This is gonna be a long one.
So last Friday, I saw a job post for my niche and yung mga ganung trabaho are really hard to come by. Kaso di ako nakapag-apply agad since may application task and I have to go to the office. I was already late and ang dami ko na rin late and absences lately since I’m so burnt out sa onsite job ko. On top of that, meron pa rin akong remote job. (So currently I have an onsite job and a remote job, both quite demanding for me).
Now going back sa job post na nakita ko, I told my self na I’ll send my application after work/over the weekend pero nagkasakit ako. Been getting quite sick na lately dahil na rin sa pagod. Marami rin kasi ganap sa personal side.
Since I got sick, di ko nagawa yung application. I was able to send it, but I think di ko na-send on time. (It was sa OLJ, na-open ko na yung application before na-deactivate yung job post. Na-submit ko pa yung application pero not sure if i-acknowledge pa nila. Although according sa job post, pasok pa naman sa interview schedule yung submission ko). I’ve also tried reaching out sa other platforms nila that I saw, which is di ko sure kung tama gawin pero I saw some advice na para mag-stand out ka, you should also reach out more directly. I did that since gusto ko rin talaga yung job.
But it still feels like I missed the opportunity. I feel moot point yung ginawa ko and I’m pretty sure nothing will come of it.
I regret na pumasok pa ko nung Friday, I regret I didn’t resign earlier kahit everything and everyone around me says so. I have good savings, a family willing to help, another job that pays better.
I didn’t resign because of the money, but the toll it’s taking on me personally feels like it’s not worth it anymore. I was also thinking of my work mates and what will happen sa project namin if I leave. Konti lang kami and mauubos yung tao. Matatambak sa isa yung trabaho. Pero nalaman ko nung Friday din na aalis na rin naman pala sila pareho. Ang frustrating. Work is work lang talaga. You should think of yourself and yourself only.
Anyway, ang dami ko na nasabi. Pero ayun. How you deal with missed opportunities? I’m really bummed about it.

I've been trying to get more into baking and cooking and I've been considering the KA standing mixer. Mainly because of the various attachments that I can get. Now, most of the attachments have horrible reviews even on KA's website, and they are not cheap. I've also been seeing reviews of the mixer itself saying that it's not as reliable as they used to make them 20-30 years ago and repairs can be pricey. So all recommendations of "get it because I've had it for 20 yrs" are kind of moot.
I wouldn't get the mixer just for mixing batter or dough. I have some basic means for that (old Sunbeam and my hands are still working). I would want the attachments to help me cook, especially meat grinder, shredders, fresh prep, pasta rollers, may be even the ice creammaker. I cook small quantities. Is it worth getting the KA new, or used, or other brand, or nothing at all?
P.S. I'm brainwashed by all KA ads I see, so I know I want it but DO I NEED IT?

