06 civic I’m 99% sure the clutch is bad but I do like certainty from people w experience. Obviously I’ve been through all the troubleshooting and I even went as far as to test the magnet. Magnet works! Everything gets power and the plate is proof of that. That only leaves the clutch right? I’ve ordered a rebuild kit I just want to be sure. Thanks!

Hey you guys, I could really use some advice. I've had my 2010 Audi for about 7 years now and I just paid it off last year. Unfortunately I got the common oil leak issue and had ton deal with a shitty mechanic a few months ago who apparently only temporarily fixed the issue. Now im faced with a $7,000 bill to basically rebuild the engine and replace my turbo as well. Im thinking long-term this would be a great investment to just keep maintaining the car and to avoid financing a new one which in the end would cost me more. I really love this car, its my first Audi, and it's been good to me overall. Should I continue to invest in her or get rid of her? Below is the breakdown of the bill 🥲 :

Note: Severe oil leaks from several areas, including rear vacuum pump assembly front upper and lower timing covers oil filter housing and turbo assembly. codes
range from system lean, multiple misfires, and under boost conditions. smoke testing engine reveals severe leaks from multiple spots including rear main seal,
timing covers, oil filter housing, oil pan. coolant leak from rear heater hose assembly as well. turbo charger has play on waste gate assembly. there is also no boost
felt and when using scan tool, demanded psi is not reached. technician suspects failure between turbo and wastegate. best options for this vehicle is to remove
engine to perform full reseal and turbo replacement, then rerun for possible fuel smells.

I need the 2 bushings the connect to one of the shift rods. Excuse my lack of knowledge on what the parts are called. There is a bushing on each side of a short rod that connects to one of the shifter cables. I tried twice at the volkswagen dealer, each time they told me parts are no longer available, then call me 3 wels later and say they are in, never the right ones. It been sitting for a year because of those bushings being dry rotted and fell apart, they go on each side of what I believer is a small round piece metal with metal ball and small rod that goes through it, possibility held together with and e clip. I've been shown parts diagrams at the dealer (they suck) and swore I picked there right bushings. Someone has to know what I'm talking about. Long story short, best case scenario I get my hands on a complete rebuild kit that includes every single part, bushing and clip that is underneath or involved in the entire shifter assembly. I've found rebuild kits, none include the bushings I need that connect to one of the rods on the cable.
Edit: if someone can show me a picture via DM and definitely give me either part numbers (they are 2 differnt bushings) and I can get what I actually need, I will cash app you 50 dollars, I'm that desperate, the car is useless without those parts, and the vehicle is basically flawless for an '03.

I've got about 10km to work and right now I use my car for the trip. But I would like to use my bike instead, the route is a lot of up and downhill so it is hard to ride it normally.

I am somewhat geeky so the process of building it on my bike shouldn't be too big of a challenge.

So I went and bought a pristine LTZ250 I mean 8.5-9/10 beautiful bike. Previous owner said he couldn’t keep it running and decided to sell the head ache. Me loving a good buy/simple fix went and grabbed it. Got it home, got It running and it dumped white smoke. I mean completely smoked my garage out. Later that night I went and bought a complete top end rebuild kit, took it apart. Cleaned all the carbon off everything, top end looks completely brand new. Cylinder walls were perfect so I threw a new Wiesco piston w rings and all. Slapped it all back together and got it running.. well as the title suggests I’m having carb issues. The previous owner threw the OEM mikuni in the trash and bought a cheap amazon Chinese carb with no markings and only one screw to adjust. I can’t get this thing to idle with out the choke being on. Spent hours trying to adjust it with no luck on a healthy idle. Are these carbs this terrible and worth me investing in an EBay OEM take off. What’s your opinions?

I recently purchased a used hot tub as a rebuild project. I wasn't too careful with the skirting material when I moved it and now I think I'm regretting not being more careful.
The existing skirting is, I think, some kind of FRP. It's a pretty rigid plastic material about 3/8" thick. They are individual panels about 5" wide with a loose tounge and groove. I figured it would be fairly readily available but all I can find are complete panel kits.
Does anyone know where I can buy this type of product?

I have two Husqvarna weed eaters, a 525L and a 128CD that I am repairing. I've had them both for awhile and cannot for the life of me get them to run. So I finally bought a compression testing kit and used it on both of them. One of them barely hit 100psi and the other was around 105-110. I think these are low numbers and indicate a required rebuild. Can you guys confirm that for me? I don't know standard numbers for Husqvarna weed eaters.

Looking for some options on a durable diff locker for my Hoss.
Background: I am running the stock 540 motor and ESC.. 3S battery and stock Sledgehammer tires. I have a 17/54 gear setup (slightly faster than stock). I upgraded to the heavy duty metal drive shafts Traxxas makes, and they’ve been awesome. I’ve relegated myself to off-road driving, so I’m in low-traction situations, but I drive it harder than most YouTube reviewers 😆
Since upgrading the drive shafts, I constantly kill differentials. I switched to metal diff carriers because the crown gear would just pull the screws right out of the plastic carrier. That pushed the weakest part of the drive line inside the diff; it started to chew the gears inside the diff within one or two runs. After rebuilding both diffs a couple of times, I got sick of buying the gear kit.
My latest test was to drop in a cheap diff locker from Amazon (third pic) in the metal carrier. My hope was that removing as many moving parts would help. It held up for one run, then sheared the output shaft. It was cheap, but I’d love to find something that could hold up.
How in the world can you run this beast without breaking things? Surely the modest pinion upgrade isn’t doing this. I was killing the stock plastic driveshafts right out of the box.
Anyone have a setup that actually handles the power this thing has!?

I just had this happen, and watched it happen two more times while I was kitting out. I lost all my shit to a friendly (sigh) in the field, and logged off. After dinner I got back online, spent time rebuilding my entire fucking kit one item at a time. Was literally about to call in my chopper and boom, grenade, Im in a coma, ask for help, friendlies try to help but the "Examine" function was disabled, or otherwise wouldn't work. So I skip coma run 6ft to my body, half my shits gone.
THIS needs to be priority numero uno! No one can play if these dirtbags keep doing this at your own damn base.

Rebuilding the entire motor and looking for recommendations on top and bottom end upgrades kits or stock kits if no upgrades are available.

Okay, I'm going to be up-front that this is my own fault. I'm just having a hell of a time diagnosing exactly what I FUBARed. I tried to make the switch from Windows 11 to Linux. Before I did that, I made a backup of my MO2 profile -- as in, the entire profile. Slid that on over to a 4TB external HDD. Tried Fedora Workstation 40. I actually really liked it, but... there were a few things I couldn't figure out how to get it to do, to my satisfaction.
Remembered that all those things are just dead-simple to do on Windows, plus I can turn off or otherwise deflect most of Microsoft's spyware, and I'm Just Not That Important when it comes to all the other paranoia-related reasons to ditch Windows. So I switched back. (This is all context for the issue I'm having, I promise.)
So back on W1123H2, I get everything reinstalled, drop the backed-up profile into MO2 to overwrite its stock 'default' profile, fire up the game (after all the requisite bare-metal stuff like 4GB patcher and NVSE) and...
There's stuff missing. Pretty much A through C in the left-hand pane. I spend a day or so tracking down all the missing stuff via my (also backed up) Downloads folder, putting everything back and back in order.
But now I've got a weird bug.
Whenever I load into the FO3 side of TTW, I spend between 1 and 5 seconds in a blank void before the world pops in.
