rig provides. Overall, I'd highly recommend the 6th Sense Carolina Pre Rig 3/8oz to anyone looking to save time, reduce break-offs, and increase their chances of catching bass. 🔗Carolina Ready Rig Hook for Sensitive Baitshttps://preview.redd.it/7x0j44612d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fbb58fb470d0d4a59320dbaa55999d22c6ec674 In my experience, the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rig has been a game-changer. I remember the first time I used it, it was a chilly morning and I was struggling to put together a Carolina rig, but these pre-assembled ones made my life so much easier. Each rig is made with brass, glass beads, and Pro-Tickers, which together create a loud and attention-grabbing presence in the water. The best part for me? No more fumbling with beads and weights in cold weather. Each rig comes already assembled and ready to use, saving me a considerable amount of time. Plus, they're built strong and sturdy, holding up well even in challenging fishing conditions. However, there was one downside I noticed. On a couple of occasions, the wires seemed to bend easily, causing some issues in the line. But overall, the pros outweighed the cons, and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an efficient and reliable Carolina rig solution. 🔗Quality Carolina Live Bait King Rig for Tournament Fishermenhttps://preview.redd.it/tbvz3ym12d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98019d2d98805ebd77a3d041090271937c8222e6 Using the Sea Striker Carolina Live Bait King Rig has been a game-changer in my fishing adventure. The slow troll rig is perfect for tournament fishermen like myself, with its bronze hooks that are professionally snelled with 60 lb. camo coated wire. The live bait size 2/0 nose hook and the 4X Eagle Claw size 4 treble hooks have proved reliable and sturdy during my fishing trips. Model LBR has one treble hook and model DLBR has two treble hooks, both variations offering different options depending on your fishing needs. The leader is neatly finished off with a size 7 barrel swivel, ensuring smooth and stable action. This rig also comes with an optional ultra mylar duster, which adds an extra layer of attractiveness for the fish. While using the Sea Striker Carolina Live Bait King Rig, I found some pros and cons in my experience. The pros were the reliable hooks, the versatility of having two different treble hook models, and the option to add the ultra mylar duster for additional attraction. However, the cons were the lack of information on the product specs and minimal user reviews. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Sea Striker Carolina Live Bait King Rig remains a trusty tool in my fishing arsenal. 🔗Complete Carolina Rig Kit for Ultimate Fishing Experiencehttps://preview.redd.it/ojctc8722d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=570dd0f400443a97d4d3378512ec7f2774ac31db When I first received the Crme Lure Carolina Rig Kit, I was impressed by its compact, organizer-like nature, designed to keep all the lures and rigging in one place. The variety of colors available in the lures made me excited to see how they'd perform in the water. On my first fishing trip with this kit, I encountered a rather small bass. Although it wasn't a monster catch, I managed to hook it using a Carolina rig from this kit. One downside I encountered was the difficulty in finding the appropriate rigging components. The instructions provided were quite detailed, but they seemed to be written for an audience with more experience in fishing. Nevertheless, I managed to work it out with a bit of trial and error. The lures themselves performed quite well, with different types of lures attracting diverse species of fish. However, they did have a tendency to get snagged on underwater debris, which was a bit of a setback. Despite the initial challenges, I found the Crme Lure Carolina Rig Kit to be a versatile and durable tool for improving my fishing skills. As a beginner, it was great to have a handy reference in the form of a comprehensive guide. Additionally, the rigging components were high-quality and seemed to withstand the test of time. In summary, the Carolina Rig Lure Kit is an excellent selection for novice or experienced fishermen who want to enhance their skills with a variety of rigging options. The kit offers great value with a plethora of lures and rigging components, and I'd definitely recommend it. Just remember to keep an eye out for potential rigging fumbles and stay patient when it comes to using instructions. 🔗Owner Rig N Hook - High-Quality Fishing Equipment for Your Adventureshttps://preview.redd.it/0jpq4oo22d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=02d5ffaad0253e6af824b814a1b70752deac0c9d I had the opportunity to try out Owner Rig N Hook while fishing for my daily catch. As an avid fisherman, I've used various hooks in the past, but this one stood out for its unique features and incredible performance. One of the most noticeable aspects of Owner Rig N Hook is its sharp and sturdy cutting point. It's designed to provide a strong and reliable hookset, ensuring that my catch does not escape. The black chrome finish not only adds a touch of elegance but also offers enhanced corrosion resistance, which is perfect for my trips to the lake. The short shank on these hooks is particularly useful when working with plastics that have a short but thick profile, such as spider grubs or creature baits. The wide gap and heavy wire make it an ideal choice for Texas RigN and Carolina RigN, as well as Split ShotN techniques. However, I did notice that these hooks tend to straighten more often than other hooks. While it's not a major issue, it's something to keep in mind when using them, especially for larger fish. Overall, Owner Rig N Hook has become a staple in my tackle box. It provides a reliable and efficient hookset, making my fishing experiences all the more enjoyable. The high-quality materials and design make it a worthwhile investment for any avid fisherman. 🔗Top Brass Carolina Ready Rig - Loudest 5/16 oz Black Hook Sethttps://preview.redd.it/xb541e132d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46e56a8c5e2233f2fccd5886dcc565af3cc2f117 The Carolina Ready Rig is a game-changer in the world of fishing. The combination of these materials results in a perfect Carolina rig that can withstand even the toughest fishing conditions. One of the biggest highlights of this product is the time it saves. Gone are the days of digging out beads and weights, as the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rig is already pre-rigged and ready to go. The rigs are simple to use and make attaching lures a breeze, saving valuable time on the water. However, the wire on these rigs can be delicate and may bend easily, causing some problems. Despite this minor issue, the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rig is a top-quality product that is designed to last. The materials are of high quality and the pricing is reasonable, making these rigs accessible to all. Overall, the Carolina Ready Rig is an excellent choice for anyone looking to catch more fish with less hassle. 