I done goofed big time. It was just a silly little crush, it wasn't supposed to crush me like this. It feels like I've been plastered to the floor where my auqat is supposed to be. How did I get here?
A little backstory to put things into perspective. I've been in one long-term and a couple short-term relationships in the past, but I've been out of the dating scene for a couple years now. The last time I fell for a girl was back in uni. We were really close friends, she was like the strings to my guitar--inseparable. Still, there was never a spark early on, at least not in my heart. She was like one of the boys to me and I treated her as such albeit a little more gently.
It was all fun and games till one day she confessed to me about this cute little dream she had. She saw we'd just gotten married and were at her grandparents' place to get their blessings. Won't go into too much detail but there was something about the way she described it, it hit me like a bouquet of roses and unbridled happiness, I was infatuated. There were other things too, but this confession was the proverbial Cupid's arrow to my heart.
We just laughed it off at the time, our faces flushed red with embarrassment, but this little seed blossomed into something beautiful over the next week or so. I'd finally sorted out my feelings and carefully selected the best possible combination of words to say I loved her, and I poured my heart out to her. She was too pious to even consider a haram relationship and I was well aware of that. She was the kinda girl your mom expects you to marry, and so that's what I proposed to her. When the initial surprise and shock wore off, she explained that she was overwhelmed and asked for some days to 'think it over'.
Days slowly turn into weeks without a response. A month goes by and I bring it up again. Conversation turns into confrontation as she reveals she can't marry me. I'm at a loss for words, I mean she's the one who brought love between us. I'm devastated and don't even demand a reason for the rejection, I just awkwardly say something along the lines of 'koi bat nahi' and disappear from view. A couple days later she gets engaged to some dude from their community, she tells me about it like she had no recollection of what'd just happened between us. I later get invited to their wedding where everyone in her family (including the groom) greets and meets me with an odd vibe to them, their eyes tell me they know all my secrets.
Tbh, this whole khuab wali larki ka drama isn't the one tragedy in my life that turned me into damaged goods, it's just the one that made me quit. I quit looking for love, quit social media, quit feeling. Just to clarify, I still had a social circle and I'd hang out with my friends all the time. I just disappeared off the internet. I put all my time and energy into studies and became the topper of my batch. Life still felt empty, but I was winning at least (I think?).
Kher fast forward a couple months into my job, a girl catches my eye. Let's call her Miss Eyes. I think she's super cute but I'm not really looking to catch feelings. Our interaction is limitied to sharing glances every now and then, till one day I gather the courage to approach her. We clicked instantly! We'd a really good time, and suddenly, I've a crush on her (oh no). From there on out, the feelings seemed mutual, we'd start speaking about work and it would gradually steer towards 'teasing' each other. The people around us were catching on too, someone passed a remark like "a boy and a girl can never be friends" while we were talking. Kher we were making progress as friends.
I think to myself, I need to get in touch with her out of work, so I join social media again, start using it for a bit, and send her a request. This is where my downfall begins. She doesn't accept my request. I know for a fact she's active on that platform, so I'm confused now. Should I go ask her? I don't know, don't wanna come off as weird, I mean she's already rejected my request. This little thing puts me through all the six stages of separation. It has me looping all the sad songs I can find, it has me staying up at nights. I'm a wreck over such a little thing. The other day, I go to work and my boss tells me (in the most brotherly way) that I'm too good for her, I'm out of her league, and I should just leave this alone. What?! How does my boss know?! I felt sick to my stomach, like my laundery has been laid out for the world to see. I think my coworkers caught on to what was going on and told my boss everything.
Kher I'm fully ready to be escorted off the premises any day now. Until that, I've this empty feeling in my heart. Why do I have such bad luck when it comes to love? I've been praying long and hard. I just ask God to unite me with my soulmate, I just ask for a halal relationship. My intentions with Eyes were nothing less than a halal relationship. I believe Allah will help me, and I haven't lost hope, but I'm so depressed.
I've realized that I might be desperate for love. Not that I'd marry the first baji who bats her eyelashes at me, but still, how love starved do you have to be to lose sleep, happiness, and your mental well-being over a silly rejection? I feel pathetic. Ever since the whole rejection thing, I've been ignoring Eyes. I tried to talk to her once or twice initially, but I felt she was ignoring me. So we're both ignoring each other I think. I don't hold anything against her, she's a lovely person and she deserves the world.
Even if it did work out, I'm not emotionally stable, man. The smallest things crush me when it comes to love, too much trauma on this heart. I just want to blame someone, something. I just want to shout, anything to just get rid of this resentment for myself, and for life in general.
I know they say love will find you and it probably will find me too. until then, I suppose I will crawl back into my hole, work on introspection and self-improvement. I gotta learn to love myself first before trying to love someone else.

Boards me 94% the lekin ghar waalo ko satisfaction naam ki cheez nhi hai. 11th me band baji padi hai. Abhi finals de ke aaya hoon 11th ke. Bas accounts ka paper bacha hai.
Toh ab aate hai main topic pe. 12th me mujhe kya karna chahiye. Koi tips de do please. School toh non attending hai. Coaching mere yahan commerce ke bas 2 hai. Woh bhi acche nhi hai. Sirf science waale coaching bhade pade h yahan. Online agar koi kar raha hoga class toh pata hi hai ki online me padhai khud se toh hoti nhi hai.
Toh YT pe Rajat Arora ke lectures+ ek offline coaching+ NCERT+ Sample paper enough hai 12th boards ke liye. Extra me Fine arts hai (painting) toh agar uske liye bhi kuch ho toh bata de.

My own questions regarding this topic :
① How much exactly will Zhao profit from the result of this failed Fanwu Campaign from Qin? I have seen many contradicting statements some saying that Zhao will completely fend off this invasion but will also suffer significant casualties that the most they can do after that is retreating back and further strengthening their own defenses, especially around the royal capital, while there are also some statements (mostly in JP articles) saying that they will have enough forces left and instead ride on this momentum to take back many cities include the likes of Gyou, Atsuyo and Ryouyou, effectively rendered all Qin’s victories from Western Zhao Invasion onwards completely moot.

