What I've been doing that seems to work for me is plug in what I'm going to eat into Nutritionix, get a rough estimate of the carbs, and cross reference that carb number to about how many units of Humalog it takes me to not spike or go too low on prior days. On days where I'm eating a repeat meal, I scroll back through my meals, find the meal, and cross reference the meal time with the Libre numbers to find how many units I took and if it was in the ballpark. Timing also seems to matter for me, for example, a ham and cheese croissant with a grande cafe latte requires about 6 units of humalog in the morning vs say 3 or 4 to consume the same thing in the evening.
I used to also plug in the carb number into the Libre app, but I stopped doing that a few months ago when I realized the meal contents mattered (pasta vs a sugary beverage), which the Libre app doesn't seem to have a great way to track.

I’m not very creative when it comes to usernames. I’ve tried looking for inspiration by scrolling through artists on IG and TikTok, but all the usernames I’ve found are just a bunch of random letters and numbers and words that don’t make sense.
I’m not entirely sure what kind of username that I want but I definitely want it to be creative and readable.
I don’t really wanna use my name or nickname, but maybe a shortened version of my nickname, Pip.

Somebody suggested to rant my whole experience out in a previous post so I might just do all that.
When we first started dating I just came out of a relationship which I was still processing and healing from. This former relationship was also a lot made up of me being there for my former partner as she was going through some severe health issues and depression.
Yet concerning the partner I have been for the last 1 1/2 years - she pushed me in any way to pursue this relationship. She even said in one of our last conversations that she is proud that she was able to manage to make this relationship happen in the first place, that she managed to make me fall for her and that there is „love“.
Right now I’m in a rather angry or destructive mood hence the post. Yet all the things she criticised about me, all the things she said that I was lacking in. Especially in the beginning saying stuff like „you are not commited enough“ or „you have commitment issues“.
Fast forward to almost a year later she robbed me of every sense of self integrity I had left. She made me feel like I was inherently not good enough. I can still feel the pain in my chest from one of our fights about god knows what. In that moment I actually felt and believed every single word she was telling me, I felt wrong as a person to my deepest core.
Luckily I have ended the relationship some weeks ago and told her nobody is allowed to shun away my inner light from myself. That nobody is allowed to break my spirit and break my inner most core.
This is not even the tip of the iceberg of it all. I sincelry hope I can let it all out and at some point give you all a bigger and more broad picture of my experience.
Yet what I’m trying to formulate is that I made the experience that it is always better to leave that person for good. I sometimes come across posts on here of people trying to figure out or making a certain type of relationship with a pwBPD work.
Let me tell you, in any case, no matter how much you try to convince or try to do good or make them feel better, be there for them or be their caregiver - you will not succeed.
My ex pwBPD was even asking me at some point if I can be their new father as they inherently struggled with the abandonment of their father waking out on the family when they were young.
You will not turn them around and make them happy. Ever. Sad to hear, I know, but his is the truth.
Whatever I did for them it was never enough. They were always looking for something else that was lacking in their life.
I strongly encourage you to take the step and distance yourself and take that kind of energy and use it for strengthening yourself. Use all that energy you accumulated for them to give it to yourself.

It takes several more tries with the bridge crew chuckling at things before suddenly the link is accepted to find a thoroughly unamused Asian Man glaring at them. The man then lets out a breath. “Two hundred and eighty six separate calls with the image of a woman presenting herself. I have never been simultaneously flattered and insulted.”
“Spoiled for choice sir?” Demon asks.
There is a moment of a pause as the man’s eyebrow quirks in frustration. “Yes.”
“I’m afraid it’s a common issue the galaxy over sir, we humans are hot commodity. Even a hideous slob of a man would find himself inundated with attention. A competent man with goals, ideals and motivation? A feast before the starving sir.” Hoagie says.
“Clearly Officer Eastman.” He says before relaxing a little. “I am Observer Wu. I have been charged by the nations of Earth with baring impartial witness to what has occurred the galaxy over. I have already spoken to several pockets of humanity, including but not limited to three other space stations, the newly risen nobility of Vucsa and of course, The Dauntless and the Embassy on Centris.”
“So what are you looking for? We’ve sent back numerous eyewitness testimonies and as much in the way of resources and proof of our claims that can survive the damaging effects of Cruel Space. A fair portion of exotic material and cadavers were actually supplied from this very station. What more do you need?”
“I just wish to speak with people. I will be communicating with and travelling to every major locations where humans have touched in the galaxy. This station alone contains a permanent population that rivals several first world nations on Earth with an industrial capacity well beyond what those nations can provide.”
“Can it now? This station is self sustaining? Food, air and other such supplies?”

