So, this may be a niche question, but any assistance would be extremely helpful.
I am helping my mom with her PSLF process, and she is currently at 120 TEPSLF and 41 PSLF payments these were listed as eligible and qualifying by Mohela before the May 1 shutdown. Thus, we are only waiting on the IDR one-time adjustment.
Now, here comes the niche part.
She works at a church (United Methodist Conference), however, this evening they decided to leave the conference (this is a highly political and contentious issue). Nevertheless, they plan on joining the Global Methodist Conference on July 1, 2024. She will still be working for a church, which according to IRS guidelines is automatically a 501c3, but unlike the United Methodist Conference the Global Methodist Conference does not have a group ruling for 501c3 status.
Thus, my question is 2 parts. (1) Does it even matter that the church is going through this transition since she has already submitted the paperwork for PSLF and the necessary 120 payments are already listed as eligible and qualifying? Thus, she is just waiting on the IDR one-time adjustment. (2) Does anyone have a similar experience with a church that transitioned to a different denomination/conference? According, to their accountant their EIN will not change, they will simply be asked for a change of name via the IRS. I hope this means that the process for her PSLF is easier.

Feel free to rip on me. It’s been a recurring thought I’ve been having. My ex dumbed me last July. We didn’t date for very long. Maybe 5 months. She broke up with me through text after I got back from visiting my father. I think she is highly avoidant. Maybe covert tendencies. After she broke up with me I went back to help my father before he died. I ruminated very hard and was extremely isolated. I felt over it for a time and we talked a few times but she wouldn’t get on the phone for a real conversation about what happened. Now that I’m back I have this strong urge to have the conversation again. I’m not sure I even want her back. I do but I know it would be hard and am not sure how she really feels. She knows how badly she hurt me because I wrote a letter a few months after break up. I also think she may have went back to her ex.
I’m tempted to go to her job and try to have a conversation with her. How bad of an idea do you think this is guys? Has anyone done this? I don’t want to be mean to her I just need her honesty. I tried to find closure on my own but I just have not been able to. I texted her recently and she responded initially but then didn’t respond after the next text.

Hi people. Last Sunday I (31M) had a BBQ with my mother, sister, and my sister's friend (22). My mom knows I want to get married and that Sunday I got bombarded with details about my sister's friend. It looks like we're quite compatible, we like the same food, have similar hobbies, want couple of children and we'd raised them quite similarly. I am in the market for a jackhammer, and I like to do my research before I go buying anything regardless of the price level or whether I buy used/new, etc.. On HD's website, you can find two quality points - cheap jackhammers and expensive (name brand) jackhammers. In this specific comparison, the cheaper jackhammer actually has more impact energy than the expensive one. This also is a rather generous comparison - there are "name brand" (e.g. makita, bosch, hilti) jackhammers on HD's website that are double triple, maybe quadruple the cost of the expensive option I picked, which was already triple the cost of the cheap version I picked. And yet, the cheap ones don't manage to rise past ~$300.
Now, I know capitalism does some dumb shit sometimes, but brand loyalty in my experience is not worth 5x-10x the cost of the off brand product - what I mean is, I think it's pretty rare to see brand names try to squeeze that much overhead out of their brand loyalty. Personal experience and intuition tells me that there is some feat or product of engineering that makes the expensive versions worth their salt, at least to some degree. But I for the life of me cannot seem to figure out what that difference is that makes the name brands better, when just looking at the spec sheets.

None of this has any proof aside from DDs own videos and account.
From what I've heard, the UK criminal system doesn't have a statute of limitations. You can also (according to Google) report crimes anonymously.
Feasibly, could someone anonymously report the abuse that DD claims they've gone through? I mean, it's supposedly only 10 years since the kidnapping thing, right?
Wouldn't this prove once and for all if their kidnapping was real? There's supposedly a paper trail via messages of someone confirming it and DD claims they remember their faces and names.
Say someone did do this, would DD be held liable if it was proven they lied about a crime? Would the reporter be held liable if it didn't pan out?