🔗Efficient Carolina Rig Weight for Fishing Successhttps://preview.redd.it/vtzhyud32d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=06466cfb19ff45ccb813a9c14a28df2a79d04c32 In my experience, the Strike King EZ-Rig Carolina Rig Sinker has been a game-changer in my fishing trips. The convenience of having everything pre-rigged has saved me a lot of valuable fishing time. The glass beads not only produce a rattling sound that attracts fish, but they also add a flashy appearance that helps to make a big impact. The stainless steel wire ensures that the rig will hold up even after multiple uses. The environmentally friendly brass weights are also a huge plus, as they add the right amount of weight without causing any harm to the environment. The rig is compact and easy to carry, making it a top choice for anyone looking for a quick and simple set-up. Overall, the Strike King Lures Carolina Rig Weight has been a lifesaver for me during my fishing adventures. 🔗Proven Carolina Rig Kit for Fishing Successhttps://preview.redd.it/vkl29eu32d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e603d8b1477d11c45fcb073e66a113288352a3ce I recently tried out Karl's Stash Carolina Rig Kit, and I must say, it was quite the experience. As someone who's always on the lookout for a good fishing setup, this kit caught my eye with its promise of a tried and true fish catching system. The first thing that struck me was the design of the rig itself. Its heavy power, coupled with a moderate fast action, provided me with an unexpected amount of precision and control. The line, which was perfect for a weight range of 14-20lb Fluorocarbon or Monofilament, held up incredibly well under the strain of my fishing escapades. However, there were a couple of aspects that I didn't quite gel with. For one, the brass weights seemed a bit outdated compared to the tungsten ones I've gotten used to. Another minor inconvenience was the large weights that sometimes bogged down in the sand, making retrieval a smidgen more difficult. Despite these minor setbacks, I found myself consistently landing good catches with the help of this rig. Its simple, yet effective design makes it a great choice for both beginners and experienced fishers alike. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're looking to spice up your fishing experience. After all, the proof of the pudding is in the catching, and this rig sure does catch! 🔗Easy-to-use Carolina Rig for Fishinghttps://preview.redd.it/1ucsza642d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=62fbf77823b2aa08c0d49e717f4630c7ae259a5b I've been using the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rigs for my fishing trips, and I must say, they've made my life so much easier. The brass weights, glass beads, and Pro-Tickers create a loud, fish-enticing rig that is ready to use right out of the box. One thing that stood out to me was the sturdiness of the rig. It's a well-made product that can handle the rough and tumble of a day on the water. I also appreciated the ease of use - it's a simple, straightforward rig that's perfect for those times when I don't want to spend a lot of time on prep work. That being said, there were a couple of downsides as well. Occasionally, the wire would bend easily, causing issues with the rig. And while the one bead not three thing was a minor inconvenience, it was nothing that couldn't be fixed with a quick trip to the hardware store or a little bit of DIY ingenuity. All in all, the Top Brass Carolina Ready Rigs are a solid choice for any angler looking to make their fishing trips a little easier. They're well-made, easy to use, and a great time-saver. 🔗Easy-Adjust Carolina Rig Hook - 8 Packhttps://preview.redd.it/bmtk1qm42d1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=162f42597c9b1c4be84f4e657f959ac4ec8baff5 I recently started using the Carolina Keeper 8 pack and I must say it has greatly improved my fishing experience. What stands out in my experience is how easy and convenient it is to tie that one knot instead of the three that I used to need. It eliminates the swivel and simplifies the process of adjusting the leader length. The keeper even works well for different types of fish like striper, hybrid, trout, and all saltwater species. One of the pros of using this product is the ease of setting up the Carolina rig. It saves a lot of time and effort compared to using a swivel and tying knots. However, a minor con that I've encountered is that the keeper may slide down the line if you're using heavy weights, especially in heavier currents. Overall, the Carolina Keeper is an excellent product that has made the Carolina rig setup convenient and efficient. Despite the minor drawback, the pros definitely outweigh the cons, and I highly recommend it to any angler looking to improve their fishing game. Reviews🔗Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket - Blackhttps://preview.redd.it/79aq073vzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=88dc636ef07e48879b53811e61808dd2d2626db8 Recently, I purchased the Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket, and I'm quite satisfied with its performance. As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, it's important for me to have a jacket that's not only durable but also well-insulated and wind-resistant. This active jacket did not disappoint. The first thing that caught my attention when I received the jacket was the 3M Thinsulate insulation, which provides excellent warmth without feeling too bulky. I'm particularly fond of the hood design, featuring a drawcord and reflective Carhartt patch. The hood not only keeps me protected from rain and snow but also ensures visibility during nighttime activities. However, one area where the jacket could be improved is its zipper quality. While the plastic zipper works fine, I'm more accustomed to metal zippers, which are generally more reliable and durable. In addition, the jacket can be somewhat noisy when walking due to the swishy fabric sound - not ideal for hunting purposes. Despite these minor drawbacks, I believe the Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable and well-insulated winter coat. Its attractive design, variety of pockets, and comfortable fit make it a versatile option for both recreational activities and daily life. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and believe many others will be too. 🔗Carhartt Washed Duck Insulated Coverall: Tough, Warm, and Versatile Workwearhttps://preview.redd.it/yoxguolvzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1836acb7dfc9081f0d20f7467bb1db1475b091fb These Carhartt Washed Duck Insulated Coveralls provided a comfortable and practical solution for my work needs. The quilted nylon lining and midweight polyester insulation kept me warm on chilly days without causing me to overheat. The heavyweight cotton duck fabric was durable and had a broken-in feel, well-suited for outdoor construction tasks. The ankle-to-waist zippers and full front zipper made it easy to put on and take off, while the nine pockets and reinforced kick panels offered ample storage and protection. The ribbed storm cuffs, comfortflex waistband, bi-swing back, and pleated elbows ensured a comfortable fit and easy movement. Although it was a bit difficult to get to the pants' pockets without reaching through, overall, I found these coveralls to be of great quality, durability, and warmth. 