I've decided to start going to the gym, and since I want to lift weights, I was wondering if some of you know good plant-based protein sources? I have been trying to use beans and lentils more, but I'd like to have some more options.
I'm flexitarian, so I do eat some meat, but my diet is mostly vegetarian. I was considering whey protein, but I'm not sure if I want to commit to it yet.
What are your go-tos for plant-based protein? I hear a lot of recommendations about the Garden of Life Sport, MyPowerLife High Impact Plant Protein, and KOS Organic Superfood Protein. I’m also considering beans, seitan, and tofu.
Any recommendations of either specific proteins or cheap recipes would be really appreciated!

22M I should have gotten it way before but my family couldn't simply afford it. I now want to get it but can afford. How much does it cost and how long does it generally take. I also want to know options according to treatment period since i want to get it off by 2 years (2.5 years at max) when i finish my college. Also i have Heard not all dental clinics are good and picking one is a major desicion. So any recommendation about good clinics in bharatpur chitwan would be appreciated.

So I know Flareon gets a lot of flack as the worst of the eeveelutions for having a poor movepool, poor physical bulk and speed that is in what I call the sweet spot of suck, basically too slow for use on traditional speed teams but too fast for use on trick room teams. Furthermore given its fire type it can not reliable use burn to activate guts so it normal use toxic orb which causes increasingly worse chip damage which when combined with the recoil damage of flare blitz means it will not be long on the field. Now I feel that with the addition of temper flare I feel that it goes a long way into making flareon viable on at least a trick room team. So first max out its best stat attack with 31 IVs, 252 EVs and a helpful nature, which should max it out at a 394 stat. Now Flareon has a rather good special defense so I would just max it out with 31 IVs giving it a 256 Special Defense stat which using an assault vest becomes an effective stat of 384. Now given the assault vest forces Flareon to only run damaging moves. Now to avoid having to split EVs between attack and special attack, I am going to give it the moveset, Facade, Temper Flare, Body Slam and Fire Fang. With attack, special defense and special attack stats and EVs allocated there now are three stats that need to be allocated. First off is speed; with Flareon not being a particular fast pokemon I realized that I could make effective use of minimizing its speed stat which should give 0 IV and EVs and a hindering nature come out to 121. Now given its guts ability I would then Paralyze it giving it an effective Attack stat of 591 and an effective speed stat of 61 which would hopefully give it a low enough speed to be useful on trick room. Furthermore the paralysis does two things, first it boosts up facade to a 140 base power move and second if facade fails around 25% of the time due to full paralysis it lets Flareon use Temper Flare as a 150 base power STAB physical fire type move. As for the rest of the moveset Fire Fang gives both a chance to burn as well as to flinch which gives Flareon slight breathing room against Physical attackers and Body Slam which is really just there to round out its movepool. Finally Flareon has 256 EVs and two stats left to allocate them to, Defense and HP which should be done in a way to shore up Flareon's effective Physical Bulk. Thankfully there is a calculator online that u/Fish___Face made which helped me allocate those final stat points with 148 EVs going to Defense and 108 going to HP. So in summary I would have a Flareon with the following build
Brave Nature, 31 IVs in Attack, HP, Defense and Special Defense, 0 IV in Speed, 252 Attack EVs, 148 Defense EVs and 108 HP EVs, the ability Guts, an Assault vest for a held item and the following movepool of
Facade
Temper Flare
Body Slam
and Fire Fang