② More importantly, how exactly is Kakukai going to convince the current Zhao king to dispose RBK? Unlike his father, who was so close to dying to his illness anyway, thus he didn’t give any crap on whether or not Zhao will fall in a few years, this guy fully acknowledges RBK’s importance in keeping Zhao, and in extension his reign of terror and hedonism alive, so I still can’t imagine him getting convinced to get rid of RBK. This guy also seems a little bit smarter, more pragmatic and less impulsive than his father so I still can’t cook up any good theory on how this fatal conflict between him and RBK will be depicted. ③ How likely it is for RBK to survive with a writing similar to Ryofui route? In the history we know that Prince Ka will survive and rally the Kingdom of Dai in his futile last stand against Qin. I personally really, really want him to stay alive but at the same time I also can’t imagine any possible way for Hara to permanently write RBK off from the story without killing him (like how he did with Ryofui) AND making him not participating in Prince Ka’s cause afterward. RBK in Kingdom is so loyal to Prince Ka and Zhao that I can’t imagine him just sitting by and watch Ka fights Qin alone, if he’s still alive at that time.
A potential flag for him to finally give up on fighting for Zhao when every higher ups turns against him and potentially killing his closed ones?
The most copium route I can think of atm is that Hara somehow depicts his final betrayal at the hand of Kakukai and Zhao king so horrible that it completely breaks him and makes him finally give up on his goal of fighting for Zhao as a whole. Maybe killing off almost every single one of his close aides in the attempt to get him executed and leaving Kaine alive so he will only have her left. If by the time Kingdom of Dai is going to fall he somehow settled down and maybe created his own family that might be a barely good enough motivation for him to not join Ka in a clearly lost cause against Qin that will kill him and his remaining loved ones. Although tbh I think this kind of ending will enrage a lot of fans for potentially butchering RBK’s character, especially his loyalty towards Zhao and its people, so I don’t think Hara will go with it. But again, without this kind of crackpot copium theory route I just can’t imagine any other way for RBK to survive while also erasing his presence from the story of Kingdom 😢

This is the second time I've had my heart broken by someone of the same sex, but this one stings worse because I was genuinely happy with her over the last three months. It was like, I don't know, an "organic crush," I guess. I tried to convince myself that being internet friends was enough, but when I stumbled upon the playlist she made for her now-girlfriend, it hit me hard and really broke me (SOBRANG OA KO). I ended up video calling my mom. It's the first time I've felt like opening up about this side of me. A part of me wanted to just blurt out that I'm not straight, but instead, I just told her why I was crying.
When I first met this girl, she wasn't my usual type, but her quirks and humor got to me. It was the first time I connected with someone on that level. We flirted a bit at first, at least from my side (TANGINANG KA-DELULUHAN YAN) butyeah eventually, I settled into being platonic mutuals which I think was ok for me until I saw that playlist. I guess I wasn't expecting her to find someone this soon.
So, in the video call, I was already crying because, one, damn, it's happened to me again; I got my heart broken over someone I only knew online. Two, I felt pathetic and foolish because deep down, I knew what we were: just internet moots. I didn't really get to know her on a deep level, I guess I romanticized a person again. And three, I can't even hate her because I did this to myself.
Mom comforted me... until she said, "Lalaki lang 'yan." DAMN. I don't know what's worse: getting your heart broken over unrequited love or not having the courage to tell your mom that you're not crying over a guy, but over someone of the same sex.
A little background: we're a family of Christians, and my family is really against same-sex relationships. Because of that, I can't imagine myself fighting for my love like us against the world if I ever get into a serious same-sex relationship. There's this strong connection with me and the church (like all my relatives were from this church), and there's also the guilt from internalized homophobia which was bc of this religion. I hate it.
So, I don't know why I'm crying over this when, even if things worked out with her, I wouldn't be able to fully embrace it. I guess for me, it's easier to cry over unrequited love than to face the reality of that love. I know the latter would be more painful if it happened to me.
I wish there would come a time when I could come out to my mom, and she would accept me for not being straight. But right now, I know it’s not possible in this universe. Haha, I hope in another universe, I come from a Christian family that’s accepting of the queer community, and I can love a girl openly (who also liked me back), without carrying this church guilt. ☹️
