Hi, I'm op, I have an eating disorder. (Hiiii op) First time posting so here we go.
It started when I was 15ish? The pro-ana pro-mia blogs of aincent internet, Tumblr, is where i spent most of my after school life. Continued for a while, I looked fine. Cried when I ate a bite of cake for my birthday. Usual teenager things.
18 years old I get diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Listen, I'm not sure what happened, I just exploded. Insulin? Idk makes you swell like a balloon or something. I ended up gaining over 100 lbs before I even knew it. So fast i didn't even notice those weren't injection scars, they were stretch marks. Two years go by now. Having to balance blood sugar, eating enough to keep myself from going low, not too much. Binging, purging, and restricting suddenly became a LOT harder. Binge? High blood sugar. Purge? Risk going low. Restrict? Go low.
Eventually, I learned/realized that one of the reasons I wasn't gaining weight before is that undiagnosed diabetes is weight loss. From 20-26 I battled what has been dubbed as Diabulimia. This is the practice of not taking or restricting insulin. At the expense of eyes, toes, kidneys, and of course, with all eating disorders, your life.
I recently was told that I am showing signs of diabetes in my eyes, meaning that if I don't stop soon I will lose my vision.
I've been better with taking the insulin while reverting to pre-diabetes eating disorder habits now that technology has gotten better to keep my blood sugar normal. Only occasionally relapsing into the Diabulimic stuff.
I'm not sure exactly what the point of this post was. Maybe to raise awareness? So many endocrinologists simply aren't aware of this epidemic. I am very fortunate for my current doctors who haven't treated me like a 'bad' diabetic. They see this for what it is, an eating disorder. Thanks for letting me talk:/ I love yall🖤

Hi all,
I've got an Emby server running on my Windows 10 PC, and I've got the Emby iOS app installed on my iPad Pro (all OS's and Emby apps are up-to-date). I'm prepping for an upcoming trip and thought I'd migrate some shows and movies from my Emby server to the iPad, and while it is technically working, it is REALLY slow to transfer. I don't have a stopwatch or anything, but I would guess that it's averaging about an hour to download a single movie, and nearly that long per TV episode. I've set the downloads to not do any transcoding - it should be a quick transfer over my local Wifi, but instead it's moving at a glacial pace.
Any tips on what I can do to correct this would be appreciated!

Hey guys, making my pure into a zerker. I’ve done a lot of research myself but was wondering what your experiences with zerker builds were. What were some pro tips or mistakes you felt like you made along the way? Any quests you’d recommend to do (or not to) for def? Gear recommendations that might otherwise be overlooked? I’ve got the generic stuff sorted, just want to hear some stories from some experienced zerkers that want to share!

Can someone give me some tips and tricks for the Sofirn SP36 Pro? I'm a brand new Sofirn user, and I'd like to know all of the lights controls (in a simpler way than the flowchart, lol), so I figured flashlight was a good place to ask!