Before I get started I wanted to say there was no cheating or emotional manipulation (I hope?) involved. I'm relatively new to dating casually as I had always imagined marrying the person I was dating and thought it would take 1, maybe 2 tries max. After a few bad relationships I realized maybe I wasn't ready to be in one and decided I'd focus on myself and maybe casually date at most (hookups, occasional romantic dates, etc.).
The girl in question (I'll call her Jen) that I was with for a short amount of time is a coworker to both me and my partner (I'll call her Lisa). We all work for the same company, but they are closer as friends because they work on the same team. I had spent time with Jen for about a month or two and thought I might have liked her despite a lot of differences in our interests and personalities. But she ended up turning down my suggestion of possibly being more than just friends, and I was okay with it because I was having fun being single anyways and we had continued being friends and I don't believe there was any awkwardness in our relationship moving forward and there hasn't been any lingering feelings for each other because it was so casual. Also, we never had sex, but we did kiss so I'm bringing this up for my question later.
At one point we had a group outing involving me, Jen, Lisa, and another friend. This created a friend group that I still occasionally hang out with and have done fun outings including some of my other friends, and this is how I started hanging out with Lisa. We had a shared interest event that I invited the group to individually and none of them could make it, but Lisa did end up saying yes to another unrelated outing and we really clicked. Lisa and I had begun hanging out around 2 months after Jen and I decided we would just remain friends. I started spending time with Lisa almost every day because she ended up having a ton of things in common with me to the point where we were basically the same person when we would share details of our lives. It took a couple months to realize we had differences, all this being a silly exaggerated joke to simply explain that this girl is my soulmate and I have been loving everything about her since dating her.
It's only been about 6 months but now things are getting more serious and us dating has been the best relationship I've ever been in, so I wanted to make sure I do things right and be completely open and honest with her. Honesty has never been an issue with me because I'm a very open book, but when it comes to my feelings I've had trouble being open in the past and don't want to make that mistake in my current relationship. I just wanted to know the best way to bring up the past fling with Jen to make sure I'm not lying to her by omission by not disclosing a past situationship(?) with her closest coworker friend. I hadn't thought it was worth bringing up because I hadn't previously thought about anybody my partners had been dating before me because it didn't seem relevant because she was happy with me and that's all that mattered. But another Reddit post made me wonder if this is something Lisa should be made aware of sooner rather than later, especially since she and Jen are pretty close.
So to recap: Jen and I had hung out casually for ~2 months. Near the end of this time, group chat is created including Jen, Lisa, and I. 1 month later Lisa and I start hanging out just us two. 1 month after that, we officially start dating. 6 months later, today happened.
So Reddit, am I overthinking this? Do I just let Lisa know that before we had started dating, Jen and I had hung out a couple times even if there was never any romantic feelings, or is there a more nuanced way to go about it because being too direct may come off as a bit too strong? Is this even worth bringing up? I'd like to know how maybe you'd like to be told this if you were in this situation. Being able to raise Liches instead of Skeletons is completely broken. Any of the other combination artifacts are excusable, but being able to raise a legion of Liches is unbeatable.
That said, it makes me wonder if the Cloak would be allowable if it only maxed out at Wights (or Wraiths). Wights and Wraiths are pretty damn weak for a T3 creature, being the slowest flier in the game, having poor stats, and only making up for it in the slightest with the Wraith Bombing tactic (which can be countered if you have Destroy Undead). But being able to raise a huge army of them could still be broken, as even Zounds Skeletons can be oppressive.
If even Wights were too good, what about Walking Dead and Zombies. Easily the worst T2 creature in the game, being too slow, dealing too little damage, and Disease isn't very impactful. But again, having to deal with Zounds Zombies could be obnoxious.
So, just for discussion, would Cloak of the Undead King be allowed if it didn't cause you to raise Liches? Would it be acceptable if it maxed out at either Wights or Walking Dead? Or would it still be fundamentally broken in ladder play?