Food is grown in hydroponics on such a scale we outright export it. The mining provides the metals and other materials for further products and again, hydroponics of a different source give us oils which leads to plastics, cloth comes in too. “And the control of the station?” He asks and Minisi pokes at a few of them with her tentacles to get people to shift away. “And you are... the woman in charge I believe?”
“Indeed. Although not for too much longer. I’ve had my fun but the station has become a tedium. I will admit that your species showing up has broken up the monotony a touch, but only enough to give me enough time to really make sure my heiress has this place on lock and with an unmatched command crew.”
“And you’re fine with them having that level of power?” Observer Wu asks and Minisi has a tentacle point right down at Hoagie.
“This one has been in charge of over ten percent of my station. The most productive Agriculture Decks we have are in his power, both officially and unofficially. The businesswomen there fear the flamingo shirts!”
“Hey, I got flowers on at least half of them.” Hoagie protests and she turns to him.
“Hey hey hey! Station boss or not, no horning on my hubby!” Zsebreza says buzzing into view and pressing back on the woman who leans back in amusement.
“You Charbis are so easy to rile up...” She says fondly as Zsebreza sheathes her weapon while still giving her a massive stinkeye.
“So that video was not an elaborate prank in horrific taste.” Observer Wu notes.
“Reality is stranger than fiction sir.” Hoagie notes.
“Indeed it is, and now that you’ve confused me, I am going to return the favour.” Observer Wu states and Hoagie looks from side to side and everyone else is equally baffled.

There’s a great deal of play and movement around the Charbis Bee woman, the ears are a massive tell on the Ikiya-Mas girl and the Mnenmi seemed utterly passive, in control. Of course Mother Eastman was an open book to his practised eye, worried, putting on a brave front but the kind of woman who had given up her life to raise a child properly and was now chasing him out of not only maternal duty, but a sense of emptiness now that her great struggle was finished.

She had been hired and remained hired at a moderately successful Bistro for over a decade, even being held on because she had a teenage son at home working a part time to help out.

Need URGENT help with my qualitative study! My dissertation is a QSLR. I have finished writing my dissertation and need help figuring out a few numbers. I am in a clinical program, statistics and research is absolutely not my forte. The program I used was MAXQDA, it was highly recommended to me for my qualitative thematic analysis. I had help to run the analysis, and the trainer gave me the codes, results, etc. in excel and word docs. Now I need help plugging in certain numbers into my research. I've reached out to the guy I worked with for help, unfortunately it seems he is too busy and sent me a spreadsheet that I have no idea what I am doing with. He understands I do not have much understanding of statistics or working with data. I really need someone who can help me sort out some key numbers. My understanding is that the data is right underneath my nose based on all the docs the analyst sent me, but I just don't know how to make sense of it! However the one thing I can never get over is Mao's seeming cult of personality and willingness to allow 45 million to die in the great leap forward. My co-founder and I were recently successful in acquiring 50 people to the private beta of our new consumer fitness/gaming app FitHero so I figured I'd share what worked for us in case it helps others.
First, a little background...
The idea for FitHero was born out of a desire to apply gamified techniques to the health and fitness journey.
Fitness can often feel like a grind, with progress taking time to become visible. We wanted to create an app that helps users see and feel improvements, even when they’re not immediately noticeable in real life.
Additionally, we wanted to leverage AI to provide a unique, interactive experience that benefits users’ fitness journeys.
I remember one day at the gym, feeling frustrated with my progress, and thinking, "There has to be a way to make this more fun and engaging."
That's when the idea of battling AI-driven villains as part of a fitness routine really clicked for me.
Actionable Step: Define Your Inspiration and Goal

• Identify the core problem your app solves and how it can uniquely benefit users. Understand the emotional and practical needs of your target audience to ensure your app resonates with them.

Defining Our Target Audience
As someone deeply involved in health and fitness, with notable achievements in CrossFit and a lifelong passion for gaming, I built FitHero for people like me.
This approach ensured that the app met the needs of our initial user base effectively. I figured if it was something I would use and enjoy, there would be others out there just like me.
For consumer-focused startups, especially those being bootstrapped, I believe it’s essential for the founders to be the target audience. It allows you to move MUCH quicker and not be overly concerned with market research.
I tested this assumption by talking to friends at the gym and fellow gamers, asking if they would find an app like this useful and fun.
Actionable Step: Know Your Target Audience

• Build an app that you would use yourself. Leverage your own experiences and preferences to define the initial target audience. Conduct informal research through conversations with friends, family, and community members who share similar interests.