There is no real point to this beyond a general warning not to trust anyone and not to be stupid like me. People will screw you over every single time. Just because they've come from the CA community doesn't necessarily mean they're decent people (although most of us are!) When you are badly in need, though, don't sell intellectual property on the basis of big promises. They'll turn out to be lies and you will end up with your heart broken.

So, genocide. If you're here, you probably know that people have a lot of varying thoughts about how it exactly works. a lot of people blame Chara, or the fallen human, which is only partially fair, but we'll get to that. What I want to yap about now is the Emotion theory; it's got a few names, but the base idea is that Frisk, the player character, does or doesn't have a say in the actions they take in UNDERTALE. This is, like, a proper essay on the topic, so really, yapping incoming.
first, we'll talk about geno. in neutral and pacifist, Frisk is a lot more expressive and emotive, at least according to the charrator text (if that's any point, really.) Say, their face scrunching up at papyrus's spaghetti, answering questions mid fight or making decisions, or the questionable situation in true lab with snowdrake's mom and "not saying that", which is already a situation in it of itself. we'll come to that, coming back to genocide, frisk, on the surface, doesn't seem too emotive, not partaking in puzzles and such. this is, to my understanding, is a point of evidence to say that frisk has less input or control in genocide, pinning the blame on the player as the villain. this is also contrast with their, in the same genocide route, making a "creepy face" when talking to flowey, and smiling at encounters after ruins, which I interpret to mean that they do, in fact, feel emotion regarding the genocide. thus, the player themselves isnt "forcing them" to do it.
Getting back to the true pacifist True Lab encounters, with the snowdrake mom fight being my point of interest. the describer text, which we will say is chara due to the genocide new home texts indicating such, seem very confused in true lab, not fully understanding what's happening. if you choose to heckle, they will talk about how you berate her and so forth, until suddenly backtracking- "what? you didn't say that?"
with how chara seems to react to this, having a warped or underinformed understanding of frisk's actions, it's safe to assume that they aren't omniscient regarding it all. thus, they must be talking to frisk themselves when saying what they're doing; they can't know, and are making observations and educated guesses in-the-moment: watching frisk's face scrunch up when eating the spaghetti, relaying what they hear frisk say to people. that said, with the aforementioned point that the player isn't a canon force in the game, who are they talking to? my best guess is frisk themselves: either simply explaining what they're doing to the unaware frisk, or acting as the outside impression for frisk, who doesn't seem the most expressive outside of chara saying what they do; again, outside of narrator text, the ONLY emotion we see frisk have is during genocide with the smiling.
Let's recap all the information provided, obligatory TLDR:
frisk, based on how they act in genocide and pacifist, is, in lore, unaware yet controlling of their own actions.
the player, based off previously stated information, has no canon influence on frisk's actions or decisions, beyond pure game-play mechanics.
Chara, according to the true lab text, isn't "part of" frisk or omniscient to their actions, and is pretty much going on-the-fly when it comes to text, relaying frisk's actions to them while acting as the outside emotion, though not perfect.