Ive been dating this guy for almost a year now. He's almost 30 at this point. I'm 22. Its been great so far. He's met my friends, they love him. I've met his friends, we get along. I've met some of his family. We've been on like 4 or 5 little weekend trips or week trips together. Our relationship has been great for me. I met him last year, as I was going through an awful breakup. He didn't start as a boyfriend, just somebody I met, but he was there when I needed someone to listen, he was kind to me when I needed it and after my ex moved out, he came over and told me he had developed feelings for me and he asked me on our first date. That went spectacularly well and now we're here.
He treats me better than any man I've ever been with before. Hands down. This relationship has brought out sides of me that I didn't know I had. Now I'm into like going out and having fun and I'm into traveling and sports and shit. Like, even sexually this relationship has pulled me out of a rut from my last relationship and has like brought out the dominant sides in me and has gotten me into topping. Like the fact me and him can fuck twice in a day and both cum at the same times?? Never experienced anything like that before.
The problem for me at this point is how well its going. We're almost a year in. At this point he's aggressively talking about and brining up moving in together. Feels like healthy/natural progression of a relationship. But omg i am SCARED about this. Feel like this is going too well. I walk around feeling like i'm in a fairytale with him. This feels like too peaceful of an ending for me to have this early. Part of me feels like its too good to be true and its all going to blow up. I've been working at this little restaurant in a small municipal airport for a year or so and I just don't know if I should stay or not.
The people who work there, other than me(19M) are all 2 or 3 times my age, from 40 all the way to 60's and in between. We are understaffed and all work 6 days a week, and there are usually only 5 or 6 (if that)people working at once and it gets stressful having to do multiple peoples' jobs.
We're next to a park(that was built 7 years on from the inception of the restaurant) and the lady who works the register always complains to the "good customers" about the "bad customers", who she represents as "entitled parents who let their kids run wild in the dining room and trash it, then leave bad reviews". I always get praised for kindness and my attitude in said reviews but I always see the lady in the front being called out for being rude.
I get paid $13/hr for what I do, though I wanna move out of my parents' house and I just don't know if it's feasible nor even worth it mentally to work at this place anymore when. Though I work 6 days a week, it's usually only 5 hour shifts MAX.
I asked to be put on nights(they're only open for nights two days a week lmao) so I could get more hours and this happened for like a week or two and then they started hiring new people and I asked "why am I being taken off night" and the manager said "We're training new people right now" and that was the end of it.
The amount of drama in this place is pretty bad, like every restaurant I suppose, but there's so much infighting and it feels like the whole "We're a family and we love each other through thick and thin" charade they put up is just null and void. Everybody is talking about quitting

Hi guys. Apologies if the question "is the used car market still bad" is asked a lot. I'm not knowledgeable about cars and I view them as more of an appliance to get me from point A to point B.
I'm having a really hard time finding a car I want. I'm going to move back to Chicago proper soon and the car will be street-parked. With my previous car, it got scratched to hell. I initially was looking for a used car, but so many options seem overpriced. I found a 2011 Toyota Corolla with 50k miles for $13,900. I read in a reddit thread that this would have gone for maybe $8k just a couple years back !! I've found other listings from used dealerships that seemed good, but reviews would often indicate major issues with the store, such as wanting you to do a credit check before test driving. I even went to go see a 2017 VW Jetta, 96k miles, $10,500, but when I got to the dealer, they brought out an entirely different Jetta and my dad immediately spotted a significant issue when he opened the hood! Not only has finding a decent used car been a pain, I'm getting the sense that they're generally overpriced at the moment as well.
My parents are the kind of people who only buy new cars because they want to avoid problems with used, so they've been telling me to just buy a new one. I can afford a new car, cash even, but I don't want to drop that kinda money knowing people are going to fuck it up the first month I'm in the city. I was thinking of buying a new Mitsubishi Mirage as a last resort, spend the extra money to have something new and guaranteed to not have a history. They get a horrible rap for being slow, but they save money on gas and are generally reliable. However, I feel even these are overpriced these days as the cheapest I can find one in my area is $19,500. I heard these used to go for $10-13k, ugh.