It's good. I've always had a soft spot for RPGs with big casts of quirky characters, it's why I like Fire Emblem and Trails so much. This certainly scratches that itch, I liked a lot of the designs of the cast and they were mostly fun, or failing that inoffensively forgettable. I beat this game far faster than I usually beat games of this scale, likely because there was always something to work towards, always a character to unlock. Having a tangible goal right in front of you, or something to look forward to like a new party member really did wonders for the addiction factor of this game.
Combat was pretty decent, usual fare. I greatly appreciated that those who are underleveled caught up quick, I was able to give just about every battle party member a try at one point or another and while some are certainly better than others only 1 or 2 felt outright useless. Autobattle came in handy but I really, really wish they didn't use up the battle items at the first opportunity, it was just wasteful honestly.
I liked the story as well, the three protagonists are all cool but my favorite character was probably Perrielle, she more or less felt like the real hero of the story, and I liked her relationship with Nowa. The plot was certainly standard but that's hardly a crime. Seign turned good maybe a bit too quickly, almost felt like they halfheartedly dangled a bit of the Jowy drama in front of us before giving up on that and just having him and his crew join the good guys without much friction involved. Marisa felt a biiit out of place I'll admit, like the Runebarrows really only serve as sidequest-y dungeons rather than the crux of the plot so her role as their protector didn't really serve the greater goal of defeating Dux Aldric. That said I liked her character, and her posse of friends for the most part. Nowa is fine, a standard JRPG hero but he has some fun quirks, I especially like how into Beigoma he got. Character wise, that's a fun trait, I like how he's not afraid to get hammy. There are a lot of characters introduced near the end and a few bizarre moments but nothing outright bad in my opinion. Maybe a bit nonsensical but this is a JRPG we're talking about.
Mini games kinda sucked lol. If I didn't have to do basically the whole Beigoma sidequest to unlock all the characters I never would have bothered. Same with the cooking, to be honest, mashing A and guesswork make up the crux of their gameplay mechanics. Sand racing was tolerable, if only because I only did it twice, once for the plot, the other to unlock Scarlet. I honestly didn't even do the Egg foot Races or the Plays and I don't feel like I'm missing much. The War Battles were an acceptable interlude but hardly riveting.
I would really like to see a sequel to this game. I think it's flawed but enjoyable and that there are a lot of cracks to fill. Make Beigoma more fun, would probably have to revamp it entirely. Make cooking a bit more of a challenge (Pro tip just make the Omlet the first meal and the Coconut water the last, find any judge's favorite for the middle. Literally worked every time). Balance out the party, be a bit more ambitious with the storytelling. What I see here is a game like the First Suikoden that is just begging for the Suikoden 2 to come out and cement itself as an all time classic.
For now, game's good. Would recommend for fans of the genre

I'm in my 30s and trying to lose weight while also making permanent changes to my every day diet. Today was my first full day of eating everything according to my new 1200 calorie day and I was full by dinner time. I ate about half my dinner and feeling bloated the rest of the night. I'm trying to incorporate good foods but I need to eat more than I usually do to get the correct calories it seems. I do a little cardio and account for that too. So to start, my assistant manager just left which would make me the "manager" on one of the weekend shifts. This was the FIRST shift I had to work since they left. It was overall quiet due to it being mothers day. (Not to mention working in a skate shop doesn't draw a whole lot of women unless they're shopping for their kids) I was helping someone at my register when i heard my coworker ask me if there was a way to open the register. I said no (management is quite strict) and asked why. Apparently this woman was not happy with her change (?) idk i don't understand this concept. This woman looked me dead in my face and said "that coin is disgusting and I am pregnant. I will not be risking the health of me or my baby when I'm due in a month." change is change brother. the value doesn't change. I kind of looked at this woman like 'wtf' but she kept this look on her face like i was lower than her.
At this point i know she's going to be a problem and i just didn't want to deal with her frankly. So i open the till and pull out another coin. I look her dead in the face and ask "is this good enough for you?" (I'd like to preface by saying i am the last person who would be disrespectful or condescending in any way. i don't get upset very often at all) to which she mumbles an 'mhm' and walks away.
Why pay in cash if you think change is dirty? just pay by card instead.
I had gone up to the other staff and asked if they had spoken to her before she came up to the registers. one of my coworkers had said she kept asking for shoes in the same size after she had said she no longer wanted them. (this was multiple times for the same shoe. she had left the store twice i believe and asked for shoes a total of four times) my other coworker followed up by saying she was also very demanding of him as well.
I will add again that this woman was still extremely rude to my coworker at the registers. she told her to fold the clothing up before putting them in the bag. (there's security tags still on the clothes and she won't remove them until after the payment has been complete)
Either way in all of my years in retail i have never seen someone actually be so disrespectful to every single member of staff working that day.
Pro tip: just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you can look down on KIDS for trying to make a living :)

long story short I want to uninstall airpod drivers, but when I restart the pc they are back
I'm trying to use my airpods as a headset, but the mic and sound cant work at the same time, its one or the other. Other people have had this problem, and a recommended fix was to uninstall all of the airpods-related drivers, restart the pc, reset the airpods, and pair them again to the computer.
After I uninstall all of the drivers, the airpods are no longer listed in the bluetooth settings page. But, when I restart the PC, the option to connect to the airpods is back, and all of the drivers are also back under device manager. If I removed the airpods from the computer before I uninstall the devices, I no longer have any options to uninstall the drivers in device manager, even when I show hidden drivers.
I am just trying to get sound and my mic on my airpods to work simultaneously, so if any of you have advice on how to fix this problem or any other tips, it is much appreciated