🔗Carhartt Flame-Resistant Twill Coveralls with Comfort Flex Waistband - Belt Loopshttps://preview.redd.it/3hh0d7vvzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ea1213388ced50fce1453b82347c288f6fcb618 As someone who's tried these Carhartt Flame-Resistant Loose Fit Twill coveralls out in the field, I must say, they truly shine when it comes to safety and comfort. These coveralls, equipped with flame-resistant twill, offer the perfect balance of style and function for those working with arcs and flames. One of the standout features is the two-way zip front, featuring a storm flap and high-temperature resistant FR zipper tape. It effortlessly opens up to reveal a comfortable loose fit, accentuated by a stretchy comfort flex waistband. The adjustable waistband not only ensures a snug fit but also allows for ease of movement with the back yoke featuring pleats. The added element of safety is taken into consideration with the chest pockets, which are both secure and convenient. They come with flaps and a hook & loop closure that keeps valuable items safe without compromising on accessibility. And don't forget about the UL classification to NFPA 2112 – it's a testament to the coveralls' commitment to keeping its wearers safe from potential hazards. While there are a few minor issues, such as the occasional need for adjusting sizes based on inseam lengths, overall, these Carhartt coveralls have been a reliable addition to my work wardrobe. From their practical design to their emphasis on safety, they have proven to be a worthy investment in the long run. 🔗Superior Insulated Coveralls for Extreme Weatherhttps://preview.redd.it/84luir7wzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f2e8e0b78e4153f1d02c77870a3d13b856741124 As a reviewer who recently tried the Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Coveralls, I was impressed by the level of warmth they provide. Working in chilly conditions, I found the 3M Thinsulate insulation to be a game-changer, keeping me toasty even on the coldest days. The wind resistance and waterproofing also proved effective, as I dealt with harsh gusts and rain. However, one downside was the fit; I had to size up to get the extra room I needed for layering underneath. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would recommend this coverall to anyone working in extreme cold conditions and seeking reliable protection. 🔗Carhartt Men's Yukon Insulated Biberall: Thinsulate Insulation and Reflective Tape for Cold Weather Comforthttps://preview.redd.it/bg24fhjwzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f5f3862f20f801711829627fac09084d35729c7f Windy days used to mean a chilly workplace, but now, thanks to the Carhartt Yukon Extremes, I'm snug and cozy even when the wind is howling. The Thinsulate insulation was a game-changer. One day, I was working in the freezing cold, and I was amazed that I didn't feel the chill. The water-repellent construction has also been my savior. One day, I accidentally splash some water during my work, and to my delight, my bib didn't soak it up. My visibility was also boosted by the reflective taping, making my outdoor activities a lot safer. The Wind Fighter technology did an excellent job keeping the wind at bay, even in the harshest conditions. However, I felt that the Rain Defender wasn't living up to its name. On one occasion, I encountered some heavy rain, and to my disappointment, some water seeped in through the bib. I appreciate the adjustable elastic suspenders for their convenience, but I noticed they weren't as sturdy as I would have liked. Overall, the Carhartt Yukon Extremes bib is a reliable choice for those who need a combination of warmth and protection. Despite the minor drawbacks, it has been my go-to for outdoor tasks on chilly days. 🔗Carhartt Women's Yukon Insulated Coverall: Ultimate Cold Weather Protectionhttps://preview.redd.it/awe5dvwwzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5540659e89bc3eed1b4cd7be75c87775ec58033f As a cold weather enthusiast, I've tried the Carhartt Yukon Extreme Coveralls and let me tell you, they are an absolute game-changer in the winter season! The first thing I noticed was their sleek design, perfect for those who need a practical yet stylish outfit to face the cold. The zipper closure was a breeze to use, and the 6.5-ounce, 500-denier Cordura nylon shell offered a robust protection from harsh weather conditions. One of the features that truly stood out to me was the 150g 3M Thinsulate insulation, ensuring that I could confidently venture into the heart of winter without shivering. The 3M Scotchlite Carbon Black reflective taping on the center back and double front also provided extra safety when I was out in low-light conditions. The Wind Fighter technology and Rain Defender durable water repellent (DWR) gave me the peace of mind that I could withstand some light rain without feeling soaked. The triple-stitched main seams, center front zipper, and rib-knit storm cuffs provided all the reinforcements needed to shield me from the wind. However, there were a couple of cons that I couldn't overlook. Firstly, the coveralls were a bit restrictive in terms of movement, making it difficult to perform certain tasks. Secondly, the sizing seemed a bit off, and finding the perfect fit was quite the challenge. Overall, the Carhartt Yukon Insulated Coverall is a fantastic option for anyone looking for protection from the chilliest weather. It may not be perfect, but it undeniably gets the job done and makes me feel like a winter warrior out on the field. 🔗Workrite Coveralls - Lightweight, Breathable, and Flame Resistanthttps://preview.redd.it/gy1cfdaxzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=948280e288f730c9a77e1ec51a580f378bc78177 I recently had the opportunity to wear the Carhartt Men's Flame Resistant Force Loose Fit Lightweight Coverall on a typical workday. Firstly, its distinctive Breathable honeycomb weave fabric stood out, offering me great all-day comfort. This lightweight coverall also passed crucial performance requirements and was classified to NFPA 2112, showcasing its effectiveness at protecting wearers against hazards. The Force technology was particularly impressive, as it efficiently wicked away sweat and helped the garment dry fast, preventing any unpleasant odors from sticking around. Moreover, this coverall kept me cool throughout the day thanks to the FastDry technology, which I found extremely convenient. In terms of construction, this coverall was built with an anti-static, colorfast fabric that was wrinkle-resistant and conveniently featured a two-way front zipper with a secure storm flap. It also had two secure chest pockets perfect for storing small essentials. The comfort flex waistband provided increased comfort, and the back yoke with pleats ensured ease of movement. This versatile workwear also boasted multiple utility pockets for added storage, an adjustable sleeve cuff with snap closure, and ankle-to-knee leg openings that fit nicely over boots. However, after a long day in the Carhartt Coverall, I realized it wasn't as convenient as I hoped when it came to ledge pockets. Accessing the lower-front ledge pockets was slightly challenging with a side-entry pass-through. Nonetheless, I appreciated the attention to detail through the addition of NFPA 2112 and FR labels on the left-chest pocket. In conclusion, the Carhartt Men's Flame Resistant Force Loose Fit Lightweight Coverall proved to be a reliable garment in providing essential protection and functionality at work. Despite the slight drawback with the ledge pockets, overall it's a practical and comfortable choice for those looking for top-notch flame-resistant workwear. 