So I realize spending money on cars is never a wise decision but as someone who enjoys my drive everyday, I wanted to get a sanity check on a purchase I’m considering.
Car is $50K out the door ($30K after I roll in $20K of value from my current car which is paid off). I plan on putting another $15K down and financing the remaining $15K.
Wife (32F) and I (33M) own a house with about $200K of equity and have about $400K saved in our retirement accounts. We make about $270K a year and both max out our 401(k)s and I also do the max into a “back door” Roth each year. We also have a HYSA with 6 months of expenses saved.
After all our bills are paid, we have about $2,500 per month to spend on whatever (this already accounts for groceries, general household goods, etc). With a lot of the income going to the mortgage and 2 kids in daycare. We also save for our kids college (529 accounts).
I wanted to get a sense of how bad an idea it would be to buy this car and finance the $15K for like 5 years with a low-ish payment (probably somewhere around $300 a month). I have a habit of never buying anything because I always think of how much more wealth that money could accumulate for us if I saved/invested it but feel like I want to try and “live a little” now vs only thinking about when I retire.
How bad of an idea is this? Are we doing enough in our current state that I could buy this car relatively guilt free? Would love to hear opinions.

1 year since I switched from 5e to Pf2, and I gotta say that casters actually feel stronger in Pf2 than 5e.
Concentration is gone
5e had a mechanic where most spells with a duration required concentration (unrelated to the concentration trait in Pf2) and you could only concentrate on one spell at a time. Many things could cause you to break concentration and end the spell (e.g. damage forces a save, conditions like incapacitation auto-break concentration). In Pf2 this doesn't exist; you can stack Bless, Invisibility, Haste, Slow, etc. have multiple buffs/debuffs ongoing. The closest thing is spells that require sustain, and you could max out your action economy and have 2 sustained spells at once (even more if with options like Cackle and Effortless Concentration).
No arbitrary house rules that "fix" 5e casting
RAW 5e spellcasting is more powerful than Pf2, but in most games the DM tries to fix this by banning problematic spells, nerfing them, or adding teleportation on all boss monsters once you learn Forcecage. This leads to casters feeling artificially weaker compared to Pf2. 5e has a lot more imbalance which leads to the DM often adding a layer of homebrew rules to balance things, sometimes too much in the other direction.
Control spells still do something on a success
In 5e, the most powerful spells took enemies out of the game on a failed save and nothing on a success. In Pf2, the most difficult enemies will probably at least succeed. Spells like Roaring Applause, Slow, and Synesthesia still have a debilitating effect on a save, so rarely are your turns completely wasted.
Knowing good spells from bad is still important
Pf2 still has a crapload of garbage spells just like 5e. Knowing which spells are powerful and versatile makes you a better caster.
My experience in Abomination Vaults as a resentment witch
I played a resentment witch in AV and went with an extreme minmax approach. Notable spells I always prepared:

• Laughing Fit/Roaring Applause: MAPless strikes are strong, taking out an enemy's reactive strike halves how often they get a MAPless strike per round.
• Slow: taking out 1/3 of an enemy's action is extremely strong, often single handedly won boss fights because it allowed the party to kite in combination with tripping and door slamming.
• Max rank Calm: incapacitates mobs and renders most of them harmless until you kill the other half that succeeded.
• Synesthesia: cripples boss fights by nerfing their AC, speed, offense, and spellcasting.
• In combination with my witch abilities, I was often sustaining Laughing Fit, extending Slow with familiar of ongoing misery, and repositioning myself so enemies either gave up being able to hit me or had to eat multiple reactive strikes to try.

So I'm relatively new to Ironman, I haven't necessarily been super efficient, but my main is maxed though I've never been big on questing. I've mostly been going through my iron with my game knowledge, but I'm running into issues with how to acquire a stockpile of things like seeds or veggies to feed my animals in PoF. Anyone got any good methods of acquiring seeds/veggies/fruits?

A good example I can give are 7 Rings - Ariana Grande and Satisfied Mind - Johnny Cash. Message totally different, and music completely different, but I like both songs.