Early Marketing and User Acquisition
Initially, we needed to validate that the primary engagement loop was, well engaging 🙂.
We started by reaching out to friends in various fitness communities who also had an interest in gaming - literally DMing them and asking them to give our alpha a shot. Here was the message:

I know it's a little cheesy, but this approach helped us secure the first 15 to 20 users.
To hit our goal of 50 for our beta, we capitalized on the timing by releasing it at the beginning of the year (new years resolutions and whatnot), leveraging my social media presence to invite more people to try the app.
The timing, coupled with the growing interest in AI, helped us reach our goal of 50 users.
I vividly remember posting about our private beta on Facebook, hoping for a few responses, and waking up to dozens of messages from people eager to try it out. It was a thrilling moment that showed me there was real interest in what we were building.
Actionable Step: Validate with Friends and Community

• Use your network to gather the first group of users. Reach out to friends, family, and community members even if they don't fit your target audience profile. Ensure that these early users are willing to provide feedback and engage with the app.
• Limit the length of time for the beta. It helps people feel like they don't have to commit for a long period of time

Effective Strategies and Platforms
One effective strategy was limiting the number of users who could join the private beta, creating a sense of urgency.
Facebook was the primary platform for user acquisition, given its algorithm and the personal connection it offers.
We also created a Facebook group for FitHero, which allowed us to collect feedback, share updates, and engage with users in a private community. This approach fostered a sense of exclusivity and community among early adopters.
People love to feel like they're part of something exclusive, and this really drove engagement.
Actionable Step: Leverage Timing and Social Media

• Launch your app or a private beta at a strategic time. Use your social media presence to spread the word and invite users.
• Create a Sense of Urgency: Create a private beta with limited spots to drive urgency and make users feel special for being early adopters.

Engaging with Early Users
Engaging with early users primarily through the Facebook group was highly effective for us.
In particular, polls were excellent ways of gathering valuable feedback. Most posts to the group didn't get a ton of engagement, but when I posted a poll, it was easy for people to give feedback.
Actionable Step: Utilize Social Media Groups

• Create a Facebook group or similar community space for your app. Use this space to collect feedback, share updates, and build a sense of community. Engage users with polls to gather valuable insights.

Acquiring your first 50 users can definitely be challenging, but through a combination of timing, value-proposition and putting ourselves out there, we were able to do it and gather great feedback along the way.

Hi after installing a brand new tc500 controller I discover that my motor temps sensor was default causing the bike to go limp mode after few discussion with the torp team the give me the sensor part number KTY84/130 but I can't see where the sensor is located in the motor anyone have a tips , picture for me ? Ensure that the poker site you play on has agreed that the way you intend to prove your identity and address meets their policy. And be aware that policy may differ to norms used in your jurisdiction.
So I've been playing on GGPoker for a few weeks now, deposited a few bucks to take advantage of their deposit bonus and honeymoon promo (which is some real shady bait and switch shit, but I digress) only to find myself in the situation of having to prove my ID and address now, as another member of my household created an account, which whilst within the rules of site if you don't sit at the same table, did trigger a multi-account ban.
Now did GG ask for proof of address or ID when they took my money? No of course not. Well they're asking for it now.
No problem I thought, as per UK government guidance a UK driving licence in combination of with a passport is considered solid undeniable proof of identity AND address. This is pretty much my only option, as I don't directly pay the utilities, and I am currently on a career break studying for a Masters degree online, so I don't receive any communications with my name and address on.
Well not according it GG it aint. Why you may ask, when it absolves GGPoker of all liability should you commit fraud or money laundering on their site, as they followed the UK government guidance? Because Fuck You, that why. Even the fucking gambling commission in the UK accepts drivers licence as proof of address when making a request for any personal information they may hold on you, so why don't you GG? What about bank statements you may ask? Well apparently you can't redact ANY information from the document you provide. So I have to trust some guy earning minimum wage with my full bank account details, as opposed to when I securely deposited my money with the full protection of encryption that even a supercomputer working until the heat death of the universe couldn't crack? Fuck that.
What about other documents then? Well I did spend ages verifying my ID with HMRC in order for them to produce a letter with the only piece of identifying information on it being my National Insurance number. Not ideal you may say, but I say better then my bank details.
So off it goes to the GG support, but no apparently a dated letter with my name and address on it from a government department is not proof of ID. And now that I've typed all this rant out I do realise there is one readily accessible utility bill that I personally pay: my mobile phone, and the piece of information on that (apart from name and address ofc) is the amount of money I pay to my operator. Check mate motherfuckers, now I can withdraw all my money and fuck off back to Stars.
Thank you for reading my rant, and moral of the story: Its legal for GG to take your money and launder it, but its not legal for you to get your money back having laundered it (which I'm not, scout's honour).
And always always make sure the site your playing on won't make you jump through a shit ton of hoops in hope you'll just give up on withdrawing those 20 bucks, as for the site as a whole they all add up.