🔗Flame Resistant Carhartt Coveralls for Comfort and Protectionhttps://preview.redd.it/l6imufrxzc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a2a17d084d9f1bdac724232778c9aa2c80277ccb I've been using these Carhartt flame resistant coveralls for quite some time, and I must say, they've proven to be incredibly durable and comfortable. One of my favorite features is their 100% cotton material, which makes them perfect for a variety of outdoor tasks. However, I've noticed that they can be a bit warm during the summer months. Despite this little inconvenience, the coveralls' overall quality is top-notch. The spread collar and multiple pockets have made it convenient for me to carry my tools while on the go. The zipper closure ensures a secure fit, while the machine wash feature makes cleaning a breeze. What truly sets these coveralls apart is their Carhartt FR label, which guarantees compliance with NFPA 70 E standards and UL Classification to NFPA 2112. This additional layer of safety is something I appreciate when working on high-risk projects. In all honesty, I'm really happy with my experience using these Carhartt coveralls, and I'm confident they'll continue to serve me well in the future. Reviews🔗Carhartt Ground Force Waterproof Work Boots: Comfort, Protection, and Stylehttps://preview.redd.it/cifkfyv3yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b6ef9e2ec091f93ed8076fc4a8182036b534713 I had the chance to try out the Carhartt 6" Ground Force Composite Toe Waterproof Boots in Men's Brown, and I must say, they have been quite an experience. These boots are designed for those working in tough environments, and they definitely live up to that expectation. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable the Insite technology footbed is. I was able to wear these boots for long hours without any foot fatigue. It was great to be able to focus on my job without being bothered by my feet. However, there were a couple of drawbacks that I couldn't quite shake off. The boots felt a bit heavy, and the ankle support could be more effective. Additionally, some reviewers mentioned they had problems with the boots not being waterproof, which is a major concern for those working in wet conditions. Despite the cons, I must say that the Ground Force boots are a game-changer for those looking for comfort and durability in their work boots. They are well-designed, and the features like the FastDry lining and EVA midsole really make a difference. Overall, the Carhartt Ground Force Composite Toe Waterproof Boots are a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable work boot. Just be prepared for a bit of adjustment time as you get used to the fit and feel of these boots. 🔗Stylish Carhartt Work Boots with Wheat-tanned Leather and Rubber Outsoleshttps://preview.redd.it/axigy1f4yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68d2c83a51c569ca8f26c8d3fdfc44091969b680 When I wore the Carhartt Wedge Boots for the first time, I immediately noticed the soft, unlined casual upper that felt comfortable from the start. The stylish wheat oil-tanned leather uppers were perfect for both work and casual settings. However, the lack of arch support made my heels feel like they were on fire by the end of the day. Despite the cushioned foam footbed and good-looking design, the footbed didn't offer the best fit for my wide feet. Overall, the slip-resistant Goodyear welt construction and wicking lining made it a suitable choice for construction and landscaping situations, but the comfort level left something to be desired. 🔗Carhartt Men's 6-inch Waterproof Moc Toe Wedge Work Boots Black 10.5Mhttps://preview.redd.it/7fpsd5m4yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d497360fa19c8554a553499ccb393186aa1c2751 I've been wearing these Carhartt work boots for about a month now, and I must say, they've really made an impact on my daily work routine. The leather is top-notch, and I appreciate the Storm Defender membrane that keeps my feet nice and dry even on those damp workdays. One of the features that stood out to me is the dual-density rubber sole - it's incredibly comfortable, and I find myself walking more confidently on uneven surfaces. The Goodyear welt construction is another highlight, ensuring that these boots will last for a long time, even with the occasional accidental bump. That being said, there were a couple of downsides to these work boots. The break-in period was a bit longer than expected, but once they fit comfortably, it was all worth it. Another minor issue was the size - I usually wear a 10, but I found that these boots ran a bit big, so I had to go for a smaller size. Overall, I'm quite pleased with my Carhartt work boots. They're a durable and comfortable choice for long hours on the job, and I feel more confident wearing them on the construction site. I hope more people can experience the benefits of these boots, just like I have. 🔗High-Performance Carhartt Waterproof Work Boot for Menhttps://preview.redd.it/pb5s4vw4yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=527c9d624b7eb799cbdcd180770bcfa9e5945a83 I recently got these Carhartt Waterproof Soft Toe Hiker Boots, also known as the FP5070-M ones, and they've been a game-changer in my outdoor activities. One of the features that stood out to me was the Vibram Arctic Grip outsole for superior traction in wet and on ice. As someone who spends a lot of time in slippery environments, this came in handy on a recent hike where I had to cross a narrow bridge over a fast-moving river. The olive nubuck leather and high abrasion resistant 1260D material was also impressive. I couldn't help but notice how resistant these boots have been to scratches and wear, especially after a particularly rough day at work. The waterproof and breathable membrane worked exceptionally well too, keeping my feet dry even when I had to wade through knee-deep water in a swamp. However, there were a couple of cons that I noticed. Firstly, they fit a bit snugly, so it was a bit of a struggle getting them on and off. But overall, the benefits outweighed the minor inconvenience. Secondly, I found them to be a little warm during the summer days. But considering they're waterproof and offer great support, it's a trade-off I'm willing to make. All in all, these boots are a solid investment if you're looking for reliable, comfortable footwear to take on rugged terrains or challenging outdoor activities. The combination of style, durability, and comfort makes these boots perfect for both work and play. 🔗Carhartt Men's Brown Waterproof Work Boot with Steel Toe Protectionhttps://preview.redd.it/e5h1ysg5yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=40409c5a1ee92b84e152b6850d292f2753dbde34 I recently started using the Carhartt Men's 6" Brown Waterproof Work Boots, and I'm quite impressed by their performance so far. The first thing that stood out to me was the leather upper – it seems durable and looks sleek. But the true test came when I encountered wet and damp conditions at work. The Storm Defender waterproof and breathable membrane really kept my feet cozy and dry, which was a huge relief. I also appreciated the FastDry lining, as it wicked away sweat and moisture, keeping me fresh throughout the day. The cushioned insole was a game-changer, providing support, comfort, and reducing foot fatigue. However, there was a downside to the break-in period. The boot initially felt a bit stiff, which made it uncomfortable to wear for long periods. But that's a common issue with work boots, and I expected it. Another thing I noticed was the potential for stitching issues, as one customer had mentioned. I'll keep an eye on that, but so far, so good. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and I'm looking forward to putting these boots through their paces in various work conditions. 