This is kinda a rant/ questions on if how recoverable a year of bad gpa is. Idk if this is a common occurrence but i feel like i have ruined my chances of getting into a top med school. At the beginning of the school year my dad became homeless and my mom was diagnosed with cancer so i kinda focused on this more than school and other stuff.
As a result my cgpa is a 3.6 and sgpa is a 3.7, and i have done basically no clubs/clinical hours. Like over the entire year i have 30 clinical hours, 20 hours shadowing, and 15 hours in a good insecurity club.
And it’s not like i am unable to work hard. Like in highschool i was in leadership of multiple clubs, spent 15 hours a week in sports and was salutatorian.
Is it still possible to get into a top school with this bad of a freshman year
I’m finally getting back in shape mentally and working ability. Over the summer i have 2 months of volunteering at a clinic for people with no financial aid 5 days a week, and 2 months of doing sythetic biology research.

Hi! New here, a friend recommended this sub after I complained about my bra woes. I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction several years ago. Everything went well in terms of healing, but I find bra shopping to be a real struggle and am hoping for some suggestions. Please let me know if I should add more or less information or if I tagged the post incorrectly.
Background: I had a very large chest pre-op (38H or so, US), and mostly wore Lane Bryant underwire bras because that’s the main thing that fit me. It was impossible (and honestly not really desirable) to recreate my former chest with the implants. Doctors gave me very large silicone implants under the muscle after I did expanders. I don’t remember the exact CCs but I remember my doctor flipping to the far back of the pamphlet. Compared to other friends who have had mastectomies, I had more issues with extra skin and volume and fluid. Overall I think my implants came out very well - I’ve had other nurses and doctors tell me as much. The main lingering thing is that I want to wear a bra all the time, including for sleep, because I find that some mild compression feels better. The muscles can get sore if I go braless for long, thought it’s easy enough to do for a special occasion like a fancy dress.
I’d like to find some nicer bras to invest in. I’ve mostly gotten by with things I’ve grabbed off the shelf at Costco after some department store runs left me teary and stressed. I haven’t really done much online shopping.
Current Needs * I used the calculator and it said I was 38DD/E. I’ve generally not tried traditional bra sizes lately and just stuck to XL sizing. * I cannot do underwire or anything that is significantly structured. I compare my current breasts to already wearing a bra. It’s like I’m looking for a bra to wear over a bra, if that makes sense. They have some give to them, but they mostly stand up on their own and aren’t really squishy. Anything with underwire just ends up riding up over my boobs. * I do like a molded bra. The breasts are slightly misshapen and so something that does the smoothing and molding of a t-shirt bra makes clothes sit much more nicely, especially if they are at all clingy. So finding something with some padding (but absolutely no push-up) is best, as it gives my breasts a more rounded natural shape. I’ll also say that I really prefer when any lining is sewn in, I’ve mostly had removable insert bras and find them more annoying to wash/maintain. * I have more loose skin/fat underneath my arms and around my back. I liken it to my former breasts pulled the skin forward with their weight, and now there’s nothing pulling it so it gets more bulgy easily. Anything smoothing or with extra wide bands would be a plus. One contradiction of that is that I have also enjoyed my new cleavage options, so something that has that side coverage but a deep v in front would be ideal (if it exists…) * Previously I’ve had more success with bralettes, sports bras, or other pull over options, but I really prefer bras that have a clasp in the back for wearing under work tops, etc. They are easier to take on and off. And non-racerback strap options would be good for certain shirts. And soft fabric is very important for skin irritation, etc. I had some fun when I first had my surgery getting “cute” lacy bras, but they are itchy!
Whew that seems like such a long wishlist! I’ve been hiding out in Costco sports bras to avoid this for years, but am ready to try some things again. I realize my entire wishlist may not exist in a single bra, but would love some tips and ideas. I’ve gotten targeted ads for Honeylove, which seemed promising, but not sure what else to look at. There’s a whole new world of bras out there since I last went shopping!