My daughter's mom and I both share 50% custody of our soon to be ten year old daughter. We've been broken up and co-parenting for 8 years now. There are no feelings there so please don't think there is a jealousy issue.
Her mom has a boyfriend she moved into my daughter's and hers home after only being with him for 8 weeks. I asked to meet him like I have other partners and she refused, saying he was very reclusive. I asked for his name and she refused, saying he was very private.
Red flag after red flag started popping up over the coming 8 months, including my daughter telling me she isn't allowed to talk about him with me.
Finally a few weeks ago my daughter tells me that he makes mommy cry and is very mean. She says mommy thought I may know what car he drives... so he bought a new car.
I finally decided I need to know who this guy is now that my daughter has said he is mean to her mom. So I did an investigation and got his name.
I did a background check on him and found that he was arrested in 2021 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary with a deadly weapon, stalking, felony battery against a family member and several other things. All charges were dropped.
Then there was a battery on a household member charge from just a few months ago while he was with my daughter's mom.
I requested the police report for both incidents.
In 2021 he broke into the home of an ex with a gun. He then proceeded to beat both of them with the gun. Then he racked a round into the chamber and held the gun up to the exes head, before beating the man and her some more. The man sustained a fractured skull and had to be airlifted to a hospital. The ex sustained a broken hand and lacerations on her face.
In the incident with my daughter's mom, he beat her in the face, choked her and kicked her. When she tried to facetime her dad for help, he ripped the phone from her hands, hit her again and then dragged her across the floor by her hair, ripping a chunk of her hair our.
My daughter was not present for it and my co parent refused to pursue charges.
I met with an attorney to see what I could do to get my daughter out of there. She said that none of the charges mattered because they were dismissed. In the 2021 incident, the guy was beat so bad he had brain damage and didn't remember anything. The girl wound up getting back with the guy and refused to assist prosecution.
Because there are no convictions, none of it can be used in court.
So until he beats my daughter or kills her mom.... there's not a damn thing I can do to keep him away from my daughter.
I feel so incredibly disappointed in our legal system.

my friend Mya hooked up with 3 of my boyfriends and it was kind of recent. A couple days ago i found out she was talking shit so instead of confronting her i just hooked up with her man i mean my man now. His name is Liam and he's actually one of my ex's not one she hooked up with. Now me and him are dating and Mya wants to fight me after school tomorrow and i will cause i know damn well that i can beat her fugly trugly ass. Update you guys tmr?

I am a 25F and I am in about 20k debt due to my poor financial decisions and my family. I enable their addictions and the fact they can walk all over me. I know that.
When I was 18, we were in a small two-bedroom apartment. I was young, didn't do too well in school (we took in my cousin when she was a baby and I had to basically mother her when I got out of school), and so I went to work immediately. I got into hostessing and worked my ass off for overtime constantly. My mom lost her job due to her health and I had to take up the helm.
Every dime I had, my parents begged for. I trusted them that they paid the rent and utilities, since they wouldn't screw me over if the home was in my name, right? Of course, they screwed me over. I found out that not only my dad had started abusing narcotics, but my mother too. I couldn't let them fall out, I loved them. I love them. So I worked even more, becoming a waitress and we stayed in a motel after our eviction, until family graciously took us in. I worked everyday. Every hour I could, and I had basically isolated myself to my job alone. My parents got my checks, my every cent, and to this day it's still like that.
We had to move around until I found a place that I didn't need to qualify moving in for. Even if rent is more than it's worth, it's all we have. I tried going to classes, but to avoid being homeless, I took out student loans and used them for our necessities, while I had aid to pay for my classes. I couldn't finish my degree because my circumstances weren't too great and I was left with more debt than I could handle.
My brother, who doesn't work either, is in his twenties as well, and he started abusing pills too. That's where all my money goes, to their habits, and I don't know how to leave. They get paid every month for their own benefits and they blow it all instantaneously on drugs. Screw my debt. Screw my ruined credit. My checks are used up within days, and I have to feel an incredible amount of anxiety every time bills come up because I hope to God they don't do anything stupid so I can pay for things. I feel like I'm barely scraping by, keeping my head above water by just an inch.
I don't think I ever grew up, and I don't know how to be an adult. In a world full of quick knowledge too, I don't even know where to begin learning.
I don't know where to start. I don't have any friends that can house me. I don't know how to drive. I don't know how to move on or save without them finding out.
I'm utterly miserable and I'm in a job that I can't leave as well, because it's my one means of safe income. They drive me to and from work everyday and my account is usually overdrafted so I wouldn't be able to even get a rideshare. My mom holds my cards and she keeps telling me they'll get help and be better.
I'm done hoping that they'll change and see that they're hurting me. I'm tired, and now I want a plan to leave. I just want to be happy and independent. I'm terrified of change, but I just wanted to tell someone, anyone, that I'm going to try to get my circumstances under control.