🔗Carhartt Work Boot - Rugged Design, Durable Protection, ASTM Certifiedhttps://preview.redd.it/2jla0bm5yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=004ac68c2dded48a0e007b5dd84d1cb04491bcb9 For years, I've been on the hunt for a rugged and comfortable pair of work boots that can withstand the test of time, both on and off the job site. After trying out several pairs, I finally stumbled upon a winner: the Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex Steel Toe Work Boot. The first thing that caught my attention was the brown leather, paired with the Carstrong durable reinforced fabric that protects against wear and tear without being excessively heavy. The boots' FastDry technology lining is a game-changer for me, as I tend to sweat quite a bit in the heels of my footwear. One of the standout features of this pair of boots is the composite toe that protects against both impact and compression hazards, ensuring I am always safe on the job site. The rubber heel bumper provides extra stability and protection, while the EVA midsole with cushioned polyurethane insole offers great support and shock absorbance - something my feet appreciate after long hours on my feet. The Rugged Flex rubber outsole not only offers durable traction but also keeps me feeling flexible, enhancing my overall comfort while I'm at work. However, there have been a couple of cons worth mentioning. For instance, the boots took a bit more time than I would've liked to break in properly, which disrupted my workflow for a few days. Additionally, the FastDry lining didn't seem to work as effectively as it should have, leaving me with sweaty feet at the end of the day. Despite these minor setbacks, I have found the Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex Steel Toe Work Boot to be a reliable and comfortable choice for those seeking top-notch work boots. The pros undeniably outweigh the cons, making these boots a worthy investment for anyone looking for durability, protection, and comfort in their footwear. 🔗Carhartt Men's 6-inch Work Boots: Oil-tanned Leather and Rubber Outsolehttps://preview.redd.it/id49gd36yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1a1381e10cf71763a2abd08181be278217c7453 These Carhartt work boots have become a staple in my daily life. The leather upper and rubber outsole make for a durable and reliable footwear option. I was a bit skeptical about the removable insole, but it provides great cushioning and support. The fit is true to size, and the boots have a nice, snug feel around the foot. One issue I did encounter is the tongue stitching. It gets in the way of putting my foot in the boot, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, I've noticed the FastDry lining doesn't do much to control odor, so I have to clean them more often than I'd like. Despite those minor drawbacks, the boots have held up well during my day-to-day activities. The removable insole is a great feature and adds to the overall comfort of the boots. I would recommend these Carhartt work boots for anyone in need of a tough and reliable pair of boots for work or play. 🔗Carhartt Force Sneaker Boot: Lightweight, Comfortable, and Abrasion Resistant Men's Boothttps://preview.redd.it/uan9sfm6yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=81daa386ebff1a5c9c84624d82974118d3c92f01 As someone who loves the convenience of sneakers when it comes to working hard, but also needs the support and durability of proper boots, I was excited to try the Carhartt Force Lightweight Sneaker Boot in Men's Coyote. From the moment I first wore them, I was impressed by the lightweight knit upper and the protective, abrasion-resistant heel and toe counter. The fact that it has a slip and oil-resistant Carhartt Force rubber sole made me feel confident that even though I spend a lot of time working outdoors and being exposed to various weather conditions, these boots would hold up well. Another notable feature for me was the FastDry technology lining, which kept my feet comfortable and dry during my long, tiring days at work. The light and high rebound EVA midsole, along with the Insite technology comfort footbed, provided the cushioning and support I needed, even after countless hours on my feet. However, there was one drawback to this otherwise great pair of boots. As mentioned in the title, the boots had a slightly oversized heel and were not as snug or comfortable as I would have preferred. Additionally, while I appreciated the soft toe design, it did make the boots feel looser than I had hoped. Despite these minor issues, my overall experience with the Carhartt Force Lightweight Sneaker Boot has been positive. It's a versatile and functional boot, perfect for those who want the comfort and flexibility of sneakers, combined with the support and durability you'd expect from a top-notch work boot. 🔗Carhartt Men's Work Boot: Rugged, Waterproof, and Protectivehttps://preview.redd.it/icbitty6yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=663ca55f6eee0ea91460a4afc93d89e9b447af73 Recently, I had the chance to try out a pair of Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex 6-Inch Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boots in brown. In terms of durability, these boots truly lived up to their promise. The oil-tanned leather and reinforced fabric provided a long-lasting wear that I appreciated as I went about my daily work tasks. The lace closure was a great feature, giving me a more secure and custom fit, which was important to me as I was often on my feet for long periods of time. One of the standout features for me was the FastDry lining, which helped wick away sweat and fight odors. It kept me feeling fresh and dry even on the warmest days, which was a welcome relief. The composite toe offered excellent protection against impact and compression hazards, and it met ASTM 2413-18 standards. This gave me the peace of mind I needed when working in potentially dangerous environments. The rubber toe and heel bumpers added stability and protection, while the EVA midsole with cushioned polyurethane insole provided support and shock absorbance. The Rugged Flex rubber outsole offered durable traction and flexibility, making it a great choice for tough outdoor work environments. I also appreciated the secondary protection against incidental contact with electrical circuits of 18,000 volts or less under dry conditions and the ASTM 2413-18 EH standards. Though the boots were generally comfortable and supportive, there were a few minor drawbacks. One was that the insole was not as cushioned as I would have liked, which made long periods of wear less comfortable. Additionally, I found that they ran slightly big in size, which took some time to adjust to. Overall, I was very impressed by the Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex Boots. They provided the comfort, support, and protection I needed for my demanding work environments, and I have no qualms about recommending them to others. 