My Microsoft account has been suspended for about a year now, I can still use outlook and other features but I can’t log into my Microsoft account.
I have no suspicious activity on my account, what I was doing before it was suspended? I just clicked an advert Microsoft sent for me to try the new bing AI and I wasn’t allowed to proceed due to “suspicious activity on my account”
Trying to verify my account when I put a phone number for a code to be sent, it says the feature is not available now.
When I fill an account recovery form, no matter the information it says it’s not enough.
I have been trying all available options for a while now and from all the information I see everywhere it’s like Microsoft just blocks accounts for no reason and just don’t give a damn.

Picture this, you are a mutant. Hooray! You are of mild power and are scouted out by magneto for your use. Maybe you have a tragic story, who cares. What does the brotherhood offer you?
Is it a sort of anti-xaviers school? Same kind of structure but like more evil and run by Magneto? Does it have that same kind of family feel where everyone is in close ties, or is it alot more tense given the stability of the mutants frequenting it. Or is it more joining is just still being the same life, offered protection, and sometimes you have to go fight in a battle and lose in exchange for it.

I’m going to have to give a bit of a back story here… in 2000 my Grandfather passed away . We ( my dad, and my brother and I ) had never entered his house after my grandmother passed several years before. Turning out that he was by all definitions a pack rat. It took two years and nine thirty yard dumpsters to empty out his house. He had a mice infestation. Generations of the fucking things that made themselves a home there. Nests, droppings, you name it. I found it there be traumatizing to be honest. Fast forward to present day. My brother and mother live in a modest house in NC where I once shared my home with them. Life happened and I left, leaving my belongings here to store. Recently I found my way back to them and this god forsaken house. I’ve invested A LOT of money in clothes, books, jewelry making supplies and household items that were NOT cheap. It’s been hard as heel to ‘go through’ and organize and create some sort of order. I suffer from debilitating depression, ADD, and other fun acronyms that have made life difficult , I’m recently sober after three decades of substance abuse and have mounted legal shit as well. All of which I’ve decided to tackle at once. Few days ago, on a roll with the organization of my belongings, a mouse came out and crawled over my arm and disappeared into god knows where. I’ve paid HUNDREDS for exterminating, layed useless traps. ( the mice literally shit on them), I’ve done everything humanly possible to prevent and stop these things from coming into this house. When I say everything, I mean it. I don’t have the money to keep doing this. It infuriates me because it’s like watching Benjamin’s wash down the toilet.., My brother takes care of my elderly, and sick mom. She had MS, and thinks he walks on water. The house is a dump. They rent btw. I’ve tried EVERYTHING to get them to move but the term complacency has been redefined by my brother. He really doesn’t have a problem with it and justifies it with national statistics. My mom goes along with anything he wants. I’ve been TERRIFIED to go back into the room. This is just a fraction of traumatic events that has occurred here in this hell hole. When they first got here and had spotty history with renting, I got a name of a slum lord, who rented to ANYONE. The whole point was to move in, move up, move out. I’m doing all I can to make that happen for myself. Without taking up an entire week of your time on the whole thing… the mouse thing has me petrified. Wtf do I do?!? I know I probably sound crazy. I’m an adult and bigger than this ‘thing’. I don’t even use social media anymore. Haven’t in over 5 months. This is the picture of absolute desperation. Smh. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am currently doing my first playthrough of LeafGreen alongside a friend doing FireRed. I have always been under the assumption that, after Erika at Celadon Gym, you fight Sabrina in Saffron Gym. I guess because you have to use the underground passages under Saffron to make it to each gym for a while, I assumed that you go to Saffron from Celadon. I was quite shocked to check my trainer card and see badge 5 still empty, with the MarshBadge being number 6.