I need urgent help. I've upgraded my old system to an ASRock B650 Pro RS Mobo, Gskill Trident Neo Z5 2x16 RAM and Ryzen 5 7600 CPU.
I'm not well informed in PC building so I took it to my local PC repair shop. Although the Windows located in the SSD wasn't detected for some reason, we had to to a clean install and it started working. Right after that he went into the BIOS to adjust the XMP profile settings for the new RAM. However, after upping the DRAM frequency PC shut down and didn't boot for a few seconds. After going back to the BIOS menu, he decreased it more but this time the PC didn't boot up at all, despite clearly having power (fans were spinning, ram and gpu RGB was working).
He tried a few methods such as taking out the CMOS pill and putting it back, inserting a single slot of RAM, but nothing has worked. He said the RAM might be damaged, which was a shock to me because there weren't any warnings whatsoever on the BIOS menu before adjusting dram frequency. He said I have to buy a new pair of RAM if the higher frequency somehow killed it. He said he'll look more into it overnight and send it to another PC technician that specializes in motherboards. I'm in an absolute dread please give me any tips regarding what to do, I truly hope it's not a hardware problem, I can't afford not having a PC right now and currently don't have enough money for a new pair of RAM, I literally bought these last week.
Tl; DR:

New DDR5 RAM inserted on a new b650 Mobo
Upped dram frequency after fresh windows install
Don't work and throw me into the BIOS menu.
Decreased the dram this time but the PC won't boot up. The red light on Mobo next to the RAM slot keeps turning on and there is no display despite the gpu and CPU fans are working
Took out the CMOS battery, single stick of RAM and tried rebooting it, nothing worked
PC repair guy says RAM might be damaged, says PC will stay there overnight and if he can't fix it he'll send it to a motherboard expert.

Hello, I’m coming here as a bit of a last resort. This is my first time building and even owning a PC so I’m not the most well versed when it comes to this stuff. I spent a lot of time doing research and learning, and even followed a video guide when building. Everything was going smoothly however I’ve now run into an issue:
So after successfully building my first PC with no issues I downloaded the windows 11 installation files onto a flash drive, and set up windows 11 (without a key) on my new system. The next day I began to set up all the other after-build things like downloading the drivers for the motherboard and the gpu and changing a fan speed and the xmp in the bios, I also went ahead and downloaded coretemp. At some point I went AFK for no more than an hour and when I came back I noticed my mouse was laggy, tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and anything else to make sure it wasn’t a fault on the mouse (this is where the problems began). I realized windows 11 itself had froze, so I turned off my pc and booted it back up, loaded it up and was able to log into windows fine and then maybe 2 minutes later, it did the exact same thing. laggy mouse cursor and then total freeze. Another 3-4 times of this happening I had the blue troubleshooting screen pop up in which it gave the option to hard reset the pc. Seeing as I didn’t really have anything to lose data wise, I figured I might as well and just start from the beginning again. Booted it up to the motherboard manufacturer screen popping up and pc continuously resetting, realized I had to reinstall the windows on the flash drive again, did that, and now when I go to install windows 11 again the same way I did the first time, it just freezes. My cursor doesn’t move and the screen is just stuck. The farthest it got to was “Getting files ready for installation: 45%”. Now it won’t make it past “Copying Windows files”.
I’ve tried setting the bios back to default and pretty much every option on the troubleshooting screen of windows that pops up when I reset it, to no avail. I wiped the SSD clean as to possibly purge any files from the original install of windows maybe somehow still messing with something? didn’t work.
Could it possibly be a hardware issue with one of my components causing the pc to freeze? Is there ant way to check? I honestly don’t know, I’m a bit out of my element here and looking for any and all support/recommendations. I’d be shocked if anything was broken as everything was bought new and the pc initially was running fine.