🔗Carhartt Ground Force Waterproof Work Boot for Maximum Comforthttps://preview.redd.it/gkg93ub7yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5e46ec3dfbceda06b69adb54668fc4e852f17f51 Imagine a day in the life of a Carhartt Ground Force Men's 6" Waterproof Composite Toe Work Boot wearer. He wakes up to the comfortable, supportive cushioning that reduces fatigue, all thanks to the Carhartt footbed with Insite Technology. He laces up his boots, feeling the durable oiled leather upper and the Storm Defender waterproof, breathable protection keeping feet dry and comfortable. As he starts his day, he heads out into his construction project, walking on earthy and rocky surfaces, his boots standing up to the test. However, after some time, he notices his soles are starting to crack and peel - a clear sign that these boots aren't as sturdy or durable as he thought they were. The boots he bought 18 months ago should be in good shape by now, but they're not. He wonders about the boot's durability and if it's worth the investment. He also expresses his dissatisfaction with the customer service. He reached out to the company multiple times but received no response. It seems like the brand isn't as committed to its customers as it claims to be with its products. Overall, he appreciates the comfortable features of the Carhartt Ground Force Men's 6" Waterproof Composite Toe Work Boot. However, the concerns about the boots' durability and the lack of customer support cast a long shadow over his experience with the product. Would he buy these boots again? It's a difficult question, but the current quality and support issues make it a challenging decision. 🔗Carhartt Men's Oil Tanned Welt Work Boots: Durable, Comfortable, and Versatilehttps://preview.redd.it/dpu8b2w7yc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=773e761f47270a607e1268e5c5a9ed3983c26833 I recently tried on the Carhartt 10" Traditional Welt Comp Toe WP Boot, specifically the 15 Men's Brown variant. Right off the bat, I was impressed by the oil-tanned leather and suede upper coated with high abrasion PU. It gave the boot a rugged yet premium feel. One feature that I found quite appealing was the molded rubber toe bumper and the Carhartt Heel Guard. It provided great support and protection to my feet while on the job without compromising on flexibility. The Storm Defender waterproof protection was another aspect of the boot that stood out to me. Working in a rainy environment, I could feel the water resisting capabilities of the boot. It did a great job protecting my feet from getting soaked. However, one downside I encountered with these boots was the removable foam cushion insole with TPU arch support. While it offered some comfort, it felt a bit off after some time, giving me unnecessary pressure on my arches. Another thing I was a bit disappointed with was the rubber lug outsole, which while offering excellent traction and slip resistance, wore out much faster than I expected for a boots in this price range. In conclusion, overall my experience with the Carhartt 10" Traditional Welt Comp Toe WP Boot was satisfactory. The boots have shown good support and protection for my feet, but they could use some improvements in the comfort and durability departments. I've been using it for the past three hunting seasons, and it's been nothing short of amazing. The first thing that caught my attention was its durability; it's held up against some harsh weather conditions. The Rugged Flex stretch technology and elbow pleats allow for easy movement, which is crucial when I'm tracking down my prey. One of the most impressive features is the DWR finish that provides excellent water resistance. It's kept me dry even during unexpected downpours. The Mossy Oak Bottomland camo pattern truly helps me blend in with my surroundings, making it easier to stay hidden from my quarry. However, there are few things that could use some improvement. The loose fit means I sometimes experience a bit of wind coming up, but it's not too much of an issue. Additionally, while the zipper quality is solid, it could be slightly longer, as suggested by other reviewers. Overall, the Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex Duck Camo Active Jacket has been a reliable companion on my hunts, protecting me from the elements and enabling me to focus on the task at hand. If you're in the market for a well-constructed and comfortable hunting jacket, this one should definitely be on your radar. 🔗Carhartt Classic Brown Duck Coat with Corduroy Collarhttps://preview.redd.it/gjelnnkgvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=73b08da0c3ef44f85c77311800d674aab16f961a A couple of years ago, I purchased the Carhartt Men's Firm Duck Chore Coat for myself when I was gearing up for a cold and windy construction project. The first thing that stood out to me about this coat was its heritage-inspired design, reminiscent of the pocket watch era. As time went on, I had the opportunity to test its claims of being water-repellent and wind-resistant, and I can confirm that it lived up to my expectations, even in harsh conditions. One significant highlight of the Carhartt Chore Coat is its corduroy collar, which has been in use since the late 1930s and has that classic, timeless look. Additionally, the rugged firm-hand duck fabric not only gives it a sturdy feel but also becomes more comfortable with time, making it a reliable piece of outerwear. As much as I love this coat, it does have a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, the length of the sleeves can be a bit too long for some users, with some having to size down to ensure a comfortable fit. Secondly, the coat's collar could be slightly wider to provide better protection against the wind. In conclusion, the Carhartt Firm Duck Chore Coat is the perfect choice for those who prioritize comfort, warmth, and durability in their outerwear. Its timeless design and high-quality materials make it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for a reliable coat that will stand the test of time. 🔗Carhartt Rain Defender Fleece Shirt Jackethttps://preview.redd.it/y8kkylqgvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f0b4bb1c92157046e5a7e0cab246597aaed6a50 I recently got my hands on the Carhartt Rain Defender Relaxed Fit Hooded Shirt Jacket in Black Heather and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer in my daily life. As an avid outdoorsman, I appreciate the flexibility of this jacket - it's suitable for various weather conditions. One thing that really stood out for me was the adjustable hood, which ensures good visibility even during a downpour. The high collar also provides additional protection against the elements. Another highlight is its durability. The Windfighter fleece, combined with the Rain Defender finish, makes it wind and water-resistant, while its triple-stitched main seams add extra strength. Notably, there are ample pockets for all my essentials. However, there's one issue I encountered with the hood design. It can feel awkward if worn with a cap, though a beanie or hard hat doesn't pose the same problem. In terms of sizing, I found that the medium size fits perfectly, providing enough room for layering without compromising on comfort. The length of this jacket is another praiseworthy feature - it's just right, even without the 'tall' version. Lastly, while it's not technically a winter jacket, I believe that with some insulation, it could be the perfect companion in winter. Overall, the Carhartt Rain Defender is a reliable go-to for various weather conditions, offering comfort, durability, and functionality. 🔗Carhartt Men's Lightweight Hooded Jackethttps://preview.redd.it/kbt1283hvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df1a27058b1649184cd8236dbe7fe5f04200a9ed I recently got my hands on the Carhartt Super Dux Relaxed Fit Lightweight Mock-Neck Jacket and I must say, I'm quite impressed. The jacket provides excellent protection against wind and light rain, making it perfect for those chilly days when you're outdoors. It's a great piece to layer up with during mild winters. One of the standout features of this jacket is its flexibility. Thanks to the Rugged Flex stretch technology, I can move freely without any hindrance - whether I'm running errands or engaging in some physical activity. The wind-resistant fabric ensures that my body stays warm even when there's a chill in the air. However, there's one drawback that I've noticed - the collar. It feels a bit too large and tends to get in the way while turning my head. It would be great if Carhartt could address this issue in future models. In terms of pocket storage, this jacket delivers as well. There are several secure zipper pockets both inside and outside, allowing me to safely stow away my essentials like tools or supplies. Overall, the Carhartt Super Dux Relaxed Fit Lightweight Mock-Neck Jacket has become a staple in my daily outdoor wear. Its lightweight design, coupled with its wind and water resistance, make it a practical choice for anyone who spends time outdoors. Despite the minor issue with the collar, I'm highly satisfied with this jacket. 🔗Carhartt Realtreed Xtra Camo Sherpa Lined Active Jackethttps://preview.redd.it/qo0me0ohvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=119c6715543338880779bc3fcf9bb6e35bebc6c9 Carhartt's Men's Super Dux Relaxed Fit Sherpa-Lined Camo Active Jacket is a warm and durable piece of outerwear that's perfect for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts alike. I recently purchased one in Mossy Oak Bottomland Camo, and I must say, it has quickly become my go-to jacket for all my outdoor adventures. The first thing that struck me was the quality of this jacket. The 18.1-ounce, 97% nylon/3% elastane fabric feels sturdy and well-made, offering excellent wind resistance and a sprinkle of light rain protection. The Sherpa lining inside is incredibly soft and cozy, keeping me warm even on the chilliest days. One aspect I particularly love about this jacket is its spacious interior pocket. It comfortably holds my essentials without weighing me down or restricting my movement. The secure zipper left chest pocket is another useful feature, providing an easy-to-access spot for my phone and keys while I'm out and about. However, there are a few minor drawbacks to the Carhartt Men's Super Dux Jacket that I think are worth mentioning. Firstly, the adjustable hood with a hidden drawcord and cord lock is a nice touch for safety, but I've found that it can be a bit difficult to adjust while wearing gloves. Secondly, the lack of elbow or armpit gussets means that the jacket doesn't always move with me as smoothly as I'd like, especially when reaching or lifting objects. Despite these small issues, I'm overall very satisfied with my Carhartt Men's Super Dux Relaxed Fit Sherpa-Lined Camo Active Jacket. Its comfort, durability, and practical features make it a standout choice for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors. 🔗Carhartt Washed Duck Insulated Active Jackethttps://preview.redd.it/4bdckzxhvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=36a6bbe7e0c8d9b493a04c4249b5b155cca4c5fb As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, I have to say that the Carhartt Men's Washed Duck Insulated Active Jacket has been a game-changer for me. I've had this jacket for several months now and it has held up incredibly well. What stands out the most to me about this jacket is the heavyweight cotton duck fabric. It's not only warm and durable, but it also has a nice, broken-in feel to it that makes it super comfortable to wear. The 3M Thinsulate insulation adds an extra layer of warmth without making the jacket too bulky or heavy. One feature I really appreciate is the attached hood with low profile adjustment. On windy days, this hood helps keep me protected and warm. Plus, the cord locks make it easy to adjust the fit without having to deal with annoying drawstrings. Another positive aspect of this jacket is the updated lower front pockets. They're now lined with brushed tricot, which makes them feel much softer and more comfortable against my skin. And when I'm out working in the cold, I love how the pen stall in the right, lower front pocket lets me keep all my essentials close at hand. However, there is one aspect of this jacket that could use some improvement - the side pockets. They could definitely be deeper, as they don't provide enough room for storing larger items like smartphones or wallets when you're on the move. Overall, the Carhartt Men's Washed Duck Insulated Active Jacket is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and stylish cold weather jacket. The durability and thoughtful design features make it well worth the investment, and I can't recommend it highly enough. 🔗Carhartt Super Dux Insulated Jacket for Menhttps://preview.redd.it/a8870zgivc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e730e82932cb7e639a5ab1bf179935b5175c57ce The Carhartt Men's Super Dux Relaxed Fit Insulated Jacket was my go-to for those chilly days. On my latest project in the backyard, the wind was relentless and the rain was coming down hard, but this jacket held its own. The 100-gram Thinsulate insulation kept me toasty and the Rain Defender technology ensured I stayed dry. One of my favorite features was the Rugged Flex technology that allowed for unrestricted movement. The bi-swing shoulders and flexible elbows made reaching up high or bending over a much easier task. I never felt trapped in the jacket, even when I was getting really active. The hood was also a game-changer, able to protect my head not only from the rain but also from the wind. Plus, the detachable feature was super convenient - I could remove it on warmer days or when I needed to interact with someone face-to-face. However, I noticed that the interior storm cuffs were loose and didn't keep out the draft as well as I'd like. And while the length was perfect for my needs, it might not suit everyone. Despite these issues, the jacket's high-quality construction, impressive warmth, and rugged design made it a reliable addition to my wardrobe for those harsh conditions. 🔗Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket - Blackhttps://preview.redd.it/dgjxdyqivc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38aea4fb9e9855187f660b64af25d37d392586f3 Recently, I purchased the Carhartt Men's Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket, and I'm quite satisfied with its performance. 🔗Carhartt Youth Canvas Insulated Hooded Jacket - Mossy Oak Country DNAhttps://preview.redd.it/h1pq5j6jvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a97cea9c48e41af642305cb09c6436c6033c7afd I don't know about you, but I'm a big fan of Carhartt - especially their Camo line. That's why I decided to get this Canvas Insulated Hooded Jacket for my son. Let me tell you, it has been a game changer this hunting season! First off, the quality is top-notch. This jacket is made with heavy-duty canvas and features triple-stitched seams. Even after several washes, it still looks brand new. The quilted flannel lining on the inside also ensures that my boy stays warm and comfortable no matter how cold it is outside. One of my favorite features of this jacket is the hidden rib-knit cuffs. They keep his wrists toasty and make sure no wind or sleet sneaks in. Plus, the insulated front pockets are perfect for storing his hands or keeping small gear close at hand while he's out in the field. Now, let's talk about the hood. It's full zip, so it provides ample protection against rain, snow, or even those pesky mosquitoes during summer months. And speaking of zipping, the main zipper is high quality and doesn't get stuck or catch on the fabric. While the jacket isn't water-resistant, it does dry relatively quickly when hung up, making it easy to clean and maintain. The only downside I've noticed is that the sleeve length could be a bit longer, especially if your child is taller than average. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this Camo Canvas Insulated Hooded Jacket from Carhartt. It has everything a young hunter could want - durability, comfort, and style. If you're looking for a reliable and well-made jacket for your little outdoorsman (or outdoorswoman), look no further than this one. 🔗Carhartt Gilliam Insulated Jackethttps://preview.redd.it/nkwzggnjvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8ac560b72162b731e103f7cc19c56e940946dfda I recently got my hands on the Carhartt Men's Black Gilliam Jacket and oh boy, it's been a game-changer for my daily life! This insulated jacket is not just about keeping you warm during winter, but also about providing you with some real protection from unwanted dampness. The DWR finish ensures that you stay dry and comfortable even when the weather takes a turn. One thing I truly appreciate is the zipper closure feature. It's a small detail, yet it does an excellent job of keeping out the cold winds. Speaking of features, it comes with heaps of pockets - some even have protective closures. This means you can carry all your small work essentials without worrying about losing them. Now, let's talk about the cons. Though I'm not usually bothered by minor issues, I must say the length of the sleeves could be a bit longer. It may not be a problem for everyone, but it did catch my eye. All in all, the Gilliam Jacket has definitely earned a place in my wardrobe. Its water-repellent capabilities, the myriad of pockets, and the overall comfort it provides make it the perfect companion for these colder days. So if you're looking for a reliable work jacket that doesn't compromise on style or functionality, this one's a solid choice! 🔗Carhartt Men's Full Swing Steel Jacket in Blackhttps://preview.redd.it/ed4oog2kvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c64e5eca091121737bcf3d52378aee0819058f35 I've been using this Carhartt Men's Full Swing Steel Jacket for a while now, and I must say, it's been a reliable companion through the colder months. Its 3M Thinsulate insulation keeps me warm and cozy even during the harshest winters, and the DWR finish makes sure I stay dry even when caught in a rainstorm. One of my favorite features is the detachable hood. It gives me personalized styling options depending on my mood or weather conditions. The jacket's rugged construction is also worth highlighting, as it's made of stretch ripstop for extra flexibility and freedom of movement. However, I've experienced some issues with the zipper quality. It can sometimes get stuck or hang at every little wrinkle, which can be quite frustrating. Another minor issue is the sizing, as the jacket tends to run on the smaller side, but that's easily fixed by choosing a size larger than usual. All in all, I'm quite satisfied with the Carhartt Men's Full Swing Steel Jacket. Its combination of style, comfort, and functionality makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a versatile and reliable winter jacket. 🔗Carhartt Men's Super Dux Traditional Insulated Coat (Black) - Relaxed Fit, Machine Washhttps://preview.redd.it/or65m7dkvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=223f52063a4f689bc57b66eea80b81090db51c79 I recently purchased the Carhartt Super Dux Relaxed Fit Insulated Traditional Coat to stay warm during those chilly winter days. The coat's 7.75-ounce nylon fabric is treated with Rain Defender durable water-repellent finish, ensuring that I stay dry even in heavy rain. Additionally, the Wind Fighter technology effectively blocks the wind, keeping me cozy and comfortable. One of my favorite features of this coat is the quilt-lined insulation with 100g of 3M Thinsulate, providing excellent warmth. The secure hook-and-loop right chest pocket and zipper left chest pocket are perfect for storing my essentials, while the two snap front lower pockets with side entry hand warmers keep my hands toasty. The interior hook-and-look pocket on the wearer's left side offers additional storage space. I also appreciate the drop-tail hem, which provides extra coverage, and the adjustable hood with chin guard and hidden drawstrings, which protect me from harsh weather conditions. The rib-knit storm cuffs effectively seal out the cold, and the center-front zipper with kissing welt makes it easy for me to put on and take off the coat. However, there are a few downsides to this coat. The side seam zippers, while providing added movement, can be a bit challenging to use at times. Additionally, the double-stitched main seam, although durable, can feel a bit stiff and may require some breaking in. In conclusion, the Carhartt Super Dux Relaxed Fit Insulated Traditional Coat is an excellent choice for those looking for a reliable and warm coat for winter. Its unique combination of features, such as the 7.75-ounce nylon fabric with Rain Defender technology, Wind Fighter technology, and 100g of 3M Thinsulate insulation, ensures that you stay dry and warm in even the harshest weather conditions. Although there are a few minor drawbacks, such as the stiffness of the double-stitched main seam and the occasional difficulty in using the side seam zippers, these issues do not significantly detract from the overall quality and performance of the coat. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this coat to anyone looking for a high-quality winter garment. 🔗Black Men's Rough Cut Jacket by Carhartthttps://preview.redd.it/czaf3k2lvc1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bcc3b43f556beb9649b5c230cd8000bbf290a97c Carhartt's men's Rough Cut Jacket, in black, is perfect for those chilly autumn days. This heavyweight flannel piece, with a sherpa fleece lining in its body and a quilted lining on the sleeves, offers both warmth and style. The original-fit shirt-jac features handwarmer pockets and zippered ones ideal for storing your wallet or keys. If you're an outdoor enthusiast, this jacket can withstand the elements, and after years of use, you'd be hard pressed to find any significant wear and tear on it. Although it's designed primarily for breathability and not as a standalone layer for keeping warm, it pairs beautifully with fleece or down mid-layers. However, despite its high rating, the jacket does have a few minor drawbacks. The first is that the zipper tends to get stuck, particularly near the neck area, often requiring fiddling for a few minutes. Some users also mentioned they found the arms to be slightly short, as well as the jacket being slightly stiff when new. But these issues seem to be more common with the first batch, with newer models appearing to have resolved these concerns. In conclusion, the Carhartt men's Rough Cut Jacket is a high-quality, stylish option that provides warmth and comfort while maintaining a sleek appearance. Its wind resistance and pairing ability with other layers make it an ideal choice for fall and winter outings. And although the stiffness and the issue with the zipper might be present initially, they seem to resolve with time and use. Therefore, I would recommend this jacket to anyone seeking a reliable, durable option for their outdoor activities.
